Palin Warns GOP Establishment: “Keep Gloating…No Voting”

palin-newsweekOnce the ballots were counted after Tuesday’s State Primaries around the country, it was discovered that “Republican Establishment” Candidates had scored some victories over local “TEA Party” Candidates. Immediately, the Vichy Republicans and their “Cheerleaders” began to gloat about their victories.

As Tony Lee of Breitbart.com reported…

The Republican establishment gloated after three underfunded Tea Party challengers failed to knock off incumbent Republicans in primaries on Tuesday while another establishment-backed candidate secured the GOP nomination for Senate in North Carolina.

“Next up is that fraud @MattBevin! #GOP,” tweeted Jahan Wilcox, a former aide to Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) who is now the RNC’s director of rapid response. (He later deleted it and said his thoughts were his “personal opinions.”)

Rep. Renee Ellmers (R-NC) defeated her primary challenger Frank Roche despite a series of high-profile outbursts in support of amnesty. Ellmers was heavily backed by Facebook co-founder Mark Zuckerberg’s FWD.us group.

“Folks should be talking more about Ellmers,” tweeted Becky Tallent, a senior aide to Speaker John Boehner who formerly served as one of Sen. John McCain’s top amnesty lieutenants.

Boehner (R-OH) unsurprisingly coasted to victory against challenger J.D Winteregg. In response, Ana Navarro, the Jeb Bush ally, promptly tweeted,”Congratulations to @johnboehner on decisive primary win. Rumors of his demise were greatly exagerated….who’s crying now?”

Ohio freshman Rep. David Joyce defeated Matt Lynch, who was endorsed by FreedomWorks and Ron Paul, which prompted Brian Walsh, the former NRSC director of communications who still advises the group, to tweet, “BOOM.”
In the night’s main event, Tillis avoided what would have been a costly runoff to win the GOP nomination for U.S. Senate by securing more than 40% of the vote. He will take on vulnerable incumbent Sen. Kay Hagan (D-NC) in the fall. Tillis defeated Greg Brannon — who was backed by FreedomWorks, Rand Paul, the Senate Conservatives Fund, and nearly every local Tea Party group — and Mark Harris — who received the support of former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee.

Meanwhile, Jeb Bush, Mitt Romney, the Chamber of Commerce, and American Crossroads backed Tillis for the win.
NRSC Chairman Sen. Jerry Moran (R-KS) congratulated Tillis and said he is “a strong contrast with Kay Hagan who, beyond ObamaCare and being a rubber stamp for Barack Obama, has little to show for her time in Washington.”

“Kay Hagan promised to be an independent voice for North Carolina, but instead has voted with President Obama an astounding 96 percent of the time,” Moran said. “It’s far from the only promise that Kay Hagan broke to voters in North Carolina. By November, this race will be a clear contrast between an effective candidate versus an ineffective Senator.”

Rand Paul immediately congratulated Tillis on his Facebook page and said he looks “forward to working with him in the Senate.”

“I congratulate my friend Greg Brannon on a well fought race and encourage all the candidates to unite for victory in November,” Paul said, in a statement with a notably conciliatory tone.

TEA Party Favorite, the strong Reagan Conservative, whom I call the “Arctic Fox”, Former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin, wrote the following on her Facebook Page…

C’mon now, guys. This gloating among establishment Republicans calls for the same reprimand we parents offer 12-year-olds who scuffle on the playground. I often remind my young daughter, especially, after her ball games, of the importance of being considerate and gracious in both victory and defeat.

Congratulations to candidates in yesterday’s small pool of state primary elections who will now move on to their respective general elections. Now, knock off the gloating. The GOP establishment must ratchet any kind of arrogance way down and get in touch with independent, constitutional conservatives who build the base of the party. They do the thankless work to put boots on the ground for your campaigns, and they show up to vote if you give us good reason to vote. Anything less and we will not secure victory for America this fall.

Surely, politicians and high paid D.C. consultants, you realize we all need to work together after these valuable competitive primaries that offer good debate and clear awareness of candidates’ positions, right? It’s extremely off-putting to witness post-primary smugness. Well-funded campaigns that rub a victory in the face of primary challengers’ supporters sure don’t endear the winning campaign to voters who are beyond tired of the selfish political games that have gotten the country into the mess we’re in. Your gloating causes apathy, if not downright disgust, among concerned citizens who want to remind you: “It’s not about you.”

You’re perpetuating an “us versus them” mentality with this gloating. That does our cause of defending our republic and all our freedoms and opportunities no good. Are we not on the same side, standing firm on all platform planks that empower the people instead of growing government? The people you’re mocking comprise the base of your own party, remember? To paraphrase the great Ronald Reagan: Rein it in and humbly learn how much we can accomplish together for America when we don’t care who gets the credit.

Bottom line: Politicos, more friends are needed leading up to the general election. Poking potential friends in the eye doesn’t earn the allies needed to win.

Piper and her schoolgirl friends would tell you as much.

Beltway politicians and Pundits live in a bubble.  They have disassociated themselves from the common people.  The two times the Beltway Elite Republicans actually seem to pay attention to the wishes of Americans in the Heartland is when we melt the Congressional Phone Lines down and threaten their well-paying jobs…and, come Election Time.

That’s why the rise of the Tea Party movement and America’s return to Conservatism, which resulted in the political massacre known as the Midterm Elections, was such a surprise to them.  In their self-imposed isolation, they actually thought that the America people wanted them to continue their deal-making, soul-selling, business-as-usual politics.

Now, Republicans are scrambling, trying to figure out how to appease an angry electorate and keep their cushy jobs, in the face of their mishandling of the catastrophe known as Obamacare and their support in the push for Amnesty for Illegal Aliens.

The US Chamber of Commerce is one of the key players in the Vichy Republicans’ push for Amnesty.

Hence, the Crony Capitalist-funded victorious state campaigns of the before-mentioned Republican Acolytes.

Hey…somebody’s got to “pick de cotton”.

Pundits are trying to give the GOP Establishment all the cover they can, while offering criticism in columns specifically written as to not cost the pundit their place on the Broadcast television networks’ Sunday morning shows or to cause them to be left off the invitation list for all the cool Beltway cocktail parties, and noew, specifically designed to discourage and disassemble the TEA Party Movement.

In summation, as Former Governor Palin pointed out, there is still an us and them mentality in the Beltway, among the resurgent Republican Party.

