NC State Senate Upholds State Law Keeping “Cross-Dressing Johnny” Out of the Women’s Public Restroom

Foxnews.com reports that

The North Carolina Senate Wednesday voted down legislation to repeal the controversial law known simply as the “bathroom bill,” months after the measure limiting LGBT protections triggered an economic backlash for the state.

The Senate voted 32-16 against the repeal effort before voting by the same margin to adjourn, ending the special session two days after the Charlotte City Council gutted an ordinance that in March led the state’s General Assembly to pass House Bill (HB) 2. The state House also adjourned without voting.

The repeal legislation, Senate Bill 4, caused new turbulence by imposing a six-month moratorium on local government measures affecting public accommodations and access to restrooms.

According to a statement from the North Carolina Republican Party, not a single Democrat voted to repeal HB2 on a straight up and down vote.

“It’s even more absurd that Govenor-elect Cooper privately pressured Senate Democrats to reject the deal while publicly calling on lawmakers to support a repeal,” said NCGOP Chairman Robin Hayes. “This is nothing more than smoke and mirrors and the people of North Carolina deserve more than the lies and collusion that Roy Cooper has fashioned himself accustomed to.”

Republicans wanted the provision out of concern that cities would enact Charlotte-like measures that could survive under the incoming Democratic administration in the state capital.

However, Democrats pushed back against the moratorium, calling it only a partial repeal of HB2.

“This wasn’t the deal,” said Sen. Jeff Jackson, a Charlotte Democrat. “This bill breaks this deal. Charlotte would have not repealed its ordinance if this was the deal.”

The Senate came back in session Wednesday evening with Senate Speaker Phil Berger suggesting — as a last chance — that the HB2 repeal efforts be split into two segments: the repeal itself in one vote and then a cooling off period in a separate vote.

After the repeal vote was attempted, Berger suggested sending the bill to rules committee. Senate Majority Leader Harry Brown then tried to have the Senate vote again. His motion was tabled before the body voted to adjourn.

“Tonight the North Carolina Senate voted to keep the protections provided by our privacy law, HB2, in place,” said Tami Fitzgerald, NC Values Coalition Executive Director in a statement. “We continue to encourage our leaders to never sacrifice the privacy, safety, or freedom of young girls by forcing them to use the bathroom, shower, or change clothes with grown men just to satisfy the demands of greedy businesses, immoral sports organizations, or angry mobs.”

The special session came about after a bitter election battle that Republican Gov. Pat McCrory lost to Democrat Roy Cooper.

Cooper said he was “disappointed” that the legislature “had the chance to do the right thing for North Carolina and they failed.”

“This was our best chance,” he said. “It cannot be our last chance.”

During the campaign, Democrats hammered McCrory over the law he signed and its fallout — job losses, canceled concerts and sporting events. The state’s Republican leaders said at the time they were willing to consider repealing the law if Charlotte acted first to undo its expanded antidiscrimination ordinance. But the mayor and most council members, with the support of gay rights groups, had been unwilling to do so in the name of equality.

Yet after McCrory conceded, the Democrat-controlled council in Charlotte abruptly moved to roll back the measure. McCrory kept to his word and called a special session, but accused Democrats of playing politics all along by keeping Charlotte from nixing its “overreaching” ordinance earlier.

“The sudden reversal, with little notice after the gubernatorial election has ended, sadly proves this entire issue, originated by the political left, was all about politics at the expense of Charlotte and the entire state of North Carolina,” McCrory said in a video message.

Some social conservatives still urged against repealing the state law. Even the fact lawmakers were called back to Raleigh by McCrory a month before their 2017 session’s start was challenged.

“There is no extraordinary circumstance,” said Rep. Jeff Collins, R-Nash, “other than the extraordinary hubris of a city council telling us we have to act by a certain date.” Monday’s action by the Charlotte council was contingent on HB2’s repeal by Dec. 31.

HB2 was best known for requiring transgender people to use restrooms and other facilities corresponding to the sex on their birth certificate rather than their gender identity.

It also limits statewide protections for lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender people in public accommodations and employment, and it reinforced a prohibition on local governments from raising minimum wage. Local governments are also prevented from enacting nondiscrimination measures that would go further than state law.

LGBT groups, which had fought any deal with legislators earlier this year to do away with the Charlotte ordinance, got on board in the name of nixing HB2.

“Full and complete repeal of HB2 is the only acceptable outcome,” Stephen Peters of Human Rights Campaign said Tuesday in an email.

The problem with the whole “Social Justice” Argument which the Liberal Democrats love to advance on behalf of “Cross-Dressing Johnny” is the fact that,  according to at least one of the leading experts in Psychiatry in the whole world, Transgenderism is NOT a physical condition, like skin pigmentation.

It is a psychological one.

CNSNews.com reported that

Dr. Paul R. McHugh, the Distinguished Service Professor of Psychiatry at Johns Hopkins University and former psychiatrist–in-chief for Johns Hopkins Hospital, who has studied transgendered people for 40 years, said it is a scientific fact that “transgendered men do not become women, nor do transgendered women become men.”

All such people, he explained in an article for The Witherspoon Institute, “become feminized men or masculinized women, counterfeits or impersonators of the sex with which they ‘identify.’”

Dr. McHugh, who was psychiatrist-in-chief at Johns Hopkins Hospital for 26 years, the medical institute that had initially pioneered sex-change surgery – and later ceased the practice – stressed that the cultural meme, or idea that “one’s sex is fluid and a matter of choice” is extremely damaging, especially to young people.

The idea that one’s sexuality is a feeling and not a biological fact “is doing much damage to families, adolescents, and children and should be confronted as an opinion without biological foundation wherever it emerges,” said Dr. McHugh in his article, “Transgenderism: A Pathogenic Meme.”

“I am ever trying to be the boy among the bystanders who points to what’s real,” said Dr. McHugh, who is also professor of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at Johns Hopkins. “I do so not only because truth matters, but also because overlooked amid the hoopla—enhanced now by Bruce Jenner’s celebrity and Annie Leibovitz’s photography—stand many victims.”

“Think, for example, of the parents whom no one—not doctors, schools, nor even churches—will help to rescue their children from these strange notions of being transgendered and the problematic lives these notions herald,” warned McHugh.
The Obama Administration’s quest to provide equal rights or civil rights to Sexual Conditions, that might be psychological or sociological in origin, and that until the 1980’s, were considered abnormal, that is, out of the confines of society’s view of what is normal, in an effort to “normalize” the actions of a very tiny minority of the American people, has succeeded to not only further dividing our nation, but also, in the case of allowing biological males access to public women’s restrooms, is endangering American women and children, as well.

Unfortunately for Liberal Democrats, including the Outgoing President of the United States of America, who had his Attorney General file a lawsuit against North Carolina,  the overwhelming majority of the American People stand with that state and the state of Mississippi, which has passed a simular law.

The opinions of the Liberal Minority of Americans, including celebrities who have cancelled concerts in those States over this issue and have given their unsolicited two cents worth to the cause, hold less weight with the majority of Americans than a bubble gum wrapper in a barrel of water.

Average Americans have been raised to know the difference between right and wrong.

What the Obama Administration attempted, in terms of changing America from the Land of the Free and Home of the Brave, into the Land of the Sheep and the Home of the Morally Ambivalent, turned out to be not as easy as they thought it would be…

…as the results of the 2016 Presidential Election plainly showed.

America is not Europe. We never will be.

Thank God.

Obama and the rest of the Far Left Democratic Party have never understood that Americans are an Exceptional People.

We go our own way.

However, Americans will unite in a common cause, when our Right to “Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness” is threatened and we believe that we are facing a situation in which we must unite to stand against something that we believe is wrong.

If you don’t believe me, please look at the overwhelming response on Social Media to this idiotic, tone-deaf quest by the Obama Administration to radically change our nation.

They can ridicule us.They can file lawsuits against us. But, they cannot force us to accept something which we believe is not right and which violates the safety and privacy of American Women and children.

If my wife, daughter, or daughter-in-law are in a public restroom, and I see what is obviously a man wearing a dress attempt to enter that rest room, I will stop him. It is my right as an American to protect the women in my family. I would do the same for American women whom I do not know. You cannot make what is wrong, a “Constitutional Right”.

And, the overwhelming majority of the American people agree with me.

Just ask Target.

The New Fascism: Obama Calls For “A Stricter Line in Political Discourse”

obamabillofrights

“Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the government for a redress of grievances”- The First Amendment to the Constitution of The United States of America

Grabien.com reports that

President Obama blamed talk radio and other “domestic propagandists” for the rise of “fake news,” including fictional news items published by state-sponsored actors.

