The Washington Meltdown: Dems Call for “Compromise”. Vichy Republicans Want to Surrender.

Cartoon-Cruz-Vs-Establishment-600The apparent 2016 Democrat Presidential Candidate, Former First Lady and personal friend of the late Vince Foster, Hillary Rodham Clinton, related the following story the other day…

We were in another one of these dramas in Washington — would we or would we not default on our debt? And all the business leaders wanted to talk to me about was, ‘was the United States going to default on its debt?’ And I kept saying, ‘Oh, of course not. We would never do that.’ And just hoping and praying that I was right. 

What I saw, in that incident, was bewilderment. Like, how could the United States do that to itself? Especially countries that believe in our model, really cherish our values, want to be moving more toward our example.

Fast forward, this last time — as I talked to people around the world — there was a sense like, ‘if you guys can’t get your act together, we need to de-Americanize the world.’ Which was a phrase used by a high-ranking Chinese official. That is not good news for us. That is a very unfortunate conclusion. 

So we have to pull ourselves together. We have to stand up, solve our problems. Everybody is not going to get everything they want. We have to get back to good old fashioned compromise and we have to make those decisions that reassure America’s leadership at home and abroad.

“De-Americanize the World”? That is absolutely hilarious, coming from the Chinese, who have, over the past decade, been turning themselves into a Communist Model of a Capitalist Country.

But, I digress…

Is it just me, or have y’all noticed the renewed cry for “Compromise” in the Halls of Power in Washington, DC?

And, the funny thing is, this renewed cry of “Can’t we all just get along” is coming when the President of the United States, Barack Hussein Obama (mm mmm mmmm), has dropped to a very low 37% Job Approval Rate in National Polls, which are always composed to be weighted with more Democrat participants than Republicans.

Hence, the Former “First Mama’s” “Call for Compromise”, even while her Democrat brethren and sisters in the Senate dropped the Nuclear Option, taking away the right to filibuster in the Senate, as I reported yesterday.

If the Hildebeast was a physician, I would tell her to “heal thyself”. But, since she isn’t, she needs to just “heal”.  

I find it quite funny and revealing that the Democrats are calling for “compromise”.

Heck, they always do when they realize that the things they want to do, are the exact opposite of the will of the majority of the American People….and those same citizens, who can fire their sorry rear-ends every 2 years, are beginning to rise up on their hind legs, like a lion about to drop a zebra on the Serengeti.

Look at the facts: As I just mentioned, you have a president whose Signature Legislation, quite frankly, Marxist in nature, is now opposed by 93% of the American People, and whose job approval rating is going down like the Titanic into the icy depths of oblivion.

The Democrats are calling for Compromise in an act of desperation, feverishly attempting to hold on to whatever power and, **cough** credibility they have left.

Now, as any average American with common sense, out here in the Heartland will tell you, when your opponent in a fight is about to land face-first on the ground after a knockout punch, you don’t hold him up and hit yourself in the face at the same time.

However, that is exactly what Mitch McConnell, John Boehner, and the rest of the Vichy Republicans are doing.

Lacking any sense of self-preservation, these spineless Professional Politicians, while giving lip service to those who elected them in the Mid-Term Massacre of 2010, are still reaching across the aisle to their political opponents, offering them support and succor as one would a family member in their time of need.

At the same time, Mitch McConnell came out the other day, and called The Tea Party Movement, who gave the Republicans the House of Representatives in 2010, “a bunch of bullies”.

To quote the late , great Slim Pickens in “Blazing Saddles”,

What is the Wide, Wide World of Sports is a’goin’ on here?

And to pile on in the Vichy Republican Race to Extinction, House Speaker John Boehner, has proclaimed that they are “not through with Immigration Reform, yet”.

What is the matter with you guys? As we say down here in Dixie,

Are y’all just ate up with “The Stupid”?

I can’t hear the high-pitched whines of the young and dumb, and old and didactic Liberals out there, right now,

But, your President, Reagan, compromised, all the time!!! 1!1! Eleventy!!!

Why, yes, he did. But, 99.99% of the time,,,he got what HE wanted, in the first place…and usually, what the American People wanted. He did his job as the President.

Please compare and contrast to the no-compromise Petulant President who meanders his way into the Oval Office, Monday through Friday, around 10:00 a.m., and puts his feet on the Resolute desk.

If you believe that President Reagan would have allowed the Nuclear Option to have been dropped in the Senate during his lifetime, you probably still live in your Mom’s basement.

In the Real World,you negotiate from a position of strength, in order to achieve the goals you have set. You are prepared to give the perception of compromise, all the while, moving your opponent in the direction you want them to go, all the while keeping something in your hip pocket, to be used to your advantage.

Unfortunately, both the Democrats and the Vichy Republicans have construed the definition of “Compromise” to mean a surrender of Conservative ideals and Poltical Ideology, and an acceptance all Liberal Political Stances.

If this blatant, oblivious, self-serving stupidity of the part of both Political Parties continues, both Congress’ and Obama’s numbers are going to continue to tank.

And, the Mid-Term Election of 2010 will pale in comparison to 2014.

And, that will be a good thing.

Election Aftermath: The Tea Party/Reagan Conservatives Vs. Liberals on Both “Sides of the Aisle”

McCainObamaMay I ask y’all something?  Whose side are the Beltway Republicans on?  You know who I’m talking about.  The I’m smarter-than-you, reach-across-the aisle RINOs, whose go along to get along embracing of Liberalism resulted in the 2006 election of the worst Congress in history and the horrible first two years of this national nightmare called the Obama Presidency.

I’m not just talking about politicians.  I’m also talking about the squishy national so-called Conservative Pundits, whose Conservatism bends to the Left with the prevailing D.C. political winds.

In Tuesday’s Election, the divide between these Vichy Republicans and the Conservative Base of the Republican Party, was made clearly evident, by their unflagging support for New Jersey Governor Chris Christie, RINO Extraordinaire, and their lack of support for Virginia Gubernatorial Republican Candidate, Ken Cuccinelli.

Rush Limbaugh nails it, per usual.

Cuccinelli was supposed to lose this thing in a landslide. He ended up losing it by one to two percent. So it fits the Clinton model to a T. Bagman candidate, third-party candidate that’s a bogus placeholder, to siphon off votes, and it worked like a charm. But the details coming out of Virginia are even more frustrating and maddening than that. Even though they were predicted, it’s still frustrating to see it happen.

