The War Against Christianity – Business Sues Church for $2.3 Million Because It Won’t Host LGBT Event

If you thought that the “War Against Christianity” ended when Barack Hussein Obama left office…you haven’t been paying attention.

An Oregon business has filed a complaint against a church that prohibited it from hosting an LGBT event in a building owned by the church, claiming that the fallout from that decision has harmed the company.

In 2015, Ambridge Event Center, which once rented out a space owned by Holy Rosary Church for various events, was compelled to reject an LGBT group’s request to hold an event on the property due to the church’s “morals clause.”

In a lawsuit filed last week in Multnomah County Circuit Court in Oregon, Ambridge alleged that the church’s rules against them hosting the LGBT event caused them harm. They are seeking $2.3 million in damages.

The PFLAG Portland Black Chapter, an African-American LGBT support group, sent a request to Ambridge to have an event held at the venue they were renting from Holy Rosary.

Ambridge had to decline the request and then apologized, stating that the refusal came at the order of Holy Rosary.

Although PFLAG considered filing a complaint with the Oregon Bureau of Labor and Industries, the organization did not do so in part because churches are exempted from state antidiscrimination law, according to Oregon Live.

Rod Dreher, a senior editor at The American Conservative and author of the book, The Benedict Option, wrote in a column published Tuesday that “this will not be the last challenge of this sort against churches.”

“If an LGBT activist group targets a private business for working with a church it considers to be anti-LGBT, and its campaign results in that business going under, will the business owners take the church to court seeking damages? It would seem to me to be a frivolous lawsuit, but then again, in this climate, who knows?” wrote Dreher.

“The fact that Holy Rosary Church has to defend itself in this ridiculous lawsuit is a burden on a charitable organization that no doubt operates on a very tight margin.”

In its lawsuit against the church, Ambridge claims: “Even businesses and government entities that had previously scheduled events with Ambridge who were not affiliated with the LGBTQ community but had equity-driven internal policies, refused to work with Ambridge after reading or hearing about the discriminatory policy involved in its employment relationship with the church.” Ambridge also took issue with the church’s decision to end their contract deal after the company hired an openly gay events coordinator as part of their efforts to “restore its image with its clientele and its relationship with the LGBTO community.”

“The church breached the contract by refusing to discuss or mediate the contract termination with Ambridge, by issuing unilateral restrictions on use of the event center and adjoining property, by demanding Ambridge pay taxes not owed under the contract, and by failing to exercise any effort, best or otherwise, to reach an amicable and mutually agreeable solution to the issues arising under the contract,” continued the complaint.

Ambridge’s complaint against Holy Rosary comes months after the Oregon Court of Appeals ruled against a Christian couple who were sued for $135,000 for refusing to make a gay wedding cake due to their religious objections.

Aaron and Melissa Klein, former owners of Sweet Cakes by Melissa, lost their appeal last December when the court decided that their effort to get an exemption was “a special license for discrimination.”

“The Kleins seek an exemption based on their sincere religious opposition to same-sex marriage; but those with sincere religious objections to marriage between people of different races, ethnicities, or faiths could just as readily demand the same exemption,” argued the appellate court.

My Christianity has always played an important part of my life. In fact, that it’s probably an understatement.

Without Christ, I would be nothing.

He lifts me out of the valley and carries me to the mountaintop.

He restores my soul.

My mind has been on my Christian faith this morning, as it has been the rest of this week.

Boys and girls, if you haven’t noticed yet, Modern American Liberals, still having a National Temper Tantrum over losing the 2016 Presidential Election continue to try to tear this country apart at the seams…all in the name of “tolerance”.

They have completely taken over the Democratic Party, touting a platform which embraces the practice of murdering babies in the womb, and declares that deviant sexual practices, which were one of the factors which led to the downfall of ancient Greece and ancient Rome, are healthy, normal, and a “Civil Right”.

What’s next?

Your Honor, my German Shepherd and I want to get married. We are in love.

We have a church out in Oakland, California telling its members not to trust the Men and Women in Blue, who are there to protect them and to enforce the law.

Does that make any kind of sense to you? What in the Wild, Wild World of Sports is a’goin’ on around here?

I believe it all starts at home.

This current American Generation has, in many cases, been raised without knowing Jesus Christ, or if their parents tried to introduce them to Him, they became seduced by popular culture, and tossed their parents’ Christian Faith aside, because it actually required them to exercise individual responsibility, moral courage, and humility, which involves caring for someone other than yourself.

Popular culture, espoused by Modern American Liberals, teaches that no one is more important than you are and that self-absorbed philosophy is what we are seeing being played out before our eyes today.

From out of this culture has risen a generation of spoiled brats who have grown into selfish adults.

As the aftermath of the election of President Donald J. Trump has shown us, they want their way no matter who they hurt or what damage they may cause to our country.

Growing up, I always noticed that the worst bullies were actually intolerant little nobodies who wanted you to feel as miserable as they did.

That is what is behind the continued push by intolerant Liberals to attempt to force Christians to only practice the Faith of Our Fathers from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Sunday mornings, a practice no longer supported by the current resident of 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue…thank God.

Just as with other fascists before this current generation, the thought of an omnipresent God interferes with their belief that they are the most important thing in the universe.

You see, as long as they are the master of their own destiny, which in fact they are, because God gives us free will, their selfish behavior and their sinful lifestyle, present no personal consequences to them, and therefore, do not keep them awake at night. And yet, when you enter into a conversation with a member of this hedonistic generation, you soon find out that they aren’t as personally happy with their lifestyle choices, as they want you to believe that they are.

Consequently, this whole effort by political and social liberals alike, to push this new set of morals values and ethics on average Christian Americans, stems from the fact that they are all miserable, selfish, little cretins, who want their poor lifestyle choices validated and deemed as normal.

And, that includes the miserable individuals who are attempting to force their lifestyle choice onto the church in the article above.

America remains 75% Christian. And, this fact drives the Far Left, including the “Selfish Generation”, absolutely crazy….and desperate.

Desperate times lead to desperate measures. Hence, this continued push, from the Democratic Party’s Halls of Power on down to activist groups on college campuses, to minimize the roles which Christian Americans play in Popular Culture, and American Society, as a whole.