“If fake news that’s being released by some foreign government is almost identical to reports that are being issued through partisan news venues, then it’s not surprising that that foreign propaganda will have a greater effect,” Obama said. “It doesn’t seem that farfetched compared to some of the other stuff folks are hearing from domestic propagandists.”

“To the extent that our political dialogue is such that everything is under suspicion, everybody’s corrupt and everybody is doing things for partisan reasons and all of our institutions are, you know full of malevolent actors and if that’s the story that is being put out there, then when a foreign government introduces that same argument, the facts are made up, voters who have been listening to that stuff for years, who have been getting that stuff every day from talk radio or other venues, they’re going to believe it.”

To remedy foreign influence in America’s elections, Obama called for taking a stricter line with our internal political discourse.

“So, if we — if we want to really reduce foreign influence on our elections, then we better think about how to make sure that our — our political process, our political dialogue is stronger than it’s been,” he said.

Elsewhere in his press conference, Obama chastised the media for its “obsession” with the “gossip” from the DNC emails Wikileaks published.

When Barack Hussein Obama assumed the position of President of the United States, the Far Left became empowered. Obama’s handlers saw the opportunity to “radically change” America into a Democratic Socialist Republic. You know, the kind of government that is currently failing over in Europe.

Every piece of legislation that Barack Hussein Obama has tried to get passed, has been designed to either overtly or covertly limit our freedom.

From the stimulus bill on up to this Thursday’s vote, every single piece of legislation and every overt and covert action by Obama and his Administration has been designed to further the Far Left’s agenda.

Alinsky and Marx would be proud.

I have written. time and time again, about the Culture War, which is taking place in America.

Boys and Girls, it is not just a “Culture War”. We are battling a war against Government-sponsored FASCISM.

My late father was one of thousands of brave young American men, who landed on the beaches of Normandy , France on June 6, 1944, in the military operation which broke the backs of the Nazis, leading to the end of World War II, now known as D-Day.

World War II was in a war against Fascism.

What is Fascism? Per merriam-webster.com, it is a

political philosophy, movement, or regime (as that of the Fascisti) that exalts nation and often race above the individual and that stands for a centralized autocratic government headed by a dictatorial leader, severe economic and social regimentation, and forcible suppression of opposition.

Ladies and gentlemen, I firmly believe that America has been fighting a new War Against Fascism for some time now.

It has not been a war fought with guns and bullets, But instead with state referendums, Congressional votes, Executive Orders, Law Suits, Judicial Activism and, Royal Edicts from King Barack The First.

It’s not our Brightest and Best who have been wounded on this field of battle, but rather, it is our Constitutional Freedoms which have been attacked, pierced by the arrows of Socialism and Political Correctness.

By now, there is someone out there among you saying, “Oh Lord, the crazy old cracker’s overreacting again.”

No, Skippy, I’m not.

If you try to talk to a Liberal about this New Fascism, they will deny that there is any Fascism going on at all. In fact, they will tell you that all this garbage that has happened during the Presidency of Barack Hussein Obama is, even now, “the will of the people”. In order to prove their claim, they will site Democratically-stacked push polls or place Hollywood Liberals in front of a camera, so they can mindlessly pontificate and tell us “common folk” what we should do.

If there is “no Fascism”, what do you call Obama’s suggestion to suppress the First Amendment Rights to Free Speech of  Americans, who disagree with the Liberal “Politically Correct” Point of View?

Fascism, in any form, remains indefensible.

The Godfather of Conservative Talk Radio, Rush Limbaugh, once said the following,

You know as well as I do that people are scared to death to tell you what they really think. The left has politicized everything — everything — to the point that people are afraid to go against what they know to be political correctness, which is nothing more than liberal fascism, nothing more than censorship.

When Barack Hussein Obama assumed the position of President of the United States, the Far Left became empowered. Obama’s handlers saw the opportunity to “radically change” America into a Democratic Socialist Republic. You know, the kind of government that is currently failing over in Europe, being subjugated by an invasion of Muslim immigrants, who have installed their own Sharia law with virtually no opposition, due to the Europeans’ Spinelessness, as a result of decades of Political Correctness.

Every piece of legislation that Barack Hussein Obama has tried to get passed, has been designed to either overtly or covertly limit our freedom.

From the stimulus bill, through Obamacare, threatened changes to our Gun Laws by Executive Order, and now this Royal Edict in which he is attempting to order American schools to allow dress wearing Johnny access to the privacy of high school girls, everything that Obama has done has been designed to further the Far Left’s agenda.

Remember when Obama was campaigning so hard to get the Affordable Health Care Act passed?

He always used people as props for his speeches, whether it was just normal people or people dressed in white coats like doctors.

When he was previously trying to get gun control passed, he used the parents from the Newtown Massacre in Connecticut as human props to try to get his repressive agenda passed.

The use of human props is an old propaganda trick, which was used by Joseph Goebbels to make his boss Adolf Hitler seem like a man of the people who really cared about the German citizenry.

The use of propaganda to further the aims of fascist governments is an old and effective method of camouflaging fascism, a fact that Obama’s handlers realize all too well.

In addition to the use of human props during a speech, another strategy used in a propaganda campaign is to select an enemy and target them with the aid of a sympathetic press behind you.

During Hitler’s rise to power, the German Press demonized European Jews, betraying them as evil and money grubbing…painting them as being different from normal German citizens. It was this classification of the European Jews as the enemy that almost led to the extinction of them in that horrible attempted genocide, known as the Holocaust.

Now, in the early 21st century, the Far Left, the Democratic Party, and the Obama Administration (but, I repeat myself),  as the final days of our American Nightmare are slowing passing by, are using propaganda in their attempt to isolate and demonize average Americans, who through hard work, have risen to a high station in life or through their strong Christian faith and love of their country refuse to follow a popular culture-worshiping Administration, while blaming everybody from the Russians to President-elect Trump and those of us who voted for him for their own miserable failure as pertains to their poor stewardship of this country while they have been in power.

It’s up to average Americans, like you and me, to steadfastly continue to fight the Good Fight against Far Left Fascism.

…Up until January 20, 2017 and beyond.

Americans Do Not Like to Be Lectured to by Liberals…as ESPN and Hollywood are Finding Out

gettyimages180390551

Liberals claim to want to give a hearing to other views, but then are shocked and offended to discover that there are other views.- William F. Buckley, Jr.

Breitbart.com reports that

The Nielsen estimates revealed that ESPN lost 555,000 subscribers during the last month.

In other words, ESPN essentially lost the city of Albuquerque, New Mexico. This, coming on the heels of last month, the worst month in ESPN history, where the network lost 621,000 subscribers.

In the last two months, ESPN has lost 1,176,000 subscribers, a subscriber loss nearly the size of the city of Dallas, Texas. ESPN currently has just over 88 million domestic subscribers. In 2013, a mere three years ago, ESPN had 99 million subscribers. That’s right, in the last three years, ESPN lost somewhere in the neighborhood of ten million subscribers, the rough equivalent of the combined populations of New York City and Phoenix.

Now, in fairness, ESPN has contested the subscriber estimates that Nielsen put forth, citing the omission of multiple factors, including streaming services and digital device numbers. However, if the Nielsen numbers even remotely approximate the true subscriber loss, it means ESPN has lost hundreds of millions of dollars in revenue over the last three years alone and if the trend continues, is well on its way to collapse.

Certainly, the cord-cutting phenomenon that has hit networks across cable television has a definite impact on ESPN. Though, that’s not the entire explanation for the network’s cratering subscriber base. ESPN Ombudsman Jim Brady, admitted that the network lurched way too far to the left in recent years, alienating many viewers.

There’s also evidence of that in these numbers. According to Deadline Hollywood, “Disney’s other sports channels fared better. ESPNU had 71 million subs, down 1.4%. ESPNEWS and SEC Network — not measured by Nielsen — were flat based on December data from SNL Kagan. The former had 70 million subs and the latter had 62 million.”

What do ESPNU, ESPNEWS, and the SEC Network all have in common? They are, by far, the least opinion-driven and ideological of all the ESPN channels. ESPN’s slate of uber-opinionated, radically leftist programs such as Around the Horn, First Take, Pardon the Interruption, His & Hers, and others all appear on ESPN or ESPN2, the channels which have seen the greatest decline.

ESPNU, ESPNEWS, and the SEC Network primarily feature sporting events, simulcast radio shows, or straight news reporting with very little opinion, or, at least very little political opinion. Those channels have either marginally declined or stayed flat.

Something tells me there’s a message there.

