Vichy Republican McConnell Considers Trump’s Proposed Tax Cuts “Dangerous”…Of Course He Does

Government does not tax to get the money it needs; government always finds a need for the money it gets. – Ronald Reagan

Bloomberg.com reports that

President-elect Donald Trump’s race to enact the biggest tax cuts since the 1980s went under a caution flag Monday as Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell warned he considers current levels of U.S. debt “dangerous” and said he wants any tax overhaul to avoid adding to the deficit.

“I think this level of national debt is dangerous and unacceptable,” McConnell said, adding he hopes Congress doesn’t lose sight of that when it acts next year. “My preference on tax reform is that it be revenue neutral,” he said.

During a news conference, McConnell also poured cold water on the idea of a massive stimulus package, effectively laying out markers on taxes and spending that that could cramp Trump’s ambitions.

The Committee for a Responsible Federal Budget, a nonpartisan think tank, has projected that Trump’s plans wouldincrease the debt by $5.3 trillion over a decade, with deficits already over $600 billion a year and rising on autopilot.

If Trump achieves the plans he has laid out, “the deficit’s going to be a lot higher than expected, at least in the short term,” said Stan Collender, a budget expert and former Democratic congressional aide. It could rise to $1 trillion per year for four years, he said.

As for Trump’s infrastructure plan, touted as costing roughly $1 trillion but with more than 80 percent of the financing coming from the private sector, McConnell said he’s looking forward to seeing the details.

“What I hope we will clearly avoid, and I’m confident we will, is a trillion-dollar stimulus,” he said. “Take you back to 2009. We borrowed $1 trillion and nobody could find that it did much of anything. So we need to do this carefully and correctly and the issue of how to pay for it needs to be dealt with responsibly.”

One interesting wrinkle is that Trump has named McConnell’s wife — former Labor Secretary Elaine Chao — to head the Department of Transportation, which would likely make her one of his point people on any infrastructure package.

Debt Limit

The debt limit will need to rise next year to avoid defaulting on government obligations; McConnell said he wasn’t sure if that would be paired with any deficit-reduction measures next year as it was in 2011, when Republicans held the debt limit hostage and extracted more than $2 trillion in deficit cuts over a decade from President Barack Obama.

House Speaker Paul Ryan has also said he wants tax changes to be deficit-neutral, indicating that Republicans will assume positive macroeconomic benefits from tax cuts to ease the projected budgetary hit — a process known as dynamic scoring that is popular on the right.

McConnell offered little specificity on changes to Obamacare, saying the Senate would kick off the new year with an Obamacare resolution and then start working on a replacement.

Simply waiting wasn’t an option, he said.

“The notion that we could do nothing and allow the current law to implode is unacceptable,” McConnell said. “So, I hope no one believes no action is possible or appropriate.”

That replacement process could take as long as three years, according to Republican senators, although some conservatives, particularly in the House, want a much faster timeline.

In the short term, eliminating all of Obamacare — including its taxes and Medicare cuts — would add to the deficit, the Congressional Budget Office concluded in 2015.

Before the election, McConnell had said he hoped to work on limiting eligibility for programs like Medicare and Social Security if Hillary Clinton was elected. He didn’t repeat that call Monday.

Correct me if I’m wrong but aren’t the Republicans supposed to be the fiscally-responsible party?

The Establishment or “Vichy” Republicans, must idolize or at least respect the Democratic Party because they seem Hell-bent on copying them in their actions, words, and deeds.

Just look at their track record over Obama’s tenure n the Oval Office.

As we say in Dixie, they ain’t done squat.

And now, like a bunch of Democrats, they expect us to forget their lack of intestinal fortitude, while in office, and to remember that “they” won the Presidency.

Oh, we  remember them all right. But, not in the way they want us to. We do not remember them as leaders. Oh, no. Rather, Americans, here in the Heartland, remember them with all of the fondness that the French Resistance remembered the Nazi collaborators, or Vichy French, after World War II.

What slays me is the fact that the Establishment Republicans seem to be quite content, in their moderately left-leaning stupor, to be totally oblivious and tone deaf of their Base, average hard working middle-class Americans like you and me.

You know, the people who just voted the Republican Presidential Candidate into office.

The Vichy Republicans keep on making bad choices.

They are pushing for maintaining the Washingtonian Status Quo because they erroneously believe that they know “what’s best for us”.

Spineless Vichy Republicans have been a barrier to Republican Success in governing for as long as I can remember. Like Quakers, Establishment Republicans seem to believe that passive resistance and reaching out to their sworn enemies as “friends”, is the way to defeat those who oppose you.

It has been especially bad during Obama’s reign, as the House and Senate Republican Leadership apparently cherished their friendship with the Democrats more than they did the wishes of the folks back home. Yes, they talked a good game, but so did Jon Lovitz in those “Liar Sketches” during the old days of Saturday Night Live, back when they were actually funny.

Yeah,  my wife Morgan Fairchild. Yeah, that’s it. That’s the ticket!

I believe that the Republican Party is stuck in a cycle in which their desire to protect their own hindquarters and cushy “jobs” has lead to a self-imposed isolation from the very American Citizens who were responsible for their having those cushy “jobs” in the first place.

The Republican Congress needs to support Donald J. Trump and to remember that average Americans, like you and me, have given the President-elect a mandate through which to fulfill his campaign promises. They also need to remember that we have the power to relieve them of the burden of their stressful jobs, and send others to Washington, who will listen to their “bosses”.

Now is not the time for the Vichy Republicans to jump off of “The Trump Train” that carried them to victory in November.

Now is the time to Make America Great Again.

Until He Comes,

Of Russian Hacks, The “Stache”, and Learning When to “Let It Go”

trump-wallace-2

Just when you think that the Democratic Party has pulled every cheap trick in the book, in order to undermine the election of Donald J. Trump as our next president, comes this “Fake News”.

FoxNews.com  reports that

President-elect Donald Trump, in an exclusive interview with “Fox News Sunday,” decried as “ridiculous” the CIA’s reported assessment that Russia intervened in the election to boost his candidacy – describing the claim as another “excuse” pushed by Democrats to explain his upset victory.

“It’s just another excuse. I don’t believe it,” Trump said. “… Every week it’s another excuse.  We had a massive landslide victory, as you know, in the Electoral College.”

Trump spoke with Fox News’ Chris Wallace in the president-elect’s first Sunday show interview since winning the election.

He spoke at length about his Cabinet selection process, defending his decision to tap several military generals while previewing an announcement soon on his secretary of state choice. He vowed as well to “clean” up and “speed” up government agencies, without necessarily dismantling President Obama’s legacy.

But while staying careful not to personally criticize the sitting president over his intelligence agencies’ analysis on foreign cyber-interference in the election, Trump made clear he rejects their assessment so far.

“Nobody really knows, and hacking is very interesting. Once they hack, if you don’t catch them in the act you’re not going to catch them,” he said. “They have no idea if it’s Russia or China or somebody. It could be somebody sitting in a bed some place.”

Trump was responding to a Washington Post report that the CIA concluded in a secret assessment that Russia interfered in the race to boost Trump, not just undermine confidence in the system.

Intelligence agencies reportedly found individuals connected to the Russian government gave WikiLeaks hacked emails from the Democratic National Committee, as well as from Hillary Clinton Campaign Chairman John Podesta – though did not have “specific intelligence” showing Kremlin officials directed the activity.

The assessment was shared with key senators.

This whole thing smells worse than Russian Caviar.

And, a possible Future State Department Employee agrees with me.

Thehill.com reports that

John Bolton, the former U.S. ambassador to the United Nations who has been floated for a possible role in Donald Trump’s State Department,  questioned reports of Russian interference in the U.S. presidential election.

“It is not at all clear to me, just viewing this from the outside, that this hacking into the DNC and the RNC was not a false flag operation,” he told Fox News’ Eric Shawn on Sunday. When pressed about his use of the phrase “false flag” and whether he was accusing an entity in the U.S. of involvement, Bolton said, “We just don’t know.”

“But I believe that intelligence has been politicized in the Obama administration to a very significant degree.”

The Washington Post reported Friday that the CIA concluded Russia intervened in the election to help Trump win the presidency.

Various people have been identified who helped the Russian government leak hacked documents from Democratic sources, including the Democratic National Committee (DNC) and Hillary Clinton’s campaign chairman, to WikiLeaks, according to the report.

Trump assailed Democrats over the issue on Sunday, saying it was ridiculous to think Russia interfered in the election to help him get elected, even as a bipartisan group of senators called for an investigation.

But, “if you think the Russians did this, then why did they leave fingerprints?” that led the CIA to its conclusion, Bolton questioned.

“We would want to know who else might want to influence the election and why they would leave fingerprints that point to the Russians. That’s why I say until we know more about how the intelligence community came to this conclusion we don’t know whether it is Russian inspired or a false flag.”

This whole blasted thing positively reeks of Democratic Desperation.

Former Ambassador Bolton is right.

The Russians would not have been stupid enough to leave their fingerprints all over this sort of operation.