That is the reason that schoolchildren continue to be told that they cannot mention Jesus in their schoolwork and our Best and Brightest are being told that they cannot tell others about Him during the performance of their duties.

Unfortunately, for the Gay Mafia and the other members of the Far Left, including those in Portland, Christians won’t be listening to them.

We answer to Someone above their pay grade.

We Don’t Need Gun Control, We Need Evil Control

Yesterday morning, in the town of Santa Fe, Texas, the unthinkable happened again.

A student brandishing a handgun and a shotgun taken from his father walked into the high scool which he attended and killed 10 innocent people.

It is apparent that this young man did not act alone as there were several bombs placed around the campus of the school including those of the pressure-cooker variety which were used by the perpetrators of the Boston Marathon bombing,

Immediately after it happened the usual voices were heard , including that of young Media Darling David Hogg, making political hay of the incident and calling for more gun control.

If gun control was the answer to these acts of wanton violence which are happening more and more frequently, then the city of Chicago, Illinois would be the safest place in the United States of America because they have the strictest gun control laws in our nation.

It has been reported that the young man wore a trench coat which had Nazi swastikas and the Communist hammer-and-sickle insignia on it. If this is accurate then it could mean that he was a member of the violent anti-Trump organization of idiots known as the Antifa.

Still, that does not excuse the actions of this young man who so heiniously and efficiently took the lives of those whom he struck down in cold blood.

In both the case of this young man who attended the local Greek Orthodox Church and the mass murderer of innocents at Parkland High School in Florida, there were markers along the way which should have told those who were involved in their lives, both parents and friends, that there was something just not right with them.

You can call it profiling or you can call it a spirit of discernment, as the Bible describes it. Those who were around these individuals should have noticed something.

That is where the title of this piece comes in.

We need evil control. What I mean, is that we need parents to actually act like parents and be involved in their children’s lives. We need teachers and friends who care enough about individuals to say something to both them and to their families when something is just not right.

As someone who watched his parents deal with the mental illness of a family member, I’m not saying that it will be easy. It is a hard thing to face up to and to confront. But, it has to be done.

Those who are constantly calling for gun control seek to punish the entire nation for the actions of some by taking away our 2nd Amendment rights.

If those same people would stop for a moment and consider that guns are inanimate objects which cannot fire themselves and then focus on the true cause of the increase in violence in our nation, then perhaps we could actually start making some headway and provide the care and treatment to the individuals who need it in time to avoid the horrific event of a mass murder, such as happened yesterday in Santa Fe, Texas.

I am not saying that this will get rid of all of the mentally ill people in our country who wish to murder others, but it seems to me that back in the day when parents actually raised their children, along with the rest of the neighborhood who raised us, we did not see this preponderance of violent acts which we are seeing today.

Also, one last thing. Getting back to raising our children and grandchildren in the “Faith of Our Fathers”, wouldn’t be such a bad idea, either.

Trump to Propose Cutting Title X Funding to Planned Parenthood

[Where am I? This is July…not January. What are all these bright lights? What’s that smell? I don’t understand. I was inside my mother, sucking my thumb, all nice and safe and warm. The next thing I know, I feel this pressure on either side of my head, and I was ripped out of my mother.

Why is this happening to me? I have a whole life ahead of me.

I deserve a Mother and a Father. I will never have those. Grandparents, either. Heck, I won’t even get to know my cousins.

I want to know what milk tastes like. I want to hold a Cheerio in my hand and put it in my mouth. I want to know what it’s like to get my first tooth…to take my first step….to hear music for the first time. I want to hold a puppy. I want to have a first day in school. I want to have a best friend. I want to ride a bike. I want to have a best friend and go out to play with them. I want to know what Christmas is all about. I want to eat a turkey leg at Thanksgiving…and to see a fireworks display on the 4th of July. I want to wear costumes on Halloween. I want to go to ballgames with my Father.

I want to watch cartoons. I want to love and be loved.

I want to fall in love. I want to experience my first kiss. I want to have my parents drop me and my date off at the movie and then pick us up. I want to play sports in school…or be an artist…or be a musician…or, just be a kid.

I want to go to a pep rally. I want to dance at a prom. I want to get a report card. Heck, I want to taste a school lunch.

I want to graduate and go to college. I want to start work…and have a family.

I want to live!

Wait! What are you doing with those scissors! Don’t…]

I was born three days before my mother’s 40th birthday. To say I was a surprise is an understatement. As I recently wrote, I truly believe that they were going to name me “Oops”. That being said, I am grateful that God convicted them, regarding the sanctity of the life that my mother was carrying within her.

And now, perhaps more babies will be given the opportunity to live.

On Friday, the Trump administration will announce a proposed rule to cut taxpayer funding to abortionists like Planned Parenthood under Title X, a program that provides $260 million annually in federal funding for contraception and other “family planning” initiatives.

“The proposal would require a bright line of physical as well as financial separation between Title X programs and any program (or facility) where abortion is performed, supported, or referred for as a method of family planning,” a Trump administration official tells THE WEEKLY STANDARD in an email.

The 1970 law establishing Title X states: “None of the funds appropriated under this title shall be used in programs where abortion is a method of family planning.” But in the 1970s and 1980s, the law was interpreted to allow Title X programs to refer patients for abortions, be co-located with abortion clinics, and lobby for pro-abortion policies—so long as federal dollars did not directly fund abortions. In 1988, President Reagan’s secretary of Health and Human Services issued regulations to end these practices that blurred the line between funding contraception and promoting abortion.

The 1988 Reagan regulation was immediately challenged in court and never enforced, but it was upheld by the Supreme Court in a 5-4 decision in the case Rust v. Sullivan. By the time abortionists might have actually lost their Title X funds, however, Bill Clinton took office and killed the Reagan regulation, a policy that has remained in effect to this day. This anti-abortion regulation wasn’t reinstated by the George W. Bush administration.

“Unlike the Reagan regulation, the proposal will not prohibit counseling for clients about abortion, but neither will it include the current, potentially illegal mandate that projects must counsel and refer for abortion,” a Trump administration official tells TWS. “This proposal does not necessarily defund Planned Parenthood, as long as they’re willing to disentangle taxpayer funds from abortion as a method of family planning, which is required by the Title X law. Any grantees that perform, support, or refer for abortion have a choice – disentangle themselves from abortion or fund their activities with privately raised funds.”

