Biden’s First Prime-Time Television Address to Air Thursday, Has “Senior Moment” on Live TV Yesterday

Back to America Last

Newsmax.com reports that

President Joe Biden will make his first prime-time television address Thursday, exactly one year after the coronavirus pandemic shut down most of the nation. It will be his first major address since Inauguration Day.

More than 525,000 Americans have died from COVID-19, though 30 million people are fully vaccinated, with millions more expected to be inoculated by this summer.

“The President will deliver his first prime-time address to commemorate the one-year anniversary of the COVID-19 shutdown on Thursday. He will discuss the many sacrifices the American people have made over the last year and the grave loss communities and families across the country have suffered,” White House press secretary Jen Psaki said at Monday’s briefing.

Psaki said Biden looks forward to “highlighting the role that Americans will play in beating the virus and moving the country toward getting back to normal.”

Biden has pushed back several major firsts for a president, in part due to the pandemic. He has not held a formal press briefing, and has not scheduled a date for his first joint session address to Congress, though NBC News last week reported that the latter likely would be pushed to April.

“Our hope is to be able to do it in the well of the House,” an official told NBC News. “But there are a lot of factors that go into determining whether we’re able to.”

Former President Donald Trump played a significant role in the development of a COVID vaccine with Operation Warp Speed, a program created by his administration to incentivize pharmaceutical companies to create a vaccine in record time.

Biden has sought to speed up delivery of the vaccine, pledging 150 million COVID vaccinations in his first 100 days.

The president’s TV address is expected to come after he signs the $1.9 trillion COVID stimulus package, which passed the Senate on Saturday.

The World Health Organization declared the coronavirus a pandemic on March 11, 2020. Trump declared a national emergency in the U.S. on March 13, 2020, essentially shutting down the economy for nearly a year.

Boys and girls, do you know why they made that announcement yesterday?

Two reasons:

The so-called “COvid-19 Stimulus Bill should be ready for Biden to sign on Thursday morning.

That way, he can brag on how he has rescued Americans in their moment of need, even though he has had nothing to do with the vaccination roll-out, which began under President Trump.

And, the other reason that he will address the nation on Thursday is the fact that it will take the White House three days to tape the address and to edit it to make Joe Biden intelligible.

As you saw in the tweet above, per the New York Post

President Biden on Monday seemed to forget Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin’s name at a White House event — calling the Pentagon chief “the guy who runs that outfit over there.”

Biden was announcing the nomination of two female generals to lead US military combatant commands.

“And I want to thank the sec — the, the, ah former general. I keep calling him general, but my, my — the guy who runs that outfit over there,” Biden said.

“I want to make sure we thank the secretary for all he’s done to try to implement what we just talked about. And for recommending these two women for promotion.”

Earlier at the event, Biden mentioned the Defense Department leader by his name, “Secretary Austin,” while appearing to read from a teleprompter.

Biden, 78, has previously struggled with the names of his cabinet secretary selections. In December, he mispronounced the name of his nominee for the Department of Health and Human Services, Xavier Becerra, before correcting himself with a different mispronunciation.

“Dr.” Jill Biden and the Democrat Elite are doing their best to cover up Biden’s deteriorating health as he continues to lose his battle with dementia.

However, every time they allow him to appear before the cameras, they are taking a chance that he will have a “Senior Moment” and spoil their charade.

Average Americans living here in the Heartland have been cognizant of Joe’s condition for quite a while now.

His handlers all but shouted it from the rooftops when they had him campaign from his basement.

Then, when they absolutely HAD to allow him to appear in public, his metal collapse was there for the cameras to record and for the few Democrats who attended his campaign speeches to witness live.

Joe Biden has no business being the Leader of the Free World, electorally or mentally.

That is why our enemies, like Iran and North Korea, are becoming bold enough to start causing trouble…again.

They neither respect nor fear the Democrat Puppet in the White House.

