My 1,600th Blog: Making Sense of a “Ball of Confusion”

As I sit down to write today, the world all around us continues to unravel. Israel and the Muslim Terrorist Organization, Hamas, are engaged in a bloody conflict. Russian is in the process of annexing all of the Eastern European countries it lost during the dissolution of the old Soviet Union. Europe is being invaded by Muslim Immigrants, seeking to establish Sharia Law in their “new homes”.

Meanwhile, here in the Land of the Free and the Home of the Brave, the petulant prevaricator, who won the last two elections by promising FREE STUFF to the 47% of Americans dependent on Uncle Sugar for their very existence, is well into “radically changing” “the Shining City Upon a Hill” into a Third World Barrio.

In 1970, the world, including our Sovereign Nation, was also in turmoil, as one generation clashed with another over social mores and the “antiquated concepts” of Right and Wrong.

Out of that tumultuous time, came a lot of great songs chronicling what was happening, none better than the classic song ” Ball of Confusion”, performed by the mighty, mighty Temptations.

Taking keyboard in hand, I channeled my inner “David Ruffin” and penned some new lyrics for the mess we find ourselves in today.

As a Christian American Conservative, trying to understand the cavalier attitude toward the world crumbling around them, by those whose political ideology and morality lies on the “other side” of the Political aisle, makes my head hurt.

Being an average American, having been raised by members of the Greatest Generation, I cannot fathom not worshiping the God of Abraham, Who numbered the hairs on my head. I cannot fathom not saying the Pledge of Allegiance with my hand over my heart (Yes, Mrs. Obama, all this for a flag.). And, I cannot comprehend how anybody, being privileged to live in America, could believe that there is a better country on the face of God’s green Earth.

A while back, I was asked to define what it means to be a Christian American Conservative. After all, that’s how I identify myself and that is what it says on the top of this blog.

Let’s perform a dissection, shall we?

First word: Christian – A follower of Jesus Christ.

I was raised as a Christian by my parents and accepted Christ as my personal Savior many years ago.

Here are some interesting things about Christianity to consider, written by Dr. Ray Pritchard and posted on christianity.com:

1) The name “Christian” was not invented by early Christians. It was a name given to them by others.
2) Christians called themselves by different names—disciples, believers, brethren, saints, the elect, etc.
3) The term apparently had a negative meaning in the beginning: “those belonging to the Christ party.”
4) It was a term of contempt or derision.
5) We can get a flavor for it if we take the word “Christ” and keep that pronunciation. You “Christ-ians.”
6) It literally means “Christ-followers.”
7) Over time a derogatory term became a positive designation.
8) Occasionally you will hear someone spit the term out in the same way it was used in the beginning. “You Christians think you’re the only ones going to heaven.”
9) There was a sense of suffering and reproach attached to the word in the New Testament.

In working my way toward an answer to “What is a Christian?” I decided to check out the dictionary. I found these two definitions:

1. One who professes belief in Jesus as Christ or follows the religion based on the life and teachings of Jesus. 2. One who lives according to the teachings of Jesus.”

That’s actually quite helpful because it gives some content to the word. To be a Christian means that you . . .

Believe Something
Follow Something
Live Something

A Fully Devoted Follower – To borrow a contemporary phrase, we could simply say that a Christian is a “fully devoted follower of Jesus.” As I think about that, two insights come to mind.

1) It doesn’t happen by accident. You are not “born” a Christian nor are you a Christian because of your family heritage. Being a Christian is not like being Irish. You aren’t a Christian simply because you were born into a Christian family.
2) It requires conversion of the heart. By using the term “conversion,” I simply mean what Jesus meant when he said that to be his disciple meant to deny yourself, take up your cross and follow him (Luke 9:23). The heart itself must be changed so that you become a follower of the Lord.

Second word: American – A citizen of the United States of America.

Stephen M. Warchawsky, wrote the following in an article foramericanthinker.org:

So what, then, does it mean to be an American? I suspect that most of us believe, like Supreme Court Justice Potter Stewart in describing pornography, that we “know it when we see it.” For example, John Wayne, Amelia Earhart, and Bill Cosby definitely are Americans. The day laborers standing on the street corner probably are not. But how do we put this inner understanding into words? It’s not easy. Unlike most other nations on Earth, the American nation is not strictly defined in terms of race or ethnicity or ancestry or religion. George Washington may be the Father of Our Country (in my opinion, the greatest American who ever lived), but there have been in the past, and are today, many millions of patriotic, hardworking, upstanding Americans who are not Caucasian, or Christian, or of Western European ancestry. Yet they are undeniably as American as you or I (by the way, I am Jewish of predominantly Eastern European ancestry). Any definition of “American” that excludes such folks — let alone one that excludes me! — cannot be right.

…it must be recognized that demography alone does not, and cannot, explain what it means to be an American.

So where does that leave us? I think the answer to our question, ultimately, must be found in the realms of ideology and culture. What distinguishes the United States from other nations, and what unites the disparate peoples who make up our country, are our unique political, economic, and social values, beliefs, and institutions.Not race, or religion, or ancestry.

The following United States Oath of Citizenship must be taken by all immigrants who wish to become naturalized citizens of the United States:

I hereby declare, on oath,

that I absolutely and entirely renounce and abjure all allegiance and fidelity to any foreign prince, potentate, state, or sovereignty of whom or which I have heretofore been a subject or citizen;
that I will support and defend the Constitution and laws of the United States of America against all enemies, foreign and domestic;
that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same;
that I will bear arms on behalf of the United States when required by law;
that I will perform noncombatant service in the Armed Forces of the United States when required by the law;
that I will perform work of national importance under civilian direction when required by the law;
and that I take this obligation freely without any mental reservation or purpose of evasion; so help me God.
In acknowledgement whereof I have hereunto affixed my signature.

Third word: Conservative -A person who holds to traditional values and attitudes.

J. Matt Barber wrote in the Washington Times that

Ronald Reagan often spoke of a “three-legged stool” that undergirds true conservatism. The legs are represented by a strong defense, strong free-market economic policies and strong social values. For the stool to remain upright, it must be supported by all three legs. If you snap off even one leg, the stool collapses under its own weight.

A Republican, for instance, who is conservative on social and national defense issues but liberal on fiscal issues is not a Reagan conservative. He is a quasi-conservative socialist.

A Republican who is conservative on fiscal and social issues but liberal on national defense issues is not a Reagan conservative. He is a quasi-conservative dove.

By the same token, a Republican who is conservative on fiscal and national defense issues but liberal on social issues – such as abortion, so-called gay rights or the Second Amendment – is not a Reagan conservative. He is a socio-liberal libertarian.

Put another way: A Republican who is one part William F. Buckley Jr., one part Oliver North and one part Rachel Maddow is no true conservative. He is – well, I’m not exactly sure what he is, but it ain’t pretty.

Even the Brits understand what American Conservatism is.

Conservatism is thriving in America today because liberty, freedom and individual responsibility are at the heart of its ideology, one that rejects the foolish notion that government knows best. And its strength owes a great debt to the conviction and ideals of Ronald Reagan, who always believed that America’s best days are ahead of her, and for whom the notion of decline was unacceptable. As the Gipper famously put it, in a speech to the Conservative Political Action Conference in 1988:

Those who underestimate the conservative movement are the same people who always underestimate the American people.

In conclusion, I, a Christian American Conservative, am a follower of Jesus Christ and a citizen of the United States of America (by the Grace of God), who holds to traditional values and attitudes.

When I started this blog, in April of 2010, I did not know what I was going to write about, I just knew that I needed to vent. And vent, I have. On this, the occasion of my 1,600th post, I wish to thank you, my faithful readers, for your support.

You will never know how much it means to me.

The War Against Christianity: Living Under The Tyranny of the Minority

As I was trying to choose what to write about on this hot, Mississippi Morning, a hard, cold fact struck my simple mind: We are living in a country that continues to suffer under the tyranny of a minority.

Not a racial minority, mind you, but an ideological one.

76 % of Americans still self-identify as being Christians.

And yet, we are under attack daily, from the Main Stream Media, Cable and Satellite Television Programs, Social Media, and the current President of the United States of America and his Administration.

