I’m 54 Today and I’m Not Taking It Anymore

jesterluteI’m 54 years old today.  It has been a remarkable journey.   Some years have passed by much too quickly.  Others have been as slow and painful as Morning Joe on MSNBC.   Some of the lessons that God has taught me have been more painful than others.  But, through it all, His Grace has been sufficient for my every need.

I’ve always had a big mouth.  One of the most painful lessons I’ve had to learn is when to keep it shut.  However, as I’ve gotten older, I’ve noticed that those who seek to impose their will on us, as a free nation, appear to be doing and saying whatever outrageous, hurtful, treasonous, and unpatriotic things that they want to, counting on all of us average, Christian Americans (78% of the population, per Gallup) to keep our collective mouths shut.

Well, you know what?  I’m 54 and I’m Not Taking It anymore.

05_08_11---Three-Crosses_webI’m not taking it anymore off of the less than 10 % of our population who are so self-involved and bitter in their belief that all of this fantastic Universe around us just happened, that they try to make Christians as bitter as they are.  Especially, this time of year as we celebrate the birth of our Savior.

These learned individuals completely ignore the writings of brilliant men, such as Ralph Waldo Emerson, who said:

All I have seen teaches me to trust the Creator for all I have not seen.

or G. K. Chesterton, who said:

When men stop believing in God, they don’t believe in nothing.  They believe in anything.

WashingtonPrayingOur nation was founded by people who wished to practice Freedom OF Religion, not Freedom FROM Religion. They were not led in their decision-making by an earthly king, but by their love for the heavenly King.

American Christianity is not comprised of empty rituals. It is fueled by an intrinsic understanding of where our freedoms come from, and Who gave them to us. It is a legacy of Faith handed down to us, generation through generation.

Just as my father, who landed on the beaches of Normandy, made sure that I got to Sunday School, so did I make that opportunity available to my daughter, step-sons, and grandson. I am blessed by the fact that one of those young men is in seminary as I write this.

Shake your fist and try to believe that Divine Providence had nothing to do with the growth of this nation, you will still find that the majority of Americans will not believe you.

hyenasI’m not taking it anymore from the bunch of amoral, treasonous hyenas controlling the entertainment industry.  These are the brilliant individuals who have brought us such cinematic masterpieces as Redacted and The Golden Compass and such high brow television entertainment like @#$% My Dad Says

In the music industry, the song  @#$% You! (which was sung on Glee as Forget You!) was, at one time, honored for an industry award.

I can remember when The Rolling Stones had to change the words to their hit, Let’s Spend the Night Together to Let’s Spend Some Time Together on The Ed Sullivan Show because of the CBS Censors.

By the way, they are on tour right now…sponsored by Geritol, I think.

spoiledlakerI’m not taking it anymore from spoiled, crybaby, collegiate, and professional athletes.  These young men have been gifted by God with extraordinary abilities, placing them in the spotlight. They are followed and proclaimed as role models by American’s youth.

Just last week, the Captain of the University of Memphis’ Basketball Team, walked away from a practice, telling the coach that he just “wasn’t that into it.”

He’s back with the team, now, after a game’s suspension and a “come to Jesus” meeting with the Coach.

Some leader. Gimme a break.

mitchdanielsI’m not taking it anymore from so-called Fiscal  Conservatives (i.e., Moderates and Liberals), who believe that whatever you want to smoke, whomever you want to sleep with, is fine and dandy, while expecting Social (Reagan) Conservatives to keep our mouths shut about where the GOP is headed, as it slowly swirls down the porcelain receptacle.

michellestinkeyeI’m not taking it anymore from the Obama’s, and the pinheaded bureaucrats and academicians in their administration who believe that they have the right to tell us how to raise and what to feed our children.

These are our children and grandchildren.  We will raise them as we see fit.

Not only do they want to tell us what we can feed to our children, they want to control what our Armed Forces eat! They want the finest fighting force in the world to run on arugula!

Feed our Brightest and Best steak every day! They deserve it!

I’m 54 years old. If I want to have Popeye’s Fried Chicken with mashed potatoes, fried okra, and biscuits, it’s none of your dadblamed business, Michelle (ma belle).  People in glass houses shouldn’t throw stones.  Have you surveyed your own Southern flank lately?

pelosigavelFinally, I’m not taking it anymore from Obama, his administration, his political party, and Congress.  These people are so riddled with self-importance, and so intellectually constricted by their self-imposed boundaries of the Beltway Elite society that they live in, that they have completely lost touch with the citizens of the country that they are supposed to represent.  They somehow believe that it is in their best interests to govern on behalf of the 18 % of Americans who identify themselves as being Liberals.

And, judging from the Fiscal Cliff Negotiations, those who don’t really believe in this Liberal/Progressive/Marxist ideology, don’t seem to possess the intestinal fortitude to man up and actually serve the people who elected them.

This oblivious pack of political scavengers seem bound and determined to gnaw as much meat off of the bones of the American Dream as they can.

However, as angered as I am by the irrational, amoral nature of American politics and popular culture, I always have hope.  My hope springs not from any political figure or political ideology, but from the One who created me and loves me, in spite of all my shortcomings.  This video of one of my favorite songs sums up what I’ve been trying to say.   God is good.  All the time.  May God bless you all.

Golden Calf 2012: “Our Lord and Savior Barack Obama”

On “The Soul Train Awards Program” last Sunday night on Black Entertainment Television, Academy Award Winning Actor (Ray), Jamie Foxx, said,

First of all, give an honor to God and our lord and savior Barack Obama. Barack Obama.

Well, after you pick your jaw up off the floor, let us dissect this statement in 3 ways:

1. It was an attention-seeking statement, designed to elicit endearment from the Black Americans in attendance and watching on television. The statement infers that President Barack Hussein Obama (mm mmm mmmm) is the lord and savior of all Black Americans.

Brilliant Economist Dr. Thomas Sowell, Senior Fellow at the Hoover Institute at Stanford University, who happens to be a Black American, has a less lofty opinion of the President:

Barack Obama is one of those people who are often wrong but never in doubt. When he burst upon the national political scene as a presidential candidate in 2008, even some conservatives were impressed by his confidence.

But confident ignorance is one of the most dangerous qualities in a leader of a nation. If he has the rhetorical skills to inspire others to have the same confidence in him, then you have the ingredients for national disaster.