And I must tell you, folks, I’ve got audio sound bites here, I’m somewhat surprised, because in a series of these sound bites the Drive-By Media is not all that ecstatic over what happened in Virginia. I mean, they’re not looking at it as a repudiation of the Tea Party ’cause they know that’s not what happened. You know who wants you to think it’s a repudiation of the Tea Party? The GOP establishment. There’s some fascinating numbers here. The Republican National Committee in 2009 in the gubernatorial race there for Bob McDonnell, the Republican National Committee spent three times as much money four years ago on the same race as they did this year.

They spent $1 million. That’s it. One million for Ken Cuccinelli. Their candidate. The Chamber of Commerce spent zero helping Cuccinelli. Cuccinelli begged Chris Christie to come in and campaign for him. Christie said no, he wasn’t gonna do it. The Chamber of Commerce spent a million dollars four years ago in the governor’s race in Virginia, as I say, not a dime on Cuccinelli. And here we go again. Just like Mitt Romney. Cuccinelli won independents by nine points, 47 to 38%.

Now, what have we been told collectively for decades by the media? Well, hell, by the political establishment? That is, “You need to win the independents. You can’t win without the independents.” That’s what they’ve all told us. And that has been part of a trick that the media and the Democrats launched to great success against the Republicans. The theory has always been that the Democrats are gonna get 80%, the Republicans are gonna get 80%, and then there’s that great unwashed in there, that 20%. And every political candidate has been approached by every political consultant and the consultant has said, “I’m the guy that can get you that 20% of the vote. I’m the guy that can get you the independents.” And what that did was make the Republicans abandon their base and campaign, rather than for everybody, the Republicans end up with a centrist, moderate, wimpy, linguine-spined campaign aimed at so-called independents, at 20%.

Cuccinelli didn’t, by the way. But in national elections, the Republicans end up making this move. They get talked into believing that you win the independents and you win. Well, Romney won the independents going away, and he lost, didn’t he? And Cuccinelli won the independents going away. He won independents by nine points, 47 to 38%. And you now know what they’re saying? “Well, the independents are different than the moderates.” Oh, that’s new now. Now that Republicans are running the independents, it isn’t any big deal anymore. No, now you don’t need the independents. Now you gotta go out and win the moderates.

Well, what is a moderate? Tell me, Snerdley, how would you, if somebody asked you to explain to ’em what a moderate is, what would you say? It’s a liberal without the guts to say so. A moderate is one of two things: a liberal that won’t admit it or somebody that waits to see which way the wind’s blowing and joins the crowd. By definition, a moderate isn’t passionate about anything. Can’t be. But now we gotta go after the moderates.

And there’s also another lesson that’s being said here by the Republican establishment. They’re looking at Christie, they’re looking at Cuccinelli, saying, “If Cuccinelli would have just been for amnesty, and if he woulda just moderated on the social issues, who knows, he coulda won. But we couldn’t support him when he didn’t.” It’s just absolutely obscene what’s happened here, if you ask me.

Beltway politicians and Pundits live in a bubble.  They have disassociated themselves from the common people.  The only time the Beltway Elite Republicans seem to pay attention to the wishes of Americans in the Heartland is when we melt the Congressional Phone Lines down and threaten their well-paying jobs. 

That’s why the rise of the Tea Party movement and America’s return to Conservatism, which resulted in the political massacre known as the Midterm Elections, was such a surprise to them.  In their self-imposed isolation, they actually thought that the America people wanted them to continue their deal-making, soul-selling, business-as-usual politics.

Now, Republicans are scrambling, trying to figure out how to appease an angry electorate and keep their cushy jobs, in the face of their mishandling of the catastrophe known as Obamacare and their support in the push for Amnesty for Illegal Aliens.  

Pundits are trying give them all the cover they can, while offering criticism in columns specifically written as to not cost the pundit their place on the Broadcast television networks’ Sunday morning shows or to cause them to be left off the invitation list for all the cool Beltway cocktail parties.

In summation, there is still an us and them mentality in the Beltway, even among the resurgent Republican Party.  If the Republicans don’t legislate as Conservatives, and ignore the message sent to them by American voters on November 2nd, 2010, it won’t matter if the Pundits praise them or criticize them, they will be out of a job.

After all, there is much more to America than just the Beltway.  And there are a lot more American voters than there are ” Severely Conservative” Politicians and Pundits.

The Vichy Republicans remind me of “Blazing Saddles”:

We must protect our phony baloney jobs, gentlemen! Hrumph!

The greatest U.S. President of our Generation, Ronald Wilson Reagan, once said,

Freedom is never more than one generation away from extinction. We didn’t pass it to our children in the bloodstream. It must be fought for, protected, and handed on for them to do the same.

Ted Cruz, Mike Lee, and other “Tea Party Republicans” seem to be willing to do just that.

If the old guard Vichy Republicans care more about their Capitol Hill way of life than their country and their constituents, then it is time for them to get out of the way, and allow Sen. Cruz, and his allies to lead the battle against this corrupt anti-American Administration.

Because, as the old saying goes,

If you are not part of the solution, you are part of the problem.

Obama and the Vichy Republicans

McCainObamaNews came out yesterday, that President Barack Hussein Obama’s (mm mmm mmmm) popularity had dropped to 41% in the polls. Now, just when Americans are finally waking up to the Manchurian President, he is about to be bailed out…by the “Maverick” and his merry band of Vichy Republicans.

“We have been looking literally for years for someone we can cut deals with, and finally someone has stepped up,” a White House official said. West Wing aides say they now talk with McCain roughly every other day.

McCain, to hear fellow Republicans tell it, has finally found The Two he has needed to make such conversations worth the bother: Sen. Chuck Schumer, a Democrat who can actually get things done in the Senate, and Denis McDonough, a White House chief of staff who actually cares what senators say and think and do.

While Obama and party leaders clash endlessly and hopelessly, these three men are showing it is possible to put aside political and personal grievances to get consequential stuff done, even in Washington’s currently twisted state.

They would never say it this way, but more often than not, they do it by going around those party leaders — their bosses — who seem stuck in fights they will never be able to end.

This new alliance has resulted in an immigration bill and a deal to avoid the nuclear option for confirming nominees, and is in preliminary conversations to avert a government shutdown over the budget. It has created trust — tenuous but real — among these three officials (and others) who can deliver results.

The House no doubt will kill most or all of their compromises. But three men from the three power centers talking, much less agreeing, is something this city hasn’t seen in the Obama years.