As Rev. Franklin Graham, the head of Samaritan’s Purse and the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association, declares in the August-September Edition of Decision Magazine, “Heaven is not for cowards!”

“Christians cannot ignore parts of God’s Word because they are unpopular or cause division. Our commission is to proclaim Christ and all He stands for,” wrote Graham.

“This is what the church’s presence in the world is all about. We cannot sincerely proclaim the truth of God’s love while ignoring what He hates, and God hates sin.”

Graham also stressed the need for “godly courage” and for Christians to speak out against abortion and homosexuality.

“We are soldiers in God’s army, and we cannot stand down on biblical issues out of fear of being labeled a homophobe or judge,” wrote Graham.

“People make judgments every day. The world’s system passes judgments accepted by governments and citizens. But the world considers Christian judgment to be biased, judgmental and intolerant,” he added.

In a column published in the July-August edition of Decision magazine, the head of Samaritan’s Purse and the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association, declared that “Heaven is not for cowards!”

Rev. Graham is spot on.

I can testify from personal experience, having caught flack for sticking to my Christian American Conservative Principles, since beginning my daily posts on this blog in April of 2010.

My posts, concerning American Christianity, seem to “touch a nerve” in both Liberals and Atheists, alike. (But, in at least some cases, I repeat myself.)

Their reaction has hardly been unexpected.

Of course, one of the Hot Button Issues, which those Liberals and Atheists who responded, over the years, immediately denied, was that our Founding Fathers were Christians and that our country was founded on a Judeo-Christian Belief System.

Evidently, they had never read anything, except what their like-minded, non-believing soothsayers, allowed them to. Or else, they would have read historical documents like President George Washington’s Thanksgiving Day Proclamation, written on November 1, 1777, and found at wallbuilders.com:

The committee appointed to prepare a recommendation to the several states, to set apart a day of public thanksgiving, brought in a report; which was taken into consideration, and agreed to as follows:

Forasmuch as it is the indispensable duty of all men to adore the superintending providence of Almighty God; to acknowledge with gratitude their obligation to him for benefits received, and to implore such farther blessings as they stand in need of; and it having pleased him in his abundant mercy not only to continue to us the innumerable bounties of his common providence, but also smile upon us in the prosecution of a just and necessary war, for the defense and establishment of our unalienable rights and liberties; particularly in that he hath been pleased in so great a measure to prosper the means used for the support of our troops and to crown our arms with most signal success:

And it is further recommended, that servile labor, and such recreation as, though at other times innocent, may be unbecoming the purpose of this appointment, be omitted on so solemn an occasion.

Of course, the Poster Boy for the claim by Liberal/Atheist responders, concerning the Founders’ lack of Christianity, is Thomas Jefferson.

Atheists like to bring up the fact that he wrote a version of the Bible which left out Christ’s miracles. What they are reluctant to do, though, is explain why he wrote his book that way. David Barton explains on wallbuilders.com:

The reader [of a newspaper article which Barton is replying to], as do many others, claimed that Jefferson omitted all miraculous events of Jesus from his “Bible.” Rarely do those who make this claim let Jefferson speak for himself. Jefferson’s own words explain that his intent for that book was not for it to be a “Bible,” but rather for it to be a primer for the Indians on the teachings of Christ (which is why Jefferson titled that work, “The Life and Morals of Jesus of Nazareth”). What Jefferson did was to take the “red letter” portions of the New Testament and publish these teachings in order to introduce the Indians to Christian morality. And as President of the United States, Jefferson signed a treaty with the Kaskaskia tribe wherein he provided—at the government’s expense—Christian missionaries to the Indians. In fact, Jefferson himself declared, “I am a real Christian, that is to say, a disciple of the doctrines of Jesus.” While many might question this claim, the fact remains that Jefferson called himself a Christian, not a deist.

The Eight Per Centers (Atheists) and young and/or misinformed Liberals, who replied to my blogs, insisted that Crosses and other Chrstian symbols have no place in the Public Square. They wish for Christians to remain unseen and unheard from, worshiping in private.

Unfortunately for them, The First Amendment to the Constitution still holds.

Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.

So, y’all can wish for a unicorn to magically appear in your backyard…but that ain’t gonna happen, either.

As a free nation, all you who are non-believers have every right to your lack of faith…which, is actually a faith unto itself.

And, the overwhelming majority in this country, Christian Americans, will continue to exercise ours.

The Illegal Alien Invasion: Obama Preparing to Grant “Temporary Legal Status” By Executive Order

In the first place, we should insist that if the immigrant who comes here in good faith becomes an American and assimilates himself to us, he shall be treated on an exact equality with everyone else, for it is an outrage to discriminate against any such man because of creed, or birthplace, or origin. This past week has witnessed the ongoing Illegal Alien Invasion, occurring on our Southern Border, showing no signs of abating, despite the rhetoric and empty promises of United States President Barack Hussein Obama. In fact, word has come out that Obama and his Administration are considering flying illegal immigrants directly out of the country of Honduras, to our Sovereign Nation, basically cutting out the “Middle Man”, and, at the same time, bypassing normal Legal Immigration Procedure.

However, wait a minute, folks. You ain’t seen nothin’, yet!

Time.com reports that

The President may be preparing to provide temporary legal status [which will , of course, lead to permanent legal status] to millions of undocumented immigrants

When President Obama issues executive orders on immigration in coming weeks, pro-reform activists are expecting something dramatic: temporary relief from deportation and work authorization for perhaps several million undocumented immigrants. If the activists are right, the sweeping move would upend a contentious policy fight and carry broad political consequences.

The activists met privately with the President and his aides June 30 at the White House, and say in that meeting Obama suggested he will act before the November midterm elections. They hope his decision will offer relief to a significant percentage of the estimated 11.7 million undocumented immigrants in the U.S. “He seems resolute that he’s going to go big and go soon,” says Frank Sharry, executive director of the pro-reform group America’s Voice.

Exactly what Obama plans to do is a closely held secret. But following the meeting with the activists, Obama declared his intention to use his executive authority to reform parts of a broken immigration system that has cleaved families and hobbled the economy. After being informed by Speaker John Boehner that the Republican-controlled House would not vote on a comprehensive overhaul of U.S. immigration law this year, the President announced in a fiery speech that he was preparing “to do what Congress refuses to do, and fix as much of our immigration system as we can.”

Obama has been cautious about preempting Congress. But its failure to act has changed his thinking. The recent meeting “was really the first time we had heard from the administration that they are looking at” expanding a program to provide temporary relief from deportations and work authorization for undocumented immigrants, says Marielena Hincapié, executive director of the National Immigration Law Center.

The White House won’t comment on how many undocumented immigrants could be affected. “I don’t want to put a number on it,” says a senior White House official, who says Obama’s timeline to act before the mid-term elections remains in place.

Obama has a broad menu of options at his disposal, but there are two major sets of changes he can order. The first is to provide affirmative relief from deportation to one or more groups of people. Under this mechanism, individuals identified as “low-priority” threats can come forward to seek temporary protection from deportation and work authorization. In 2012, the administration created a program, Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA), that allowed eligible young unauthorized immigrants to apply for a two-year reprieve from deportation and a work permit.

The most aggressive option in this category would be expanding deferred action to anyone who could have gained legal status under the bipartisan bill that passed the Senate in June 2013. According to a Congressional Budget Office analysis, the Senate bill would have covered up to 8 million undocumented immigrants. It is unlikely that Obama goes that far. But even more modest steps could provide relief to a population numbering in the seven figures. “You can get to big numbers very quickly,” says Marshall Fitz, director of immigration policy at the Center for American Progress, a progressive think tank.

One plausible option would be to expand DACA to include some family members of those already eligible. Says a Congressional aide: “While there are several options to provide temporary deportation relief, we expect an expansion of the DACA program to other groups of individuals to be the most clear opportunity.”

It’s hard to pin down how many people this would cover; it would depend on how the administration crafts the order. But the numbers are substantial. According to the CBO, there are an estimated 4.7 million undocumented parents with a minor child living in the U.S., and 3.8 million whose children are citizens. Around 1.5 million undocumented immigrants are married to a U.S. citizen or lawful resident, but have been unable to gain legal status themselves.

