Is Obamacare on Its “Deathbed”?

obamadoctorNo government ever voluntarily reduces itself in size. Government programs, once launched, never disappear. Actually, a government bureau is the nearest thing to eternal life we’ll ever see on this earth! – Ronald Reagan

The big story in the news yesterday came as no surprise to me. President Barack Hussein Obama signature legislation known as Obamacare, has reached an all time low in popularity, coming in at 26% on an Associated Press poll.

Never in all of my life, or at least since I’ve been aware of our government and the way things work, have I seen such a relentless propaganda campaign by the American Government to force upon their citizens something that they did not want in the first place.

Government- run healthcare has been the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow for the Democratic Party for decades.

Back in the 90’s, First Lady Hillary Rodham Clinton tried to get a Nationally-run Healthcare System of her own design put in place. Her dreams were dashed when United States citizens melted down the Congressional Phone Lines with a unified shout out of “NO WAY!”,  that could be heard from here to Asgard (a reference for you “Thor” fans out there).

Since then, the Democratic Party had no doubt been plotting in smoke filled rooms, biding their time, waiting for the chance to spring a nationally-run healthcare system upon the unsuspecting American people again.

And then came Barack Hussein Obama, a “clean and articulate” candidate, who was “down with the struggle” and intimate with a teleprompter.

When he ascended to the throne, Barack the Magnificent made no secret of his plans to nationalize and therefore ruin the greatest healthcare system in the world.

And, with both houses of Congress controlled by the Democrats, there was no way to stop him.

When America asked what specifically was in the “Affordable Care Act”, San Fran Nan Pelosi told us that she didn’t know either, and that Congress would have to pass  the bill to find out what was in it.

All the while, , “Baracky Claus” was assuring all of us good little girls and boys that” if we liked our doctor, we could keep our doctor. If we liked our health insurance plan, we could keep our health insurance plan.”

So on Christmas Eve of 2009, Baracky Claus’ little elves in Congress gave America a present we didn’t want.

Once the Democrats passed this bill into law, Americans soon found out why they were so reluctant to tell us exactly what was in the bill.

It turned out to a bill conceived on the misguided pretense that young Americans in their 20’s would be willing to pay the insurance bill for elderly people.

Heck, young folks are usually borrowing money from the grandparents…not giving it to them.

As this sick, twisted excuse for law started to be revealed, Americans found out that not only where we going to go trillions of dollars in debt, additionally, we were going to have to provide birth control for free to easy young women like Sandra Fluke. (Yeah. I said it.)

However, that wasn’t the worst of it.

We also found out the cancer treatments would be cut off at the age of 70. So,if you come down with cancer at the age of 70…tough.  But hold on…that’s not all: the government will decide what sort of treatment you get as you journey through your twilight years.

Oh, you broke her hip grandma? Well…here’s an aspirin.

And, that brings us to present day.

Obama has issued so many Executive Orders and made so many corrections to this awful law, that it is even more confusing than before he started making the corrections.

And, who could forget the launch of the Obamacare website?

It has turned out to be the biggest bomb since Rosie O’Donnell Variety Show. We found out that the company that designed it had an executive on that staff who went to college with First Lady Michelle Obama. They had previously screwed up jobs  in Canada, but the Obama administration hired them anyway.

After we got rid of them, it seemed like things were going better. However, now we find out that the back end of the website, the part that involves the insurance companies, is not completed.

And yet, the administration claims at least six million people have signed up.

You figure that one out. It gives me a headache.

So, it’s no surprise that Obamacare’s popularity is down to 26%. Heck,  its probably not even that high. The Associated Press probably polled more Democrats than anybody else.

In fact, Obamacare is so horrible that Democrats have been told not to run on it in the upcoming midterm election. A Campaign Adviser has told them to tell the gullible among us, that they will “fix it”.

Uh huh. And, the check’s in the mail.

However, don’t expect the GOP Establishment, or Vichy Republicans, as I call them, to do the politically-savvy thing and call for Obamacare to be shut down. Oh no. They want to “fix it” as well.

The harsh reality is, these “Beltway Bubble” Republicans, just like their buddies “across the aisle”, view a Nationally-run Healthcare System as a way to further expand the power and reach of the Federal Government and line the Federal Vaults with money…and, at least for some of them, keeping the travesty known as Obamacare gives them the opportunity to further line their pockets with money, as well.

The only ones hollering to do the right and logical thing, and  shut it down, are Ted Cruz and the rest of the Tea Party, or Reagan Conservative Republicans.

And, those are the ones we need to support and vote for this November.

Supreme Court to Rule on Obama’s Abuse of Executive Powers

obamaburningconstitutionHe [the President] shall have Power, by and with the Advice and Consent of the Senate, to make Treaties, provided two thirds of the Senators present concur; and he shall nominate, and by and with the Advice and Consent of the Senate, shall appoint Ambassadors, other public Ministers and Consuls, Judges of the supreme Court, and all other Officers of the United States, whose Appointments are not herein otherwise provided for, and which shall be established by Law: but the Congress may by Law vest the Appointment of such inferior Officers, as they think proper, in the President alone, in the Courts of Law, or in the Heads of Departments.

The President shall have Power to fill up all Vacancies that may happen during the Recess of the Senate, by granting Commissions which shall expire at the End of their next Session. – Article II, Section 2 of the United States Constitution

TheHill.com reports that

Nothing less than the boundaries of executive power are at stake Monday as the Supreme Court considers whether President Obama violated the Constitution during his first term.

Oral arguments slated for Monday will center on a trio of recess appointments to the National Labor Relations Board (NLRB) that were deemed unconstitutional by lower courts.

If they uphold the decision, experts say the justices could endanger hundreds of NLRB decisions.

Even more significant are the ramifications for future presidents, with the court poised either to bolster or blunt the chief executive’s appointment powers.

“Rulings like this have implications that last for centuries,” said Michael Lotito, an employment and labor attorney and co-chairman of Littler Mendelson’s Workplace Policy Institute.

Presidents have for decades used recess appointment powers when the Senate is away to install judges and fill top federal vacancies that ordinarily would be subject to confirmation proceedings.

But with the disputed NLRB appointments, Obama became the first president to appoint nominees when the Senate was in a “pro-forma” session, when the upper chamber is briefly called to order and adjourned every few days.

The sessions are intended to prevent recess appointments, and usually only a handful of senators are present for them. In filling the NLRB posts, the Obama administration claims that the Senate is generally not available to conduct business during the sessions, so the president’s recess appointment power is in effect.