The return of McCain the Maverick rankles many Republicans, but he can reliably count on seven to 10 GOP senators to back him, including Sens. Lindsey Graham of South Carolina, and Bob Corker and Lamar Alexander of Tennessee.

Isn’t it nice to know that we can always count on good ol’ Maverick and his pet dog, Grahamnesty to stab us in the back, y’all?

But wait, they’re not the only members of the Vichy Republican Brigade…There is their Fearless Leader, Mr. Speaker. But, hey, at least the Libs over at slate.com speak of Cryin’ John in glowing terms…

In an interview on “Face the Nation” on Sunday, Boehner said his job was not to dictate to Republican members what legislation they should support but merely to “facilitate” a process where they found their own outcome. He didn’t dare offer an opinion about comprehensive immigration reform because it would interfere. “It’s not about me,” the speaker told Bob Schieffer. “It’s not about what I want. What I’ve committed to, when I became speaker, was to a more open and fair process. And as difficult as this issue is, me taking a hard position for or against some of these issues will make it harder for us to get a bill … If I come out and say, ‘I’m for this’ and ‘I’m for that,’ all I’m doing is making my job harder.”

…Boehner’s constraints are self-imposed. He could make a deal with Democrats to pass immigration reform, and he has done that before on the fiscal cliff deal, the Violence Against Women Act, and Hurricane Sandy relief funding. But those issues were not as volatile in Republican ranks as immigration and did not risk a conservative crack-up. If he cut a deal, would he lose his speakership? There would have to be a viable alternative candidate who wanted to herd the cats. But even if he retained the job, that kind of crack-up would make passing bills, which will require cajoling the same conservatives, that much harder.

There has been a lot of speculation on whether Boehner will stick to the so-called Hastert Rule, allowing no bill to come to the floor unless it can pass with a majority of the majority. He has said he will not break this promise. That may be his heart’s true desire, but we can’t really know right now. Boehner understands that the more Democrats think he needs them for passage of a comprehensive bill, the more they’ll demand from him. So even if Boehner were planning on passing immigration reform with a minority of his party, he will maintain his firm stance on the Hastert Rule until the very last minute.

In the end, the question is not whether John Boehner is a leader. He is—he’s just a leader with modest ambitions. In the study of House speakers, the debate splits along lines familiar to presidential observers. Presidents are either “at liberty … to be as big a man as he can,” as Woodrow Wilson wrote when he was a Princeton political science professor. Or presidents are circumscribed by the political conditions they face, as Wilson discovered when he actually had the job. In congressional studies, the split is over whether a speaker is merely an agent carrying out the will of his conference or whether a powerful speaker can make his own weather.

At a time when the current president is going down in flames, instead of roasting marshmallows over the bonfire, Vichy Republicans are “reaching across the aisle” to help save the Prevaricator-in-Chief.

These RINOs are so consumed by their avarice and quest to be just like their Democratic allies, that they have forgotten why they were elected in the first place. If their constituents had wanted to elect Democrats, they would have pulled the lever marked “DEMOCRAT”.

It’s time for Maverick, Grahamnesty, Cryin’ John, and the rest of the GOP Elite girly-men to put their big boy pants on, and do the job they were elected to do: work for the betterment of this country, not for its destruction at the hands of Barack Hussein Obama. He’s doing fine with that…all by his lonesome.

And, as I’ve said before, if the Vichy Republicans think that the new “Americans” they’re creating will actually vote for them, replacing us worrisome members of the Conservative Base, I have two bridges over the Mississippi River at Memphisa to sell them. 

And, in the spirit of the nickname I’ve given them, and the courage they are showing, I will throw in two French Rifles from World War II….dropped once…never fired.

Say It! SAY IT!…That’s a Human Being Inside That Womb!

babyreachingforhandfromwomb2With all the chaos going on in this nation right now, at the top of the “brush fire” issues is Abortion. To say that Americans are divided over the issue is an understatement.

The focal point, for both Pro-Life Americans, such as myself, and Anti-Life or Abortion supporters, is Austin, Texas, where the state legislature is about to pass a bill which would ban late-term abortions.

At issue are identical House and Senate bills that would ban abortions after 20 weeks of pregnancy, require that the procedure be performed at ambulatory surgical centers, mandate that doctors who perform abortions obtain admitting privileges at a hospital within 30 miles and that even nonsurgical abortions take place in a surgical center.

Only five out of 42 clinics in Texas qualify as ambulatory surgical centers, and they are in major metropolitan areas. Many clinics would need to relocate to meet ventilation requirements and to have the space required for operating rooms and hallways.

Opponents of the bill say the new requirements are unnecessary and would force most Texas abortion clinics to close. Supporters of the bills say they want to reduce access to abortion and improve women’s health care. Texas health officials report that 72,240 abortions performed in the state in 2011, including 374 that happened after 20 weeks.

The 20-week ban is based on the scientifically disputed claim that a fetus can feel pain by that point and thus, deserves protection from abortion.

Additionally, the state legislature in North Carolina have included similar restrictions in a pending bill which would also ban Sharia Law.

Needless to say, Liberals are losing the minds and, are seemingly, busing Pro-Abortion Protesters in from all across the country to both state capitals.

And, Planned Parenthood is in the middle of all of these “activists”, of course.

With the Texas House debate as a backdrop, Planned Parenthood kicked off a state-wide bus tour at the Texas Capitol Tuesday morning.

The tour began with a rally and a sea of signs in orange, blue, white and black. Thousands represented two sides of the same issue of abortion regulations in Texas and how they would impact women.

Lesli Simms has been to hearings and testimony since the debate began.

“Women of color, lower income women and women who are working a second or third job cannot be here today. That’s just a simple fact. But I can and I will be here every day that I’m required,” Simms said.

She told KVUE that she spent her 22nd birthday witnessing what turned out to be a historic night in the Texas Senate.

“That filibuster though was more than a single event to block a bad bill,” said Senator Wendy Davis of Fort Worth, who delivered the filibuster that prevented a vote on the abortion bill in the first special session. “It was an expression of democracy in action and a clear signal that Texans [had] had enough.”

The Pro-Abortion crowd, outside the Capitol Building in Austin, Texas ,,  or, “worshipers of Molech”, as I like to call them, last week were chanting “Hail, Satan!” and “Jesus should have been Aborted.” Yesterday, they were chanting “F!@k the Church!”

Classy.

Meanwhile, in North “Cadillaccy“…

In protest, more than 2,000 people gathered at the state capitol on Monday night, the largest gathering since the regular Moral Monday rallies began. And 64 pink-clad women’s health activists expressed their opposition to the proposed abortion restrictions by engaging in an act of civil disobedience, refusing to leave the legislative chamber and ultimately getting arrested.