Pelosi and CNN’s Wolf Blitzer Get Into a Heated Argument After He Asks Her Why She Won’t Accept Trump’s Latest Stimulus Offer

FoxNews.com reports that

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., accused CNN anchor Wolf Blitzer Tuesday of being “an apologist … for the Republican position” during a stunning interview in which she grew visibly frustrated with “The Situation Room” anchor’s questions.

The fireworks began when Blitzer asked Pelosi why she “won’t accept the president’s latest [coronavirus] stimulus offer.”

“I hope you’ll ask the same question of the Republicans on why they don’t want to meet the needs of the American people,” Pelosi responded. “But let me say to those people because all of my colleagues — we represent these people … and their needs are not addressed in the president’s proposal. So when you say to me, ‘Why don’t you accept theirs?’ Why don’t they accept ours?”

Blitzer interjected, telling Pelosi that Americans “really need the money now” and quoted Rep. Ro Khanna, D-Calif., who recently said, “People in need can’t wait until February. $1.8 trillion is significant & more than twice the Obama stimulus … Make a deal & put the ball in McConnell court.”

“So what do you say to Ro Khanna?” Blitzer asked.

“What I say to you is I don’t know why you’re always an apologist — and many of your colleagues [are] apologists for the Republican position,” Pelosi fired back, adding “Ro Khanna, that’s nice, that isn’t what we’re going to do and nobody’s waiting til February.”

The contentious exchange continued when Blitzer pressed Pelosi again about Trump’s $1.8 trillion proposal, asking her, “why not work out a deal with him and don’t let the perfect, as they say here in Washington, be the enemy of the good?”

“Well, I will not let the wrong be the enemy of the right,” Pelosi fired back.

“What’s wrong with $1.8 trillion?” Blitzer asked.

“You know what, do you have any idea what the difference is between the spending that they have in their bill and what we have in our bill?” Pelosi asked before ticking off a list of her issues with the proposal.

“That is precisely why, Madame Speaker … it’s so important right now,” Blitzer responded “Yesterday, I spoke to [former Democratic presidential candidate] Andrew Yang, who says the same thing. It’s not everything you want but there’s a lot there.”

“But you know what? Honest to God!” Pelosi complained. “You really- I cannot get over it because Andrew Yang, he’s lovely. Ro Khanna, he’s lovely. They are not negotiating this situation. They have no idea of the particulars. They have no idea of what the language is here …

The tension carried on until the very end, when Blitzer attempted to wrap up the interview after the speaker accused him of “defending the administration all this time.”

“We’ll leave it on the note that you’re not right on this, Wolf, and I hate to say that to you,” Pelosi told the CNN anchor. “But I feel confident about it and I feel confident about my colleagues and I feel confident in my [committee] chairs.”

Blitzer responded, “It’s not about me, it’s about millions of Americans who can’t put food on the table, who can’t pay the rent, and who are having trouble getting by.”

“And we represent them, we represent them,” Pelosi repeated several times over Blitzer.

“As we say, don’t let perfect be the enemy of the good,” Blitzer reiterated.

“It is nowhere near perfect … we’re not even close to the good,” Pelosi shot back. “Thank you for your sensitivity to our constituents’ needs.”

“I am sensitive to them because I see them on the street begging for food, begging for money,” the anchor said.

“Have you fed them?” Pelosi blurted out. “We feed them, we feed them.”

Tuesday was not the first time the speaker verbally attacked a journalist during an interview.

In August, Pelosi lashed out at “PBS NewsHour” anchor Judy Woodruff, accusing her of being an “advocate” for Republicans during another heated negotiating period on coronavirus relief.

As CNN’s Wolf Blitzer found out the hard way yesterday, the word “delusional” does not even begin to cover San Fran Nan’s s Superiority Complex and her tone-deafness when it comes to average Americans’ wishes.

Nancy Pelosi’s station in life defies logic.