If this “hack” actually happened and it IS a false flag operation, then there is only one person who could sanction it and that is the individual who currently sits in the Oval Office at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue in Washington, DC.

Talk about political dirty tricks and abuse of power…this is something pulled from the script of a Hollywood movie.

The fact that the whole Presidential Campaign was corrupted through the use of improbably push polls, paid for protesters, and Television News Reporters not only spewing forth Democrat Talking points but also giving the Hillary Campaign Staff the questions asked in the debates beforehand, should make any other Political Party embarrassed by their own behavior.

But, not the Democrats.

Nope. After the reality of the Trump Victory sunk into the deep dark recesses of their oversized but empty craniums, the Dems decided to double down on stupid.

First, Soros financed protests over the election results in major cities.

That having failed, now they are producing the hearsay report of a “CIA Investigation” of Russian involvement in the election on the side of Mr. Trump.

The Democrats are so frantic over the coming Inauguration of Donald J. Trump, they don’t no what to do.

So, when this “CIA Investigation” is found to have no substance, what next?

Will they claim that Trump is actually an alien from Outer Space?

Come on, Dems.

As the song from the Disney Movie, “Frozen”, which all the kids  riding in the back of cars across the country are still singing goes,

Let it go!

President-elect Trump Receives Thunderous Ovation at Army-Navy Game. Obama No Shows. I’m Shocked.

Our military has to be strengthened. Our vets have to be taken care of. – President-elect Donald J. Trump

Foxnews.com reports that

Donald Trump on Saturday at the annual Army-Navy football game praised the athletes on the field and the service academies’ students in the stands whom he’ll soon command as president, calling them “amazing people.”

“You don’t see this kind of spirit everywhere,” Trump, the Republican president-elect, said during halftime of the game in Baltimore. “Just amazing people.”

He also said the experience of becoming president and knowing he would lead such great men and women was “humbling” and also a “great honor and responsibility.”

“They want to be strong,” Trump said.

Trump otherwise largely kept the conversation with the CBS commentators light and chatty, going along with the idea of making Vern Lundquist the U.S. ambassador to Sweden.

“I couldn’t do better,” he said. “I think you could (pass Senate confirmation.) I think Sweden would be very happy.”

He also talked briefly about owning the New Jersey Generals of the United States Football League and called Super Bowl MVP New York Jets quarterback Joe Namath a “great star.”

Trump spent the first half of the game in the box of David Urban, a West Point graduate and Republican adviser. He spent the second half in the box of retired Marine Lt. Col. Oliver North, a graduate of Annapolis and Fox News contributor.

A Trump transition official said before kickoff that Trump would not formally switch sides at halftime in the traditional symbol of commander-in-chief neutrality because he is not the sitting president.

Trump was expected at the game to join several advisers, including incoming White House Chief of Staff Reince Priebus and senior adviser Steve Bannon.

Trump is a 1964 graduate of the New York Military Academy, near West Point, in upstate New York.

What a refreshing change.

Have you ever noticed that when United States President Barack Hussein Obama enters a room to address a group of the United States Armed Forces, a silence falls over those assembled?

Well… There’s a reason for that.

They don’t like him.

In 2015, The Military Times reported that

In his first term, President Obama oversaw repeal of the controversial “don’t ask, don’t tell” policy.

Then he broke with one of the military’s most deeply rooted traditions and vowed to lift the ban on women serving in combat.

And the commander in chief has aggressively sought to change military culture by cracking down on sexual assault and sexual harassment, problems that for years were underreported or overlooked.

Obama is an unpopular president in the eyes of the men and women in uniform. Yet his two-term administration is etching a deep imprint on the culture inside the armed forces. As Commander-in-Chief, he will leave behind a legacy that will shape the Pentagon’s personnel policies and the social customs of rank-and-file troops for decades to come.

For Obama’s supporters, the cultural changes he’s overseeing are on a level with President Truman’s 1948 order that desegregated the military and put it at the forefront of the national push for racial equality.

But to his critics, his moves amount to heavy-handed social engineering that erode deep-seated traditions and potentially undermine good order and discipline.

And for the troops in today’s career force, the wave of changes to deep-seated policies and attitudes can be jarring.

“It’s a very different Army than the one I came in to,” said Sgt. 1st Class Eric Rexilius, who joined the Army 21 years ago and is now a helicopter repairman at Joint Base Lewis-McChord in Washington state.

“I personally don’t think it’s a bad change,” he said — while acknowledging that among his cohort of older career soldiers, “I’m probably a minority.”

“For most of my peers,” Rexilius said, “it makes them uncomfortable because it’s not what they are used to.”

The long-term effects of Obama’s social policies on the military remain unknown. But one thing is clear: He is a deeper unpopular commander in chief among the troops.

According to a Military Times survey of almost 2,300 active-duty service members, Obama’s popularity — never high to begin with — has crumbled, falling from 35 percent in 2009 to just 15 percent this year, while his disapproval ratings have increased to 55 percent from 40 percent over that time.

Back on November 12, 2007, then-Senator Barack Hussein Obama (D-IL) proclaimed,

I’ll be a President who ensures that America serves our men and women in uniform as well as they’ve served us, and that’s why I’m proud to have the support of these veterans advising me on the issues facing our troops and veterans.

After seven years of an Administration that has stretched our military to the breaking point, ignored deplorable conditions at some VA hospitals, and neglected the planning and preparation necessary to care for our returning heroes, America’s veterans deserve a President who will fight for them not just when it’s easy or convenient, but every hour of every day for the next four years.

An ounce of pretension is worth a pound of manure.

Obama is our Armed Forces Commander in-Chief (Thank God, that is about to change). The responsibility for everything that happens to the men and women serving in our armed forces, in which some part of our federal government is involved, both during and after their service, falls on his shoulders and his alone.

Through his treatment of our Heroes as “ancillary” servants to be used for social experimentation and budget cutting, when he wants to use their money to further his socialization of America, Obama has placed our Armed Forces in an untenable situation.

Distinguished American Veteran, Former United States Representative Lt. Col. Allen B. West once wrote the following, concerning Obama’s treatment of our Armed Forces:

Barack Hussein Obama cannot be seen as a Commander-in-Chief and I will never refer to him that way. His fundamental transformation of America means weakening our nation and leaving our Republic less secure. I can just imagine how appreciative and elated his Muslim Brotherhood friends are at this point, to include Turkey’s President Erdogan, as well as the mad mullahs in Iran.

Spot on.

I remember my ex-brother-in-law, Dave. My late step-sister met him at the USO in Memphis during the Vietnam War. David was a Polish Catholic from outside of Detroit, a Navy guy who received his training in the computers of the day, while in service to our country. When he got out, they got married and moved to Dearborn (now Dearbornistan), Michigan, where he got a job with Burroughs. I remember Dave, because he was always good to me, even though I was just a runt kid, 15 years younger than him. I remember him cleaning his service rifle, sitting on the living room floor of our house, and, making sure it was empty, allowing me to to hold it. At the time,I thought that was the coolest thing I had ever done.

I also remember John. John was a friend of my sister’s, who stayed with us, because of problems at home. As I have related before, my folks were the ones whom all my sister’s friends would talk to when they had trouble at home. John was great guy, as well, who wound up enlisting and serving in that “crazy Asian War”, as Kenny Rogers and Mel Tillis once referred to it in song.

I have related before about my own Daddy and my Uncles, and their service in World War II. I have also had friends that served over the years, and one who is still serving in the Air National Guard.

All of these men were/are Patriots. They enlisted out of duty to God and Country.

Our Brightest and Best, who wear the uniform today, are no less dedicated. They deserve to be treated with respect, not as pawns in a game of political expediency, whose rules including social experimentation, political correctness, and blatant disrespect by the Commander-in-Chief.

The greatest American President in my lifetime, Ronald Reagan, once said,

Of the four wars in my lifetime, none came about because the U.S. was too strong.

Reagan was a realist. He realized that, as President Theodore “Teddy” Roosevelt once advised, the best way to keep America safe, is to “Speak softly and carry a big stick”.

We have suffered for 8 long years under a president who speaks like a wuss and carries a feather pillow, a Mexican Flag, and a prayer rug.

And, you wonder why those “wonderful people” erupted in appreciation for our President-elect, Donald J. Trump?

They were simply happy that they will once again have a Commander-in-Chief who appreciates them.

Stocks are Soaring: Why Americans are so Optimistic (A KJ Analysis)

up-staged-nrd-600-a

Money won’t create success, the freedom to make it will. – Nelson Mandela

CNBC.com reports that

The election of Donald Trump has brought with it a surge in optimism in the United States over the economy and stocks not seen in years. The CNBC All-America Economic Survey for the fourth quarter found that the percentage of Americans who believe the economy will get better in the next year jumped an unprecedented 17 points to 42 percent, compared with before the election. It’s the highest level since President Barack Obama was first elected in 2008.

The surge was powered by Republicans and independents reversing their outlooks. Republicans swung from deeply pessimistic, with just 15 percent saying the economy would improve in the next year, to strongly optimistic, with 74 percent believing in an economic upswing. Optimism among independents doubled but it fell by more than half for Democrats. Just 16 percent think the economy will improve.

