Finally, A Bill Naming the Muslim Brotherhood a Terrorist Organization to Hit the House Floor. What Delayed It?

1000x563-Q90_212f1befce5deb621a01c48a6d717dea

It is not unusual for the House to drag their feet in bringing a proposed bill to the Floor. However, the ties that bind this bill to a recent House Scandal, which has been buried already by the MSM, are rather interesting.

FoxNews.com reports that

Lawmakers behind a House bill aimed at designating the Muslim Brotherhood a terrorist organization have prepared a draft letter calling on Secretary of State Rex Tillerson to designate the group as a Foreign Terrorist Organization. The draft letter was signed by some two dozen congressmen and was shown to Fox News.

The draft letter, which Fox News has authenticated, calls on Tillerson to consider the Muslim Brotherhood Terrorist Designation Act of 2017 that is sponsored by 63 members of Congress.

The letter gives examples of how the Muslim Brotherhood had been outlawed in Egypt, the United Arab Emirates and Saudi Arabia and says by following suit, the U.S. would be in a position to stifle those organizations by adding financial and travel restrictions and making it difficult for the group to function, while also further isolating them.

While the lawmakers support a full designation of the group, they also suggest a new strategy by which the administration could first designate country-specific organizations. It notes that chapters of the Brotherhood in Egypt, Saudi Arabia and the UAE are all good examples of where a country-specific designation would work.

One Middle-East adviser closely involved in the congressional push on the Brotherhood told Fox News the designation is a “no-brainer.”

“There might be a debate over labeling the entire Muslim Brotherhood a terrorist organization, but there’s no debate about these three branches. Our Egyptian, Saudi, and UAE allies already did the legwork uncovering all the bad behavior, and they concluded these branches support terrorism, and they are looking to us for support. Designating these branches is good politics, good policy, and – especially – good diplomacy,” the adviser said.

The letter is expected to be part of a broader legislative effort aimed at pressing the Trump administration to designate the Muslim Brotherhood as an FTO in part or in full.

The draft argues that there are precedents in designating nation-specific terrorist organizations and lists Ansar al-Shari’a, which has two groups in Libya and one in Tunisia, designated as separate FTOs.

The lawmakers concluded by calling for immediate action on the Brotherhood by the State Department, arguing that the individual designations would be an important first stage in the international fight against terrorism.

The Trump administration had reportedly considered designating the Muslim Brotherhood as an FTO back in February. Former Trump Chief Strategist Steve Bannon was said to be one of the officials pushing for the designation but lost out to other voices in the administration who were opposed.

Florida Republican congressman Mario Diaz-Balart, who is one of the co-sponsors of the House bill, told Fox News’ Eric Shawn earlier this year that the Brotherhood threatens the U.S’ national security interests and should be designated by the administration.

“You have leaders of the Muslim Brotherhood who are designated terrorists, you have organizations under the Muslim Brotherhood, like Hamas, who are designated as terrorist organizations, so I think it’s pretty much a no-brainer that this is a terrorist organization.”

Back in January, during his confirmation hearing, Tillerson said that groups like Al Qaeda and the Muslim Brotherhood were “agents of radical Islam.” The lawmakers now want him to take decisive action against the group.

I believe that I know why this process is taking so long.

But, first, just exactly who are these guys?

Founded in 1928 by the Egyptian schoolteacher/activist Hasan al-Banna (a devout admirer of Adolf Hitler and the Nazis), the Muslim Brotherhood (MB) — a Sunni entity — is one of the oldest, largest and most influential Islamist organizations in the world. While Egypt historically has been the center of the Brotherhood’s operations, the group today is active in more than 70 countries (some estimates range as high as 100+). Islam expert Robert Spencer has called MB “the parent organization of Hamas and al Qaeda.” In 2003, Richard Clarke – the chief counterterrorism advisor on the U.S. National Security Council during both the Bill Clinton and George W. Bush administrations – told a Senate committee that Hamas, al Qaeda, and Palestinian Islamic Jihad were all “descendants of the membership and ideology of the Muslim Brothers.”

MB was established in accordance with al-Banna’s proclamation that Islam should be “given hegemony over all matters of life.” Toward that end, the Brotherhood seeks to establish an Islamic caliphate, or kingdom — first spanning all of the present-day Muslim world, and eventually the entire globe. The organization further aspires to dismantle all non-Islamic governments wherever they currently exist, and to make Islamic Law (Shari’a) the sole basis of jurisprudence everywhere on earth. This purpose is encapsulated in the Brotherhood’s militant credo: “God is our objective, the Koran is our Constitution, the Prophet is our leader, struggle [jihad] is our way, and death for the sake of God is the highest of our aspirations.”

Consistent with the foregoing credo, MB since its founding has supported the use of armed struggle, or jihad, against non-Muslim “infidels.” As al-Banna himself wrote: “Jihad is an obligation from Allah on every Muslim and cannot be ignored nor evaded.” Added al-Banna: “It is the nature of Islam to dominate, not to be dominated, to impose its law on all nations and to extend its power to the entire planet.”

…Embracing Hasan al-Banna’s belief that Islam is destined to eventually dominate all the world, MB today is global in its reach, wielding influence in almost every country with a Muslim population. Moreover, it maintains political parties in many Middle-Eastern and African countries, including Jordan, Bahrain, Tunisia, Algeria, Jordan, Iraq, Syria, Sudan, Somalia, Yemen, and even Israel. Not only does the Brotherhood exist in Israel proper, but its Palestinian chapter created the terrorist organization Hamas, through which MB has supported terrorism against Israel ever since. Article II of the Hamas charter explicitly identifies Hamas as “one of the wings of Moslem Brotherhood in Palestine.” In January 2006 Hamas defeated the rival Fatah party to win the Palestinian legislative elections, thereby becoming the first branch of MB to control an official government.

Outside of the Middle East, MB exercises a strong influence in Muslim communities throughout Europe. Among the more prominent Brotherhood organizations in the region are: the Forum of European Muslim Youth and Student Organizations, the Muslim Association of Britain, the European Council for Fatwa and Research, the Islamische Gemeinschaft Deutschland (IGD), and the Union des Organisations Islamiques de France (UOIF).

…In early February 2011, Muhammad Ghannem, a leading member of the Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt, told the Iranian news network Al-Alam that “the people [of Egypt] should be prepared for war against Israel,” emphasizing that “the Egyptian people are prepared for anything to get rid of this regime.” That objective was entirely consistent with former MB Supreme Guide Muhammad Mahdi Othman Akef’s 2007 assertion that his organization had never recognized Israel and never would: “Our lexicon does not include anything called ‘Israel.’ The [only thing] we acknowledge is the existence of Zionist gangs that have occupied Arab lands and deported the residents. If they want to live among us, it will have to be as [residents of] Palestine.”

Now, as to the reason why Congress may be intentionally dragging their feet on designating the Muslim Brotherhood a terrorist organization…

Remember the House I.T. Vendor, the Awan Brothers from Pakistan, who were caught selling top-secret information to the highest bidder?

Four months ago, TheGatewayPundit.com and Frontpage Magazine reported the following details to that story which ties it into the subject of this post…

Just when you thought the case surrounding the Awan brothers could not get any darker, a new piece of news emerges. Lt. Col. Tony Shaffer revealed to Laura Ingraham, who filled in for Tucker Carlson Thursday evening, the Pakistani IT staffers were sending sensitive information to the Muslim Brotherhood.

The explosive claim is backed up by a report in Frontpage Magazine linking the Awan brothers to the Muslim Brotherhood. The Pakistani IT staffers worked for Democrat Congressmen Andre Carson as well.

Frontpage reported:

“The office of Andre Carson, the second Muslim in Congress, had employed Imran Awan. As did the offices of Jackie Speier and Debbie Wasserman Schultz; to whom the letter had been addressed.

Carson is the second Muslim in Congress and the first Muslim on the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence and, more critically, is the ranking member on its Emerging Threats Subcommittee. He is also a member of the Department of Defense Intelligence and Overhead Architecture Subcommittee.

The Emerging Threats Subcommittee, of which Carson is a ranking member, is responsible for much of counterterrorism oversight. It is the worst possible place for a man with Carson’s credentials.

Carson had inherited his grandmother’s seat and exploited it to promote a radical Islamist agenda. He has interfaced with a laundry list of Islamist groups from CAIR to ISNA to ICNA to MPAC. Islamists have funded Carson’s career to the tune of tens of thousands of dollars. The Center for Security Policy has put together a dossier of Carson’s connections to the Muslim Brotherhood. The Brotherhood is the parent organization of many key Islamic terror groups posing a threat to our national security including Al Qaeda and Hamas.

Andre Carson shared the stage at a CAIR banquet with Sirraj Wahaj: an unindicted co-conspirator in the World Trade Center bombing who had once declared,” You don’t get involved in politics because it’s the American thing to do. You get involved in politics because politics are a weapon to use in the cause of Islam.” CAIR itself had been named an unindicted co-conspirator in terror finance.”

It’s ironic the Awan brothers cry Islamophobia, when in all actuality, the religion they practice deserves all the scrutiny it receives. Simply put, the Awan brothers are of the Muslim faith sending sensitive information to Islamic fundamentalist group, Muslim Brotherhood.

Perhaps the reason why this “no-brainer” of a declaration has not been pushed through yet, has to do with the sensitive information sold by the Awan Brothers to the Muslim Brotherhood.

Perhaps the Democrats are still attempting to bury the story of their accidental third party collusion with the Radical Islamist Organization.

While the Democratic Party, their Propaganda Arm, The Main Stream Media, and all of their minions, paid and unpaid, spamming Social Media Political Pages, were pushing the Trump-Russia Collusion Fairy Tale 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, a very real collusion was happening under their very noses which actually threatened our sovereignty as a nation.

The Awans were funneling classified information to the Godfather of Islamic Terrorist Organizations, straight from the servers of House Democrats who served on the Intelligence, Homeland Security, and Foreign Affairs Congressional Committees!

No wonder Debbie Wasserman Schultz did not want to cooperate with authorities.

This was a huge story, which apparently the Liberal Main Stream News Outlets felt would go away, if they ignored it.