You betchum, Red Ryder.

In a related story, The Washington Times reports that

Hollywood actor Mark Wahlberg has a message for his fellow thespians: Stop talking politics.

The star of “Patriots Day,” an upcoming film on the Boston Marathon bombing, sat down with Task and Purpose to promote his work. The website, which is dedicated to issues of interest to veterans, asked him what he thought of Hollywood’s recent attempts to undercut Republican Donald Trump’s presidential campaign.

“A lot of celebrities did, do, and shouldn’t,” Mr. Wahlberg told the website. “You know, it just goes to show you that people aren’t listening to that anyway. They might buy your CD or watch your movie, but you don’t put food on their table. You don’t pay their bills. A lot of Hollywood is living in a bubble. They’re pretty out of touch with the common person, the everyday guy out there providing for their family.”

The actor went on to say that although he is at ease navigating the entertainment industry and enjoying its perks, he still understands what it’s like “not to have all that.”

“I’m very aware of the real world,” he said. “I come from the real world and I exist in the real world. And although I can navigate Hollywood and I love the business and the opportunities it’s afforded me, I also understand what it’s like not to have all that.”

“Patriots Day,” which is set for release in U.S. theaters Dec. 21, tells the story of heroism displayed by law enforcement personnel on April 15, 2013, after Chechen brothers Dzhokhar and Tamerlan Tsarnaev killed four people and wounded 264 others during a terror attack at the Boston Marathon.

The second story is related to first story because “Marky Mark” Wahlberg hits the nail on the head:

People in “Show Business”, and that includes Professional Sports, and the reporting of it, need to stop their self-appointed mission of spreading Liberal Propaganda.

As ESPN and Hollywood are finding out the hard way, average Americans want them to shut up and entertain us.

That is the reason that Hollywood has been having more misses than hits, in the last several years.

As Wahlberg said, the Liberals who run “Hollyweird” are totally disconnected from the average American’s belief system of ethics, values, and faith.

In other words, “Truth, Justice, and the American Way”.

All of the great movies and television shows my generation watched while we were growing up, reinforced those values.

One of the movies expected to be a blockbuster a while back, “The Lone Ranger”, cast Johnny Depp as Tonto, and rewrote the legend to center around him, instead of the title character.

The audience simply did not buy Captain Jack Sparrow as Tonto.

When Americans envision the crime fighting duo of the Old West, Americans see Clayton Moore and Jay Silverheels. Two outstanding gentlemen, both on and off the television screen.

We knew that the Lone Ranger and Tonto would beat the snot out of the bad guys, and rescue the rancher’s daughter. We knew that James Bond would defeat SPECTRE and get the beautiful Bond Girl.

We smiled in admiration when we heard that Superman fought for “truth, justice, and the American Way”. We threw our rubber tomahawks at the trees in our front yards, just like “Daniel Boone”. We knew that John Wayne would rescue Dean Martin in “Rio Bravo”.

And, all the guys in the 1970s wanted a red Gran Torino with a white stripe down the side, like “Starsky and Hutch” drove.

Even though they “underperformed”, you want to know why  Americans go to see movies like “American Sniper”, the Captain America Movies, the Avenger Movies, the Spider-Man Movies, the X-Men Movies, and  “Guardians of the Galaxy”?

They are throwbacks. They are entertaining. They are not dirty or vulgar. There is plenty of action with a great story line wrapped around it, and GOOD TRIUMPHS OVER EVIL.

We go to movies to be entertained, not to be lectured to by a bunch of snotty-nosed, America-hating, relative morality, situational ethics-loving Liberals.

American Sniper shows very plainly that we can triumph against Radical Islam, the Political Ideology masquerading as a Religion, which Obama dares not call out by name.

Heck,  “American Sniper” even did well in Islamic Nations.

Why? As President Ronald Reagan realized, all those decades ago, the followers of Mohammed respect strength, not weakness.

So, why did Americans flock to see this movie in record numbers?

Americans were living vicariously through the late American Hero Chris Kyle.

Americans respected his legacy of heroism. That is why, when Former Professional Wrestler, and lunatic Jesse “The Body” Ventura sued Chris’ widow, Americans wanted to string him up in the middle of the Town Square.

As I have written several times, America is still a Majority Conservative Nation.

Look at an Electoral Map of what happened during the Presidential Election of November 8th.. America is a Sea of Red, with little Blue Enclaves, up in the Northeast and on the Left Coast.

“American Sniper” blew the doors off at the Box Office and at the Redbox Rental Kiosks, because average Americans are being forced to cut back on their Entertainment Budget.

Americans have to pick and choose very carefully the movies they go to, simply due to the high price of tickets, refreshments, and gasoline and Obama’s stagnant economy.

That is the reason that Redbox is so popular.

And, the reason why more Americans are “cutting the cable”.

Americans can choose to view the movies and television shows that they like to watch.

A while back, my bride and I made the mistake of renting “Noah”. Thank the Lord, we only paid $1.28 for it. Even at $1.28, it was still over-priced.

But, I digress…

Hollywood and the Television Bigwigs on the East Coast need to pay attention to which television programs and movies the American public are watching at home…and make more just like them.

Average Americans are more perceptive than Liberals think we are.

Until the Liberals in Hollywood (and New York City and Washington, DC) realize that, they will continue to fail.

Just as their precious Democratic Party and the Presidential Candidate that they thought could not lose got their hindquarters handed to them on November 8th.

MEMO To: Geraldo From: A “Cranky Old White Guy”

INTRODUCTION: Yesterday morning, as I was in my man cave posting my blog on some of Facebook’s Political Pages, I had the television on Fox and Friends in the background, where I heard their guest, Geraldo Rivera, make these remarks, following the announcement of President-elect Donald J. Trump’s picks for Attorney General, National Security Advisor, and CIA Director.

I hope Trump’s cabinet is full of diversity and not just cranky old white guys.

That being said…

Mr. Rivera:

Considering that a couple of cranky old white guys named Rupert Murdoch and Roger Ailes hired you, I do believe that you just bit the hand which feeds you.

However, it is to be expected as Liberals, especially the Liberals in the Media, like yourself, continue your meltdown over the election of Donald J. Trump as the 45th President of United States of America.

You are just out of sorts, because the evening of November 8th made you realize that your Liberal Political Ideology is not embraced here in “Flyover Country”, America’s Heartland.

According to a Gallup Poll, published on January 16th of this year, Conservatives are still the leading Political Ideology in America at 37%, followed closely by “self-described” Moderates at 35%. Liberals remain the Minority Political Ideology in America, comprising only 24% of our population.

That is why I call the actions of insufferable idiots like the ones on full display “protesting” in the streets and on college campuses , “The Tyranny of the Minority”.

Geraldo…may I call you “Geraldo”?… for 8 looong years a bunch of paid and unpaid “useful idiots”, proclaiming thenselves to be “Political Pundits”, have been telling all of us normal Americans, living out here in the Heartland, how stupid and intolerant we are, for actually holding to Traditional American Values.

Personally, I have heard this garbage before.

Back in 2011, I got into a discussion on Andrew Breitbart’s Big Government website with some Cheetos-munching, Mom’s basement-dwelling Lib with no home training, who proceeded to tell me that he would be proud to defecate on the American Flag.

If I could have reached through my computer monitor and throttled that useless, ungrateful spoiled brat, I would have.

That “dude” was yet another example of the useful idiots of this present generation, such as Miley Cyrus, that seem to be garnering a lot of national attention for their outrageous, disrespectful…and, yes, intolerant, behavior.

Just as we have been bearing witness for the last 8 years, through the glorification of thugs and the vilifying of our local police departments by the Obama Administration and the local “communities” which they lay their lives on the line for, every day they put on their uniforms, the effects of LBJ’s “Great Society” on American Culture and the Black Family Unit, we are witnessing, through the egocentric behavior of this present generation, what happens when children are left to “their own devices”, instead of being raised “in the way in which they should go”.

Your Liberal Political Ideology does not set people free, it places them in chains of despair, while they wait on the “charity” of a banny-State Government.

Liberals,  such as yourself and, your imperious President, did not care about the “Will of the People”, but, rather, you were intent on implementing and enforcing your Far Left Political Ideology, resulting in a “Tyranny of the Minority”, which we are seeing play out, as those upset about Trump’s victory attempt to hold on to their “FREE STUFF” bestowed upon them by the “benevolent masters” of the Democrat Party.

The use of Karl Marx/Saul Alinsky-inspired “Class War Politics”, including “Racial Rhetoric”, and Barack Hussein Obama’s own petulant, belligerent personality of a 12-year-old, continues to inspire these “protestors”, leading to a divided nation, the likes of which has not been seen since “The War of Northern Aggression”.

