The Russia-Trump Collusion Fable: Of Comey, Clinton, and Crybabies

No-Fire-600a-CI

In an article first posted on November 12, 2016, Foxnews.com reported that

Hillary Clinton has offered a couple of private but candid explanations about why she lost her White House bid, telling high-dollar fundraisers Saturday that FBI announcements about a second probe into her emails from her time as secretary of state were too damaging.

Clinton said, “Our analysis is that Comey’s letter raised doubts that were groundless and baseless…” and “stopped our momentum,” a DNC fundraising source who was on the call told Fox News.

Clinton made the remark on a roughly 30-minute conference call with Democrats who raised more than $100,000, according to Politico.

The former State Department leader lost in a surprising defeat to Republican nominee Donald Trump — a first-time candidate who essentially trailed in almost every major poll for the entire campaign.

FBI Director James Comey told Congress in an Oct. 30 letter that the agency was looking at emails found in an unrelated case that could be related to a closed FBI case specifically about the Clinton emails.

Clinton suggested her campaign’s internal poll numbers plunged after the letter but nevertheless rebounded, a person on the Saturday call told Politico.

However, she said the second Comey letter, three days before Election Day, saying that she had essentially been cleared in the unrelated case, awakened Trump voters.

The FBI investigated Clinton using a private email server system while secretary of state. Comey said some of the emails included classified information and that she was “extremely careless” in her action. But he concluded the case in July without recommending criminal charges.

Clinton on Thursday told her campaign staff that she had “stepped in it” by saying half of Trump’s supporters were “deplorables,” according to The New York Times.

She and her campaign essentially defended the remark by saying she regretted saying “half” of the supporters were “racist, sexist, homophobic, xenophobic, Islamophobic” people.

Now, four months later, Foxnews.com reports that

FBI Director James Comey will enter the House hearing Monday on Russian activities during the presidential election as an imposing figure in many ways — standing 6-foot-8 and having been at the center of numerous, high-profile criminal probes.

His law-enforcement career began in the late 1980s. His relatively short time as head of the FBI includes his decision in July 2016 to investigate Hillary Clinton’s use of private email servers as secretary of state. The agency concluded the probe roughly three months later without recommending criminal charges, but it was considered a severe blow to Clinton’s ultimately failed White House bid.

Comey, a former registered Republican, was appointed in 2013 by then-President Obama to run the FBI.

As a U.S. attorney for the Southern District of New York in the early 2000s, he prosecuted businesswoman Martha Stewart, who was convicted in 2004 in connection with stock deals and sentenced to five months in prison.

He also helped prosecute the Gambino crime family when he previously worked in that office, from roughly 1987 to 1993.

Comey also supported federal agents who sought felony charges in 2015 against then-CIA Director David Petraeus, related to his mishandling of classified information.

Comey was appointed by the George W. Bush administration to the position of deputy attorney general, responsible for overseeing Justice Department operations. (He has insisted the FBI is apolitical in its investigations.)

He left the Justice Department in 2005 to become a vice president and general counsel for defense contractor Lockheed Martin through 2010. He then joined the Connecticut-based hedge fund Bridgewater Associates before leaving in 2013 to teach at Columbia Law School in New York City.

Comey was born in Yonkers, N.Y., attended the College of William and Mary and earned a law degree from the University of Chicago. He is married with five children.

About this Democrat accusation of collusion between Trump and the “Russkies”…

Glenn Greenwald wrote in an article posted on March 16th that

For so long, Democrats demonized and smeared anyone trying to inject basic reason, rationality, and skepticism into this Trump/Russia discourse by labeling them all Kremlin agents and Putin lovers. Just this week, the Center for American Progress released a report using the language of treason to announce the existence of a “Fifth Column” in the U.S. that serves Russia (similar to Andrew Sullivan’s notorious 2001 decree that anyone opposing the war on terror composed an anti-American “Fifth Column”), while John McCain listened to Rand Paul express doubts about the wisdom of NATO further expanding to include Montenegro and then promptly announced: “Paul is working for Vladimir Putin.”

But with serious doubts — and fears — now emerging about what the Democratic base has been led to believe by self-interested carnival barkers and partisan hacks, there is a sudden, concerted effort to rein in the excesses of this story. With so many people now doing this, it will be increasingly difficult to smear them all as traitors and Russian loyalists, but it may be far too little, too late, given the pitched hysteria that has been deliberately cultivated around these issues for months. Many Democrats have reached the classic stage of deranged conspiracists where evidence that disproves the theory is viewed as further proof of its existence, and those pointing to it are instantly deemed suspect.

FBI Director Comey’s second investigation of Clinton’s e-mails is not the reason that Hillary Clinton does not occupy the Oval Office.

Neither are the Russians.

Hillary Clinton, as shown by her “sound bites’, before, during, and after 2016’s history-making Presidential Election, views herself as smarter than average Americans.

She comes off in public as being snotty, cold, and insincere…because she is

This is nothing new.

In the Spring of 1974, Hillary became a member of the Presidential Impeachment Inquiry Staff, advising the Judiciary Committee of the House of Representatives during the Watergate Scandal. Her boss back then, Jerry Zeifman, now-retired General Counsel and Chief of Staff of the House Judiciary Committee, tells a very revealing story concerning her work there.According to Zeifman, a lifelong Democrat, Hillary got a job working on the investigation at the behest of her former Yale Law Professor, Burke Marshall, also Sen. Ted Kennedy’s chief counsel in the Chappaquiddick affair. When the Watergate Investigation was over, Zeifman fired Hillary from the committee staff and refused to give her a letter of recommendation. That made the Future First Lady and Secretary of State one of only three people who earned that badge of dishonor in Zeifman’s 17-year career. Why?

According to Zeifman,

Because she was a liar. She was an unethical, dishonest lawyer. She conspired to violate the Constitution, the rules of the House, the rules of the committee and the rules of confidentiality.

Witness her behavior during the entire investigation regarding the events of that horrific night of September 11, 2012, on the grounds of the U.S. Embassy Compound in Benghazi, Libya.

We learned on October 26, 2012, that there were two drones circling overhead, as four brave Americans were being slaughtered. Obama and his Administration knew exactly what was happening, yet, for the sake of political expediency, chose to do nothing about it.

What Hillary’s appearance before the Benghazi Hearings showed, was a pathological predilection for dishonesty, insincerity, and inappropriateness, not only on the part of Former Secretary of State, Hillary Rodham Clinton,  but the whole Obama Administration, as well, from the top on down.

They all knew that the cause of the attacks was not some stupid Youtube Video, but a full-blown Muslim Terrorist Attack.

However, for the sake of Political Expediency…and the re-election of President Barack Hussein Obama and the legacy of his rapidly failing Foreign Policy, known as Smart Power!, they had to quickly come up with an excuse for their liability in the deaths of those four brave Americans.

Hillary Rodham Clinton, with her Oscar-worthy Performance in front of the House Committee, which included circuitous answers to Yes or No Questions and inappropriate smirks, accompanied by cackling laughter, echoes across the years, proved completely true and accurate as to what I and my fellow Conservative Bloggers were saying about her all along:

Hillary is a sociopath, who envisioned herself to be smarter than everybody else, above the law, and White House-bound, because she believed that she was going to be handed the Presidency, simply because “it’s her turn”.

Oopsie.

Americans disagreed.

The name Hillary Rodham Clinton will become synonymous with the untrustworthy nature of professional politicians.

A President of the United States must be trustworthy, not only for the reassurance of its citizens that they will do the right thing when a crisis occurs, but also for the assurance of our overseas allies, that we will have their backs in case of a crisis in their nation.

Whether the revelation of “the gift” of massive quantities of Uranium to the Russians (an irony lost on the conspiratorial Democrats perpetuating the Russia-Trump Collusion Fable)  or the formation of an Iranian Connection, as a result of money given to the Clinton Foundation,  as was previously  reported in 2015, or the revelation involving “dual-staffer” Cheryl Mills, this is not just a scandal involving money and unscrupulous political ladder-climbing through the peddling of “favors”, the actions of Hillary Clinton as Secretary of State crossed the line into the abhorrent abyss of a Conflict of Interest involving possible Treason.

Time and time again, from Watergate to Travelgate to Benghazigate, and Emailgate, Hillary Clinton proved to be a ruthless, untrustworthy, Machiavellian professional politician, who only cared about herself and her ascension to the Presidency of the United States of America.

In conclusion, it was not just one incident which cost Hillary Clinton the Presidency .

It was A LIFETIME OF LIES.

Average Americans, from the Rust Belt to the Bible Belt, were familiar with Mrs. Clinton.

They knew who she was and what she was.

They knew that she would walk 20 miles across the scorching desert sand to tell a lie rather than step across on of Obama’s infamous Red Lines and tell the truth.

Hillary has no one to blame but herself for losing the Presidency to Donald J. Trump.

But, of course, she never will.

For, after all, accepting responsibility for one’s words and actions is as repulsive to a Modern American Liberal as a Crucifix is to a Vampire, jus as she showed in her speech about a “Divided America” the other day, when she “came out of the woods”.

Just like their failed Presidential Candidate, the Democrats and their operatives in the Main Stream Media who have made up all of the Fake News Stories concerning the Russians somehow tampering with the election, refuse to accept the reality that average American rejected their political ideology and sent a Citizen Statesman to Washington on November 8, 2016, instead of a Professional Politician.

Donald J. Trump remains the President of the United States of America.