“We’re looking at America moving into a more positive era with regard to economic expectations,” said Micah Roberts, vice president at Public Opinion Strategies, which serves as the Republican pollster for the CNBC survey. “No doubt the election of Donald Trump has ushered that in. “The poll of 800 adults around the country was conducted Dec. 2 to 5, and has a margin of error of 3.5 percentage points. Hart Research Associates served as the Democratic pollsters.

A majority of Americans tell CNBC they are “comfortable and prepared to support” a Trump presidency. The 56 percent of respondents who now back the president-elect represent a sharp change from the 43 percent who were asked the question just before the election in November by NBC News and The Wall Street Journal. The percentage is driven by 91 percent of Republicans supporting Trump but also 54 percent of independents and even 23 percent of Democrats. The survey showed a rise in optimism when it comes to several key economic gauges. Americans now look for higher wage gains next year and bigger increases in their housing prices.

The post-election surge in major stock market indexes also has buoyed feelings about equities, with 40 percent saying now is a good time to invest, up 10 points from before the election. Again, Democrats became somewhat more negative on stocks while Republicans grew significantly more optimistic.

Those differences are also clear in the choice for what Americans believe is the best investment right now. While real estate remains the top choice for the third straight year, stocks gained the most ground at the expense of gold, real estate and Treasurys. Driving the change: the shine is off gold for Republicans and they, along with independents, have grown more favorable toward equities.

Nearly every demographic, except the poor and Democrats, now has a net positive view about investing in stocks.

But the survey shows the president-elect has his work cut out for him. Asked which one or two items Trump should focus on first, a 40 percent plurality answered, “Keeping U.S. jobs from going overseas.” All other priorities were far back and it was the top choice for all parties, but especially the GOP.

“Among Republicans, there’s keeping jobs from going overseas and then there’s everything else — it’s really all about jobs and keeping jobs in the U.S.,” said Democratic pollster Jay Campbell with Hart.

The second-most popular priority was increasing the minimum wage, which has strong support from Democrats and independents. The conundrum for the incoming president is that keeping jobs from moving overseas could, in some cases, mean lower wages for Americans. Coming in third among priorities was reducing the deficit, a strong choice among Republicans and independents, followed by funding infrastructure, boosted by Democrats and independents. Again, these two priorities are potentially in conflict since infrastructure spending would boost the deficit.

A potential warning to the president-elect comes from two priorities he has discussed at length, business tax cuts and deregulation. Both come in far down the list among priorities for the public, with modest independent support and little backing from Democrats.

Why are the majority of Americans so optimistic?

Perhaps it’s because, after Inauguration Day 2017, the Washington Status Quo no longer applies to the Leadership of our Sovereign Country.

There will be no racially-divisive rhetoric, no allusions to the Marxism Axioms revolving around Class Warfare, no self-deification, such as

This was the moment when the rise of the oceans began to slow and our planet began to heal.

By the way, how’s that “Hope and Change” workin’ out for ya?

But, I digress…

Instead, we will hear from a man who genuinely LOVES America and her people, instead of viewing us all as racist, misogynist, xenophobes.

And, therein lies the secret of Donald J. Trump’s success.

What Trump did, with his refusal early in his campaign to “act more presidential”, was to implement a strategy.

Trump has always been a “people person”.

That is the reason that, when he was still a contributor to Fox News, he would speak to everyone in the building, from the maintenance crew, on up the ladder.

As Sam Walton, the Founder of Walmart, knew, you don’t inspire people by acting imperious and above it all.

“Mr. Sam”, until his health would no longer allow him to do so, would travel to Walmart Stores in his old pickup truck, with a tie and a baseball cap on, visiting the employees, in order to find out how his stores were doing.

He knew that the only way to be successful and to stay in touch with the public, was to be out among them, and speak to them honestly and directly, as one would speak to a friend.

Just as President-elect Trump is doing by way of his “Thank You” Tour and his Daily Tweets to the American People..

The Political Establishment, of both parties, lost that concept, a long time ago.

Bypassing the borders to communication, historically determined by both political parties and the Main Stream Media, is a concept which I first witnessed being employed by a Presidential Candidate in the 1980 Presidential Election, named Ronald Wilson Reagan.

While I am not comparing the two, I am noting that this strategy has proved effective for both men.

As the polls have shown, Trump struck a resonant chord in the hearts of Average Americans, living here in the part of America, which the snobbish Political Elites refer to as “Flyover Country”, but which we refer to as “America’s Heartland”, or, quite simply, “HOME”.

Why is Donald J. Trump so popular with average Americans?

The reason is very simple: WE WERE ANGRY AND WE FELT THAT NO ONE IN WASHINGTON, D.C.WAS LISTENING TO US.

Our palpable anger was one which had been building since January of 2009, when a Lightweight, who has as much in common with average Americans as a Martian would, was inaugurated as President of the United States of America.

That anger, a result of his anti-American actions and resulting policies, which have affected Americans’ daily lives, was then exacerbated by the Republican Elite, who, in their desire to “reach across the aisle” and “go along to get along”, intentionally distanced themselves from those who elected them to Congress in the first place.

Meanwhile, average Americans, like you and me, remained mired up to our necks in an abysmal swamp of bills and taxes, living paycheck-to-paycheck, afraid to make a move, for fearing of drowning in an ocean of debt.

Seemingly forgotten, in all of the forgotten promises, made by Barack Hussein Obama, were the over-94 million Americans, who were no longer, largely through no fault of their own, participating in our Workforce.

You want to talk about anger and frustration?

Try looking for work, when you are over 55 years of age.

Anger has played an important part in the forging of this great country.

It was anger that formed our country….an anger over being held captive to “Taxation Without Representation”…an anger which, as a prime example of history repeating itself, led Americans to choose a Citizen Statesman for their next President over a Professional Politician.

It is this anger, which also propelled Donald J. Trump to his victory in the Republican Primary Race…and those who prefer the Washingtonian Status Quo knew it.

That is why the Republican Establishment, at least some of them, wound up hitching a ride on “The Trump Train”.

If they had not accepted the reality of his Primary Victory, and the fact that Americans are angry, they would have gone down to defeat again in 2016.

They would have never achieved victory by once again trying to push the Jello of “Liberal Moderation” up a hill.

Hence, the failed campaign of Jeb! Bush.

In summation, the American people were tired of Political Correctness and anti-American political expediencies being forced down our throats by both political parties and trumpeted by their lackeys in the Main Stream Media.

Donald Trump, for all of his brashness and braggadocio, was a breath of free air and, quite frankly an anomaly. He’s not a professional politician. He is a businessman who wanted to become a public servant.

And now, the American People have given him the opportunity of a lifetime.

And, so far, through what he has accomplished even before taking the Oath of Office, he has demonstrated that he is up to the challenge.

A quote attributed to Helen Keller states that

Optimism is the faith that leads to achievement. Nothing can be done without hope and confidence.

It that is the case, then Americans are going to truly enjoy the next four years.

Hillary Calls for Congressional Action Against “Fake News”…i.e., “If It Wasn’t For Those Meddling Kids and That Stupid Dog, I Would Have Gotten Away With It.”

hillary-is-a-scooby-doo-villain

Filed under the category of “The Best Laid Plans”…

TheHill.com reports that

Hillary Clinton on Thursday decried the spread of fake news online, calling it an “epidemic” that Congress should take action against.

“The epidemic of malicious fake news and false propaganda that flooded social media over the past year — it’s now clear the so-called fake news can have real-world consequences,” Clinton said during a speech on Capitol Hill.

Some Democrats have argued the spread of anti-Clinton fake news online contributed to her electoral loss to Donald Trump Donald TrumpTrump showcases Cabinet picks on ‘thank you tour’Trump: Time changed award to ‘Person of the Year’ to be ‘politically correct’ Feinstein after dinner with Clinton: She has ‘accepted’ her lossMORE.

The issue has received renewed attention this week after a gunman entered a pizzeria in Washington that was at the center of a false viral conspiracy theory that alleged it was home to a pedophilia ring operated by Clinton and her inner circle.

“This isn’t about politics or partisanship,” Clinton continued during her speech Thursday at a ceremony honoring retiring Senate Minority Leader Harry Reid Harry ReidFeinstein after dinner with Clinton: She has ‘accepted’ her lossClintons remember John Glenn as a ‘uniquely American hero’Clinton reappears on Capitol Hill for Reid send-offMORE (D-Nev.).

“Lives are at risk — lives of ordinary people just trying to go about their days, to do their jobs, contribute to their communities.”

“It’s a danger that must be addressed and addressed quickly,” she said.

By “Fake News”, Mrs. Clinton means that her failed Presidential Campaign was sunk by the documentation and dissemination of frail health and other “challenges” through the use of Social Media by “Citizen Reporters”.

Americans, like President-elect Trump himself, have found a way to get around the minions of the Democratic Party, who used to be known as The Fourth Estate…and as professionals journalists.