When our Founding Fathers sat down to provide form and substance to the laws and procedures for governing this new country, which they had fought and won a bloody war over, by pledging their lives, their fortunes, and their sacred honor, they were very aware of the price of tyranny.

They determined that this new nation would be a Constitutional Republic, having had their fill of monarchies.

And, that Sacred Document, our United States Constitution, gives each of us the right, including Trump, to speak our minds and be heard.

It gives those protestors that right, too…but, not at the expense of others, by strong-arming their way into Political Rallies, or by blocking access to them, for the expressed purpose of denying someone their First Amendment Rights.

Or, by trying to overturn the results of a fair and legal Presidential Election, through the use of violence and intimidation.

That is called “INTOLERANCE”.

Why is it that those among us, Liberals such as yourself, who claim to be the most tolerant, are actually the least tolerant of all?

America “Checks” the “Fact Checkers”: Only 29% Trust Media Fact-Checking

“We have a media that is so dishonest,” These are among the most dishonest people you will ever, ever meet.”

“We are going to punch through the media,” We have to.” – Republican Presidential Candidate Donald J. Trump

A new poll shows that Trump’s opinion is representative  of the majority of American voters as regards his previous statement concerning the Main Stream Media.

According to Rasmussenreports.com,

Most voters believe news organizations play favorites when it comes to fact-checking candidates’ statements, but this skepticism is much stronger among voters who support Donald Trump than those who back his rival Hillary Clinton.

A new Rasmussen Reports national telephone and online survey finds that just 29% of all Likely U.S. Voters trust media fact-checking of candidates’ comments. Sixty-two percent (62%) believe instead that news organizations skew the facts to help candidates they support.

…Eighty-eight percent (88%) of voters who support Trump in the presidential race believe news organizations skew the facts, while most Clinton backers (59%) trust media fact-checking. Among the supporters of Libertarian Gary Johnson and Green Party candidate Jill Stein, sizable majorities also don’t trust media fact-checking.

These findings are no surprise given that voters think it’s far more likely reporters will try to help Clinton than Trump this election season.

The national survey of 1,000 Likely Voters was conducted on September 28-29, 2016 by Rasmussen Reports. The margin of sampling error is +/- 3 percentage points with a 95% level of confidence. Field work for all Rasmussen Reports surveys is conducted by Pulse Opinion Research, LLC. Seemethodology.

Voters remain skeptical about the political news they are getting. Voters also continue to strongly believe that the media is more interested in controversy than in the issues when it comes to the presidential race.

Most Republicans (79%) and voters not affiliated with either major political party (69%) believe the media skew the facts to help candidates they support, but only 40% of Democrats agree.

The majority of voters in most demographic categories believe the media play favorites when they fact-check candidates’ comments.

Blacks are more trusting of media fact-checking than whites and other minority voters are.

Seventy-nine percent (79%) of conservatives and 58% of moderates think the media skew the facts to help their favorites, but liberals by a 51% to 39% margin trust media fact-checking.

Prior to the first televised debate between the major party candidates Monday night, the Clinton campaign stated that a failure by the moderator to fact-check Trump’s statements in real time would give him an unfair advantage. However, voters were pretty convinced that the moderators would be helping Clinton more than Trump.

Fifty-six percent (56%) of voters believe both Clinton and Trump are liars. Following the release in June of the final congressional committee report on the 2012 incident in Benghazi, Libya, where four Americans were killed, 49% of voters said Clinton lied to the victims’ families about the nature of the attack.

A majority of voters believe the media, not the candidates, are in the driver’s seat this presidential election season.

Our latest daily White House Watch finds Clinton and Trump remain in a near tie, but support for Johnson appears to be fading.

For years, the Main Stream Media has been in bed with corrupt politicians and those who walk roam the Halls of Power with impunity (Mr. Soros to the Courtesy Desk, please.)

While touting objectivity, they have often fallen way short of that goal.

The Media really came into its own during the 80’s, with the advent of Cable Television, the Iranian Hostage Crisis, and the ascension and election of President Ronald Wilson Reagan. Their advocacy of all things Liberal became very apparent, as they attacked the greatest president of this generation, mercilessly, giving no quarter.

I believe that Reagan’s election was a wake up call to the MSM. They realized that, if left to their own devices, the American Public would elect a Conservative as President, every time. And, they just couldn’t have that. They were already in too deep to their Democratic, Progressive Masters.

So, America’s Media forsook their objectivity, choosing to help to shape current events, instead of just reporting on them, in an effort to produce outcomes which would be most beneficial to the Progressive Cause.

After propping up Barack Hussein Obama and getting him re-elected, their own hubris gave them an exaggerated sense of self-importance, as to their role in our society.

Their Achilles’ Heel , the before-mentioned hubris, blinded them to the potential of the New Media…and, that has been their undoing.

As has been affirmed to me lately, during my surfing of the web, including Facebook Political Pages and websites, Modern American Liberals, including those in the Main Stream Media, constantly live in a state of denial.

They respond as if you have told them that you shot Ol’ Yeller, when you inform them that Liberalism is still the minority political belief in America, even (and especially) after the 7 1/2 year reign of King Barack The First.

This salient fact explains why CNN and MSNBC constantly trail Fox News in the television ratings polls.

It also explains their ongoing massive propping up through the use of blatant propaganda of the Presidential Campaign of Hillary Clinton.

Just like the cockamamie idea to allow biological men in women’s public restrooms, the idea of allowing a morally and ethically challenged congenital liar with obvious serious health issues, who is as far removed philosophically from the overwhelming majority of Americans, that she might as well be the President of China, XI Jinping’s Handmaiden, makes average Americas out here in America’s Heartland want to hurl.

Which, by the way, is quite evident when you compare actual images of the size of Donald J. Trump’s overflowing Campaign Rallies , numbering in the thousands, compared to the under-attended ones of Hillary Clinton, which are lucky to draw one hundred.

Principled reporters, such as the late Andrew Breitbart and Michelle Malkin, turned up the heat on the MSM, by providing an alternative source through which Americans can receive news, unfiltered by those in the Halls of Power.

Unfortunately for the MSM , as the last few weeks have shown, and as I have documented, Americans have become our own “reporters” thanks to the “New Media”. Americans are now living in a  time when the Main Stream Media’s blatant propaganda is no longer believed at face value, as the evidence which refutes it is appearing in the live videos and photographs being shared on Facebook and other Social Media.

And, like the little Dutch Boy, the MSM does not know which hole to plug, in the leaking dam, first.

In their frenzied desperate attempt to stop what now appears to be the inevitability of a Trump Victory in November, the Main Stream Media has chosen to verify blatantly false Liberal Opinions as being “Facts”.

Just like the Internet Trolls, who invade Facebook Political Pages and Political Websites, in order to disrupt conversation and call attention to themselves, the MSM, through the creation of their own facts, has permanently damaged their own credibility, quite probably beyond all repair.

Because, to put it quite simply, once you torque off the American Public, you never get them back.

Just ask the Dixie Chicks.

The Shot Heard “‘Round the Conservative World”: Levin to Vote for Trump! (A KJ Analysis)

stay-home-600-ci

I think this is a binary election — at least for the country — that either Trump or Clinton will be president of the United States. I happen to think despite the CNN poll and so forth there is a lot of work to do to make up ground, particularly in battleground states. But Hillary is so awful I just don’t know. I’m not in the prediction business so it doesn’t matter.

So I’m going to vote for Donald Trump. I’m going to wind up voting for Donald Trump on election day. I take no responsibility for the dumb things he says or the dumb things his surrogates say. Just as I took no responsibility for the dumb things any candidate I vote for says whether it’s Congress, Senate, Supervisor, states attorney, other presidential candidates. I don’t control any of these people. I don’t run their campaigns and I don’t advise them. (The Mark Levin Show, September 6, 2016)

That announcement, boys and girls, was “the shot heard ’round the Conservative World”.

During this Presidential Campaign, I have lost friends and have watched longstanding Facebook Political Pages torn asunder over the candidacy of Billionaire Businessman, Entrepreneur, and Citizen Statesman Donald J. Trump.

So, excuse me if I take a bit of satisfaction over Mark Levin, for so long a spokesman for the “#NeverTrumpers” , finally admitting the obvious:

There are only two viable candidates left in November’s Presidential Election…and if you do not want Hillary Clinton to become the President of the United States of America, you must vote for Donald J. Trump!