And, all of the “Special Snowflakes” can continue their National Temper Tantrum, if they wish.

For after all,

What difference at this point does it make?

Until He Comes,

Reclaiming America’s Place in the World: “Smart Power” is Gone. Has”Peace Through Strength” Returned?

rextillersonfeuerherdjapan

For those of you who are, or have been, parents…have you ever tried to clean up the mess of a teenager’s bedroom?

Then you know how President Donald J. Trump and Secretary of State Rex Tillerson feel and they start to try to clean up the Foreign Policy Disaster that Obama, Clinton, and Kerry left behind.

Foxnews.com  filed the following report yesterday…

EXCLUSIVE: Secretary of State Rex Tillerson, in an exclusive interview with Fox News, refused to rule out increased weaponization and even nuclearization of America’s East Asian allies to deter North Korean aggression. “We’re exchanging views,” Tillerson said, while standing a few feet within what is technically North Korean territory inside what is known as the Joint Security Area.

“Nothing has been taken off the table,” he said, when asked whether he would rule out nuclearization of the peninsula, during the interview with Fox News.

Tillerson, who’s called the past 20 years of diplomacy toward North Korea a failure, has said the world needs a new strategy.

“Let me be very clear: the policy of strategic patience has ended,” said Tillerson in a later press availability in Seoul with South Korean Foreign Minister Yun Byung-se.

“If they elevate the threat of their weapons program to a level we believe requires action that option is on the table,” Tillerson also said, adding the U.S. wants to avoid military conflict and hopes other measures convince North Korea to suspend its weapons programs.

President Trump, bolstering his secretary of state’s comments, tweeted Friday morning that North Korea is “behaving very badly.”

Then-candidate Donald Trump received criticism when, in a March 2016 interview with The New York Times, he said of nuclear weapons: “would I rather have North Korea have them with Japan sitting there having them also? You may very well be better off if that’s the case.”

In a tweet, Trump later denied he said more countries should have nuclear weapons. Tillerson is in the middle of a trip to Japan, South Korea and China, largely to discuss coordinated efforts to halt North Korea’s advancing nuclear and ballistic missile programs.

He travels to China Friday, after pressuring that government to further curtail the threat from its ally, calling its approach to North Korean aggression “troubling” and “inappropriate”.

As Secretary of State Tillerson begins the job of reclaiming America’s rightful position as a Global Leader, on behalf of President Trump, I believe that is important to remember the disaster that was America’s Foreign Policy under Barack Hussein Obama.

Before Barack Hussein Obama (mm mmm mmmm) ascended to the throne of The Regime, he did something no other candidate for American President has ever done.  He campaigned in Europe, where he was treated like a rock star, by both the Europeans and the sycophantic Main Stream Media.  This set the stage for Obama’s Foreign Policy efforts as President.

There were so many issues that weakened America on the world stage as Obama pursued his Foreign Policy, it’s hard to know where to begin.  Come along as I try to relate a few high (low?) points.

1.  The World Apology Tour – Shortly after he took office, President Obama set off for the first of a two-part “World Apology Tour”.   After less than 100 days, he had apologized on three continents for what he viewed as the sins of America and previous presidents.

Per Karl Rove:

Mr. Obama told the French (the French!) that America “has shown arrogance and been dismissive, even derisive” toward Europe.  In Prague, he said America has “a moral responsibility to act” on arms control because only the U.S. had “used a nuclear weapon.” In London, he said that decisions about the world financial system were no longer made by “just Roosevelt and Churchill sitting in a room with a brandy” — as if that were a bad thing. And in Latin America, he said the U.S. had not “pursued and sustained engagement with our neighbors” because we “failed to see that our own progress is tied directly to progress throughout the Americas.”

By apologizing to the world, then- White House Press Secretary Robert “Baghdad Bob” Gibbs said that Scooter had “changed the image of America around the world” and made the U.S. “safer and stronger.”

Having the British call him “President Pantywaist” made us “safer and stronger”?

2.  Global War on Terror –  In a memo e-mailed the week of March 25th, 2009, in the middle of the World Apology Tour, to Pentagon staff members, the Defense Department’s office of security review proclaimed that “this administration prefers to avoid using the term ‘Long War’ or ‘Global War on Terror’ [GWOT.] Please use ‘Overseas Contingency Operation.’ ”  And so it began.

On Thursday, June 4th, 2009 at the University of Cairo, Obama addressed the Muslim World.  Here is an excerpt from the 6:35 a.m. speech:

Islam has a proud tradition of tolerance. We see it in the history of Andalusia and Cordoba during the Inquisition. I saw it firsthand as a child in Indonesia, where devout Christians worshiped freely in an overwhelmingly Muslim country. That is the spirit we need today. People in every country should be free to choose and live their faith-based lives upon the persuasion of the mind, heart, and soul. This tolerance is essential for religion to thrive, but it is being challenged in many different ways.

Among some Muslims, there is a disturbing tendency to measure one’s own faith by the rejection of another’s. The richness of religious diversity must be upheld – whether it is for Maronites in Lebanon or the Copts in Egypt. And fault lines must be closed among Muslims as well, as the divisions between Sunni and Shia have led to tragic violence, particularly in Iraq.

Freedom of religion is central to the ability of peoples to live together. We must always examine the ways in which we protect it. For instance, in the United States, rules on charitable giving have made it harder for Muslims to fulfill their religious obligation. That is why I am committed to working with American Muslims to ensure that they can fulfill zakat.

Likewise, it is important for Western countries to avoid impeding Muslim citizens from practicing religion as they see fit – for instance, by dictating what clothes a Muslim woman should wear. We cannot disguise hostility towards any religion behind the pretence of liberalism.

Scooter believed that by reaching out to the Muslim world through changing and softening our terminology as it pertained to the Jihad declared against the United States by Muslim Extremists, his administration would make huge inroads in America’s relationship with the Islamic World.  It actually accompished nothing but to encourage our enemies, as evidenced by the increased number of attacks by Muslim Extremists here in our country during his time as President.

3.  Smart Power! – At her confirmation hearing before the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, Secretary of State nominee Hillary Clinton said:

We must use what has been called smart power, the full range of tools at our disposal—diplomatic, economic, military, political, legal, and cultural—picking the right tool, or combination of tools, for each situation. With smart power, diplomacy will be the vanguard of our foreign policy. This is not a radical idea. The ancient Roman poet Terence declared that “in every endeavor, the seemly course for wise men is to try persuasion first.” The same truth binds wise women as well.

Excessive humility has never been one of Hil’s problems.

Of course, Smart Power led to Arab Spring, which replaced Moderate Muslim Dictators, with Radical Muslim Dictators, backed by the Muslim Brotherhood. Great plan, y’all.

4.  Afghanistan – When Obama took office, he announced that Afghanistan was the true center of extremist activities.  He then told us that the Overseas Contingency Operation would be making a hard pivot from the main focus being on Iran to the main focus being on Afghanistan.  From there, he decided that the mountainous country of Pakistan (pronounced by the president, Pock-ee-stahn) was where all the truly evil Extremists were hiding.  He had two problems with this strategy:  the mountainous geography and unfriendly government of  Pock-ee-stahn.  Obama was advised by his military advisors that the best strategy was to use unmanned drones to attack Taliban (pronounced Tawl-ee-bohn by Obama) strongholds.  While the drones were very successful in killing members of the Tawl-ee-bohn, they have occasionally killed civilians as well.   That did not endeared us to that country’s government. Obama subsequently pulled out the majority of troops in Afghanistan, only recently to have had to send troops back in again.

While no President can control the actions of other countries come in their own affairs, the position of President of the United States has not historically been referred to as the Leader of the Free World for no reason.

That position has historically been the Vanguard in the fight against despotism and tyranny.

Unfortunately, for lovers of freedom the world over, instead of being the leader that the world and America itself needed, Barack Hussein Obama instead was an example of the Peter Principle.

He rose to his level of incompetence.

Obama believed in a “Chamberlain-esque” Foreign Policy of appeasement, consisting of vague warnings, pay-offs, and drawing red lines in the sand.

It didn’t work.

President Donald J. Trump appears to be adopting President Ronald Reagan’s Foreign Policy of “Peace Through Strength.”

Knowing that, I feel safer already.

Trump ‘s Budget Cuts Funding for PBS and NEA. Liberal Propagandists Hardest Hit.

pbs_hq

President Donald Trump has released his Proposed Budget.

The screaming that you’re hearing is coming from melting Snowflakes.

Foxnews.com reports that

President Trump’s first budget blueprint is calling for the elimination of federal funding to a host of arts and humanities programs, as the new administration seeks to redirect taxpayer dollars to defense.

The blueprint released by the White House “proposes to eliminate funding” for: the National Endowment for the Arts (NEA), National Endowment for the Humanities (NEH), and the Corporation for Public Broadcasting, which sends some money to PBS and National Public Radio.

Federal funding of arts programs, including money for public radio and television, has been the target of Republican administrations and congressional budget hawks for decades.

Mitt Romney said during his 2012 presidential campaign that the test of a program’s value was whether it was “so critical that it’s worth borrowing money from China to pay for it.”

Supporters of public funding of the arts have fought out challenges for years, but this year could be different with Republicans controlling the budgetary levers at both ends of Pennsylvania Avenue.