For years, the Main Stream Media has been in bed with corrupt politicians and those who walk roam the Halls of Power with impunity (Mr. Soros to the Courtesy Desk, please.)

While touting objectivity, they have often fallen way short of that goal.

The Media really came into its own during the 80’s, with the advent of Cable Television, the Iranian Hostage Crisis, and the ascension and election of President Ronald Wilson Reagan. Their advocacy of all things Liberal became very apparent, as they attacked the greatest president of this generation, mercilessly, giving no quarter.

I believe that Reagan’s election was a wake up call to the MSM. They realized that, if left to their own devices, the American Public would elect a Conservative as President, every time. And, they just couldn’t have that. They were already in too deep to their Democratic, Progressive Masters.

So, America’s Media forsook their objectivity, choosing to help to shape current events, instead of just reporting on them, in an effort to produce outcomes which would be most beneficial to the Progressive Cause.

After propping up Barack Hussein Obama and getting him re-elected, their own hubris gave them an exaggerated sense of self-importance, as to their role in our society.

Their Achilles’ Heel , the before-mentioned hubris, blinded them to the potential of the New Media…and, that has been their undoing.

As has been affirmed to me since before the election of Barack Hussein Obama (mm mmm mmmm), during my surfing of the web, including Facebook Political Pages and websites, Modern American Liberals, including those in the Main Stream Media, constantly live in a state of denial.

They respond as if you have told them that you shot Ol’ Yeller, when you inform them that Liberalism is still the minority political belief in America, even (and especially) after the 7 1/2 year reign of King Barack The First.

This salient fact explains why CNN and MSNBC constantly trail Fox News in the television ratings polls.

It also explains their  massive propping up through the use of blatant propaganda of the failed Presidential Campaign of Hillary Clinton and now, her and Obama’s cries and lamentations over the “scourge” of “Fake News”.

Americans are now living in a  time when the Main Stream Media’s blatant propaganda is no longer believed at face value, as the evidence which refutes it is appearing in the live videos and photographs being shared on Facebook and other Social Media. And, like the little Dutch Boy, the Democratic Leadership, including Obama and Hillary, do not know which hole to plug, in the leaking dam, first.

In their frenzied desperate attempt to stop this flood of information from reaching average Americans, they have decided to try to discredit the believability of any news coverage that has not been sanctioned by the Democratic Party and as reported by their minions in the MSM.

Just like the Internet Trolls, who invade Facebook Political Pages and Political Websites, in order to disrupt conversation and call attention to themselves, the MSM, while covering the 2016 Presidential Campaign and under orders from the Democratic Party, created their own facts, permanently damaging their own credibility, quite probably beyond all repair.

So now, Obama and Hillary are trying to put the genie back in the bottle by creating the fake scourge of “Fake News”.

Because…who are you going to believe…your own lying eyes or a pair of damaged Professional Politicians?

Washington Post “Concerned” Over “Too Many Military Men” in Trump’s Cabinet. America to “Carry a Big Stick”…Again.”

trump-america-first-678x381

Once again, The Washington Post shows its deep concern over the President-elect’s judgment or, according to them, possible lack thereof in picking his Cabinet Appointments…

President-elect Donald Trump has selected retired Marine Gen. John F. Kelly as secretary of homeland security, officials familiar with the decision said Wednesday, recruiting a third former member of the military’s brass to serve at the highest levels of his administration.

Trump’s choice of Kelly — and his continued deliberations about tapping as many as two more military figures for other posts — has intensified worries among some members of Congress and national security experts that the new administration’s policies may be shaped disproportionately by military commanders.

“I’m concerned,” said Sen. Chris Murphy (D-Conn.), a member of the Foreign Relations Committee. “Each of these individuals may have great merit in their own right, but what we’ve learned over the past 15 years is that when we view problems in the world through a military lens, we make big mistakes.”

Despite making regular remarks on the campaign trail disparaging the nation’s generals, Trump has long shown an affinity for them. In shaping his administration, Trump has prioritized what one adviser described as “can-do, no-bull types,” which the president-elect sees as a deliberate contrast from the personnel choices President Obama has made.

If confirmed, Kelly and defense secretary nominee James Mattis, a retired Marine general with the nickname “Mad Dog,” would join retired Army Lt. Gen. Michael T. Flynn, Trump’s pick for White House national security adviser. Meanwhile, retired Army Gen. David H. Petraeus is under consideration for secretary of state, and Navy Adm. Michael S. Rogers is a contender for director of national intelligence.

Other figures with military backgrounds are populating the administration as well, including Rep. Mike Pompeo (R-Kan.), who graduated from West Point and served in the Army in the Gulf War, is Trump’s nominee to lead the Central Intelligence Agency, while Stephen K. Bannon, a former naval officer, will serve the president in the West Wing as chief strategist and senior counselor.

As Trump formally introduced Mattis as his pick to run the Pentagon, he relished in recalling the general’s exploits, and he has likened him to George S. Patton, the legendary World War II Army general.

“ ‘Mad Dog’ plays no games, right?” Trump told a roaring crowd Tuesday night in Fayetteville, N.C. “Led the forces that went after the Taliban and commanded the First Marine Division in Iraq. He is one of the most effective generals that we’ve had in many, many decades.”

To be confirmed, Mattis would have to receive a waiver from Congress because the law requires the defense secretary be a civilian for at least seven years before taking office. Mattis retired in 2013.

Sen. Patrick Leahy (D-Vt.) said of Trump, “For a guy who got four or five deferments from the draft, he seems pretty impressed with the military.”

Trump’s heavy reliance on military leaders marks a departure from the previous three presidents, who tapped a few generals for the highest jobs with mixed success and relied mostly on people who had spent decades in civilian service, as politicians or academics or lawyers.

“Trump is clearly operating out of a particular model,” said William A. Galston, a senior fellow at the Brookings Institution. “Almost all of his Cabinet will be made up of people from the military or people from a corporate background, and what they have in common is strong leadership and executive decision-making.”

Sen. Claire McCaskill (D-Mo.) quipped: “It’s the G&G cabinet. It does seem to be fairly limited to Goldman Sachs and generals.”

On Capitol Hill, the two generals Trump has nominated for Senate-confirmed positions — Mattis and Kelly — have been relatively well-received.

“Can you have a Cabinet full of generals? No — [not] any more than you can have a Cabinet full of lawyers or a Cabinet full of business people or whatever,” said Rep. Mac Thornberry (R-Tex.). But, he said: “I’m thinking of the individuals. They’re people I have incredible respect for.”

If the Main Stream Media keeps expressing all of this “heart-felt concern”, they are going to worry themselves right into a lifetime supply of Xanex.

Personally, I prefer Trump’s Cabinet Choices of “can-do, no-bull” types to the spineless academicians and career bureaucrats that Obama hired for his Cabinet positions.

For a stark example, look at what a global mess of things that Obama and his two Secretaries of State have made out of America’s Foreign Policy.

Obama was the first American Presidential Candidate to campaign for our Presidency, outside of our nation. All of the Main Stream Media fawned over his European campaigning as a brilliant move, while Americans were bumfuzzled at the media spectacle, trying to figure out why he would give campaign speeches to people who could not even vote for him.

Then, after he became President, one  of the first things Obama did was to go on a World Apology Tour, culminating with an “Address to the Muslim World” at the University of Cairo, in which he lauded the contributions of Muslims to world civilization and to the history of the united States of America, even though the population of Muslims in America, was only around 1% at the time.

Yeah…our Revolutionary War Hero and First President of the United States of America, Mohammed Washington…that’s the ticket!

Since then, Obama has continued to “reach out” to the Muslim World in an attempt to “Community Organize” them, even to the detriment of the country and its citizenry, whom he is supposed to be protecting.

Ambassador Christopher Stevens remains unavailable for comment.

In his zeal to appease his American voting base, and those whom he has worked so hard to “organize”, Obama pulled our troops out of the unstable, Radical Muslim nation of Iraq, in a “premature evacuation”.

Proudly announcing that “al Qaeda was on the run”, Scooter (my pet name for Obama), turned his attention to giving campaign speeches and rallying his Liberal Base, even though he was a President presiding over a tanking economy, with over 92 million Americans already gone from our workforce.

Then, it happened.

ISIS/ISIL, a Radical Muslim Terrorist Organization, with over 32 thousand adherents, invaded Iraq, (a country which Obama had prematurely evacuated by pulling our troops out) killing innocent Muslims and Christians, and threatened to flood Baghdad, by blowing up an essential dam on the Euphrates River.

Obama sprang into “Community Organizing” mode once again. He sent “military advisors” to Iraq, and sent Secretary of State John “I served in Vietnam” Kerry on a European and Middle Tour to trying to get a consensus to support our actions, and to try to form a coalition to assist in the “prosecution” of ISIS/ISIL, in order for Obama to keep his promise to his Far Left Supporters that there would be “no boots on the ground” in Iraq.

Think of it as General Custer sending the Scouts first into Little Big Horn, while he sat on his horse, watching from a hill.

