My 4,000th Blog: Since Biden Won’t Do It, Here is KJ’s State of the Union

See the source image

As the title above says, this is the 4,000th blog that I’ve written on this website.

I’ve been involved in watching the news and observing politics ever since college, when I was named the News Director of my campus radio station, back in 1978. I was on the air when John Lennon was shot and went live with the story.

I cast my very 1st vote in 1980 for Ronald Wilson Reagan.

In 1988, I began listening to Rush Hudson Limbaugh on our local talk radio station in the Memphis area. I was fascinated by what I was hearing. Here was a guy from Cape Girardeau, Missouri who was saying everything that I believed in over my car radio.

In April of 2010, after spending some time in the comments section of hotair.com with a lot of average Americans just like me who became my social media friends and fans, I decided to start a daily blog in which I covered everything from a Christian American Conservative point of view.

Over the years, I’ve been able to satisfy my quest for knowledge and vent over the political affairs of the day in a manner which has actually been read by thousands of people.

According to WordPress, my blog has been read by people from all over the world. And that my friends, is a great honor.

All that being said, please allow me to speak to you about our country and the State of the Union.

The state of the Union is strong.

The Democrats in charge of our country are a bunch of fascists

The first thing they did after assuming power was to put a fence around the Capitol Building and the White House in order to keep us from holding them accountable for the passage of laws and executive orders which the overwhelming majority of average Americans would not and do not agree with.

Just like when Vladimir Lenin and the Bolsheviks took over Russia, the Democrats installed a vacillating, incompetent figurehead in Joe Biden to take a seat in the Oval Office, preceded by great men whom he cannot possibly measure up to in his diminished state.

I give Biden less than a year, as he is visibly getting worse and worse as he battles dementia.

His puppetmasters, whom I believe to be Barack Hussein Obama, Valerie Jarrett, and Susan rise, will not be able to maintain their illusion of Biden being a working president for long, even speaking in the air piece which he constantly wears

So, who does that leave us as our president?

Vice-President Kamala “Heels Up” Harris, whose only qualification for the office is the fact that she can kick her legs up higher…and wider… than any president before her.

Yeah… I said it.

Would you like to hear some good news?

The overwhelming majority of average Americans still believe in the traditional Faith and Values System of our fathers and forefathers. We still love God, our family, and our country.

The Democrats know this. That is another reason why they have built a fence around Washington. They are scared of us. And, rightfully so.

Today, at 2:30 p.m. Central, at the annual CPAC Convention, being held in sunny Florida, Former President Donald J. Trump is going to deliver a stemwinder of a speech in which he will lay the future of our nation out for us. He is going to continue to fight for us.

Trump is going to outline a strategy by which we will take back the House, the Senate, and the Presidency. Before he’s done speaking today, the bureaucrats in Washington, D.C., the Democrats on Capitol Hill, and their minions in the Main Stream Media are going to wet their pants and need to find safe spaces.

In conclusion, I believe that our forefathers provided an example which we should follow over the next 4 years. After enduring persecution for generations, they loaded their families into sailing ships and set out across the Atlantic for months at a time to a new land filled with unknown peril. They did this so they could escape tyrannical despots and worship God as they pleased. Then the landed, they forged a new country out of the wilderness. A land which was destined to be the greatest country on the face of the Earth.

Over the next 4 years, as average Americans, it will be our job to fight to preserve this country…to fulfil the vision of our forefathers through strength, courage, love, and a reverence for the Creator who gave us this Sacred Land and our Founding Documents to guide us.

It won’t be easy. Doing the right thing never is.

I can and will promise you one thing :

I will keep writing…

Trump Rallies the Conservative Base at CPAC With a 90 Minute Barnburner of a Speech…Why the Dems Don’t Stand a Chance

President Trump makes fun of Democratic Candidate “Mini Mike” Bloomberg

FoxNews.com reports that

President Trump rallied the core of the conservative activist base Saturday with a fiery address mercilessly mocking his potential Democratic presidential foes, railing against the “Washington swamp” and shaming Republican Sen. Mitt Romney for defecting on the final impeachment vote.