The movement to elect Donald J. Trump as the next President of the United States of America defies “the rules” of Modern American Politics, just as the candidate himself does.

If Trump had “played by the rules”, regarding upholding the Washingtonian Status Quo, he would not be  the 2016 Republican Presidential Candidate and would not be current ahead in the polls.

From the day that he announced his candidacy, he has been fighting not only those on the Democrat Side of the aisle, who are determined to make the Queen of Mean, Hillary Clinton, our next President, but, also those Republicans, and self-proclaimed “True Conservatives”, who want to keep Trump from becoming President of the United States of America at all costs, even if it means sacrificing our children’s and grandchildren’s future to do it.

Chief among those and “leading the charge”, if you will, has been self-proclaimed “Libertarian” Glenn Beck, who, over the past few years, has transitioned from being an insightful political analyst with Conservative Leanings, to being a Modern Day Elmer Gantry, with a bit of Lonesome Rhodes thrown in for good measure.

For those of you who are not Classic Movie Buffs, please allow me to introduce you to these two “gentlemen”.

“Elmer Gantry”- Elmer Gantry (Burt Lancaster), a drunken, dishonest street preacher allegedly patterned on Billy Sunday, wrangles a job with the travelling tent ministry conducted by Sister Sharon Falconer (Jean Simmons). Thanks to Gantry’s enthusiastic hellfire-and-brimstone sermons, Sister Sharon’s operation rises to fame and fortune, enough so that Sharon realizes her dream of building her own enormous tabernacle. These ambitions are put in jeopardy when a prostitute (Oscar-winning Shirley Jones), a former minister’s daughter who’d been deflowered by Gantry years earlier, lures Gantry into a compromising situation and has photographs taken. It took several years for any Hollywood studio to take a chance with Sinclair Lewis’ novel, and when it finally did arrive on the screen, producer/director Richard Brooks was compelled to downplay some of the more “sacrilegious” passages in the original. Also appearing in Elmer Gantry are Arthur Kennedy as an H.L. Mencken-style atheistic journalist, and Edward Andrews as George Babbitt, a character borrowed from another Sinclair Lewis novel. ~ Hal Erickson, Rovimore

“A Face in the Crowd” – Andy Griffith makes a spectacular film debut in this searing drama as Lonesome Rhodes, a philosophical country-western singer discovered in a tanktown jail by radio talent scout Patricia Neal and her assistant Walter Matthau. They decide that Rhodes is worthy of a radio spot, but the unforeseen result is that the gangly, aw-shucks entertainer becomes an overnight sensation not simply on radio but, thereafter, on television. As he ascends to stardom, Rhodes attracts fans, sponsors and endorsements by the carload, and soon he is the most powerful and influential entertainer on the airwaves. Beloved by his audience, Rhodes reveals himself to his intimates as a scheming, power-hungry manipulator, with Machiavellian political aspirations. He uses everyone around him, coldly discarding anyone who might impede his climb to the top (one such victim is sexy baton-twirler Lee Remick, likewise making her film debut). Just when it seems that there’s no stopping Rhodes’ megalomania, his mentor and ex-lover Neal exposes this Idol of Millions as the rat that he is. She arranges to switch on the audio during the closing credits of Rhodes’ TV program, allowing the whole nation to hear the grinning, waving Rhodes characterize them as “suckers” and “stupid idiots.” Instantly, Rhodes’ popularity rating plummets to zero. As he drunkenly wanders around his penthouse apartment, still not fully comprehending what has happened to him, Rhodes is deserted by the very associates who, hours earlier, were willing to ask “how high?” when he yelled “jump”. Written by Budd Schulberg, Face in the Crowd was not a success, possibly because it hit so close to home with idol-worshipping TV fans. Its reputation has grown in the intervening years, not only because of its value as a film but because of the novelty of seeing the traditionally easygoing Andy Griffith as so vicious and manipulative a character as Lonesome Rhodes.

Regardless of what some of the remaining “#NeverTrumpers” believe, I am still a Christian American Conservative.

However, among the gifts which God has graciously given me, is the gift of discernment.

When something “just doesn’t seem right”, that still small voice cause my ears to perk up, like a dog smelling bacon frying in the kitchen.

My time as a Collegiate Radio News Director from 1978-1980, along with my journalism courses, taught me how to perform reseach and get to the bottom of an event or a situation, which has piqued my attention.

And, to top all of that, to risk being rude, that before-mentioned gift, has also allowed me to recognize a bunch of BS when I hear it or read it.

These things have led me to discern that Glenn Beck has become crazier than an Outhouse Rat. (That’s a Southern Colloquialism for meshuga, y’all.)

I can remember when The Glenn Beck Program first came on in the Memphis Radio Market.

I remember thinking, “Hey, this fellow’s pretty sharp. He’s entertaining and he makes some excellent political points.”

Through the era of the TEA Party and the 2008 elections, Beck became a TEA Party Darling, standing in solidarity with those Americans, who were “Taxed Enough Already”.

But then…things slowly started to change.

Imperceptible at first, Beck slowly, over a span of years, changed from being an analyzer of the news, to a maker of it. He changed from being a commentator to being a self-appointed prophet.

Now, in the aftermath of  Donald J. Trump becoming the Republican Presidential Candidate, Beck, whose severe case of Trump Derangement Syndrome, has made his once-entertaining radio program unlistenable, has now turned into an Old Testament Prophet, shaming those Christians who may even be thinking about voting for Trump.

I do believe that Beck’s Holy Garments have ridden up into a dark and lonely place.

Once one of my favorite radio show hosts to listen to, Beck has, in the last couple of years, become unlistenable.

The times that I have tuned in, during the course of the Republican Primaries, is sounded like Beck was possessed with the spirit of the late, great Ricardo Montalban, in his scene-stealing role as Khan in “Star Trek II”. I fully expect to hear him say at one point:

[quoting from Melville’s Moby Dick] To the last, I will grapple with thee… from Hell’s heart, I stab at thee! For hate’s sake, I spit my last breath at thee!

Holding one’s breath until they turn blue, or telling a Christian American Conservative that they are somehow condemned to Hell and are Unpatriotic, for voting for and supporting Donald J. Trump in his quest to become the next President of the United States of America, is not going to change the reality of the situation.

Neither will staying at home and not voting this November.

That’s been tried before.

That is how we got stuck with Petulant President Pantywaist.

That is the cold, stark reality that finally hit Conservative Talk Show Host and Constitutional Lawyer Mark Levin square between the eyes.

Not voting for Trump IS a vote for Hillary. PERIOD.

Quite frankly…

If you hate Donald J. Trump so much, that you are willing to sacrifice America’s Future to get your “revenge”, seek professional help.

Or…change your last name to Khan…or Ahab.

The War Against Christianity: Donald Trump Tells Christian Americans, “They Took Away Your Voice.” He’s Right.

donald-trumpDo Christian American Churches have the right to invite political candidates and public officials to speak from their pulpits?

Do Christian American Churches, like Christian American Conservative Bloggers, such as myself, still have the right to express our concerns about the direction that America is taking, by framing it in the context of traditional Christian American Faith and Values?

Or, should Christian Americans keep our faith out of the Public Arena of Ideas, like the “Smartest People in the Room” keep  insisting?

One Presidential Candidate recently took a stand for the First Amendment Rights of Christian Americans.

Cnsnews.com reports that

Republican Donald Trump told a roomful of evangelicals on Thursday that he was surprised to learn they are afraid to endorse him because they worry about their churches losing their non-profit status.

“Your power has been totally taken away. I mean, I don’t want to insult anybody, but your power has been totally taken away,” Trump told the gathering in Orlando, Fla.

“So, we’re going to get your voice back. We’re going to get it back,” he promised.

Trump explained how he recently learned about the so-called “Johnson amendment,” proposed by President Lyndon B. Johnson in 1954. The amendment changed the tax code to bar tax-exempt groups from endorsing political candidates or otherwise preaching politics from the pulpit.

“So I didn’t know this, and I didn’t know about the — I know 501(c)(3), but I didn’t know that it played such a big role. And basically, I looked back into it. I said, I want to check this out,” Trump told the pastors.

Trump said he was surprised to learn that Johnson, by getting his amendment passed, was able to “silence people who didn’t feel so good about him.”

“And I said, wow, that’s incredible. And for some reason, the churches, the pastors, the evangelicals, they didn’t do anything about it. It’s very strange, because I know how tough you are.”

Given the size of their congregations, pastors “should be far more powerful,” Trump said.

“And if you look what’s happened to religion, if you look at what’s happening to Christianity, and you look at the number of people going to churches — and evangelicals know this also — it’s not on this kind of a climb, it’s on this kind of a climb of slow and steady in the wrong direction.