And now, perhaps they are afraid that these hearings on the Muslim Brotherhood will somehow bring back up the damage which the Democrats’ poor choice in I.T. Vendors may have caused.

Concerning their dealings with the Awans, the Democrats in the House were either

a) unconsciously naïve

b) just plain stupid,

or

c) treasonous, betraying the country which they were supposed to be serving and protecting for the sake of political expediency.

At this point, considering the burying of this important story by the Main Stream Media, I am going to go with

d) ALL OF THE ABOVE

The Great Liberal Sexual Harassment Hunt Continues: “A Rose By Any Other Name…”

Charlie

Pride goeth before destruction, and a haughty spirit before a fall. – Proverbs 16:18

FoxNews.com reports that

“CBS This Morning” co-host and longtime PBS star Charlie Rose has been accused by eight women of making unwanted sexual advances toward them and admitted to some of the misconduct in a statement, according to the Washington Post. Both PBS and CBS suspended him.

Rose’s alleged misconduct includes making lewd phone calls, walking around naked and groping the women’s breasts, buttocks or genital areas, according to the Post. Rose’s accusers were employees or “aspired to work for Rose at The Charlie Rose show’ on PBS from the late 1990s to as recently as 2011.”

CBS also suspended Rose but did not respond to request for additional comment.

“We are deeply disturbed to learn of these allegations and are immediately suspending the show from airing on Bloomberg TV,” the network said in a statement.

Rose’s accusers were between 21 and 37 years old at the time of the alleged encounters and the Post noted that there are “striking commonalities” in the accounts of the women. His alleged behavior typically included offering jobs to females and then using his power to put them in uncomfortable positions of a sexual nature. He allegedly would offer women a six-figure position that disappeared once they rejected his advances.

“For all of the women, reporters interviewed friends, colleagues or family members who said the women had confided in them about aspects of the incidents. Three of the eight spoke on the record. Five of the women spoke on the condition of anonymity out of fear of Rose’s stature in the industry, his power over their careers or what they described as his volatile temper,” the Post said in a statement about the bombshell.

None of the women who made accusations against Rose to The Post worked for PBS or CBS.

He has expressed remorse for some of the allegations.

“In my 45 years in journalism, I have prided myself on being an advocate for the careers of the women with whom I have worked,” Rose said in a statement provided to The Post. “Nevertheless, in the past few days, claims have been made about my behavior toward some former female colleagues… It is essential that these women know I hear them and that I deeply apologize for my inappropriate behavior. I am greatly embarrassed.”

Rose continued: “I have behaved insensitively at times, and I accept responsibility for that, though I do not believe that all of these allegations are accurate. I always felt that I was pursuing shared feelings, even though I now realize I was mistaken.”

Powerful and influential men have been facing allegations of sexual misconduct on a regular basis since disgraced Hollywood mogul Harvey Weinstein was outed as a sexual predator with a pair of bombshell reports in The New York Times and New Yorker earlier this year. High-profile media members such as Glenn Thrush and Mark Halperin have joined celebrities such as Kevin Spacey, Louis C.K. and a handful of politicians accused of sexual misconduct in recent weeks.

Ironically, Rose once appeared as himself on an episode of the Netflix series “House of Cards,” which has been rocked by the accusations against Spacey.

According to the report by Post contributor Irin Carmon and investigative reporter Amy Brittain, one accuser, Reah Bravo, was an intern and then associate producer for Rose’s PBS show beginning in 2007. In various interviews, she detailed unwanted sexual advances from Rose.

“It has taken 10 years and a fierce moment of cultural reckoning for me to understand these moments for what they were,” she told The Post. “He was a sexual predator, and I was his victim.”

Another accuser, Kyle Godfrey-Ryan, was Rose’s former assistant and detailed “at least a dozen instances where Rose walked nude in front of her while she worked in one of his New York City homes.” She claims the CBS and PBS star also “repeatedly called” her “at night or early in the morning to describe his fantasies of her swimming naked.”

Megan Creydt worked as a coordinator on the show from 2005 to 2006 and was a colleague of Godfrey-Ryan. She told the Post that Rose “put his hand on my mid-thigh” and understands that other claims are more serious but she was willing to speak to the paper to “support other women who were coming forward.”

The 75-year-old is considered a broadcasting legend and has interviewed everyone from Steve Jobs to Barack Obama. Time magazine named Rose one of its 100 most influential people in 2014 and former New York City mayor Michael Bloomberg once described him as “one of the most important and influential people in journalism.”

Well, the Great Liberal Sexual Harassment Hunt that began in Hollywood has now reached the East Coast

Now, there have always been rumors and innuendos concerning those who make a very nice living in the public eye.

However, within the past few weeks, all of those rumors and innuendos have become facts.

And, you know what has been great about all of these revelations? …If I may call all of this perversion “great”…

Except for one notable exception, involving a very obvious political set-up in Alabama, all of these cases are Liberal Democrats “eating” their own.

That’s right.

The very individuals who produced and starred in commercials who told us “that wasn’t who we were” if we were to vote for Donald J. Trump on November 8, 2016 have proven themselves to be “not who we are” to begin with.

For all of their self-proclaimed piety and scripted sanctimony, the Liberal Elite who parade themselves across our movie and television screens are turning out to be no more sophisticated and above reproach than the “dancers” and “patrons” at your local “Boom-Boom Room”.

For all of their hues and cries over Trump’s recorded private conversation about “party girls”, these members of Hollywood’s and the Media’s Liberal Elite have felt the cold hard slap of their own hypocrisy slap them squarely in their surgically enhanced faces.

The funny thing is, if you had asked all of these Liberals before their “indiscretions” came out, how they felt about women, they would have told you that they were “Feminists”.

Y’know, I’m may be just an old cracka’, but somehow I don’t believe that being a “Feminist” means that you grope women and show off your shortcomings to them without their consent.

Considering the way that Liberal Democrats have talked down to the American Public, both as politicians and member of the Main Stream Media for the past few decades, this exercise in political cannibalism by them is both well-deserved and highly entertaining.

And, it couldn’t happen to a more deserving bunch of hypocrites.

An Attitude of Ingratitude: Why Trump Was Right to Respond to LaVar Ball

lavar-ball-donald-trump-war-twitter

Most people return small favors, acknowledge medium ones and repay greater ones – with ingratitude. – Benjamin Franklin

Which is your top priority in life, the welfare of your children or your politics?

FoxNews.com reports that

President Trump on Sunday responded to the father of one of the UCLA basketball players detained in China on shoplifting charges after the man snubbed the president’s successful effort to get the teammates released, saying, “I should have left them in jail.”

The president responded after LaVar Ball, the outspoken father of UCLA player LiAngelo Ball, downplayed Trump’s effort.

Trump said while on his recent trip to Asia, at the same time the players allegedly shoplifted in China during a basketball tournament, that he had spoken directly with Chinese President Xi Jinping about the matter.

“Who?” LaVar Ball later told ESPN. “What was he over there for? Don’t tell me nothing. Everybody wants to make it seem like he helped me out.”

Trump tweeted Sunday: “Now that the three basketball players are out of China and saved from years in jail, LaVar Ball, the father of LiAngelo, is unaccepting of what I did for his son and that shoplifting is no big deal. I should have left them in jail!”

Later Sunday, Trump tweeted again, saying, “Shoplifting is a very big deal in China, as it should be (5-10 years in jail), but not to father LaVar. Should have gotten his son out during my next trip to China instead. China told them why they were released. Very ungrateful!”

LiAngelo Ball, one of three UCLA players accused of shoplifting, thanked the president upon returning last week to the United States.

Freshmen Ball, Jalen Hill and Cody Riley arrived at Los Angeles International Airport on Tuesday from Shanghai. They each thanked Trump during a press conference Wednesday about the incident.

The players were detained in Hangzhou for questioning following allegations, before the 23rd-ranked UCLA Bruins beat Georgia Tech in their season-opening game in Shanghai as part of the Pac-12 China game. The rest of the UCLA team returned home earlier.

Trump said Tuesday he had a long conversation about the three players’ status with his Chinese counterpart.

Ball’s outspoken father, LaVar, whose eldest son, Lonzo, plays on the NBA’s Los Angeles Lakers team, was in China at the time of the incident. He spent some time promoting the family’s Big Baller Brand of athletic shoes.

The word “ungrateful” hardly covers LaVar Ball’s reaction to the President recuing his son and two other UCLA Basketball Players from serving 4-10 years in a Chinese Jail.

Like some many other self-proclaimed “Smartest People in the Room”, Ball has allowed his visceral hatred of the 45th President of the United States of America, along with his own oversized ego, to present a crystal-clear explanation to the world as to whom his son inherited his lack of a moral compass from.

Being a college basketball fan, and a graduate of a university with a storied basketball history, I have watched athletes arrive to a school with their head two sizes too big, jacked up by an entourage, or “posse”, and doting parents with dollar signs in their eyes.

Of course, this places the university and the basketball coach at a disadvantage from the get-go, because a loud mouth such as Ball will never let them properly discipline their future ticket to millions of dollars.

It will be interesting to see what Ball has to say about any discipline which may be measured out to his “pride and joy” by UCLA.

President Trump’s response to this blowhard was spot on.

It is past time to stop ignoring boorish behavior by the American Left.

It is time to call them out on it.

And, Trump’s ability to do that is one of the things which average Americans appreciated about him, leading to his victory in the 2016 Presidential Election.

On another point, I have a question:

What did this fool think that he was accomplishing by showboating and being an ingrate?

If he wanted attention, he certainly got it.

It may have built up his “street cred”, however, it did cast aspersions on his sanity and raised the possibility of a double-digit I.Q.

Has the hatred of American Liberals so corrupted them, that they cannot even thank a United States President for saving their child from being locked away for years in a foreign prison?

At least his son said “thank you” to President Ttump.

Although, the University probably made him so it.

America’s Pharisees: Liberals and the Main Street Media Judge Christians Who Support Moore to be “Immoral” – A KJ Sunday Morning Reflection

untitled (191)

Then Jesus said to the crowds and to his disciples, “The scribes and the Pharisees sit on Moses’ seat, so practice and observe whatever they tell you—but not what they do. For they preach, but do not practice.” – Matthew 23: 1-3

“I respect women. I don’t respect men who don’t.” – Senator Al Franken (D- Minn.)