“The sham pro-forma sessions are nothing more than that,” said Catholic University law professor Victor Williams, who filed a brief backing the government’s position.

The impetus for recess appointments has faded now that Senate Democrats have changed their chamber’s rules to allow for a simple majority vote on presidential nominees. Nevertheless, the case could stunt Obama’s and future presidents’ authority when it comes to staffing administrations.

The case was brought by Noel Canning, an Oregon-based soft drink bottling and distribution company that challenged the appointments as unconstitutional.

In January of last year, the D.C. Circuit Court of Appeals agreed.

The appellate court ruling under now review at the Supreme Court found a narrow window for the president to make recess appointments. Under its decision, the president can only make such appointments when the Senate is in recess between sessions of Congress, and only if a vacancy occurred in that same time period.

That goes well against protocol adopted by past Democratic and Republican presidents. A Congressional Service Research report found 329 such appointments since 1981 that would not meet that criteria and would be ruled void if the appeals court decision was law.

Some see the fight against the labor board as a broader effort in which opponents have sought to stymie the Obama administration’s rules and regulations.

“I think the battle against the NLRB over the last few years has been a proxy war about the proper role and scope of government,” said Wilma Liebman, who served as chairwoman of the NLRB from January 2009 to August 2011.

Yesterday, on Fox News, Senator Ted Cruz said,

The pattern we’ve seen under President Obama, disregarding the law, is really one of the most troubling aspects of this presidency,” he said. “When he disagrees with the law…he simply refuses to comply with it.

He is exactly right. For instance, he had his Attorney General, Eric Holder, announce the other day that the Administration would not recognize the will of voters in Utah concerning their banning of Gay Marriage in that state. An activist judge had previously struck down the vote, only for the judge’s decision to be “stayed” by the Supreme Court.

An out-of-control Executive Branch is the antithesis of what the Founding Fathers had in mind when they created our Constitutional Republic. Those wise men created a government unlike any other on God’s green Earth, devising a government whose system of checks and balances would provide a natural defense against a megalomaniac assuming dictatorial powers and bypassing the Constritution, in the manner in which the current occupant of 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue most certainly has.

Just as we are facing today, our founders knew that we would face challenges as a nation.

Once they had won their Freedom, and formed their new nation, our Founding Fathers set upon the task of putting quill to paper, creating a Constitution, stating for all the world to know, the rights, given to them by their Creator, which they would put in place as the guidelines upon which they would carry this new nation to its destiny.

Outside Independence Hall, when the Constitutional Convention of 1787 ended, Mrs. Powel of Philadelphia asked Benjamin Franklin, “Well, Doctor, what have we got, a republic or a monarchy?” With no hesitation whatsoever, Franklin responded, “A republic, if you can keep it.”

A ruling today against Obama’s usurpation of Executive Powers will be a great step in ensuring that we keep our Constitutional Republic.

The accumulation of all powers, legislative, executive, and judiciary, in the same hands, whether of one, a few, or many, and whether hereditary, self-appointed, or elective, may justly be pronounced the very definition of tyranny. – James Madison

Obama and Obamacare: Obama Tries to Close Pandora’s Box

obamababyYesterday morning, the 44th President of the United States of America, Barack Hussein Obama, appeared before the American People in a hastily-called Press Conference, is a desperate attempt to undo the disastrous effects of his Signature Legislation, the Affordable Care Act.

Here are excerpts from his prepared statement, courtesy whitehouse.gov:

Already, people who have plans that predate the Affordable Care Act can keep those plans if they haven’t changed. That was already in the law. That’s what’s called a grandfather clause. It was included in the law. Today, we’re going to extend that principle both to people whose plans have changed since the law took effect, and to people who bought plans since the law took effect.

“The bottom line, President Obama said, is that “insurers can extend current plans that would otherwise be canceled into 2014, and Americans whose plans have been canceled can choose to re-enroll in the same kind of plan.”

“So we’re going to do everything we can to help the Americans who’ve received these cancellation notices,” President Obama said. “But there are also 40 million Americans who don’t have health insurance. And I am not going to walk away from 40 million people who have the chance to get health insurance for the first time.”

It took 100 years for us to even get to the point where we could start talking about and implementing a law to make sure everybody has got health insurance. And my pledge to the American people is, is that we’re going to solve the problems that are there, we’re going to get it right, and the Affordable Care Act is going to work for the American people.

Shortly after this Dog & Pony Show was over, the reality of Obama’s promises started to be questioned.

TheBlaze.com is among a lot of others who immediately asked the question…

Does Obama Have Legal Authority to Alter Obamacare, Laws Passed by Congress?

President Barack Obama pauses while speaking about his signature health care law, Thursday, Nov. 14, 2013, in the Brady Press Briefing Room of the White House in Washington. Bowing to pressure, President Barack Obama intends to permit continued sale of individual insurance plans that have been canceled because they failed to meet coverage standards under the health care law, officials said Thursday. (AP/Charles Dharapak)

“The short answer is no,” David Corbin, a professor of politics at King’s College in New York, told TheBlaze.

“However, the way he’s been operating on this bill is that he can make alterations as he goes along,” Corbin said. “And so far, he’s been allowed to get away with it.”

“All legislative Powers herein granted shall be vested in a Congress of the United States…”

Share:

Historically, the executive branch has not been allowed to alter laws passed by Congress, he said, adding that there is a constitutional argument to be made.

Corbin cited section one, article one of the U.S. Constitution: “‘All legislative powers herein granted shall be vested in a Congress of the United States which shall consist of a Senate and House of Representatives.’”

“The president certainly has some regulatory and prosecutorial discretion in how he executes the law, but he has no legislative power,” Corbin said. “If his actions in this case (waiver, extensions, etc.) amount to him becoming a lawmaker rather than a law executor, they are unconstitutional.”

Though the Constitution is clear that “all legislative powers” belong to Congress, Corbin said it sometimes comes down to how those in power choose to “interpret” the law.

“I’m not sure he will be able to get away with it in this case because I think people are going to understand that if you are going to remove the law of any legal standing by having the enforcement mechanisms or the penalties stripped out, then what is the law?” the professor added.

Appearing on MSNBC on Thursday, former Vermont Gov. Howard Dean reportedly questioned if Obama really has the “legal authority to do this” when discussing the proposed change to the law, Fox News’ Bret Baier tweeted.

During a briefing before the presidential press conference, officials reportedly told members of the press that the White House does have the authority to delay enforcement for a year.