“The president finally got to the point where he said, ‘do I really want to make the coal miner in West Virginia, or the auto worker in Ohio, or the single mom in Detroit to pay for the National Endowment of the Arts or the Corporation for Public Broadcasting?’ And the answer is no,” White House budget Director Mike Mulvaney said Thursday during an appearance on “Fox & Friends.”

Public broadcasters and their supporters were quick to respond to Trump’s plans to fulfill a campaign promise to end federal financing of public media.

Patricia Harrison, president and CEO of the Corporation for Public Broadcasting (CPB) cast the cuts in apocalyptic terms, saying they would “initially devastate” and “ultimately destroy public media’s role in early childhood education, public safety, connecting citizens to our history, and promoting civil discussions – all for Americans in both rural and urban communities.”

Created by Congress in the Public Broadcasting Act of 1967, the CPB is the largest single source of funding for public radio, television, and related online services. In 2016, the CPB received a $445 million slice of the federal government’s $4 trillion budgetary pie.

National Endowment of the Arts Chairman Jane Chu, an Obama administration holdover, told staff she was “disappointed” by the Trump administration budget blueprint, but added she looked forward to working with the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) to “prepare information they have requested” and would “operate as usual” until cuts were actually made.

She then noted that the NEA as a federal government agency is prohibited from engaging “in advocacy, either directly or indirectly” but would “continue our practice of educating about the NEA’s vital role in serving our nation’s communities.”

Established in 1965, the NEA’s primary mission is to provide grants to museums, symphony orchestras, as a means to “encourage individual and institutional development of the arts.”

The NEA also distributes funds to individual artists and to state arts agencies. In fiscal 2014 and 2015, NEA had a budget of $146,021,000, according to the NEA’s latest financial statement.

The NEA has long been a target of fiscal and social conservatives, whose opposition reached peak levels in the 1980s after several controversial artists and projects received federal funds.

The more controversial grants included one to artist Andrew Serrano who featured a photo of a crucifix submerged in a glass of his own urine. Another was given to Robert Mapplethorpe, whose NEA-supported exhibit in Cincinnati was cancelled because of protests of aspects of his art that showed explicit photos of sexual acts and S&M culture.

PBS President and CEO Paula Kerger argued the annual cost to Americans was insignificant but the payoff for children was huge.

“The cost of public broadcasting is small — only $1.35 per citizen per year — and the benefits are tangible: increasing school readiness for kids 2-8, support for teachers and homeschoolers, lifelong learning, public safety communications and civil discourse,” said Kerger in a statement.

The fact is both PBS and the NEA have become Political Tools.

PBS has been around for a long time.

Per discoverthenetworks.org,

An outgrowth of National Educational Television, the Public Broadcasting Service (PBS) is a nonprofit TV network composed of 354 stations in the United States, Puerto Rico, the U.S. Virgin Islands, Guam, and American Samoa. With financial support from large liberal philanthropies like the Carnegie Corporation of New York, and the Ford Foundation, and PBS was established in 1969 and commenced broadcasting in October 1970. Aiming “to create content that educates, informs and inspires,” the network’s programming, which consists predominantly of educational and artistic presentations, reaches almost 117 million people through television and nearly 20 million people online each month.

Notwithstanding the Public Broadcasting Act of 1967’s requirement for “strict adherence to objectivity and balance in all programs … of a controversial nature,” the content of PBS programming generally has reflected a liberal-to-left political slant ever since the network’s inception. As the Capital Research Center reports, “most PBS news programs are little more than left-wing agitprop”; PBS’s “flagship public-affairs series, Frontline, typically focuses on “corporate malfeasance” and “political intrigue”; the “human-interest stories on Independent Lens and P.O.V. are politically correct lamentations on social oppression or celebrations of ‘diversity’”; the science program Nova “frequently bemoans man’s destructive interference with nature”; and the series NOW, hosted by David Brancaccio, “is dedicated to blaming corporate America for every crisis and targeting politicians and big media for every cover-up.” Brent Bozell of the Media Research Center puts it this way: “The left maintains an iron grip on PBS.”

Bill Moyers, president of the Schumann Center for Media and Democracy, was a prominent host and producer of various PBS programs from 1970 through his retirement in 2004. Toward the end of Moyers’ career, approximately 30 PBS affiliates stopped airing his partisan show NOW (which he hosted before David Brancaccio) during the network’s pledge drives, partly out of fear that the program’s unmistakable bias would alienate many potential donors. NOW had also become an ethical embarrassment because Moyers, without informing his audience, had used his taxpayer-subsidized show to promote guests from at least 16 leftist organizations that had received some $4.8 million in grants from the Schumann Center.

…PBS receives the bulk of its funding from the Corporation for Public Broadcasting, a nonprofit, private entity that was created by Congress in 1967 and whose annual budget is derived almost entirely from federal grants.

Another key PBS supporter is the PBS Foundation, which was established in 2004 “to seek, cultivate, and receive philanthropic gifts [for PBS] at the national level.”

Additional backers of PBS include the Adobe Foundation, the Alfred P. Sloan Foundation, the Atlantic Philanthropies, the Carnegie Corporation, the Charles H. Revson Foundation, the Community Foundation Silicon Valley, the DaimlerChrysler Corporation Fund, the Fannie Mae Foundation, the Ford Foundation, the John D. and Catherine T. MacArthur Foundation, the John S. and James L. Knight Foundation, the Newman’s Own Foundation, the Northwestern Mutual Foundation, the Orfalea Family Foundation, the Park Foundation, the Pew Charitable Trusts, the Richard and Rhoda Goldman Fund, the Skoll Foundation, the Susan Thompson Buffett Foundation, and the W.K. Kellogg Foundation.

Why should average Americans fund television programming which espouses a singular minority political ideology?

The only time that most average Americans even watch PBS is when the good concerts and specials about old television programs that we grew up with come on during their “Beg-a-thons”.

Concerning the NEA,

Elizabeth Harrington, a writer for The Washington Free Beacon, posted an article titled “The National Endowment For The Arts Funds Political Propaganda”, in February of last year at TheFederalist.com. In it, she wrote that

The president appoints the chairman of the NEA, who then chooses field directors who hold two-year appointments. While some appointees may stay for just two years, others remain at the agency for much longer. For instance, Douglas Sonntag, who is the dance director, has been with the NEA since 1997.Who approves the individual grants is a different story. The first round of this fiscal year’s grants were awarded to 1,126 different individuals and organizations across the country.

The simplest answer is that people in the art world tend to lean to the left on the political spectrum.
The sheer number of grants, and number of panelists who approve them—237 for the latest round—make it likely that political projects slip through the cracks. The projects the panelists choose then go through the National Council of the Arts, the NEA’s advisory body, which makes recommendations for what should get funding. But ultimately, the decision for every single award lies in the hands of the chairman, the NEA says.

The simplest answer is that people in the art world tend to lean to the left on the political spectrum, making them more likely to select projects that align with their worldview. Furthermore, liberals do not tend to see their issues as political: climate change is settled science, “there are not two sides” to the debate over same-sex marriage, etc.

Perhaps past NEA appointees who tended to be more conservative were too afraid to deny grants for promoting a liberal agenda. The solution is for the next Republican chairman to fund the premiere of a traveling musical that preaches to its audience that climate change is a hoax to enrich the likes of Al Gore.

To follow up on a previous question, why should average Americans be forced to fund “art” projects which espouse a singular minority political ideology and while doing so demean the Faith of 75% of our nation’s population?

For example…

Back in September of 2012, Todd Starnes of Fox News reported that

“Piss Christ,” once branded as a “deplorable, despicable display of vulgarity,” will be displayed at the Edward Tyler Nahem Gallery in Manhattan on Thursday. The artwork features a “photograph of the crucifix submerged in the artist’s urine.”

The artwork debuted in 1989 and was funded through prize money provided by the National Endowment for the Arts. The art gallery hosting the retrospective salute to Andres Serrano is privately owned.

“Diversity” is one thing. Insanity is another thing, completely.

I love music. I love the arts. I despise anti-American Far Left Political Propaganda being force-fed to America’s children and grandchildren in the name of “the arts”.

If you think that smearing elephant dung all over a painting of the Virgin Mary is “art”…there is something seriously wrong with you and I refuse to fund your psychosis.

At this point in our nation’s history, the rebuilding of our Armed Forces and the safety of our nation takes funding precedence over the funding of documentaries about how awful America is and funding some under-achiever who thinks that dropping a crucifix in a jar of urine is “art”.

There are plenty of Liberal Organizations out there who will fund them.

Americans should not be forced to with our Tax Dollars.

Activist Judge Blocks Second Trump Travel Ban: Why It is an Overreach

travel-ban

“Whenever the president finds that the entry of any aliens or any class of aliens into the U.S. would be detrimental to the interests of the United States, he may by proclamation and for such period as he shall deem necessary, suspend the entry of all aliens or any class of aliens as immigrants, non-immigrants or impose on the entry of aliens any restrictions that he may deem to be appropriate,”- 8 U.S. Code § 1182

If you had been out of the country for a while and then came back, you would think that the role of America’s Third Branch of Government, the Judiciary, had changed from ruling on the law of the land to usurping the Constitutionally-granted Authority of the President of the United States of America.

And, you would be RIGHT.

Foxnews.com reports that

President Trump’s revised travel ban was put on hold Wednesday by a federal judge in Hawaii just hours before it was set to take effect after hearing arguments that the executive order discriminates on the basis of nationality.

Trump addressed the judge’s move during a rally in Nashville, Tennessee calling it “unprecedented judicial overreach” and vowed to fight.