…How has Obama gotten away with so many things that are foreign to American beliefs and traditions? Partly it is because of a quiescent media, sharing many of his ideological views and/or focused on the symbolism of his being “the first black President.” But part of his success must be credited — if that is the word — to his own rhetorical talents and his ability to project an image that many people accept and welcome.

The role of a confidence man is not to convince skeptics, but to help the gullible believe what they want to believe. Most of what Barack Obama says sounds very persuasive if you don’t know the facts — and often sounds like sheer nonsense if you do. But he is not trying to convince skeptics, nor worried about looking ridiculous to informed people who won’t vote for him anyway.

2. Foxx was reinforcing the image of  Obama as the guy who gives away all of the “free stuff”, an image that helped to solidify his voting base, the 47%, if you will.

Rush Limbaugh put it best, the day after the election, when, on his radio program, he said:

Conservatism, in my humble opinion, did not lose last night. It’s just very difficult to beat Santa Claus. It is practically impossible to beat Santa Claus. People are not going to vote against Santa Claus, especially if the alternative is being your own Santa Claus.

…All of these things that define the traditional institutions that made this country great, that’s what the Romney campaign was about. It was rejected. That way, or that route to prosperity was sneered at. That route to prosperity was rejected. The people who voted for Obama don’t believe in it. They don’t think it’s possible. They think the game’s rigged. They think the deck is stacked against them.

They think that the only way they’re gonna have a chance for anything is if somebody comes along and takes from somebody else and gives it to them. Santa Claus! And it’s hard to beat Santa Claus. Especially it’s hard to beat Santa Claus when the alternative is, “You be your own Santa Claus.” “Oh, no! I’m not doing that. What do you mean, I have to be my own Santa Claus? No, no. No, no, no. I want to get up every day and go to the tree. You’re the elves,” meaning us.

3. Finally, Foxx’s statement was blasphemous and idolatrous…on purpose. And, the pitiful thing is, this wasn’t the first time an idiot like Foxx has done something like this.

Per Todd Starnes, writing for foxnews.com:

Earlier this month Florida A&M professor Barbara Thompson published a book titled “The Gospel According to Apostle Barack.” The book likens Obama to Jesus Christ and Martin Luther King, Jr.

“I learned that Jesus walked the earth to create a more civilized society, Martin (Luther King) walked the earth to create a more justified society, but, Apostle Barack, the name he was called in my dreams, would walk the earth to create a more equalized society, for the middle class and working poor,” she wrote in an excerpt published by The Daily Caller. “Apostle Barack, the next young leader with a new cause, had been taken to the mountaintop and allowed to see over the other side.”

A controversial painting of President Obama, posed as Jesus Christ on the cross, is part of an art exhibit at Bunker Hill Community College in Boston.

The Michael D’Antuono painting is called “The Truth” — and features the president with his arms stretched out — wearing a crown of thorns.

The original debut of the painting four years ago was cancelled due to public outrage, Design & Trend reported.

At the time D’Antuono told Air America that he didn’t mean to “disrespect people’s religion. It’s meant as a political piece.”

Last month, Italian artists came under fire for creating figurine replicas of the president and first lady that appeared in Nativity scenes.

One nun told Reuters it was a “cartoon version of a Nativity scene.”

“Something as beautiful as the traditional nativity scene shouldn’t be spoiled by these figurines of personalities and I don’t think children like them,” another critic told Reuters.

And during the Democratic National Convention a number of street vendors sold products depicting President Obama as God — including one poster that declared, “Prophecy Fulfilled.”

The products were not sanctioned by the DNC.

I really do not know if I will be able to take four more years of this idolatry.

A word of warning to Jamie Foxx, and the rest of the Obama Worshipers out there: Do you remember what happened when the Jews, whom Moses was leading out of bondage from Egypt, built and started worshiping a Golden Calf?

Read Exodus 32. It was not pretty.

Obama may be your lord and savior, kiddo, but he sure ain’t mine, or any other Christian American’s.

Allow me to introduce to you the late, Dr. S.M. Lockridge, Pastor of Calvary Baptist Church, a great man, who just happened to have been a Black American, explaining exactly whom our Savior is.

Until He comes,

The GOP and Social Conservatives: A Party Divided

Now that the Presidential Election is over with, and the GOP Establishment’s hand-picked Candidate, the man who could not lose, Mitt Romney, lost, guess what segment of the Republican Party is being blamed for the loss?

You guessed it…Social Conservatives, i.e., Christians.

Back in February, when Republican Candidate Rick Santorum was being blasted for his Christian views, Rush Limbaugh said the following…

The Republican establishment, for the most part, if they could, would simply excommunicate every social conservative Republican they could find. They’d kick ’em out of the party, and they would gag ’em. They’d find a way to make sure they couldn’t speak. That’s how much they hate ’em, detest ’em, are embarrassed by them. And it’s based on one thing, primarily. It’s based on the fact that these establishment Republicans and others who don’t like the social conservatives are primarily, singularly worried about what people are going to think of them for being in the same party with the social conservatives. It really is no more complicated than that. I mean there are other things. They think social conservatives lose elections. They think social conservatives make the whole Republican Party a big target, like what’s going on now, this contraception business.

Paul Jesep, an attorney, policy analyst, and author of Lost Sense of Self & the Ethics Crisis: Learn to Live and Work Ethically, wrote the following in an article posted on allvoices.com

It’s been said Rockefeller Republicanism is almost dead, if not dead. Only a few GOP moderates are in Congress and seem to be only tolerated by social conservative colleagues. Yet it is equally true Goldwater conservatism has been pushed aside for an evangelical fundamentalism attempting to use government and a political party to legislate God, religion, and morality. This is a far cry from what had been Republicanism. Ironically, it’s what social conservatives purport to disdain the most – activism falsely packaged as limited government.

Today’s GOP social conservatives lament their liberty is threatened when someone else is empowered with personal rights with which they disagree and though they are not impacted. It’s an odd argument coming from a group who fears government, yet seeks to use it to define values and personal responsibility for others.

If Republicans truly want to engage in genuine soul-searching to rebuild their shattered party, then they should start with a history lesson. At one time they championed the separation of church and state to protect religion. In the past, respect and good stewardship of the land was considered conservative. And Republican, conservative, and moderate had nothing to do with God. Until this generation of Republicans learn their own history, reform of the GOP seems futile.

In other words, Mr. Jesep believes that the GOP has to become the Democratic Party II, in order to compete for the hearts and minds of Americans.