“And a lot of it has to do with the fact that you’ve been silenced. You’ve been silenced like a child. You’ve been silenced, you’ve been silenced. Strong, brilliant, great people that want to do the right thing. We’re not talking about bad people, we’re talking about great people.”

Trump said pastors should be able to air their political views in church without fear of losing their federal tax exempt status.  “And I’m going to figure a way that we can get you back your freedom of speech that was taken away,” he said. The line drew applause.

Trump noted that as he got closer to receiving the Republican presidential nomination, he told his people to add repeal of the Johnson amendment into the Republican Party Platform.

And he said he intends to follow through with repeal efforts: “I was with a couple of pastors two weeks ago and they weren’t really sure. They had heard we’re going to get rid of it, but they weren’t really sure.

“I hope you can spread the word,” Trump said. “This will be so great for religion, but it will be so great for the evangelicals, for the pastors, for the ministers, for the priests, for America, for America. You know, they took away your voice. They took away the voice of great people.

“They took away the voice of people that want to see good things happen. It’s not like they took away a bad voice, an evil voice. They took away a voice.”

Trump promised that he’ll be able to “terminate” the Johnson amendment.

“And you’ll have great power to do good things. And religion will start going, instead of this way — I mean, Christianity, when you think of what’s happening, you look at the numbers. I talk about Sunday school and people don’t even know what I’m talking about anymore. It’s true. They don’t know what I’m talking about.

“When you look — instead of going this way, you’re going to be going this way. You may be going this way. But you’re going to be going — we’re going to bring it back because it’s a good thing. It’s a good thing. They treated you like it was a bad thing, but it’s a great thing, not a good thing. It’s a great thing.

“So, if I get elected president, one of the early things, one of the absolute first things I’m going to do is work on totally knocking out the Johnson amendment. Now, it’s not going to be that hard, because even the Democrats — the power you have is so enormous. It’s not like you have — you represent two percent of the country and, you know, it’s going to be difficult. You probably — 75, 80 percent.

“And if you want to put your full weight, I mean, can you imagine if all of your people start calling up the local congressman and the local senator, and you — I mean, they don’t have a chance of winning that one.”

Trump also told the pastors he “may not perfect,” but he knows how to win. He admitted to being “not perfect on the Bible — but I did go to Sunday school for many years, I want to tell you that.”

Before I get started with my analysis, please allow me this disclaimer:

I am a member of a Contemporary Evangelical Church, which I attend regularly, when I am not working on Sunday.

My faith is not marginal. I stand on The Solid Rock, not shifting sands.

America is a Constitutional Republic, not a Theocracy. And, as such, Americans, including the 75% of us who declare that Jesus Christ is our Personal Savior, must each make our own individual choice as to whom would best represent us as the Leader of the Free World, based upon both logic and the Spiritual Gift of Discernment.

Logic dictates that I vote for someone who will keep my family, my friends, and my country safe from the murderous barbarians that are at our gates. It also drives me to choose someone who actually has a chance to defeat the Democrat Candidate, the representative of the political party whose sitting President has driven this Sovereign Nation straight down the Highway to Hell, over the last seven years.

Judging from the Republican Primaries’ outcome, and the overflowing crowds at his Campaign Rallies that the MSM refuses to acknowledge, the overwhelming majority of voters believe that candidate to be Donald J. Trump.

During the Republican Primary Season, I was called everything but “a Child of God”, simply because I wrote factual posts about Donald J. Trump and stated that I would pencil in the bubble beside his name as my choice to fill the Office of President of the United States of America.

According to some people, you are not truly a Christian, if you are willing to make that choice.

However, I beg to differ.

That being said, Christianity, the faith of the overwhelming majority of Americans has played a part not only in the birth of our nation, but also the shaping of its Domestic and Foreign Policies.

To deny that fact is to attempt to rewrite history.

There is no such codicil in the Constitution of the United States of America as “The Separation of Church and State”.

Per the website, usconsitution.net,

One of the founding fathers, Thomas Jefferson, is directly responsible for giving us this phrase. In his 1802 letter to the Danbury Baptist Association, then-President Jefferson used the phrase — it was probably not the first time, but it is the most memorable one. He said:

Believing with you that religion is a matter which lies solely between man and his god, [the people, in the 1st Amendment,] declared that their legislature should make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof, thus building a wall of separation between church and state.

Jefferson did not have a hand in the authoring of the Constitution, nor of the 1st Amendment, but he was an outspoken proponent of the separation of church and state, going back to his time as a legislator in Virginia. In 1785, Jefferson drafted a bill that was designed to quash an attempt by some to provide taxes for the purpose of furthering religious education. He wrote that such support for religion was counter to a natural right of man:

… no man shall be compelled to frequent or support any religious worship, place, or ministry whatsoever, nor shall be enforced, restrained, molested, or burthened in his body or goods, nor shall otherwise suffer, on account of his religious opinions or belief; but that all men shall be free to profess, and by argument to maintain, their opinions in matters of religion, and that the same shall in no wise diminish, enlarge, or affect their civil capacities.

Jefferson’s act was passed, though not without some difficulty, in Virginia. Eyler Robert Coates wrote that the act was copied in the acts or constitutions of several states, either in words or in concepts. Jefferson himself was in France by the time word of the act reached Europe, and he wrote back to America that his act was well-thought of and admired.

However, unlike the tyranny in England that our Founding Fathers escaped from, no one in this present free nation has ever been forced to follow the teachings of Jesus Christ, the Son of God.

And, that fact is extremely evident in some of the comments one sees on Facebook Political Pages and Political Websites.

But, I digress…

In recent times, especially under the current Democrat President, Barack Hussein Obama (mm mmm mmmm), a concerted effort has been made to marginalize Christian Americans, putting us in a box if you will. a lot of Liberals and “libertarians” seem to believe that Christianity Americans should only practice our faith on Sunday Mornings from 9 – 12, and be seen and not heard the rest of week.

To which I personally answer, with two quotes from the Bible,

So Judas threw the money into the temple and left. Then he went away and hanged himself. – Matthew 27:5 (NIV)

…”Go and do likewise.” – Luke 10:37 (NIV)

And, boys and girls, that is MY right as an American.

For decades, American churches, like the black congregations in my hometown of Memphis, Tennessee, have invited local politicians to speak from their pulpits. while Modern American Liberals have had conniption fits over white churches around the country doing the same thing, they have not said a mumblin’ word about the actions of a constituency which historically votes Democratic.

Imagine that.

The Johnson Amendment was a violation of Christian Americans’ Constitutional Rights to begin with, whose selective enforcement has been an intentional act of self-serving hypocrisy by the Democratic Party.

The Republican President Candidate was exactly right in what he told that meeting of Evangelical Christians on Thursday:

They took away the voice of people that want to see good things happen. It’s not like they took away a bad voice, an evil voice. They took away a voice.

This November I pray that voice is heard once again…loud and clear.

Anti-Trumpers Attempt Coup at RNC Last Night. Epic Failure Ensues.

All-Aboard-600-LAThe 2016 Republican National Convention kicked off in Cleveland last night in epic fashion, with dynamic speakers and an optimistic hopefulness that America will be “healed’ of this petulant malaise that we have been suffering under since January 21st of 2009.

The convention promises to be a celebration of massive proportions.

However, Opening Night proved the old adage that “Every party must have a pooper”.

In this case, there were a bunch of them.

According to Bloomberg Politics,

Republican factions trying to stop Donald Trump’s presidential nomination and change party guidelines noisily disrupted a vote on convention rules, putting on full display the fissures in the party on the first day of its national gathering.

Delegates from Colorado were seen walking out of the convention hall, and former Virginia Attorney General Ken Cuccinelli was spotted angrily throwing his convention credentials to the floor after an effort to seek a roll-call vote on convention rules was cut
The disruption on Monday came as Trump and party officials were opening what is supposed to be a rallying point for Republicans leading into the general election. After the ruckus, the convention went into recess until a schedule of prime-time events and speakers, including the presumptive nominee’s appearance in the hall Monday night to introduce his wife, Melania. It was unclear whether there would be further protests.

What should have been a procedural vote erupted in chanting and exchanges of angry words among delegates gathered in Cleveland.

Senator Mike Lee of Utah, who like Cuccinelli supported Texas Senator Ted Cruz in the nomination campaign, told reporters on the floor of the arena where the convention’s being held that he was still trying to trying to get an answer to why party officials blocked a roll-call vote on the rules that would govern the convention and set guidelines for nominating process.