Janet Colm, the president of Planned Parenthood of Central North Carolina, was one of those activists. As she explains in an op-ed, she decided to engage in civil disobedience in order to send a message to the anti-choice state legislators who insist on trying to restrict reproductive rights at every turn. “I want these politicians to see that with every attack, they are creating a fierce and ever stronger opposition,” Colm explained. “We’re making it impossible for politicians to ignore us, no matter how hard they try.”

Now, let me try to wrap my feeble old Southern Cracker mind around this…these women are protesting for the right to kill an innocent HUMAN BEING in their own womb!

Of course, you won’t hear these “activists” call those innocent lives babies, human beings, a life, a soul, a gift from God, or anything remotely resembling something that they should feel remorse about killing.

Heck, Pro-Abortionists are opposed to the taking of sonograms of the woman’s womb, before she has a abortion. They’re afraid that the “seed-carrier” will realize that IS a HUMAN BEING inside her, and will decide not to kill that baby.

Whenever there is a situation like this, when Liberals will not call “a spade a spade”, my mind, unique space between my ears that it is, flashes back to this famous scene between the late great Rodney Dangerfield, and the late , great Sam Kinison, in the movie Back to School. Kinison is a history professor, and Dangerfield is the successful businessman father of an under-achieving freshman, who decides to go back to school, to be there for his son.

How come we didn’t cross the 38th parallel…and push those rice-eaters back to the Great Wall of China…and take it apart brick by brick…and nuke them back into the f!@#in’ stone age forever?

If Liberals, on both sides of the aisle, (because you cannot claim Conservatism, if you want to kill babies) would only perform a self-assessment, and come to the realization that the life inside a human mother’s womb, is in fact, a HUMAN BEING, and not “a bunch of cells,”, “a parasitic life form”, or “an inconvenience”, then abortion would go the way of the rotary telephone.

Unfortunately, though, when you have a president whose first act, upon obtaining the office, authorized money be sent to abortion clinics around the world, and who said, 

Look, I got two daughters — 9 years old and 6 years old. I am going to teach them first about values and morals, but if they make a mistake, I don’t want them punished with a baby. I don’t want them punished with an STD at age 16, so it doesn’t make sense to not give them information,

that probably is not going to happen anytime soon.

However, we can still pray for our nation’s unborn. And, keep fighting the good fight!

Reince Preibus: “We Need Comprehensive Immigration Reform.” Palin, for Conservative Base: “See ya later, Gator?”

palin-newsweekI have written a lot lately about the Senate’s Gang of 8, and the egregious Amnesty Bill, which the Senate passed last Thursday. As I have written, this bill, if it becomes law, will change America’s Political Landscape forever….and the GOP Establishment seem quite pleased about it, as is their nature as “Vichy Republicans”.

Last Friday, Former Alaska Governor and, now, Fox News Contributor, Sarah Palin wrote the following on her Facebook Page

Great job, GOP establishment. You’ve just abandoned the Reagan Democrats with this amnesty bill, and we needed them to “enlarge that tent” of which you so often speak. It’s depressing to consider that the House of Representatives is threatening to pass some version of this nonsensical bill in the coming weeks.

Once again, I’ll point out the obvious to you: it was the loss of working class voters in swing states that cost us the 2012 election, not the Hispanic vote. Legal immigrants respect the rule of law and can see how self-centered a politician must be to fill this amnesty bill with favors, earmarks, and crony capitalists’ pork, and call it good. You disrespect Hispanics with your assumption that they desire ignoring the rule of law.

Folks like me are barely hanging on to our enlistment papers in any political party – and it’s precisely because flip-flopping political actions like amnesty force us to ask how much more bull from both the elephants in the Republican Party and the jackasses in the Democrat Party we have to swallow before these political machines totally abandon the average commonsense hardworking American. Now we turn to watch the House. If they bless this new “bi-partisan” hyper-partisan devastating plan for amnesty, we’ll know that both private political parties have finally turned their backs on us. It will then be time to show our parties’ hierarchies what we think of being members of either one of these out-of-touch, arrogant, and dysfunctional political machines.

Also, last Friday, Reince Priebus, Chairman of the Republican National Committee, was interviewed by CNN on the subject of the Amnesty Bill, now, in the House’s hands.

Here is what he said,

We need comprehensive immigration reform. I don’t think we can continue to drift along with this mess of immigration laws that we have. And a mess that in many regards has been the results of our government not even enforcing the laws that are in place. There is plenty of blame to go around for why we are in this position, but I think it’s about time that we address it.

…it’s clear that there is pretty broad consensus in the party, in the Republican Party, that we need comprehensive immigration reform.

…My understanding is that the House is going to draft its own version of an immigration bill that they see as either a better fix for comprehensive immigration reform, or something that is reflective of the Republican majority of the House, and then potentially go to conference, and potentially have a conclusion.

…I know the leadership in the House is committed to putting something pretty comprehensive together that’s going to address the issue.

…One thing I think is pretty clear. We wouldn’t have been in this place without Republicans being at the table pushing for immigration reform. And I think this conversation would never be happening without Marco Rubio.

Although I officially began this Blog in April of 2010, I have been an observer of American Politics since I was in college, where I was the Radio News Director for the on-campus station, in the late 1970s, with a staff of 20 students, who received college credit for doing 5 minute newscasts.

Ever since President Ronald Reagan’s last day in office, the Republican Establishment has been intentionally distancing themselves from the very voter base who propelled Reagan to two terms as President.  The Silent Majority, is how Richard Nixon referred to us. We’ve also been called “The Sleeping Giant”.

We are American Conservatives, living in the Heartland of our country.

Allow me to give a general description of us for those of you up in the Northeastern Corridor and out on the Left Coast:

We are overwhelmingly Christian, unabashedly Patriotic, hard-working, loving, charitable, family oriented men and women, who still believe in the American Dream.

We want our children and grandchildren to “have it better than we had it”, a phrase which was the hope of our parents generation, as well.

We are farmers, plumbers, machinists, car salesmen, teachers, doctors, nurses,  lawyers, struggling entrepreneurs and successful businessmen. We are ministers, preachers, rabbis, and priests. We are young, old, White, Black, Asian, and Hispanic.

We love God, family, and country. We will give you the shirt off our backs. When disasters happen, we’re the first ones there, and the last ones to leave.