Eric Erickson wrote in an article on redstate.com on November 9th,

What’s really going on here is that the people who voted Republican, but who disagree with pro-lifers and defenders of marriage, have decided it must be those issues. They can’t see how what happened actually happened unless it happened because the issues on which they disagree with the base played a role.

This is a psychological avoidance of larger issues and does not stack up to the data.

Mitt Romney won about a quarter of the hispanic vote and a tenth of the black vote.

Those numbers may not sound like much, but in close elections they matter.

A sizable portion of those black and hispanic voters voted GOP despite disagreeing with the GOP on fiscal issues. But they are strongly social conservative and could not vote for the party of killing kids and gay marriage. So they voted GOP.

You throw out the social conservatives and you throw out those hispanic and black voters. Further, you make it harder to attract new hispanic voters who happen to be the most socially conservative voters in the country.

Next, you’ll also see a reduction of probably half the existing GOP base. You won’t make that up with Democrats who suddenly think that because their uterus is safe they can now vote Republican. Most of those people don’t like fiscal conservatism either — often though claiming that they do.

If you really need to think through this, consider MItt Romney. He is perhaps the shiftiest person to ever run for President of the United States. He shifted his position on virtually every position except Romneycare. Of all the politicians to ever run for office, he’d be the one most likely to come out and, after the Republican convention, decide he’d changed his mind. He’d be okay with abortion and okay with gay marriage.

Had he done that, he’d have even less votes.

So, the reality is, once you travel outside the Northeast corridor, home to all the Liberal and Moderate Political Pundits, there are actually living, breathing, thinking Conservative American Christians, who still call this sacred land our home.

By the way…

Did you know that more than 1.2 million meals have been served to victims of Hurricane Sandy by Southern Baptist Disaster Relief (SBDR) volunteers since the storm hit?

In all, over 1,200 SBDR volunteers from 34 states and Canada have responded to provide disaster relief following the superstorm that ravaged the East Coast, the North American Mission Board (NAMB) reports in a disaster relief update on its website. These volunteers have also reported that 56 people have made professions of faith in Jesus Christ as a result of the organization’s work.

I just threw that in, because I did not read anywhere about the Freedom From Religion Foundation doing any relief work with the victims of Hurricane Sandy.

But, that’s an analysis for another time…

If the GOP turns its back on Reagan (Social) Conservatives, they will not win another election…period.

Conservative Ideology did not lose this presidential election.

Poor communication of it, did.

Until He comes,

Give Thanks With a Grateful Heart

When upon life’s billows you are tempest-tossed,

When you are discouraged, thinking all is lost,

Count your many blessings, name them one by one,

And, it will surprise you what the Lord hath done.

I cannot tell you how many times in 30 years of singing in choirs, that I have sung that wonderful old hymn.

As I’ve gotten…older, the truth of those wonderful words, has hit home, this year, more than ever.

Yes, I did my share of whining and crying after the Presidential Election, but, then, I realized, God is in control.

I am still His and He is mine.

I still have my wonderful Bride, my children, my grandson, my loving sister and her family, and all my friends, who are my extended family.

Plus, since June of this year,  I have a wonderful new job. I am blessed beyond measure.

I said to myself, self…this would be a wonderful time to, once again, give my testimony of how a 53 year old, working at a Government Internship to try to help ends meet, became a Vice-President of Marketing, literally overnight, through the Grace and Mercy of God.

As we all know… (originally posted 6/9/2012)

Obama’s feckless Economic Plan has done about as much good for our country as a screen door on a submarine.

I know.  I was one of those affected by it.

Beginning in January of 2009, I attempted to sell Health Insurance, first with AFLAC, then as an agent with an Independent Broker.

I gave it my best shot, battling against Obama’s war on the American Healthcare System.  However, as I soon found out, creditors don’t take promises as collateral.

Desperate to try to bring some money into the household, a good friend of mine told me about an opportunity for a technology internship, working with a quasi-governmental non-profit agency that came in from Canada to work with the schools after Hurricane Katrina.

At the age of 52, I became the world’s oldest intern.

I began with them in January of 2011, working at a local school for 30 hours a week and the local branch of the state Employment Office for the remaining 10 hours each week.

It was a good experience.  The Lord taught me humility, while allowing me to catch up with technology, such as Skype and interactive whiteboards.  I also had the opportunity to work with some great professionals, and some great young interns.

While at the Employment Office, I was able to observe folks down on their luck, struggling to find work and survive in this economy.

I also saw American families whose existance living on the Government Dole, had become generational.

It is these people whom Obama and the Democrats have hypnotized into believing that Uncle Sugar loves them, and is their only solution to surviving a stifling existence.

They are so, so wrong.

The strength and vitality of America does not come from the benevolence of a Nanny-state Federal Government.

As the greatest American President of our lifetime, Ronald Reagan said:

The nine words you never want to hear are:  I’m from the Government and I’m here to help.

Being enslaved to the Government Dole steals one’s ambition.  It takes away any impetus or desire to create a better life for yourself and your family, to challenge yourself to pick yourself up by your bootstraps and pursue the American Dream.  It makes you reliant on a politically-motivated spider’s web full of government bureaucrats who view you and your family as job security.

I watched American citizens trapped in this web of government bureaucracy,  so numbed of any initiative that they once had, that they seemed offended that they actually had to prove that they inquired about three jobs that week in order to keep their “benefits”.  Others seemed puzzled that they had to search through the state data base and pick out a job that they wanted to talk to an interviewer about receiving a referral to, and weren’t just simply handed a job when they walked through the door.

My last day as an intern was yesterday.  This Monday, I begin an new adventure.  Thanks to another very good friend, I was given the opportunity to interview for a position at a 100 person, 5-company corporation.

Last Saturday, my friend called me with the good news:  I got the job!

The title:  Vice-President of Marketing.

I’ll be doing some Internet Marketing, including Blogging and Tweeting, writing press releases and newsletters, attending Chamber of Commerce Meetings, and, of course, other duties as assigned.

It wasn’t Uncle Sugar/the Obama Administration that gave me this job.

It was a God thing and I hope you understand.

Epilogue:  Now, don’t be mistaken, we are  still struggling paycheck-to-paycheck, to get out of the debts we accrued, during my period of unemployment and underemployment.

But, with the help and encouragement of family and friends, and the Grace of God, I know we’ll male it.

What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?