Newsbusters.org reports that

They began the week-in-review segment on Friday’s PBS NewsHour with the Al Franken groping scandal, and both liberal Mark Shields and pseudoconservative David Brooks felt that Franken’s offense was minor compared to the Roy Moores and Bill Clintons…and Donald Trumps.

Brooks repeated his recent Charlie Rose line that Clinton’s impunity in these matters in the 1990s created a hostile environment for all women – and then added a new spin for “balance.” Christian defenders of Roy Moore at this point are practicing “idolatry” and are simply “heretics,” he proclaimed.

“DAVID BROOKS: If I could add one thing on the — first on the Clinton thing, I think it’s — we just have to look back and say the people who ignored the testimony of Kathleen Willey and Juanita Broaddrick helped set the stage for this. And the Democrats who defended Clinton in those cases, they helped set the atmosphere for what we’re seeing and for the behavior that Harvey Weinstein and the rest can get away with.

The second thing to be said is, there is a word for what defenders of Roy Moore are doing, the people who said they were vote for him nonetheless, and — well, two words. One word is idolatry, and the other word is heresy, because the people who are putting — who are going to sacrifice morality for politics are making an idol out of politics.

They’re saying politics is higher than morality. And no honest person can possibly believe that. And if you’re putting politics above personal morality, above the way we treat each other, above the nature of your own soul, you’re just — you’re making an idol out of it. And that is the ultimate in heresy. And to see — I saw a tweet from Franklin Graham, Billy Graham’s son, defending Moore, you know, sort of, oh, they’re all a bunch of hypocrites up there. It’s just appalling. It’s just — it’s almost mind-boggling that people who — especially people who have been steeped in any faith could make this kind of fundamental error, which is warned against again and again in the Bible, and to be heretics. They’re heretics.”

One can understand the “making an idol out of politics” part, but “heresy” means something different to religious folks than it does to David Brooks. It means a false teaching against the core teachings of Christianity, a rejection of orthodoxy. He’s not exactly separating church and state on the special election. Personally, I think the charges against Moore are serious enough that I would withhold my vote from him. But a Christian could look at the two choices left on the ballot and say if I need a Senator to vote against abortion, against the LGBT agenda, and for religious liberty, one cannot vote for the Democrat. That would be closer to a heretical vote, if we’re buying the Brooks definition.

Franklin Graham spoke to Roy Moore on the phone, and is accepting Moore’s denials of wrongdoing. He tweeted “The hypocrisy of Washington has no bounds. So many denouncing Roy Moore when they are guilty of doing much worse than what he has been accused of supposedly doing. Shame on those hypocrites.” This drew angry tweets from CNN’s Jake Tapper and Andrew Kaczynski. But on its face, if Rev. Graham is talking about the Clintons and their defenders, then he has a point. The Broaddrick rape charge is a very serious charge that a vast majority of liberal journalists have dismissed as fake news for decades — which makes them look hypocritical on Moore.

(No one at PBS is going to bring up how Brooks dumped his wife of 28 years to marry his researcher, Anne Snyder, 23 years his junior. So he’s nobody’s moral teacher.)

On Franken, Shields admitted that “for a party that has based an awful lot of its appeal on identity politics, that we are the women’s party, that we believe in women’s rights, that we respect women, and that Republicans don’t, this is a body blow. And Al Franken has been a major fund-raiser for Democrats, and he has been an aggressive inquisitor on committees and — representing the Democrats. So, I think it is serious.”

But then substitute anchor Hari Sreenivasan noted Trump had tweeted against Franken, so “Does this at this point open him up to a line of criticism, saying, well, if this is what you’re going to say about this person that was accused of misconduct, what about the 15 or so women who have publicly come out against you?” Shields unloaded on the president as a draft dodger and shameless smear artist:

“MARK SHIELDS: Well, I guess I should not be surprised that somebody who found a friendly family podiatrist in 1968 to avoid the military draft and to not serve his country in Vietnam, and then went on to attack and disparage the heroic service of John McCain, who spent five and a half years as a prisoner of war, and saw no inconsistency in that hypocrisy, indefensibility, morality — morally about what he did, I shouldn’t be surprised that he, facing charges — having pledged that he was going to sue these women who had accused him of sexual harassment, sexual molestation and worse, and never having initiated any kind of action, never having responded to them, would go after Al Franken and duck the Roy Moore matter.

I mean, why he’d want to — it just invites the replaying of the “Access Hollywood” tape and his own how-to manual on how to molest women and how, if you’re rich and powerful, women are irresistible or indefensible to what you do. I mean, so, I guess I shouldn’t be surprised. But, still, he does surprise me from time to time on his shamelessness. He’s a shameless man.”

Nowhere in this PBS discussion is there any questioning the timing or the liberal tilt of The Washington Post, who for whatever reason couldn’t locate these charges until the very convenient (for Democrats) time that Alabama could not change the ballot. There was no reflection by Brooks that the Post sat on its Juanita Broaddrick story in 1999 — as did NBC News — until Bill Clinton was safely spared in a Senate impeachment trial. So are they hypocrites, or heretics? Once again, the press doesn’t discuss its own political manuevering.

Have you ever heard the old expression “One lies and the other swears to it.”?

Whoever came up with it must have had today’s Democratic Party and Main Stream Media in mind.

In the case of Judge Roy Moore, as I have archived in a previous post, he almost lost his judgeship because he refused to remove a plaque of the Ten Commandments from his courtroom.

Does that sound like an individual who would have the morals of an alley cat?

The Judge has been well-known to be a Christian Conservative for a long time.

So far that has been no evidence produced that he has ever been anything but what he claims to have been all of his life.

On the other hand, the Modern American Liberals and the political party which they control, the Democrats, appear to be imploding like vampires exposed to sunlight with new accusations of sexual harassment coming forth every day from coast to coast.

Still, they seen to be pretty much oblivious to these accusations, as the above article references.

Just as the vainglorious Pharisees in Christ’s time, these new Pharisees have their noses so far up into the air that they fail to recognize their own sin while accusing others of sinful behavior.

And, now that Americans are reminding them of their political party’s own “discretions”, like President Clinton and Monica, they have doubled down on cluelessness in their attempt to sabotage Judge Moore’s campaign.

The Democrats have lost all their credibility by launching witch hunt after fruitless witch hunt against Republican Candidates.

Given their Liberal belief system, which includes approval of ripping babies out of their mother’s womb and turning the sacred ceremony of marriage into a justification ritual for the same behavior that got Sodom and Gomorrah wiped off the map, that’s one heck of a Glass House that they’re throwing stones from.

I am glad for their sakes that the Libs in the Democratic Party and the Main Stream Media can reach back and “snatch a little purity” as Paul Simon wrote and sang in his song “Loves Me Like a Rock”.

However, they are fooling no one with their claims to possess the Moral High Ground.

For as Christ said in James 2:19…

You believe that there is one God. Good! Even the demons believe that–and shudder.

And, as regards their Liberal Hypocrisy, Matthew 7:5 gives the Democratic Party and their Propaganda Arm, the Main Stream Media, some great advice…

You hypocrite, first take the log out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to take the speck out of your brother’s eye.

John Podesta Pens Whiney Op Ed About Trump….While Sitting in His Glass House

untitled (198)

“People who live in glass houses shouldn’t throw stones.” – American Proverb

A few days ago, John Podesta posted the following editorial in The Washington Post

Okay, it’s official. President Trump wants to upend 230 years of constitutional history and principle to run the U.S. justice system like a banana republic, or perhaps more aptly like what now passes for the rule of law in the country he aspires to emulate, the Russian Federation.

What the Founding Fathers built with a written Constitution and 85 Federalist Papers, the president is trying to tear down 140 or 280 characters at a time.

For months, Trump has been trying to divert attention from the walls closing in on his former campaign chairman, his former national security adviser and his own son Donald Trump Jr., who are caught up in the investigation by special counsel Robert S. Mueller III. Trump has practiced some of the favorite tactics of his role model Vladimir Putin, labeling any damaging revelation as “fake news” and practicing a refined form of “whataboutism.”

I have been one of the favorite targets of the latter. Whenever Trump gets close to Putin, as he did in Vietnam this weekend, and is asked about Russian efforts to help elect him and damage Hillary Clinton by, among other things, criminally hacking my personal email account, he responds by asking: What about the Clintons? What about John Podesta? The Justice Department should look into them.

But what appeared to be a typically Trumpian media damage-control strategy has taken a more lawless and sinister turn. This week, it was reported that Attorney General Jeff Sessions — in an apparent effort to appease Trump — is considering appointing a special counsel to investigate Clinton’s role in approving the purchase of Uranium One, a company that owned uranium mines in the United States, by Russia’s nuclear energy agency. This matter was thoroughly and exhaustively examined by the mainstream media during the 2016 campaign, leading to the definitive conclusion that Clinton played no role.

That didn’t stop Trump from pounding his “beleaguered” attorney general, as recently as Nov. 3, to demand that the Justice Department open a criminal investigation of his defeated opponent. And now it appears that Sessions, weakened by the constant attacks from the president he serves, could succumb to that pressure.

In an almost tragicomic echo of Richard Nixon’s statement to John Dean, “it’s wrong, that’s for sure,” Sessions in testimony to the House Judiciary Committee on Tuesday said “the Department of Justice can never be used to retaliate politically against opponents, and that would be wrong.” Except that seems to be precisely what is going on.

This is what authoritarians and tyrants do. They use the instruments of state power, particularly the wrath of the prosecutor, to rain opprobrium down upon citizens with whom they disagree. It is what Putin did by using the Russian penal system to break the back of Sergei Magnitsky’s anti-corruption campaign and end his life. Our constitutional system of limited power, checks and balances and individual rights has protected us from such abuses of power. Trump is putting that system to the test.

The first line of defense against authoritarianism is an independent Justice Department committed to the rule of law. In 1940, Attorney General (and future Supreme Court Justice) Robert Jackson, in a famous speech to U.S. attorneys in the Great Hall of the Department of Justice warned that when “the prosecutor picks some person whom he dislikes or desires to embarrass, or selects some group of unpopular persons and then looks for an offense, that [is where] the greatest danger of abuse of prosecuting power lies. It is here that law enforcement becomes personal, and the real crime becomes that of being unpopular with the predominant or governing group.”