“This is not about Mr. Trump,” he said. “This is about having a fair rules process.”

Delegate Joel Mattila, wearing a Trump “Make America Great” hat, yelled “sour grapes” to Lee.

“Is it sour grapes to ask for a roll call vote?” Lee replied.

The anti-Trump delegates were seeking changes that would give them the ability to vote for someone other than Trump as well as altering other rules, such as limiting participation in future presidential primaries and caucuses to only registered Republicans.

While it was unlikely to stop Trump, who won far more delegates than he needs for the nomination, a roll call vote on the rules would have given anti-Trump delegates more opportunity to voice their disapproval. It potentially also could have caused an embarrassing delay in the schedule for the convention’s prime-time lineup on its opening day.

Representative Steve Womack of Arkansas, sitting as temporary chairman of the convention, asked for a voice vote to approve the rules, even as delegates who wanted a roll call began shouting their disapproval.

Despite notable shouts of “nay” from the floor, Womack declared the panel’s report had been approved and left the stage. There was a roar from delegates shouting and chanting “roll call vote!”

Several minutes later, Womack returned and said the measure had passed. Nine states had originally asked the chairman’s decision be subject to a roll call vote, he said, but since three states had withdrawn their support, the six remaining didn’t meet the requirement of eight needed to force a roll call.

“The chair has found insufficient support for the request for a record vote,” Womack said, ruling out the possibility of a roll call.

Supporters of the roll-call vote were left fuming.

Manette Merrill, a delegate from Washington, said microphones were turned off to avoid protesting.

“They want to shut us down,” she said.

Former Senator Gordon Humphrey said he filed requisite signatures to force a roll-call vote. Humphrey, a New Hampshire delegate who backed Ohio Governor John Kasich, said he wasn’t confident that RNC staff had the “courage” or “independence” to “stand up” to pressure from the Trump organization to disallow or ignore petitions.

In an interview with MSNBC, he called the presumptive nominee’s supporters “brown shirts”  who “act like fascists.”

“They rolled through. They cheated. That’s what you just saw — them violate their own rules,” Cuccinelli told MSNBC.

Less than an hour after the display of disunity on the floor, delegates were asked to look to the back of the arena to pose for a sort of family photo documenting their gathering in Cleveland.

Delegates opposed to Trump tried to change party rules last week to block his nomination by allowing delegates to vote their consciences regardless of how their state voted earlier this year in primaries and caucuses.

Trump argued that millions of Republicans have spoken in the primary elections and caucuses earlier this year and selected him to be their standard-bearer in a race against presumptive Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton in November.

The billionaire was scheduled to accept the nomination in a formal speech on Thursday.

As a Christian American Conservative, I can understand some Conservatives’ reluctance to support Donald J.Trump.

That being said, at this late stage, the unrealistic expectation of “launching a coup” on the Opening Night of the Republican National Convention, through which, somehow, to steal the Republican Presidential Nomination from Trump or the victory in the General Election from Trump, simply because the Primary Elections, due to the will of the American people, had not gone the way that you envisioned it, amounts to nothing more than a willful act of sabotage, which could have enabled the loathsome Hillary Clinton to become President.

The failure of Senator Ted Cruz’s campaign to become the Republican nominee, is attributable to no one except his Campaign Advisors and the Senator, himself.

Instead of attempting to form a coalition, as Trump has, as exhibited last night by the wonderful Opening Night Speakers, the Cruz Campaign, along with the unsolicited help of Radio Talk Show Host and Real-Life Elmer Gantry , Glenn Beck, positioned themselves, whether accidentally or on purpose, to resemble an old fashioned Tent Revival, at times, reminiscent of the old Neil Diamond song, “Brother Love’s Traveling Salvation Show”.

While I am also extremely concerned about the social issues which face this country and the slippery slope that we seem to be traveling on, at this time, that is not what is foremost on the minds of the American Voting public.

Americans are living paycheck-to-paycheck, while more and more of us, through no fault of our own, are being expunged from the American Workforce, with that number now being well over 94, 400, 000.

Meanwhile, up on Capitol Hill, those whom we have voted into office to represent us, are more intent on reaching across the aisle, fulfilling the interests of a small minority of Americans, who would radically change this nation into something unrecognizable, turning The Shining City Upon the Hill into the World’s Piggy Bank and Doormat.

Hillary Clinton must not be given the chance to continue the failed policies of Barack Hussein Obama, facilitating an accelerated Ascent of America into an abyss that we may never be able to climb out of.

Certain members of the Republican establishment have already announced that they will not support Trump, even if he is the Republican Nominee.

It would have been the height of irony and a disservice to American Conservatives who have gone before, if last night’s last-ditch attempt by a group of “Conservatives”, to launch a coup at the convention, undid all of the hard work of those who have tried to prevent this country’s destruction by an out-of-control Federal Government which panders to Special Interest Groups, instead of the American voters, while aligning themselves with the Establishment, or Vichy, Republicans, whose disdain for average Americans, was the impetus for Donald J’ Trump’s victory in the Republican Primaries.

If Republican Voters did not want Donald J. Trump as their Republican Presiden6tial Candidate, they would not have voted for himin record numbers in the Rpublican Primary Elections.

Now is not the time for temper tantrums, now is the time for unity…and maturity.

It is time to begin the process of taking America back.

Emailgate, The Rule of Law, and the “NeverTrumpers”

Cut-Off-600-nrdUp on Capitol Hill this morning, those who are supposed to be our Public Servants will put on a Dog and Pony Show, which promises to be interesting, but not impactful.

I hope that I am wrong.

Foxnews.com reports that

FBI Director James Comey will explain Thursday to House lawmakers his bombshell decision not to recommend criminal charges against Hillary Clinton over her handling of sensitive emails.

Comey, who took no questions after announcing his decision Tuesday, agreed to go before the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee after several lawmakers sought an explanation. In saying he would not press the Justice Department to pursue an indictment against the likely Democrat nominee for president, Comey nonetheless laid out a strong case that she had violated laws regulating government employees’ safeguarding of sensitive emails.

“The FBI’s recommendation is surprising and confusing,” Committee Chairman Jason Chaffee, R-Utah, said. “The fact pattern presented by Director Comey makes clear Secretary Clinton violated the law. Individuals who intentionally skirt the law must be held accountable. Congress and the American people have a right to understand the depth and breadth of the FBI’s investigation.”

Comey said 110 emails in 52 email chains discovered on Clinton’s unauthorized server were classified at the time they were sent or received, including some that were “top secret.” He also said that while the probe did not prove Clinton’s server was hacked, it may have been – and he pointedly noted that she used unsecure devices while visiting countries hostile to the U.S.

In addition to Chaffee, Sen. Ron Johnson, R-Wis., and Rep. Bob Goodlatte, R-Va., wrote the FBI director demanding to know how he justified his decision.

House and Senate judiciary committees could also seek testimony from Comey and his boss, Attorney General Loretta Lynch.

Lynch was already slated to testify next Tuesday at a House Oversight Committee hearing where Fox News has learned she will be questioned about the email investigation, and possibly her secret meeting with former President Bill Clinton just days before her department dropped the email case against the former first lady.

Coney’s decision was seen in many quarters as a punt. By branding Clinton’s use of unauthorized servers to send and receive sensitive — and in some cases top secret — information as “extremely careless,” Comey gave Clinton’s critics plenty of ammunition.

Rush Limbaugh made the following observations during his nationally syndicated Radio Program, yesterday…

Now, obviously criminal types have no respect for it, by definition.  But we’re not talking about criminals.  We’re talking about people in public life.  We’re talking about elected officials who campaign and seek our votes for all kinds of reasons.  And one of the things that is paramount in every election is the attempt to elect people who are of impeccable character, who are honest, who have integrity, who will thus respect the rule of law.  They run for president, they run for vice president, Senate, House, mayor, whatever, there is a United States Constitution, there are state constitutions, there is the oath of office.  It all matters.

We assume that the people who seek votes, who want to hold these high offices, we have always been able to assume they were people, we might disagree with politically or ideologically, but they had a common acceptance and reverence and respect for the governing documents that held the country together and defined it.  That’s what we’re losing here.  You can see it in the fight over the Second Amendment.  You can see it in any number of ways that the Democrats feel like they’re hamstrung by it.

To them, the Constitution is unfair, it’s too limiting, it’s is antiquated, it’s outdated, and it’s so insignificant now, you don’t even have to go through the legal process of amending it.  You can just ignore it because these are modern times, and it was written so long ago, and the Founders couldn’t possibly have anticipated what life would be like today.  Therefore, what they wrote should not be automatically applicable to life today.  That is the absence of respect for the rule of law.  And it’s exactly what’s happening.