Muslim Brotherhood’s Morsi to Mediate Israel/Palestinian Conflict…Huh?

The Leader of Hamas did something very stupid, yesterday.

Don’t aggravate the bull, if you don’t want the horns.

The New York Times reports

The top leader of Hamas dared Israel on Monday to launch a ground invasion of Gaza and dismissed diplomatic efforts to broker a cease-fire in the six-day-old conflict, as the Israeli military conducted a new wave of deadly airstrikes on the besieged Palestinian enclave, including a second hit on a 15-story building that houses media outlets. A volley of rockets fired from Gaza into southern Israel included one that hit a vacant school.

Speaking at a news conference in Cairo, where the diplomatic efforts were under way, the Hamas leader, Khaled Meshal, suggested that the Israeli infantry mobilization on the border with Gaza was a bluff on the part of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu of Israel.

“If you wanted to launch it, you would have done it,” Mr. Meshal told reporters. He accused Israel of using the invasion threat as an attempt to “dictate its own terms and force us into silence.”

Rejecting Israel’s contention that Hamas had precipitated the conflict, Mr. Meshal said the burden was on the Israelis. “The demand of the people of Gaza is meeting their legimitate demands — for Israel to be restrained from its aggression, assassinations and invasions, and for the siege over Gaza to be ended,” he said.

Mr. Netanyahu met with top ministers Monday evening and Israeli media said they discussed the next steps in the Gaza conflict, including the possibility of a truce. Israeli officials declined to comment on those reports.

So, is President Barack Hussein Obama going to man up and step in and try to mediate in this conflict? No…another honest, objective leader has stepped in, with Obama’s blessing:

While holding itself out as an honest broker for truce talks between Israel and Hamas over the Gaza conflict, Egypt’s new government sought on Monday to plunge into the battle over international public opinion on behalf of the Palestinian cause — an arena where the Israelis, more experienced in the world of the free press and democratic politics, have historically dominated.

In Egypt’s most concerted effort to win more global public support for the Palestinians, advisers to Egypt’s President Mohamed Morsi, a former leader of the Muslim Brotherhood who has been an outspoken supporter of Hamas, invited foreign correspondents in Cairo to a background briefing at which a senior Egyptian official sought to blame Israel for the conflict while at the same time maintaining Egypt’s role as an intermediary pressing both sides for peace. “We are against any bloodshed,” the official said repeatedly, arguing that Egypt sought stability and individual freedom for all in the region.

Speaking on condition of anonymity to avoid upsetting the talks with the Israelis, the Egyptian official argued that the West, which supports Israel’s right to defend itself against rocket attacks from Gaza, was essentially blaming the victim.

“It is so strange people are talking about the rights of self-defense,” he said. “The self-defense of whom? Of the occupied people? Of the besieged people? Of the hurt people? No, the self-defense of the most powerful state in the region and the self-defense of the occupying force of Gaza and Palestine. This is what some of the international community are talking about.”

Objective? Hardly. Here are some quotes from Morsi, concerning Israel, compiled by JewishVirtualLibrary.org:

– “We are not against people. We are not against mankind. We are not against the Jews. We are against Zionism. We are against torturing the Palestinians.”

(CNN, February 2011)

– “Talks about a two-state solution are completely rejected by the Arab and Muslim peoples … pressure to resume direct talks raises many questions regarding the feasibility of conducting such negotiations amid the continuing Israeli blockade on the Gaza Strip, the progressive steps towards Judaizing East Jerusalem, the seizing of parts of Al-Aqsa Mosque, the imprisonment of Sheikh Raed Salah and the destruction of houses in the Palestinian cities in the West Bank.”

(IkwanWeb, August 2010)

– “History has proven that the Israeli entity has never respected regulations were it has always believed that it is above the law. The only language they understand is force hence what is taken by force must be restored by force.”

(IkwanWeb, March 2010)

– “The two-state solution is nothing but a delusion concocted by the brutal usurper of the Palestinian lands.”

(IkwanWeb, March 2010)

– “The report prepared by the Commission headed by the former international war crimes prosecutor Richard Goldstone [is] proof of the Zionist crimes as well as evidence that there is a deteriorating of the Palestinian Authority’s hierarchy.”

(IkwanWeb, October 2009)

– “The Israeli’s aggressions has increased with the digging of more tunnels under Al-Aqsa Mosque and the barbaric and unjust confiscation of more lands and homes in Jerusalem which are handed over to the Jewish people.”

(IkwanWeb, October 2009)

From discoverthenetworks.org:

In 1982, the Muslim Brotherhood, which Islam expert Robert Spencer has called “the parent organization of Hamas and al Qaeda,” adopted a strategic plan known as “The Global Project for Palestine.” This Project laid the groundwork for a terrorist “secret apparatus” that eventually would culminate in the creation of Hamas in December 1987 and the unveiling of the Hamas charter in August 1988. As an outgrowth of this project, in May 1991 the Muslim Brotherhood issued to its ideological allies an explanatory memorandum on “the General Strategic Goal for the Group in North America.” Explaining that the Brotherhood’s mission was to establish “an effective and … stable Islamic Movement” on the continent, this document outlined a “Civilization-Jihadist Process” for achieving that objective. It stated that Muslims “must understand that their work in America is a kind of grand Jihad in eliminating and destroying the Western civilization from within and ‘sabotaging’ its miserable house by their hands … so that … God’s religion [Islam] is made victorious over all other religions.”

So, the Muslim Brotherhood and Hamas are linked together like Father and Son.

Mohammed Morsi is a member of the Muslim Brotherhood, and he’s supposed to be an honest broker between Israel and Hamas?

President Obama, you spent waaay too long as a member of the Choom Gang.

1For Zion’s sake I will not keep silent,

and for Jerusalem’s sake I will not be quiet,

until her righteousness goes forth as brightness,

and her salvation as a burning torch.

The War Against Christianity: The Siege of Santa Monica

Atheists may only be a small percentage of our population, however, in some of their minds, they believe that they are the overwhelming majority.

The latest battlefront in the War on Christianity is raging in California, where local Grinches are trying to keep Christmas from happening.

Damon Vix didn’t have to go to court to push Christmas out of the city of Santa Monica. He just joined the festivities.

The atheist’s anti-God message alongside a life-sized nativity display in a park overlooking the beach ignited a debate that burned brighter than any Christmas candle.