Last May, the Washington Times reported that

Planned Parenthood executives joked about decapitated fetuses, admitted to altering abortion procedures to preserve fetal organs and said clinics have a financial incentive to sell human tissue in a new undercover video released Thursday.

The three-minute video was recorded at an annual National Abortion Federation meeting by pro-life investigators with the Center for Medical Progress. The advocacy group said it’s just a preview of never-before-seen content that has been sealed for almost two years due to legal fights.

In the video, Deborah Nucatola, senior director of medical services at the Planned Parenthood Federation of America, admits to altering abortion procedures to preserve fetal organs.

“You know, sometimes she’ll tell me she wants brain, and we’ll, you know, leave the calvarium till last, and then try to basically take it or, actually, you know, catch everything, and even keep it separate from the rest of the tissue so it doesn’t get lost,” Ms. Nucatola says.

Also, Deb VanDerhei, national director of Planned Parenthood’s Consortium of Abortion Providers, admits that some clinics are motivated to sell fetal tissue for profit.

“But the truth is that some might want to do it for — to increase their revenues. And we can’t stop them,” she says in the video.

This is the kind of callousness and unadulterated EVIL which deserves absolutely none of our tax dollars.

Have you ever tried to have a discussion with an ardent pro-abortion supporter, either on Facebook or face-to-face? You won’t hear these “Champions of Tolerance” call those innocent lives, babies, human beings, a life, a soul, a gift from God, or anything remotely resembling something that they should feel remorse about killing.

Heck, Pro-Abortionists are opposed to the taking of sonograms of the woman’s womb, before she has a abortion. They’re afraid that the “seed-carrier” will realize that IS a HUMAN BEING inside her, and will decide not to kill that baby.

I have always said that, in what seems to be a majority of the cases, abortion is a selfish act. It ends the life of an innocent human being, before they have even had the chance to live it.

Life is not, and never will be, a bicycle ride in the park.

Life is a series of challenges, which every person has to meet head on, and make the choice between right and wrong for themselves.

We have been given Free Will by Our Creator because WE ARE LOVED.

In fact, He loves us so much, that He gave us that still small voice, which resides in each one of us, which is referred to in secular terms as the conscience and is known to Christians as the Holy Spirit.

It is this still small voice which helps us make the important decisions which we face in this life, in order to overcome the challenges which we are faced with.

It’s also undoubtedly why the overwhelming majority of Americans remain upset about the ghoulish resurrection of the practices of and imitation of the Third Reich by Planned Parenthood through their monstrous marketing of the body parts of aborted babies.

Regardless of what you see in the Main Stream Media, the majority of Americans still know the difference between right and wrong.

And, so does the President which we elected.

George Will, Mike Pence, and Why the DC Elite Just Doesn’t Get It

Last Wednesday, triblive.com ran an editorial by Former Republican and self-proclaimed Conservative George Will, in which he attacked Vice-President Mike Pence.

Here is the hit piece…

Donald Trump, with his feral cunning, knew. Mike Pence, with his talent for toadyism and appetite for obsequiousness, could, Trump knew, become America’s most repulsive public figure. And Pence, who has reached this pinnacle by dethroning his benefactor, is augmenting the public stock of useful knowledge.

Because his is the authentic voice of today’s lickspittle Republican party, he clarifies this year’s elections: Vote Republican to ratify groveling as governing.

Last June, a Trump Cabinet meeting featured testimonials offered to Dear Leader by his forelock-tugging colleagues. His chief of staff, Reince Priebus, caught the spirit of the worship service by thanking Trump for the “blessing” of being allowed to serve him. The hosannas poured forth from around the table, unredeemed by even a scintilla of insincerity.

Pence chimed in but saved his best riff for a December Cabinet meeting when, as The Washington Post’s Aaron Blake calculated, Pence praised Trump once every 12 seconds for three minutes: “I’m deeply humbled. …” Judging by the number of times Pence announces himself “humbled,” he might seem proud of his humility, but that is impossible because he is conspicuously devout and pride is a sin.

Between those two Cabinet meetings, Pence and his retinue flew to Indiana for the purpose of walking out of an Indianapolis Colts football game, thereby demonstrating that football players kneeling during the national anthem are intolerable to someone of Pence’s refined sense of right and wrong. Which brings us to his Arizona salute last week to Joe Arpaio, who was sheriff of Maricopa County until in 2016 voters wearied of his act.

Noting that Arpaio was in his Tempe audience, Pence, oozing unctuousness from every pore, called Arpaio “another favorite,” professed himself “honored” by Arpaio’s presence, and praised him as “a tireless champion of … the rule of law.” Arpaio, a grandstanding bully and darling of the thuggish right, is also a criminal, convicted of contempt of court for ignoring a federal judge’s order to desist from certain illegal law enforcement practices. Pence’s performance occurred eight miles from the home of John McCain, who could teach Pence — or perhaps not — something about honor.

Henry Adams said that “practical politics consists in ignoring facts,” but what was the practicality in Pence’s disregard of the facts about Arpaio? His pandering had no purpose beyond serving Pence’s vocation, which is to ingratiate himself with his audience of the moment. The audience for his praise of Arpaio was given to chanting “Build the wall!” and applauded Arpaio.

It is said that one cannot blame people who applaud Arpaio and support his rehabilitators (Trump, Pence, etc.) because, well, globalization or health care costs or something. Actually, one must either blame them or condescend to them as lacking moral agency. Republicans silent about Pence have no such excuse.

There will be negligible legislating by the next Congress, so ballots cast this November will be most important as validations or repudiations of the harmonizing voices of Trump, Pence, Arpaio and the like. Trump is what he is, a floundering, inarticulate jumble of gnawing insecurities and not-at-all compensating vanities, which is pathetic. Pence is what he has chosen to be, which is horrifying.

A Christian American Conservative is horrifying?

I’ve always thought that we were pretty cool.

But, I digress…

Remember, this is the same snob who wrote the following about good old-fashioned American blue jeans on April 16, 2009:

Denim is the carefully calculated costume of people eager to communicate indifference to appearances. But the appearances that people choose to present in public are cues from which we make inferences about their maturity and respect for those to whom they are presenting themselves.