“HHS will be using its enforcement discretion to allow for this transition,” the official said, according to the Washington Times. “Enforcement discretion can be used generally in transitions, as well as a bridge towards legislation. This is something that has been used, for example, with the deferred action for childhood arrivals policy, pending immigration reform.”

Here’s Obama’s other problem: What if the State Insurance Commissioners refuse to co-operate?

Like Washington’s State Insurance Commissioner, Mike Kreidler, for example?

Within two hours of President Obama’s news conference announcing the proposed administrative fix for Americans upset by their policy cancellations, Kreidler issued a statement rejecting the proposal.

“I understand that many people are upset by the notices they have recently received from their health plans and they may not need the new benefits [in the Affordable Care Act] today,” he said. “But I have serious concerns about how President Obama’s proposal would be implemented and more significantly, its potential impact on the overall stability of our health insurance market.”

“I do not believe his proposal is a good deal for the state of Washington,” Kreidler’s statement continued. “We will not be allowing insurance companies to extend their policies.”

Kreidler said his office estimated that 290,000 people in Washington will need to buy new coverage for 2014 and that at least half of them will qualify for a premium subsidy if they purchase a plan through the state’s online insurance exchange, Washington Healthplanfinder.

“I encourage anyone who is shopping for new health plans — whether you’ve been uninsured or have received a cancellation notice from your insurer — to look at all of your options,” he said.

I was reading accounts of Obama’s Press Conference at work yesterday. What they revealed was a flailing swimmer who should have stayed in the Kiddie Pool…a discombobulated President, rambling in such a desperate fashion, that it appeared that he was looking for something…anything…to save his Signature Legislature and the hopes of the Democratic Party in both 2014 and 2016.

The problem for Obama and the Dems is: they own this fiasco. Not a single Republican voted for Obamacare in the middle of that dark night.

Hopefully, the Vichy Republicans will not pull defeat from the jaws of victory by proposing their own version of Obamacare, as Senator Minority Leader, Mitch McConnell, alluded to yesterday.

If your opponent is digging himself into a hole…stand back and let him finish.

Obamacare: Inception, Perception, and Rejection

obamacaremoeAs I posted yesterday, President Barack Hussein Obama came on NBC Nightly News on Thursday night, to “apologize” to the America People, concerning his Signature Legislation, Obamacare.

Through a convoluted parsing of words, the petulant President ducked, dodged,. dipped, dived, and dodged ( to borrow the words of Rip Torn as Patches O’Houlihan in the movie “Dodgeball: An Underdog’s Story”) his way through the interview with NBC’s Chuck Todd, until, when the interview was over, Americans realized that he was not actually apologizing for the disastrous Roll-out of Obamacare…he was actually apologizing that we caught him at his duplicity.

The implementation of a State-Run Healthcare System has been a major goal of the Democrats, Liberals, Progressives, Communists, Socialists, Marxists, Alinsky-ites, for decades now.

Call them what you will…I think they stink on ice. But, I digress…

To the Wayback Machine, Sherman! (That’s a reference to the “Rocky & Bullwinkle Show”, for you 20 year olds)

After Bill “Bubba” Clinton and Hillary “Cankles” Clinton ascended to the presidency in 1993, they immediately started to work on putting together a Plan for National Healthcare Reform, whether the American People actually thought we needed it, or not.

Sound Familiar?

First, Bill appointed Hil as the chair of the task force devising the plan. you see, Bubba had campaigned heavily on health care in the 1992 U.S. presidential election. After the task force was created in January 1993, The way it conducted business came under scrutiny by Congress and the public, alike.   Like Obama’s promise concerning Obamacare, the Clinton Task Force’s goal was to come up with a comprehensive plan to provide universal health care for all Americans, which was to be a cornerstone of the administration’s first-term agenda.

In September of 1993, Clinton went before Congress and delivered a major healthcare speech, introduced Congress and the Nation to his and his little flower’s (Hillary, not Jennifer) Grand Scheme.

The core element of the proposed plan was an enforced mandate for employers to provide health insurance coverage to all of their employees through competitive but closely regulated health maintenance organizations.

Again…sound familiar, boys and girls?

Just like the Obamacare debacle, anybody with any sense whatsoever, including, but not limited to,  Conservatives, Libertarians, and the Healthcare and the Health Insurance Industries, rose up against the Clintons’ plan.

The Health Insurance Industry even came out with a highly effective television ad, a “Harry and Louise” ad”, designed to rally public support against the plan. Democrats,in an attempt to protect their phony-boloney jobs, started distancing themselves from the Clintons, and instead of uniting behind the First Couple’s National Healthcare Proposal, started presenting a number of competing plans of their own.

Bill and Hil’s Grand Scheme ultimately withered away amid the barrage of fire from the American Public and even further cemented the public’s perception of Ms. Rodham Clinton as the power-hungry shrew of a wife, behind her easy-going, people person husband, “good ol’ Bubba”.

The Clintons’ Grand Scheme was declared dead by Senate Majority Leader George J. Mitchell in September of 1994.

Our next stop during our journey through the inception of Obamacare, involves Former 2012 Republican Presidential Candidate Willard “Mitt” Romney.

Back in 2006, Romney signed a massive health-insurance overhaul into law as Governor of Massachusetts. “Romneycare” was packed with subsidies, exchanges, and mandates to extend coverage to the uninsured. Four years later, it became the model for the national nightmare known as Obamacare.

So, what is the truth concerning Romneycare?  Well, according to this article, posted on wsj (Wall Street Journal).com on January 21st, 2010:

Using the Census Bureau’s current population survey, University of Kentucky economist Aaron Yelowitz and Michael Cannon of the Cato Institute studied RomneyCare between 2005 and 2008—that is, two years on either side of its passage. The share of uninsured residents did fall to 5.4% in 2008 from 9.8% in 2005 (though the authors argue this reduction is overstated).

But Messrs. Yelowitz and Cannon show that most of the new coverage was concentrated among people earning under 300% of the federal poverty level, or about $66,000 for a family of four. Those happen to be the same people who qualify for subsidies in the heavily regulated insurance “connector,” the prototype for the “exchanges” that Democrats were contemplating before Mr. [Senator-Elect Scott] Brown so rudely interrupted.

Coverage for adults in this group increased by 14.2 percentage points—which merely proves that “universal” coverage isn’t much of a problem if health care is cheap for consumers. But another way of thinking about it is that the subsidies amount to a taxpayer-funded insurance discount. The same increase in coverage might be achievable if health care were less expensive. But rather than deregulate and reform the private market to lower costs, Mr. Romney and Democrats defaulted to the same public transfer payments that define ObamaCare.