Obama could also decide to grant protections for specific employment categories, such as the 1 million or so undocumented immigrants working in the agricultural sector, or to ease the visa restrictions hindering the recruitment of high-skilled foreign workers to Silicon Valley. Either move would please centrist and conservative business lobbies, who have joined with the left to press for comprehensive reform, and might help temper the blowback.

The second bucket of changes Obama is considering are more modest enforcement reforms. Jeh Johnson, Obama’s Secretary of Homeland Security, is deep into a review of the administration’s enforcement practices, and it is likely Obama will order some changes to immigration enforcement priorities. But if these tweaks are the extent of the changes, it would be a blow to activists expecting more. “That’s crumbs off the table compared to the meal we’d be expecting,” says Sharry.

Why is Obama purposefully weakening our Sovereign Nation by intentionally bypassing our Immigration Laws? Is he bringing over learned people? No. Is he bringing over businessmen? No. Is he bringing over tradesmen? No. Is he bringing over craftsmen? No.

Is President Barack Hussein Obama bringing over any illegals, who will immediately be productive members of American Society?

No.

Then, there must be another explanation.

Vladimir Ilyich Lenin rose to power during a time of economic plight in Russia, which was perceived as being the result of a greedy upper class. In order to depose the Czar and his government, Lenin had to solidify the “have-nots”, the Mentsheviks and the Bolsheviks, into his own private army, designed to usher in his “Glorious Revolution”.

Today, in 2014, Obama, voted by the American People, the “Worst president Since World War II”, finds himself is a rapidly weakening position of power.

His popularity is swirling down the ol’ porcelain receptacle, and even his own party members are trying to distance themselves from him.

His only hope to retain his power base is to create, politically, his own”private army” of Democrat voters, composed of, as Mitt Romney called them, “the 47%” of Americans dependent on Uncle Sugar and these new illegal aliens, whom he has been whisking off, via governmental transport, to be dispersed throughout the country, where, within a couple of years, they will be old enough to vote.

By ginning up the dependent base already here…and growing…due to this new influx of illegals…to push Congress to support Obama in passing Amnesty, Obama is creating his own “Revolutionary Army” of potential Democrat Voters, to fulfill his promise of “rapidly changing” America as we know it.

Obama is intentionally bypassing the normal process of legal Immigration, including one very important part,, which all immigrants, who wish to be Americans must pledge:

I hereby declare, on oath, that I absolutely and entirely renounce and abjure all allegiance and fidelity to any foreign prince, potentate, state, or sovereignty, of whom or which I have heretofore been a subject or citizen; that I will support and defend the Constitution and laws of the United States of America against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; that I will bear arms on behalf of the United States when required by the law; that I will perform noncombatant service in the Armed Forces of the United States when required by the law; that I will perform work of national importance under civilian direction when required by the law; and that I take this obligation freely, without any mental reservation or purpose of evasion; so help me God.

A little over a month after I started Kingjester’s Blog, on May 18, 2010, a young man named Benito wrote me to me in the comments section. Benito, an activist for the cause of Illegal Immigration, insisted that the situation of people iin this country illegally, was once of “Civil Rights”. This is how I responded to him:

Benito, I approved your comment to ask you a few questions. First, you write very well. Next, a few questions. What part of the word “illegal” do you not understand? What makes the current influx of illegal immigrants exempt from the rules and regulations that every other generation of immigrants to this country had to abide by in order to become legal citizens of the greatest nation in the world? By being here illegally, you are not entitled to the same rights as natural-born or naturalized American citizens. You are no better than someone who breaks into someone’s home, does their dishes, cuts their yard, cleans their house, and then helps themselves to their food and drives their car without asking. This is in no way a human rights issue. Freedom is God-given. And with freedom comes responsibility. With citizenship comes responsibility, like paying taxes and making your own way. Illegal immigration reminds me of the amorous boyfriend who wants everything a young woman will give him, but will leave her at the first mention of marriage. I wish you no ill, amigo, but understand this: This is not a civil rights issue. Illegals do not have the same rights as American Citizens. Obama: America’s Semi-Retired President

A lot of Americans, as they become older and more established in their professional lives, enter a state of “semi-retirement”.

This is a time of their life, when they do not have to work 60 hour weeks in order to pay the bills, and, therefore, on beautiful, sunny days, these American businessmen can often be found with their fellows out of the golf course, or sipping a libation in “the 19th Green”.

It is a perk that they believe that they have earned for “a job well done”.

Evidently, the President of the United States of America believes that he has reached the pinnacle of his “career” as well, even though he has never worked at a legitimate job in his entire life of sponsored privilege.

As I have chronicled, our country is being invaded by illegal aliens, carrying with them gang affiliations and diseases, such as tuberculosis and scabies. Obama has done nothing to stem this flow of “undocumented immigrants” into our Sovereign Nation. On the contrary, he has fed them and then, transported them all across our country, placing them in position to be future Democrat Voters.

Also, domestically, Obama has signed an Executive Order stating that any American Religious Institution, which accepts taxpayer money from the Federal Government, may not “discriminate” against Lesbians, Gays, Bisexuals, or Transvestites.

Meanwhile, over 92,000,000 Americans have become so depressed over trying to find meaningful employment in Obama’s stagnant economy, that they have simply dropped out of the American Work Force.

At the same time, as Israel defends their own sovereignty, by launching a strike against the forces of Hamas, who had built tunnels for their own nefarious purposes in the Gaza Strip, Obama and his Secretary of State, John Kerry, call for a cease-fire, refusing to acknowledge that Hamas is using Palestinian children as human shields.

Additionally, regarding “Smart Power!”, Obama’s failed Foreign Policy, boxcars full of stacked human remains from Malaysian Airlines Flight MH17, are leaving the site where Russian-Armed Ukrainian Separatists shot it out of the sky, killing all aboard.

Obama’s response?

A sternly worded speech.

I am sure Putin is beside himself with fear.

With all of this going on, in America and around the world, one would think that a Responsible American President would keep his had firmly on the helm of the Ship of State.

Not Obama. He’s a success…in his own mind.

It’s time for some more fundraising for the Democrats! After all…a man has to have priorities.

Facing dueling foreign policy crises abroad, President Barack Obama is fending off criticism at home as he heads to the West Coast tomorrow for a three-day fundraising swing for Democratic candidates.

At events in Seattle, Silicon Valley and Los Angeles, the president will mingle with Hollywood stars and technology moguls. The political events, scheduled weeks ago, come as Obama works to contain a growing conflict in Gaza and the fallout from a crash of a Malaysian passenger jet in Ukraine.

White House officials defended Obama’s decision to stick with his schedule, saying the president travels with a mobile White House that allows him to do his job from the road.

“If it becomes clear that there’s a need for him to come back to the White House, in order to fulfill those functions, then we’ll make a change in his schedule,” White House spokesman Josh Earnest told reporters today. “Right now, it’s not apparent that that’s the case.”

Now, you see “The Importance of Being Earnest” (That’s a pun, son.)

His job qualification is that he can spout all of that prevaricating spin with a straight face.

He learned how to do that from the Prevaricator-in-Chief.

Speaking of The Lightbringer…

If you think that Obama cares that the majority of Americans think that he’s the worst American President since World War II, you would be mistaken.

During a Townhall Meeting yesterday, during which Obama spoke to a hand-picked crowd of young people, he explained to them how he handles criticism…

“I just don’t watch TV,” Obama joked, after he was asked about his critics during a town hall promoting the White House “My Brother’s Keeper” initiative.

Obama advised young people to listen to critics who actually had their interests at heart.

“Who gives you constructive criticism because they’re invested in the same things you are but maybe can see the things you can’t, versus folks who are just — what’d someone say — hatin’? Somebody just hatin’, just haters?” Obama said.

Obama said that people should only focus on “constructive criticism.”

“One thing you should learn is, if somebody is being constructive in their criticism, usually they are not criticizing you, they’re criticizing your actions and what you do and are giving you something specific,” Obama said.

Obama used a basketball metaphor to explain himself, comparing a coach who has specific goals for players versus a coach that tells a player they’re no good.

“If they can’t, if all they’re saying is, ‘You’re not worth nothin,’ then that’s probably not something that you want to pay a lot of attention to,” Obama said. “Does that make sense?”