Santa Monica officials snuffed the city’s holiday tradition this year rather than referee the religious rumble, prompting churches that have set up a 14-scene Christian diorama for decades to sue over freedom of speech violations. Their attorney will ask a federal judge Monday to resurrect the depiction of Jesus’ birth, while the city aims to eject the case.

“It’s a sad, sad commentary on the attitudes of the day that a nearly 60-year-old Christmas tradition is now having to hunt for a home, something like our savior had to hunt for a place to be born because the world was not interested,” said Hunter Jameson, head of the nonprofit Santa Monica Nativity Scene Committee that is suing.

Missing from the courtroom drama will be Vix and his fellow atheists, who are not parties to the case. Their role outside court highlights a tactical shift as atheists evolve into a vocal minority eager to get their non-beliefs into the public square as never before.

National atheist groups earlier this year took out full-page newspaper ads and hundreds of TV spots in response to the Catholic bishops’ activism around women’s health care issues and are gearing up to battle for their own space alongside public Christmas displays in small towns across America this season.

“In recent years, the tactic of many in the atheist community has been, if you can’t beat them, join them,” said Charles Haynes, a senior scholar at the First Amendment Center and director of the Newseum’s Religious Freedom Education Project in Washington. “If these church groups insist that these public spaces are going to be dominated by a Christian message, we’ll just get in the game — and that changes everything.”

In the past, atheists primarily fought to uphold the separation of church and state through the courts. The change underscores the conviction held by many nonbelievers that their views are gaining a foothold, especially among young adults.

The Pew Forum on Religion & Public Life released a study last month that found 20 percent of Americans say they have no religious affiliation, an increase from 15 percent in the last five years. Atheists took heart from the report, although Pew researchers stressed that the category also encompassed majorities of people who said they believed in God but had no ties with organized religion and people who consider themselves “spiritual” but not “religious.”

“We’re at the bottom of the totem pole socially, but we have muscle and we’re flexing it,” said Annie Laurie Gaylor, co-president of the Wisconsin-based Freedom from Religion Foundation. “Ignore our numbers at your peril.”

Per discoverthenetworks.org:

Founded in 1978, the nonprofit, tax-exempt Freedom From Religion Foundation (FFRF) consists of more than 13,000 members and calls itself “the largest association of freethinkers (atheists and agnostics) in the United States.” Its mission is “to promote free thought and to keep state and church separate.”

According to FFRF, religion invariably has been a negative force in human societies. “The history of Western civilization shows us that most social and moral progress has been brought about by persons free from religion,” the organization says. “… In modern times, the first to speak out for prison reform, for humane treatment of the mentally ill, for abolition of capital punishment, for women’s right to vote, for death with dignity for the terminally ill, and for the right to choose contraception, sterilization and abortion have been freethinkers [i.e., atheists and agnostics], just as they were the first to call for an end to slavery.”

The Foundation is led by its co-presidents, Dan Barker and his wife, Annie Laurie Gaylor. Barker was a Christian preacher for 19 years before renouncing his faith in 1984. Gaylor, who earned a journalism degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 1980, co-founded FFRC with her mother and the late John Sontarck in 1978. She is author of the books Woe to the Women: The Bible Tells Me So (1981), and Betrayal of Trust: Clergy Abuse of Children (1988). She also edited the 1997 anthology Women Without Superstition: No Gods, No Masters. Today she edits FFRF’s newspaper, Freethought Today, which is published ten times annually.

The FFRF has filed a complaint against the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association, making the claim that the ministry’s activity during the election season violates its tax exempt status.

From ChristianPost.com:

Freedom From Religion Foundation, a Wisconsin-based organization, argued in its filed report that BGEA’s “vote biblical values” ad campaign violated the IRS’ rules on religious groups and political campaigning.

“BGEA, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, has run full-page ads publicizing Billy Graham’s call for the electorate to ‘vote biblical values,'” said FFRF in a statement last week. “The ads have appeared in several ‘swing state’ newspapers in preparation for tomorrow’s heated presidential election. Throughout the month of October, BGEA published articles favorable to Romney, which included a statement by Billy Graham.”

Brent Rinehart of the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association provided The Christian Post with an official statement regarding the “Biblical Values” ad campaign.

“The ads intentionally do not mention any candidate, political party, or contest, urging instead for readers to cast votes for candidates-at all levels-based on their support for biblical values,” reads the statement in part.

Here is the ad in question:

On Nov. 6, the day before my 94th birthday, our nation will hold one of the most critical elections in my lifetime. We are at a crossroads and there are profound moral issues at stake. I strongly urge you to vote for candidates who support the biblical definition of marriage between a man and a woman, protect the sanctity of life and defend our religious freedoms. The Bible speaks clearly on these crucial issues. Please join me in praying for America, that we will turn our hearts back toward God.

The FFRF is afraid of that message.

Why? Because just like a lot of other Liberals, “those who claim to be the most tolerant of all of us, are actually the least tolerant of all.”

And, as God’s Word reminds us…

…The fool says in his heart, “There is no God.”

Israel Lights the Fuse

The Powder Keg that is the Middle East has exploded, once again. And this time, our ally, Israel, lit the fuse.

Israeli Defense Minister Ehud Barak signaled that Israel is ready to escalate its military operations against Gaza after at least one long-range missile was fired at Tel Aviv by Palestinian militants.

The missile attack and the volume of fire in general toward Israel “is an escalation and there will be a price to pay,” Barak said on Channel 2 television yesterday. It was the first such attack on Israel’s commercial hub since Iraqi missiles in 1991 during the Gulf War.

Neither side showed signs of yielding as international diplomacy ramped up. Hamas kept up rocket fire in the most serious conflict since Israel sent troops into Gaza in December 2008 in a three-week offensive it said was aimed at stopping such attacks. Israeli Army Spokesman Brigadier General Yoav Mordechai told Channel 2 that the military was calling up 30,000 reservists hours after Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said the military was ready for a “substantial expansion” to stop rocket attacks.

In a phone call with Egyptian President Mohamed Mursi, U.S. President Barack Obama supported Israel’s right to self defense as the two leaders agreed on “the importance of working to de- escalate the situation as quickly as possible,” according to a Nov. 14 White House statement. United Nations Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon plans to go to Egypt and Israel next week, according to a Security Council diplomat informed of the matter who spoke on condition of anonymity because the trip hasn’t been announced. The UN spokesman’s office declined to comment.