“We’re going to win. We’re going to keep our citizens safe,” Trump said. “The danger is clear. The law is clear. The need for my executive order is clear.”

The ruling by U.S. District Court Judge Derrick Watson prevents the executive order from going into effect, at least for now. Hawaii had requested a temporary restraining order.

“Enforcement of these provisions in all places, including the United States, at all United States borders and ports of entry, and in the issuance of visas is prohibited, pending further orders from this Court,” Watson wrote in his ruling.

In a statement released late Wednesday night the Department of Justice said they strongly disagreed with the ruling and called the move “flawed both in reasoning and scope.”

“The President’s Executive Order falls squarely within his lawful authority in seeking to protect our Nation’s security, and the Department will continue to defend this Executive Order in the courts,” said DOJ Spokesperson Sarah Isgur Flores.

The ruling came as opponents renewed their legal challenges across the country, asking judges in three states to block the executive order that targets people from six predominantly Muslim countries.

More than half a dozen states are trying to stop the ban, and federal courts in Maryland, Washington state and Hawaii heard arguments about whether it should be put into practice early Thursday.

Hawaii also argued to the court that the ban would prevent residents from receiving visits from relatives in the six countries covered by the order. The state says the ban would harm its tourism industry and the ability to recruit foreign students and workers.

Senator Mazie K. Hirono, D-Hawaii, welcomed the ruling and said “Judge Watson exemplifies the importance of an independent judiciary.”

Hawaii Rep. Tulsi Gabbard called the travel ban “bad policy” and praised Attorney General Doug Chin for stopping the order.

In Maryland, attorneys told a federal judge that the measure still discriminates against Muslims.

Government attorneys argued that the ban was revised substantially to address legal concerns, including the removal of an exemption for religious minorities from the affected countries.

“It doesn’t say anything about religion. It doesn’t draw any religious distinctions,” Jeffrey Wall, who argued for the Justice Department, said in court.

Attorneys for the ACLU and other groups said that Trump’s statements on the campaign trail and statements from his advisers since he took office make clear that the intent of the ban is to ban Muslims.

New York Attorney General Eric Schneiderman called the order “yet another victory.”

“President Trump’s second executive order is just a Muslim Ban by another name – with the same unlawful and unconstitutional goal of discriminating based on religion and national origin,” he said in a statement.

Trump policy adviser Stephen Miller has previously said the revised order was designed to have “the same basic policy outcome” as the first.

The latest version of the ban details more of a national security rationale. It is narrower and eases some concerns about violating the due-process rights of travelers, appyling only to new visas from Somalia, Iran, Syria, Sudan, Libya and Yemen and temporarily shuts down the U.S. refugee program. It does not apply to travelers who already have visas.

“Generally, courts defer on national security to the government,” said U.S. District Judge Theodore Chuang. “Do I need to conclude that the national security purpose is a sham and false?”

In response, ACLU attorney Omar Jadwat pointed to Miller’s statement and said the government had put out misleading and contradictory information about whether banning travel from six specific countries would make the nation safer.

The Maryland lawsuit also argues that it’s against federal law for the Trump administration to reduce the number of refugees allowed into the United States this year by more than half, from 110,000 to 50,000. Attorneys argued that if that aspect of the ban takes effect, 60,000 people would be stranded in war-torn countries with nowhere else to go.

In the Hawaii case, the federal government said there was no need to issue an emergency restraining order because Hawaii officials offered only “generalized allegations” of harm.

Jeffrey Wall of the Office of the Solicitor General challenged Hawaii’s claim that the order violates due-process rights of Ismail Elshikh as a U.S. citizen who wants his mother-in-law to visit his family from Syria. He says courts have not extended due-process rights outside of a spousal relationship.

Neal Katyal, a Washington, D.C., attorney representing Hawaii, called the story of Elshiskh, an Egyptian immigrant and naturalized U.S. citizen, “the story of America.”

According to Founding Father Alexander Hamilton, in the following Federalist Paper, Americans have nothing to fear from the Judiciary when they act alone. It’s when they act in concert with others, such as Liberal Politicians in Congress, that Americans need to be afraid.

From The Federalist #78

Whoever attentively considers the different departments of power must perceive, that, in a government in which they are separated from each other, the judiciary, from the nature of its functions, will always be the least dangerous to the political rights of the Constitution; because it will be least in a capacity to annoy or injure them. The Executive not only dispenses the honors, but holds the sword of the community. The legislature not only commands the purse, but prescribes the rules by which the duties and rights of every citizen are to be regulated. The judiciary, on the contrary, has no influence over either the sword or the purse; no direction either of the strength or of the wealth of the society; and can take no active resolution whatever. It may truly be said to have neither FORCE nor WILL, but merely judgment; and must ultimately depend upon the aid of the executive arm even for the efficacy of its judgments.

This simple view of the matter suggests several important consequences. It proves incontestably, that the judiciary is beyond comparison the weakest of the three departments of power1; that it can never attack with success either of the other two; and that all possible care is requisite to enable it to defend itself against their attacks. It equally proves, that though individual oppression may now and then proceed from the courts of justice, the general liberty of the people can never be endangered from that quarter; I mean so long as the judiciary remains truly distinct from both the legislature and the Executive. For I agree, that “there is no liberty, if the power of judging be not separated from the legislative and executive powers.”2 And it proves, in the last place, that as liberty can have nothing to fear from the judiciary alone, but would have every thing to fear from its union with either of the other departments; that as all the effects of such a union must ensue from a dependence of the former on the latter, notwithstanding a nominal and apparent separation; that as, from the natural feebleness of the judiciary, it is in continual jeopardy of being overpowered, awed, or influenced by its co-ordinate branches; and that as nothing can contribute so much to its firmness and independence as permanency in office, this quality may therefore be justly regarded as an indispensable ingredient in its constitution, and, in a great measure, as the citadel of the public justice and the public security.

Do you think that Hamilton foresaw the rise of Activist Judges, whose sole purpose, working in concert with an out-of-power Political Party, to sabotage a president trying to protect American Citizens?

Why should we allow people into our country who want to kill us?

What about other Presidents? How did they feel about “multi-culturalism” and allowing people in who do not like us?

In the first place, we should insist that if the immigrant who comes here in good faith becomes an American and assimilates himself to us, he shall be treated on an exact equality with everyone else, for it is an outrage to discriminate against any such man because of creed, or birthplace, or origin. But this is predicated upon the person’s becoming in every facet an American, and nothing but an American…There can be no divided allegiance here. Any man who says he is an American, but something else also, isn’t an American at all. We have room for but one flag, the American flag… We have room for but one language here, and that is the English language… and we have room for but one sole loyalty and that is a loyalty to the American people.” – Theodore Roosevelt,

The Immigration Act of 1924 was passed because America had experienced an overwhelming flood of immigrants, which strained the resources of our nation.

That act allowed all of those immigrants to be assimilated into American Society and to actually become Americans, in thought, word, deed, and LOYALTY.

Later, Liberal President Jimmy Carter stopped Iranians from immigrating, because, just like the situation we faced today with Radical Islam, we were AT WAR.

In fact, Obama and his Administration were themselves actually restrictive in whom they allowed to immigrate to America., refusing the entry of Middle Eastern Christians, who were and are attempting to escape from certain death at the hands of Radical Islamists.

The only reason that the Democrat Elite are mad at Donald J. Trump’s Proposal to restrict the immigration of those who would kill us, is that he is attempting to thwart their plans to rapidly import thousands of un-vetted Muslims, and potential Democrat Voter into our country.

And, the Democrats who run Hawaii are worried about their Tourism Industry.

Aloha! Would you like a lei to go along with that bomb?

They could care less about the results of their avarice.

Like all Liberals, they remain oblivious of their own callous hypocrisy.

In the past, Liberals have made an art form out of circumventing the will of the American people by taking things before Liberal Judicial Activists.

However, this time is not about allowing two hairy-legged gents to roll around under the sheets together and label it a “marriage” in the name of “love”.

This time, it is about allowing those who want to kill us to come into our Sovereign Nation without being properly vetted.

They should be grateful to President Trump.

The Democrats are trying to commit mass seppuku, with the rest of us included, and Trump is trying to take the knives out of their hands.

The MSNBC Trump Tax Debacle: “Be Careful What You Wish For…”

Media-Wolf-NRD-600

As you know, gentle readers, the Main Stream Media, like the rest of their Modern American Liberal Brothers and Sisters, are willing participants in the never-ending National Temper Tantrum being thrown over the election of Donald J. Trump as the 45th President by us rubes here in Flyover Country. In fact, they are so upset that they have abandoned any pretense of objectivity, publishing stories about Trump and his Administration, that have all of the veracity of a “Batboy” Article published in the Weekly World News, which used to be available at the checkout lane of the grocery store, but has now morphed into a website.

The Main Stream Media not only lost their meal ticket with the defeat of the Queen of Mean, Hillary Clinton, but now, they also have to face the reality of being “punked” for at least four years by Donald J. Trump, who has been treating them like a school of Largemouth Bass, baiting the hook with the promise of a big announcement or story, causing them to pack the room wherever Trump is speaking, only to find out that they have been used to gain free publicity for Mr. Trump and whatever cause he is trying to forward that day.

In fact, Trump has made the Media look tremendously naïve and stupid on several occasions, in scenes reminiscent of Lucy Van Pelt promising to hold the football for Charlie Brown to kick, only to pull it away at the last minute leaving a helpless Charlie Brown to wipe out, tumbling head over heels.