There is one problem with your logic, Scooter:

You can’t ignore us.You work for us…not the other way around.

We, your bosses, did not give you permission to be “semi-retired”.

If you can not handle the full-time job you were elected to do, perhaps it is time you took some more time off to get out and raise money for the Democrat Party.

Malaysian Airlines Flight mh370/Korean Airlines 007…Obama/Reagan…a Fundraiser/an American President

Yesterday, the long-simmering conflict between Russia and Ukraine took a new and horribly deadly turn, causing 23 Americans to lose their lives .

The CBS Affiliate in Washington has details

A Malaysia Airlines passenger plane carrying 298 people was shot down over eastern Ukraine on Thursday as it flew over the country, and both the government and the pro-Russia separatists fighting in the region denied any responsibility for downing the plane.

An earlier tally of 295 dead was raised to include three infants in an official list of passengers released by Malaysia Airlines. The bulk of the passengers were from the Netherlands — 154 people. Next highest was 45 from Malaysia and 27 from Australia.

CBS News confirms the Boeing 777 was shot down by a missile as it flew at 33,000 feet over the war zone in Ukraine, but it is not clear where the missile was fired from.

Russian President Vladimir Putin said Ukraine “bears responsibility” for the crash because the plane was brought down in the country.

“This tragedy would not have happened, if there had been peace on that land, or in any case if military operations in southeastern Ukraine had not been renewed,” Putin said in televised comments, according to Reuters.

Wreckage and bodies are spread over several miles along the flight path, CBS News correspondent Bob Orr reports. That would be consistent with the plane being ripped apart by aerodynamic forces after the aircraft was penetrated by a high explosive projectile.

As plumes of black smoke rose up near a rebel-held village of Grabovo, an Associated Press journalist counted at least 22 bodies at the wreckage site 25 miles from the Russian border.

A Russian news report said pro-Russia rebels intend to call a three-day cease-fire to allow for an investigation into the crash and recovery efforts.

Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko called the downing an act of terrorism and called for an international investigation into the crash. He insisted that his forces did not shoot down the plane.

The government of Ukraine said in a statement Thursday afternoon that it has evidence that the Russian military was involved in the crash.

And, what did the President of the United States do about this tragedy? Did he come on National Television last night in remembrance of those 23 Americans who lost their lifes and, assure the nation that their deaths would not be in vain?

Are you kidding me?

President Barack Obama made his first comments Thursday on the Malaysia Airlines crash in Ukraine, saying the incident “looks like it may be a terrible tragedy.”

The president did not confirm any details of the crash and said he has asked his aides to keep in contact with Ukrainian officials. The administration is “working to determine whether there were American citizens on board; that is our first priority.”

Obama’s remarks came at the start of a speech at the Port of Wilmington in Wilmington, Delaware, before he moved on to his planned remarks on boosting infrastructure spending.

…After his speech in Wilmington, Obama is headed to New York for two closed-press fundraisers, one for the Democratic National Committee and another for House Majority PAC.

Evidently, 23 dead Americans are not as important to this President of the United States, as raising money for his fellow Democrats, speaking in front of hand-picked adoring crowds.

Pi-ti-ful…and disgusting.

On September 5, 1983, President Ronald Reagan addressed the nation, concerning another incident like yesterday’s, which involved Russia. Korean Air Lines Flight 007 was a scheduled Korean Air Lines flight from New York City to Seoul via Anchorage. On September 1, 1983, the airliner serving the flight was shot down by a Soviet Su-15 interceptor near Moneron Island, west of Sakhalin Island, in the Sea of Japan. The interceptor’s pilot was Major Gennadi Osipovich. All 269 passengers and crew aboard were killed, including Lawrence McDonald, representative from Georgia in the United States House of Representatives. The aircraft was en route from Anchorage to Seoul when it flew through prohibited Soviet airspace around the time of a U.S. reconnaissance mission.

Here is an excerpt of President Ronald Reagan’s televised speech to the nation:

My fellow Americans:

I’m coming before you tonight about the Korean airline massacre, the attack by the Soviet Union against 269 innocent men, women, and children aboard an unarmed Korean passenger plane. This crime against humanity must never be forgotten, here or throughout the world.

Our prayers tonight are with the victims and their families in their time of terrible grief. Our hearts go out to them — to brave people like Kathryn McDonald, the wife of a Congressman whose composure and eloquence on the day of her husband’s death moved us all. He will be sorely missed by all of us here in government.

The parents of one slain couple wired me: “Our daughter…and her husband…died on Korean Airline Flight 007. Their deaths were the result of the Soviet Union violating every concept of human rights.” The emotions of these parents — grief, shock, anger — are shared by civilized people everywhere. From around the world press accounts reflect an explosion of condemnation by people everywhere.

Let me state as plainly as I can: There was absolutely no justification, either legal or moral, for what the Soviets did. One newspaper in India said, “If every passenger plane…is fair game for home air forces…it will be the end to civil aviation as we know it.”

This is not the first time the Soviet Union has shot at and hit a civilian airliner when it over flew its territory. In another tragic incident in 1978, the Soviets also shot down an unarmed civilian airliner after having positively identified it as such. In that instance, the Soviet interceptor pilot clearly identified the civilian markings on the side of the aircraft, repeatedly questioned the order to fire on a civilian airliner, and was ordered to shoot it down anyway. The aircraft was hit with a missile and made a crash landing. Several innocent people lost their lives in this attack, killed by shrapnel from the blast of a Soviet missile.

Is this a practice of other countries in the world? The answer is no. Commercial aircraft from the Soviet Union and Cuba on a number of occasions have over flown sensitive United States military facilities. They weren’t shot down. We and other civilized countries believe in the tradition of offering help to mariners and pilots who are lost or in distress on the sea or in the air. We believe in following procedures to prevent a tragedy, not to provoke one.

But despite the savagery of their crime, the universal reaction against it, and the evidence of their complicity, the Soviets still refuse to tell the truth. They have persistently refused to admit that their pilot fired on the Korean aircraft. Indeed, they’ve not even told their own people that a plane was shot down.

They have spun a confused tale of tracking the plane by radar until it just mysteriously disappeared from their radar screens, but no one fired a shot of any kind. But then they coupled this with charges that it was a spy plane sent by us and that their planes fired tracer bullets past the plane as a warning that it was in Soviet airspace.

Let me recap for a moment and present the incontrovertible evidence that we have. The Korean airliner, a Boeing 747, left Anchorage, Alaska, bound for Seoul, Korea, on a course south and west which would take it across Japan. Out over the Pacific, in international waters, it was for a brief time in the vicinity of one of our reconnaissance planes, an RC-135, on a routine mission. At no time was the RC-135 in Soviet airspace. The Korean airliner flew on, and the two planes were soon widely separated.

The 747 is equipped with the most modern computerized navigation facilities, but a computer must respond to input provided by human hands. No one will ever know whether a mistake was made in giving the computer the course or whether there was a malfunction. Whichever, the 747 was flying a course further to the west than it was supposed to fly — a course which took it into Soviet airspace.

The Soviets tracked this plane for 2 1/2 hours while it flew a straight-line course at 30 to 35,000 feet. Only civilian airliners fly in such a manner. At one point, the Korean pilot gave Japanese air control his position as east of Hokkaido, Japan, showing that he was unaware they were off course by as much or more than a hundred miles.

The Soviets scrambled jet interceptors from a base in Sakhalin Island. Japanese ground sites recorded the interceptor planes’ radio transmissions — their conversations with their own ground control. We only have the voices from the pilots; the Soviet ground-to-air transmissions were not recorded. It’s plain, however, from the pilot’s words that he’s responding to orders and queries from his own ground control.

President Reagan went on to play tapes of the conversation between the Soviets on the ground and the Flight Crew, which confirmed that they were targeting the Korean Airliner.

The President concluded his address tp the nation by saying,

I‘ve told you negotiations we’ve suspended as a result of the Korean airline massacre, but we cannot, we must not give up our effort to reduce the arsenals of destructive weapons threatening the world. Ambassador Nitze has returned to Geneva to resume the negotiations on intermediate-range nuclear weapons in Europe. Equally, we will continue to press for arms reductions in the START talks that resume in October. We are more determined than ever to reduce and, it possible, eliminate the threat hanging over mankind.