…Today it is silly for Americans whose closest approximation of physical labor consists of loading their bags of clubs into golf carts to go around in public dressed for driving steers up the Chisholm Trail to the railhead in Abilene.

This is not complicated. For men, sartorial good taste can be reduced to one rule: If Fred Astaire would not have worn it, don’t wear it. For women, substitute Grace Kelly.

If it had been up to Beltway Boys like Mr. Will, Conservatives would have behaved like good little sheeple and shut up and voted for Jeb! in the 2016 Republican Presidential Primaries.

Elitist snobs like George Will will never understand the outcome of the 2016 Presidential Election.

They thought for sure that Hillary had it won.

Remember the faces of the Talking Heads on MSNBC that fateful night?

As soon as Trump’s victory was announced, I switched from watching Fox News to MSNBC just to have the satisfaction of seeing the looks on their faces of disbelief.

It was great.

Just like the Modern American Liberals in the Democratic Party, the GOP Elite, including, at the time, George Will, believed that there was no way that Trump would become President and resigned themselves to the “fact” that Hillary Clinton would be the 45th President of the United States of America.

To snobs like George Will, the results were “horrifying”.

As you can see by reading his editorial, Will, like the rest of his co-workers at MSNBC have not gotten over the fact that Trump is President and that Mike Pence is his Vice-President.

Just imagine…a President and Vice-President who actually love America and her citizens,

And, who unashamedly reference the God of Abraham in their speeches as being the Author of our FREEDOM.

Why, how “gauche”.

How, “horrifying”.

WHAT A BLESSING.

Trump’s Popularity Polls Climb as Christians Continue to Support Him…Why?

The Christian Post reports that

President Donald Trump signed an executive order creating the White House Office of Faith-Based and Community Initiatives, expanding upon previous administrations’ faith-based initiatives.

At a National Day of Prayer event held at the White House Rose Garden on Thursday morning that featured speakers of diverse religious backgrounds, President Trump signed the executive order.

“The executive branch wants faith-based and community organizations, to the fullest opportunity permitted by law, to compete on a level playing field for grants, contracts, programs, and other Federal funding opportunities,” reads the order in part.

“The efforts of faith-based and community organizations are essential to revitalizing communities, and the Federal Government welcomes opportunities to partner with such organizations through innovative, measurable, and outcome-driven initiatives.”

In his remarks at the Rose Garden event, Trump championed his administration’s efforts to protect the religious liberty of people both in the United States and overseas and labeled the executive order a “historic action.”

“The faith initiative will help design new policies that recognize the vital role of faith in our families, in our communities, and our great country,” stated Trump.

“This office will also help ensure that faith-based organizations will have equal access to government funding and the equal right to exercise their deeply held beliefs. We take this step because we know that in solving the many, many problems and our great challenges, faith is more powerful than government. And nothing is more powerful than God.”

Another story found at The Christian Post shows that President Trump practices what he preaches.

In an interview with CBN News shortly after Trump held a celebration for the National Day of Prayer in the Rose Garden, Pence said the president has encouraged praying in the White House by personally promoting the practice himself.

“There’s prayer going on on a regular basis in this White House. And it’s one of the most meaningful things to me, whether it’s public meetings or not, I’ve lost count of the number of times that the president has nudged me, or nudged another member of the Cabinet and said, ‘Let’s start this meeting with prayer,'” Pence said.

That loud thunderclap that you just heard was the sound of Internet Trolls’ and NeverTrumpers’ sphincters all slamming shut in unison across the country over this post.

With the Trump-Russia Collusion Fairy Tale fading slowly into the sunset, Liberals’ “Big Weapon” against Trump has been the word of a woman who has made her living on her back claming that she and the President had an affair and that she was paid off to go away.

The problem facing Liberals is that this story has not had the earth-shaking impact on the President’s popularity that they thought it would.

The fact of the matter is that Trump’s popularity just grew by 18 points in a Reuter’s Poll, rising to 50% in a Liberal -heavy survey.

Why aren’t Americans buying what the Democratic Party and their Vanguard, the Main Stream Media, are so desperately attempting to sell?

Perhaps it has to do with what Dr. James Dobson, the Christian Leader who founded “Focus on the Family” said before the 2016 Presidential Election about Trump’s faith.

Only the Lord knows the condition of a person’s heart. I can only tell you what I’ve heard. First, Trump appears to be tender to things of the Spirit. I also hear that Paula White has known Trump for years and that she personally led him to Christ. Do I know that for sure? No. Do I know the details of that alleged conversion? I can’t say that I do. But there are many Christian leaders who are serving on a faith advisory committee for Trump in the future. I am among them. There are about 25 of us that include Jerry Falwell, Jr., Robert Jeffress, Jack Graham, Ben Carson, James Robison, Michele Bachmann, and many others whom you would probably know. We’ve all agreed to serve. How will that play out if Trump becomes president? I don’t know. It is a good start, I would think.

If anything, this man is a baby Christian who doesn’t have a clue about how believers think, talk and act. All I can tell you is that we have only two choices, Hillary or Donald. Hillary scares me to death. And, if Christians stay home because he isn’t a better candidate, Hillary will run the world for perhaps eight years. The very thought of that haunts my nights and days. One thing is sure: we need to be in prayer for our nation at this time of crisis.

Dr. Dobson was not alone.

The thought of Hillary becoming President of the United States of America scared a lot of Americans.

But, I digress…

So, why are Christian Americans still supporting President Trump?

Our Salvation is not determined by the support of our American President…but, by God’s Grace.

As Christians we are instructed to individually listen to that “Still Small Voice” inside us.

While Christians, in church and outside of it, represent the corporate Body of Christ, according to scripture, we each possess the Spiritual Gifts of Free Will and Discernment.

These gifts are used by each of us on a daily basis, including aiding in our decision to continue to support President Trump.

Unlike Liberals and Marxists (but, I may be repeating myself), we do not make our political decisions or vote as a collective, nor should we.

There were no Saints who ran for the President of the United States of America, on either side.

Just a flawed man, as we all are, and a woman…a very mean and evil woman.