Liberalism scares me, folks.  I come across here as adamantly opposed to it, but I do so because it scares me.  Liberalism, socialism, communism, they scare me. They frighten me because of what they portend life to become should they become dominant governmental mandates, should it become the way our government is operating.  Because it all equals the loss of liberty.

No matter how you slice it, the advent of liberalism, the spread of liberalism must, in order to spread, in order to grow, people have to lose freedom, people have to lose liberty, because liberalism is the amassing of power at the government level and as much as they can get.  And in order for them to have it, they have to take it.

As I was thinking about where to go at this point in this post, in regards to the chances of Presumptive Republican Candidate, Donald J. Trump, my mind (such as it is) began to analyze what Trump has said in the past.

If he had “played by the rules”, regarding upholding the Washingtonian Status Quo, he would not be where he is.

He continues to fight, not only those on the Democrat Side of the aisle, who are determined to make the Queen of Mean, Hillary Clinton, our next President, but, also those Republicans, and self-proclaimed “True Conservatives”, who want to keep Trump from becoming President of the United States of America at all costs, even if it means sacrificing our children’s and grandchildren’s future to do it.

You have either watched them on television, encountered them on Facebook Political Pages, or attempted to have a conversation with them in person.

They are the #NeverTrumpers.

For example, once one of my favorite radio show hosts to listen to, Glenn Beck has, in the last couple of years, become unlistenable.

The times that I have tuned in, during the course of the Republican Primaries, it sounded like Beck was possessed with the spirit of the late, great Ricardo Montalban, in his scene-stealing role as Khan in “Star Trek II”. I still fully expect to hear him say at one point:

[quoting from Melville’s Moby Dick] To the last, I will grapple with thee… from Hell’s heart, I stab at thee! For hate’s sake, I spit my last breath at thee!

As the spot-on cartoon that I used for the blog this morning, courtesy of the creative genius of Antonio F. Branco, illustrates, the #NeverTrumpers’ selfish obsession hurts themselves, as well as the country.

Finally, if these “NeverTrumpers”, who claim to be Republicans, like Political Pundits Bill Kristol and George Will,  decide to pull a last-minute double-cross and have a Brokered Convention, or form a “Third Party”, nominating their own Moderate Milksop of a Presidential Candidate, America will be swearing-in Crooked Hillary as President next January.

Quite frankly…

If you hate Donald J. Trump so much, that you are willing to sacrifice America’s Future to get your “revenge”, seek professional help.

Or…change your last name to Khan…or Ahab.

We must never have someone who believes that they are above the law sitting behind the desk in the Oval Office in the most powerful position in the Free World.

The #NeverTrump Mass Temper Tantrum Continues: George Will Announces Departure From GOP. Well…Bye!

image

By now, I’m sure that you have seen or heard Donald J. Trump’s New Campaign Slogan, “I’m With You”, meaning that he stands with us average Americans, not the Political Elite of our nation.

And, that has made “The Smartest People in the Room” positively apoplectic.

PJMedia.com reports that

Conservative columnist George Will told PJM he has officially left the Republican Party and urged conservatives not to support presumptive GOP nominee Donald Trump even if it leads to a Democratic victory in the 2016 presidential election.

Will, who writes for the Washington Post, acknowledged it is a “little too late” for the Republican Party to find a replacement for Trump but had a message for Republican voters.

“Make sure he loses. Grit their teeth for four years and win the White House,” Will said during an interview after his speech at a Federalist Society luncheon.

Will said he changed his voter registration this month from Republican to “unaffiliated” in the state of Maryland.

“This is not my party,” Will said during his speech at the event.

He mentioned House Speaker Paul Ryan’s (R-Wis.) endorsement of Trump as one of the factors that led him to leave the party.

Will, a Fox News contributor, said a “President Trump” with “no opposition” from a Republican-led Congress would be worse than a Hillary Clinton presidency with a Republican-led Congress.

Will did not say if he would vote for the Libertarian Party nominee, former Gov. Gary Johnson (R-N.M.), telling the crowd he does not know whether or not the Libertarian ticket is going to help or hurt Clinton.

Back in August of 2015, the following information was found on legalinsurrection.com

(From a George Will Op ed) Conservatives who flinch from forthrightly marginalizing Trump mistakenly fear alienating a substantial Republican cohort. But the assumption that today’s Trumpites are Republicans is unsubstantiated and implausible. Many are no doubt lightly attached to the political process, preferring entertainment to affiliation. They relish their candidate’s vituperation and share his aversion to facts. From what GOP faction might Trumpites come? The establishment? Social conservatives? Unlikely.

They certainly are not tea partyers, those earnest, issue-oriented, book-club organizing activists who are passionate about policy. Trump’s aversion to reality was displayed during the Cleveland debate when Chris Wallace asked him for “evidence” to support his claim that Mexico’s government is sending rapists and drug dealers to the United States. Trump, as usual, offered apoplexy as an argument.

(Will concludes his piece calling for “excommunicating” Trump and his supporters from the GOP:)

So, conservatives today should deal with Trump with the firmness Buckley dealt with the John Birch Society in 1962. The society was an extension of a loony businessman who said Dwight Eisenhower was “a dedicated, conscious agent of the Communist conspiracy.” In a 5,000-word National Review “excoriation” (Buckley’s word), he excommunicated the society from the conservative movement.

It is no secret that the Republican Elite (of which George Will is a charter member) and the Democratic Party, whose Presumptive Presidential Candidate, Hillary Clinton, is going to face Donald Trump in the 2016 Presidential Election, despise Donald J. Trump.

Hillary Clinton and George Will, on the surface, appear to have nothing in common.

However, when you step back and actually listen to them, they are kindred spirits in the way in which they approach Political Communication.

Both of them seem to think that average Americans, you know, those of us who actually work for a living, can not think for ourselves and are more gullible than the boy in the movie, “The Christmas Story”, who stuck his tongue to a freezing flagpole on a Triple Dog Dare.

Unfortunately, for these two “Smartest People in the Room”, the reality is, they are not as smart as they both believe themselves to be.

Average Americans have a long fuse… which leads to a barrel of gunpowder.

George Will is correct. This is not “his” Republican Party anymore.

The “peasants” are revolting.

The reason that Donald J Trump handily beat all of the Republican Primary Candidates for the Presidential Nomination of their party, is the fact that average Americans have reached the end of our collective fuse.

We have had our fill of professional politicians, such as the one who currently occupies the White House, who always promise the moon, and consistently deliver blue cheese, instead.

We are tired of watching our country go down the old porcelain receptacle, for the sake of Political Expediency and Political Correctness.

Average Americans are waking up and beginning to take a stand, in what I hope will be a grassroots effort to reclaim America from those who claim to be leaders, but who actually care more about themselves, than they do for the future of America and the future of our children and grandchildren.

I will truly enjoy watching Hillary’s presidential bid go down in flames. It could not happen to a nicer person.

Where that woman spits, grass never grows again.

I will also enjoying watching Donald J. Trump verbally diet her, piece by rancid piece.

Trump has always been a “people person”.

That is the reason that, when he was still a contributor to Fox News, he would speak to everyone in the building, from the maintenance crew, on up the ladder.

As Sam Walton, the Founder of Walmart, knew, you don’t inspire people by acting imperious and above it all.

“Mr. Sam”, until his health would no longer allow him to do so, would travel to Walmart Stores in his old pickup truck, with a tie and a baseball cap on, visiting the employees, in order to find out how his stores were doing.

He knew that the only was to be successful and to stay in touch with the public, was to be out among them, and speak to them honestly and directly, as one would speak to a friend.

The Political Establishment, of both parties, lost that concept, a long time ago.

Bypassing the borders to communication, historically determined by both political parties and the Main Stream Media, is a concept which I first witnessed being employed by a Presidential Candidate in the 1980 Presidential Election, named Ronald Wilson Reagan.

While I am not comparing the two, I am noting that this strategy has proved and is proving effective, in the case of both Presidential Candidates.

As the polls show, and will continue to show, Trump is striking a resonant chord in the hearts of Average Americans, living here in the part of America, which the snobbish Political Elites refer to as “Flyover Country”, but which we refer to as “America’s Heartland”, or, quite simply, “HOME”.

We average Americans have taken a great deal of pleasure in watching him put the Elites’ of both parties knickers in a twist.

What the Land of the Free and the Home of the Brave needs right now, is forthrightness and blunt honesty.

Political Expediency and Political Correctness be dam… well, you know.

Until He Comes,

KJ