We know it will be heard to make a nation that rules its own people through force to cease using force against the rest of the world. But we must try.

This is not a role we sought. We preach no manifest destiny. But like Americans who began this country and brought forth this last, best hope of mankind, history has asked much of the Americans of our own time. Much we have already given; much more we must be prepared to give.

Let us have faith, in Abraham Lincoln’s words, “that right makes might, and in that faith let us, to the end dare to do our duty as we understand it.” If we do, if we stand together and move forward with courage, then history will record that some good did come from this monstrous wrong that we will carry with us and remember for the rest of our lives.

The Illegal Alien Invasion: Is It Only Latinos, Who Are Entering Our Country Illegally?

As the Invasion at our Southern Border continues, the Obama Administration, while shouting over and over again from their mountaintop that this is a “Humanitarian Issue”, has neglected to tell the American public that there is a far more sinister concern that our wide-open Southern Border brings, as well.

Former national deputy chief of the U.S. Border Patrol Ronald Colburn tells National Review Online that the Obama administration has undone all of the progress made at America’s southern border since 9/11.

“We’re back to a pre-9/11 situation basically, and this administration did that in the past five years,” he says. “All of the good that was done after 9/11 up to now has been reversed singlehandedly.”

Colburn, who spent more than 30 years working for U.S. Customs and Border Protection, says the resulting national-security risk has to do with the “clutter” of people at the border. He says all of the gains made since 9/11 came as a result of reducing the number of people crossing the border. The Border Patrol’s task is to sort through the haystack of people as they come across, he says. “What this situation on the border is doing is growing the haystack, is adding clutter, so that those dangerous needles get through because we’re tied up capturing, instead, juvenile children from Guatemala and El Salvador,” he says. “When you see the cartels — the Zetas and MS-13 and the Gulf Cartel — laughing about this on the Internet, you know what’s behind it.”

Colburn says the “gangsters down south” enjoy social media, taking selfies, and talking about one another online. Border Patrol officials monitor the cartels’ online communications along with officials from the Department of Defense and intelligence community, he says.

Now, just suppose that Muslim Terrorists, disguised as Latinos, are entering our country, along with the rest of this Illegal Alien Invasion.

Preposterous, you say?

Former Congressman, Lt. Col. Allen B. West, reported the following on July 11th on his website…

Congressman Ted Poe (R-TX) told CBS’s local Dallas Fort Worth affiliate he believes that ISIS will use Texas’s southern border to enter the United States. “Of course the way they would come to the United States would be through the porous border with Mexico. The drug cartels will bring people into the country no matter who they are — for money,” says Poe.

The U.S. Border Patrol has a specific classification for those caught illegally entering America called OTMs (Other than Mexicans) which denotes those not of Hispanic descent. It is well known that drug cartels are assisting Islamic terrorists in gaining entrance and crossing the border. In fact it’s been going on for some time.

According to Breitbart.com, Human Events reported in 2010 that Iranian currency and prayer rugs were regularly found near the southern border.

A November 2012 House Committee on Homeland Security report from the Oversight Sub-Committee stated:

“U.S. Government officials who are directly responsible for our national security continue to affirm the vulnerability. In August 2007 former Director of National Intelligence Mike McConnell stated that not only have terrorists used the Southwest border to enter the United States but that they will inevitably continue to do so as long as it is an available possibility. In a July 2012 hearing before the full U.S. House of Representatives Committee on Homeland Security, DHS Secretary Janet Napolitano confirmed that terrorists have crossed the Southwest border with the intent to harm the American people. Additionally, the U.S. Border Patrol regularly apprehends aliens from the 35 “special interest countries” designated by our intelligence community as countries that could export individuals that could bring harm to our country in the way of terrorism.” From Fiscal Years 2006 to 2011, there were 1,918 apprehensions of these Special Interest Aliens at our Southwest border.”

An independent security contractor told Breitbart News last week that six Special Interest Aliens (SIA’s) from Afghanistan, Iraq, and Yemen were picked up by U.S. border patrol near Laredo, Texas. Each one had 60,000 Iraqi Dinars ($51.00) apiece on them.

Last week in Arizona, a Muslim prayer rug was found. As reported by Breitbart.com, “Matthew Leber spokesman for the American Patriot, Three Percent, sent Breitbart News photos of what American security contractors on the ground believe is a Muslim prayer rug found near the border in Arizona last week. A member of the security team spoke with Breitbart News on Monday night saying they were on patrol right along the border came down into a wash and the area were working in just south of Sierra Vista in Coronado national forest.”

The reason why this group went down into the wash area was because the Border Patrol doesn’t go down there – in military terms, it’s a defilade position where they lose visible contact with border crossers.

According to Breitbart, the group patrolled along the border that was a patchwork of decades-old rickety fencing made from train tracks and cattle enclosures. Eventually, they were 50 yards by the border and saw a break in the wash. The contractor said, “That’s when I saw this thing laying around. And I was like, ‘What the hell is that?’ We walked over there and I didn’t really want to pull at it not knowing what was on it. I poked a bit at it with a stick and noticed some of the Arabic writing and was just like, ‘Oh boy.’ I snapped a couple of photos and then went on our patrol.”

I have always said illegal immigration is a multi-headed hydra issue and the first head is our national security. Who in their right mind would allow the American southern border to be unsecured? And to hear the liberal progressives of the Democrat Party play political games and castigate blame when this is an Executive branch responsibility is disgusting.

But, Lt. Col. West, President Obama said that al Qaeda was on the run. In fact, sir, the day after you posted the preceding information, Obama spoke extemporaneously at the White House, and said,

[T]he truth of the matter is that for all the challenges we face, all the problems that we have, if you had to be — if you had to choose any moment to be born in human history, not knowing what your position was going to be, who you were going to be, you’d choose this time. The world is less violent than it has ever been. It is healthier than it has ever been. It is more tolerant than it has ever been. It is better fed then it’s ever been. It is more educated than it’s ever been.

Of course, ol’ Scooter has been known to have been wrong before…

The local CBS Affiliate in New York City reports that…

The US Open Tennis Championship appears on a wish list of terror targets in an al Qaeda magazine, an NYPD official said Wednesday.

In a briefing for New York City’s private security community, Rebecca Weiner, the NYPD’s director of intelligence analysis, warned that Inspire magazine is instructing would-be terrorists on how to make bombs and where to set them off, WCBS 880′s Marla Diamond reported.

The magazine lists targets in Washington, D.C.; Virginia; and New York — including the US Open, which begins Aug. 25 in Flushing Meadows, Queens.

Weiner stressed that police are not aware of any specific threats against the tournament.

Obama is doing nothing to stop the flow of illegal aliens entering our Sovereign Nation because he and his political party envision them as future Democrat Voters.

By granting amnesty to these people who have broken into our country, as a burglar breaks into a home, as well as to their offspring, Obama and those who handle him, believe that they are strengthening the Democrat voter base, replenishing those ex-sycophants who figured out for themselves that Obama’s promise of Hope and Change, was not one of personal prosperity.

Hence, the illogical statement, heard time and again from Obama, that:

The most significant step we can take now to secure the borders is to fix the system as a whole so that fewer people have incentive to enter illegally in search of work in the first place.

A wide-open Southern Border is as big a threat to the Sovereignty of the United States as anything that our enemies can throw at us right now. Mr. President, quit playing political games. The safety of America is at stake .

Sec. John Kerry Gets Uptight When He Hears of “American Exceptionalism”. My Reply.

One of the first things that Barack Hussein Obama (mm mmm mmmm) did when he became President of the United States of America, was to go on a World Apology Tour, bowing and scraping in front of friend and foe alike, apologizing for the United States of America and minimizing American Exceptionalism, representing the greatest country on God’s green Earth as being “just another country”.

