Priorities, Priorities: Trump to Visit Americans in Flooded Louisiana. Obama and Hillary Golfing and Resting.

th1YUJE1B0Yesterday, the big story on the National News was that some ignorant Liberal “Artist” had sculpted naked statues of Republican Presidential Candidate, Donald J. Trump, placing them in several major cities, in an effort to show that “the emperor had no clothes”.

How can Trump be an “Emperor”? He holds no political power.

Anyway, besides being an absolutely ignorant, juvenile, and disgusting move, it has proven to be an object lesson in both karma and irony.

By the way, I heard that they sculpted a naked statue of Hillary also. However, for some reason it could not stand up on its own…and it frightened small children.

But, I digress…

Foxnews.com reports that

Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump and running mate Mike Pence will visit flood-damaged areas of Baton Rouge, La. Friday.

Record flooding across Louisiana has killed at least 13 people. Over 85,000 people have registered for federal disaster assistance, more than 30,000 have been rescued, and an estimated 40,000 homes have been damaged.

Trump addressed the flooding at a rally in Charlotte, N.C. Thursday night, calling Louisiana “a state that is very, very special to me.”

“Though words cannot express the sadness one feels at times like this,” Trump said, “I hope everyone in Louisiana knows that our country is praying for them, and standing with them to help them in these difficult hours.”

However, a spokesman for Louisiana’s governor said his office had not been contacted by the Trump campaign.

Richard Carbo, spokesman for Gov. John Bel Edwards, told the Associated Press Trump was welcome to Louisiana, “but not for a photo-op.” Instead, Carbo proposed Trump “consider volunteering or making a sizable donation to the LA Flood Relief Fund to help the victims of this storm.”

Earlier Thursday, the Baton Rouge Advocate called on President Barack Obama to cut short his Martha’s Vineyard vacation and visit the affected area. 

“The optics of Obama golfing while Louisiana residents languished in flood waters was striking,” an editorial said. “It evoked the precedent of the passive federal response to [Hurricane Katrina] in 2005, a chapter of history no one should ever repeat.”

In response, a senior White House official cited Louisiana Lt. Gov. Billy Nungesser, a Republican with a history of criticizing the Obama administration. 

“FEMA has been on the ground, and has really done a good job thus far through this disaster,” Nungesser told National Public Radio. “There’s been a huge change since Katrina in the response, in wanting to get people on the ground.”

Uh huh.

Well, I mean, after all, the President is too busy inspecting the local gold courses to be interrupted by disaster striking us “common folk”.

Especially us “ignorant rednecks” below the Mason/Dixon Line.

After all, as Boston.com reported earlier this week, a president has to have his priorities…

CHILMARK, Mass. (AP) — Adding a touch of politics to his vacation, President Barack Obama on Monday urged Democrats to campaign aggressively for the next 80 days to elect presidential candidate Hillary Clinton, saying “if we do not do our jobs, then it’s still possible for her to lose.”

“When I say do our jobs, what I mean is we are going to have to continue to be engaged, we are going to continue to have to write checks, we are going to continue to have to make phone calls and rally people behind her candidacy,” Obama said.

He also urged the Democratic donors at a Clinton fundraiser to help counter an “unrelenting negative campaign” against the former secretary of state “that has made a dent in the opinion of people even who are inclined to vote for her.”

Clinton’s standing among voters has suffered from perceptions that she is dishonest, along with her use of a private email server when she ran the State Department and the appearance of conflicts of interest between the department when she was in charge and her family foundation.

“We have to be aggressive in our campaign for 80 days, and that’s not a lot,” Obama said. “But when you think about the stakes, there’s nothing more important” than electing Clinton to continue the economic and other progress he described under his leadership.

Democrats Hank Goldberg and his wife, Carol Brown Goldberg, hosted the event at their home in Chilmark, the same town where the president is renting a vacation home. About 60 Obama and Clinton supporters paid between $10,000 and $33,400 to attend the event that was held in a tent on the sprawling property. Servers wore white aprons that said, “Thank You, President Obama.”