Since the presidency of Ronaldus Magnus, America’s Heartland Conservatives, like myself, have faithfully supported the Republican Party, receiving nothing in return, except the upturn of their self-proclaimed sophisticated, snotty noses, as time and time again, they force-fed milk toast Moderate Presidential Candidates down our throats, instead of take-charge, can-do Conservatives.

The Republican Establishment, who has evidently enjoyed the smell of what they have been shoveling on us all the years, are so convinced of their own superior intellects, they remind me of the late, great Ted Knight’s portrayal of Judge Smails, in the classic movie “Caddyshack”, starring the equally late, great Rodney Dangerfield, the great Bill Murray, and the now-washed-up, forgettable Chevy Chase.

Well, I have some news for these charter members of the DC Country Club, and their newest member, Marco “Judas” Rubio:

You are fooling no one. We know that is not rain that we are feeling on our legs.

Speaker Boehner, you and all the other Members of the GOP Elite Country Club had better consider this: 90% of those to whom you wish to grant Amnesty, will vote Democrat, no matter how many empty promises you make, and how much free stuff you give them. Also, even if they would, what good will 30,000 new voters do you, if you lose your entire Conservative Voter Base?

Republican Members of the House of Representatives, if you are tone-deaf enough and downright stupid enough to pass this Amnesty Bill, then, come 2014, I hope y’all have a trade to fall back on, because payback will be…well…you know.

From Flower Children to Beltway Boys: America’s Crisis of Leadership

1960sI remember the 1960s…vaguely. After all, I was just a kid, having been born in 1958. I remember Batman, Mr. Terrific, Beany and Cecil, The Red Skelton Show, The Ed Sullivan Show, The Jackie Gleason Show, The Lawrence Welk Show, Dragnet, and Adam-12.

I remember the Civil Rights Movement, George Wallace, the Vietnam War, Camelot, and shaking ex-President Lyndon B. Johnson’s hand, after a speech at his Texas Ranch. It seemed huge.

I remember the Beatles,the Monkees, the Rolling Stones, Woodstock, Haight Asbury, the Peace Movement, Love-ins, and Campus sit-ins. I remember Kent State.

I remember Mrs. Elliott, Mrs. Willette, Mrs. Holder, Mrs. Archer, Principal F.A Farino, and some of the things that happened to me at Snowden Elementary.

I also remember the day that it was announced over the school intercom that President Kennedy had been shot in Dallas. I remember writing in my Big Chief Tablet

President Kennedy is dead. Vice-President Johnson is now President.

I remember that fateful night in April of 1968, watching TV in our den in Midtown Memphis, TN, as the Civil Defense Warning popped up on the screen, and an authoritative voice said,

Would all National Guard members, please report to the Armory.

Shortly, after that, President Johnson interrupted programming, coming from the White House, and announced,

I come to you tonight with a heavy heart…

And, nothing was ever the same again.

In yesterday’s Blog, I posed the question,

What in the Sam Hill is going on in this country?

I then wrote about how screwed up our leadership is, and how disheartening it is to see this Shining City on the Hill being turned into a Third World Barrio, right in front of our very eyes.

What could be the cause? Have the Pod People from the Invasion of the Body Snatchers taken over America’s Leadership?

Actually, in a way…they have.

Today’s Senior leadership is comprised of that volatile generation from the 1960s. That generation in which there was seemingly, widespread rebellion against their faith, their families, and…their country.

For all their bragging about Free Love, dropping out, and tuning in…a lot of them were actually very selfish. (History is actually repeating itself with our younger generation of today, but that’s best left for another post.)

That is the generation that is presently in charge of our nation.

What’s bad is, our Junior Leadership is comprised of their children, Americans with names like Sunshine and River, whose raising was left to Dr. Spock, PBS, and MTV.

So, basically, we have a bunch of elected representatives whose life philosophy is

If it feels good, do it.

The Bible tells us that you will know someone by their fruits.

Let’s look at “the fruits” put forth by this bunch of leaders

1.  Horrible Financial Stewardship – We’re in hock to the Chinese so badly, they’re probably going to start adopting OUR babies. We have a President who is cutting essential services, like hot meals for our soldiers, while his mooch of a wife is joking about visiting her “Homeland” in Ireland. Now, I’ve been told by an Irishman that my heritage is “Black Irish”, but, that’s ridiculous. Congress hasn’t passed a budget in years now, but nobody seems to care. Hey, it’s only money. OUR money.

2. Attempts to take away Americans’ Constitutional Rights – This is actually very ironic, when you think about it. These “Flower Children”, who used to holler about their Constitutional Rights as they were being busted by the police, now could care less about them.  A little power is a dangerous thing. They’re “The Man” now.

3.  Debasing and Redefining of the American Family – Now, in this amoral utopia they are creating, Johnny has 2 Daddies, or 2 Mommas, or a Momma and another Momma who used to be their Daddy….or just a Momma…or just a Daddy…or, they’re being raised by Grandma and Grandpa. And, then, the “pundits” wonder why kids are joining Gangs, seeking “love and acceptance”.

4. Attempting to eliminate Christianity from Americans’ day-to-day lives – From complaining about prayer before high school football games to lawsuits about the Ten Commandments being in Courthouses, the miserable selfish little cretins, who seem content to serve the Darkness, are relentless in their quest to remove the public worship of the One who made us, from Americans’ daily lives. They want to pigeon-hole Christians and force us to worship Our Creator on Sunday Mornings, only, and only then, in government-approved services, where preachers will not be allowed to condemn homosexuality as a sin.

In America today, we are experiencing the Tyranny of the Minority. Average Americans, who love God, their families, and their country, still exist. They are trying desperately to try to make things better for their families. That is the reason that a recent study showed that Americans are leaving the Liberal stronghold of the Northeast and the Left Coast, seeking like minds in America’s Heartland.

There are still plenty of Americans who believe in Traditional American Values. They go to work, they attend church, and they spend time with their families. Despite the enormous pressure put upon them by an increasingly selfish, amoral culture, an anti-American President, and his enablers and minions in Congress and the Main Stream Media, they still “bitterly cling” to their Bibles and guns, remembering those who have gone before, and the sacrifices at home and abroad they made to keep them free.

Can you feel it? There is a stirring in the heart of this nation. The Sleeping Giant is wide awake. Americans have had enough.

The great American Frontiersman, Congressman, and Freedom Fighter, Davy Crockett, once said,

Be sure you are right. Then, go ahead.

We are right, Americans. It’s time to go ahead.

Power, Perks, and Privilege: Washington Vs. the U.S.A.