Sessions would do well to read the Jackson speech, and I would hope that he has the mettle to stand up to our imperious president. But his conduct in office does not give me much reason for hope.

As a younger man, when I came to work as a trial attorney at the Justice Department, it was impossible to enter the building without seeing the murals that majestically but plainly reminded us of our traditions and our duty. Justice is a hallowed place, if we keep it that way.

But if Sessions yields to pressure from the president and the president’s House Republican allies, it will be a dark day at the department I once proudly served. The rule of law will have been weakened, and our country will be in further peril.

When my friend Fossten, a fellow writer here at Sparta Report saw this op ed, he offered it to me thinking that I would have a field day with it.

If by “field day”, you meant “legendary KJ Rant” then I are certain that you won’t be disappointed my friend.

What has always ground my gears is that the Clintons and everyone who is associated with them, like Former Clinton Campaign Director and Professional Weasel John Podesta, believes themselves to be more pious than the monks who wrote the Gutenberg Bible and, as exhibited by the unadulterated BS in the above op ed, “The Smartest People in the Room”.

In the above article, John Podesta was trying his darndest to deflect the blatant illegality of the Uranium One Scandal.

That is not something that Podesta will be able to accomplish very easily.

Trust me. Like the Clintons themselves and his bother Tony, John Podesta is no angel.

For a while now, Alex Jones, owner and operator of the political website, InfoWars, who has been the subject of ridicule from both Conservatives and Liberals, has accused members of our government of being engaged in occult practices.

Danged if he wasn’t right.

In what is undoubtedly the most bizarre Wikileaks revelation to date, Clinton campaign chairman John Podesta was invited to a “spirit cooking dinner” by performance artist Marina Abramovic, to take part in an occult ritual founded by Satanist Aleister Crowley.

In an email dated June 28, 2015, Abramovic wrote, “I am so looking forward to the Spirit Cooking dinner at my place. Do you think you will be able to let me know if your brother is joining? All my love, Marina.”

Tony Podesta then forwarded the email to his brother John Podesta (Hillary Clinton’s campaign chairman), asking him, “Are you in NYC Thursday July 9 Marina wants you to come to dinner.”

What is “spirit cooking”?

Spirit cooking refers to “a sacrament in the religion of Thelema which was founded by Aleister Crowley” and involves an occult performance during which menstrual blood, breast milk, urine and sperm are used to create a “painting”.

According to Marina Abramovic, if the ritual is performed in an art gallery, it is merely art, but if the ritual is performed privately, then it represents an intimate spiritual ceremony.

The video embedded above depicts the bizarre nature of the ceremony. Abramovic mixes together thickly congealed blood as the “recipe” for the “painting,” which is comprised of the words, “With a sharp knife cut deeply into the middle finger of your left hand eat the pain.”

The ceremony is, “meant to symbolize the union between the microcosm, Man, and the macrocosm, the Divine, which is a representation of one of the prime maxims in Hermeticism “As Above, So Below.”

“Abramovic is known for her often-gory art that confronts pain and ritual. Her first performance involved repeatedly, stabbing herself in her hands. The next performance featured her throwing her nails, toenails, and hair into a flaming five-point star — which she eventually jumped inside of, causing her to lose consciousness,” writes Cassandra Fairbanks.

Another image shows Abramovic posing with a bloody goat’s head – a representation of the occult symbol Baphomet.

Some are even linking the spirit cooking revelation to claims that the Podesta emails contain “code for child sex trafficking” that is hidden behind mentions of types of food.

Others are connecting it to Laura Silsby, the missionary who was jailed for six months after her organization, New Life Children’s Refuge, attempted to smuggle 33 children out of Haiti into the Dominican Republic after the 2010 Haiti earthquake.

Wikileaks emails reveal that Hillary’s top aide Huma Abedin forwarded numerous articles about New Life Children’s Refuge to Clinton.

“Julian Assange claimed that the Wikileaks would send Hillary Clinton to prison,” writes Cernovich. “The releases initially disappointed many people, this reporter included, as the evidence of corruption was slim. Assange was right. The real story was hidden in view.”

While the child trafficking and pedophile connections to Clinton remain unproven, the fact that her campaign chairman is apparently into spooky occult rituals involving menstrual blood and semen is easily one of the most disturbing Wikileaks revelations to date.

So, piety from Podesta is as ludicrous as Madonna claiming virginity.

This guy revels in being around political power.

That’s why he’s buddies with the “Queen of Mean”.

As the past couple of weeks have shown, even Liberals in the public eye are not immune in this present day and age from having the skeletons in their closet paraded out for all Americans to take stock of.

Just like the actors and actress in Hollywood and Senator Al Franken are finding out…

When you point a finger at somebody, there are three more pointing back at you.

Democrats Turn on Franken. ‘Bama Republicans Support Moore. Worm Turns. Schadenfreude Ensues.

Franken-600-LI (2)

Every picture tells a story, doesn’t it?

FoxNews.com reports that

Democrats lashed out at Sen. Al Franken, D-Minn., Thursday after Los Angeles TV and radio host Leeann Tweeden accused him of kissing and groping her during a USO tour in 2006, with at least two female lawmakers pledging to return campaign funds raised for them by Franken’s political action committee.

Leaders of both parties in the Senate called for an ethics investigation of Franken, a request echoed by the senator himself, Democratic National Committee Chairman Tom Perez and House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif.

“The allegations brought forth are extremely disturbing,” Perez said in a statement. “Sexual misconduct, harassment, and assault are never acceptable, no matter one’s party or politics. The Senate should immediately begin an ethics investigation into Senator Franken’s conduct.”

Pelosi said any “credible allegation” should be subject to an ethics probe, telling Fox News “We are at a watershed moment and now is the time for Congress to overhaul how it deals with the issue of sexual harassment.”

Sen. Claire McCaskill, D-Mo., went a step further, tweeting that she had donated $30,000 in campaign contributions from Franken’s Midwest Values PAC to food banks in her home state.

McCaskill said she was “shocked and concerned” by Tweeden’s allegations against Franken, who was elected to the Senate in 2008.

“Comedy is no excuse for inappropriate conduct,” McCaskill’s statement added.

Sen. Tammy Baldwin, D-Wis., announced that she planned to donate $20,000 raised by Franken’s PAC to a group working on behalf of female veterans in the state.

“This type of behavior isn’t acceptable whether it’s from a Democrat or a Republican or an independent,” Baldwin, who is up for re-election next year, told MSNBC in an interview.

Another prominent Democratic woman, Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand of New York, reportedly planned to donate $12,500 in campaign funds to Protect our Defenders, a nonprofit group dedicated to combating sexual assault in the military.

“The allegations against Sen. Franken are deeply concerning,” Gillibrand posted on Twitter. “This kind of behavior is unacceptable and should not be tolerated anywhere in our society. There is nothing funny about it and there is no excuse for it.”

Franken’s fellow Minnesota Democrat, Amy Klobuchar, said, “This should not have happened to Leeann Tweeden. I strongly condemn this behavior, and the Senate Ethics Committee must open an investigation.”

A spokeswoman for Klobuchar, who has received at least $15,000 from Midwest Values PAC, did not immediately respond to queries from Fox News about the senator’s plans for the money.

In a series of statements, the National Republican Senatorial Committee (NRSC), singled out eleven Democratic senators and called on them to return their donations from Midwest Values PAC.

“If [senator’s last name] won’t immediately denounce Franken and return his donations, it will be clear [he or she] puts partisan politics over basic decency,” each statement read.

The senators named by the NRSC were McCaskill; Baldwin; Joe Manchin of West Virginia; Jon Tester of Montana; Tim Kaine of Virginia; Joe Donnelly of Indiana, to whom the NRSC referred as “Mexico Joe”; Debbie Stabenow of Michigan; Bob Casey of Pennsylvania; Bill Nelson of Florida; Heidi Heitkamp of North Dakota and Sherrod Brown of Ohio.

Of the eleven, only McCaskill and Baldwin had announced plans to return the money Thursday evening.

Don’t hold your breath waiting for the Dems to return that money, boys and girls.

Yesterday on his radio program, Rush Limbaugh, as he is want to do, analyzed the situation which the bunch of jackasses known as the Democratic Party find themselves in.

Now, this guy has been all over the place. When the Weinstein story breaks there’s our old buddy Al making a big show of giving all the money Weinstein gave to women’s abuse centers. He has sponsored legislation that would penalize all kinds of bad activity against women. And you know what they say? A guy that gets caught doing it once doesn’t just do it once.

But here’s the problem for the Democrats. The Democrats are going to town disqualifying, trying to get rid of Roy Moore, and the Republicans have joined them in this. Everybody in Washington wants Roy Moore nowhere near that town. They are going into every weapons depot they’ve got for every weapon they’ve got against this guy. Republicans and Democrats alike.

Now, the Democrats are doing this because they want the seat in Alabama. They don’t want Roy Moore there. And they’re using this as a pretext to get rid of Trump in future impeachment proceedings, not Russia, not collusion, but this stuff. And that’s another reason why so many of these journalists who gave Bill Clinton a pass are now turning tail and basically saying, “You know, we blew it. We were too young, we didn’t know what was going on, we do now, and what Bill Clinton did was terrible and horrible.”

They’ve got to do that if they’re gonna go after Trump. Now, one of the things that you’re not seeing as they go after Bill Clinton is going after Hillary, but that’s gonna have to happen too because they’ve gotta get rid of her. They don’t want her any longer being the face of the Democrat Party. So in the midst of this, in the midst of creating this picture that this Republican is a pervert, a creep, a scumbag, human debris, here comes old reliable Al Franken with an actual photo of the abuse.

With Roy Moore we have allegations and a possibly forged high school yearbook. With Trump we have the Access Hollywood video where he’s talking to Billy Bush about things, but there is no photographic evidence. With Al Franken there is. Mitch McConnell has already said that there needs to be a serious Ethics Committee investigation into Franken. The Democrats, what are they gonna do here? They can’t defend this. Although I wouldn’t put it past them to try, given their close association, friendship with the Drive-By Media.