As she has shown us for decades and these past four years especially, she has to be the most tone deaf aristocrat since Marie Antoinette, who, when supposedly asked about the starving rabble in France, quipped,

Let them eat cake!

For her to completely brush off the plight of America’s small business owners and employees in our to try to “bully” President Trump into giving her the outrageous sum of taxpayer money that she wants to “share” with illegal immigrants and all of her other special interest groups, in not just tone-deaf…it’s oblivious.

There are two possibilities for Pelosi’s misjudgment of the American People:

  1. She has been so sheltered from us “rabble” during all of those years up on Capitol Hill, that she simply is clueless to the daily lives of average Americans and how we feel on the issues of the day. Or…
  2. She, like the Presidential Candidate of her political party, Joe Biden, is a victim of galloping dementia.

The brilliant Conservative Economist, Dr. Thomas Sowell once wrote,

…Perhaps the most remarkable feature of the world envisioned by today’s liberals is that it is a world where other people just passively accept whatever “change” liberals impose. In the world of Liberal Land, you can just take for granted all the benefits of the existing society, and then simply tack on your new, wonderful ideas that will make things better.

Pelosi and her compatriots are holding up giving additional money to America’s small businesses to leverage for add-ons to the bill which will strictly be political pork to the Democrats’ handpicked special interest groups and these add-ons will have nothing to do with the Chinese Coronavirus.

Like the money they added to the Stimulus Package for the Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts.

Liberal Ideas always cost taxpayer money…and they never make things better for the average American.

President Ronald Reagan once famously said,

It isn’t so much that liberals are ignorant. It’s just that they know so many things that aren’t so.

A quotation which also helps to explain Pelosi’s gross overestimation of the popularity of Liberal Ideals among Average Americans here in “Flyover Country”.

Pelosi’s continued denial of the fact that Americans rejected the political ideology of the Democrats and voted for change in the 2016 Presidential Election appears to be a part of an alternative reality that she and the rest of the “Special Snowflakes” who voted for Hillary Clinton and who compose the Far Left Base of the Modern Democratic Party, have transformed themselves into, considering all they have done during the past 4 years since the election is to try to damage President Donald J. Trump and remove him from office by any means necessary.

The pain of their frustration is so immense over Clinton’s loss that they have created a reality in which Clinton actually beat Trump, one in which their embracing of the tenets of Marxism has won the hearts and minds of the American People.

Their undersized medulla oblongotas and oversized craniums will not allow them to accept the fact that Americans completely rejected their candidate, Hillary Clinton, and their Political Ideology on that fateful day in November.

So, they have retreated to that alternative reality, where they can feed and ride their unicorns somewhere over the rainbow and where they will find rest in their “Safe Space”.

And, if “Marie Antoinette” Pelosi and all of her cronies want to remain “sheltered in place”, let them stay there.

Average Americans want to get back to their jobs so that they can provide for their families.

Average Americans’ individual freedom means more to them than Pelosi’s room-sized freezer full of ice cream means to her.

The time to “Reopen America’s Economy Again” is at hand.

Her and her fellow members of the Democratic Elite can either help or shut up and get out of the way.

They are above to be buried under a political “Red Tsunami” on November 3rd.

Judging from Wolf Blitzer’s bucking up to her, I would not be surprised if he has read the Democrats’ internal polling as to what is going to happen on Election Day and he was attempting to get Pelosi to “wisen up”.

That’s not going to happen any time soon.

McConnell Blasts Pelosi Over Obstruction of Coronovirus Cloture Vote: “She’s the Speaker of the House, Not the Speaker of the Senate”

image (2)

FoxNews.com reports that

The GOP-controlled Senate on Sunday failed to move forward with considering the $1.4 trillion “Phase Three” stimulus package intended to help businesses and families devastated by the downturn over the coronavirus outbreak, as Senate Majority Leader McConnell, R-Ky., blasted Democrats opposed to the plan.