We’ve got “leaders”…and I use the world loosely…that seemingly could not care less what the American Citizens who elected them want to happen in our nation.

For example, we have a President of the United States, who won’t allow us inside OUR White House, which we bought and paid for. Meanwhile, he, his crass bigot of a wife, and their kids, as I reported yesterday, are about to go on a trip to Africa, which will cost us, the American Taxpayers, up to 100,000,000 dollars.

Hey, Scooter…while you’re over there…visiting the land of your bir…err…ancestors…say hello to your brother for us. You know…the one who lives in a hut.

Additionally, he and members of Congress…on both sides of the aisle…want to jump in the middle of a Civil War in Syria…on the side of the “noble” rebels.  Some nobility. Those “rebels” are supported by, and support in return, the bloody Muslim Terrorist Organization known as al-Qaeda. Are all of you “Beltway Boys (and girls)” blooming idiots?

There are no “Good Guys” in this scufflin’ match. Why don’t we just sit this one out and let “the last man standing” win?

I thought that we were supposed to have a system of checks and balances in this country.  Between Obama signing Executive Orders and ruling like an emperor on his throne and the spineless Republican Leadership basically giving him carte blanche to do whatever the heck he wants, average citizens, like me, are experiencing a feeling of moral outrage and a feeling of helplessness.

We have elected Senators and Representatives who have seemingly forgotten who pays their salaries and who put them in office.

Look at what is facing us, right now.

These Congresscritters seem to be dead set on betraying the very country that they are supposed to be serving. They want to reward the illegal behavior of millions of “undocumented immigrants’, who sneaked into our sovereign nation, to have the monetary and Social advantages of being an American, without any of the responsibilities.

While claiming an altruistic motive behind their  drive for Amnesty, these Congresscitters’ actual motivation is more self-serving than anything else. They want to create more voters for their political party.

And, that is where the Democrats are playing Sen. Marco Rubio, and the rest of his new-found friends in the GOP Elite for fools.

If the Moderate Republicans believe that any of these illegal aliens are going to vote for them, when they can vote for the Party of Baracky Claus, instead…they’re dumber than Jim Carrey’s Anti-gun Video.

While I’m on a rant…Sen. Rubio is another subject which I would like to address. Did he fall victim to a Space Pod, or what? I remember this guy from the Mid-terms, speaking out about our Constitutional Rights, in front of Tea Party Rallies, with great Conservatives like Sarah Palin and Lt. Col. Allen West.

Now, ol’ Marco spends his days at the G.O.P. Elite Country Club, sipping Apple Martinis with Juan McAmnesty and his pet dog, “Toodie” Graham.

Absolute Power corrupts Absolutely.

Our Founding Fathers were afraid of that. They viewed national service, as just that. A farmer or a merchant would be elected to the Senate or the House, he would spend his term, in the service of his country, and then he would rejoin his follow American Citizens, and allow fresh ideas to be heard.

Not now. Now, Congresscritters make a career out of it, often dying in office, like Frank Lautenberg, who was 89.

Why? Is the reason that they stay past their usefulness in office, because they truly wish to serve their constituencies? I don’t think so.

I believe it’s a combination of Power, Perks, and Privilege.

Why should they leave…if we are dumb enough to keep electing them?

What can average Americans, like you and I, do about this?

I mean, it’s become dang near impossible to tell the Republicans from the Democrats. In fact, the Moderate Republican Leadership acts as if they want to be Democrats, bending over so far in “compromise” with the opposition party, that they can see their own hindquarters.

It is almost as if we have become two countries…the tiny area of blue, which we saw in electoral maps, concentrated around the Northeast and the coasts, and the red areas, which basically comprise 90% of America, including the area referred to as “The Heartland”.

Out here in “The Heartland”, the majority of Americans still “bitterly cling” to our Bibles and guns…and try hard to live up to and uphold the Traditional American Values taught to us by our parents and grandparents, in spite of being bombarded daily by an out-of-touch leadership in Washington and their sycophants in the Main Stream Media.

The strength of America lies in its people…not an ever-expanding, nanny state, all-powerful Federal Government.

At the close of the Constitutional Convention of 1787, Dr. Benjamin Franklin, 81 years old, was approached by a lady, as he left Independence Hall on the final day of deliberation.

The lady asked him,

Well, Doctor…What have we got? A Republic or a Monarchy?

Dr. Franklin answered,

A Republic, madam. If, you can keep it.

Today, almost 235 years later, we still have a Republic. If, we can keep it.

Scandalpalooza: The End of the New Camelot

obamakingI mean, you got the first mainstream African-American who is articulate and bright and clean and a nice-looking guy. I mean, that’s a storybook, man.

Joe Biden, on January 31, 2007, describing fellow candidate Barack Obama. The remark was made the same day Biden filed the official paperwork to launch his presidential campaign. Biden later apologized and said the remark was taken out of context.

This was the moment when the rise of the oceans began to slow, and our planet began to heal.

…Obama meets the Kennedy standard not only in substance; he also has its style and public appeal.

In 1961, Time magazine named JFK man of the year, after a tough election battle with GOP candidate Richard Nixon.

The article read: “The closeness of his victory did not disturb him; he took over the office with a youth-can-do-anything sort of self-confidence. He learned better; but learn he did. And in so doing,” the article says, he made 1961 “the most endlessly interesting and exciting presidential year within recent memory.”

Ted Sorensen, a former special counsel and adviser to President Kennedy, says there’s no question about the similarities between the two.

“Both of them were compassionate and cared about the people at the bottom of the economic pyramid. … Both Kennedy and Obama, by spending time abroad during their youth … gave both of them a very good perspective of Americans’ role in the world. … Both of them were innovators.”

And it’s with those characteristics that Sorensen says Obama has lined himself up with the ideals of the Kennedy clan and has become a “natural fit.”

Both Obama and Kennedy “reached out to young people; tried to get them involved in politics and government after a period of cynical indifference on the part of young people,” Sorensen said. “Both Kennedy and Obama … were idealists … and paid less attention to the old politics and won by paying attention to the new politics.”

Thus began the fable of America’s First Black President (second, if you count Bill Clinton). A man predetermined by his handlers, the Democratic Power Brokers, the Liberal unwashed, and the Main Stream Media to be infallible and untouchable…the new messiah.

What was proclaimed to be the story of King Arthur and the Round Table wound up being Hansel and Gretel, with average Americans being the children being cooked by the wicked witch (insert your own Pelosi joke here).