The Main Stream Media are no longer in control of the dissemination of the news…and they know it.

Between Trump’s playing them like Charlie Daniels playing a fiddle and average Americans becoming their own reporters through the use of Social Media, “professional journalists” have watched their influence over the daily lives of Americans dwindle and diminish right before their very eyes.

And, quite frankly, they don’t like it one bit.

In fact, they will do anything and everything they can, legal and illegal, in their quest to get Trump out of the White House.

Case in point:

The Associated Press reported last night that

The White House said Tuesday that President Donald Trump made more than $150 million in income in 2005 and paid $38 million in income taxes that year. The acknowledgement came shortly before MSNBC host Rachel Maddow reported on two pages of Trump’s 2005 tax forms on her Tuesday night show.

The records were obtained by Pulitzer prize-winning journalist David Cay Johnston, who said he received the documented unsolicited, in the mail.

The documents have become highly sought-after because Trump refused to release his returns during the campaign, breaking a decades-long tradition. He claimed he was under audit by the Internal Revenue Service and said his attorneys had advised against it – though experts and IRS officials said such audits don’t bar taxpayers from releasing their returns.

The White House pushed back pre-emptively Tuesday night, saying that publishing those returns would be illegal.

“You know you are desperate for ratings when you are willing to violate the law to push a story about two pages of tax returns from over a decade ago,” the White House said in a statement.

The unauthorized release or publishing of federal tax returns is a criminal offense, punishable by a fine of up to $5,000 and up to five years in jail. But Maddow argued that MSNBC was exercising its First Amendment right to publish information in the public interest.

Based on the documents obtained by Johnston, Trump paid $36.5 million in taxes on $153 million in income, for an effective tax rate of around 24 percent. That percentage is higher than the roughly 10 percent the average American pays each year – but below the 27.4 percent that taxpayers earning 1 million dollars a year average, according to data from the Congressional Joint Committee on Taxation.

Trump long insisted the American public wasn’t interested in his returns and said little could be learned from them. But Trump’s full returns would contain key details about things like his charitable giving, his income sources, the type of deductions he claimed, how much he earned from his assets and what strategies Trump used to reduce his tax bill.

The issue was a major point of attack from his election rival Hillary Clinton, who suggested Trump had something to hide.

The White House has not said whether or not the president plans to release his returns while he’s in office. More than 1 million people have signed a White House petition urging the president to release them.

Can’t you just see all of the Diehard Hillary Fans and the Internet Trolls lined up in front of their televisions last night, waiting on the “intrepid journalist” Rachel Maddow to “lay the smackdown” on President Trump and somehow usher in “the reign of Queen Hillary”?

Can you imagine the how disappointed they all were when they found out that Maddow’s “exclusive” was a big “nothing burger”?

As Drudge pointed out last night, Trump (25%) actually paid more in 2005 than MSNBC Comcast (24%) and Former President Barack Hussein Obama (19%).

MSNBC’s scheme to “get” President Trump backfired spectacularly.

And, Maddow was left looking like the fool that she is.

Americans are now living in a time when the Main Stream Media’s blatant propaganda is no longer believed at face value, as the evidence which refutes it is appearing in the live videos and photographs being shared on Facebook and other Social Media.

Average Americans are winning the war against the “New Fascism” of the Tyranny of the Minority by the sharing of information through Social Media.

The Modern American Liberals od the Main Stream Media still just don’t get it.

I predicted a long time ago that their hubris would be their downfall.

By becoming activists, instead of journalists, they are a part of the 24% who identify themselves as “Liberals”, referred to as the “Hive-mind”, because most of the time, they present themselves in public and on the internet, including Facebook Political Pages, as being in lockstep with one another, regurgitating “the Party Line”, about each and every Hot Button Political Issue, resembling the brainwashed Proletariat of the old Soviet Union.

The MSM traded their integrity for a seat in the back of Air Force One in return for helping Hillary win the Presidency.

And now, in an attempt to make up for their part in the Democratic Party Failure of November 8th, 2016, they have joined in with the rest of the sore losers in a massive attempt to bring the 45th President of the United States of American down…by any means necessary.

Fortunately for the American People, who put Trump in office in a fair election…

The sore losers are still a bunch of failures.

Trump to Cut Funding to the UN By 50%. It’s About Time.

UN Headquarters New York 2.JPG

“When do you see the United Nations solving problems? They don’t. They cause problems. So, if it lives up to the potential, it’s a great thing. And if it doesn’t, it’s a waste of time and money.” – President Donald J. Trump

Thehill.com reports that

President Trump’s administration has told the State Department to cut more than 50 percent of U.S. funding to United Nations programs, Foreign Policy reported. The push for the drastic reductions comes as the White House is scheduled to release its 2018 topline budget proposal Thursday, which is expected to include a 37 percent cut to the State Department and U.S. Agency for International Development budgets.

It’s not clear if Trump’s budget plan, from the Office of Management and Budget, would reflect the full extent of Trump’s proposed cuts to the U.N.

Secretary of State Rex Tillerson has suggested phasing in the major reductions over the coming three years. One official close the administration told Foreign Policy that Tillerson has flexibility about how best to implement the reduction.

The U.S. spends roughly $10 billion annually on the U.N., and the cuts could have the greatest impact on peacekeeping, the U.N. development program and UNICEF, which are funded by State’s Bureau of International Organization Affairs.

The fate of other popular programs, like the World Food Programme and U.N. refugee operations, are less clear. The World Food Programme’s funding comes from the Department of Agriculture.

The magazine said it confirmed the potential cuts with three sources; one said the administration is considering cutting humanitarian aid programs by 36 percent.

Richard Gowan, a U.N. expert at the European Council on Foreign Relations, said the alterations would spark “chaos” if true.

“[It would] leave a gaping hole that other big donors would struggle to fill,” he told FP, pointing to how the U.S. provided $1.5 billion of the U.N. refugee agency’s $4 billion budget last year.

“Multiply that across other humanitarian agencies like the World Food Programme and you are basically talking about the breakdown of the international humanitarian system as we know it.”

Foreign Policy added U.S. diplomats warned key U.N. members to “expect a big financial restraint” on American spending at the U.N. during a March 9 meeting in New York City.

“There are rumors of big cuts to the State Department budget, but again, on our side, no figures,” one diplomat purportedly told donors from Europe, Japan and South Korea.

Administration officials said last month that Trump’s budget would contain $54 billion in domestic non-discretionary spending cuts to pay for an equal increase in defense spending.

Trump has repeatedly vowed to strengthen the military before the release of the 2018 budget, which is the first such proposal of his presidency.

While Barack Hussein Obama held the Office of the President of the United States of America, he was bound and determined to make America into just another nation, assigning American Exceptionalism to the trash heap of  history. His pure ignorance to America’s place in the world was overwhelming. Obama’s bowing and scraping, like a leader of a country who occupied a subservient position to nations filled with barbarians, who would slit every American’s throat, if given the chance, was an stunning example of this naivete and downright ignorance.

After terrorists murdered four Americans at the US Embassy Compound in Benghazi, Libya, Obama stepped in front of the General Assembly of United Nations, like a little school boy, repeating the lie which he and his staff concocted, that it was some little unwatched Youtube Video that caused the Muslims’ actions over there.

There is a reason that the Headquarters of the United Nations is in New York City in New York State in the United States of America.

We are not their servants. In fact, the United Nations would not exist if not for America.

Obama’s acquiescence to the United Nations emboldened that body to believe that THEY were our, forgive the term, “Masters”.

The United States of America is a Sovereign Nation, created by the blood, sweat, and tears of men and women, who rise above those who do not believe in American Exceptionalism and our Sovereignty as a Free Nation, in stature, honor, integrity, and courage to the point where those who are the enemies of our country, Foreign and DOMESTIC, are not even fit enough to tie their boots.

We are an “independent state”, completely independent and self-governing. We bow to no other country on God’s green Earth. We are beholden to no other nation. America stands on its own, with our own set of laws, the most important of which is The Constitution of the United States, which guarantees us, as a Free People, the right to determine our own destiny, both individually, and, as a free people.

We are Americans.

We man up and we handle our own problems.

Only by standing up to the thug nations represented at the UN, will America be respected, and left alone, as the sovereign nation that we are.

Cutting the yearly payment of American Taxpayers’ Money to the United Nations by 50% is a good start.

The Effort to “Repeal and Replace” Obamacare Finds Trump Fighting Resistance…From Both Sides

trump-promises-insurers-catastrophic-year-obamacareThe effort to “repeal and replace” Obamacare is being met with resistance…from BOTH sides of the Political Aisle.

The Associated Press reports that

Less than twenty-four hours after Donald Trump had won the White House, House Speaker Paul Ryan triumphantly proclaimed the start of a new era of Republican leadership that would “hit the ground running. “Six weeks into Trump’s administration, Republicans are running — just in different directions.

As congressional leaders move forward with efforts to undo former President Barack Obama’s health care law, conservative activists and GOP lawmakers are slamming the proposal as “Obamacare lite,” ”Obamacare 2.0″ and “RINOcare” — RINO standing for Republicans In Name Only, a term of derision.

Swing state senators worry that their sickest and poorest constituents could lose access to health care. Republican governors fear that millions of people now covered by Medicaid could be dropped, a step the governors warn could hurt GOP candidates in their states.