Even with these Primary Victories, if the Republicans don’t legislate as Conservatives, and ignore the message sent to them by American voters on November 2nd, 2010, it won’t matter if the Pundits praise them or criticize them, they will be out of a job.

After all, there is much more to America than just the Beltway.  And there are a lot more American voters than there are ” Severely Conservative” Politicians and Pundits.

What is Happening to the Soul of Our Nation?

WashingtonPrayingI am fed up with “Social Liberals”, whether they consider themselves “Fiscal Conservatives”, “l”ibertarians or full-blown Liberals, telling me that their irresponsibility is actually nobility. And, that their amorality is actually “True Conservatism”.

It is not just their callousness as to the responsibility that they have to those around them that bothers me. It is their obvious oblivious nature, and lack of regret, as to the consequences of their actions.

And, I am very afraid that this irresponsible callousness, with the help of those who would benefit from it, is spreading across our nation at a rapid rate.

While reading The Drudge Report yesterday afternoon, I almost cried and threw up, all the same time.

I was reading the following two reports, which are perfect examples of what I was just relating to you.

The first report is from lifesitenews.com:

The British Columbia Health Ministry has admitted that the remains of babies destroyed by abortion in B.C. facilities are ending up in a waste-to-power facility in the United States, providing electricity for residents of Oregon.

The province’s Health Ministry said in an email to the B.C. Catholic that “biomedical waste” shipped to the U.S. to be incinerated includes “human tissue, such as surgically removed cancerous tissue, amputated limbs, and fetal tissue.”

“The ministry understands that some is transferred to Oregon. There it is incinerated in a waste-to-energy plant,” the email stated.

The ministry said that contractors handling the province’s “biomedical waste” follow “health and safety protocols, as well as federal, provincial, and local regulations.”

Kristan Mitchell, executive director of the Oregon Refuse and Recycling Association, told the B.C. Catholic that the “biomedical waste” likely ends up at the Covanta Marion waste-to-energy facility in Oregon since it is the only facility that uses waste to power the grid. The facility confirmed that it still receives and incinerates B.C. medical waste.

The power facility, located in Brookes just off the I-5, burns waste in two massive boilers at a temperature of about 2,000 degrees Fahrenheit. The heat transfers into water tubes, which creates steam to drive turbines. The turbines generate electricity.

A 2007 article about the Marion waste-to-energy facility that appeared in the Willamette Live — ironically titled “Burn, Baby, Burn” — stated that at the time the incinerator burned about 800 tons (1,764,000 pounds) of medical waste per year.

“Medical waste is brought to the facility in sealed boxes and is carried to the furnace on a conveyor belt which layers it with the rest of the solid waste being processed,” the article states.

Locals at the time protested the “importation and burning of medical waste,” expressing concern about breathing “toxic emissions.”

The news comes one month after the remains of more than 15,000 aborted babies were found to have been incinerated, along with other “medical waste,” to heat and generate power for British hospitals.

The second report comes from abcnews.go.com:

Two Colorado fourth graders were busted for selling marijuana at their elementary school, prompting officials today to urge adults to keep their weed locked away from kids.

School officials said a 10-year-old fourth grade boy brought a small quantity of leafy marijuana to Monfort Elementary School in Greeley, Colorado, on Monday.

“He sold it to three other fourth graders on the school playground, which resulted in a profit to the young man of $11,” John Gates, director of safety and security for the Greeley-Evans School District, told ABC News.

The next day, Gates said one of the three young buyers brought a marijuana edible to school and gave it to the boy who sold the pot on Monday. That boy took a bite, but did not suffer any ill effects, Gates said.

Both boys apparently got the weed from relatives, according to Gates.

“Both of these kids took the marijuana without the consent of their grandparents,” said Gates.

Gates said the four students involved will be suspended for a “significant” number of days, but declined to say exactly how long the punishment would be. Initially police were called, but officials have determined the incident will not he handled as a criminal matter, he said.

“We hope to send a good message here without ruining anybody’s lives. The message we really want to get out here to the adults is, ‘for crying out loud, secure it,’” Gates said.

Adults 21 and older have been able to buy recreational marijuana legally in Colorado since Jan. 1.

In a letter sent home to parents, Monfort Elementary School Principal Jennifer Sheldon said no student was injured.

“We know that many adults have greater access to marijuana since the change in the drug’s legal status in Colorado,” Sheldon wrote. “We urge all parents, grandparents and anyone who cares for children to treat marijuana as you would prescription drugs, alcohol or even firearms. This drug is potentially lethal to children, and should always be kept under lock and key, away from young people.”

The side effects of edible marijuana – which can be far more potent than smoking a joint – have been raising new concerns after two recent deaths in Colorado. In one, a 19-year old college student died when he jumped off a hotel balcony after eating a marijuana-laced cookie. In the second, Richard Kirk, 47, was charged with shooting and killing his wife while she called 9-1-1, telling police her husband had consumed pot-infused candy.

What is happening to the soul of our nation?

Are the Liberal Pundits we see appearing on the Main Stream Media and the “push” polls they are presenting, correct?

Have the majority of Americans become so insensitive and so self- centered, that social issues like these, which are tearing at the very fabric of our society, really do not matter to them?

“Issues” like using the bodies of dead babies for heating fuel?

Has our nation become as uncaring as those “good” Germans, who watched as families of European Jews were loaded on the boxcars bound for the Concentration Camps?

Has Americans’ quest for personal gratification, i.e., the so-called “right” to smoke “harmless” marijuana, made them impervious to the fact that these were 4th graders, selling their parents’ dope to their classmates?

Forbid it, Almighty God.

This nation was founded by Christian men who came here to be able to practice their faith as they chose.

However, they knew that with their new freedom came responsibility.

A responsibility to each other.

That is why they pledged their lives, their fortunes, and their Sacred Honor to one another and the Cause of Liberty.

Our American Freedom, which we now enjoy, was given to us by the Grace of God and by acts of courage by selfless men.

Our nation has never been a selfish one. Our people have never been self-centered.

And, those who believe that selfishness and irresponsibility are what America is all about, haven’t got a clue.

From a Reagan Conservative to the “Fiscal Conservative” Millenials: “It Just Doesn’t Matter”

Bill Murray Meatballs SpeechThere is a lot of buzz going on in political circles these days about the fact that the young people, known as Millenials, are disenchanted with the Republicans Party, as is.