The proceeds will benefit Clinton’s campaign, the Democratic National Committee and state parties across the country.

Obama pointedly did not mention Donald Trump, Clinton’s Republican opponent, by name and said he’s tired of talking about the New York businessman he earlier this month dismissed as “unfit to serve.”

“I don’t have to make the case against her opponent because every time he talks he makes the case against his own candidacy,” Obama said.

The president said his wife, Michelle, is “very strict” about him actually being on vacation when he goes on vacation. But, he said, “she gave me special dispensation for this evening because she understands, just as all of you understand, how important this is.”

Obama is expected to campaign aggressively for Clinton in the fall run-up to the Nov. 8 elections.

Clinton did not join Obama at the fundraiser. Earlier Monday, she made her first campaign appearance with Vice President Joe Biden in his hometown of Scranton, Pennsylvania, a state both she and Trump are competing to win.

Let this sink in for moment, boys and girls.

While Americans were suffering, a sitting President of the United States of America placed campaigning for his party’s Presidential Candidate, his potential successor to “the throne” above going to offer support and condolences to those Americans whose lives have been changed forever by a natural disaster.

Additionally, the before-mentioned Democratic Presidential Candidate, Hillary Clinton, has chosen not to travel to that area, either, possibly due to the fact that not only is she unwilling to do so, the frail condition of her personal health will not allow her to.

The only one in this political scenario who is demonstrating that he actually cares about the people of Louisiana is Donald J. Trump, the American Businessman and Entrepreneur, the Citizen Statesman if you will, whom the President of the United States said was “unfit to serve”.

Irony is embarrassed.

Not since Marie Antoinette supposedly quipped that the starving French living under her and her husband’s rule should “eat cake”, has there been such an obvious disconnect between those in authority and “common folk”.

The fact of the matter is, these two representatives of “The Smartest and Most Caring People in the Room”, are once again showing to the American Public that they are neither smart nor caring.

Obama and Hillary both are looking like the Machiavellian Professional Politicians that they are.

They have clearly placed power before principle.

And, Trump, whom they have both claimed is “unfit to serve”, is making them both look very small.

Christianity in America: Will Biblical Prophecy Bring a ‘September to Remember’?

Last night, my bride and I spent the evening at a dinner party, in the company of members of my former small church group, who used to meet every Tuesday night.

We attend different churches now, but are still close.

One of our friends shared some information concerning possible Biblical Prophecy happening in the month of September.

Before I go into that, did you know?…

On June 30, 2015, a surprise blood moon appeared in the sky, that was only seen in the United States.

According to the National Weather Service, large wildfires in Canada have been burning. Due to extremely high winds smoke from these fires have traveled into the United States. 

According to NBC-Chattanooga, “the smoke should remain in the higher atmosphere and not affect air quality, it gives the moon and sun a rosy glow.

Here’s what causes the effect:

As light from the moon or sun enters the atmosphere it gets scattered by particles like water, aerosols, and in this case smoke. Green, blue, and purple colors are sent in all directions but colors with longer wavelengths like red, orange and yellow continue through the atmosphere and remain visible to the human eye.”

This ironically occurred right after the U.S. Supreme Court’s decision to legalize homosexual marriage nationally.

 Irony? Whatever helps you sleep at night.

About September…

What if there is a pattern going back more than a decade in American history that shows that the last two economic crises occurred on a predictable seven year cycle? What if this pattern occurred at the same time? What if there is a pattern going back more than a decade in American history that shows that the last two economic crises occurred on a predictable e as many other indications became evident, giving reason to believe that the pattern itself was not a coincidence? Would it be possible to predict when the next economic crisis would occur and prepare for it? Is there Bible prophecy of economic crisis that will occur on September 13, 2015? 