Yeah. The Europeans wanted no part of it, either.

However, some of the Middle Eastern Nations decided that they would join in, for their own self-protecting, mercenary reasons (Remember the Hessians in the Revolutionary War?).

President Barack Hussein Obama’s International “Street Cred” has been tarnished beyond repair after the abysmal consequences, as regards the stability of the Middle East, of  his failed Foreign Policy of “Smart Power!”

The terrifying results of Obama’s attempt at “Community Organizing” the Muslim World, including the lost of life of both innocent civilians and of America’s Brightest and best, which has dwarfed the war casualties which occurred under his predecessor, President George W. Bush, now have begun to arrive at our own shores, with Korans and prayer rugs being found at our open Southern Border, honor killings and attacks by Radical Muslims, labelled as “work place violence” by the Obama Administration. and 10,000 “refugee” being transported to our cities by President Barack Hussein Obama, himself.

It is time for America to stop being the world’s  “Community Organizer”.

It is time to put  America First, which does not include welcoming our enemies into our Sovereign Country.

The list of Obama and his Secretaries of State’s Foreign Policy Failures is long…and embarrassing.

Here is a list of the Foreign Policy Failures which happened in the Middle East, in no particular order:

The decision to overthrow President Gaddafi in Libya – The short-sighted, ill-conceived action not only undermined an ally in the (now defunct) “Global War on Terror,” it also served to throw gasoline on the bonfire known as “Arab Spring”.

President Ronald Reagan had a missile fired into Gaddafi’s bedroom, resulting in him keeping quiet for 25 years. Just sayin’…

The Afghanistan “surge”- A military campaign that fails to result in a desired political outcome is con only be considered a failure. What exactly was Obama and Hillary’s desired outcome when they called for this?

It is a fait d’accompli that the Karzai Government will not be able to survive long once the U.S. completes its withdrawal of its combat forces from the country in 2014. This is can only be considered a failure, A failure which cost too many of our Brightest and Best.

Granting Afghanistan major non-NATO U.S. ally status – Why did Barry and Hill decide to grant Afghanistan the status of a major non-NATO ally? When we pull out, our enemies will pour in. And, with “friends” like these, you don’t need enemies.

Maintaining the status quo with Pakistan – Pakistan has a long history of sponsoring Sunni jihadists of various stripes. Following the 2001 attacks on the United States, they did an about-face, becoming a chief partner in the U.S. military campaign in Afghanistan as well as its “global war on terror.”

10 years later, following the successful May 2011 raid in Abbottabad, Pakistan that resulted in the death of Al-Qaeda founder Osama bin Laden, Pakistan promptly denounced the U.S. and closed its vital supply routes to NATO-bound shipments to Afghanistan.
Hil and Barry got “played”.

Arab Spring – The Arab Spring was a series of protests and uprisings in the Middle East that began with unrest in Tunisia in late 2010. The Arab Spring has brought down regimes in some Arab countries, sparked mass violence in others, while some governments managed to delay the trouble with a mix of repression, promise of reform and state largesse.

Through this all Obama and his Administration have backed the Muslim Brotherhood, the Godfather of Muslim Terrorist Organizations, in deposing Moderate Muslim Leaders.

Doesn’t make a while lot of sense, does it?

BenghaziGate – On September 11, 2012, Muslim Terrorists stormed the US Embassy Compound in Benghazi, Libya, slaughtered 4 brave Americans, including US Ambassador Chris Stephens, whose lifeless, sexually assaulted body they drug through the streets, while taking cell phone pictures of his corpse.

I have written several blogs about the Administration’s Cover-up of this atrocity, but the seminal moment, regarding Hillary Clinton came in January of 2013, during an exchange between her and Sen. Ron Johnson of Wisconsin at a Foreign Relations Committee hearing.

Johnson asked her about the administration’s conflicting explanations for the Sept. 11 attack on the U.S. Consulate in Benghazi, Libya, which killed the ambassador and three other Americans. Hillary, as we say down here in Dixie, “got on her high keys” and said,

With all due respect, the fact is we had four dead Americans. Was it because of a protest or was it because just a bunch of regular guys, out for a walk one night, decided to go kill some Americans? What difference at this point does it make? It is our job to figure out what happened and do everything we can to prevent it from ever happening again, Senator.

So, here we are, about to start a chapter in our nation’s history, under an AMERICAN PRESIDENT- ELECT, who actually recognizes his duty to keep our country and its people safe from enemies, foreign and domestic.

And, the Liberals writing for the Washington Post are concerned that he might have “too many military men” on his Cabinet?

Heck, this American would rather have a cabinet full of our Brightest and Best and Corporate Executives, who actually know how the Real World operates, than one like our Present Resident,  Petulant President Pantywaist’s, which is full of egotistical snobs and politically-chosen yes men.

I feel safer already.

What About the Fact That Trump Has a “Mandate” Don’t the MSM and the Rest of the Tantrum Throwers Understand?

relax-guys-600-la

Vice-President-elect Mike Pence gave an address in the ballroom of the Trump International Hotel in Washington, D.C. yesterday.

The Washington Post reports that

Vice president-elect Mike Pence claimed Tuesday night that President-elect Donald Trump has a “mandate” to lead the country, as he ticked through a long list of conservative priorities for the new administration in what he vowed would be a busy first few months in office.

In a speech inside a hotel ballroom at the new Trump International Hotel just blocks from the White House, Pence vowed that the new team will quickly embark on a to-do list that includes repealing and replacing the federal health-care law, beefing up national defense and nominating a staunchly conservative Supreme Court justice.

In delivering his remarks, the Indiana governor and former congressman seemed to be seeking to reassure his audience that Trump would consistently govern with their policy interests in mind. Trump’s lack of government experience has raised some questions about what his style will be like in the White House and whether it will be a dramatic departure from previous Republican presidents.

“We truly believe that our president-elect has secured a mandate for leadership,” said Pence. He spoke to a dinnertime audience of wealthy donors to the Heritage Foundation, a conservative think tank.

Emphasizing that the organization’s input would be valued, he said, “I want to assure all of you who are the patrons of the Heritage Foundation that this administration has already, is now and will continue to draw on [the group’s] intellectual resources and creativity.”

Currently, Democrat Hillary Clinton is ahead of Trump in the popular vote by more than 2.6 million votes, though Trump won more electoral votes. Her lead, and lingering signs of political divisions across the country that have emerged since the election, have raised questions about what level of national support Trump will have when he takes office.

But Pence, who was on Capitol Hill meeting with Republican senators earlier Tuesday, said the new administration is ready to deliver on the promises that Trump made during the campaign.

“It was a victory that was born of ideas,” he said.

The federal health-care law would be repealed and Republicans will be “starting the process of replacing” it “with free market solutions,” Pence said. He said Trump would appoint a conservative justice “in the tradition” of the late Justice Antonin Scalia. He declared “the Obama era of weakening our national defenses is over.”

Before the spring arrives, “we’re going to cut taxes across the board,” Pence said.

Pence also praised Trump for his role in a deal with furnace and air-conditioner manufacturer Carrier to keep about 800 jobs in the United States. Trump repeatedly called out Carrier during the campaign for moving some jobs to Mexico.

The deal Carrier reached drew criticism from some conservatives who branded it “crony capitalism.” Pence sought to assure the crowd that he and Trump “believe fervently in the free market.”

Toward the end of his speech, Pence singled out former presidential candidate Carly Fiorina for praise. After he acknowledged her presence at the dinner, the crowd rose to its feet to applaud her.

Pence repeatedly praised the Heritage Foundation, which is headed by former South Carolina senator Jim DeMint. Edward Feulner, the former president of the Heritage Foundation, has been working on Trump’s transition team.

Pence wrapped up his address by reminding the audience the new administration and the new Republican Congress will have a lot to do in 2017.

“We’ve got work to do. Enjoy your dinner. Then roll your sleeves up,” he said.

Gentle Reader, did you notice in the above article, the obvious Liberal Bias of the Washington Post?

I underlined the paragraph which exposes their bias for all to see.

The Post, like the rest of the participants in the National Temper Tantrum that Modern American Liberals are presently throwing, keep on bringing up the fact that Clinton received more popular votes that President-elect Trump did.

Big whoop.

We are a Constitutional Republic. We are not a Democracy.

The Godfather of Conservative Talk Radio, Rush Limbaugh, recently explained the reaction of those Democrats who are still looking for some sort of loophole in our Electoral College System and those who cannot grasp why it was put in place..

The understanding of it is in a more proper education for young people about civics and about the kind of country we are and the founding and the Constitution, and it simply isn’t taught.  So in a sense, you can’t blame them.  They’re simply relying on what they think makes emotional sense, psychological sense.  “Somebody got more votes than somebody else! Why didn’t they win?  Doesn’t make sense.  I mean, if the Yankees score more runs than the Orioles, they win the game.” It doesn’t compute for them.