Welll, duhhhh. Who isn’t?

This 55 year old Christian American Conservative is fed up with them, too.

The New York Times reported the following on March 10, 2014:

While much attention has been devoted to the split between the establishment and the Tea Party, the growing divide along generational lines among Republicans could cause a significant a rift. Younger conservatives are more firmly staking out a libertarian orientation on social issues in a way that will shape the 2016 presidential primary as candidates seek to appeal to activists who are in the party because of social issues and to younger voters who see some aspects of cultural conservatism as intolerant.

That young people, regardless of party, prefer a live-and-let-live approach on social issues is nothing new. In 2012, President Obama defeated Mitt Romney by 23 points among 18- to 29-year-olds in part because of the president’s more liberal cultural views. But what is increasingly alarming to some cultural conservatives is that it is not just young Democrats who share those views — and that this youthful libertarianism is not fading when the Republicans of tomorrow graduate from college.

In a recent New York Times/CBS News poll, 56 percent of Republicans under age 45 indicated support for same-sex marriage rights, compared with just 29 percent among older Republicans. That split was on display at CPAC, an annual conclave of some of the party’s most conservative activists. The split did not take place among the high-profile presidential candidates, who largely avoided divisive social issues or mentioned them only to praise their party’s big-tent tolerance, but the conversation was easy to find elsewhere.

“This is the civil rights issue of the 21st century,” Alexander McCobin, 27, the head of a libertarian student group, said about same-sex marriage during a panel titled “Can Libertarians and Social Conservatives Ever Get Along?” Mr. McCobin’s statement elicited both applause and a smattering of groans.

“I think it was very much a generational difference, too,” he said later, adding a warning to Republicans: “They need to start embracing libertarian issues or it’s going to start really hurting them in elections.”

He said it was time for social conservatives to recognize a shifting society. “People can be socially conservative in their private activities without trying to impose their views on other people,” said Mr. McCobin, who leads Students for Liberty.

If I told you what I really thought of these representatives of “the young and dumb”, I might be in danger of losing my witness on this Holy Weekend.

These clowns, in my estimation, are no different than a bunch of Liberal Democrats.

They say that we Christian Conservatives here in the Heartland need to keep our faith to ourselves and put in in a box to take out on Sunday mornings.

They even have the nerve to attempt to identify themselves as “Conservatives”.

In  reality, these kids are Liberals or, at least libertarians with a small “l”.

Liberals know how to count money, too.

To you Millennials, who want me and my brothers and sisters, here in the Heartland, to sit down and shut up, while you and the rest of the RINOs, turn the GOP into a Pale Pastel Version of the Grand Old Party, I have a little allegorical story to share with your young minds full of mush…

Have you ever seen, or heard of, the classic speech from the great Bill Murray’s Breakout Film, Meatballs?

Murray played Tripper, the Senior Counselor at a Summer Camp in the North Woods. They are an average summer camp, whose campers are average middle class kids. Every year, they participate in an “Olympiad” with Camp Northstar, where all the rich kids and athletes go.

This year, so far, they’re losing, as usual. Surrounded by dejected and downtrodden kids and counselors whom he cares about, Tripper, in an inspirational…and maniacal moment, delivers the following motivational speech…which is still remembered to this day.

Morty (Camp Owner): Hey, gang, come on! Look it, just `cause we’re losing doesn’t mean it’s all over.

Phil (Counselor): Cut the crap, Morty. I mean, the Mohawks have beaten us the last twelve years, they’re gonna beat us again.

Tripper: That’s just the attitude we don’t need. Sure, Mohawk has beaten us twelve years in a row. Sure, they’re terrific athletes. They’ve got the best equipment that money can buy. Hell, every team they’re sending over here has their own personal masseuse, not masseur, masseuse. But it doesn’t matter. Do you know that every Mohawk competitor has an electrocardiogram, blood and urine tests every 48 hours to see if there’s any change in his physical condition? Do you know that they use the most sophisticated training methods from the Soviet Union, East and West Germany, and the newest Olympic power Trinidad-Tobago? But it doesn’t matter. It just doesn’t matter. IT JUST DOESN’T MATTER. I tell you, IT JUST DOESN’T MATTER! IT JUST DOESN’T MATTER! IT JUST DOESN’T MATTER!

The group: IT JUST DOESN’T MATTER! IT JUST DOESN’T MATTER…

Tripper: And even, and even if we win, if we win, HAH! Even if we win! Even if we play so far over our heads that our noses bleed for a week to ten days. Even if God in Heaven above comes down and points his hand at our side of the field. Even if every man, woman and child held hands together and prayed for us to win, it just wouldn’t matter, because all the really good looking girls would still go out with the guys from Mohawk cause they’ve got all the money! It just doesn’t matter if we win or we lose. IT JUST DOESN’T MATTER!

The group: IT JUST DOESN’T MATTER! IT JUST DOESN’T MATTER…

That’s right, kids. Your opinion just doesn’t matter.

My Faith and my Responsibility to The One Who Made Me, matters a lot more to me than your petty political opinion.

Liberal Democrats Still Using the Race Card…and Black Americans

The Race CardLiberalism has a kind of Tourette’s syndrome these days. It’s just constantly saying the word racism and racist….There’s a kind of intellectual poverty now. Liberalism hasn’t had a new idea since the 1960s, except ObamaCare, and the country doesn’t like it… So what do you do? You say anyone criticizes us is a racist. – George Will

Why have Liberals resumed their egregious use of the “Race Card”?

There are several reasons.

1. Power – President Lyndon Baines Johnson predicted when he launched his “Great Society” in 1964,

I’ll have those n!@#$rs voting Democratic for the next 200 years.

Their perceived empathy for the plight of Black Americans is but a false front, designed to garner votes, just as their all-consuming push for amnesty for illegal aliens, is. The Liberal Democrats determined long ago, that the way to buy voters’ allegiance, is by “spreading the wealth around” and, as they continue expanding entitlements, i.e., free stuff, their efforts, they hope, will continue to pay off at the polls.