Rabbi Jonathan Cahn believes that he has discovered just such a pattern within recent American history that stretches back before the September 11 attacks of 2001. Cahn, the author of the best-selling book, “The Harbinger,” discovered the astounding fact that the financial crashes of 2001 and 2008 both occurred on the same day of Jewish calendar. What’s more, that date was the very day and year of the Jewish calendar on which ancient Biblical law called for debts to be erased.

Cahn’s discovery centers around the Shemitah years on the Jewish calendar. The Shemitah (Sabbath or sabbatical) year was established in Deuteronomy 15:1-2 when the ancient Israelites were instructed, “At the end of every seven years you shall grant a release of debts. And this is the form of the release: Every creditor who has lent anything to his neighbor shall release it; he shall not require it of his neighbor or his brother, because it is called the Lord’s release.” 

…The traditional day to forgive debts was Elul 29, the last day of the Jewish year. In 2001, this date occurred on September 17, the largest single day crash of the stock market in U.S. history according to rankings by the Wall St. Journal. The crash occurred as financial markets reopened in the wake of the September 11 terrorist attacks. Seven years later, the Elul 29 of 2008 was on September 29. This date superseded September 17, 2001 as the largest stock market crash as prices collapsed after the House of Representatives voted down a bipartisan plan to bail out banks with tainted “toxic” mortgage securities.

…Cahn’s theory does not merely hinge on the fact that dates on the Jewish calendar match up to catastrophic events in American history. In “The Harbinger,” Cahn points out many other parallels between recent events in the United States to events thousands of years ago just prior to the destruction of ancient Israel at the hands of the Assyrians, the ancestors of today’s radical Islamists. Cahn asserts that these specific parallels, including specific words, dates and actions, mean that God is shaking Americans in attempt to warn them about impending judgment if the country remains on its current course.

In “The Harbinger,” Cahn makes the point that the September 11 attacks were similar to an early attack by the Assyrians on ancient Israel. Rather than accepting the attack as a warning and a call to repentance, the Israelites made a vow of defiance, echoed in Isaiah 9:10. Interestingly, two prominent American elected officials referenced this obscure verse in the wake of the September 11 attacks and President Obama paraphrased it in reference to the 2008 financial collapse. 

Cahn goes on to describe how the September 11 attacks led to both record-breaking stock market crashes which occurred exactly seven years apart on the Jewish calendar. One of the main tools used to stave off a recession in the wake of the attacks was a cut in interest rates. With interest rates at abnormally low levels, saving was discouraged and people were motivated to take advantage of cheap loans to buy houses. The increased demand for real estate inflated a bubble that eventually burst in 2008, causing the financial crisis. 

The process by which a nation attempts to defy God’s plans for judgment and call for repentance by using its own devices to resolve the crisis is referred to as the Isaiah 9:10 effect by Rabbi Cahn. The irony is that the action of the nation under judgment instead “sets about a chain of events that brings about the very calamity that it sought to avert,” as Cahn wrote in “Harbinger.” 

On September 13, 2015, one year from today, will come the next Elul 29 of a Shemitah year. The Shemitah year begins on the evening of September 24, 2014 according to American calendars. September 25 is Rosh Hashanah, Tishrei 1 of the Jewish year 5775. The entire year is Shemitah, but Cahn writes in “The Mystery of the Shemitah” that “it is at the Shemitah’s end (September 13, 2015) and its wake that the most dramatic repercussions are felt.”

In a 2013 interview, Examiner asked Rabbi Cahn whether he believed that September 13, 2015 would be the date of another “shaking” or judgment. “I haven’t been led to be dogmatic concerning what may or may not happen,” he answered, “but I think it’s wise to keep our eyes open.”

In “The Mystery of the Shemitah” he goes further. Cahn points out that since September 13, 2015 is on Sunday, American financial markets will not be open that day, but “there is the possibility of a trigger event that takes place outside the time of the markets’ openings that could bring about a market collapse – as in the case of 9/11.” He also notes that the last day that markets will be open prior to Elul 29 will be Friday, September 11, 2015. 

Cahn also points out that there will be two solar eclipses in 2015. The first will be on the exact center point of the Shemitah, March 20. The other will occur on the last day of the Shemitah: Elul 29 or September 13.