And, to this day, Obama’s latest Secretary of State, John Kerry, is continuing that same failed “Smart Power!” Foreign Policy of negotiating from a strength of weakness:

As John Kerry travels from country to country on various diplomatic missions as secretary of state (almost half a million miles so far), he often addresses the staff and their families at the U.S. embassies in the countries he visits. Remarks at these informal gatherings are often more casual than the usual speeches or press appearances, and Kerry often jokes with the staff and recognizes employees of long standing with the State Department. Monday, Kerry had one such opportunity in Vienna, Austria, the last stop on his most recent trip, and towards the end of his talk he recalled his two Yale commencement speeches, forty-eight years apart, where he discussed “sort of the world we’re in” and America’s place in it:

…I was privileged to speak to the graduating class of Yale this year, and it was particularly a pleasure because it happened to turn out to be, literally, I hate to say it, 48 years to the day that I was privileged to speak as a graduating senior to my own class. And I talked to them about sort of the world we’re in right now, but at the end I tried to remind them all, which I remind you of, we are – I get always a little uptight when I hear politicians say how exceptional we are – not because we’re not exceptional, but because it’s kind of in-your-face and a lot of other people are exceptional, a lot of other places do exceptional things.

Despite his profession of uptightness on the topic of America’s exceptionalism, Kerry went on to close out his remarks explaining what he believes makes America uniquely exceptional:

But we are exceptional in a certain way that no other nation is. We are not defined by thousands of years (inaudible) of history. We are not defined by ethnicity. We are not defined by bloodline or by anything except an idea. And that idea was expressed in the Declaration of Independence and in our Constitution, the idea that people are created equal and that all people have a chance to aspire for greatness, for anything they want. Pretty amazing, right? So think about that. It’s the only country that is literally united and formed around and whose rule of law is based on that idea, one idea, and it’s pretty special. So thank you for representing it. Thank you. (Applause.)

Kerry used similar language in his 2014 Yale commencement address, noting that the American idea is what makes America different: that all are “created equal and all endowed with unalienable rights” and that “America is an idea and we – all of us, you – get to fill it out over time.”

Kerry, ever since Vietnam, has been very adept at using “weasel words”. He reveals much with his covert admission here as to actually “not really” believing in American Exceptionalism.

Like his Boss, President Barack Hussein Obama, Kerry believes that America is really “just another country”.

On July 17, 1980, Ronald Wilson Reagan, at the Republican National Convention, accepting their Nomination as the Presidential Candidate, spoke the following prophetic words:

The major issue of this campaign is the direct political, personal and moral responsibility of Democratic Party leadership — in the White House and in Congress — for this unprecedented calamity which has befallen us. They tell us they have done the most that humanly could be done. They say that the United States has had its day in the sun; that our nation has passed its zenith. They expect you to tell your children that the American people no longer have the will to cope with their problems; that the future will be one of sacrifice and few opportunities.

My fellow citizens, I utterly reject that view. The American people, the most generous on earth, who created the highest standard of living, are not going to accept the notion that we can only make a better world for others by moving backwards ourselves. Those who believe we can have no business leading the nation.

I will not stand by and watch this great country destroy itself under mediocre leadership that drifts from one crisis to the next, eroding our national will and purpose. We have come together here because the American people deserve better from those to whom they entrust our nation’s highest offices, and we stand united in our resolve to do something about it.

We need rebirth of the American tradition of leadership at every level of government and in private life as well. The United States of America is unique in world history because it has a genius for leaders — many leaders, on many levels. But back in 1976, Mr. Carter said, “Trust me.” And a lot of people did. Now, many of those people are out of work. Many have seen their savings eaten away by inflation. Many others on fixed incomes, especially the elderly, have watched helplessly as the cruel tax of inflation wasted away their purchasing power. And, today, a great many who trusted Mr. Carter wonder if we can survive the Carter policies of national defense.

“Trust me” government asks that we concentrate our hopes and dreams on one man; that we trust him to do what’s best for us. My view of government places trust not in one person or one party, but in those values that transcend persons and parties. The trust is where it belongs — in the people. The responsibility to live up to that trust is where it belongs, in their elected leaders. That kind of relationship, between the people and their elected leaders, is a special kind of compact.

You see, Secretary Kerry, that is where the exceptionalism of America lies…not in the Halls of Power…but in the courage and spirit of the average American. A courage and spirit, which our history proves, has driven American Citizens to build a nation, which is indeed exceptional among all others.

Thr secret of this country’s exceptionalism is the “Average Joe”, the 9 to 5′er, working himself into the grave to try to provide for his family.

It was this same “Average Joe”, who fired the shot heard around the world and began the War for American Independence, who stormed the beaches of Normandy on D-Day in World War II, who waded through rice paddies in Vietnam, and who swallowed sand in Desert Storm and Desert Shield. The same “Average Joe” who, as a New York City Policeman or Fireman, ran up the stairs of the World Trade Center on 9/11/01, instead of running down them. The same “Average Joe”, who simply wants things to be easier in this life for his children and grandchildren, than he had it.

It is this same “Average Joe”, who takes family and friends in, when they are in the midst of a life-altering tragedy. The same “Average Joe”, who volunteers on a soup line or at a Senior Citizens Home.

Liberal Bureaucrats, like Secretary of State John Kerry and his boss, are professional political prevaricators. Men and women, whose ethics and morality change with the direction of the wind, and whose egos override their judgement…every time.

America is a Constitutional Republic. We are not ruled by a faceless all-powerful government. America’s politicians, like you, Mr. Secretary, and your Boss, President Obama, are OUR SERVANTS….not the other way around.

And, as your Boss, I expect you to possess a more complete knowledge of the history of the most exceptional nation on the face of God’s green Earth. I expect you to honor and respect the lives given and the sacrifices made by courageous Americans, who paved the way for you and the rest of this selfish generation, who are so desperately attempting to rewrite American History in order for it to be in accordance with the tenets of their Liberal Ideology.

You did get one thing right, Secretary Kerry. As our Founders wrote,

That all men are created equal; that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable rights; that among these are life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness…

The Illegal Alien Invasion: Obama and the “New Bolsheviks”

Yesterday, in Austin , Texas, the Lone Star State’s Capital and “Mecca” of Liberalism, President Barack Hussein Obama, in front of a hand-picked admiring throng, did what he does best: had a petulant hissy fit, due to “everybody picking on him”. By “everybody”, I mean “those mean old Republicans”, of course.

Yahoo News reports that

“You hear some of ’em, ‘sue him, impeach him,'” Obama said, then added a sarcastic, “Really?”

“For what? You’re going to sue me for doing my job? OK. I mean, think about that, you’re going to use taxpayer money to sue me for doing my job, while you don’t do your job?”

The crowd applauded.

“Sometimes I feel like saying to these guys, ‘I’m the guy doing my job. You must be the other guy,'” he said.

With Obama’s latest congressional proposal, $3.7 billion to tackle the border crisis, facing a rocky path to passage in Congress, the president is contending with what may well be a Washington stalemate throughout the rest of his presidency, which ends in early 2017.

On this week’s trip, he has taken to wandering down memory lane, recalling simpler times before he was a global figure, remembering fondly a walk he took along the river in Austin that did not attract a crowd or the time he sang on stage here.

“I remember going to a bar, club, or honky-tonk around here and singing on stage. I wasn’t very good. But people were enthusiastic,” he said at a fund-raiser at a private home in Austin.

Obama is finding his travels out of Washington to be cathartic, a way to connect with people who helped put him in office.

“What I’ve said to my team is ‘get me out of Washington,’” the president told donors at the event. He said wanted to talk to people who are doing the right thing and struggling so they know they are being heard.

So Obama, per usual, is trying to come off as a “Man of the People”? Which people is that?

As Bill Flax wrote back in March of 2012, in an article posted on americanthinker.org, Obama’s political philosophy speaks for itself,

Every fiscal policy from sundry stimulus programs to tax credits is steeply progressive. Obama champions wealth-redistribution and punitively taxing the affluent, even as political reality prevents implementing his complete agenda. Still, spending relentlessly rises long after the recession’s end, propelling government dependency to record heights. Meanwhile, regulatory impositions grow ever more invasive, further extending Leviathan’s lurching grasp.

The administration’s rhetorical assaults on business and repeated allusions to Republicans or the rich as “enemies” betray Marxist moorings. To Obama, profits represent not satisfied customers, but swindles; businesses are “greedy” until proven innocent. Acquittals come via campaign contributions or penance to progressive causes. Those who cooperate obtain ObamaCare waivers and lucrative public contracts; those who won’t get vilification from the presidential bully pulpit.