2. Divide and Conquer – By Democrats telling Black Americans that “The Man” is still keeping them down in 2014, and, in millionaire Barack Hussein Obama and the First Wookie…err…Lady Michelle Obama’s case, by telling Black Audiences that they’re “down with the struggle”, they are assuring Black Americans that “they’re on “their side”, while preying upon the apprehensions and avarice of their audience. By purposely causing not only a Racial Divide, but fermenting Class Warfare, as well, the are purposefully dividing Americans by Race and Economic Status, even though the reality is, that yesterday, on Tax Day, “the 1%  paid 30% of America’s Tax Burden, while providing Americans actual jobs.

This strategy of “divide and conquer” has been used by Marxists for years, and the “Progressives” are no exception.

Birds of a feather…

3. Failure of Obama’s Policies – As we approach the Mid-Term Elections in November, Democrats have realized that they HAVE to begin to distance themselves from their fallen messiah, President Barack Hussein Obama (mm mmm mmmm). Even the Progressives have begun to admit that ol’ ‘Scooter’s Domestic and Foreign Policy have been national embarrassments. Our enemies are all re-arming themselves under Obama’s Foreign Policy, and domestically, Obamacare is circling down the ol’ porcelain receptacle at breakneck speed, while unemployment is high and shows no signs of abating.

Therefore, the Dems are forced to circle the wagons around Obama, while retaining as much distance from his failures as they can, in order to hold on to their phony-baloney jobs. Hrumph!.

Dr. Thomas Sowell, brilliant Economist and Conservative Political Pundit (who just happens to be Black) once wrote,

Some Obama supporters have long regarded any criticism of him as racism.

…Among people who voted for Barack Obama in 2008, those who are likely to be most disappointed are those who thought that they were voting for a new post-racial era. There was absolutely nothing in Obama’s past to lead to any such expectation, and much to suggest the exact opposite. But the man’s rhetoric and demeanor during the election campaign enabled this and many other illusions to flourish.

Still, it was an honest mistake of the kind that decent people have often made when dealing with people whose agendas are not constrained by decency, but only by what they think they can get away with.

On race, as on other issues, different people have radically different views of Barack Obama, depending on whether they judge him by what he says or by what he does.

As Obama’s own books point out, he has for years cultivated a talent for saying things that people will find congenial.

You want bipartisanship and an end to bickering in Washington? He will say that he wants bipartisanship and an end to bickering in Washington. Then he will shut Republicans out of the decision-making process and respond to their suggestions by reminding them that he won the election. A famous writer– Ring Lardner, I believe– once wrote: “‘Shut up,’ he explained.”

You want a government that is open instead of secretive? He will say that. He will promise to post proposed legislation on the Internet long enough for everyone to read it and know what is in it before there is a vote. In practice, however, he has rushed massive bills through Congress too fast for anybody– even the members of Congress– to know what was in those bills.

Racial issues are more of the same. You want a government where all citizens are treated alike, regardless of race or ethnicity? Obama will say that. Then he will advocate appointing judges with “empathy” for particular segments of the population, such as racial minorities. “Empathy” is just a pretty word for the ugly reality of bias.

Obama’s first nomination of a Supreme Court justice was a classic example of someone with “empathy” for some racial groups, but not others. As a Circuit Court judge, Sonia Sotomayor voted to dismiss a case involving white firefighters who had been denied the promotions for which they qualified, because not enough blacks or Hispanics passed the same test that they did.

A fellow Hispanic judge protested the way the white firefighters’ case was dismissed, rather than adjudicated. Moreover, the Supreme Court not only took the case, it ruled in favor of the firefighters.

Obama’s injecting himself into a local police matter in Massachusetts, despite admitting that he didn’t know the facts, to say that a white policeman was in the wrong in arresting a black professor who was a friend of Obama, was more of the same. So is Obama’s Justice Department overlooking blatant voter intimidation by thugs who happen to be black.

There is not now, nor has there ever been, anything post-racial about Barack Obama, except for the people who voted for him in the mistaken belief that he shared their desire to be post-racial. When he leaves office, especially if it is after one term, he will leave this country more racially polarized than before.

Hopefully, he may also leave the voters wiser, though sadder, after they learn from painful experience that you can’t judge politicians by their rhetoric, or ignore their past because of your hopes for the future. Voters may even wise up to race card fraud.

Dr. Sowell wrote that article in 2010. Since then, and especially after the disastrous start of Obama’s second term as President, we have seen a good portion of America’s population “wise up”.

However, the “47%” and the messiah’s ardent disciples remain as clueless as ever.

If ignorance is bliss, they are some very happy folks.

Liberal “Intellectual Superiority” and the IRS Scandal

IRS ScandalHave you ever attempted to have a “discussion” with a Liberal on an Internet Chat Board? It’s much akin to attempting to have a discussion with a spoiled 5th Grader.

No matter what salient point you counter their argument with, they treat it with a contemptuous disdain, as if they were arguing with someone whose parents were related.

Then, when you have them cornered and defeated, they either go down a “rabbit hole” that has nothing to do with the subject that you are discussing, or they literally have a Cyber Hissy Fit, resorting to ad hominum arguments, so filled with exasperation, that, in your mind’s eye, you envision them holding their breath, and jumping up and down, until they turn blue.

The reality is, as President Ronald Reagan used to quip,

The trouble with our Liberal friends is not that they’re ignorant; it’s just that they know so much that isn’t so.

Liberals always enter into a discussion with a Conservative with an attitude of superiority because they firmly believe themselves to be ‘”the smartest person in the room”, even when they aren’t…which is usually the situation.

Now, don’t get me wrong, I actually have Liberal friends in real life. However, when you are on an Internet Chat Board, the gift of anonymity frees people up to say what they are really feeling.

Its like when we were growing up and we stood in front of the mirror, using a hairbrush as a microphone, while singing along to our favorite song and pretending like we were that artist.

Our inhibitions tend to vanish when we are an anonymous Internet poster.

Therefore, Conservatives tend to fight for our belief in God and Country in no uncertain terms, while Liberals attempt to reinforce the meme that they are “the smartest people in the room”, by whatever means necessary.

When Liberals arrive in Washington to work for our government, whether by election or employment, they usually bring their unsubstantiated sense of superiority with them.

A good example of this is the Obama Administration’s reaction to the IRS Scandal.

From the President on down, they have blown off the matter of targeting Conservative Groups as if it was no big hairy deal.

I’m just glad they haven’t started loading us on the train bound for Siberia, yet.

The House Committee investigating the scandal has found the Administration to be uncooperative, of course.