What is the definition of stupidity, boys and girls?

In August of 2009, during his Weekly Address, Obama said,

…while reform is obviously essential for the 46 million Americans who don’t have health insurance, it will also provide more stability and security to the hundreds of millions who do. Right now, we have a system that works well for the insurance industry, but that doesn’t always work well for you. What we need, and what we will have when we pass health insurance reform, are consumer protections to make sure that those who have insurance are treated fairly and that insurance companies are held accountable.

So, aided by a Democrat-controlled House and Senate, Obamacare was foisted upon the unwitting and unwilling American Public, on dark and foreboding night.

Which brings us to “This Present Darkness” (taken from the title of a Christian novel by Frank E. Peretti, which illumines the war American Christians fight everyday with “princes and principalities”. Sadly appropriate.)

According to McClatchyDC.com, 52 million Americans will lose their Health Insurance Coverage because of Obamacare. For you 20-something year old Libs, that’s 52 with six zeros behind it.

These are American lives I am talking about. Not imaginary statistics.

On top of that revelation, it also came out yesterday that only 22% of uninsured Americans have visited the Obamacare Exchanges. In other words, and I’ll type s-l-o-w-l-y for any Liberals who may be reading this, 78% of the Americans whom Obama and the Democrats cited as the reason for the Federal Government to ruin the finest Healthcare System in the World, do not want it. Period.

Okay. so, if, as has been determined, Obama and The Democrat Braintrust knew from the start that millions of Americans would lose their Health Insurance, what is the purpose of Obamacare, and why did the President of the United States and his minions in his Administration, Congress, and the Media lie, over and over again, about how positively perfect and wonderfully wonderful Obamacare would be?

Two words, one hyphen: Single Payer.

The Democrats have always, desperately, wanted Uncle Sugar to run Americans Healthcare Industry, just like the old Soviet Union, and present-day Communist China. They want to be in charge of our lives from cradle to grave, making life or death decisions for American Families. Stories are already coming out concerning Americans with Terminal Cancer, who are losing their Health Insurance coverage. Do you believe that Obamacare will help them? it won’t if they can not afford it, or get through the Government Bureaucracy in time for life-saving medical treatment. And, even if they do receive treatment in time, Obamacare cuts off paying for the treatment of Cancer at the age of 76.

So sorry. Here’s the book. here’s the phone. See ya later. You’re on your own.

For all of the Petulant President’s platitudes, Obamacare has about as much to do with “duty and Humanity” as the classic Three Stooges short.

Calling Dr. Howard…Dr. Fine…Dr. Howard…

And, unlike that movie short, featuring “The Boys”, there is nothing funny about Obamacare, at all.

In fact, it’s a National Tragedy.

Until He Comes,

KJ

Obama Told Me, “You Better Shop Around”!

marie-antoinette-obamaYesterday, while speaking at an event in Boston, President Barack Hussein Obama (mm mmm mmmm) attempted to correct the lie which he has been telling the American Public over and over again, since he first campaigned for the Presidency: the lie concerning Americans with privately-held Health Insurance Polices being able to keep them with the advent of Obamacare…

Now, if you had one of these substandard plans before the Affordable Care Act became law, and you really like that plan, you were able to keep it. That’s what I said when I was running for office. That was part of the promise we made. But ever since the law was passed, if insurers decided to downgrade or cancel the substandard plans, what we said under the law is that you have got to replace them with quality, comprehensive coverage because that, too, was a central premise of the Affordable Care Act from the very beginning…

So if you’re getting one of these letters [canceling your insurance policy], just shop around in the new marketplace. That’s what it’s for…

For the fewer than 5% of Americans who buy insurance on your own, you will be getting a better deal. So anyone peddling the motion that insurers are canceling people’s plan without mentioning that almost all the insurers are encouraging people to join better plans with the same carrier and stronger benefits and stronger protections, while others will be able to get better plans with new carriers through the marketplace, and then many will get new help to pay for these better plans and make them actually cheaper–if you leave that stuff out, you’re being grossly misleading, to say the least.

Yeah…about that “new marketplace”, Scooter. It’s kind of hard to “shop around” when the cotton-pickin’ website keeps crashing.

While your hench-woman, HHS Secretary Kathleen Sibelius, was on the stand at yesterday’s Congressional Hearing, the darn thing crashed again, leading to what Sean Hannity called “an unfortunate screen shot”, with Healthcare.gov’s Technical Problems page on the left of the screen and Sibelius on the right.

“Glitch-plagued” does not even begin to describe the castastrophe-filled abyss that is healthcare.gov.

The National Republican Congressional Committee has published some horror stories that will send chills down you spine on this Halloween…

1. “Three weeks”

Jennie Johnson from Missouri City, Texas, has been trying for “three weeks” to access HealthCare.gov. She eventually decided to take President Obama’s advice and check out her insurance options by phone, but only got a few steps in before being told she had to return to the broken website.

2. “Every day for three consecutive weeks”

David Harrison from Tennessee has attempted to enroll into ObamaCare every day for three consecutive weeks. Not only is he being forced to jump through the glitches to enroll in a health care plan, but some of the plans he is eligible for are more expensive than he was hoping for.

3. “Two weeks”

Elizabeth Cohen, a reporter for CNN, writes that for two weeks straight she tried to access HealthCare.gov, only to be greeted by error messages. Cohen even tried logging on at 3 am on Sunday morning, only to be told by the site that the system was down.

4. “Three weeks”

Patricia from North Carolina has been “trying for three weeks to see what ObamaCare offers without success.” Her current health plan has been cancelled thanks to ObamaCare, and yet she has not been able to sign on to browse a potential replacement.

5. “23 days later”

Mary Noble, an editor at Politix.com, wrote that “for the last 23 days I’ve tried and abjectly failed to create an account on Healthcare.gov.”

So, with Americans suffering under under his Signature Socialist Legislation, which was rammed down our throats, an American President would be humble and apologetic about the situation, instead of attempting to pass the buck, while admonishing American Citizens to “shop around”.

But, not our Manchurian President.

Americans do not matter to him. His Marx/Alinsky – inspired Political Ideology, which, in turn, fuels his plan to “fundamentally change” the Shining City of the Hill” into just another Third-World Barrio, takes precedence over the health and well-being of American citizens, whom he has sworn to protect and defend from enemies, foreign and domestic.

In the 44th President’s case, it’s hardly a priority to protect a citizenry whom you have nothing in common with.