With the aid of his previously-mentioned Amen Corner,  and a Democratic Majority in both houses of Congress, he succeeded in forcing the Golden Goose to lay a whopper of an egg…a multi-trillion dollar law socializing, and destroying at the same time, the greatest Healthcare System on the face of the Earth.

(I have my ice floe picked out. Do you?)

Advertised before his election to be the new Great Communicator, and blasphemously compared to Ronald Wilson Reagan, he soon proved to be lost without TOTUS (the Teleprompter of the United States), even carrying it with him to speak to schoolchildren.

During his First Term, especially after the stunning rebuke by the American people in the Midterm Elections of 2010, Obama soon proved to be a divisive, perpetually campaigning president, taking up the mantle of class warfare, by blaming America’s wealthy (you know them, the folks who hire us.) for his horrible economic policies.

His Foreign Policy wasn’t any better. Obama embraced our enemies and alienated our friends. Then, this new Nero watched while the Middle East burned in a Radical Muslim Ode to Spring.

Shortly before the election, Obama’s horrible Foreign Policy led to the deaths of 4 brave Americans, including  an Ambassador, one murderous night at the U.S. Embassy Compound in Benghazi, Libya.

By obfuscation, subterfuge and downright lying, Obama and his Administration have hidden the truth about that night until this day.

Obama succeeded in getting re-elected, due to a poor campaign strategy by the Republicans, and “voting irregularities” and bribery, orchestrated by Baracky Clause and his loyal Democratic Elves.

Once Obama was re-inaugurated, he doubled down on his divisive brand of class warfare-Marxist-Chicago Politics, further dividing the nation he was supposed to be serving.

Now, less than 5 months into his Second Term, not only has Obama and his Administration’s malfeasance concerning Benghazigate become a scandal, but, news that Attorney General Eric Holder was wiretapping the Associated Press, Fox News, and who Know who else, has come to light.

But, wait…there’s more!

Additionally, the Internal Revenue Service, under President Barack Hussein Obama, harrassed, probed, and generally messed with hundreds of Conservative Groups seeking Nonprofit Status.

In response to all of this, Obama announced that there was going to be a thorough investigation…headed by Attorney General Eric Holder.

(Oh, look…squirrel!)

Holder himself is going to launch a “charm offensive”.

(A lot of us find his charm offensive.)

Holder also, on behalf of the most transparent Administration evah, summoned the Main Stream Media to a Closed Doors Meeting, so that he could “clean the air”.

(A Transparent Closed Door Meeting…is that like a Jumbo Shrimp?)

To summarize…what began as a shining New Camelot…now consists of a bunch of tarnished empty suits of armor and an overbearing stench from the stables.

Al-Qaeda Supports McCain in 2008, Syrian Rebels Pledge Loyalty to al-Qaeda in April, McCain Visits Syrian Rebels on Memorial Day.

Isn’t Progressivism wonderful?

According to the Daily Beast, which first reported the visit, McCain met with Gen. Salem Idris, the leader of the Supreme Military Council of the Free Syrian Army, and spent a few hours in the country after entering through Turkey.

McCain, a leading critic of the Obama administration’s policy towards Syria, has been calling for the U.S. to provide lethal aid to opposition forces seeking the ouster of Syrian President Bashar al-Assad.

The administration has resisted calls from lawmakers to arm the rebels over fears those weapons could fall into the hands of Islamist or anti-U.S. elements. Many Syrian rebel groups have been linked to al Qaeda and other terrorist groups.

Last week, however, the Senate Foreign Relations Committee approved a bill to arm the Syrian opposition, a bipartisan rebuke to the White House.

Supporters of the measure say it is necessary to help end a conflict which has already claimed 80,000 lives, according to some estimates.

The White House, though, has continued to focus on a diplomatic solution to ease Assad from power.

There is just one problem with arming these “Freedom Fighters”. It’s the same “problem” that we faced in Libya.

BBC.co.uk reported the following on April 10th…

The leader of the al-Nusra Front, a jihadist group fighting in Syria, has pledged allegiance to the leader of al-Qaeda, Ayman al-Zawahiri.

Abu Mohammed al-Jawlani said the group’s behaviour in Syria would not change as a result.

Al-Nusra claims to be have carried out many suicide bombings and guerrilla attacks against state targets.

On Tuesday, al-Qaeda in Iraq announced a merger with al-Nusra, but Mr Jawlani said he had not been consulted on this.

Al-Nusra has been designated as a terrorist organisation by the US.

Debates among Western leaders over whether to arm Syria’s rebels have often raised the concern of weapons ending up in the hands of groups such as al-Nusra.

“The sons of al-Nusra Front pledge allegiance to Sheikh Ayman al-Zawahiri,” Mr Jawlani said in a recording released on Wednesday.

But Mr Jawlani said al-Nusra had not been consulted on the merger with al-Qaeda in Iraq and insisted his group would not change its stance in Syria.

The al-Nusra statement assured Syrians that the “good behaviour” they had experienced from the front on the ground would continue unchanged, the BBC’s Jim Muir reports from neighbouring Lebanon.

Mr Jawlani said that the oath of allegiance to Zawahiri “will not change anything in its policies”, our correspondent adds.

But, wait…there’s more.  It turns out, that, per the BBC, that Juan McAmnesty, by supporting the al-Qaeda-sponsored Syrian Rebels…was just returning the favor:

Supporters of al-Qaeda have said they would prefer Republican candidate John McCain to win the US election because he is more likely to continue the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan.

In a message broadcast on the password-protected al-Hesbah site, the group said they would also welcome a pre-election terror attack on the US because that would make a McCain win more likely.

In an endorsement that will not be welcomed by Mr McCain’s flagging campaign, the group said that if al-Qaeda wants to exhaust the US, militarily and economically, the “impetuous” Republican presidential candidate is the better choice.

“This requires presence of an impetuous American leader such as McCain, who pledged to continue the war till the last American soldier,” the message said.

“Then, al-Qaeda will have to support McCain in the coming elections so that he continues the failing march of his predecessor, Bush.”

“If al-Qaeda carries out a big operation against American interests,” it said, “this act will be support of McCain because it will push the Americans deliberately to vote for McCain so that he takes revenge for them against al-Qaeda. Al-Qaeda then will succeed in exhausting America till its last year in it.”

Mark Salter, a senior McCain adviser, had no immediate comment.

As an official “Wacko Bird”, i.e., Conservative, I would like to say that Progressive Republicans, like John McCain, and his pet dog, Lindsey Graham, are one of the reasons that Barack Hussein Obama (mm mmm mmmm) is the President of these United States.