However, they may have an answer to that.

The Washington Examiner reports that…

House Ways and Means Committee Republicans aren’t ruling out the use of the chamber’s “inherent contempt” authority if Attorney General Eric Holder refuses to act on the panel’s accusations against former IRS official Lois Lerner.

The committee voted Wednesday to seek an investigation of whether Lerner violated federal law by using her power to ensure Right-leaning groups were targeted for extra scrutiny by the agency, giving misleading information during a probe of the matter by the Treasury Department’s inspector general and using her personal email to conduct official business, which could have resulted in the disclosure of confidential taxpayer information.

“The Ways and Means Committee, led by Chairman [Dave] Camp [R-Mich.], has conducted a serious and thorough investigation of the IRS, uncovering abuses and criminal acts that should be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law,” House Speaker John Boehner, R-Ohio, said of the referral. “As I’ve said, if Lois Lerner continues to refuse to testify, then the House will hold her in contempt. And we will continue to shine the light on the administration’s abusive actions and use every tool at our disposal to expose the truth and ensure the American people get the answers they deserve.”

Among those tools is the House’s “inherent contempt” authority under the Constitution, which was initially exercised in 1795 during the First Congress and on multiple occasions thereafter. Lerner could be held until January 2015 when a new Congress is seated, which could issue another subpoena and throw her in the clink again if she still balks at testifying.

“I think we’ll deal with that, should that occur, but I think this too is an ongoing investigation, and, frankly, for the attorney general to turn a blind eye to this evidence would discredit him greatly,” Rep. Kevin Brady, R-Texas, a Ways and Means Committee member, told the Washington Examiner when asked if the House would take that step if Holder refused to take the case.

The belief in their inherent intellectual superiority is one of the factors which has led the Obama Administration to make enormously harmful mistakes in both Domestic and Foreign Policy. Their belief that they are “above” everything, including the Laws of our nation, is what led to the IRS Scandal. This condescending hatred of Conservatives, which has blossomed during the Obama Administration, along with a deep-seated fear of the Tea Party Movement, lead them to attempt to nip a repeat of the 2010 Mid-Term Elections in the bud, by targeting Conservative Groups for auditing by Obama’s IRS.

And, now that their best-laid plan has gone horribly awry, they still believe that their self-believed intellectual superiority places them above our System of Checks and Balances.

However, someone smarter than “the smartest people in the room”, King Solomon, the son of King David, wrote the following,

Pride goes before destruction, and a haughty spirit before a fall. – Proverbs 16:18 (ESV)

It was true then, and it is true now.

Vichy Republicans Expand Obamacare. Time to “Let Them Go Their Way”

boehnercryingI’m confused.

If my wife was looking over my shoulder as I am writing this, she would say,

What else is new?

I realize that the old saying is there’s nothing new under the sun, However, by now you would think that politicians would somehow think up new tricks to pull on their  constituency.

You have no doubt heard that the Republican Party, in a vote which would be called covert only in polite circles, have passed their own additions to the unwanted law known as Obamacare.

According to the Speaker of the House, Republican “Cryin'” John Boehner, the legislation weakens  Obamacare. According to the Democrats, what the Republican Establishment added to Obamacare strengthens the law.

Correct me if I’m wrong but aren’t the Republicans supposed to be the opposition party?

And isn’t the purpose of an opposition party to provide solutions to horrible laws passed by their opponents?

Just like this slavish mainstream media believe that President Barack Hussein Obama walks upon the water, House Speaker John Boehner and the rest of the Vichy Republicans, must idolize or at least respect the Democratic Party because they seem Hell-bent on copying them in their actions, words, and deeds.

Just look at their proclamations lately. They have embraced amnesty, they are in the process of embracing gay marriage, and now, these idiots have actually strengthened  Obamacare.

It seems to me that I remember John Boehner and the rest of them promising at election time to get rid of Obamacare or at least the parts of it that they didn’t like.

And then, they pull this mess, like a bunch of Democrats, and expect us to remember them in  November during the Midterm Elections?

Oh, we will remember them all right. But not in the way they want us to. We will not remember them as leaders. Oh, no. Rather, Americans conservatives will remember them with all of the fondness that the French Resistance remembered the Nazi collaborators, or Vichy French, after World War II.

What slays me is the fact that the Establishment Republicans seem to be quite content, in their moderately left-leaning stupor, to be totally oblivious and tone deaf of their Conservative Base, average hard working middle-class Americans like you and me.

You know, the people who actually put them into office.

They keep on making bad choices.

They have pushed and misty because they erroneously believe that these new citizens will vote for them instead of the Democratic Party, who are ready to be their own personal Santa Claus and by their votes with free admission to the welfare state.

Moderate Republicans have been a barrier to Republican victory for as long as I can remember. Like Quakers, Establishment Republicans seem to believe that passive resistance and reaching out to their sworn enemies friends, is the way to defeat those who oppose you.

It has been especially bad in this election cycle, as the House and Senate Republican Leadership apparently cherish their friendship with the Democrats more than they do the wishes of the folks back home. Yes, they talk a good game, but so did Jon Lovitz in those “Liar Sketches” during the old days of Saturday Night Live, back when they were actually funny.

Yeah,  my wife Morgan Fairchild. Yeah, that’s it. That’s the ticket!

In 1975, Ronald Wilson Reagan gave a speech which sums up our present situation and how we need to handle the Republican Party leadership, quite well.

Americans are hungry to feel once again a sense of mission and greatness.

I don ‘t know about you, but I am impatient with those Republicans who after the last election rushed into print saying, “We must broaden the base of our party” — when what they meant was to fuzz up and blur even more the differences between ourselves and our opponents.

It was a feeling that there was not a sufficient difference now between the parties that kept a majority of the voters away from the polls. When have we ever advocated a closed-door policy? Who has ever been barred from participating?

Our people look for a cause to believe in. Is it a third party we need, or is it a new and revitalized second party, raising a banner of no pale pastels, but bold colors which make it unmistakably clear where we stand on all of the issues troubling the people?

Let us show that we stand for fiscal integrity and sound money and above all for an end to deficit spending, with ultimate retirement of the national debt.

Let us also include a permanent limit on the percentage of the people’s earnings government can take without their consent.

Let our banner proclaim a genuine tax reform that will begin by simplifying the income tax so that workers can compute their obligation without having to employ legal help.