Closing out the annual Conservative Political Action Conference outside Washington with a speech that lasted over 90 minutes, Trump ripped into what he called the “hate-filled left-wing mob.” But in the wake of impeachment and the Russia probe, Trump praised Republicans for sticking together.

The crowd at CPAC booed Romney, R-Utah, who in 2012 won the conservative conference’s straw poll for the preferred GOP presidential nominee. But times have changed after he voted to convict Trump on the abuse of power article approved by the House.

“He got some good publicity,” Trump said. “He’s a low life.”

Trump went on to sound off on the 2020 Democratic presidential candidates in deeply personal terms, hitting hard against former New York City Mayor Mike Bloomberg, whom he has dubbed “mini Mike,” and Sen. Elizabeth Warren, D-Mass., whom he calls “Pocahontas” over her ancestry controversy.

Going after “mini Mike,” he said of Bloomberg’s debate debut, “That was probably the worst debate performance of any presidential debate.”

“Boy, did Pocahontas destroy him,” Trump continued, while diverting momentarily to mock Warren’s Native American ancestry test. “And look what I did to her—she went out and got a test. Remember when I said I have more Indian blood in me than she does, and I have none. Would love to have some, but I have none. … She was really mean to mini Mike, I’ll tell you, the way she treated him.”

Then Trump turned to theatrics to taunt his fellow New Yorker, as Trump said of the diminutive ex-mayor: “He’s going ‘oh, get me off the stage.’” Trump crouched behind the podium at CPAC, glancing over the top, pretending to be Bloomberg, whom he has repeatedly tormented over his height.

Trump also slammed Bloomberg for spending hundreds of millions of his personal money on his presidential race, saying he “writes checks like a drunken sailor” and has “very bad people” advising him.

“I know some of his people, they are ripping him off, they’re bad people and they are laughing all the way to the bank,” Trump said. “‘Keep running, Mike. Keep doing it Mike.'”

Trump went on to take a “poll” of the audience, asking them to “scream like hell” for the candidate “you think I should run against…in other words, because we’re going to beat him,” giving the audience the choice between Sanders and Biden.

CPAC attendees screamed louder for Sanders, giving a standing ovation.

“Joe’s not going to be running the government — he’s going to be sitting in a home somewhere,” Trump, 73, remarked after the poll, but noted in his speech that he predicted Biden, who is 77, would “have a big win” in Saturday’s South Carolina primary.

Trump also mocked Biden for his frequent campaign trail gaffes, including misstating the number of gun deaths in America during last week’s debate.

Biden campaign rapid response director Andrew Bates swiped at Trump afterward, telling Fox News: “A year from now, Joe Biden will have brought character, honor, and decency back to the White House. He’ll be rebuilding the American middle class, fighting to give every American healthcare — instead of trying to cost millions their coverage — rallying the world against climate change, and reversing Donald Trump’s repugnant and un-American immigration policies. Donald Trump, on the other hand, will be ranting on Twitter about how Deutsche Bank is refusing to give him a loan for ‘Trump Tower Moscow: The Second Try.’”

Trump also claimed he didn’t know how “dirty” D.C. would be and “how deep” the swamp would be, as he riffed on one of his favorite campaign trail rallying cries.

“I never knew the swamp was so bad. It’s really bad, but we’re winning, and we’re winning not easy. A lot of dirty people, a lot of very, very bad people–bad people,” he said. “I do think justice will be had. … Or I wouldn’t be very happy right now.”

The president went on to tout the military and their success in taking out ISIS founder Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi and Iranian Gen. Qassem Soleimani, saying: “We took that son of a b— out.”

But he also defended the administration’s newly signed agreement with the Taliban as part of an effort to bring thousands of U.S. troops home from the post- 9/11 Afghanistan war.

“But American forces cannot be the policemen for the entire world—a lot of time we’re not even appreciated, taken for granted,” he said.

“We signed a deal with the Taliban so that we can hopefully begin the immediate process of finally bringing our troops back home,” Trump said. “19 years…We just signed it. We really have to thank the families and those incredible people who lost their lives.”