…But the Breitbart footage showing Obama supporting Derrick Bell’s racialism highlights the precise hue of the president’s Marxist perspectives. Professor Bell has been nicknamed the “Jeremiah Wright of the academic world.” Bell’s Critical Race Theory, the pinnacle of political correctness, applies Marxism to culture, as orthodox Marxism antagonized class differences.

Whereas Marx proffered that the pivotal hinge was economic, as explained here, cultural Marxism, aka political correctness, features other factors. It’s still victims and villains, but the culprits extend beyond capitalists and bourgeois to whites, men, Christians, and other “privileged” parties. Western culture’s prey are racial or religious minorities, women, and those behaving in ways previously considered anti-social.

Obama perceives society through lenses skewed by this modern version of Marxism. Obama’s proposals inevitably leverage left-wing radicals or government organs to redistribute wealth, power, or caches of moral superiority under pretense of combating prejudice. Power shifts from private to public — or from parties previously seen as oppressors to those whom progressives deem oppressed.

…The apologies, the appointments, the executive orders, the spending priorities — all embody untrammeled political correctness. The consistent thread knitting this Marxist quilt is anti-traditional America, which, as the president haughtily scoffs, was founded by “men of property and wealth.” Obama borrows from Marx, who thought government an instrument protecting the rich. Marx found faith, tradition, and patriotism impediments preventing the proletariat from recognizing their class interests.

The desensitization and placating of the Middle Class, as it was in classic Marxist Theory, is a key element of Obama’s political philosophy, as it was Vladimir Lenin’s.

By taking the ambition of the Middle Class away, by offering a “safe and comfortable” cradle-to-grave Nanny-State, “Uncle Sugar” Federal Government, Obama and his Administration have been buying American voters by giving them bribes of free Obamaphones, free healthcare, paychecks for not working, free food, etc.

All of this, plus the Class Warfare Rhetoric, which Obama continuously spouts, reminds me of a moment in history, over a century ago.

The year is 1903, The Russian Social Democratic Party is meeting in London. All the intellectuals in their party have been arguing since the end of the 1800′s as to the direction the party should take. One year earlier, in 1902, a man named Lenin, living in exile, wrote a paper entitled, “What Is To Be Done”.

The work was smuggled into Russia and spelled out his views regarding what the Social Democrats should be doing as a party. Lenin attacked party members who “were content to wait while history took its predetermined course.” Rather than wait, Lenin wanted to kick-start the issue he believed in to get things done rather than wait on intellectuals sitting around refuting each other’s ideas. The meeting resulted in a Party split creating the Mentsheviks and the Bolsheviks. The two factions reunited under Lenin in April 1905. Lenin went on to organize the November 1917 Russian Revolution on the Promise of “peace. bread, and land”.

On the night of Nov. 6 (Oct. 24, O.S.), the Bolsheviks staged a coup, engineered by Trotsky; aided by the workers’ Red Guard and the sailors of Kronstadt, they captured the government buildings and the Winter Palace in Petrograd. A second all-Russian congress of soviets met and approved the coup after the Mensheviks and Socialist Revolutionaries walked out of the meeting. A cabinet, known as the Council of People’s Commissars, was set up with Lenin as chairman, Trotsky as foreign commissar, Rykov as interior commissar, and Stalin as commissar of nationalities. The second congress immediately called for cessation of hostilities, gave private and church lands to village soviets, and abolished private property.

By now, you’re saying, “So? What does Lenin’s push to power and the subsequent Russian Revolution have to do with what is going on in America right now…our horrible economy, our still-massive unemployment, and the illegal alien invasion we are experiencing on our Southern Border?”

Elementary, my dear Watson.

Lenin rose to power during a time of economic plight in Russia, which was perceived as being the result of a greedy upper class. In order to depose the Czar and his government, Lenin had to solidify the “have-nots”, the Mentsheviks and the Bolsheviks, into his own private army, designed to usher in his “Glorious Revolution”.

Today, in 2014, Obama, voted by the American People, the “Worst president Since World War II”, finds himself is a rapidly weakening position of power.

His popularity is swirling down the ol’ porcelain receptacle, and even his own party members are trying to distance themselves from him.

By ginning up the dependent base already here…and growing…due to this new influx of illegals…to push Congress to support Obama in passing Amnesty, Obama is creating his own “Revolutionary Army”, to fulfill his promise of “rapidly changing” America as we know it.

Far fetched? Perhaps.

However, remember what the greatest President in my lifetime, Ronald Wilson Reagan, once said,

Freedom is never more than one generation away from extinction. We didn’t pass it to our children in the bloodstream. It must be fought for, protected, and handed on for them to do the same.

Lindsey Graham Joins Fellow Liberals in Proclaiming Illegal Alien Invasion “A Humanitarian Issue.” THEIR “Compassion”…OUR Money.

Ever since June 2nd, when Obama and his Administration started calling this present Illegal Immigrant Invasion “a Humanitarian Issue”, every Liberal on the Internet has droned on incessantly, claiming “compassion” as the reason that Conservatives should hop on the bandwagon and support this flood of lawbreakers coming across our Southern Border.

It’s bad enough that Liberal Democrats are supporting Obama in this matter, but now, one of the leading Senate Republicans is “reaching across the aisle” to slap Conservatives in the face…again.

Tens of thousands of people flocking to the U.S. border from Guatemala, Honduras and El Salvador have stirred anger into the boiling immigration debate, but U.S. Sen. Lindsey Graham said Sunday that the crisis confronting federal, state and local governments is not an immigration issue.

“It’s a humanitarian problem, but it’s apart from immigration reform. This is a specific problem created by an impression that if you get to America, you can stay,” Graham said on CBS’s “Face the Nation.”

“We’ve got to turn that impression around, send these children back to their homelands, tell the countries in question if you don’t keep them and take care of them, we’re going to cut all aid,” said Graham, a Republican from Seneca.

Nevertheless, the growing wave of humanity, including more than 52,000 unaccompanied children detained since October, has ignited protests against undocumented immigrants, including one in Murrieta, Calif., that blocked buses bound for a Border Patrol processing center. The buses carried women and children who had been flown to California from the overwhelmed border state of Texas.

The protests brought out counter-demonstrators, resulting in dueling messages reflected on signs and banners such as “Proud LEGAL American. It doesn’t work any other way,” and “Against Illegal Immigration? Great! Go back to Europe!” The Associated Press reported.

President Barack Obama has said that one reason for the increasing numbers of unaccompanied children coming up from Central America is a 2008 law that makes it almost impossible to return them until they appear before an immigration judge. The law, signed by President George W. Bush, added legal protections for such children with the intention of preventing immigration officials from unknowingly sending them back to pimps and drug violence, The Los Angeles Times reported.

Obama last week asked Congress to change the law to make it easier to send them home, thereby speeding up the process of reducing the numbers.

The president also has asked Congress for funding to open up detention centers across the country to provide humane conditions and “make sure that the basic humanitarian needs of those individuals are provided for,” White House Press Secretary Josh Earnest said last week. Obama has pointed out the peril for children traveling from Central America to the U.S. border.

“The journey is unbelievably dangerous for these kids,” Obama said. “The children who are fortunate enough to survive it will be taken care of while they go through the legal process, but in most cases that process will lead to them being sent back home.”

Graham expressed similar sentiments on Sunday.

“We’ll have to send them back,” he said, “because if you don’t, you’re going to incentivize people in that part of the world to keep sending their children here. About a third of the little girls are raped, in the process of getting here.”

Although Graham considers the current crisis a humanitarian one, he could not avoid questions about stalled immigration bills in Congress, particularly the need for a tighter seal along the border. He said there is plenty of border security in a broad, bipartisan immigration bill he helped get passed in the Senate and also in individual bills proposed by Republicans in the House of Representatives.

Just about every lawmaker says the immigration system needs fixing, and Graham has said repeatedly that Republicans have the most to lose on the national political stage if nothing gets done.

Yes, all the Liberals, including Obama, want to “get something done”…WITH OUR MONEY.