Israel began a military operation termed Pillar of Defense against militants in the Gaza Strip on Nov. 14. At least 19 Palestinians have been killed in Israeli military strikes, including the leader of the Hamas military wing, and three Israelis died in one of 300 rocket attacks launched from Gaza in the past 24 hours.

Israel launched a wave of air strikes at 70 underground launch sites for medium-range rockets late yesterday, and direct hits were confirmed, the army said in an e-mailed statement. Israeli naval vessels fired on Hamas bases on the Gaza shore, the army said.

The rocket fired at the Tel Aviv area of Gush Dan, home to about 1.3 million people, probably fell in the sea, said police spokesman Mickey Rosenfeld, noting there was no damage and no injuries reported. Air-raid warnings sounded in the city, which is at the limit of the approximately 70-kilometer (44 mile) range of the Iranian-developed Fajr-5 rocket.

About the elimination of that Hamas Terrorist…the Jerusalem Post reports that

Israel’s leaders were literally looking in the opposite direction, and making sure everyone knew it, just before catching Hamas’s top commander in the Gaza Strip off-guard in an air strike that killed him.

In what now appears to have been a diversionary tactic, Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu and Defense Minister Ehud Barak paid a visit to the Syrian frontier in the north, hours before the air offensive began in the south.

In fact, Israeli experts now say, the visit may have been part of a ploy to deceive Hamas into believing that a truce was in place in Gaza, so that the Israeli army could catch its target, Hamas military mastermind Ahmed Jabari.

“The sense of complacency that Barak and Netanyahu created … brought Jabari and his friends out of his holes and made possible the surprise attack,” military affairs analyst Alex Fishman wrote in Yedioth Ahronoth.

Israel has a thick list of potential targets in the Gaza Strip, an enclave regularly criss-crossed by IAF drones and where militants’ movements are routinely logged. The Shin Bet (Israel Security Agency), which oversaw the assassination of Jabari, keeps tabs on Hamas leaders with a network of informers.

So it is surprising that the usually cautious militant, who had just returned from a pilgrimage to Mecca, chose to drive in broad daylight down a main Gaza street. His car was hit by a missile in an attack filmed from the air and put on YouTube.

Jabari may have been lulled into the open by public signals from Israel that a round of cross-border violence along the frontier in the past week had run its course.

On Monday, Netanyahu convened the nine-member inner cabinet to discuss an upsurge of Hamas rocket attacks last weekend that had been disrupting life for a million Israelis in the South but seemed to be abating.

It was at that meeting, political sources said, that a Shin Bet plan to assassinate Jabari was approved and the first act of deception was played out: Minister Benny Begin, a member of the forum, went on Israeli radio to say the current round of violence appeared to be over.

Hamas apparently bought the message. Sami Abu Zuhri, a Hamas spokesman, said Israel, in launching the offensive, had violated an informal truce brokered by mediators.

“The factions abided by the understanding of calm, and the occupation bears the responsibility for the consequences that will follow the ugly crime,” he said.

Israel had largely suspended assassinations of top Hamas men in recent years, strikes that could have triggered wider violence along the Gaza frontier.

It focused instead on targeting rocket launching crews in low-intensity warfare marked by cyclical cross-border exchanges usually calmed by Egyptian-mediated ceasefires.

The IDF used similar ruses to conceal its plans before launching its three-week Gaza war in December 2008.

Days before that offensive began, Defense Minister Barak made an unusual and unannounced live appearance on a top-rated TV satire show, giving the impression that starting a war could not be further from his mind.

In another twist at the time, officers were summoned from garrisons around Gaza to a weekend with their families at a countryside spa. All but the most senior of those invited commanders were then surprised to be woken up, that Saturday morning, and sent back to base for combat within hours.

Were the Gaza missiles a  retaliation for Israel’s strike against Syria? It’s certainly a possibility.

Will President Barack Hussein Obama continue to defend our closest ally, or will he stand with the Muslims “should the political winds shift in an ugly direction”?

Considering Israel launched their attack on Syria after Obama’s re-election, I think Israel’s Prime Minister Bibi Netanyahu knows exactly where Obama stands.

So, they threw the first punch.

I hope y’all are all prayed up.

You see, I know how this whole thing ends. I’ve read The Book.

#Evolve? Into what? A Democrat?

As I got ready to attend church this morning, I was mulling over this historical week in American Politics and, also, considering the aftermath.

After Republican Moderate Mitt Romney lost, the cries came up from anonymous sources on the internet and television and radio pundits as well, that the reason Obama won, is the narrow-mindedness, and old-fashioned core values of the Republican Party.

These geniuses want the party to be in favor of no-strings-attached amnesty for  illegal aliens, to embrace gay marriage, and to sublimate, if not totally eliminate, any influence Christians have on the Republican Party Platform.

In other words, these geniuses wish to turn the GOP into a doppelganger of the Democratic Party.

And, if that happens, our two party political system is finished.

Here’s one of those MENSA members I am speaking of:

An outspoken Republican moderate, Meghan McCain took to Twitter to express frustration with her party following a less-than-stellar night for the GOP.

“I don’t need to do any soul searching about what the GOP is doing wrong, I knew what was wrong four years ago when my father lost. #evolve,” she wrote on Twitter Wednesday morning after Republican nominee Mitt Romney was projected to lose the election to President Barack Obama Tuesday night and Congress would remain with Republicans controlling the House and Democrats the Senate.

McCain, a writer and daughter to former presidential candidate Sen. John McCain tweeted again, “Keep calling people like me RINO’s and see how many elections we keep winning.”

A “RINO” or “Republican in name only” is a term used within the political sphere to describe a self-identifying member of the Republican Party who does not conform to a certain mold of a conservative Republican.

McCain pushed back on the apparent name-calling Wednesday morning suggesting the Republican Party needs to, as she tweeted, “evolve” on a number of issues to keep up with an increasingly diverse American electorate where Democrats appear to have an advantage.

McCain’s reaction on Twitter is part of a growing narrative woven from the Republicans losses in Tuesday’s election and joins a chorus of Republican voices calling for change within the party.

But, win or lose, McCain got a little back-up from her mother on the social media site.

“Good job Meghan!!! RT @McCainBlogette: Keep calling people like me RINO’s and see how many elections we keep winning,” tweeted Cindy McCain, wife to Sen. McCain and Meghan’s mother.

#Evolve…into what? A Democrat?

I would rather set my hair on fire and put it out with a hammer.