And, apparently, other Americans are starting to realize what Conservatives have known all along: Obama is for Obama.

A new NBC News/Wall Street Journal survey shows that a mere 42 percent of Americans approve of Obama’s job performance, down five points from a poll conducted in early October. The president’s disapproval rating stands at 51 percent, tying an all-time high for Obama.

In all, 41 percent of respondents say they have a less favorable opinion of the president since the 16 day government shutdown, compared to 21 percent who say they have a more favorable view since the shutdown.

The realization of the  freedom-destroying effects of the Marxist Healthcare Law, put into place by the empty suit who occupies Our House at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue, is definitely having an effect on “The Lightbringer’s” popularity numbers. Light bulbs are coming on in the craniums of even those Low Information Voters, who supported Obama for the last 5 years, as they begin to understand what average Americans here in the Heartland have known all along, concerning their “fallen messiah.”.

All hat. No cattle

During the Congressional hearing yesterday morning, Secretary Sibelius was overheard whining into an open mic,

Don’t do this to me.

That’s what average Americans have been saying for 5 years, Madame Secretary.

And, all we have to say to you and the Low Information Voters who are awakening to the duplicity of the Manchurian President they elected,is

Welcome to the “party”, pal!

Until He Comes,

Misplaced Priorities: America’s Jobless and the Push for Amnesty

UnemploymentAs the attention of Americans remains focused on the disaster known as Obamacare, another disaster has slipped by the public’s watchful eye.

CNSNews.com reports that

The number of Americans who are 16 years or older and who have decided not to participate in the nation’s labor force has climbed to a record 90,609,000 in September, according to data released today by the Bureau of Labor Statistics.

The BLS counts a person as participating in the labor force if they are 16 years or older and either have a job or have actively sought a job in the last four weeks. A person is not participating in the labor force if they are 16 or older and have not sought a job in the last four weeks.

In from July to August, according to BLS, Americans not participating in the labor force climbed from 89,957,000 to 90,473,000, pushing past 90,000,000 for the first time, with a one month increase of 516,000.

In September, it climbed again to 90,609,000, an increase of 136,000 during the month.

In January 2009, when President Barack Obama took office, there were 80,507,000 Americans not in the labor force. Thus, the number of Americans not in the labor force has increased by 10,102,000 during Obama’s presidency.

The labor force participation rate, which is the percentage of the non-institutionalized population 16 years or older who either have a job or actively sought one in the last four weeks, was 63.2 percent in September. That was unchanged from August.

When President Obama took office in January 2009, the labor force participation rate was 65.7 percent.

In other words, ladies and gentlemen, Americans have given up looking for jobs. And, this is a subject I know a little something about.

I used to work the Front Desk at a State-run Employment office.

While there, I was able to observe folks down on their luck, struggling to find work and survive in this economy.

I also saw American families, whose existence living on the Government Dole, had become generational.

It is these people whom Obama and the Democrats have hypnotized into believing that Uncle Sugar loves them, and is their only solution to surviving a stifling existence.

They are so, so wrong.

The strength and vitality of America does not come from the benevolence of a Nanny-state Federal Government.

As the greatest American President of our lifetime, Ronald Reagan said:

The nine words you never want to hear are:  I’m from the Government and I’m here to help.

Being enslaved to the Government Dole steals one’s ambition.  It takes away any impetus or desire to create a better life for yourself and your family, to challenge yourself to pick yourself up by your bootstraps and pursue the American Dream.  It makes you reliant on a politically motivated spider’s web full of government bureaucrats who view you and your family as job security.

I watched American citizens trapped in this web of government bureaucracy,  so numbed of any initiative that they once had, that they seemed offended that they actually had to prove that they inquired about three jobs that week in order to keep their “benefits”.  Others seemed puzzled that they had to search through the state data base and pick out a job that they wanted to talk to an interviewer about receiving a referral to, and weren’t just simply handed a job when they walked through the door.

So, yesterday’s news was not a huge surprise for me. With an Administration who positively revels in their growing control of American Citizens’ lives, cradle to grave, it is a fait accompli that the amount of people who forgo providing for their families by the sweat of their brow, to embrace “Free Lifetime Benefits” given so graciously to them by Uncle Sugar, should rise.

That being said, what is the Administration and the Vichy Republicans doing to correct this problem, and get America working again?

Answer: Absolutely Nothing (Say it again!)  The Administration and their “friends across the aisle are making plans to grant amnesty to 10 million Illegal Aliens, in a fight to see who can create more voters for their political party.

in fact, per  Breitbart.com,

According to Politico, pro-immigration reform groups will target House Republican leaders and over 20 Republicans they think are vulnerable on the issue. Their goal is to get a vote on immigration reform this year.

Republican mega-donor Paul Singer has teamed up with George Soros to finance pro-comprehensive immigration reform groups like the Evangelical Immigration Table, which released a letter on Monday urging lawmakers to support a pathway to citizenship, and the National Immigration Forum, which will also be mobilizing support.

The Fair Immigration Reform Movement, described as “an umbrella organization for an array of immigration rights groups nationwide,” will “intensify the pressure on House Speaker John Boehner (R-OH), Majority Leader Eric Cantor (R-VA) and Majority Whip Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) as well as 26 Republicans” representing districts with a significant number of minorities.

Both Political Parties need to realize that if they free up our Capitalist System to run in the manner in which is has for over 200 years, Americans will have jobs, their outlook will be more hopeful, and both parties will have happy voters. And then, they can decide what to do with the 10 million who have broken our country’s Immigration Laws.

Our American Leadership have misplaced priorities.

It’s still the economy, stupid.

The Republican Civil War: Bold Colors Vs. Pale Pastels

Cartoon-Cruz-Vs-Establishment-600Three years after the now-legendary Grassroots Movement known as “The Tea Party”, the Republican Party is in a state of disarray and discontent, to put it mildly. The Republican Establishment, or Vichy Republicans, as I have dubbed them, are desperately clinging to the Washingtonian Status Quo: reaching across the aisle, and going along to get along, known non-politically as “caving in”, while pushing potential Presidential Candidates for 2016 whose platforms are so similar to those of their potential Democrat Opponents are to be virtually indistinguishable.

Oblivious of their past failures (i.e., Dole, McCain, and Romney), while pursuing their milksop Political Philosophy, the Vichy Republicans, or GOPe, as an internet friend has named them, cling to their mission to hold onto their cushy Seats of Power, by playing an old, tired political game.