And let it provide indexing — adjusting the brackets to the cost of living — so that an increase in salary merely to keep pace with inflation does not move the taxpayer into a surtax bracket. Failure to provide this means an increase in government’s share and would make the worker worse off than he was before he got the raise.

Let our banner proclaim our belief in a free market as the greatest provider for the people. Let us also call for an end to the nit-picking, the harassment and over-regulation of business and industry which restricts expansion and our ability to compete in world markets.

Let us explore ways to ward off socialism, not by increasing government’s coercive power, but by increasing participation by the people in the ownership of our industrial machine.

Our banner must recognize the responsibility of government to protect the law-abiding, holding those who commit misdeeds personally accountable.

And we must make it plain to international adventurers that our love of peace stops short of “peace at any price.”

We will maintain whatever level of strength is necessary to preserve our free way of life.

A political party cannot be all things to all people. It must represent certain fundamental beliefs which must not be compromised to political expediency, or simply to swell its numbers.

I do not believe I have proposed anything that is contrary to what has been considered Republican principle. It is at the same time the very basis of conservatism. It is time to reassert that principle and raise it to full view. And if there are those who cannot subscribe to these principles, then let them go their way.

I believe that the Republican Party is stuck in a cycle in which their desire to protect their own hindquarters and cushy “jobs” have lead to a self-imposed isolation from the very American Citizens who were responsible for their having those cushy “jobs” in the first place.

I believe that average Americans, like you and me, have the power to relieve them of the burden of such a stressful job, and send others to Washington, who will listen to their “bosses”.

Just as Ronaldus Magnus said those 39 years ago, it is time to “let them go their way”.

The War Against Christianity: The Gay Mafia, The Far Left, and The “Selfish” Generation

WashingtonPrayingMy Christianity has always played an important part of my life. In fact, that it’s probably an understatement.

Without Christ, I would be nothing.

He lifts me out of the valley and carries me to the mountaintop.

He restores my soul.

I have made it no secret that I live in the NW corner of Mississippi, across Stateline Road from my hometown of Memphis Tennessee.

Last Thursday, the governor of my state, Phil Bryant, signed a bill into law in an effort to ensure that intolerant liberals such as the Gay Mafia, backed by a Liberal Federal Government, will not be able to stop me from exercising my right as an American to speak my mind and worship God as I please. The bill states that government cannot put a substantial burden on the practice of religion. For example, the government could not pass a Zoning Law which would limit the location of where someone could place a church or synagogue while not limiting the location of secular businesses.

Liberals who are bent on protesting this, will prove themselves to be the hypocrites that they already are, as this law mirrors the Religious Freedom Restoration Act that Liberal President Bill Clinton signed into law in 1993.

My mind has been on my Christian faith this morning, as it has been the rest of this week.

Boys and girls, if you haven’t noticed yet, America is being torn apart around us.

We have a president who embraces the practice of murdering babies in the womb, and declares that deviant sexual practices, which were one of the factors which led to the downfall of ancient Greece and ancient Rome, are healthy, normal, as a “Civil Right”.

What’s next?

Your Honor, my German Shepherd and I want to get married. We are in love.

We have our brightest and best getting gunned down on our military bases in this country, because Liberal mealy-mouthed politicians do not trust them to carry a sidearm, at the same time that they are asking them to go overseas and die for our country.

Does that make any kind of sense to you? What in the Wild, Wild World of Sports is a’goin’ on around here?

I believe it all starts at home.

This current generation has, in many cases, been raised without knowing Jesus Christ, or if their parents tried to introduce them to Him, they became seduced by popular culture, and tossed their parents’ Christian Faith aside, because it actually required them to exercise individual responsibility, moral courage, and humility, which involves caring for someone other than yourself.

Popular culture teaches that no one is more important than you are and that self-absorbed philosophy is what we are seeing being played out before our eyes today.

We have raised a generation of spoiled brats who have grown into selfish adults.

Just look at the actions of the Gay Mafia and their supporters, who forced Mozilla CEO Brendon Eich out of his job this week in a selfish and cruel act, designed to grab power over the faith practiced by the majority of American citizens.

Growing up, I always noticed that the worst bullies were actually intolerant little nobodies who wanted you to feel as miserable as they did.

That is what is behind this push by intolerant Liberals to attempt to force Christians to only practice the Faith of Our Fathers from 9 a.m. To 12 p.m. on Sunday mornings.

Just as other fascists before them, the thought of an omnipresent God interferes with their belief that they are the most important thing in the universe.

You see, as long as they are the master of their own destiny, which in fact they are, because God gives us free will, their selfish behavior and their sinful lifestyle, present no personal consequences to them, and therefore, do not keep them awake at night. And yet, when you enter into a conversation with a member of this hedonistic generation, you soon find out that they aren’t as personally happy with their lifestyle choices, as they want you to believe that they are. Consequently, as I said earlier in this post, this whole effort by political and social liberals alike, to push this new set of morals values and ethics on average Christian Americans, stems from the fact that they are all miserable, selfish, little cretins, who want their poor lifestyle choices validated and deemed as normal.

America remains 78% Christian. And, this fact drives the Far left, including the “Selfish Generation”, absolutely crazy….and desperate.

Desperate times lead to desperate measures. Hence, this full-bore push, from the White House on down, to minimize the roles which Christian Americans play in Popular Culture, and American Society, as a whole.

That is the reason that schoolchildren are being told that they cannot mention Jesus in their schoolwork and our Best and Brightest are being told that they cannot tell others about Him during the performance of their duties.

Unfortunately, for the Gay Mafia and the other members of the Far Left, including those in DC, Christians won’t be listening to them.

We answer to Someone above their pay grade.

…way above.

CEO/Co-Founder of Mozilla Forced Out By the Gay Taliban…err…Mafia

Brendan EichThe big story yesterday was the fact that the CEO of Mozilla, Brendan Eich resigned Thursday due to unprecedented pressure put on him by supporters of homosexual marriage.

This gentleman was not only the CEO but he was a co-founder of the company, as well.

His only crime was the fact that he believes that marriage was one man and one woman, a position which Barack Hussein Obama, President of the United States, held in 2008 during his first election.

Of course, when 2012 rolled around and it was time to get reelected,  he saw which way the Liberal Winds were blowing. so he changed his mind and decided it was just hunky dory for two hairy guys to take their clothes off and do whatever it is they do under the sheets and call it a “marriage”.