Nevertheless, he writes, “Nothing significant has to happen…. The phenomenon may manifest itself in one cycle, not in another, and then again in the next. And the focus of the message is not date-setting but the call of God to repentance and return. At the same time, something of significance could take place, and it is wise to note the times.”

Whether a shaking and judgment occurs in this Shemitah or not, Cahn leaves no doubt that, without repentance, it will occur. “No nation,” he writes, “can defy the ways and will of Him who is its source of blessings and expect those blessings to continue.”

I posted the scripture at the beginning of today’s blog, because it reminds of the state of American Society.

The concepts of right and wrong have become so blurred that even well-known pastors of “megachurches”, such as T.D. Jakes” of The Potter’s House, are coming out on favor of “Gay Marriage” and LGBT Relationships.

Speaking of clergymen, halfway around the world, in the Radical Muslim Rogue Nation of Iran, an American Pastor, jailed for preaching the Word of God, and refusing to worship a pedophile, sits languishing in horrible conditions, while his wife and children petition our leaders to get up off their duffs and bring him home.

Meanwhile, The President of the United States of America and his Secretary of State, instead of demanding this American Clergyman’s immediate release, have instead, acquiesced to the wishes of this Rogue Nation, and have set a timeline for them to have the capability to build the means of the nuclear destruction of the United States of America.

In Iraq, Christians and innocent Muslims are being killed by barbarians who have sworn to hoist their flag above our White House.

Nationally, America’s economy remains in the tank, with more and more Americans choosing to drop out of the work force, 144,000 announced just recently, in disgust and humiliation. 37.2% of America’s Work Force, to be exact.

A lot of these “drop-outs” are Americans over 50, like myself, who are being intentionally ignored, because of our age, which seems to matter more than our business acumen and wealth of experience.

Meanwhile, the very fabric of our society is being torn asunder, through the dissipation of morality and the glorification of evil.

Satanists, Vampires, and Zombies…oh, my!

And, of course, legalizing marijuana has no consequences. So what if elementary school kids are being caught selling their parents stash? And, DUI accidents are up?

Yep. No consequences at all.

What we seem to be heading for is not simply an immoral society, but, an amoral one, whose concept of right and wrong is “Whatever Gets You Through the Night (It’s Alright. It’s Alright.)”, and whose ultimate authority is not the God of Abraham, but a Godless Central Government, whose credo is

From each according to his abilities, to each according to his needs. (Karl Marx)

Just as Marxism has failed wherever it has been tried before, so will it fail here.

Just as amorality and licentiousness led to the destruction of the Roman Empire, so, if unchecked, will it lead to America’s.

The galling thing is the fact that, even though American Christians remain over 70% of the population, we are propagandized and suppressed in both the Old and New Media, to make it seem as if WE are the Minority, when, in fact, WE are the overwhelming Majority.

It is this New Generation of Amoral Socialists, who are in fact, just a tiny, albeit vocal, Minority of America’s population.

So, what can an average Christian American, like you and me, do about this “Tyranny of the Minority”?

What can we do, if Rabbi Cahn’s prophecy actually turns out to be true?

What if Our Creator has, indeed, taken His Hand of Providence, away from our nation?

As the Apostle Paul tells us in Ephesians, we can STAND.

However, you cannot stand without “the full armor of God”. I have found, as have my family and friends, that the better that you are doing, in terms of your Christian Walk, the harder that you will be attacked.

10Finally, be strong in the Lord and in the strength of His might. 11Put on the full armor of God, so that you will be able to stand firm against the schemes of the devil. 12For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the powers, against the world forces of this darkness, against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places.…- Ephesians 6:10-12

By now. you’re probably asking, “So what’s the point of all this, KJ?”

We are given free will by our Creator…will to make choices and decisions on the direction of our lives. Being human, we often don’t make the right decisions and being human, those decisions have the potential to lead us down a dark path.