“We’ve said all along, ‘Work with the governors,'” said Gov. Brian Sandoval, R-Nev. “Well, they came out with their own bill, which doesn’t include anything that the governors have talked about.”

Republican leaders hoped unified control of Washington would unite the party around years of campaign promises to dismantle the Affordable Care Act, cut taxes and slash regulations.

Instead, the celebratory weeks that followed Trump’s victory seem to have been little more than a temporary cease-fire in a years long GOP civil war.

“There are people who haven’t adjusted to the fact that we have a Republican president,” said Michael Steel, a former top adviser to onetime Speaker John Boehner, R-Ohio, who frequently tangled with tea party-aligned lawmakers. “These guys could wind up leading the cavalry charge straight into machine-gun fire.”

The health care battle is probably the first of many intraparty clashes to come. Already, plans to overhaul tax laws have Republicans tied in knots, budget hawks are skeptical about Trump’s $1 trillion infrastructure plan and senior GOP lawmakers have rejected major pieces of his upcoming budget proposal.

The White House realizes that it must win over many of the objectors. With Democratic voters demanding nothing short of complete resistance to Trump, congressional passage of the Republican agenda will depend largely on party-line votes. That leaves limited room for GOP defections.

In a Wednesday meeting with the leaders of conservative groups, Trump positioned himself as the good cop in the conflict, taking what one participant described as a series of veiled shots at Ryan. The president argued that his team was at least meeting with conservative activists, according to the participant, who spoke on the condition of anonymity to describe private discussions.

Trump also reminded the activists of his strong support among the conservative base and said he planned to campaign in states he won, in an effort to pressure their unsupportive lawmakers.

“I want to be as helpful to the Trump administration as I can. I’m very supportive of the president. I support him, I want to help him. But respect has to go up and down the street, it’s got to go both ways,” said Rep. Gary Palmer, R-Ala., a member of the hard-line House Freedom Caucus.

At least one conservative group is already running digital ads against the GOP health care plan, arguing that the tax credits in the bill essentially replace one federal entitlement with another. Activists plan to swarm Capitol Hill to demand Congress pass a repeal bill that would completely erase all trace of Obama’s signature domestic achievement.

“This is not something that is easy for us to say, ‘OK, we’ll take half a loaf,'” said Adam Brandon, head of the conservative activist group FreedomWorks. “What Senate Leader Mitch McConnell promised when he was on the campaign trail was we’re going to repeal Obamacare root and branch. So what we’re asking him to do is repeal — root and branch.”

Republican leaders attribute some of the discord to inexperience. Just one-quarter of House Republicans ever served in the majority with a Republican president, meaning the vast majority of their members have spent their congressional careers focused solely on blocking a Democratic administration’s agenda and fighting their own leadership.

During the Obama years, conservative lawmakers ousted incumbent Republicans, brought down a House speaker and pushed presidential candidates to the right.

“When you have a president of another party you can freelance all you want to but now we have an actual chance to change the country,” said McConnell, R-Ky., speaking at a breakfast hosted by Politico. “We need to get into a governing mode and start thinking about actually achieving something rather than just sparring.”

Shifting public opinion has also complicated the calculus for Republicans, increasing the political risk of giving into conservative demands for a total rollback of the health law.

Since Trump’s election, polls show the law gaining in popularity. Over the congressional recess last month, GOP lawmakers faced raucous town halls and furious protesters demanding to keep their coverage.

If the GOP is unable to make good on seven years of election promises to repeal the law, they risk entering the 2018 elections without a tangible achievement and angering a Republican base that spent years fighting to get rid of the Affordable Care Act.

But if millions lose access to health coverage as a result of the GOP bill, it could expose members in swing districts to fierce attacks.

“Governing is tough,” says Robert Blendon, an expert on public attitudes about health care at Harvard University. “Some Republicans didn’t think through the politics of taking away coverage for 21 million people who now have it.”

Trump was elected President, to a great degree, because he is NOT a professional politician.

He is an American who wanted to make a difference.

That being the case, his penchant for not beating around the bush, i.e., being direct in his statements and actions, immediately put him at odds with the Vichy Republicans of the G.O.P.

The President is doing his best to fulfill all of the campaign promises he made to those of us who voted for him last November.

There are two impediments to him keeping his promises: the Democratic Party…and the Republican Party.

For every promise that we hear from Paul Ryan and the G.O.P . that they are going to support and assist Trump is fulfilling his campaign promises, there are also deals being struck in the Congressional Coatroom, where “business as usual” has always been conducted on Capitol Hill.

The Establishment Republicans seem to be quite content, in their moderately left-leaning stupor, even after the mandate that We The People delivered to them on November 8th, 2016, to be totally oblivious and tone deaf of their Base, average hard working middle-class Americans like you and me.

You know, the people who actually put them into office.

They keep on making bad choices.

Spineless Vichy Republicans have been a barrier to Republican victory for as long as I can remember. Like Quakers, Establishment Republicans seem to believe that passive resistance and reaching out to their sworn enemies as “friends”, is the way to defeat those who oppose you.

It has been especially bad during Obama’s reign, as the House and Senate Republican Leadership apparently cherished their friendship with the Democrats more than they did the wishes of the folks back home. Yes, they talked a good game, but so did Jon Lovitz in those “Liar Sketches” during the old days of Saturday Night Live, back when they were actually funny.

Yeah,  my wife Morgan Fairchild. Yeah, that’s it. That’s the ticket!

I am afraid that the noble sentiments that we hear and the “Hail Fellow well met” reaction to President Trump that we see from Paul Ryan and the rest of the entrenched Republicans are a reenactment of William Shakepeare’s “Julius Caesar”.

Beware the Ides of March.

Meanwhile, on the other side of the Political Aisle, you have San Fran Nan Pelosi and the rest of Democrats criticizing every single move that Trump makes…sometimes even before he makes one.

Backing them up is the Main Stream Media, like the Associated Press, who word their articles about Trump very carefully in their role as the Propaganda Arm of the Democratic Party.

However, they can not hide their bias. Their hatred of the 45th President shines through in both their prose and the individuals they use as sources for their articles.

Take “Robert Blendon of Harvard University” for example.

Prior to coming to Harvard, Dr. Blendon was Senior Vice-President at the Robert Woods Foundation.

This same foundation was mentioned in an article written by Daniel Horowitz titled “How the left and progressive foundations gave us ObamaCare — a law hated by so many” was posted on June 25, 2012 on foxnews.com

Perhaps most influential was the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, the largest philanthropy focused exclusively on health care. Long a backer of universal health care coverage, the foundation spent millions in the 90s backing state and national efforts to pass legislation expanding government-provided health care and even sponsored community forums in which Hillary Clinton promoted her health-care plan—this despite being ostensibly nonpartisan. Such was the foundation’s financial influence on the health care debate that by 1995 it alone accounted for almost 45 percent of all giving in the area of health policy in America.

Like the song goes,

It’s a small world after all.

To summarize, Trump is catching flack from both sides of the Political Aisle.

Clowns to the left of me…jokers to the right…here I am…

Everybody sing!

Just kidding.

I believe that he will be able to navigate his way through these shark-infested waters.

The success that he has achieved as President so far is not just a three-hour tour and he is not Skipper Jonas Grumby.

Although, Congressman Paul Ryan does resemble Gilligan.

But, I digress…

Until He Comes,

The Never-Ending Liberal Temper Tantrum and the Return of Patriotism

AmericanPatrioticStatueOfLibertyWallpaper-06

I’m a Yankee Doodle Dandy
A Yankee Doodle, do or die
A real live nephew of my Uncle Sam
Born on the Fourth of July

While spending time on Facebook Political Pages, which I really should cut down on, as it tends to increase my blood pressure to Mt. Vesuvius Levels, I continuously encounter individuals who echo the sentiments of the 44th President of the United States of America, Barack Hussein Obama, and the rest of the Far Left self-proclaimed geniuses who cost the Democratic Party the Presidency who believe that anybody who works hard for a living and believes in God and Country, is a Jingoistic imbecile.

According to the dictionary, Jingoism is an extreme chauvinism or nationalism marked especially by a belligerent foreign policy.

In other words, being guilty of believing that America is the greatest country on the face of God’s Green Earth and believing in American Exceptionalism.

For the past 8 years, children and young adults, attending American Institutes of Learning from kindergarten to college campuses have been taught by Liberal teachers and professors that America is “just another country” and to be a patriot is to somehow be close-minded, ignorant, and bigoted, not necessarily in that order.

Where the exceptionalism of America lies…is not in the Halls of Power…nor in the Halls of Academia. But, rather in the courage and spirit of the average American. A courage and spirit, which our history proves, has driven American Citizens to build a nation, which is indeed exceptional among all others.

The secret of this country’s exceptionalism is the “Average Joe”, the 9 to 5′er, working himself into the grave to try to provide for his family.

It was this same “Average Joe”, who fired the shot heard around the world and began the War for American Independence, who stormed the beaches of Normandy on D-Day in World War II, who waded through rice paddies in Vietnam, and who swallowed sand in Desert Storm and Desert Shield. The same “Average Joe” who, as a New York City Policeman or Fireman, ran up the stairs of the World Trade Center on 9/11/01, instead of running down them. The same “Average Joe”, who simply wants things to be easier in this life for his children and grandchildren, than he had it.

It is this same “Average Joe”, who takes family and friends in, when they are in the midst of a life-altering tragedy. The same “Average Joe”, who volunteers on a soup line or at a Senior Citizens Home, or, who begins a successful business in his basement.