Anyone who has read my blog for any length of time knows exactly what my feelings are on the subject.

I agree with the Reverend Mitchell, former pastor of the old landmark church in Chicago Illinois who said, and I quote,

The Good Lord made Adam and Eve he did not make Adam and Steve. Can I get a witness?

And may I add, if he did make Adam and Steve, none of us would be here because, try as they might, homosexuals cannot procreate.

The Homosexual Lobby and their supporters, affectionately known as the “Gay Mafia”, are stepping it up a notch and getting people fired over their faith.

Even the real Mafia does not attack people’s faith.  In fact, the legendary Mafioso, Al Capone, gave tons of money to Chicago’s Catholic Charities. And, when the Mafia has to terminate the employment of one of their soldiers, emphasis on the word terminate, they make sure that their family is taken care of.

Not so with the Gay Mafia. If you do not support their agenda, they will see that you are fired and do not care one bit if you and your family are put out on the street.

Just as Barack Obama and Eric Holder are presently waging war against Catholic institutions over the mandatory handing our of birth control which Obamacare calls for, the homosexual lobby and their supporters have no respect for the Christian Faith of the majority of the American Public.

Just as the decadent leaders of ancient Rome fed the early Christians to the Lions, so is the unconscionable Gay Mafia tossing aside Christians in their quest for their deviant sexual behavior to be classified as normal.

In fact, I’ll go you one better: these idiots’ fanatical insensitivity to the welfare of believers who have the moral courage to oppose their hedonistic lifestyle, is reminiscent of those Radical Muslims we know as the Taliban.

Which is the height of irony if you think about it, because Radical Muslims not only behead Christians, they remove the heads of homosexual Muslims as well.

You see me say time and time again, that it is funny how those among us who claim to be the most tolerant, are actually the least of all.

The Gay Mafia or, more appropriately, The Gay Taliban,  are prime examples.

As with any liberal, as long as you believe what they believe, you’re one of the smartest people in the room. However,as soon as you cross them, and stand up for your own Christian Heritage of Faith, you are labeled a stupid “Christianist” and/or an inbred hillbilly.

Additionally, when the voters of a state get together to express their opposition to homosexual marriage through their right to vote, the Gay Mafia finds a sympathetic judge to rule that marriage is a “Civil Right”, instead of a Holy Sacrament…a bond between a man and a woman, ordained by God.

The problem that Christian and Conservatives alike face is the fact that being Pro-homosexual marriage is the “cool” thing to be now.

Even if it is at the expense of the First Amendment.

In response to the beat-down of Brendan Eich, the Executive Chairwoman of Mozilla, Mitchell Baker, wrote the following in a post on the Mozilla Blog:

Mozilla believes both in equality and freedom of speech. Equality is necessary for meaningful speech. And you need free speech to fight for equality. Figuring out how to stand for both at the same time can be hard. Our organizational culture reflects diversity and inclusiveness. We welcome contributions from everyone regardless of age, culture, ethnicity, gender, gender-identity, language, race, sexual orientation, geographical location and religious views. Mozilla supports equality for all.

We have employees with a wide diversity of views. Our culture of openness extends to encouraging staff and community to share their beliefs and opinions in public. This is meant to distinguish Mozilla from most organizations and hold us to a higher standard. But this time we failed to listen, to engage, and to be guided by our community.

TRANSLATION: Diversity is more important than Freedom of Religion and Freedom of Speech, especially if you are Conservative, Christian, and/or Pro-Traditional Marriage.

So, what’s the answer?

Simple. Average Americans, like you and me, either stand up on their hind legs, ignore the push polls, open the window and shout “I’m mad as Hell and I’m not going to take this anymore” or we just sit back like lambs led to the slaughter and watch as our Freedom of Speech and Freedom of Religion fade away like the ancient Roman Empire.

And, I aint lion…err…lyin’.

Ann Coulter Wants Romney in 2016…To Heck With Us “Rubes” in the Heartland.

anncoulterJust when you thought that Ann Coulter had regained her senses..she shows her true colors in a television interview.

Here is a transcript, courtesy of realclearpolitics.com:

HOST: Who are you for, for president right now, Ann?

ANN COULTER: Well, don’t tell him but I’m planning on giving Mitt Romney a little more time to rest — flying out, kidnapping him and depriving him of sleep, food and water until he agrees to run again.

HOST: You’re kidding?

COULTER: No.

HOST: You really want him to run again?

COULTER: Yeah, I think he was a fantastic candidate. As I’ve told you before, he would have won by a larger landslide than Ronald Reagan did in 1980 without Teddy Kennedy’s immigration bill. And it’s basically impossible to beat an incumbent, but he is head and shoulders better than the other candidates we had. And I don’t want to name them, but I mean you go through the list — and for one thing, as you and I discussed, and this is the most important point, that all of your listeners have to tell all of their friends knock it off with the Congressmen or inspirational figures. It’s got to be a Governor or a Senator, preferably a Governor. And, you know, there is a limited world — a list of who those people are, and they all have problems. None of them are articulate and reasonable, and as good on immigration as Mitt Romney!

HOST: What about Ted Cruz?

COULTER: Well, he’s a lot worse on immigration.

HOST: Is he that bad? I didn’t think he was that bad on immigration.

COULTER: Well, most Republicans are, that’s why you need to call your Congressman. I’m not singling out Ted Cruz, he has the same position a lot of these idiots have. ‘Oh yes, let them come here and we have a special permit, we just won’t give them citizenship. But we want to increase guest workers.’

That’s going to last 10 seconds and destroy the Republican party with Hispanics. What are we going to have, a servant class we’re going to bring in to work for us? Um, no, within six months they will all be citizens voting for the Democrats, and Republicans will never win another election.

No, but Romney was the best on immigration of any candidate in my lifetime with the possible exception of Ronald Reagan, but he was hoodwinked in passing that amnesty —

HOST: Right, Simpson-Mazzoli, or whatever it was called in 1986.

COULTER: And with the promise of border enforcement. I mean, Ed Meese himself has said if Reagan could go back, he never would have signed that now. He was double-crossed.

HOST: Yeah, but people are saying, ‘No, Ann, no. No more RINOs.’