Trump, though, added: “The Taliban are great fighters. They’re great fighters.”

The president shifted to national security and border security, saying his administration has taken “the most aggressive action to control our borders.”

“We intend to keep radical Islamist terrorists the hell out of our country, and we’re keeping them out,” Trump said.

The president’s address to CPAC came after he gave a press conference on coronavirus at the White House earlier in the day where he assured the nation, while also announcing new travel restrictions.

During his speech, he offered help to nations affected, like Iran, saying: “All they have to do is ask.”

Trump has addressed CPAC every year since taking office in 2017.

The president’s speech follows days of panels, featuring White House officials, members of his re-election campaign, prominent Republican lawmakers and members of the conservative media making the case against socialism.

The theme at the annual conservative gathering outside Washington has been “America vs. Socialism.” The rhetoric at the event has repeatedly turned back to the current front-runner for the Democratic presidential nomination, democratic socialist Sen. Bernie Sanders.

Vice President Mike Pence also addressed CPAC, warning conservatives against socialism—saying: “Freedom works. Socialism doesn’t.”

Pence, during his CPAC appearance, rallied the crowd and made the case for Trump’s re-election.

“Elections are about choices,” Pence said, while saying the 2020 race will give voters the choice between socialism and freedom.

“The choice has never been clearer, the stakes have never been higher,” Pence said. “Men and women of CPAC, we’ve got work to do. The truth is, it won’t be enough to win the next election. We’ve got to win the next generation.”

Indeed.

Truer words were never said.

I wrote recently about the fact that American children have been programmed over the last 3 decades, at least, to eschew Traditional American Faith and Values and to embrace the failed political and cultural philosophy of the Far Left Democrats.

The whole Trump Derangement Syndrome Movement is a reaction by the Democrats to not only losing the 2016 President Election but the fact that they believed that they were finally, with Hillary Clinton in the White House be able to finish “Radically changing” our Sovereign Nation, a mission which was started under Former (Thank God) President Barack Hussein Obama.

Everything that the Democrats have attempted to use to remove the President from office has failed miserably, even their recent attempts to blame the coronavirus on him and their claims that America’s Economy is not actually booming under President Trump.

Nothing is working for the Democrats. They are failing at everything, including presenting an electable Presidential Candidate.

This is the weakest field of Democratic Primary Candidates since the days of George Mc Govern and Walter Mondale. And, as seen during the recent KAG Rallies and the President’s appearance at CPAC yesterday, he is having a blast making fun of the Dems and their pathetic schemes and candidates.

By the way, was it just me, or did you also spit out your Diet Coke all over the Computer Monitor when you read about Biden’s Rapid Response Director saying that

“A year from now, Joe Biden will have brought character, honor, and decency back to the White House.” ?

Heck, most of the time Sleepy Joe doesn’t even know what state he is in, besides a state of dementia.

If Biden were elected, he might press the button in the nuclear briefcase, thinking that he was calling for his evening “hot toddy”.

Right now, the socialist idiocy of their political party must be driving any Democrats who are still “normal” Americans absolutely bonkers.

That is why so many of every ethnicity are leaving the Democrats for the Re.publican Party.

And, that’s a good thing.

As Detective John McClane (Bruce Willis) said in the great movie “Die Hard”.

“Welcome to the party, pal!”

After CPAC, Trump Plays “Truth or Consequences” With the Main Stream Media

trump-at-cpac-2011-by-gage-skidmore

“A few days ago I called the fake news the enemy of the people. And they are. They are the enemy of the people.

Because they have no sources, they just make ’em up when there are none. I saw one story recently where they said, “Nine people have confirmed.” There’re no nine people. I don’t believe there was one or two people. Nine people. And I said, “Give me a break.” Because I know the people, I know who they talk to. There were no nine people. But they say “nine people.” And somebody reads it and they think, “Oh, nine people. They have nine sources.” They make up sources. They’re very dishonest people. In fact, in covering my comments, The dishonest media did not explain that I called the fake news the enemy of the people. The fake news. They dropped off the word “fake.” And all of a sudden the story became the media is the enemy.