Whether is in reality or strictly in the close quarters of our own consciousness, the path we choose to follow is up to us. However, our parents, family, and friends can make a difference in our journey and I thank God that through His Grace I was given a Father who made sure that I received loving instruction in The Way in which I should go.

We still live in the greatest country on the face of the earth and we still have a responsibility to one another.

The Light or the Darkness. The choice is up to each and every one of us.

Obama’s State of Denial…Err…the Union 2015

“We are fifteen years into this new century. Fifteen years that dawned with terror touching our shores; that unfolded with a new generation fighting two long and costly wars; that saw a vicious recession spread across our nation and the world. It has been, and still is, a hard time for many.

But tonight, we turn the page.”

“At this moment — with a growing economy, shrinking deficits, bustling industry, and booming energy production — we have risen from recession freer to write our own future than any other nation on Earth. It’s now up to us to choose who we want to be over the next fifteen years, and for decades to come.

Will we accept an economy where only a few of us do spectacularly well? Or will we commit ourselves to an economy that generates rising incomes and chances for everyone who makes the effort?”

As an asthmatic child, I was sick…a lot. I found an escape from my condition in the world of comic books.

My favorite comic book hero was Superman. He fought for Truth, Justice, and the American Way. He went about doing good.

One of Superman’s biggest foes was Bizarro, a Superman created in his image, who turned out to be the exact opposite of Superman. In fact, the entire world that this character lived on was bizarre…just like whatever planet that Barack Hussein Obama is currently living on.

…Because he sure isn’t living on this one.

As I wrote yesterday, all of Obama’s Domestic Policies have failed spectacularly.

37.2% of America’s Workforce…are no longer in it.

Obama attempt to cram Marxist Economic Theory down our throats still tastes as sour as when he told Joe the Plumber that “spreading the wealth around is good for everybody”.

This failed president still insists that Socialism will work here, despite the fact that it has failed everywhere else that it has been tried.

His Foreign Policy has been a disaster.

ISIS is laughing in his face. Iran continues its “Nuclear Enrichment Program”. And, just yesterday, Muslim Terrorists invaded the Palace in Yemen’s Capital.

“A smarter kind of leadership”, my hindquarters.

Concerning the Internet, Obama and his minions don’t want to protect our FREEDOM, they want to LIMIT IT.

After all, no one should insult the name of the Prophet…or Obama.

Obama’s incompetency, accompanied by his undeserved arrogant aloofness, has finally started to hit home with even his most ardent supporters.

His dwindling cadre of supporters will continue to make excuses for Obama’s failures, but nobody’s buying it, here or abroad.  Obama has stubbornly set himself on his own flight path and, after the Political Massacre of the November Mid-Term Election,  the next two years promises to be the longest kamikaze flight on record.

 One could possibly use the Peter Principle to describe this Manchurian President.

The Peter Principle is a theory that proposes that, as people rise in a hierarchy, they eventually rise to their level of incompetence.

However, that does not apply in the case of President Barack Hussein Obama.

He started out unvetted and incompetent.

Now, he’s become a disaster.

Obama and Obamacare: The Worst is Yet to Come

obamacaremoeIf you surf the Internet over to the “Healthcare Overview Page” of whitehouse.gov. , you will find the following promises concerning the Affordable care Act, unaffectionately known as Obamacare:

For those Americans who already have health insurance, the only changes you will see under the law are new benefits, better protections from insurance company abuses, and more value for every dollar you spend on health care. If you like your plan you can keep it and you don’t have to change a thing due to the health care law. The President addressed concerns from Americans who have received letters of policy cancellations or changes from their insurance companies in an interview with NBC News, watch the video or read a transcript.

For the uninsured or those who don’t get their coverage through work, a key component of the Affordable Care Act will take effect on October 1, when the new Health Insurance Marketplace open[s] for business, allowing millions of Americans to comparison shop for a variety of quality, affordable plans that best meet their health care needs.