Make no mistake, they will defend the Washingtonian Status Quo to their last breath, and savage anyone who threatens it, with the help of their allies from “across the aisle”, the Democrats and their minions in the Main Stream media. Look at how they have attacked Former Alaskan Governor and Republican Vice-Presidential Candidate, Sarah Palin., and now the Republican Senator Ted Cruz of Texas.

They have called them both everything but Children of God.

However, they are not the first Conservative Republican Politicians to be attacked in this manner, in this generation.  That honor belonged to the greatest United States President in our lifetime.

On March 1, 1975, the Great Communicator and Future President of the United States, Ronald Wilson Reagan, spoke the following words at the 2nd Annual CPAC Convention. He may as well have been speaking yesterday.

I don ‘t know about you, but I am impatient with those Republicans who after the last election rushed into print saying, “We must broaden the base of our party” — when what they meant was to fuzz up and blur even more the differences between ourselves and our opponents.

It was a feeling that there was not a sufficient difference now between the parties that kept a majority of the voters away from the polls. When have we ever advocated a closed-door policy? Who has ever been barred from participating?

Our people look for a cause to believe in. Is it a third party we need, or is it a new and revitalized second party, raising a banner of no pale pastels, but bold colors which make it unmistakably clear where we stand on all of the issues troubling the people?

Let us show that we stand for fiscal integrity and sound money and above all for an end to deficit spending, with ultimate retirement of the national debt.

Let us also include a permanent limit on the percentage of the people’s earnings government can take without their consent.

Let our banner proclaim a genuine tax reform that will begin by simplifying the income tax so that workers can compute their obligation without having to employ legal help.

And let it provide indexing — adjusting the brackets to the cost of living — so that an increase in salary merely to keep pace with inflation does not move the taxpayer into a surtax bracket. Failure to provide this means an increase in government’s share and would make the worker worse off than he was before he got the raise.

Let our banner proclaim our belief in a free market as the greatest provider for the people. Let us also call for an end to the nit-picking, the harassment and over-regulation of business and industry which restricts expansion and our ability to compete in world markets.

Let us explore ways to ward off socialism, not by increasing government’s coercive power, but by increasing participation by the people in the ownership of our industrial machine.

Our banner must recognize the responsibility of government to protect the law-abiding, holding those who commit misdeeds personally accountable.

And we must make it plain to international adventurers that our love of peace stops short of “peace at any price.”

We will maintain whatever level of strength is necessary to preserve our free way of life.

A political party cannot be all things to all people. It must represent certain fundamental beliefs which must not be compromised to political expediency, or simply to swell its numbers.

I do not believe I have proposed anything that is contrary to what has been considered Republican principle. It is at the same time the very basis of conservatism. It is time to reassert that principle and raise it to full view. And if there are those who cannot subscribe to these principles, then let them go their way.

Timeless Advice.

Here’s some from ol’ KJ, if I may be so bold: you members of the Republican Establishment need to climb down off of your bar stools at the Congressional Country Club, and travel outside the Echo Chamber of the Beltway, where actual, average Americans are living paycheck-to-paycheck, trying to provide for their families, while attempting to make a better life for their children and grandchildren.

Come on down to Mississippi and sit a spell and have some barbecue, sweet tea, and ‘nana puddin’ with us average Americans, instead of hanging out with Obama at the White House and partaking of Arugula and Wagyu Beef.

You want to know why Folks like Sarah Palin, Mike Lee, and Ted Cruz are so popular with average, real-life Americans (as opposed to statistics in an anonymous poll)?

Check out the pictures from a week ago Saturday of the Veterans March on Washington. They were there, GOPe. Why weren’t you?

The Shutdown: The Blame is Obama’s. Period.

chickenlittleSo, will this be the day that Boehner or McConnell go ahead and end the Government Shutdown, capitulating to the Petulant President, completing the caving-in process and once again selling out the Conservative Base of the Republican Party?

Place your bets, ladies and gentlemen, because their failures yesterday sure weren’t from a lack of trying, as The New York Times reports…

With the federal government on the brink of a default, a House Republican effort to end the shutdown and extend the Treasury’s borrowing authority collapsed Tuesday night as a major credit agency warned that the United States was on the verge of a costly ratings downgrade.

After the failure of the House Republican leadership to find enough support for its latest proposal to end the fiscal crisis, the Senate’s Democratic and Republican leaders immediately restarted negotiations to find a bipartisan path forward. A spokesman for Senator Harry Reid of Nevada, the majority leader, said Mr. Reid was “optimistic that an agreement is within reach” with Senator Mitch McConnell of Kentucky, the Republican leader.

With so little time left, chances rose that a resolution would not be approved by Congress and sent to President Obama before Thursday, when the government is left with only its cash on hand to pay the nation’s bills.

“It’s very, very serious,” warned Senator John McCain, Republican of Arizona. “Republicans have to understand we have lost this battle, as I predicted weeks ago, that we would not b able to win because we were demanding something that was not achievable.”

A day that was supposed to bring Washington to the edge of resolving the fiscal showdown instead seemed to bring chaos and retrenching. And a bitter fight that had begun over stripping money from the president’s signature health care law had essentially descended in the House into one over whether lawmakers and their staff members would pay the full cost of their health insurance premiums, unlike most workers at American companies, and how to restrict the administration from using flexibility to extend the debt limit beyond a fixed deadline.

Even so, the House speaker, John A. Boehner, Republican of Ohio, and his leadership team failed in repeated, daylong attempts to bring their troops behind any bill that would reopen the government and extend the Treasury’s debt limit on terms significantly reduced from their original push against funding for the health care law. The House’s hard-core conservatives and some more pragmatic Republicans were nearing open revolt, and the leadership was forced twice to back away from proposals it had floated, the second time sending lawmakers home for the night to await a decision on how to proceed Wednesday.

So, as this new Soap Opera, “While Congress Turns”, proceeds, all attention has been diverted from the the individual who is actually responsible for this unholy mess, President Barack Hussein Obama (mm mmm mmmm).

His refusal to negotiate..about anything…was brought into focus yesterday by, of all people, Former CIA Director and Secretary of Defense, Leon Panetta (a Clinton Loyalist).speaking at a Breakfast Meeting

“We govern either by leadership or crisis. . . . If leadership is not there, then we govern by crisis,” Panetta said at the start of the session, sponsored by The Wall Street Journal. “Clearly, this town has been governing by crisis after crisis after crisis.”

Which raised the obvious question: What does this say about the president’s leadership?