When President Trump, like the rest of Christian Americans, attends a Sunday Morning Service, he is not sitting in a Shrine for Saints. He is sitting in a Hospital for Sinners.

Like the rest of us Christians, President Trump does not have to be perfect…just FORGIVEN.

Why Didn’t the Alfie Evans Story Happen Here?

After writing a post for yesterday morning about the tragic death of little 23 month old Alfie Evans, who was denied additional treatment by the British Government in defense of their Government-run Socialized Healthcare System, I got to thinking about exactly why Americans have fought so hard against it being implemented in our country…

…and why the Democratic Party has fought so hard for it.

Then, the following article caught my eye.

CNSNews.com reports that

Two-thirds (65%) of white Democrats do not believe in a God or higher spiritual power that is “all-knowing, all-powerful, and all-loving,” Pew Research Center reported Wednesday.

Pew released results of a new survey of more than 4,700 U.S. adults regarding their views on the existence and nature of “God, higher power or spiritual force” showing that 95% of Republicans and 95% of nonwhite Democrats believe in God/higher power. But, only 78% of white Democrats believe in the existence of God/higher power.

And, while two-thirds of both Republicans (67%) and nonwhite Democrats (64%) say God is “all-knowing, all-powerful and all-loving,” only a third of white Democrats (35%) share this belief:

About three-fourths of Republicans say God influences their lives, but less than two-thirds of Democrats agree:

Socialized Medicine actually accomplishes the exact opposite that Modern American Liberals claim that it does.

It does not “humanize” America’s Healthcare System.

It dehumanizes it.

Nobody is a living, breathing human being under Socialized Medicine.

We, like innocent little Alfie Evans, become “burdens” to the State.

Instead of vessels with souls inside of them, we become numbers on some government bean counter’s ledger sheet.

The United Kingdom has sublimated Christianity in the day to day lives of their populace to such an extreme degree that callouses have grown upon their very souls.

The embracing of a secular culture and the belief that they are the arbiters of what is right and wrong, combined with the embracing of the cultural norms of those who have migrated into their country, have led to an abandonment of Great Britain’s Traditional Faith and Values System.

It is the installment of a Socialist Government where the citizens of the United Kingdom are now the Proletariat, instead of valued creations of the God of Abraham.

So why are we Americans not in the same boat as the citizens of the United Kingdom?

Because our system of government, as designed by our Founding Fathers, was put together with due deference to “Our Creator” and the rights of the individual to “life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness”.

America is not a monarchy. Neither is our president selected by mob rule.

Each of the “United States” and every individual’s vote therein counts.

For the past decade, Americans have experienced an attempt to socialize our Healthcare System which is in the process of collapsing in upon itself.

Thank God for that.

Otherwise, our nation would be in the situation that the United Kingdom finds itself today…

…with the blood of an innocent on its hands…

…all because of a failed political philosophy which disregards the human soul.

Booker Vs. Pompeo/Political Correctness Vs. American Christianity

CIA Director Mike Pompeo, who is President Donald Trump’s pick to be the next Secretary of State, was grilled on Thursday about his religious beliefs on homosexuality and his views on Islam at a U.S. Senate hearing.

Sen. Cory Booker, D-N.J., cited past statements made by Pompeo and asked whether he would specifically say that being gay is a perversion, to which the prospective Secretary of State replied: “When I was a politician, I had a very clear view on whether it was appropriate for two same-sex persons to marry. I stand by that.” 

Pointing out that there are some gay persons in the State Department who are married, Booker then asked if he believed gay marriage should not be allowed.

Pompeo responded, “We have married gay couples at the CIA … I treated them with the exact same set of rights …” 

Before Pompeo could finish his statement, Booker again pressed him, asking, “You believe that gay sex is a perversion? Yes or no?”

The CIA director replied, “I’m going to give you the same answer I just gave you previously. My respect for every individual regardless of their sexual orientation is the same.”

Tony Perkins, president of the Family Research Council, called the questioning a “litmus test” but said he was impressed by how Pompeo handled it.

“Not satisfied with Pompeo’s pledge to treat everyone with respect and dignity, Sen. Booker demanded an endorsement of gay sex. Is this the Left’s new litmus test for public service?” Perkins tweeted.

At another point in the hearing, Booker also pressed the CIA director on his views on Muslims, asking whether he believes that people worshiping “other gods” is a negative thing in America.Pompeo responded, “You can look at my record. … My record is exquisite with respect to treating people of each and every faith and no faith with the dignity they deserve, to protect the right to practice their religion or no religion, for that matter.”

“I’ve heard these critiques … I’ve worked closely with Muslim leaders, with Muslim countries, the CIA has saved countless, thousands of Muslim lives during my 15 months. This is at the core of who I am. … I promise you that I will treat persons of each faith or no faith with the dignity and respect that they deserve,” he added.

So, when did standing up for your beliefs and principles and speaking the truth become “politically incorrect”?

I am aware that political correctness has been around for a good while now.

However, when Barack Hussein Obama became President of the United States, political correctness seemed to become magnified by 100 fold.

For example, you could not criticize Obama without being called a Bigot or a Raaaciiist.

This seems awfully hypocritical to me, because all of the self-proclaimed experts on political correctness are presently busy calling President Donald J. Trump everything but a child of God every day that he remains in office.

Remember when Obama first got in the office? His Foreign Policy Team told Americans that we could no longer call acts of Muslim Terrorism, acts of Muslim Terrorism. They were to be known from then on as man-caused disasters.

The longer that the Liberals or “Progressives” remain in power, the dumber their attempts to enforce political correctness over Americans seem to be.

Ask Mike Pompeo.

And, the more determined they are to force their Relative Morality and Situational Ethics down the throats of the actual overwhelming majority of average Americans, living here in “flyover Country”, who want no part of it.

For example, the attempt by Liberals to force businesses to allow transvestites into women’s restrooms.

States like North Carolina and Mississippi then passed laws limiting the use of public restrooms to those of the “biological sex” that aligns with the label on the door.

Assignment by equipment.

A very easy concept to understand for the overwhelming majority of Americans.

However, Modern American Liberals are “special”.