And, it is this same “Average Joe” whom, being fed up with the Democratic Party’s Far Left Crusade against anything and everything traditionally American, went to the voting booth and elected Donald J. Trump, a Citizen Statesman, as our 45th President.

And that, boys and girls, is why the Liberals are still showing the world their posteriors while continuing to throw the longest mass temper tantrum in recorded history.

Their ego-driven political ideology did not permit them to consider the reality that theirs is still the minority political ideology in this nation.

While the East and “Left” Coast are indeed heavily-populated in their metropolitan areas with Liberals (some of them even Legal Citizens), the reality of what actually happened on November 8th, 2016 can been plainly seen on any Electoral Map.

It was an overestimation of their own intellect and an underestimation of the intelligence and unbridled love of average Americans for OUR COUNTRY, that cost the Democrats the Presidency.

As George Orwell said,

Patriotism is usually stronger than class hatred, and always stronger than internationalism.

So, to summarize, by labeling Patriotism as “Jingoism” and by ridiculing those of us who love our country and hold fast to Traditional American Values, the Democratic Party cost themselves the Presidency…going from the “In Crowd” to the Outhouse.

If I was a Modern American Liberal with any sort of self-awareness, I would be throwing a temper tantrum, too…over my own ungrateful arrogant ignorance that caused the defeat of  my Presidential Candidate.

Patriotism is cool…again!

Until He Comes,

Radical Islamist Leader of Soros-Funded “Day Without a Woman” March Arrested While Protesting Outside Trump Int. Hotel

ruiz14k

Yesterday was International Women’s Day.

I believe that we should honor the women in our lives.

I do so as often as I can, being blessed with a wonderful wife, daughter, sister, and niece.

Unfortunately, just as they do with everything they get involved in, “The Smartest People in the Room” turned a day meant to honor women, into an exercise in unwanted political activism.

Foxnews.com reported yesterday that

Billionaire George Soros gave $246 million to groups behind Wednesday’s “Day Without a Woman” protest, according to a report by a conservative think tank.

Wednesday is “International Women’s Day,” and schools in at least four states canceled classes so teachers and staff members could participate in “Day Without a Woman” demonstrations.

While movement organizers say the demonstration is meant to spotlight gender inequality, critics say it is intended to protest President Donald Trump. The strike was created by the same organizers of the historic Women’s March on Washington in January, which drew hundreds of thousands in protest of the president.

A report released Wednesday claims that Soros — whose net worth is $25.2 billion and who champions liberal causes — gave millions to groups behind the demonstration.

Of the march’s 544 partners, 100 groups received funding from Soros that totaled $246 million, according to the conservative Media Research Center. Such groups included Planned Parenthood, the Center for American Progress and People for the American Way (PFAW), the report claims.

“Those donations represent just a fragment of Soros’ massive global influence,” the Media Research Center said on its website. “His Open Society Foundations have given away more than $13 billion to push his globalist, anti-American views.”

In a related story, Breitbart.com reported that

New York, NY — The NYPD detained a dozen protestors, including the leader of the Women’s March, Linda Sarsour, during the ‘Day Without a Woman’ protest on Wednesday afternoon.

The Twitter account for the Women’s March movement, which is the umbrella group for Wednesday’s nationwide protest, showed photos of organizers being arrested and placed into an NYPD van, surrounded by photographers. According to a spokesperson for the Women’s March movement, 10 of their activists who helped organized the event were taken into custody.

“Today, the national leaders of the Women’s March on Washington gathered with allies and those participating in the day’s actions for a show of solidarity and revolutionary love,” the statement reads. “After a peaceful protest in New York City in honor of A Day Without a Woman, 10 organizers were arrested by the New York City Police Department in an act of civil disobedience.”

The arrests took place early Wednesday afternoon as protestors declined police pleas to disperse from their protest site at the Trump International hotel. More than 500 people, mostly women, were in attendance. Many were seen dressed in red to show solidarity, while some were wearing pink knitted hats and were carrying vulgar signs and chanting “F*ck Trump” and “New York Hates Trump.”

The participants began gathering outside Trump Tower at noon. By 1 p.m., the group then began to block traffic by marching towards Columbus Circle to form a “Human Wall” around the Trump International hotel.

Shortly after the arrests, police used a noise cannon to announce that pedestrians are prohibited from blocking the sidewalk or walking in the street.

An NYPD spokesman declined to say how many demonstrators were arrested or their charges until the protest ends.

Sarsour is a controversial figure because of her support for Islamic social rules — include rules that restrict women — and her combative politics towards Israel’s democracy.

I wonder if Soros paid her bail?

But, I digress…

To describe Ms. Sarsour as”controversial” is a understatement.

Hold on to something, boys and girls, here’s where it gets good…

Believe it or not, I am about to cite aljazeera.america.com

Last August, watching the images of militarized police cracking down on protesters in Ferguson, Missouri, after a police officer shot and killed 18-year-old Michael Brown, Linda Sarsour decided to get involved.

Sarsour, a Palestinian-American activist from New York City, has a growing national profile in battles against surveillance of Muslims, discrimination and Islamophobia. In recent years, her work in New York has brought her closer to African-American activists fighting stop and frisk, biased policing and mass incarceration.

In Missouri, Mustafa Abdullah, an organizer with the local branch of the ACLU, was staring at his computer on the Monday after Brown’s death, feeling overwhelmed by the torrent of complaints about rights violations coming in from the protests, when Sarsour called.

“Mustafa,” she said. “Where is the Muslim community on this?”

“I hadn’t even thought of that question,” Abdullah, who is Egyptian-American, said later. “Linda’s call was almost a prophetic call, a call to conscience.”

Immigrant Muslims have spent the years since 9/11 largely on the defensive against increased suspicion and bias. But a new generation — social media savvy and versed in the new tools of decentralized activism — is asserting itself through multiracial coalitions that challenge the parochial approach and sometimes the prejudices of its elders.

Sarsour, a blunt-talking, hijab-wearing, 35-year-old Brooklynite forged in the crucible of New York City politics, has played a galvanizing role in this mutation. A veteran of nuts-and-bolts local work — for instance, to raise Muslim voter turnout and have the Eid festivals made school holidays — she is also a regular presence on cable, sparring with the likes of anti-Islam activist Pamela Geller. But as the mobilization known as Black Lives Matter has taken flight, Sarsour has thrown her effort into building its Muslim contribution.

…Sarsour asked Abdullah to draft a letter to Brown’s family for Muslim groups to sign. Within days, they started a Muslims for Ferguson campaign, holding conference calls for college students, professionals and imams to hear from Ferguson residents and raising money for local organizers. In October, she visited Ferguson. “It was beautiful,” she said. “I was in hijab. I didn’t look like the other people there, and I was embraced.”

In April she walked 250 miles in eight days from Staten Island in New York to Washington, D.C., in the March2Justice with some 70 other activists to deliver a package of criminal justice reform demands. She co-chaired the march with Tamika Mallory, a former top aide to the Rev. Al Sharpton. A month earlier, Sarsour had been in the Capitol as the guest of U.S. Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand for the address to a joint session of Congress by the president of Afghanistan. This time, she rallied outside with Danny Glover, “Empire” actor Jussie Smollett and U.S. Reps. John Lewis, Yvette Clarke, Keith Ellison and Barbara Lee.

Two days earlier, the marchers from New York had been at Sunday services at the Empowerment Temple in Baltimore when Pastor Jamal Bryant told the congregation that Freddie Gray, who was critically injured during his arrest the previous week, had died. Sarsour and Mallory changed their route to join protests at the Western District police station, at the risk of being called carpetbaggers. “We made the choice to go, even though we were not locals,” Sarsour said. “It spoke to why we were marching.”

Back in New York, she joined rallies in support of the Baltimore protests. She ran a national call, like those after Ferguson, with Baltimore grass-roots activists — both Muslim and non-Muslim, including one who worked with the Nation of Islam, which many immigrant Muslims hold in low esteem. And she sparred on Facebook with a leader of the Islamic Society of North America over a statement that she felt focused too much on condemning looting while neglecting deep-rooted discrimination.

Accustomed to being called a “Islamist supremacist,” a label she greets with derision, by right-wing site JihadWatch, Sarsour gladly calls herself a radical for racial justice, especially in the past year. “My radicalizing moment was when Mike Brown was shot,” she said.

Dante Barry, the executive director of the Million Hoodies Movement for Justice, said, “I think Linda is a great co-conspirator in the fight for black liberation.”

“She was able to see the intersection between what was happening to the Muslim and black communities and connect them,” said Murad Awawdeh, the head of the Muslim Democratic Club of New York, which Sarsour co-founded. “We can always march together, but organizing for policy — five or 10 years ago, no one was doing this.”

Also, according to The Daily Caller, this little flower of womanhood recently met with an ex-Hamas Operative. And, she has familial ties to other Hamas Operatives.

Now, let me try to wrap my around this.

All of these losers…err…women marched and demonstrated for their freedom to kill babies and live they way they want to, because of “Gender Inequality” amd they are afraid of being “oppressed” under our new President, who once had a “locker room” conversation with another guy about how to “pick up” a woman at the party that they were attending.

And yet, the “Leader” of yesterday’s demonstration is a Radical Islamist and Pro-Sharia Law, championing a culture in which women are treated as slaves, live in veiled servitude (if they’re lucky), subject to verbal abuse, mutilation (including genital),  and honor killings, which also applies to their daughters.