But it really presents a problem, because this is something you can’t ignore, because there’s a photo of it. And everything that we’ve heard now in this effort to get rid of Moore, what is it? We’ve got to believe the women. Everybody under the sun is saying the women don’t lie. The women have to be believed. Everybody’s saying it about the women involved with Roy Moore.

Here comes Leeann Tweeden. Are they gonna say, “Well, we need further investigation. We can’t just take the woman’s word for it.” Are they gonna that? They can’t do that. Well, I say they can’t do that, but these people are capable of anything.

…Al Franken has joined the call for an ethics investigation into himself. I tell you what I think they’re gonna try to do here. I think they’re gonna try to skate. I think they are gonna rely on the media dropping this and not covering this and they’re gonna try to make it as though this didn’t even happen. Mark my words.

The problem that the Democrats face in their quest to make believe that Al Franken’s “abuse problem” does not exist and never did, is the fact that is documented via photograph.

Now, a lot of honest working people tend to tune out the Cable News Channels’ “Talking Heads”, especially if they are Liberals. But, that picture of Al Franken in the act of groping an unconscious Leeann Tweeden, while grinning like a schoolboy who just found his father’s hidden stash of Playboy Magazines, speaks louder that any weasel words of the Democrat Leadership or their Propaganda Arm, the Main Stream Media.

Adding to the smile on my face as I write this post tonight is the fact that the Alabama Republican Party has told the Vichy Republicans up on Capitol Hill to take a running jump. They are standing alongside Judge Roy Moore as their Senatorial Candidate.

After what seems like an eternity of Pharasetical pontificating by the Main Stream Media and the Democrats over the hearsay evidence in the case of Judge Moore, it is a delicious bit of Schadenfreude for them to be hit between the eye by their own hypocrisy, in a scene reminiscent of the classic Three Stooges Short, “In the Sweet Pie and Pie”, where they had a gigantic pie fight break out in the middle of a high society soiree.

All of the hoi polloi were hit in the mush by a flying pie.

One can only hope that this scandal involving the unfunny Al Franken was simply the first pie of many to find its mark.

The worm is turning.

Liberal Hypocrisy and the Alinsky Playbook: Defend “Boudoir Bubba” Clinton. Savagely Attack Judge Roy Moore.

US-VOTE-DEBATE

12. “Pick the target, freeze it, personalize it, and polarize it.“ Cut off the support network and isolate the target from sympathy. Go after people and not institutions; people hurt faster than institutions. – from “Alinsky’s 12 Rules for Radicals”

As the good name of Judge Roy Moore continues to be besmirched every day by the Liberal Main Stream Media, some Liberals have finally figured out that perhaps they did not respond properly in the case of the sexual misconduct of Former President Bill “Bubba” Clinton, a guy who has been around more times than the turnstiles at Disney World.

Gee, DiNozzo. Ya think?

The Ultra-Liberal New York Times reports that

Another woman went on national television this week to press her case of sexual assault by a powerful figure. But the accused was not Roy S. Moore or Harvey Weinstein or Donald J. Trump. It was Bill Clinton. “I feel like people are starting to believe and realize that I was truly sexually assaulted by Bill Clinton,” Juanita Broaddrick said on Fox News nearly two decades after first going public with her story. “All victims matter. It doesn’t matter if you’re a Democrat or a Republican. Who cares if you’re straight or you’re gay, or if you believe in God or not. We all have a right to be believed.”

The cultural conversation about women, power and sexual misconduct that has consumed the United States in recent weeks has now raised a question that is eagerly promoted by those on the political right just as it discomfits those on the political left: What about Bill? While Fox News and other conservative outlets revive years-old charges against Mr. Clinton to accuse Mr. Moore’s critics of hypocrisy, some liberals say it may be time to rethink their defense of the 42nd president.

Matthew Yglesias, a liberal blogger who once worked at the Center for American Progress, a pillar of the Clinton political world, wrote on Vox.com on Wednesday that “I think we got it wrong” by defending Mr. Clinton in the 1990s and that he should have resigned. Chris Hayes, the liberal MSNBC host, said on Twitter that “Democrats and the center left are overdue for a real reckoning with the allegations against him.”

Caitlin Flanagan, a social critic who calls herself a “lifelong Democrat, an enemy of machine feminism and a sexual assault survivor,” wrote on The Atlantic’s website that “the Democratic Party needs to make its own reckoning of the way it protected Bill Clinton.” Michelle Goldberg wrote a New York Times column headlined, “I Believe Juanita.” David Rothkopf, a former Clinton administration official, said Monica S. Lewinsky “deserves an apology from many of us she has never received.”The emerging revisionism may influence a historical legacy that Mr. Clinton and his allies have spent the past 17 years scrubbing of scandal. Despite his impeachment on perjury and obstruction for covering up sexual liaisons with Ms. Lewinsky, Mr. Clinton until lately had made progress in framing the national memory of his presidency as a time of peace and prosperity.

But the arrival of President Trump on the political stage has chipped away at that. To counter damage from the “Access Hollywood” tape recording him boasting about groping women as well as allegations by a number of women that it was more than just “locker room talk,” Mr. Trump recruited Ms. Broaddrick and other women who had accused Mr. Clinton to join him on the campaign trail last year.

The spate of sexual misconduct stories in recent weeks has brought those cases back into the public spotlight.

“It’s about time,” Kathleen Willey, another woman who accused Mr. Clinton of sexual harassment, said Wednesday in a telephone interview from her home in Richmond, Va. “We’ve waited for years for vindication.”

She expressed bitterness that liberals and feminists did not believe her or the other accusers at the time. “They’re hypocrites,” she said. “They worship at the altar of all things Clinton. They’re all over Roy Moore, but they had nothing to say about Bill Clinton when he was accused of doing what he was accused of doing.”

Some Democratic leaders rejected the comparison. “I don’t think there’s any double standard here,” Senator Chris Van Hollen of Maryland, the chairman of the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee, said last weekend on “Fox News Sunday.” “You were also talking in this case, as you know, about allegations of child sexual abuse.”

Mr. Clinton’s behavior, proved or otherwise, has long been an uncomfortable subject for Democrats. Many chose to defend him for his White House trysts with Ms. Lewinsky because, despite the power differential between a president and a former intern, she was a willing partner. To this day, Ms. Lewinsky rejects the idea that she was a victim because of the affair; “any ‘abuse’ came in the aftermath” when the political system took over, as she wrote in 2014.

Ms. Willey, Ms. Broaddrick and Paula Jones, however, described unwilling encounters. Ms. Jones asserted that Mr. Clinton, while he was governor of Arkansas and she was a state employee, summoned her to a hotel room, dropped his pants and requested oral sex. Ms. Willey, a former White House volunteer, accused him of kissing and groping her in the Oval Office. Ms. Broaddrick, an Arkansas nursing home owner, alleged that Mr. Clinton forced her to have sex during a meeting on the campaign trail in 1978.

Mr. Clinton’s lawyers have disputed all three charges, although he eventually paid $850,000 to settle a sexual harassment lawsuit by Ms. Jones without admitting wrongdoing, citing the political costs of continuing to fight it. None of those cases was part of the impeachment articles against Mr. Clinton, which rested on whether he lied under oath about his interactions with Ms. Lewinsky and coaxed her to lie, too. The House impeached him along party lines in December 1998, but the Senate acquitted him two months later.

Many Democrats condemned Mr. Clinton at the time, but they opposed his removal from office, citing what they considered the partisan nature of the attempt. The fact that some of his accusers willingly collaborated with Mr. Clinton’s conservative opponents troubled some. Others seized on inconsistencies in the women’s accounts. Ms. Broaddrick, for instance, initially denied that anything happened, saying later that she did so because she did not want to be dragged into the political arena. Ms. Willey later said she suspected the Clintons were somehow involved in the death of her husband, which was called a suicide.

Gloria Steinem, who at the time wrote a column generally defending Mr. Clinton, remains unmoved by time. “Most important is to listen to the women themselves,” she said in an email forwarded by her office on Wednesday. “Please watch Monica Lewinsky’s TED talk. It is important, moving and tells you who the abusers are.” She did not respond to questions about Ms. Broaddrick or the others.

Of course, many liberals and Democrats stood by Mr. Clinton despite the allegations because they agreed with his policy stances and did not want to reward those on the other side. Nina Burleigh, a journalist, wrote a column at the time joking that she would give Mr. Clinton oral sex for protecting abortion rights.

In an email on Wednesday, she said she did not mean to imply she supported sexual harassment. “As far as I know, Monica Lewinsky was a willing participant, not a victim,” she said. As for the other accusations against Mr. Clinton, she said, “Was he a Harvey Weinstein? I doubt it, but I have no evidence either way.”

Still, some on the other side in the 1990s have noticed a change. “Some of the same people who dismissed the women who came forward” then, “it seems like they’re evaluating these issues differently now than they did during that time,” said Gov. Asa Hutchinson of Arkansas, a Republican who was one of the House impeachment managers.

Mr. Clinton has kept publicly quiet amid the flurry of sexual misconduct stories lately, and his office had no comment on Wednesday. But other Democrats were not as willing to come to his defense this week. Of a dozen prominent political activists contacted on Wednesday, none went on the record on Mr. Clinton’s behalf.

Liberals always point the finger at others while ignoring their own hypocrisy.

Let’s look a little deeper at Bubba’s “excursions into exploring his sexuality”, shall we?

Back in the Bill Clinton era, White House advisor Betsey Wright coined the term “bimbo eruptions” to describe a long list of presidential gal pals. BIll “Bubba” Clinton’s Bimbo List” included, but is not limited to (I’m sure) Jennifer Flowers, Former Miss America Elizabeth Ward, Paul Corbin Jones, and, of course, Monica Lewinsky.

The Lewinsky scandal was a sensation that enveloped the presidency of Bill Clinton in 1998–99, leading to his impeachment by the U.S. House of Representatives and acquittal by the Senate.

Paula Corbin Jones, a former Arkansas state worker who claimed that Bill Clinton had accosted her sexually in 1991 when he was governor of Arkansas, had brought a sexual harassment lawsuit against the president. In order to show a pattern of behavior on Clinton’s part, Jones’s lawyers questioned several women believed to have been engaging in sex  with him. On Jan. 17, 1998, Bubba took the stand, becoming the first sitting president to testify as a civil defendant.