Do you remember when New York Governor Andrew Cuomo said that Conservative Republicans,

Right-to-life, pro-assault weapons, anti-gay — if that’s who they are, they have no place in the state of New York because that’s not who New Yorkers are.

And New York City Communist Mayor, Bill DeBlasio, publicly agreed with his remarks?

Imagine if the Governors of the states of North Carolina and Mississippi had proclaimed that all Democrats, Liberals, and libertarians, gay or straight “had no place in the state of Mississippi because that’s not who Mississippians are”.

Oh, Lawdy.

Democrat Pundits, and Liberal and small “l” libertarian Politicians, on both sides of the aisle, would have a bigger conniption than that of Rosie O’Donnell, if she were banned from America’s all-you-can-eat buffets.

Concerning the question about treating Muslims differently, yes, it is ideal to treat people the way they treat you.

However, while I have met some very nice American Muslims, I have also been inside a mosque where I was looked at as if they wanted to take a scimitar to my neck.

If Moderate Muslims are not behind their radical brethren’s eternal jihad against us infidels, they need to get their mugs in front of the cable news networks’ TV cameras and say so…because all I see representing them when I turn on the news, are the abrasive members of CAIR, blaming America for all the world’s troubles.

Which is ironic, because the Former President of the United States of America is demonstrably Islam’s biggest supporter in this country, as so aptly proven by his refusal to participate in the March Against Radical Islam, led by 50 World Leaders, held in Paris, France after the horrible Islamic Terrorist Attack there.

Are “The Smartest People in the Room” so contrary, as to not realize that Radical Islam punishes every single social issue that American Liberals so “righteously” defend in this nation?

The maddening thing is that every time you challenge Liberals on this fact, they try to equate Radical Islam with American Christianity.

Frankly, the ignorance of Modern American Liberals blows my mind.

Cory Booker jumped on Mike Pompeo with both feet in the name of “political correctness” for two very specific reasons:

  1. Pompeo is a member of a White House Bible Study Group.
  2. Liberals believe that they are their own god and they worship at the altar of political correctness.

Thursday’s Hearing showed without a doubt that Professional Politicians like Cory Booker, especially Liberal Ones, are out of touch with average Americans and they view Traditional American Values, such as Christianity, to be antiquated and unnecessary in their future political vision of a Democratic Socialist America.

Well, they can wish for that all they want to.

Meanwhile, America needs a strong, intelligent Secretary of State,

And, MIke Pompeo would make a great one.

Being “politically correct” has no business being one of the qualifications for the job.

Progressive “Christians” Hold “Revival” in Lynchburg, Call Out Jerry Falwell, Jr and Pro-Trump Christians

The Christian Post reports that

Shane Claiborne and a cadre of progressive Christians are spearheading a “revival” this weekend at an event to draw a contrast to the “America First” Christianity they say Liberty University President Jerry Falwell Jr. and pro-Trump Christians promote.

What is being called “Red Letter Revival: A Revival of Jesus & Justice” is being held at the EC Glass Civic Auditorium in Lynchburg, Virginia, and features speakers and musicians that include well-known progressive faith leaders like the Rev. William J. Barber, Tony Campolo, and Lisa Sharon Harper, among several others.

The Red-Letter Revival in Lynchburg has been months in the making and was planned in part to be a witness against what they see as the corruption of Christian faith by conservative evangelical Christians, particularly their willingness to embrace President Donald Trump and his policies.

“We are not coming to condemn Falwell Jr., but to counter the doctrine of ‘America First,’ with the Christian message — that we cannot put allegiance to a nation-state ahead of our allegiance to the Kingdom of God as taught by Christ, in which the last are first,” wrote Jonathan Martin, one of the organizers, in a Feb. 21 editorial.

“We are not looking to demonize anyone, but rather to proclaim the One at whose name demons tremble. We are believing God for the Lynchburg Revival to be a powerful counter-witness to white Christian nationalism — marked by fasting, repentance, prayer, preaching, worship, and foot-washing.”

He went on to explain that Lynchburg has “symbolic power,” given that it’s the city from which Falwell Jr., has promoted “President Trump’s brand of Christian nationalism,” yet “we believe it can be known as ground zero for a mighty move of God.”

“How does Claiborne expect Falwell to respond in light of some of Claiborne’s recent tweets?” Fea asked, citing a Wednesday Twitter post from Claiborne that included an April 3 Associated Press news story headline that read “Virginia Revival to Protest ‘Toxic’ Christianity.”

“I have strongly criticized Falwell’s comments about Trump,” Fea reiterated, adding, “but if Falwell Jr. prays with Claiborne, it looks like he (Falwell) is admitting that he is wrong about Trump and that the Christianity he promotes at Liberty is indeed ‘toxic.’ If Falwell Jr. doesn’t pray with Claiborne, he looks like a jerk.”

“The fact that Claiborne shared these letters via Twitter makes it look like there is more going on here than just a request for prayer. Did Claiborne really believe Falwell Jr. would take him up on this offer?”

I did a little research and found out that

Shane Claiborne is a Red Letter Christian and a founding partner of The Simple Way community, a radical faith community that lives among and serves the homeless in the Kensington neighborhood of Philadelphia. He is the co-author, with Chris Haw, of “Jesus for President”. His newest book is “Executing Grace: Why It is Time to Put the Death Penalty to Death”.

He is a Social Justice Warrior and a featured writer on sojo.net, the official website of the Sojourners.

And, who are “The Sojourners”? I’m glad you asked.

Founded by Jim Wallis, Sojourners is a Washington, DC-based Christian evangelical ministry professing a devotion to the pursuit of “social justice.” Believing that capitalism serves to “normalize poverty and segregate the world by class,” this organization views “gospel faith” as something that “transforms our economics … and provides a vision for social revolution.” According to Wallis, the world’s chief capitalist giant — America — is “the great power, the great seducer, the great captor and destroyer of human life, the great master of humanity and history in its totalitarian claims and designs.”

In the 1980s the Sojourners community actively embraced liberation theology, which teaches that the New Testament gospels can be properly understood only as calls for social activism, class struggle, and revolution aimed at overturning the existing capitalist order and installing, in its stead, a socialist utopia where today’s poor will unseat their “oppressors” and become liberated from their material (and, consequently, their spiritual) deprivations. Animated by this perspective, Sojourners rallied to the cause of communist regimes that had seized power, especially in Latin America, with the promise of bringing about the revolutionary restructuring of society. Particularly attractive for the ministry’s religious activists was the communist Sandinista regime that took control of Nicaragua in 1979.