Several observations ensued. “This town has gotten a lot meaner in the last few years.” Relationships have deteriorated. Redistricting into safe seats hasn’t helped. Neither has the explosion of money in campaigns, or the elimination of earmarks. (Negotiating one Clinton budget, Panetta recalled, “I think I sold about six bridges to get there.”)

Then, to Obama. “This president — he’s extremely bright, he’s extremely able, he’s somebody who I think certainly understands the issues, asks the right questions, and I think has the right instincts about what needs to be done for the country.”

Next came the “but” — without a name but with a clear message. “You have to engage in the process. This is a town where it’s not enough to feel you have the right answers. You’ve got to roll up your sleeves and you’ve got to really engage in the process . . . that’s what governing is all about.”

The difference between “Bubba” Clinton and “Scooter” Obama is a huge one. As Panetta points out, Bubba is a people person. Scooter is not. As long as Obama has himself, he will never be alone.

Bubba is the kind of guy whom, despite the fact that he’s a Liberal Democrat and morally reprehensible,  you could sit next to, at the counter at the Waffle House, and have a pleasant conversation with.

On the other hand, in Obama’s eyes, we are all filthy Capitalistic Colonials…oppressive, brutish people, whose antiquated system of ethics and values, based on American Christianity and Patriotism, needs to be “radically changed” by social experimentation, Executive Order, and huge, government-expanding laws, which nobody wants, such as the so-far-disastrous “Affordable Care Act”, passed in the middle of the night by a Congress, controlled by mindless minions, who, to this day, have no idea what is in the huge, horrible, life-changing bill that they passed.

The schadenfreude I have been experiencing, through watching the reactions of the young and dumb, when they realize that they are actually going to have to pay money for Obamacare Coverage, is priceless.

But, I digress…

I truly believe that Obama has never liked the concept of America. As others have written, he views our Blessed Land as being “just another flawed country”.

And now, having ascended to the Presidency, the punitive measures he has taken against our veterans and other citizens, by needlessly blocking admittance to our open-air National Parks and Monuments, show his true feelings toward the very Americans that he is supposed to be serving and protecting, in no uncertain terms.

As we head toward the “Fiscal Cliff”, if you want to know who the Head Lemming is…I’ll give you a clue: His name used to be Barry Soetoro.

The Shutdown: Clowns to the Left of Me…Jokers to the “Right”

clowncarAs the Government Shutdown wanes on, polls are coming out, seemingly every day, blaming the 17% Shutdown on Congress. Heck, some are even actually laying the blame on the shoulders of President Barack Hussein Obama, where is most certainly belongs.

As yesterday ended, Congress found themselves still without any sort of agreement, as the Wall Street Journal reports…

Top Senate leaders said they were within striking distance of an agreement Monday to reopen the federal government and defuse a looming debt crisis just days before the U.S. could run out of money to pay its bills.

Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D., Nev.) said on the Senate floor that the leaders had made “tremendous progress” toward a deal and that he was hopeful Tuesday would be a “bright day.” The Senate’s Republican leader, Mitch McConnell of Kentucky, seconded Mr. Reid’s optimism. “We’ve had a good day,” he said.

The White House postponed a planned afternoon meeting of congressional leaders with President Barack Obama, saying the schedule change would give Senate leaders time to hash out a deal.

The latest proposal would reopen the government at current spending levels until Jan. 15 and extend the federal borrowing limit until early February, according to aides familiar with the talks. Lawmakers also would begin longer-term negotiations on the budget, with the task of reaching an agreement by Dec. 13.

Even before the deal was unveiled, it provoked grumbling Monday night among restive House Republicans. Mr. McConnell said Monday he expected to “get a result that will be acceptable to both sides.”

By setting up yet another series of fiscal deadlines, the agreement, if embraced, would carry the hallmark of other deadline-driven deals that have become typical of the increasingly polarized Capitol.

“Everybody realizes that whatever happens, we’re going to be litigating this another day,” said Sen. John Thune of South Dakota, a member of the Senate GOP leadership.

…Republicans who entered the budget battle determined to gut the health law have steadily scaled back their demands in the face of Democratic resistance. Still, many could find it hard to accept the Senate proposal, especially if it makes no changes to the health law.

Some House Republicans would likely resist the deal, putting House Speaker John Boehner (R., Ohio) in a tight spot.

Mr. Boehner could face a rebellion from the House’s most fiscally conservative lawmakers, many of whom were elected with tea-party support. That would force Mr. Boehner to rely on Democrats to pass the Senate measure.

The lack of immediate spending cuts, as well as the absence of major changes to the health law, could prompt conservative opposition.

“I can’t vote for something that doesn’t have substantive spending cuts right now,” said Rep. Joe Barton (R., Texas).

Many House Republicans declined to comment until they saw the final Senate proposal. Some still were smarting from Mr. Obama’s decision to end discussions with them on Friday, which effectively sidelined the House GOP and accelerated talks in the Senate. The House offer abandoned many of the GOP’s initial policy demands. It would have raised the debt ceiling for six weeks without making other policy changes. But it didn’t appear to contain any explicit agreement to reopen the government immediately.

“We believed that we could have worked with the president,” said Rep. Pete Sessions (R., Texas) “and then the president dropped us like a hot potato.”

There is actually more animus from the House Republicans toward the RINOs in the Senate, than the WSJ alluded to, as Breitbart.com tells us…

Rep. Paul Ryan (R-WI), chair of the House Budget Committee, told conservative talk radio host Charlie Sykes Monday morning that House Republicans had demanded a one-year delay in Obamacare’s individual mandate, along with an end to congressional exemptions, while offering a six-week debt ceiling hike to allow room for negotiations on broader budget issues. The offer was made to President Barack Obama last Thursday.

President Obama, said Ryan, listened but declined to respond. In the meantime, Ryan said, it became clear the president was negotiating separately to obtain more favorable terms from Senate Republicans, trying to “jam” the House Republicans in the process. Ryan told Sykes that Obama and Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid had “overplayed their hand” in attempting to prolong the crisis to maximize political damage to Republicans.

Ryan described the delay to the individual mandate as an “obvious” step to take, given that technical issues with the Obamacare exchanges might prevent the mandate from being enforced at all. “We could have spent the weekend putting an agreement together that says we’re gonna deal with the debt, we’re gonna deal with this economy, and we’re gonna fix these big flaws in Obamacare, or at least give people delays in these penalties.”

While Ryan actually makes a good point, concerning delaying the Individual Mandate, that is like using a slingshot to bring down an elephant.