The idiots in Hollyweird could not write a more ironic screenplay than this reality.

All of these “brilliant”, liberated, P@$$y Hat-wearing Liberal women marched like a bunch of cattle yesterday, being led by a woman whose ideology would oppress them more than they had ever thought of…even to the death.

The irony is overwhelming.

Meanwhile, the majority of American Women went about their lives being productive American Citizens and cherished and loved daughters, wives, mothers, and grandmothers.

It just proves what I have always said, that

Those who believe themselves to be the “Smartest People in the Room”…usually aren’t.

It also proves that

Beauty is only skin deep…but ugly goes to the bone.

Especially when you’re wearing a P@$$y Hat and participating in a march being led by a Radical Islamist and being funded by a Former Nazi Sympathizer.

Until He Comes,

Taking UMBRAGE: The “Russians” May Not Have Been Russian. “Oh, What a Tangled Web We Weave…”

cia-mind-control-esteban-santiago-1024x526-1-1024x526

I’m concerned that too much power will end up in the hands of too few. It’s always in somebody’s best interests to promote enemies, real or imagined. – Bill Sullivan (Robert DeNiro,), “The Good Shepherd”, 2006, (A movie about the early history of the CIA.)

USA Today reports that

A division of the Central Intelligence Agency stockpiled hacking techniques culled from other hackers, giving the agency the ability to leave behind the “fingerprints” of the outside hackers when it broke into electronic devices, the anti-secrecy group WikiLeaks alleges as it released thousands of documents Tuesday.

WikiLeaks says it acquired the documents from a source who wished to propel a debate about whether CIA’s hacking capabilities exceed the agency’s legal powers. If authentic, the documents appear to show that the CIA’s hacking division has developed software that enables the agency to break into smartphones, computers and even turn Internet-connected televisions into microphones.

The documents also suggest that one of the agency’s divisions – the Remote Development Branch’s UMBRAGE Group – may have been cataloguing hacking methods from outside hackers, including in Russia, that would have allowed the agency to mask their identity by employing the method during espionage.

“With UMBRAGE and related projects the CIA cannot only increase its total number of attack types, but also misdirect attribution by leaving behind the ‘fingerprints’ of the groups that the attack techniques were stolen from,” Wikileaks said in a statement.

The CIA, which keeps its organizational structure below the directorate level classified, declined to comment on the WikiLeaks document release and would not confirm that the hacking and cataloguing programs exists. USA TODAY has not been able to independently confirm the authenticity of the documents nor seen anything in them so far to indicate the tools were used in the U.S. – or at all.

The agency’s Center for Cyber Intelligence(CCI) produced more than a thousand hacking systems, trojans, viruses, and other “weaponized” malware, according to the documents. The malware and hacking tools were developed by the agency’s Engineering Development Group (EDG) within the CCI.

The EDG described its mission innocuously in one document: “To be the premiere development shop customized hardware and software solutions for Information Operations: utilizing operating system knowledge, hardware design, software craftsmanship, and network expertise to support the (Information Operations Center) Mission.” Another document says the EDG “develops software exploits and implants for high priority target cell phones for intelligence collection.”

The documents describe how the engineering team develops software to target individual cellphones for surveillance, suggesting that it is not attempting to infiltrate cellphones in bulk. For example, its guide says “completed software implants must be tested on an exact version … of the target phone.”

The documents also describe, in very general terms, collaboration among U.S. and other intelligence services to hack into various electronic devices. For example, one document suggests the U.S. National Security Agency purchased an exploit called “Earth/Eve,” which it shared with the CIA, and with GCHQ, the Britain’s main signals intelligence agency. The same documents list another exploit purchased under an NSA contract but “implemented by” GCHQ.

UMBRAGE catalogued software that tracks what physical actions a user is taking through the keyboard or mouse, collects passwords, captures webcams, and other hacking techniques, the documents show.

Among the treasure trove of documents, one refers to two common ways to hack a webcam operating on a Windows system. In another document, analysts comment on the pros and cons of certain key-logging hacks. Other documents note “anti-sandboxing” techniques that agency hackers can use to avoid malware detection by the subject of their surveillance.

If the release of the documents—which Wikileaks dubbed the Vault 7 archive—are proven to be authentic, it would mark the most significant leak of classified U.S. intelligence documents since the release of tens of thousands of documents taken from the National Security Agency by Edward Snowden in 2013.

Nathan White, a senior legislative manager at the international group Access Now, said that the stockpiling of digital vulnerabilities—without working with technology companies to patch them—hurts the cause of digital security.

“Many of these vulnerabilities could have been responsibly disclosed and patched,” White said. “This leak proves the inherent digital risk of stockpiling vulnerabilities rather than fixing them.”

Rush Limbaugh had some interesting things to say about these revelations, especially the UMBRAGE Program…

In other words, the CIA has the ability to hack anybody they want and make it look like the Russians are doing it or make it look like the ChiComs are doing it or make it look like the Israelis are doing it. They have the ability to do this. They have the ability to mask and mock various other state actors and make it look like — so I think because of everything that we’re learning here, the danger that Donald Trump has faced ever since he won the election is greater than we’ve ever known. And it is obvious to me that this whole business — well, I say obvious, I’m leaning toward being near certain that this entire pretext of Trump working with the Russians to affect the outcome of the election, folks, it is so ridiculous.

The Democrats have to know and they have to have known all along it didn’t really happen. There isn’t any evidence for it, and nobody has come forth in all these media reports, they’ve found not a single source that can confirm this, because it didn’t happen. But that’s only the pretext. The allegation is what permitted this ongoing investigation of Trump and, say, of Michael Flynn and whatever else was going on.

But once you establish in the minds of the media and in the minds of some in the public that the election was fraudulent, that somebody tampered with our sacred electoral process and that it might have been Donald Trump himself working with the Russians, why, then the door’s open wide and everybody wants you to get to the bottom of it. Which is exactly what the media and the Democrats, the American left, the establishment, exactly what they wanted, a pretext to have a never-ending investigation of Trump.

All the while, I think they probably knew there was nothing to the actual substance of the allegation. And in fact, the longer it went with no proof, the better, as evidenced by people like Thomas Friedman. (paraphrased) “Yep, there’s no evidence; that’s why we must investigate. It’s a serious charge! If it really happened, we’ve gotta find out. We’ve gotta get to the bottom of it.” And that opened the floodgates. That opened the doors of possibility for the establishment, the CIA, the deep state, the Democrats, the media to have never-ending investigations.

For the FBI to have a never-ending investigation of Trump and of his campaign and of his presidency, of his administration, of the people in it, and it’s exactly what we’re watching now: A never-ending investigation of every Trump appointee or nominee, an attempt to stop as many Trump executive orders as possible. Now, it’s gonna take weeks or longer to understand all the implications of the data in the WikiLeaks CIA dump. But one matter is abundantly clear to me. Someone who really supports Trump is trying to counter what’s happening to him.

There’s a whistleblower somewhere. I don’t know if it’s another Edward Snowden, but somebody in there has leaked these documents to WikiLeaks. Folks, 8,000. It’s called Vault 7, and it’s gonna take a long time to go through all of these. But it looks to me like somebody who supports Trump somewhere in the deep state is trying to impede and impugn the integrity of all of these investigations. And at the same time I think whoever did this, if it’s one person or many — whoever he, she, or they are — there’s no doubt in my mind that the Obama administration’s reputation is also under attack here. Because most of what the WikiLeaks CIA release contains is what the CIA has been doing during the Obama years, specifically 2013 to 2016. And you throw Trump’s weekend tweet into this that Obama was hacking him. I want to go back to something I said yesterday about the FISA court and these warrants. When it comes to national security warrants, it’s entirely possible that Trump has seen them. His attorney general, Jeff Sessions, could go get the applications. It is entirely… Now, no FISA warrant to my knowledge has ever been made public, since the FISA court was first begun in the Carter years in 1978.

I don’t think any of these requests, these warrants, applications for warrants have ever been released. But somebody in any administration can go look at them. They’re precisely in the executive branch, and the president and his attorney general would have unquestionable, unquestioned access to them. I find it fascinating that Trump’s allegation is timed in such a way that maybe somebody’s actually seen evidence that such a request was made to wiretap Trump Tower or Trump personally.

But you look at Trump’s weekend tweets, this CIA leak to WikiLeaks or the dump to WikiLeaks about the CIA is even more and more curious. The timing is exquisite.

So, has someone released this new information to WikiLeaks on behalf of Trump?

Is Trump absolutely right concerning all of his accusations about the “shadow government” within our Federal Government”?

Does it, indeed, reach all the way to George Soros, Barack Hussein Obama, Valerie Jarret, and other key players in Obama’s Administration?

How many “Deep State” holdovers from the Obama Administration are, even now, working to sabotage the plans of President Donald J. Trump?

Who can the President trust?

I wrote the other day that I thought that we were all in the middle of a Tom Clancy Novel being played out in real life.

The only way for a happy ending to this real life spy novel is for the 45th President of the United States to fulfill another one of his campaign Promises and “Drain the Swamp”, i.e., the Justice Department and all of the “alphabet agencies” of disloyal embedded operatives left behind by previous Administrations.

As Julius Caesar found out the hard way, in government, there is always someone looking to stab you in the back.

President Trump needs to get this accomplished as soon as possible.

After all, the Ides of March is only a week from today.

And there is, enough back stabbing going on already.

Until He Comes,