They take the word “fake” out. And now I’m saying, “Oh no, this is no good.” But that’s the way they are.

So I’m not against the media, I’m not against the press. I don’t mind bad stories if I deserve them. And I tell ya, I love good stories, but we don’t go… I don’t get too many of them. But I am only against the fake news, media or press. Fake, fake. They have to leave that word. I’m against the people that make up stories and make up sources. They shouldn’t be allowed to use sources unless they use somebody’s name. Let their name be put out there. Let their name be put out.” – President Donald J, Trump, Address to CPAC, 2/24/17

Foxnews.com reports that

President Trump’s war with the press intensified Friday when several journalists perceived as critical of the administration charged they were barred from a press briefing with White House spokesman Sean Spicer and lodged a complaint.

Those claiming they were barred included The New York Times, The Los Angeles Times, CNN and Politico. Fox News, which was not kept from covering the event, nonetheless joined a complaint by the chair of the five-network television pool.

The action, which came after Trump delivered a rousing speech to a friendly crowd at the Conservative Political Action Conference, also drew a rebuke from the White House Correspondents’ Association.

“The WHCA board is protesting strongly against how today’s gaggle is being handled by the White House,” Jeff Mason, WHCA president said in a statement. “We encourage the organizations that were allowed in to share the material with others in the press corps who were not.”

The move marked an escalation in the tumultuous relationship between the White House and some members of the media, although the White House denied it went out of its way to bar specific outlets. A spokeswoman said the event was a “pool” event, which by definition is limited.

“We invited the pool so everyone was represented,” White House spokeswoman Sarah Sanders said. “We decided to add a couple of additional people beyond the pool. Nothing more than that.”

Friday’s briefing was indeed initially deemed a pool event. A press pool is a 13-member group that includes reporters who represent the five major networks, print organizations and the wire services. The pool’s duty is to attend the event and then distribute the information to other media outlets.

Once the pool was expanded, yet certain media outlets excluded, press representatives argued the effect was the same as a selective ban.

“Nothing like this has ever happened at the White House in our long history of covering multiple administrations of different parties,” Dean Baquet, the Times’ executive editor, said in a statement. “We strongly protest the exclusion of The New York Times and the other news organizations. Free media access to a transparent government is obviously of crucial national interest.”

CNN also weighed in, calling it “an unacceptable development by the Trump White House.”

“Apparently this is how they retaliate when you report facts they don’t like,” the broadcasting organization said in a statement. “We’ll keep reporting regardless.”

The Associated Press chose not to participate in the White House media gaggle.

“The AP believes the public should have as much access to the president as possible,” Lauren Easton, AP’s director of media relations said in a statement.

The news organizations that were allowed to attend included Breitbart News, whose former chief executive, Steve Bannon, is Trump’s chief strategist. Bannon has repeatedly described the press as “the opposition party.”

At the CPAC speech, Trump railed against the media for relying on anonymous sources for stories that cast his month-old administration in a negative light.

He went so far as to say reporters “shouldn’t be allowed to use sources unless they use somebody’s name,” though some of his own administration officials recently held briefings with news media where they insisted no names be used.

Unfortunately, President-elect Trump will never be able to please the Main Stream Media.

Nor should he have to.

The Presidency of the United States of America is the most important leadership position on the Face of God’s Green Earth.

The Main Stream Media knows that.

The problem is, the Main Stream Media, like the rest of their Modern American Liberal Brothers and Sisters, are willing participants in the never-ending National Temper Tantrum being thrown over the election of Donald J. Trump as the 45th President by us rubes here in Flyover Country.

In fact, they are so upset that they have abandoned any pretense of subjectivity, publishing stories about Trump and his Administration, that have all of the veracity of a “Batboy” Article published in the Weekly World News, which used to be available at the checkout lane of the grocery store, but has now morphed into a website.