I do not believe that Jesus would be a part of the Social Justice Movement, advocated by the Modern American Liberals of the Democratic Party. His was and is a soul-saving movement. One that still brings hundreds of thousand of people to individual salvation on this terrestrial ball every day. A movement that, in fact, was embraced by the founders of this cherished land.

The Social Justice Movement is an offshoot of Marxist Theory, named for the radical who conceived it, Karl Marx. It’s basic tenet states,

From each according to his ability to each according to his need.

The modern translation, provided for us by Former President Barack Hussein Obama, during his 2008 Presidential Campaign, is that working Americans need to “share the wealth”.

That, boys and girls, is “Socialism” and, in Marxist Theory, Socialism is the step before Communism.

A simple definition of Socialism describes it as

a political and economic theory of social organization that advocates that the means of production, distribution, and exchange should be owned or regulated by the community as a whole.

After President Barack Hussein Obama took office, he made a point of stating several times that America was not just a Christian nation anymore.

And, while that remains true to a certain extent, it is also true that the overwhelming majority, 75% of Americans, still proclaim themselves to be followers of Jesus Christ. And even beyond that, 92% of Americans still believe in God.

What is amazing to me, though, is how,  American Christianity is still being constantly attacked on all fronts:  militarily, culturally, and even within organized religion, itself, as demonstrated by Shane Claiborne and the rest of the Progressive “Christians” at the Lynchburg Revival.

From illegal immigration to abortion to homosexual “rights”, Americans who follow the teachings of Jesus Christ on these issues have been under fire by Progressive “Christians like Shane Claibornes, who insist that they know more about what is in the Bible and what Christ says, or would say, about these topics, then those of us who actually read God’s Word.

Claiming to be wise, they became fools. – Romans 1:22

When you enter into a Facebook “discussion” with these “new Pharisees”, and you counter their arguments on these topics with Scripture, Liberals are initially slow to respond.

All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, – 2 Timothy 3:16 ESV 

Most Liberals will start “Googling” these topics, looking for any Scriptures that will substantiate their position.

There’s been many a time they have come back at me with Old Testament Scripture. It is then that I explain to them about the sacrifice that Christ made for us sinners, freeing Christians from Jewish Law and taking the punishment for our sins , creating a New Covenant by covering Christians through the shedding of His blood.

At that point in the “discussion”, there is a long pause, as they are trying to figure out a comeback.

The natural person does not accept the things of the Spirit of God, for they are folly to him, and he is not able to understand them because they are spiritually discerned.- 1 Corinthians 2:14

This misconception, which I have been trying to explain, involves Liberals’ belief that American Christians will not fight back against them and the things they want to say and do in our society.

If there’s one thing during all of the years of anti-Christian bias, which we experienced during the Obama administration, and now, 17 months after Christian Americans helped elect American Businessman and Entrepreneur Donald J. Trump as the 45th President, that the Liberals should have learned, is the fact that Christian American Conservatives will fight back.

It is funny though…that when we begin fighting back, the Liberals have a tendency to label us as uncaring, mean, divisive, and intolerant

Which is extremely ironic because as shown through their words and actions, those who consider themselves to be the “Smartest Christians in the Room”, these Modern-Day Liberal Pharisees, who wish to embarrass supporters of President Trump, like Jerry Falwell, Jr., are actually the meanest, most divisive, and least tolerant of us all.

“Let he who is without sin…”

He is Risen! Resurrection Day 2018

This morning, as I lay in bed, The Lord had me thinking about Him. These thoughts were about what today, a day that Christians around the world celebrate as the day that Jesus Christ rose victorious from the grave, must have been like.

Pretend for a moment, that you are an average citizen living at the time of Christ…

[For the past three years, you have seen this charismatic young man speak about the love and mercy of God, and how His Grace and Forgiveness is freely given, IF…

And, there’s the catch…

According to this carpenter’s son from Nazareth, you have to confess your sins, and ask the Great I am, for forgiveness.

Whoa! Wait a minute. Who is this guy? A radical? Ask Yahweh for forgiveness. And, what’s that he said? You will then have a personal relationship with His Father?

How can that be? This is the Great I am. This is the Deity of Vengeance who destroyed those escaped slaves from Egypt for throwing a party, while Moses was up on a mountain, and building and worshiping a Golden Calf.

And, remember what happened to King Nebuchadnezzar? Daniel interpreted a dream for him, explaining that his kingdom would be ruled over by Gentiles until God sent His King. Ol’ Nebby got mad, because he couldn’t rule over the Israelites and over the whole world unless God allowed him to do so. He forgot that, and became very proud. He tried to make the people think that he was very wonderful, and that they should worship him. He didn’t trust God as some of the kings of the Israelites did, but had the very foolish idea that he could be a wise and wonderful king without any help from God.

So, what do you suppose occurred?

Why, the King had another dream, and when he found out what it meant it was really terrible. In this dream God told him that he would lose his mind and would go out in the field and eat grass just like the cattle for seven years. And Nebuchadnezzar actually did this, too. Can you imagine a mighty king, as he thought himself to be, crawling around on the ground eating grass? The Bible tells us that his hair grew long and coarse and looked like bird feathers, and his fingernails became like the claws of animals.

Finally, though, Nebuchadnezzar’s reason returned to him, and when he found out what he had done he was very much ashamed of himself. However, he learned by this experience that he was not as wise and powerful as he had thought. Learning this, he gave praise to God for allowing him to be the ruler.

This is the God that the guy from Nazareth is telling us that we can have a personal relationship with?

Strange indeed.

I have noticed that while he is hanging there the guards and some of the townspeople there are mocking Jesus, telling him that if he is the Son of God, to ”jump down off of that cross”. Meanwhile,  some of the centurions are casting lots over his robe.

All except this one centurion, who is just watching Him, as if he is waiting for something to happen…]

And, then came the Glorious Morning…

[Wow. It’s really been amazing around here since they crucified Jesus. Did you feel that earthquake? The veil of the temple was torn in half! And did you hear? A bunch of people that had died years ago, were seen walking around the city! But that’s not all. Don’t tell me you haven’t heard?