They’re comparing apples to oranges and don’t know it, because we do not have a democracy.  It’s not what we have.  We have a representative republic and therefore the rules and regulations that have been written to maintain it are not truly democratic — not purely democratic — in origin.  They are about protecting and defending the establishment of this republic. (interruption) Well, the reason more people aren’t complaining is ’cause they instinctively know the Electoral College is justified and right.

…Let’s say that these people succeed in getting 37 electors to not vote for Trump, and that means Trump doesn’t get 270. Okay, then what happens?

Well, it doesn’t mean Hillary wins.

It means the election… If nobody gets 270, despite the fact that these states have certified, this means that the election will go to the House of Representatives.  The Republicans control both the House and the Senate.  So theoretically, the House would elect Trump and the Senate would elect Pence.  But (chuckles) how many Republicans are faking this adulation and support they have for Trump right now? How many are going along just to go along?  How many of them privately still seething. How many of them still hate the guy? How many?

We don’t know.  But let’s not go there. Let’s assume Trump wins the vote in the House, Pence wins the vote in the Senate and is still president.  So you ask yourself, “Why do this then? Why go through all this? Why deny Trump the Electoral College if he’s gonna end up being president anyway?”  This is where you have to understand the left, because then the scenario that they would begin talking about endlessly (sobbing): “Trump lost the popular vote! He didn’t win the Electoral College and his buddies in the House conspired to make him president!

“He’s not elected. He’s been forced on us! He’s not legitimate. We don’t have to do one thing Trump says,” and it would be a continuation of what they’ve already started, and that is an effort to portray Trump — his election as illegitimate, a violation of the law — and his presidency as illegitimate.  That’s the objective here.  I mean, they may actually think they can get Hillary elected here.  I mean, deranged people everywhere, and there may be in this bunch some people actually think they can succeed in getting Hillary to win it.  But the overall objective is to give the Democrat Party strength, resolve, and energy to oppose anything and everything Trump does.  Because he’s not legitimately elected.  That’s what this is ultimately about.

As I have stated before,  the Electoral College was put in place to prevent what the Liberals are now trying to accomplish. Which is choosing a President based on the favored Political Ideology of isolated Metropolitan Areas with dense populations.

The Democrats, as a result of their own regional bias toward the major metropolitan areas on the East and West Coasts, which has been obvious to average Americans for the last several decades, effectively divorced themselves from the people whom they claimed in every previous election cycle to “love”…Average Working Class Americans.

To put it in Marital Terms, Average Working Class Americans and the Democratic Party are no longer “evenly yoked”.

The Democrats became the party of the “Upper Crust” and Special Interest Groups, who look down their noses at Americans who live here in “Flyover Country”.

The Democrats assumed, after reading their own press clippings, that all Americans wanted the Progressive/Marxist Political Ideology and style of governance which Barack Hussein Obama practiced during his time as President.

Well, we all know what assuming does, don’t we, boys and girls?

The American People overthrew the “Tyranny of the Minority”, which we have suffered under for the last 8 years on November 8th.

The post placed the word “mandate”, which Pence used , in quotes, as a form of derision.

The Oxford Dictionaries define the word “mandate” as

the authority to carry out a policy or course of action, regarded as given by the electorate to a candidate or party that is victorious in an election.

Guess what, Washington Post and the rest of you still throwing a National Temper Tantrum?

Trump won! Therefore, he does have a mandate.

It is to MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN.

Enjoy the ride.

Until He Comes,

As the Dem’s National Temper Tantrum Continues, Trump Remains President-elect

1478683387-41f06699e2ad4f92bf707bca219ab0db-1038x576

Pride goes before destruction, and a haughty spirit before a fall. – Proverbs 16:18 (ESV)

Recently, Breitbart.com reported that

Donald Trump won an overwhelming 7.5 million popular vote victory in 3,084 of the country’s 3,141 counties or county equivalents in America’s heartland.
Fifty-five point seven million out of the 109.3 million Americans who cast their ballots in those counties voted for Trump, while only 48.1 million voted for Hillary Clinton, according to the latest county by county election results reported at Politico. The remaining 5.4 million voted for other candidates.

Trump’s 7.5 million popular vote landslide in America’s heartland, a resounding 7 point victory in those 3,084 counties over Clinton, 51 percent to 44 percent, gave him a 306 to 232 Electoral College landslide. (On Monday night, the director of elections in the office of Michigan’s Secretary of State said that Trump had won the state’s 16 electoral college votes by a narrow margin of 13,107 votes.)

Hillary Clinton, in contrast, had an 8.2 million vote margin in a narrow band of 52 coastal counties and five “county equivalent” cities stretching from San Diego to Seattle on the West Coast and Northern Virginia to Boston on the East Coast. That narrow band included two major cities–Washington, D.C and Baltimore, Maryland–included in the five “county equivalent” cities, and three major cities–Philadelphia, New York, and Boston–which are included in the 52 counties.

Clinton received 70 percent of the 18.4 million votes cast in these 52 elite coastal counties. Donald Trump, in contrast, received only 25 percent of the vote in these counties. The remaining 5 percent went to other candidates.

In elite coastal county after elite coastal county, especially those in Washington, D.C. and its Virginia and Maryland suburbs where so many federal government workers and federal contractors live, Clinton won by margins ranging from four to one to two to one.

Votes cast in the 52 elite coastal counties where Clinton dominated accounted for only 14.4 percent of the estimated 127.7 million total votes cast in the country.

In contrast, the 3,084 counties in America’s heartland, where Trump dominated with a healthy 7 point margin, accounted for 85.6 percent of all votes cast.

Clinton’s 671,066 popular vote margin across the entire country, 61,047,027 votes to Donald Trump’s 60,375,961 votes (according to Politico’s election results website as of Tuesday morning) arose from this huge advantage wracked up in these elite coastal counties.

Clinton received 47.7 percent of theestimated 127.7 million votes cast nationwide, while Trump received 47.2 percent of those votes. Five percent went to other candidates.

Trump campaigned very little in the 23 elite coastal counties in the West Coast states of California, Oregon, and Washington, and only vigorously campaigned in five Northern Virginia counties and Philadelphia on the East Coast.

It is worth noting that virtually all members of the mainstream media reside within this narrow band of elite coastal counties.

Clinton won the 161 electoral college votes in nine of these ten states, as well in the District of Columbia. Among these ten states, Trump won only Pennsylvania and its 20 electoral college votes.

But these nine states experienced the same kind of bimodal divide seen in the rest of the country.

In eight of these nine states (all but Massachusetts) Trump was tied or slightly ahead of Clinton in the popular vote in those counties outside the coastal elite.

Here is the full list of these 52 elite coastal counties:

(California: Alameda, Contra Costa, Humboldt, Los Angeles, Marin, Mendocino, Monterey, Napa, Sacramento, San Diego, San Francisco, San Luis Obispo, San Mateo, Santa Barbara, Santa Clara, Santa Cruz, Solano, Sonoma, and Ventura; Oregon: Multnomah and Washington; Washington: King and Snohomish; Virginia: Arlington, Fairfax, Loudoun, and Prince William (and the cities of Alexandria, Fairfax, and Falls Church); Washington, D.C.; Maryland: Baltimore, Charles, Howard, Montgomery, and Prince George’s (and the city of Baltimore); Pennsylvania: Delaware and Philadelphia; New Jersey: Essex, Hudson, Mercer, Middlesex, Passaic, and Union; New York: Bronx, Kings, New York, Queens, and Westchester; Connecticut: Fairfield, Hartford, and New Haven; andMassachusetts: Essex, Middlesex, Norfolk, and Suffolk.)

All of the above information is absolutely true, and yet, those on the Left of the Political Spectrum who voted for Hillary Clinton to be our next President of the United States of America, including college students, celebrities, and grown people who should know better, continue to throw the longest temper tantrum over the results of one of tbe biggest upsets in an American Presidential Election that the world has ever seen.

These self-proclaimed activists, both those who have been paid through George Soros and the many tentacles of his political organizations, and those who are just doing it because they did not get their way, including Jill Stein and Hillary Clinton, are making a lie out of the claim that they have made for years that they are the most tolerant among us.

In fact, these sore losers remind me of the hyterically sobbing children that you hear in every Walmart across the country.

It’s not that those children are crying because they are physically hurt. Just like the Democrats, they’re crying because they did not get their way.

This epic meltdown by the Democrats that the whole world is witnessing is a direct result of an underestimation by the same Democrats of the American People’s desire to rid ourselves of those in the Halls of Power who told us repeatedly that they knew what was best for us and “who we were” while their actual mission was to turn America into a Third-World Barrio in their quest to make us a Socialist Paradise.

All during the Presidential Campaign, the Democrats, through their minions in the Main Stream Media, assured us that it was a foregone conclusion that Hillary Clinton would be our 45th president.

There is a reason for that.

The Democratic Elite have always believed that our country revolves around the big metropolitan areas in the Northeast and in California. They have always looked down their noses at what they derisively call “Flyover Country”, the same area that many of us call the Heartland of America or simply “home”.

This meltdown which has lasted just short of a month is a reaction caused by their own unbridled and unsupported arrogance.

The Modern American Liberals who are running the Democratic Party never saw Trump’s victory coming.