The vote came while at least five GOP senators were in self-quarantine, including Sen. Rand Paul, R-Ky., who became the first U.S. senator to announce he tested positive for the virus. Senators were asked to practice social distancing and were given a list of health guidelines to follow while entering the chamber.

Many Democrats had complained that the draft aid package did not go far enough to provide health care and unemployment aid for Americans, and failed to put restraints on a proposed $500 billion “slush fund” for corporations, saying the ban on corporate stock buy-backs are weak and the limits on executive pay would last only two years.

Democrats also pushed for add-ons including food security aid, small business loans and other measures for workers — saying the three months of unemployment insurance offered under the draft plan was insufficient.

Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer, D-N.Y., said the draft package “significantly cut back our hospitals, our cities, our states, our medical workers and so many others needed in this crisis.”

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., urged colleagues to “take responsibility” as Democrats prepared their own draft. The House had just returned from a weeklong recess.

After the bill failed to move forward, McConnell tore into Democrats, accusing them of backing out of a bipartisan agreement once Pelosi and Schumer intervened. He claimed Pelosi took “a week off” and “poured cold water on the whole process.” He also said the Senate would re-vote on the motion to proceed with consideration of the bill Monday morning, “15 minutes after the markets open to see if there’s a change of heart.”

“The build-up to this is that we had a high level of bipartisanship over the last 48 hours… And then, all of a sudden, the Democratic leader and the speaker of the House shows up…and we’re back to square one,” he said, referring to Schumer and Pelosi. “I want everybody to understand that if we aren’t able to act tomorrow, it’s because of our colleagues on the other side, continue to dicker.”

He then accused Pelosi of overstepping boundaries, saying: “She’s the speaker of the House, not the speaker of the Senate.”

McConnell said the Senate will hold a cloture vote again at a time of his choosing, adding, “hopefully some adults will show up on the other side of the room and understand the gravity of the situation before the markets go down further…we’ve never been confronted by anything like this before.”

After Democrats blocked the vote, the National Republican Senatorial Committee [NRSC] released a statement accusing Pelosi, Schumer and Senate Democrats of “partisan fervor to thwart a critical coronavirus relief package while our country faces a crippling pandemic.”

Meanwhile, Americans who have been laid off or have had their jobs “suspended” are wondering how they are going to buy food for their families and pay their bills.

I can understand some concern about CEOs possibly taking advantage of this stimulus package to make themselves richer.

However, I never got a job from a poor man.

As the President stated in during the Coronavirus Taskforce Press Conference yesterday, his concern is that those who are separated from their jobs still have a company and a job to come back to after all this has ended.

Senate Majority Leader McConnell is right about one important thing: Once again, Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi has overstepped her boundaries as Speaker of the House in order to attempt to interfere with the operations of the Senate.

Just like during the failed impeachment of President Trump, Pelosi actually believes that she is in charge of the Senate, as well as the House of Representatives.

Her lust for power blew up in her face before when her attempt to impeach the President over nothing failed, and, God willing, she will fail again.

As I have previously written, Pelosi has already been caught attempting to place Abortion Funding within a Coronavirus Stimulus Bill.

Only God knows what her version of this “Third Phase” Bill will look like.

She will probably attempt to sell back the oil which President Trump bought from the Saudis dirt cheap, which has caused our gas prices to go way down.

Pelosi and Schumer’s hatred for President Trump is evidently their top priority.

Do not let their phony concern fool you.

They do not care about the wellbeing of average Americans, especially those of us between the coasts whom their last Presidential Candidate, Hillary Clinton, labeled as “Deplorables”.

And, speaking of Presidential Elections, if Pelosi and Schumer can somehow sabotage President Trump’s efforts against the Chinese Coronavirus, they will.

Any damage that they may cause to our Sovereign Nation by their actions, they will just chalk up to political expediency.

Over the next few days, Senator McConnell needs to one again demonstrate his skills as a Capitol Hill Veteran, as he did during Pelosi’s Sham Impeachment.

That was a matter of politics.

This is a matter of life and death.