During this testimony, Clinton denied having had an affair with Monica S. Lewinsky, an unpaid intern and later a paid staffer at the White House who worked in the White House from 1995–96. Lewinsky had earlier, in a deposition in the same case, also denied having such a relationship. Kenneth Starr, the independent counsel in the Whitewater case, had already received tape recordings made by Linda R. Tripp (a former coworker of Lewinsky’s) of telephone conversations in which Lewinsky described her involvement with the president. Asserting that there was a “pattern of deception,” Starr obtained from Attorney General Janet Reno permission to investigate the matter.

The president publicly denied having had a relationship with Lewinsky and charges of covering it up. His adviser, Vernon Jordan, denied having counseled Lewinsky to lie in the Jones case, or having arranged a job for her outside Washington, to help cover up the affair. Hillary Clinton claimed that a “vast right-wing conspiracy” was trying to destroy her husband, while Republicans and conservatives portrayed him as immoral and a liar.

In March, Jordan and others testified before Starr’s grand jury, and lawyers for Paula Jones released papers revealing, among other things, that Clinton, in his January deposition, had admitted to a sexual relationship in the 1980s with Arkansas entertainer Gennifer Flowers, a charge he had long denied. In April, however, Arkansas federal judge Susan Webber Wright dismissed the Jones suit, ruling that Jones’s story, if true, showed that she had been exposed to “boorish” behavior but not sexual harassment; Jones appealed.

In July, Starr granted Lewinsky immunity from perjury charges, and Clinton agreed to testify before the grand jury. He did so on Aug. 17, then went on television to admit the affair with Lewinsky and ask for forgiveness. In September, Starr sent a 445-page report to the House of Representatives, recommending four possible grounds for impeachment: perjury, obstruction of justice, witness tampering, and abuse of authority.

On Dec. 19, Clinton became the second president (after Andrew Johnson) to be impeached, on two charges: perjury—in his Aug., 1998, testimony—and obstruction of justice. The vote in the House was largely along party lines.

In Jan., 1999, the trial began in the Senate. On Feb. 12, after a trial in which testimony relating to the charges was limited, the Senate rejected both counts of impeachment. The perjury charge lost, 55–45, with 10 Republicans joining all 45 Democrats in voting against it; the obstruction charge drew a 50–50 vote. Subsequently, on Apr. 12, Judge Wright, who had dismissed the Jones case, found the president in contempt for lying in his Jan., 1998, testimony, when he denied the Lewinsky affair. In July, Judge Wright ordered the president to pay nearly $90,000 to Ms. Jones’s lawyers. On Jan. 19, 2001, the day before he left office, President Clinton agreed to admit to giving false testimony in the Jones case and to accept a five-year suspension of his law license and a $25,000 fine in return for an agreement by the independent counsel, Robert W. Ray (Starr’s successor), to end the investigation and not prosecute him.

In a later interview, Hillary claimed that Bill suffered childhood abuse which may have caused him to philanderer and experience “bimbo eruptions” later in life. She described her philandering husband as “a hard dog to keep on the porch”.

In hindsight, it would have probably would have been a less unwanted image if Hillary would have called Bubba “a difficult dog to keep on the porch”, instead.

Just sayin’.

As we return to the present, we are witnessing the Trial By Media of Judge Roy Moore, Republican Candidate for Jeff Sessions’ vacated Senate Seat in Alabama.

As Judge Moore continues to experience a manufactured “Bimbo Eruption”, some striking differences between what is happening against him and the women who came forward against President Clinton are very clear.

There was not as long a period of time between Bubba’s actions and his accusers coming forth as there was in the case of Roy Moore.

And, the Democratic Establishment and the Main Stream Media did not take them seriously, as opposed to the sainthood status given to the accusers of Judge Moore.

And, as opposed to William Jefferson Blythe Clinton, Judge Roy Moore has not admitted to any inappropriate sexual behavior.

And finally, Judge Moore knows what the definition of what “is” is.

Until He Comes,

Is the “Trial By Media” of Judge Roy Moore a Bellweather for the Country?

Steve_Bannon_Mitch_McConnell

The following editorial appeared online at wsj.com last night as I was sitting down to write this post.

A famous country song aptly summed up where the Republicans are with Senate candidate Roy Moore in Alabama: You’ve got to know when to fold ’em.

There is no doubt a sense in which Mr. Moore deserves the opportunity to challenge accusations against him for acts alleged to have happened more than 30 years ago. Though too many women were too easily ignored in the past, we do not want to live in a country or political culture in which every accusation of sexual misconduct is automatically accepted as true. Accusers can be liars too.

But Mr. Moore isn’t in a courtroom today. He’s in the political arena in which a candidate has to maintain a minimal level of public credibility to survive. And his political situation has moved well beyond a more familiar she said/he said predicament.

Several women have made detailed accusations of sexual misconduct against Mr. Moore, and multiple people now say he was known for trolling shopping malls for young girls while in his 30s. Mr. Moore’s public defenses have also been less than convincing, not least that he doesn’t know his latest accuser, though he signed her yearbook.

Mr. Moore’s credibility has fallen below the level of survivability. Some of Mr. Moore’s presumed colleagues in the Senate have said they believe the women and that the judge should withdraw. Colorado’s Cory Gardner has suggested that even if Mr. Moore wins, the Senate should vote to expel him from the body. It’s a rare candidate who achieves that degree of political abandonment.

The sensible move would be for Mr. Moore to step away from the campaign and allow Alabama’s Republicans to put forth a more credible candidate to run as a write-in against Democrat Doug Jones. Most likely, Mr. Moore won’t do that. He made his reputation as an Alabama state judge by openly defying valid court orders, which twice cost him his court seat.

In the event that Mr. Moore refuses to drop out in the next day or so, President Trump might have more sway if he suggests that he leave the race. If Mr. Trump won’t do that, then the GOP will be better off if Mr. Moore loses, despite the blow to its Senate majority. Democrats and the media will make Mr. Moore the running mate of every Republican in 2018.

Alabama’s Republican voters are in a tough spot, and ideally they’d at least get the chance to choose between a prominent write-in candidate from their party or opt for sending a message by voting for the Democrat. For 25 years Democrats and feminists euphemized and apologized for Bill Clinton, starting with Gennifer Flowers before he was President. Republicans can show their standards are better.

There is one other obvious loser in this debacle: Former White House aide Steve Bannon. Some have argued that the Bannon insurgency against the Republican “establishment” is in the mode of earlier party challenges led by Ronald Reagan or Newt Gingrich. This one isn’t close. The populism of Reagan and Mr. Gingrich was always about building the conservative movement into a majority that could govern and change the country.

The Bannonites have given no evidence or argument that they are aiming that high. They want to defeat the existing majority—a conservative majority by any historical standard—mainly to show that they can depose Majority Leader Mitch McConnell.

They have no discernible governing agenda beyond trade protectionism and slashing immigration, and those often appear to be convictions of convenience. It is hardly a surprise therefore that instead of recruiting talented candidates, Mr. Bannon is collecting cranks and outliers like Roy Moore who, demonstrably, will take the GOP into the minority.

The lesson Republican voters should draw from the Moore mess is that their future lies with nominating candidates who want to achieve substantive policy goals, such as a serious reform of the tax code or confirming originalist judges, rather than pouring their emotions into a political fringe that will always find a way to lose.

Raging against the establishment for the sake of raging is an agenda for losers, and it will cost conservatives the votes in Congress they need to achieve conservative goals.

Well, gosh.

I am so glad that a bunch of stuffed shirts in (said in my best Pace Picante Sauce commercial voice) New York City, know what is best for voters in Alabama.

Evidently, those who are aligned with the DC Republican Establishment up in the Northeast Corridor are just as clueless as the Democratic Elite who believe that America would elect a stone cold bi…err….Hillary Clinton as our president.

Just as it is blatantly obvious that the “Trial By Media” of Judge Roy Moore is a set-up, it has also come into sharp focus as to who is ultimately pulling the strings of the marionettes involved and why.

Rush Limbaugh explained it all on his program yesterday, as only he can…

I think Roy Moore is actually Steve Bannon being told by Mitch McConnell, “Oh, yeah? You think you’re getting rid of me? Let me show you what’s gonna happen to everybody you nominate to try to get rid of me.” Because Bannon has said that his objective is to get rid of Mitch McConnell, not just as leader of the Republicans, but out of the Senate. But certainly he wants to oust McConnell as the Senate Republican majority leader.

McConnell may look like a turtle, he may talk like a turtle, he may walk like a turtle, but the guy is not the turtle. He’s the scorpion, and you are seeing the McConnell scorpion sting right now. And if it weren’t Roy Moore, it would be somebody else that Bannon had chosen to support who had become a Republican candidate with the objective being to get rid of Mitch.

…See, this is the thing about this story that, without even commenting on Moore’s guilt or innocence, it’s so obvious what’s happening here. It’s just patently obvious. They don’t want this guy in Washington. Nobody wants this guy elected anywhere near either political party. The establishment doesn’t. To hell with what the people of Alabama have done voting-wise. To hell with what the voters of Alabama want to happen, that it doesn’t matter. The parties do not want this guy anywhere near.

The latest is — believe this. Apparently if the Republican Party of Alabama, after the election, if Roy Moore wins it, they can essentially say, “You know what? We were not represented. This guy is not a Republican.” They can void the election outcome by simply claiming that he was not a Republican or that they don’t sanction the result because he’s not a Republican or he doesn’t represent, whatever. If the party pulls out and does not allow Moore the identification, then apparently they can void the election and start the whole process over.

So you’ve got McConnell responding to Bannon. There’s no question that’s a lot of what this is. But you’ve also got the swamp. Nobody in either party wanting this guy anywhere near Washington, DC. And it doesn’t matter what the voters want. It doesn’t matter. Just on the basis of allegations, it doesn’t matter, because there isn’t a conviction, there isn’t without-a-doubt proof or any of that. It’s just that they don’t want this guy anywhere near there. And that’s what they’re gonna make happen.

This is a microcosm of what they’re trying to do to Trump. They’re essentially trying to say Trump is not fit, Trump is not worthy, Trump is not justified. There’s a coup that’s been underway to essentially disregard the duly constituted presidential election of 2016.