At this point, all their national temper tantrum is doing, is making them look like fools.

Perhaps, if they had not waged war against Christianity in public places in America over the last 8 years, they could have picked up a Bible placed by the Gideons in their hotel rooms and read the story of David and Goliath.

That was an “upset win”, also.

Pelosi Doesn’t Think “People Want a New Direction”. …She Doesn’t Think.

ftn-pelosi-1204The recently re-elected Minority Leader of the House of Representatives is nutter than a Christmas Fruitcake.

The New York Post reports that

Nancy Pelosi just gave Republicans another reason for celebration. The newly elected Minority Leader insisted Sunday Dems aren’t looking for a “new direction” even after the bruising Election Day defeats and a GOP monopoly in Washington.

A defiant — and possibly delusional — Pelosi stood firm about her party’s future when pressed with what she’ll do differently to deal with Democrat discontent.

“I don’t think people want a new direction,” Pelosi told CBS’s “Face the Nation.” “Our values unify us and our values are about supporting America’s working families.”

Pelosi was reelected Democratic Leader last week after a surprising challenge from Ohio Rep. Tim Ryan who argued Dems must do more to speak to working class voters in the rust belt and not just coastal liberal elites. Pelosi batted back the threat to her reign with 134-63 vote win, and has since downplayed the dire straits for the Democratic Party as cyclical changes.

“Let me just put that in perspective,” Pelosi said. “When President Clinton was elected, Republicans came in big in the next election. When President Bush was president, we came in big in the subsequent election. When President Obama became president, the Republicans came in big in the next election.”

And losing the White House and control of Congress, she says, has a silver lining – because jobless DC Dems will go back to their home states to run for governor, state seats and build up the bench.

“The states receive an infusion of talent,” Pelosi said. “President Obama, going out the office, sadly not having President Clinton come in. But those Democrats will go back, run for governor, run for congress, state legislatures, and the rest, and we will build up the numbers.”

Pelosi has led the Democratic caucus for 14 years and became the first female House speaker in 2007. Republicans were mockingly advocating for her to win the leadership election again because she’s been “great” for the GOP.

“I’m rooting for Nancy!,” GOP Majority Leader Kevin McCarthy said last week. “She may have more support in our conference than her own conference.”

The word “delusional” does not even begin to cover San Fran Nan’s illogical statement.

Nancy Pelosi’s station in life defies logic.

That has to be the most tone deaf statement made about a nation’s people since Maria Antoinette, when supposedly asked about the starving rabble in France, quipped,

Let them eat cake!

For her to completely ignore the Historic Results of the Presidential Election held on November 8th, 2016, which saw an American Businessman and Entrepreneur, a novice to the Political Game, defeat a woman who has been in politics just about all of her adult life, does not just “strain” credulity…it stomps that sucker flat.

There are two possibilities for Pelosi’s miss judgment of the American People:

  1. She has been so sheltered from us “rabble” during all of those years up on Capitol Hill, that she simply is clueless to the daily lives of average Americans and how we feel on the issues of the day. Or…
  2. She is a victim of galloping dementia.

The brilliant Conservative Economist, Dr. Thomas Sowell once wrote,

…Perhaps the most remarkable feature of the world envisioned by today’s liberals is that it is a world where other people just passively accept whatever “change” liberals impose. In the world of Liberal Land, you can just take for granted all the benefits of the existing society, and then simply tack on your new, wonderful ideas that will make things better.

Liberal Ideas always cost taxpayer money…and they never make things better for the average American.

President Ronald Reagan once famously said,

It isn’t so much that liberals are ignorant. It’s just that they know so many things that aren’t so.

A quotation which also helps to explain Pelosi’s gross overestimation of the popularity of Liberal Ideals among Average Americans here in “Flyover Country”.

Pelosi’s denial of the fact that Americans voted for change appears to be a part of an alternative reality that she and the rest of the “Special Snowflakes” who voted for Hillary Clinton and who compose the Far Left Base of the Modern Democratic Party, seem to have transported themselves into, upon hearing of Donald J. Trump’s victory in last month’s Presidential Election.

The pain of their frustration is so immense over Clinton’s loss that they have created a reality in which Clinton beat Trump, having won the hearts and minds of the American People.

Their undersized medulla oblongotas and oversized craniums will not allow them to accept the fact that Americans completely rejected their candidate, Hillary Clinton, and their Political Ideology on that fateful day in November.

So, they have retreated to that alternative reality, where they can feed and ride their unicorns somewhere over the rainbow and where they will find rest in their “Safe Space”.

Let them stay there.

The men and women of this nation, after 8 long, arduous years, finally, once again have an American President.

The time to “Make American Great Again” is at hand.

Until He Comes,

MSM’s Knickers in a Twist Over Trump Calling Foreign Leaders (It’s Almost as if He’s the President-Elect or Sumpin’.)

derangement-600ab-la

Once again, the hand-wringing Pajamaboy (and girl) Liberals in the Main Stream Media are positively apoplectic over something that President-elect Donald J. Trump has done.

His latest “crime”?

He has dared to contact World Leaders to start the foundation of relationships which will , in his opinion, strength our place among the World’s Nations.

The following is an article which appears in The New York Times titled “How Trump’s Calls to World Leaders Are Upsetting Decades of Diplomacy”…

President-elect Donald J. Trump has broken with decades of diplomatic practice in freewheeling calls with foreign leaders. Dec. 2

Mr. Trump talks to the president of Taiwan, becoming the first U.S. president or president-elect to do so since 1979.
Why it matters
The call with President Tsai Ing-wen risks infuriating China, which considers Taiwan a breakaway province governed by Chinese rebels. By honoring the Taiwanese president with a formal call, Mr. Trump’s transition team implicitly suggests that it considers Taiwan an independent state. The U.S. has declined to recognize Taiwan since 1979, when it shifted recognition to the government in Beijing. Taiwan itself has yet to declare formal independence. Mr. Trump tweeted, “The President of Taiwan CALLED ME today to wish me congratulations on winning the Presidency.”

Mr. Trump invites Rodrigo Duterte, president of the Philippines, to visit Washington.
Why it matters
Mr. Duterte has been accused of gross human rights abuses, referred to President Obama as a “son of a bitch” and declared his country’s “separation” from the U.S. during a recent trip to Beijing. (The Trump transition team has not confirmed the invitation, which was reported by Reuters, citing a Philippine government official.) Honoring Mr. Duterte with a presidential invitation implies U.S. approval of his behavior, which Mr. Obama’s administration had been working to curb.

Mr. Trump praises Kazakhstan’s leader for “fantastic success.”
Why it matters
Mr. Trump praised Nursultan A. Nazarbayev, the president of Kazakhstan since 1991, in tones that suggest approval for Mr. Nazarbayev’s strongman rule. According to the Kazakh government’s readout of the call, Mr. Trump “stressed that under the leadership of Nursultan Nazarbayev, our country over the years of independence had achieved fantastic success that can be called a ‘miracle.’”

Mr. Trump accepts an invitation to visit Pakistan, “a terrific country.”
Why it matters
Pakistani Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif invited Mr. Trump to visit, according to a Pakistani government readout of their call. Should Mr. Trump follow through, he risks alienating India, which sees Pakistan as a major antagonist, and appearing to reward Pakistan’s behavior; should he renege, he risks upsetting Pakistani leaders who are sensitive about perceived American intransigence. Either way, the call could upset the delicate balance of India-Pakistan ties, which the U.S. has struggled to manage amid a history of wars and recent skirmishes.

Ivanka Trump joins a meeting with the Japanese prime minister.
Why it matters
Rather than inviting State Department officials to staff his meeting with Shinzo Abe, Japan’s prime minister, Mr. Trump invited his daughter Ivanka. The meeting alarmed diplomats, who worried that Mr. Trump lacked preparation after a long record of criticizing Japan. It also blurred the line between Mr. Trump’s businesses, which Ms. Trump helps run, and the U.S. government, with which she has no role.

After brushing off the United Kingdom, Mr. Trump offers a casual invitation to the British prime minister.
Why it matters
Mr. Trump spoke to nine other leaders before British Prime Minister Theresa May, an unusual break with the two countries’ long-standing special relationship. “If you travel to the US you should let me know,” he told her, far short of a formal invitation.Trump also met with Nigel Farage, former leader of the fringe U.K. Independence Party — a slap to Ms. May. He later said that Mr. Farage should become the British ambassador to the United States, though presidents typically avoid telling foreign counterparts how to staff their governments.

What the Liberal Media are not talking about is the reason that Trump is already working on setting his Foreign Policy in motion.

That reason is the failure of the ineffectual Foreign Policy over the last 8 years, courtesy of the Empty Suit in the White House that Trump is replacing.

Nature abhors a vacuum, as evidenced, by the escalation in violent world events, especially in the Islamic world.

And the vacuum that has nature particularly ticked off right now, is the empty suit that sits behind the desk in the Oval Office in Washington, DC.