Not only are Progressive Republicans, like “The Sunshine Boys”, and Obama’s golfing buddy, Cryin’ John Boehner, weak and ineffectual, if they had any tes…err…intestinal fortitude whatsoever, that would be jumping on America’s scandal-ridden Administration with both feet. Instead, they’re acting like the wussified Country Club Elite that they are…whether they are reaching across the aisle to arm these Syrian [Muslim] Rebels or trying to pass “Immigration Reform”, which will do nothing but add new Democratic Voters to the rolls.

It’s getting more and more difficult to tell the Republican Leadership from the Democratic Leadership.

Thank the Lord for Conservative Americans like Ted Cruz and Sarah Palin.

Speaking at this year’s Hillsdale College Graduation Commencement, Sen. Cruz said,

…more and more government is not the answer. To say otherwise is to ignore the fact that all major European nations have higher levels of public spending than the United States does, and that all of them are poorer. Human beings are not happiest when they’re taken care of by the state. Areas under the yoke of dependency on government are among the least joyish parts of our society. The story of Julia is not an attractive utopia. We all flourish instead when afforded opportunity, the ability to work and create and accomplish. Economic growth and opportunity is the answer that works.

Sarah Palin, posted on her Facebook Page yesterday, that…

Our military men and women risk their lives to uphold our rights. They deserve better than to have their sacrifice trampled on by people who pretend to have heard nothing, seen nothing, and therefore can say nothing about abusing their power over We the People. Americans deserve better. Certainly our military veterans’ honor deserves better. (By the way, pleading the Fifth while showing no regard for the First is as bold an exercise in adding insult to injury as I have ever seen.)

It is time to declare, “Enough is enough.” It’s time to halt the fundamental transformation of the country our soldiers have given all to preserve.

Straight talk, from Conservative American Leaders like these, is what America needs to hear, not rhetoric about “sharing the wealth” and “social justice”. And, we especially do not need for Vichy Republicans like Juan McAmnesty to continue sucking up to our enemies, foreign and domestic.

The resident of 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue in Washington, DC is doing more than enough of that, all by himself.

Obama/Nixon: Presidential Scandal Deja Vu

ObamaNixonDid you ever have the feeling you were being played?

All of us should have that uneasy feeling after President Obama’s Address to the Nation last night, when he announced that Steve Miller, acting Commissioner of the IRS, was resigning over the burgeoning scandal,  which saw the Internal Revenue Service being used as a Campaign Tool for the president’s re-election, by keeping Conservative Groups out of the fight, by making it difficult for them to obtain tax-exempt status.

Forgive me if I don’t leap for joy.

Two points strike me immediately:

1.  Miller was not Commissioner when the scandal happened.

3. Miller’s tenure as acting Commissioner was up in June, anyway.

Big Whoop.

Besides seeking Miller’s resignation, Obama said his administration would put in place new safeguards to prevent a recurrence of the IRS actions and said he insisted the IRS implement the inspector general’s recommendations immediately. The IRS had agreed to seven of nine recommendations contained in the report.

Obama said the improper behavior at the IRS was especially egregious “given the power that it has and the reach that it has into all of our lives.”

The report lays much of the blame on IRS supervisors in Washington who oversaw a group of specialists in Cincinnati responsible for screening applications for tax exempt status. It does not indicate that Washington initiated the targeting of conservative groups, but it does say a top supervisor in Washington did not adequately supervise agents in the field even after she learned the agents were acting improperly.

The Justice Department is also investigating the IRS targeting, as are three congressional committees.

All of The Lightbringer’s machinations remind me of another Presidential Address to the Nation, given the night of April 30, 1973…

Good evening:

I want to talk to you tonight from my heart on a subject of deep concern to every American.

In recent months, members of my Administration and officials of the Committee for the Re-Election of the President— including some of my closest friends and most trusted aides—have been charged with involvement in what has come to he known as the Watergate affair. These include charges of illegal activity during and preceding the 1972 Presidential election and charges that responsible officials participated in efforts to cover up that illegal activity.

The inevitable result of these charges has been to raise serious questions about the integrity of the White House itself. Tonight I wish to address those questions.

Last June 17, while I was in Florida trying to get a few days rest after my visit to Moscow, I first learned from news reports of the Watergate break-in. I was appalled at this senseless, illegal action, and I was shocked to learn that employees of the Re-Election Committee were apparently among those guilty. I immediately ordered an investigation by appropriate Government authorities. On September 15, as you will recall, indictments were brought against seven defendants in the case.

As the investigations went forward, I repeatedly asked those conducting the investigation whether there was any reason to believe that members of my Administration were in any way involved. I received repeated assurances that there were not. Because of these continuing reassurances, because I believed the reports I was getting, because I had faith in the persons from whom I was getting them, I discounted the stories in the press that appeared to implicate members of my Administration or other officials of the campaign committee.

Until March of this year, I remained convinced that the denials were true and that the charges of involvement by members of the White House Staff were false. The comments I made during this period, and the comments made by my Press Secretary in my behalf, were based on the information provided to us at the time we made those comments. However, new information then came to me which persuaded me that there was a real possibility that some of these charges were true, and suggesting further that there had been an effort to conceal the facts both from the public, from you, and from me.

As a result, on March 21, I personally assumed the responsibility for coordinating intensive new inquiries into the matter, and I personally ordered those conducting the investigations to get all the facts and to report them directly to me, right here in this office.

I again ordered that all persons in the Government or at the Re-Election Committee should cooperate fully with the FBI, the prosecutors, and the grand jury. I also ordered that anyone who refused to cooperate in telling the truth would be asked to resign from Government service. And, with ground rules adopted that would preserve the basic constitutional separation of powers between the Congress and the Presidency, I directed that members of the White House Staff should appear and testify voluntarily under oath before the Senate committee which was investigating Watergate.

I was determined that we should get to the bottom of the matter, and that the truth should be fully brought out—no matter who was involved.

Even though Richard Milhous Nixon excelled at Foreign Policy, opening new areas of trade with China and other countries, he will always be remembered for the political chicanery known as Watergate.

And, now, even though Barack Hussein Obama, will still go down in history as America’s first Black President (second, if you count Bubba Clinton), that honor will be eclipsed. 

Instead, he will be known as the president who brought Chicago Politics to the White House.

So, as all these scandals continue to develop and surround The One who was supposed to bring America “Hope and Change”, consider the following…