From the day that Donald J. Trump announced his intentions to run for the office of the President of the United States of America, the sphincters of those in the Halls of Power of both Political Parties in Washington, D.C. have been puckered tighter than Rosie O’Donnell’s grip on a Thanksgiving Turkey Leg.

The Republicans tried every which way they could to take the nomination away from him at the Convention. When they failed, they resigned themselves to ride his coat tails to victory and deal with him once he got into office.

Since Trump assumed office, there have been two impediments to him keeping his promises to the American People: the Democratic Party…and the Republican Party.

For every promise that we hear from Paul Ryan, Mitch McConnell, and the rest of the G.O.P. that they are going to support and assist Trump in fulfilling his campaign promises, there are also deals being struck in the Congressional Coatroom, where “business as usual” has always been conducted on Capitol Hill.

The Establishment Republicans seem to be quite content, in their Moderately Left-leaning stupor, even after the mandate that We The People delivered to them on November 8th, 2016, to be totally oblivious and tone-deaf of their Base, average hard-working middle-class Americans like you and me.

You know, the people who actually put them into office.

They keep on making bad choices.

Spineless Vichy Republicans have been a barrier to Republican victory for as long as I can remember. Like Quakers, Establishment Republicans seem to believe that passive resistance and reaching out to their sworn enemies as “friends”, is the way to defeat those who oppose you.

It was especially bad during Obama’s reign, as the House and Senate Republican Leadership apparently cherished their friendship with the Democrats more than they did the wishes of the folks back home. Yes, they talked a good game, but so did Jon Lovitz in those “Liar Sketches” during the old days of Saturday Night Live, back when they were actually funny.

Yeah,  my wife Morgan Fairchild. Yeah, that’s it. That’s the ticket!

With the cries from the Establishment Republicans for Judge Roy Moore to end his campaign in Alabama, it is now very clear that the noble sentiments that we hear and the “Hail Fellow well met” reaction to the Populist Movement and President Trump himself that we see from Ryan, McConnell, and the rest of the entrenched Republicans are a reenactment of William Shakepeare’s “Julius Caesar”.

Beware the Ides of March.

Meanwhile, on the other side of the Political Aisle, you have San Fran Nan Pelosi and the rest of Democrats joining in the chorus to string Judge Moore up from the nearest tree…while ignoring all of their fellow Liberals and Democratic Donors in Babylon West, otherwise known as Hollywood.

Backing them up is the Main Stream Media, like the Associated Press, who word their articles about both Trump and Judge Moore very carefully in their role as the Propaganda Arm of the Democratic Party.

However, they can not hide their bias. Their hatred of anything to do with the “Uprising of “The Heartland Political Uprising” shines through in both their prose and the individuals they use as sources for their articles.

Those who Support the Republican Establishment in their effort to subjugate us “peons’ are just as didactic and condescending in their writings, as the above article by the Wall Street Journal clearly demonstrates.

To summarize, average Americans and the “political outsiders” whom we wish to see in power in DC are catching flack from both sides of the Political Aisle.

Clowns to the left of me…jokers to the right…here I am…

Everybody sing!

Just kidding.

If the Republican Establishment keeps mooning average Americans and showcasing their Spines of Jell-O, instead of supporting average Americans’ political choices, including President Trump and the mandate which the American People gave them on November 8, 2016, average Americans are going to show them what they think of them by decimating the  entrenched House and Senate Vichy Republicans in the Mid-Term Vote.

In summation, the American people are tired of Political Correctness and anti-American political expediencies being forced down our throats by both political parties looking out for their own personal interests and trumpeted by their lackeys in the Main Stream Media.

Political Outsiders, like President Trump and Judge Moore, with their straightforward no-nonsense way of talking to us, instead of down to us, are a breath of fresh air and, quite frankly an anomaly. They are not professional politicians who have made their fortunes up on Capitol Hill. They have actually worked for a living, alongside average Americans.

And, the Establishment Elite simply cannot have that.

GQ Names Colin Kaepernick “Man of the Year”and Hails Him as a “Hero”: Why They are Wrong. – A KJ Op Ed

untitled (180)

It’s ironic that we have now a quarterback who was adopted and raised by a white family, who was scouted and signed by white scouts, was employed by white owners, the National Football League, decides now to steal the stage of the National Football League to make personal statements during the week he is about to be cut from the team because of his inability to play.  I don’t now know if he’ll be cut.  It’s a question for the 49ers to deal with. – Rush Limbaugh, 8/29/16

Yahoo Sports reported yesterday that

It’s November, and that means numerous media outlets will be starting to look back at 2017 and all of the events and people that shaped the year and drove discussion.

Men’s magazine GQ is one of the first to do so, going a slightly different route with its 22nd annual “Man of the Year” selections – the publication announced three men and one woman on Monday, using four categories. Actress Gal Godot is named “Wonder Woman of the Year,” late-night host Stephen Colbert is “Bad Hombre of the Year” and two athletic stars garnered the final two: NBA Finals MVP Kevin Durant is “Champion of the Year,” and former San Francisco 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick is the publication’s “Citizen of the Year.”

“He’s been vilified by millions and locked out of the NFL—all because he took a knee to protest police brutality,” GQ editors wrote in an article about him, “Colin Kaepernick will not be silenced,” begins. “But Colin Kaepernick’s determined stand puts him in rare company in sports history: Muhammad Ali, Jackie Robinson—athletes who risked everything to make a difference.”

While so many have demanded that he do a splashy interview with one of sports media’s big names to promise that he really does love football and really does want to play and really can put football first over his activism and whatever other demands they feel they can make of a grown man that they haven’t made of other NFL players who are not currently employed, Kaepernick has largely stayed silent.

He did, however, actively work with GQ on this project, though he wasn’t quoted: he got some of his closest friends and advisers, from acclaimed filmmaker Ava DuVernay to legendary actor Harry Belafonte to his former 49ers teammate Eric Reid to his longtime girlfriend, Nessa, and others to speak on his behalf.

Kaepernick wanted to reclaim the narrative of his protest, the magazine explained, because while he enjoys his silence, he also understands that “silence creates a vacuum, and that if it doesn’t get filled somehow, someone else will fill it for him,” the magazine’s editorial team writes.

The 30-year-old did pose for photographs: on his cover, his afro is resplendent, and he’s wearing a black turtleneck and black leather blazer, a gold chain and pendant over the turtleneck. He’s staring straight ahead; his eyes look sad. In another, he wears a colorful dashiki, a garment with roots in West Africa and worn in other parts of the continent, and is surrounded by dozens of men, women and children.

Belafonte, who was one of Martin Luther King Jr.’s confidants during the Civil Rights movement, said, “In my 90th year of life, to see people like Colin Kaepernick having gotten the message and carrying the cause forward is the greatest reward I could ask for. Colin is a remarkable young man. The fact that he spoke out on police brutality against young black men—I thought it was absolutely admirable. I’m prepared to do anything it takes and whatever steps I can to support him if this insanity continues.”

GQ named another NFL quarterback, Tom Brady, among its men of the year in 2015.

The same cover for the magazine “GQ:, also known as “Gentleman’s Quarterly”, has featured in bold print in the upper right corner the words “America’s New Heroes”.

Really?

When I asked my computer for the definition of that word, bing.com responded

a person who is admired or idealized for courage, outstanding achievements, or noble qualities: “a war hero”

Let’s examine Mr. Kaepernick’s qualifications for this title, shall we?

“courage” – What inspired him to take a knee during the playing of the National Anthem at an NFL Game? Was he, in fact, kneeling because of some sort of perceived injustice to America’s black population by the men and women of America’s Municipal Police Forces, as alleged by those members of the NFLPA, who have been following his actions this year, like lemmings over a cliff in a Disney “Real Life Adventure” such as we grew up watching in our classrooms, decades ago?

Hardly. on 8/29/16, DailyCaller.com reported that

The report from sports gossip blog Terez Owens states, “As the entire world knows by now, San Francisco 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick refused to stand for the National Anthem in Friday’s pre-season game against Green Bay because he was protesting ‘black oppression’ in the United States. We’re now hearing that it was actually his girlfriend Nessa’s idea for Colin to protest. Colin and his girlfriend, Nessa Diab, an MTV DJ, are still planning an Islamic-style wedding.”

“outstanding achievements” – Kaepernick’s mother gave him up for adoption. He was adopted by the Kaepernicks, a well-off white couple, who already had two children. He went on to play college football at the University of Nevada, where he was named the Western Athletic Conference Offensive Player of the Year twice and became the only player in NCAA Division I FBS history to amass 10,000 passing yards and 4,000 rushing yards in a career. After graduating, he was selected by the San Francisco 49ers in the second round of the 2011 NFL Draft.

Nice life, great sports statistics, but hardly “heroic”. The NFL Owners must not be that impressed, either, as he is currently unemployed.

“noble qualities” – Showing a lack of respect for the national anthem and flag of the country which has given you the opportunity to make a ridiculous salary for playing a game which Americans grew up playing in their yards, is hardly an exercise in nobility.

Rather it is an act of petulance, brought about by a Liberal Popular Culture which has been molded and led by leaders who repeatedly tell young minds full of mush that America is a horrible, unjust nation, who is responsible for all the evils in this world.

During the Administration of Barack Hussein Obama, children and young adults, attending American Institutes of Learning from kindergarten to college campuses were taught by Liberal teachers and professors that America was “just another country” and to be a patriot was to somehow be close-minded, ignorant, and bigoted, not necessarily in that order.

What Colin Kaepernick, the still-employed NFL Players who have been protesting, and these “New American heroes which the Liberal Rag, “GQ” is presently lauding, fail to understand is the source of America’s exceptionalism as a Sovereign Nation.

Where the exceptionalism of America lies…is not in the Halls of Power…nor in the Halls of Academia. But, rather in the courage and spirit of the average American. A courage and spirit, which our history proves, has driven American Citizens to build a nation, which is indeed exceptional among all others.

The secret of this country’s exceptionalism is the “Average Joe”, the 9 to 5′er, working himself into the grave to try to provide for his family.