COULTER: Well, that’s just the mob taking over — you may not have the tribe wanting to run Romney again, but the idea the he’s a RINO, as opposed to what, Rick Perry, who gave illegal aliens in-state tuition. The same thing with Chris Christie. And, as I say, Ted Cruz is a disaster on illegal immigration.

That is YOUR opinion, Miz Ann.

Once again, through the love of your Vichy Republican Heart, Williard Mitt Romney, you have shown yourself to be nothing but an Establishment Republican, who sold books, while masquerading as a Conservative.

After it has all been said and done, you are just another Beltway Darling, enamored with your position as a “political pundit”, drunk with fame and arrogance, looking down on us Average Conservative Americans, here in the Heartland.

I can hear your response to my charges, even as I write this Blog:

Why can’t you be smart, like we are, in the Beltway? Don’t you know that Reagan Conservatism is passe? We need to pick a candidate for president who can reach across the aisle, a Moderate, err, I mean a “real” Republican who knows his place. Umm, I mean, one who will sit in the Oval Office with grace and dignity.

Now, shuddup you stupid rednecks and let us geniuses up here in the Beltway tell you who to vote for.

Unfortunately, Miz Ann, it doesn’t work that way.

You see, we average Americans, here in Dixie, and folks in the rest of the Heartland, are fed up with you Vichy Republicans treating us like the hired help. We stood by and watched you nominate the likes of Bob Dole and John McCain, the squishiest of squishes, then held our noses and dutifully voted for them.

Then, we watched you and your buddies, the Democrats, and their lackeys, the Main Stream Media, trash a good Christian American like Sarah Palin, to the point where she and her family said, “Enough of this mess”, which led to her dropping out of the Primary race.

This, in 2012, your Vichy Republican Role Models decided that it was Mitt Romney’s “turn”,  leading him to the same embarrassing fate that every other “moderate” Republican has met in a Presidential Election.

Afterwards, you joined in with them, in blaming absent Conservative Voters, for Romney’s Failure.

Miz Ann, you need to go on Wheel of Fortune, buy a vowel and get a clue. The South and rest of the Heartland will vote for whomever we want to, so go get your skinny self a sammich and stuff it.

Besides, why should we trust the judgment of someone who used to date Bill Maher, anyway?

I rest my case.

Until He Comes,

A Warning From a Fed Up American Conservative

McCainObamaAs I surf the web, time and time again I am drawn to websites where they are holding political discussions.

I know…shocker! Right?

Anyway, it’s amazing how websites are a reflection of our political reality. Every website and Facebook Page, where there is political discussion, unless they are just Pro-one-way-or-the-other, puts out a plea for civil discourse in discussions that are on their site.

Unfortunately though, that never seems to happen. And, why is that?

In our American culture today, the art of civil discourse has degenerated into a shouting match. This wouldn’t be so bad, if both sides had the right to shout equally as loud as the other side.

The problem is, for some reason Conservatives are expected to mind our manners, be meek and mild, and follow the Marquis of Queensbury rules, while Liberals, libertarians, and Moderates (Social Liberals) call us everything but a child of God.

However, this doesn’t just happen on the Internet, this happens in the Real World as well… and it all starts with the President of the United States and trickles down from there.

Before Obama became President, in a private fund raiser in Pennsylvania, he referred to us American Conservatives as bitter clingers, clinging to our guns and Bibles. Then, the Main Stream Media, totally in love with their new messiah, told everyone who would listen, that if you did not vote for Barack Hussein Obama as President, you are a racist.

When Conservatives started to dig up historical facts about Obama, both the Republicans and the Democrats told us to sit down, shut up, and know “our role”.

After Obama was elected, and the country started to find out just exactly who he was, Conservatives started to speak out again. Again, we were told to sit down, shut up, and know our “role”.

Finally, we had enough and began a groundswell which led to the formation of  what has become known as the Tea Party.

The rise of the Tea Party movement and America’s return to Conservatism, which resulted in the political massacre known as the 2010 Midterm Elections, was such a surprise to them.  In their self-imposed isolation, they actually thought that the America people wanted them to continue their deal-making, soul-selling, business-as-usual politics.

They were in shock when American Conservatives stood up on their hind legs and gave the House of Representatives back to the Republican Party.

And, you know what happened afterwards?

Speaker of the House John Boehner and the rest of the GOP establishment, once again, told us to sit down, shut up, and know our “role”.

Are you beginning to see a pattern, boys and girls?

So, as the country was heading down the old porcelain receptacle in Obama’s first term as President, Conservatives were regulated by the Moderates and the Liberals of both political parties into assuming the role of backseat bus riders, pariahs, if you will.

The Republican Party, when it came time to run against Obama for his second term, would not even let a Conservative speak at their convention. Then, when the dust cleared and Obama was reelected, the GOP wondered why Conservatives stayed home and did not vote for Mitt Romney, a legacy who was as squishy as a bowl of Jello and whose campaign was about as exciting as Masterpiece Theater.

That brings us to the present. We are just a few months away from the 2014 Midterm Elections. The candidates are beginning to ramp up their campaigns and all the political pundits are predicting a political massacre that will make 2010 look like an episode of My Little Pony.

Unfortunately for the Moderate GOP Establishment, their success in November of this year depends upon their appealing to the Conservative Base, because as they found out in 2012, if we don’t vote for them, they won’t win.

On March 1, 1975, the Great Communicator and Future President of the United States, Ronald Wilson Reagan, spoke the following words at the 2nd Annual CPAC Convention. He may as well have been speaking yesterday.

Timeless advice, from a “Conservative Extremist” who won the Presidency twice, carrying 44 states in 1980 and 48 states in 1984.

And, that brings us back to the subject of civil discourse.

You see, the Moderate or Socially Liberal Republicans, just like the Liberal Democrats, expect us to behave like a dog who has been whipped too much, and go cower in a corner or obey their orders in a dutiful fashion, coming when they call for us to vote for them in the next election.

Their expectation of Conservative Behavior is predicated on the fact that they know that we were raised right, and that the majority of us are Christians and were raised to respect authority.

Therefore, Moderate Republicans and Liberal Democrats feel as if they can take advantage of the good nature of American Conservatives, and walk all over us.

Well, I’ve got some news for them.

As a Christian American Conservative, I do my best to live my faith, every day.

However, boys and girls, don’t forget… Jesus ran the money changers out of the temple.

Until He Comes,

KJ