…The law helps you by bringing down health care costs and making sure your health care dollars are spent wisely. Insurance companies will now be accountable to their customers for how they are spending premium dollars, and how much they are raising rates. Plus, the new law will help lower costs through new tax credits and new marketplaces where insurers will have to compete for your business.

As Americans found out a long time ago, all of President Barack Hussein Obama’s promises have expiration dates.

In the past, he and his Administration have been able to spin and obfuscate these broken promises to their advantage.

NOT THIS TIME.

Not even the Obama Administration can hide the disastrous roll-out of Obama’s Signature Legislation, Obamacare.

At 2:30 p.m. Central Yesterday, the official numbers were released via conference call by Secretary of Health and Human Services, Nurse Ratched, err…I mean Kathleen Sibelius.

That’s okay, Madame Secretary. If I were you, I wouldn’t show my face in public, either. This Administration needs a scapegoat to throw under the bus and you appear to be the next on the list.

According to Sebelius, 106, 185 Amercans successfully selected Obamacare through the exchanges. However you have to remember that number includes those Americans who simple chjose a plan and put it in their “cart” on the website, but never actually bought a plan.

Of that number, only 26,794 came through HealthCare.gov, the federal exchange site that serves 36 states. 79,391 came from state websites.

As bad as this news is, things are going to get much, much worse. Rush Limbaugh explains…

…right now, that’s the only thing affected is individual policies. Nevertheless, even though that limited number of people is affected, that limited number of people is causing all of this havoc. The other shoe to drop in 2014 is when this I same thing starts happening to people who get their health care at work. We’re not talking about employer-provided coverage here yet. That shoe doesn’t drop until next year. Right now, it’s just the individual insurance market that’s being affected by the exchanges.

It’s just the individuals who are unable to keep the plan they like. Wait until everybody who’s insured by their boss begins to lose their plan! That happens in January of next year. Then all hell is gonna break loose because then we’re talking about the vast majority of the people in this country. Admittedly, folks, the individual insurance market is not the major part of it. I mean, how many of you…? Let me just ask you the question. How many of you have a health insurance policy, or had, that you went out and bought yourself?

Show of hands. Let me see. Probably two out of 10 people. The vast majority of people get their health insurance at work, and none of this impacted them. They haven’t lost their plans yet. They haven’t had their plans taken away from ’em. Their premiums and all that stuff hasn’t gone up yet. That doesn’t happen in the employer-provided market until January. Now, wait until 80% of people with health insurance start being impacted by Obamacare, and it’s gonna make what’s happening now look like Romper Room.

See, if you get your insurance at work as an employee benefit, none of what’s being discussed here really has impacted you yet. About the only way it has is maybe you’ve been converted to part time. You may have lost your health insurance at work because your company can’t stay in business with the new rules. But for those of you who still get health insurance at work — and there’s one exception, talked about it yesterday. If your company is self-insured none of this is gonna matter to you until they get around to fixing it so that you do get hurt by it.

Right now the self-insured market is not impacted by any of this. There aren’t any rules or restrictions in the self-insured market. And again, the self-insured market is when your boss, your company, just pays for your health care directly, without an insurance policy. They set aside the same amount of money to insure everybody that works there. An employee goes to the doctor, has to get an operation, the company pays the hospital directly, the doctor directly, not an insurance company. That’s called self-insure. And Obamacare doesn’t touch them. Republicans got a carve-out for that. Now the Democrats are trying to fix that.

So the only way that you who have your insurance through your boss will not be impacted in January is if your company self-insures, and I don’t know how many it is.

…Most people are insured at work. Wait ’til they start losing their policies. Wait ’til they lose their plans that they like. We’re talking tons and tons of people. That’s the other shoe to drop in 2014. Nobody’s brought it up yet. I just want you to have a heads-up.

5 million Americans have lost their health insurance policies already as a result of Obamacare. 5 million.  

Before another American is hurt by this disastrous attempt at socializing America’s Healthcare System, it needs to end…now.  Senator Ted Cruz has been right, all along.

Repeal Obamacare now….before more Americans suffer.