The day after the election, Rush Limbaugh said:

All of these things that define the traditional institutions that made this country great, that’s what the Romney campaign was about.

You throw Hurricane Sandy in here. I must admit, I am genuinely puzzled that Hurricane Sandy and the aftermath helped Obama and hurt Romney. But it did. According to the exit polls. I mean, what they say is what they say. The polls were right on the money, as it turned out. But until people understand why and how big government reduces prosperity for all, they’re gonna continue to be fooled by little things.

By marketing, by smooth talkers, by faux compassion. So we’ll see what happens with the economy as we go forward. Some people think, “Hey, Rush, the economy is resilient in this country, and it’s gonna naturally rebound. No matter what.” There are people today scared the economy is going to rebound despite what’s happening in the stock market today and Obama’s policies are gonna get credit for it.

A bunch of libs are salivating over that. They think the economy is gonna come back no matter what, and that Obama’s big government is going to end up being the explanation for the rest of our lives as to how that happened. Just like in Japan, just like in Greece. But look, you bring up Greece and you bring up Europe, and they’re where we’re headed. Their problems are acute.

The difference is that none of those European countries are anywhere near the leading economy of the world like we are. The world depends on what happens here. The world does not depend on what happens in Spain or Greece or Italy. Not to put them down. But regardless, wherever you go… Look at Greece. Whenever necessary austerity measures are proposed, what happens?

“No, you don’t! You’re not taking it away from me!” There is no rising to responsibility. There is no accepting responsibility. There’s just a demand that the gravy train continue, and we have an administration that’s promising an endless gravy train. All you have to do to stay on that gravy train is vote. But it doesn’t matter.

The thing that’s mind-boggling is that there is no new prosperity in America. There is no improved standard of living. It’s all going down. “But Obama cares. He really cares! He cares much more than Romney. He really, really cares. In fact, he cares so much, we’re gonna give him a do-over. We’re gonna give him a second term to do what we know he wanted to do in the first term but wasn’t able to for whatever reason.”

In fact, Obama cares so much about us, that, while hundreds of thousands are still without power, and desperately trying to pick themselves up after Hurricane Sandy, he went golfing yesterday.

And, this schmuck is an example of the behavior that these Vichy Republican geniuses think our party should be modeling itself after, in order to win back the American public’s vote?

Then…they are just as void of any core values as the Manchurian President himself, is.

For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul?

The Petraeus Affair: A Matter of Timing

In a surprising, and fortunate (for the Administration) move, Director of the Central Intelligence Agency, General David Petraeus, resigned yesterday, citing an extramarital affair as the reason.

The Wall Street Journal reports

A Federal Bureau of Investigation inquiry into use of Mr. Petraeus’s Gmail account led agents to believe the woman or someone close to her had sought access to his email, the people said.

Multiple officials familiar with the investigation identified the woman as the author of a biography on Mr. Petraeus.

It was the second national-security revelation to come to light in the two days after President Barack Obama won re-election. On Wednesday, the Pentagon acknowledged that Iranian fighter planes had fired on an unmanned reconnaissance drone five days before the election. Some Republicans on Capitol Hill were irked that the administration waited so long to make the incident public, while administration officials said they didn’t talk about the attack because the drone program was secret.

Mr. Petraeus’s resignation also comes at a time when the CIA is embroiled in controversy surrounding the events of Sept. 11, 2012, when four Americans were killed in an attack on the U.S. consulate in Benghazi, Libya. After weeks of conflicting accounts of what happened that night, the CIA acknowledged it had played a central role in gathering intelligence and providing security for the U.S. presence there.

Mr. Petraeus was scheduled to testify before the Senate intelligence committee next week. Michael Morell, who was named acting director of the CIA after Mr. Petraeus’s resignation, will appear instead.

The resignation, which stunned the nation’s capital, represented a fall for a man who had been one of the most celebrated military leaders of his time, a four-star general credited with turning the tide in Iraq and reversing the Taliban’s momentum in Afghanistan.

Administration officials said the White House was briefed on the affair Wednesday by Director of National Intelligence James Clapper. Mr. Obama was informed Thursday by his staff and met with Mr. Petraeus that day. Mr. Petraeus then offered to resign. The announcement came Friday afternoon.

In a statement to CIA employees, Mr. Petraeus said, “After being married for over 37 years, I showed extremely poor judgment by engaging in an extramarital affair. Such behavior is unacceptable, both as a husband and as the leader of an organization such as ours.”

CIA Director David Petraeus resigned as head of the intelligence agency, saying he “showed extremely poor judgment” by engaging in an extramarital affair. Neil King has details on The News Hub. Photo: AFP/Getty Images.

His wife, Holly, the daughter of a West Point superintendent, heads the office for service-member affairs in the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, an agency created by the 2010 financial-regulation law.

Multiple officials said Mr. Petraeus’s affair was with Paula Broadwell, a West Point graduate who recently wrote a book on the retired general, “All In: The Education of General David Petraeus.” Efforts to reach Ms. Broadwell were unsuccessful. A spokeswoman for her publisher, Penguin, did not immediately comment.

The computer-security investigation—which raised questions about a potential compromise to national security—points to one reason Mr. Petraeus and the White House decided he couldn’t remain in the senior intelligence position. An extramarital affair has significant implications for an official in a highly sensitive post, because it can open an official to blackmail. Security officials are sensitive to misuse of personal email accounts—not only official accounts—because there have been multiple instances of foreign hackers targeting personal emails.

Okay.  Let’s try to absorb this, shall we? The head of the CIA, an Army Legend, who has been married 37 years, all of the sudden resigns over an affair, just a few days before he is scheduled to testy before Congress about the Administrative negligence and possible treason that stood by and watched 4 brave Americans, including an Ambassador get murdered, in real time, and did nothing about it, except fallaciously blame the attack on a video no one has seen.

I question the timing. And, I’m not the only one.

Fox News Military Expert, Lt. Colonel Ralph Peters does, also:

The timing is just too perfect for the Obama administration. Just as the administration claimed it was purely coincidence that our Benghazi consulate was attacked on the anniversary of September 11th. Now it’s purely coincidence that this affair — extra-marital affair — surfaces right after the election, not before, but right after, but before the intelligence chiefs go to Capitol Hill to get grilled. As an old intelligence analyst, Neil, the way I read this — I could be totally wrong, this is my interpretation — is that the administration was unhappy with Petraeus not playing ball 100% on their party-line story. I think it’s getting cold feet about testifying under oath on their party-line story. And I suspect that these tough Chicago guys knew about this affair for a while, held it in their back pocket until they needed to play the card.