Before Barack Hussein Obama (mm mmm mmmm) ascended to the throne of The Regime, he did something no other candidate for American President has ever done.  He campaigned in Europe, where he was treated like a rock star, by both the Europeans and the sycophantic Main Stream Media.  This set the stage for Obama’s Foreign Policy efforts as President.

There have been so many issues that have weakened America on the world stage as Obama has pursued his Foreign Policy, it’s hard to know where to begin.  Come along as I try to relate a few high (low?) points.

1.  The World Apology Tour – Shortly after he took office, President Obama set off for the first of a two-part “World Apology Tour”.   After less than 100 days, he had apologized on three continents for what he viewed as the sins of America and previous presidents.

Per Karl Rove:

Mr. Obama told the French (the French!) that America “has shown arrogance and been dismissive, even derisive” toward Europe.  In Prague, he said America has “a moral responsibility to act” on arms control because only the U.S. had “used a nuclear weapon.” In London, he said that decisions about the world financial system were no longer made by “just Roosevelt and Churchill sitting in a room with a brandy” — as if that were a bad thing. And in Latin America, he said the U.S. had not “pursued and sustained engagement with our neighbors” because we “failed to see that our own progress is tied directly to progress throughout the Americas.”

By apologizing to the world, then- White House Press Secretary Robert “Baghdad Bob” Gibbs said that Scooter had “changed the image of America around the world” and made the U.S. “safer and stronger.”

Having the British call him “President Pantywaist” made us “safer and stronger”?

2.  Global War on Terror –  In a memo e-mailed the week of March 25th, 2009, in the middle of the World Apology Tour, to Pentagon staff members, the Defense Department’s office of security review proclaimed that “this administration prefers to avoid using the term ‘Long War’ or ‘Global War on Terror’ [GWOT.] Please use ‘Overseas Contingency Operation.’ ”  And so it began.

On Thursday, June 4th, 2009 at the University of Cairo, Obama addressed the Muslim World.  Here is an excerpt from the 6:35 a.m. speech:

Islam has a proud tradition of tolerance. We see it in the history of Andalusia and Cordoba during the Inquisition. I saw it firsthand as a child in Indonesia, where devout Christians worshiped freely in an overwhelmingly Muslim country. That is the spirit we need today. People in every country should be free to choose and live their faith-based lives upon the persuasion of the mind, heart, and soul. This tolerance is essential for religion to thrive, but it is being challenged in many different ways.

Among some Muslims, there is a disturbing tendency to measure one’s own faith by the rejection of another’s. The richness of religious diversity must be upheld – whether it is for Maronites in Lebanon or the Copts in Egypt. And fault lines must be closed among Muslims as well, as the divisions between Sunni and Shia have led to tragic violence, particularly in Iraq.

Freedom of religion is central to the ability of peoples to live together. We must always examine the ways in which we protect it. For instance, in the United States, rules on charitable giving have made it harder for Muslims to fulfill their religious obligation. That is why I am committed to working with American Muslims to ensure that they can fulfill zakat.

Likewise, it is important for Western countries to avoid impeding Muslim citizens from practicing religion as they see fit – for instance, by dictating what clothes a Muslim woman should wear. We cannot disguise hostility towards any religion behind the pretence of liberalism.

Scooter believed that by reaching out to the Muslim world through changing and softening our terminology as it pertained to the Jihad declared against the United States by Muslim Extremists, his administration would make huge inroads in America’s relationship with the Islamic World.  After 8 long years, it has done nothing but encourage our enemies, as evidenced by the increasing number of attacks by Muslim Extremists here in our country.

3.  Smart Power! – At her confirmation hearing before the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, Secretary of State nominee Hillary Clinton said:

We must use what has been called smart power, the full range of tools at our disposal—diplomatic, economic, military, political, legal, and cultural—picking the right tool, or combination of tools, for each situation. With smart power, diplomacy will be the vanguard of our foreign policy. This is not a radical idea. The ancient Roman poet Terence declared that “in every endeavor, the seemly course for wise men is to try persuasion first.” The same truth binds wise women as well.

Excessive humility has never been one of Hil’s problems.

Of course, Smart Power led to Arab Spring, which replaced Moderate Muslim Dictators, with Radical Muslim Dictators, backed by the Muslim Brotherhood. Great plan, y’all.

4.  Afghanistan – When Obama took office, he announced that Afghanistan was the true center of extremist activities.  He then told us that the Overseas Contingency Operation would be making a hard pivot from the main focus being on Iran to the main focus being on Afghanistan.  From there, he decided that the mountainous country of Pakistan (pronounced by the president, Pock-ee-stahn) was where all the truly evil Extremists were hiding.  He had two problems with this strategy:  the mountainous geography and unfriendly government of  Pock-ee-stahn.  Obama was advised by his military advisors that the best strategy was to use unmanned drones to attack Taliban (pronounced Tawl-ee-bohn by Obama) strongholds.  While the drones were very successful in killing members of the Tawl-ee-bohn, they have occasionally killed civilians as well.   That did not endeared us to that country’s government. Obama subsequently pulled out the majority of troops in Afghanistan, only recently to have had to send troops back in again.

While no President can control the actions of other countries come in their own affairs, the position of President of the United States has not historically been referred to as the Leader of the Free World for no reason.

That position has historically Ben the Vanguard in the fight against despotism and tyranny.

Unfortunately, for lovers of freedom the world over, instead of being the leader that the world and America itself needed, Barack Hussein Obama has instead been an example of the Peter Principle.

He rose quickly to his level of incompetence.

It is time to try a new and better approach.

A strong American President is essential to retaining the sovereignty of our country.

As a 22-year old College Senior, I was privileged to cast my first-ever vote in a National Election. That vote took place in November of 1980, and it was for the greatest American President in my lifetime, Ronald Wilson Reagan.

The popularity of President Reagan was not just limited to the boundaries of our nation. He was admired the world over. The things that he accomplished, along with his friends, Prime Minister of Britain Margaret Thatcher, Soviet Premier Mikhail Gorbachev, and Pope John Paul II, have caused the decade of the 1980s to be recorded as a seminal moment in world history.

I remember watching President Reagan speak at the Berlin Wall. When he said, “Mr Gorbachev tear down this wall!”, I was never prouder to be an American and of an American president, than at that moment.

Liberals, around the world, lost their collective minds.

For you see, Liberal Politicians and Political Pundits, just as they do now, hate it when Marxism gives way to Freedom.

Nothing bothers them more than when a strong American President is at the forefront of a conquering moment, when a strong foreign policy is based on the reality that negotiating from a position of strength is always more effective than negotiating from a position of weakness.

America must have a president who will man up and negotiate from a position of strength with both our friends and our enemies.

Ronald Reagan, when he was “out on the stump” for Republican Presidential Candidate Barry Goldwater, in October of 1964, delivered a powerful speech titled, “A Time for Choosing”. At one point in that now-classic speech, he spoke about America’s role in the world, stating that

We cannot buy our security, our freedom from the threat of the bomb by committing an immorality so great as saying to a billion human beings now enslaved behind the Iron Curtain, “Give up your dreams of freedom because to save our own skins, we’re willing to make a deal with your slave masters.” Alexander Hamilton said, “A nation which can prefer disgrace to danger is prepared for a master, and deserves one.” Now let’s set the record straight. There’s no argument over the choice between peace and war, but there’s only one guaranteed way you can have peace — and you can have it in the next second — surrender.

…You and I know and do not believe that life is so dear and peace so sweet as to be purchased at the price of chains and slavery. If nothing in life is worth dying for, when did this begin — just in the face of this enemy? Or should Moses have told the children of Israel to live in slavery under the pharaohs? Should Christ have refused the cross? Should the patriots at Concord Bridge have thrown down their guns and refused to fire the shot heard ’round the world? The martyrs of history were not fools, and our honored dead who gave their lives to stop the advance of the Nazis didn’t die in vain. Where, then, is the road to peace? Well it’s a simple answer after all.

You and I have the courage to say to our enemies, “There is a price we will not pay.” “There is a point beyond which they must not advance.” And this — this is the meaning in the phrase of Barry Goldwater’s “peace through strength.” Winston Churchill said, “The destiny of man is not measured by material computations. When great forces are on the move in the world, we learn we’re spirits — not animals.” And he said, “There’s something going on in time and space, and beyond time and space, which, whether we like it or not, spells duty.”

Foreign Leaders, who like the advantage that they have gained, under the weak and vacillating Foreign Policy of Barack Hussein Obama, did not want the United States to regain our position as the Leader of the Free World.

That is one reason that they funneled money into the Pay-For-Play Money Laundering Scheme known as the Clinton Foundation.

That is why they fear a Trump Presidency.

It is far more lucrative for them, when the United States “negotiates from a position of weakness”.

They did not want to negotiate with an American President who was a master at “The Art of the Deal”.

So, let the apologizing Globalists in the Democratic Party and their Propaganda Department, known as the Main Stream Media, continue to voice their “concern” over the actions that he is taking to “MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN”.

Americans did not listen to them on November 8th.

What makes them think that we will listen to them now?

Until He Comes,