The Main Stream Media not only has lost their meal ticket with the defeat of the Queen of Mean, Hillary Clinton, but they also have to face the reality of being “punked” for at least four years by Donald J. Trump, who has been treating them like a school of Largemouth Bass, baiting the hook with the promise of a big announcement or story, causing them to pack the room wherever Trump is speaking, only to find out that they have been used to gain free publicity for Mr. Trump and whatever cause he is trying to forward that day.

In fact, Trump has made the Media look tremendously naïve and stupid on several occasions, in scenes reminiscent of Lucy Van Pelt promising to hold the football for Charlie Brown to kick, only to pull it away at the last minute leaving a helpless Charlie Brown to wipe out, tumbling head over heels.

The Main Stream Media are no longer in control of the dissemination of the news…and they know it.

Between Trump’s playing them like Charlie Daniels playing a fiddle and average Americans becoming their own reporters through the use of Social Media, “professional journalists” have watched their influence over the daily lives of Americans dwindle and diminish right before their very eyes.

And, quite frankly, they don’t like it one bit.

That is why they continue to try to bring down Trump.

They have been behaving like spoiled little brats who need a timeout.

So, yesterday, the President of the United States of America gave them one.

The Liberal sycophants of the Main Stream Media’s reaction to being left out of yesterday’s press briefing reminded me of a husband, who has been verbally and physically abusive to his wife for years, finally getting thrown out of the house, who can’t figure out, for the life of him, what he did wrong.

So far, the reactions to Trump’s isolation of the Walter Winchell Wannabes by average Americans, appear to be very much on the side of the President.

The general consensus, here in the Heartland, is that, like the abusive spouse whom I mentioned earlier, these Democratic Operatives calling themselves journalists had it coming.

My parents always warned me that there were consequences for telling lies.

Yesterday, the MSM received theirs.

Palin Has 70% Favorability Rating Among Republican Voters. Libs Fear Arctic Fox.

pailinbiggulp2I remember the first time I heard anything about Sarah Palin.

I was listening to Glenn Beck, who was talking about possible running mates for the less-than-appealing old codger, John “Maverick” McCain. He started describing the very real possibility that the Republicans were actually going to choose a woman to run as their Vice-Presidential Candidate. I immediately thought to myself, “Self…this chick had best be someone spectacular to liven up this upcoming ‘Campaign of the Walking Dead’.”

And…she was.

From the moment Alaskan Governor Sarah Palin was announced, she became a shimmering star in in an otherwise dark and dull Republican Presidential Campaign. Her infectious smile, quick wit, and down-home common sense way of speaking to the hearts of those of us living here in America’s Heartland, (“Flyover Country” to you Liberal snots, on both sides of the aisle, living in the Northeast and the Left Coast) endeared her to average Americans, who could not relate to the professional politicians ensconced in the Halls of Power in Washington, DC.

We watched, with smiles on our faces as she stopped her Campaign Bus, to run into Walmart to get diapers for Trig, her special baby.

She was approachable. She was one of us.

We cheered her on, as she made “Uncle Joe” Biden look like the buffoon he is, during their debates.

And, we watched as she grew in national recognition, while fending off the relentless, unscrupulous attacks by Democrat Operatives, including the Main Stream Media, and late night talk show hosts, such as those two old pervs, Bill Maher and David Letterman.

We even had to witness McCain’s own Election Staff turn against her, as her popularity eclipsed Maverick’s, ruffling the feathers of the GOP Establishment, whom I lovingly refer to as the “Vichy Republicans”.

After all her efforts to drag McCain’s sorry carcass over the finish line failed, instead of fading away in obscurity, she became ever more nationally-recognized than before, becoming both a Political Pundit and a King-maker.

Wherever she speaks, she is met by huge crowds, unlike Obama, who has to hold invitation-only events, so that he does not get booed off the stage.

Her magnificent speech at last year’s CPAC Conference set the stage for her re-entry into politics, after a short time away, and set Conservative hearts on fire, including mine.