Let’s pretend I broke into your house. When you discover me there, you insist I leave. But I say, “I’ve made all the beds, washed the dishes, did the laundry, and cleaned the floors; I’ve done all the work you don’t like to do. I’m hardworking and honest (except for breaking into your house). Not only must you let me stay, you must also add me to your insurance plan, educate my kids, and provide these benefits to my husband, too (he will do your yardwork, he’s honest and hardworking too–except for that breaking in part). If you try to force me out, I will call my friends who will picket your house and proclaim my right to be there! It’s only fair, because you have a nicer house than I do, and I’m trying to better myself. I’m hardworking and honest…except for, well, you know. I will live in your house, contributing only a fraction of the cost of my keep, and there is nothing you can do about it without being accused of selfishness and prejudice.

Oh yeah, I want you to learn my language so you can communicate with me.

Is this a behavior we should be rewarding?

The wonderful thing about America is that people are free to give their money to the charity they choose, religious or secular.

The problem is the fact that Liberals want to give OTHER PEOPLE’S MONEY to the “Humanitarian Issue” THEY CHOOSE.

Liberals love to” talk the talk”. However, when it comes to charitable giving, they are very reticent to “walk the walk”.

Back in 2008, Dr. Richard Land of the Southern Baptist Convention, posted the following on beliefnet.com…

In his book, Who Really Cares: The Surprising Truth About Compassionate Conservativism (Basic Books, 2006), Brooks discovered that approximately equal percentages of liberals and conservatives give to private charitable causes. However, conservatives gave about 30 percent more money per year to private charitable causes, even though his study found liberal families earned an average of 6 percent more per year in income than did conservative families. This greater generosity among conservative families proved to be true in Brooks’ research for every income group, “from poor to middle class to rich.”

This “giving gap” also extended beyond money to time donated to charitable causes, as well. Brooks also discovered that in 2002, conservative Americans were much more likely to donate blood each year than liberals and to do so more often within a year. Brooks found “if liberals and moderates gave blood at the same rate as conservatives, the blood supply in the United States would jump by about 45 percent.”

When Brooks compared his findings to IRS data on the percentage of household income given away, he found that “red” states in the 2004 election were more charitable than “blue” states. Brooks found that 24 of the 25 states that were above average in family charitable giving voted for Bush in 2004, and 17 of the 25 states below average in giving voted for Kerry. Brooks concluded, “The electoral map and the charity map are remarkably similar.”

Why? A clue may be found in the 1996 General Social Survey, which asked Americans whether they agreed that “the government has a responsibility to reduce income inequality.” People who “disagreed strongly” with that statement gave 12 times more money to charity per year than those who “agreed strongly” with the statement.

One’s values, beliefs and political philosophies seem to impact how much one shares of one’s own income with the less fortunate in society. Facts are often surprising and illuminating.

Over the Holiday Weekend, it was announced that 200,000 of this new wave of Illegal Immigrants were sent to the “homes of relatives” all over America.

Who is going to provide for them?

Illegals who are already reaping “Government Benefits”, from a government which they have not even sworn their loyalty to?

Hardly.

“Baracky Claus”, under the kindness of his heart will be providing for them…WITH OUR MONEY.

Is America Trapped in a Battle Between the Darkness and the Light? You Betcha.

If you, like myself , are a Political Junkie, and spend any time at all on Internet Political Website comments sections and political chat boards, you might think that American Christians are an endangered species.

Far from it.

According to a Gallup Poll taken in 2013, 76% of Americans still identify themselves as Christians.

In other words, over 3/4ths of our country still believe that Jesus Christ is their Personal Savior.

So, if Americans believe in the Son of God, do that mean that they believe in the Fallen Angel, formerly known as Lucifer?

You betcha.

September of 2013, YouGov.com conducted a poll which showed that almost six in ten Americans believe that Satan is real, and more than half of Americans believe that people can be possessed by demons.

Demonic Possession? Really? In America?

Yes, really. And, according to a Former New York City Cop turned demonologist, demonic possession is on the rise.

Despite always believing in the existence of good, evil and God, ex-New York Police Department sergeant Ralph Sarchie didn’t consider himself a particularly religious guy — that is, until he began battling what he says are dangerous, supernatural forces.Sarchie, a self-described demonologist who was once a cop for the 46th police precinct in New York City — and the inspiration for the new Hollywood film “Deliver Us From Evil” — told TheBlaze that he believes possessions and infestations are on the rise.

“It’s definitely on the rise. I hate to say it,” Sarchie said in an interview. “As society pushes God out, no one can deny that that’s happening. There’s a good portion of society that just cannot stomach Jesus Christ and when I see that, I have to wonder where that hatred comes from.”

Of the many exorcisms he has participated in and assisted with, Sarchie — who became an independent part-time paranormal investigator while working with the NYPD — said the most terrifying thing he has seen occurred when he placed a crucifix next to a supposedly possessed individual’s head.

“We had a couple of relics in the church that day and mine was on the right side of this person’s head near the ear area … I usually stand in front,” he said. “I could see the eyes — that one eye looking over at the crucifix, but not turning the head. The head was like a statue … the eyes were going back and forth and that was a frightening thing to see.”

Sarchie described the person as looking like a trapped animal who was scared but still very much a volatile predator attempting an escape.

“I’ve been a cop for a long time. I dealt with a lot of emotionally disturbed persons [and] I’ve arrested some pretty bad people and I have never, never in my life in the street seen anything like that,” he said. “A murderer’s look from a person is nothing like a person who is under possession.”

As for his work — a career that is certainly unconventional — the former cop broke his professional life down in simple terms.“Demonology is the study of demons. It’s like all your all other ‘ologies,’” Sarchie said. “I approach it from a religious point of view.”

While he wasn’t always the strong Roman Catholic he is today, Sarchie said that he realized that battling the forces of evil meant securing a good relationship with God.

“If I was going to get involved in battling the devil, I needed to get a strong religion,” he said. “I pray every day — I pray my rosary every day and I pray to God every day that what I’m doing in this life is pleasing to him. I can only do what I know he wants me to do.”

Sarchie recalled how he became involved in demonology: After getting married and having his first daughter, he connected with Ed and Lorraine Warren, real-life paranormal investigators who were depicted in last year’s horror flick “The Conjuring.”

“I became one of their students and I started to go out on cases with [the Warrens],” Sarchie told TheBlaze.

He described the signs of possession, including unnatural strength, speaking in different languages, having knowledge of events that one would have no way of knowing, a woman speaking in a man’s voice and a person making animal sounds.

Additionally, Sarchie, who said only ordained clergy should perform exorcisms, explained that possessed individuals oftentimes know information about the past sins of exorcists and assistants.

Despite making a name for himself as a prominent demonologist, Sarchie said he has never accepted a penny for his assistance, always offering his services free of charge. In fact, he said, cases often cost him money, as he must fund his own travel expenses to various localities.

The former cop says he knows there are many who doubt his claims, but he told TheBlaze he doesn’t pay them any mind.

“I get word of all these skeptics out there and some of them are getting real nasty,” he said. “I’m not interested in what they say, I’m not interested in what they think about me. I don’t care.”

Almost 70 years ago, a great American saw a moral and cultural decline beginning in our “Shining City on a Hill…and he knew exactly who was behind it.

This speech was broadcast by legendary ABC Radio commentator Paul Harvey on April 3, 1965:

If I were the Devil . . . I mean, if I were the Prince of Darkness, I would of course, want to engulf the whole earth in darkness. I would have a third of its real estate and four-fifths of its population, but I would not be happy until I had seized the ripest apple on the tree, so I should set about however necessary to take over the United States. I would designate an atheist to front for me before the highest courts in the land and I would get preachers to say “she’s right.” With flattery and promises of power, I could get the courts to rule what I construe as against God and in favor of pornography, and thus, I would evict God from the courthouse, and then from the school house, and then from the houses of Congress and then, in His own churches I would substitute psychology for religion, and I would deify science because that way men would become smart enough to create super weapons but not wise enough to control them.

If I were Satan, I’d make the symbol of Easter an egg, and the symbol of Christmas, a bottle. If I were the devil, I would take from those who have and I would give to those who wanted, until I had killed the incentive of the ambitious. And then, my police state would force everybody back to work. Then, I could separate families, putting children in uniform, women in coal mines, and objectors in slave camps. In other words, if I were Satan, I’d just keep on doing what he’s doing.