I don’t like conspiracy theories, I may be totally wrong, but the timing of this, again, right after the election and right before Petraeus is supposed to get grilled on Capitol Hill, it’s really smells.

Yes, sir. You’re absolutely right.

As with the Iranian Drone Attack, it’s as if the Administration thinks that the citizens it is supposed to be protecting, and paying their salaries, are nothing but a bunch of sheep, who will believe anything they tell us.

By now, you newer readers are saying, KJ, you say you’re a Christian. Doesn’t the Bible say to obey your leaders?

Yes, it does, But, there is an often-overlooked addendum:

6 For because of this you also pay taxes, for rulers are servants of God, devoting themselves to this very thing.

7a Render to all what is due them: b tax to whom tax is due; c custom to whom custom; fear to whom fear; honor to whom honor.

Romans 13:6-7

The underlined verses are the part that this Administration ignores, to their own peril…and ours.

As I wrote yesterday, this Administration reminds me of the old Soviet Union.

And, we know what happened to them.

Mr. President, tear down this wall…of disinformation.

The Aftermath: Reagan Conservatives Catching It…From Both Sides

Remember the theme from the original Poseidon Adventure, There’s Got to Be a Morning After, sung by Maureen McGovern? If you’re as old as me, you do.

The morning after, or, the aftermath of Barack Hussein Obama’s (mm mmm mmmm) re-election victory, found on the Internet, was a strange mixture of accusations, jubilation, and condemnation.

The condemnation was directed at American Values Voters, otherwise known as Reagan Conservatives. What boggled my mind, and I guess that it should not have, was the fact that the insults were coming from Democrats, and self-proclaimed Republicans.

Those “Republicans” call themselves “Fiscal Conservatives”. They claim to believe in 2 out of the 3 tenets (stool legs) of the three-legged stool of Reagan Conservatism: Fiscal Conservatism and Strong National Defense. They believe that embracing Social Conservatism is passe and will not win a national election.

You should have read the litany of condemnation I read, directed toward Social Conservatives yesterday, on Conservative websites. The insults went something like this:

SoCons need to just shut up and go away.  You guys are a bunch of busybodies. You’re a bunch of senile, old dinosaurs. You add nothing to the Party, and your antique belief system should never be a part of the Republican Party Platform.

No one cares about abortion, gay marriage, or Benghazi!

We can win elections without you!

Uh huh. Tell you what, Cletus. Check out the map in the upper left corner. All that Red area is where Conservatives, including Reagan Conservatives, voted. The Blue Areas belong to the Liberal Democrats.

Passe? Not hardly.

I’d like to ask three things. then, Sparky, being the curious old codger that I am:

1. Without embracing the same Judeo-Christian Values System that our Founders believed in, how can you be sure that you are making the correct fixcal decisions for our country and its people? By relying on your own limited knowledge?  “A fool and his money are soon parted” – Dr. John Bridges

2.When you guys say that Republicans need to “have a ‘Big Tent’, embrace diversity, and show that we are just as tolerant as the Democrats, in order to win over voters”, that tolerance somehow doesn’t seem to extend to Reagan Conservatives and/or Evangelicals. Isn’t that called “Hypocrisy”?

3. By not embracing a Judeo-Christian Values System, what makes you any different than the Liberal Democrats? Knowing how to save money? Heck, the Liberals know how to save money. They just don’t want to.

4. Wasn’t the Republican Presidential Candidate this year a Fiscal Conservative…and a Liberal on Social Issues? By all accounts, he’s a true gentleman. However, he received less votes than RINO John McCain did….against a worse president than Jimmy Carter was.

You can’t sit on a two-legged stool.

Reagan Conservatism is still very relevant.

Let’s look at quotes released, after the election, from two of my favorite Reagan Conservatives, who just happen to be Christians…and female.

First, here’s Michelle Malkin:

Once again, we have our work cut out for us. We lost this election, but we still live in the greatest country on the planet and we still have many ways to fight for and defend it.

My counsel to you tonight: Please, do not be bitter. Do not fall prey to the Beltway blame game. Do not get mired in small things. Do not become vengeful creatures like our political opponents who voted out of spite instead of love of country.

We still have boundless blessings to count — and to secure.

I remain a proud, unrepentant believer in the American Dream. And I know you do, too. Freedom will endure because we will keep fighting for it. We can’t afford not to, friends.

Earlier this evening, when many conservatives on Twitter started despairing, I quoted from Psalm 46:10. Elections come and go. Faith endures:

He says, “Be still, and know that I am God;

I will be exalted among the nations,

I will be exalted in the earth.”

Chins up. Stand tall. We’ll fight again tomorrow.

Next, Sarah Palin wrote on her Facebook Page:

America, don’t lose heart. This election is not an “Obama mandate,” nor is it a rejection of conservatism. Unanswered ads like this one running in blue collar swing states defined Romney early on, and the Obama media also piled on with the narrative that Romney would harm the middle class. (As I personally have witnessed, once a bell is rung by a biased media, it’s impossible to un-ring it.) Ironically, it’s Obama’s socialist policies that will destroy America’s working class as he outsources opportunities.

Hang in there, America. Fight for what is right. Don’t look to government or any politician to solve your problems. Government can’t make you happy, healthy, wealthy or wise. Obama is a master at reading the right “soaring” words fed into his teleprompter, but actions speak louder than words. So, hold tight to 2 Corinthians 4:8 because we’re in for a wild ride.

We must survive. United. One nation under God.

“We are hard-pressed on every side, yet not crushed; we are perplexed, but not in despair; persecuted but not forsaken, struck down, but not destroyed.” – 2 Corinthians 4:8-9.

As I wrote in yesterday’s Blog:

Conservatives are still the largest political ideology in this country. Don’t believe the garbage that you will be hearing from the Beltway Pundits in the upcoming days. They don’t know you. They are as far-removed from our daily lives as Michelle Obama is from a Thigh Master.

Allow me to leave you with a Bible quote, like those two wonderful Conservative Women did:

Therefore, brothers, in all our distress and persecution we were encouraged about you because of your faith.

– 1 Thessalonians 3:7

Keep the Faith, Americans.

Until He comes,

KJ