It was this same “Average Joe”, who fired the shot heard around the world and began the War for American Independence, who stormed the beaches of Normandy on D-Day in World War II, who waded through rice paddies in Vietnam, and who swallowed sand in Desert Storm and Desert Shield. The same “Average Joe” who, as a New York City Policeman or Fireman, ran up the stairs of the World Trade Center on 9/11/01, instead of running down them. The same “Average Joe”, who simply wants things to be easier in this life for his children and grandchildren, than he had it.

It is this same “Average Joe”, who takes family and friends in, when they are in the midst of a life-altering tragedy. The same “Average Joe”, who volunteers on a soup line or at a Senior Citizens Home, or, who begins a successful business in his basement.

These are America’s REAL “Heroes”.

And, it is this same “Average Joe” whom, being fed up with the Democratic Party’s Far Left Crusade against anything and everything traditionally American, went to the voting booth and elected Donald J. Trump, a Citizen Statesman, as our 45th President.

Average Americans no sooner believe that Donald J. Trump colluded with the Russians to “fix” the Presidential Election than they do that the Main Stream Media is objective.

And that, boys and girls, is why the NFL and the rest of the followers of America’s minority political philosophy, known as Liberals are still showing the world their posteriors while continuing to throw the longest mass temper tantrum in recorded history.

So, “GQ”, go ahead and call an ungrateful loser like Colin Kaepernick a “hero”.

Judging by the multitude of empty seats in NFL Stadiums last Sunday, it is very evident that you do not know what that word means.

As the NFL Dies, Ownership Committee to Discuss Contract Extension for Goodell. Are You Kidding Me?

DOcuFV7W0AAx4p0

The left has got this game in its sights. I have warned everybody about this. When I do, people think I’m a nut, a kook. “Nobody can bring down the NFL, what are you talking about, Rush? You see politics in everything and you think that these political forces on the left have the ability to bring about change.” What in the world is happening to our culture, folks? The left targets something it doesn’t like and they never give up and they keep going until they ruin it. And I’m telling you, National Football League is in their crosshairs right now. – Rush Limbaugh, September 10, 2014

ESPN.com reports that

The NFL’s Compensation Committee will hold a conference call Monday to discuss and further push ahead the proposed extension for commissioner Roger Goodell, sources confirmed to ESPN.

The conference call, first reported Saturday by The New York Times, comes after Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones voiced his displeasure about the contract extension that the committee has been discussing. The call also gives the committee a chance to do what it believes is right.

An attorney for Cowboys owner Jerry Jones says NFL owners are being misled about negotiations on a contract extension for commissioner Roger Goodell, according to a letter that was sent to the league’s counsel and shared with NFL owners and executives.

The committee will address Goodell’s salary and compensation package. The last written counterproposal from Goodell, which was around the first of August, was seeking about $49.5 million per year, as well as the lifetime use of a private jet and lifetime health insurance for his family, according to a source familiar with the negotiations.

Joe Lockhart, the executive vice president of communications, denied that Goodell had submitted such a written counterproposal. He also said there have been several meetings or conference calls among the compensation committee before Monday’s scheduled meeting.

The source who originally provided the information on Goodell’s “only written counterproposal” of $50 million with the perks is standing firm on the matter. The source only clarified that Goodell’s monetary proposal was for $49.5 million.

Goodell currently makes around $30 million per year.

One NFL owner told ESPN that there are “several owners in this league who don’t make $40 million a year.” The owner was referring to the salaries that owners take, which does not include the increase in valuations that each NFL franchise has undergone.

“That number for Roger just seems too much,” the owner said. “It’s offensive. It’s unseemly.”

One NFL executive told ESPN that the committee should pass a rule that prohibits Goodell from making more than the league’s highest-paid player.

An attorney for Jones has said that owners are being misled about the Goodell negotiations, according to a letter obtained by ESPN that was sent late Wednesday to the league’s counsel and shared with team owners and executives. Jones has threatened to file a lawsuit if Goodell’s extension is completed without final review or approval from the league’s 32 teams.

Brad Karp, the league’s outside counsel retained for this matter, said in response that Jones was uninformed or deliberately misleading other owners, a source told ESPN.

There also are those in the league who believe the only way Goodell would not stay on as commissioner would be if he walked away. But according to sources who know Goodell, this will not happen.

“Roger is defiant,” one NFL owner told ESPN this weekend. “He’s not going to resign; he’s not going to take a pay cut. He can stand to show some humility, but he won’t listen to staff.”

Those around Goodell do not believe he will leave the job, despite the protestations of a handful of owners.

“I don’t sense that at all from him,” one source who is regularly around Goodell told ESPN. “He has said he’s committed to it. He feels there are important issues he has to deal with.”

Yet there are issues that other owners aside from Jones are aware of, and they are wrestling now with how to best handle it.

“The problem is, no one is talking about games anymore,” one owner told ESPN this weekend. “It’s about concussions, Jones vs. Goodell, [Ezekiel Elliott’s suspension], the anthem. No one is talking about football. It’s just killing the game.”

I can explain the problem that the NFL now faces in three words…and the first two are “Roger Goodell”.

Last Thursday, Rush Limbaugh asked and answered the following rhetorical questions on his nationally syndicated radio program, which has a listener base of over 20 million Americans…

Why would somebody purposely want to steer something as large and, up until now perceived as apolitical, to the left? What is the left known for? What is the left proud of? What does the left want you to know about? They don’t like this country. They think this country has deep flaws. They think this country is racist. They think this country has a bunch of racist cops that are just wantonly murdering innocent black men. This is what the left thinks, among many other perverted and screwball things. Why would you purposely want to steer your league toward that identity, when you know that it’s going to alienate statistically half of your fans? Why would you want to do this? On the other hand, I could understand why you would want people to think that your league is patriotic, that it believes in the time-honored American principles of hard work and discipline and teamwork.

You know, there are several identifying characteristics of conservatism that I would fully expect a sports league and its executives to want to identify with. I could understand if a sports league chose not to actively appear to be moving in that direction because liberals — some of them — go to games. Some of them watch, and some of them buy sponsored products.

Up ’til now, the NFL, other than a couple of players and their endorsements of presidents, and until recently the owners even stayed out of it. The owners were involved, but you never knew about it. Dan Rooney of the Steelers openly came out for Obama. Others, like Bob Kraft in New England, came out for Trump. But aside from that, this league pretty much had an apolitical identity.

And then when this protest stuff started, it became clear that the executive leadership of the NFL was in fact siding with the players. They had no desire, despite I think everybody should stand for the anthem, they took not one step to make that happen. They continued to let the people playing the game inflict damage on it. Why would you do that? You have a business to run here.

Well, the answer to the question is found in what is liberalism. And if you are dyed-in-the-wool liberal, everything must be. And if you have a powerful executive position or any other kind of position and you’re liberal, you’ve got to use it to advance it, to spread it, and if that means taking your league in that direction because you believe in it, that’s what you do, whether it inflicts damage or not.

…The news about the NFL is about player suspensions, about wife beating, spousal abuse, what kind of penalties there are for it, and the media seems to eat this up, the sports media seems to relish reporting this stuff. You can watch them, you can see how excited they get talking about all this other stuff. And because they’re media and because the NFL is a big corporate entity, the fact the NFL might be being harmed by this is exciting because that’s one of the objectives of liberalism is to damage corporations ’cause they’re not people. They’re all suspects. But these media people are the ones living off of the success of the NFL, and there they are openly participating in what many people think is the downfall.

So now all of a sudden the commissioner comes out and says, “Fans attend our games to be entertained, not be protested to.” Where was this two months ago? Where was this a year and a half ago when Kaepernick got all this started? Where’s this been? Why now? Is it ’cause of Papa John’s leaving or threatening to? Some of this stuff, just from the standpoint of proper management, business thinking and decision-making, just flummoxes me.

And the answer is this is what liberalism is. It is a destructive force, and the people who believe in it and practice it believe that it must be forced on everybody, primarily because most people would not choose it. They have to be indoctrinated with it from very young age in school, they have to be propagandized about it, but if left to an open choice with a decent education, people will not choose it.

I take that back. Some will because you don’t have to do much to be a liberal. You just have to convince people you care about suffering. You don’t have to do anything about it. All you have to know is who to blame for it. And you can end up being a great liberal.

You guessed it. The third word that describes the problem that the NFL must now deal with is “Liberalism”.

It appears to this average American that Rush Limbaugh is exactly right about this fact that Roger Goodell and the Executive Staff of the National Football League sat back and ALLOWED the players and outside Liberal Influencers to drag the NFL to the point of almost inevitable demise.

And, as I have written before, it is now quite apparent to anyone with a lick of common sense that this organized protest by the NFL Players has NEVER been about  “Police Brutality” against black Americans.

It has always been about Donald J. Trump being elected the President of the United States of America.

Just like the “New Bolsheviks” which have been paid by Billionaire Financier and Far Left Activist George Soros and others to stage “spontaneous” protests since the night of November 8, 2016, these ongoing protests by the NFL Players were designed to humiliate the president in the eyes of the world and to somehow force his departure from office.

The problem for the Goodell, his staff, and the NFL Players Association is the fact that the American Public does not support their protests as exhibited by the scarcely filled stadiums across the league.

What makes these protests different from others, including those thrown by the fascists of Antifa, is the fact that the NFL is a Private Organization and the players are violating the rules of that organization by protesting ON THE JOB.

The American Public realize that…even if the players don’t.

Hence the 180 degree turn by Goodell, as seen in his statement that fans come to the games to be “entertained” and not “protested to”.

He is now trying to save his phony baloney job.

The NFL Chapter of the “New Bolsheviks” appear oblivious to the fact that they are in the process of slitting their own throats, monetarily. NFL Revenues are decreasing every week at an alarming rate and will continue to fall as these concussion-prone athletes parade their political ideology in front of an audience who did not wish to see or hear about it in the first place.

It appears to this average American, that if the NFL Team Owners do not purge the emphasis on protests powered by the minority political ideology known as Liberalism, fire Goodell, and stop the financial bleeding of the NFL immediately by forbidding the NFL Players from protesting on Company Time, Goodell will go down in history as the LAST COMMISSIONER OF THE NATIONAL FOOTBALL LEAGUE.

Liberals ruin everything.