The fact of the matter is that Americans do not want Obamacare…period…as proven by the fact that only 51,000 nationally, signed up for Obamacare in its first week.

That is less Americans than attend a College or Professional Football Game.

Evidently, the Manchurian President feels like he can more easily con the old RINO’s in the Senate, like McConnell, McCain, and Graham, who have been publicly bashing Conservatives for a while now, including the last week, than he can Cryin’ John and Company, in the House.

Meanwhile, average Americans, like you and me, are forced to watch these clowns and jokers, as they hurl accusations at one another, making Capital Hill and the White House sound more like a Daycare Center, rather than the Seat of Government.

Judging from the fact that Obama is the one who refuses to negotiate…

I’d say that somebody needs a nap.

The Shutdown: Obama Stonewalls. Vichy Republicans Plot Their Surrender. Who Speaks for Average Americans?

Cartoon-Cruz-Vs-Establishment-600I’m sitting here, facing the reality of an imminent GOP”strategic surrender” to President Barack Hussein Obama’s demands, regarding ending the 17% Shutdown of the Federal Government.

Evidently, House Speaker John Boehner and the rest of the Vichy Republicans actually believed the obviously rigged NBC/Washington Post poll showing that more of the country sided with the Democrats on the issue of the Shutdown.

It turns out that the poll included not only the usual oversampling of Democrats, it also included a 20% sample of Government Employees.

Heck yeah, they’re going to support the Democrats’ side. They, like the rest of us in the Obama Economy, need their jobs.

The Republicans, themselves, are another issue.

There is a schism in the Grand Old Party, which is about to blow wide open.

Ever since 2010, when a groundswell of average Americans, like you and me, bonded together in our disgust over our out-of-control Federal Government, and the Progressive Politicians on both sides of the aisle, responsible for the situation, and voted a lot of the bums out of office, replacing them with Conservative Public Servants, the Old Guard Establishment Republicans has been solidifying their power. At the same time, in conjunction with Obama and the Democrats, and their lap-dogs in the MSM, they have publicly ridiculed and isolated the Tea Party and the Conservative Representatives and Senators whom we elected.

The difference between these ‘Vichy Republicans” and “Tea Party” or Reagan Republicans, can be clarified if we focus on two Senators,:  John McCain of Arizona and Ted Cruz of Texas.

Politico.com reports that

Sen. John McCain said Wednesday that there was never a chance of defunding Obamacare, blaming politicians who said it was possible for the current government shutdown.

“We started this on a fool’s errand, convincing so many millions of Americans and our supporters that we could defund Obamacare,” McCain (R-Ariz.) told Wolf Blitzer on CNN. “[That] obviously wouldn’t happen until we had 67 Republican senators to override a presidential veto.”

McCain stopped short of naming any of his colleagues specifically when asked who was to blame for the shutdown, but he did say that he believes those who initially advocated for tying the president’s signature health care law to budget negotiations were responsible.

“[It was] the people that convinced so many millions of Americans, tea partiers specifically we’re talking about, that there was some way to defund Obamacare. We can’t,” McCain said.

Negotiations to end the government shutdown have become entangled with discussions over the debt ceiling in recent days. According to the Treasury, the debt ceiling must be lifted by Oct. 17 to avoid a default on the government’s debt.

That deadline has been questioned by conservatives who insist incoming daily revenues will allow the government to continue paying interest on its debt, thereby avoiding a default altogether.

McCain stressed that such an option could still be disastrous.

“Technically they may be correct, because there are tax revenues coming in,” McCain said. “But I know some people on Wall Street that are telling me that the markets would react in a very, very negative fashion.

Concerning Cruz, the Boston Globe reported that

Hours before he and other Senate Republicans were scheduled to meet with President Obama at the White House on Friday, Senator Ted Cruz, the Tea Party firebrand from Texas, called upon Republican House members to stand strong in their fight against “Obamacare.”

Federal power has exploded under the Obama administration, Cruz declared at the Value Voters Summit at the Omni Shoreham Hotel in Washington, a gathering of social conservatives.

“None of us knows what is going to happen on this Obamacare fight right now. In my view the House of Representatives needs to keep doing what it’s doing, which is standing strong!” Cruz exhorted to wild applause.

“That is the model for every other fight,” Cruz said. “We need no more Washington solutions. We need to go back to the American people.”

Cruz pumped up the crowd from the stage, telling them that they – not him or any other elected official – have the power to stop the health law. “It is because of you that the House of Representatives has been standing strong, because the House has been listening to the people,” he said.

“The nice thing is the left will always, always, always tell you who they fear, and they fear you,” Cruz said. “They fear the American people. The fundamental problem in Washington is Washington is not listening to America.”

Cruz blamed the White House for the impasse as the shutdown entered its 11th day and the government is less than a week from the Oct 17 deadline to raise its borrowing limit or face a government default and resulting economic calamity .

“The Democrats are feeling the heat,” Cruz said. Noting that he planned to head to the White House Friday with other Senate Republicans to meet with the president, he joked: “If I am never seen again, please send a search and rescue team.”

Others scheduled to speak to the faith-based activists include Senators Paul Ryan, Rand Paul and Marco Rubio, as well as Representative Michele Bachmann. The summit is often seen as a platform for potential Republican presidential contenders.

Someone once wrote that power is an aphrodisiac…and total power corrupts totally.

I find the words and actions of McCain, Boehner, McConnell, Ryan, Graham, and the rest of the Vichy Republicans quite revealing. They are blindly determined to sell out their constituency, in order to preserve the status quo in Washington, and therefore, hang on to their Seats of Power.

They believe that by selling out, they will keep their “seats at the table”.

That is why Senator Ted Cruz and the rest of the Tea Party Conservatives scare the Hell out of Progressives on both sides of the aisle, and in the Main Stream Media, as well.

True Public Servants like Cruz, Mike Lee, and Rand Paul, are a threat to those who roam the Beltway Halls of Power with impunity. Their servants’ hearts and their forthrightness, are anathema to the Good Ol’ Boys and Girls. who have made a lucrative, self-serving career off of the American Citizenry whom they are supposed to be serving and protecting.

Just as turning on the light in the kitchen makes the cockroaches scatter for cover, the speaking of the truth by Tea Party Conservatives, makes the Old Guard Republicans close ranks, and then lash out, in a desperate attempt at self-preservation. While at the same time, continuing to “reach across the aisle”, in continuation of the Washingtonian Status Quo.

Leaving American Citizens to pick up the tab.

Until He Comes,

KJ