Allow me to relate a seminal moment from that speech, which has become an instant Sarah Palin Classic:

She was bringing up some spot-on political points, when, all of the sudden, she got a mischievous smile on her face and began telling the audience how Todd gave her a wonderful gift the Christmas before last: a gun rack for her ATV. She talked about how cool it was, and then told the crowd that, for this Christmas, she gave Todd a new hunting rifle. She quipped,

Yep, Todd got the rifle and I got the rack.

As the stunned audience quickly broke out in thunderous laughter and applause, Sarah stood there, grinning like the Cheshire Cat, while, at the same time, reaching under the podium to retrieve a 44-ounce Super Big Gulp Diet Coke, in a dig against NYC Mayor Bloomberg’s baning of large soft drinks. She slowly sipped it, still grinning, then holding it over her head , imitating Lady Liberty holding her torch. The picture of this wonderful moment immediately went viral, much to the chagrin of Liberals, on both sides of the political aisle, whose heads, of course, exploded, like balloons which have blown up beyond their usefulness.

Indeed, as much as the Democrats and Vichy Republicans want Sarah Palin to fade away into obscurity, the Arctic Fox is not going anywhere. And, because of that, their attacks are as relentless as ever.

Liberals, on both sides of the political aisle, will tell you whom they fear.

In fact, in their Crony Capitalistic Hearts, they are very afraid…and, with good reason. Check out this story, which ran on newsmax.com on Thursday:

Republicans rate Sarah Palin higher than every potential 2016 presidential contender, even though she is not even considered to be in the running, a new poll has found.

A Public Policy Polling survey conducted Jan. 23-26 showed that the former governor of Alaska has a 70 percent favorability rating among GOP primary voters, topping six other potential candidates in the poll, even though her name was not on the list of 2016 GOP candidates to choose from.

“The best-liked person we tested on this poll with Republican primary voters is actually Sarah Palin,” the poll noted.

In the survey of 845 registered voters, including 457 Republican primary voters, former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee tops the list of possible presidential contenders, with a favorability rating of 64 percent. Fifty-eight percent of respondents have a positive view of both Kentucky Sen. Rand Paul and Wisconsin Rep. Paul Ryan, the former 2012 vice presidential nominee.

Former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush has a 56 percent favorability rating, and 45 percent of respondents view Texas Sen. Ted Cruz in a positive light. Embattled New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie comes in last with a 40 percent favorability rating.

Huckabee, the former 2008 presidential candidate who won the Iowa caucuses, was chosen as the most preferred candidate to get the GOP nomination from a crowded field of nine other possible rivals.

The results suggest that little has come from his recent controversial remarks about women.

If Governor Palin were to entertain the idea of throwing her hat into the Political Ring once again, the Democrats and the Democrat-Lite Vichy Republicans, would once again attack her with a savagery, not unlike like Miley Cyrus and Justin Bieber fighting over a bong hit.

There is a Culture War, which has been going on in our country for a while now, between the Republican Establishment up in the Northeast, and Conservative Americans, living in the Heartland.

What sticks in my craw is the hubris involved. Now, I have several dear Conservative friends in the NE, heck, my bride is from MI, moved down to MS 30+ years ago and used to do reenactments on the Confederate side.

That being said, the “Northeast Republicans Club’s” standard, as exemplified by their last Convention, the subsequent Presidential Candidate Nomination of Mitt Romney, and their ever-escalating embrace of Liberal Political Ideology, is to look down their noses at the rest of the country, as if we are a bunch of hicks, because we still believe in Reagan Conservatism.

They view Sarah the same way. They believe that anyone who is not from Hahvahd, some other Ivy League School, or, their region of the country, is a stupid bumpkin.

I suggest that they leave the Northeast sometime and travel throughout the Heartland of this great country.

They might learn a thing or two about Conservatism.

I, along with Sarah Palin, Ted Cruz, Mike Lee, and the majority of average Americans, here in “Flyover Country”,remain Reagan Conservatives…and, are proud of it.

If the Vichy Republicans ignore the millions of Americans, who compose their Conservative Base, they will never win another Presidential Election.

Count on it.

Until He Comes,

KJ