Listen to this: He has risen! He arose from the dead and was seen by several people. It’s true! I know it sounds unbelievable. I can scarcely take it in myself. Mary Magdalene and Mary, James and Salome’s mother, went to the tomb to perform the anointing of His body and it wasn’t there! On top of that, there was this young guy there, dressed in a white robe. They said he must have been 9 feet tall. He said, “You are seeking Jesus of Nazareth. Why do you seek the living among the dead? He is not here. See the place where you laid him.” So they went and told the disciples. But you know how Peter is. He just had to go run up there and see for himself.

Jesus even approached two of them on the road to Emmaus. They didn’t recognize him. He even broke bread with them that night. They realized who He was and He disappeared! They ran to tell the disciples and as they were telling them, Jesus appeared right in front of them! They were all starting to panic. Jesus said, “Peace to you.” But they couldn’t believe it was him, especially Thomas. So he had him touch him in the hole in his hand where they drove the nail and where the spear pierced his side.

Jesus ate with them and performed other signs and miracles in front of them and they understood scripture as never before. He also came to them at the Sea of Tiberius. Peter took the disciples fishing and they weren’t catching anything. Jesus told them from the bank to cast the net down on the right side. They did, and they could hardly bring it in the boat! When they got back to land, Jesus already had a fire going and some fish and bread ready to eat. He asked Peter three times if he loved Him, and each time He told him “Feed my sheep’. Hey, isn’t that the same number of times Peter Denied Him?

Anyway, He taught them many things before He left. They watched as He was taken straight up into heaven. Can you imagine?

The disciples are making plans now to go out and starting spreading the Good News about Jesus’ Resurrection. They are talking about going out in pairs. Man. Nothing is ever going to be the same again.]

The despair being felt by the average citizens of Rome, at the time, is not unlike the situation which we, as average Christian Americans, find ourselves in today.

We, too, are still struggling in the darkness before the dawn.

Our American Culture has been crumbling before our very eyes, as sin, depravity, and personal irresponsibility have been lauded by “the smartest people in the room” as normal, and values to be embraced…a Golden Calf to be worshiped by those who have turned their backs of the Almighty, because He will not give them the worldly gratification they seek…and because they erroneously believe that they are smarter than God, and can interpret and ignore God’s Holy Word in order to ignore and to rewrite to make it mean whatever they want to, in order to assuage their own consciousness, in an attempt to stifle that “Still Small Voice” within them, Who is reminding them of their sin and the consequences of it.

On April 2, 1983, United States President Ronald Wilson Reagan spoke the following words, as part of an Easter/Passover Address:

This week as American families draw together in worship, we join with millions upon millions of others around the world also celebrating the traditions of their faiths. During these days, at least, regardless of nationality, religion, or race, we are united by faith in God, and the barriers between us seem less significant.

Observing the rites of Passover and Easter, we’re linked in time to the ancient origins of our values and to the unborn generations who will still celebrate them long after we’re gone. As Paul explained in his Epistle to the Ephesians, “He came and preached peace to you who were far away and peace to those who were near. So then you were no longer strangers and aliens, but you were fellow citizens of God’s household.”

This is a time of hope and peace, when our spirits are filled and lifted. It’s a time when we give thanks for our blessings-chief among them, freedom, peace, and the promise of eternal life.

This week Jewish families and friends have been celebrating Passover, a tradition rich in symbolism and meaning. Its observance reminds all of us that the struggle for freedom and the battle against oppression waged by Jews since ancient times is one shared by people everywhere. And Christians have been commemorating the last momentous days leading to the crucifixion of Jesus 1,950 years ago. Tomorrow, as morning spreads around the planet, we’ll celebrate the triumph of life over death, the Resurrection of Jesus. Both observances tell of sacrifice and pain but also of hope and triumph.

As we look around us today, we still find human pain and suffering, but we also see it answered with individual courage and spirit, strengthened by faith. For example, the brave Polish people, despite the oppression of a godless tyranny, still cling to their faith and their belief in freedom. Shortly after Palm Sunday Mass this week, Lech Walesa faced a cheering crowd of workers outside a Gdansk church. He held his hand up in a sign of victory and predicted, “The time will come when we will win.”

This great AMERICAN PRESIDENT also once said,

We are never defeated unless we give up on God.

Fellow Christian Americans….my message to you on this Resurrection Day 2018 is

DO NOT GIVE UP ON GOD. DO NOT GIVE UP ON THE FOUNDING FATHERS’ HOPE, WHICH BECAME AMERICA.

As the old country Preacher’s wife always told him,

Hold on to your fork, Hon. Dessert is on it’s way.

The final chapter of the amazing story of our Blessed Land has not been written yet. It is up to each and every one of us to write it, strengthened by the Grace of God.

David Hogg, Phil Robertson, America, and Me

As I chronicled yesterday, The March For Life was held in 853 cities in American and around the world, for the purpose of protesting “Gun Violence” and to lecture Americans about how wonderful taking away some of our Second Amendment Freedoms through Gun Control would be.

The Liberal Poster Boy for the event was, of course, David Hogg, a young man whose claim to fame is being a survivor of the Parkland High School Valentine’s Day Massacre.

To show you how much of a teen idol this guy is, here is an excerpt of a story about his speech at the event in Washington, DC, courtesy of Teen Vogue…

The cold grasp of corruption shackles the District of Columbia,” David said. “The winter is over. Change is here. The sun shines on a new day, and the day is ours.” He asked the crowd who would be voting in the 2018 midterms, and responded to their cheers, “If you listen real close, you can hear the people in power shaking. They’ve gotten used to being protective of their positions, choosing the safety of inaction. Inaction is no longer safe. And to that we say, ‘No more!'””We are going to make this the voting issue,” David continued.

“We’re going to take this to every election, to every state and every city. We’re going to make sure the best people get in our elections to run, not as politicians, but as Americans. Because this,” David said, pointing at the U.S. Capitol behind him, “this is not cutting it. When people try to suppress your vote, and there are people who stand against you because you’re too young, we say, ‘No more!'”

…”Now, they will try to separate us in demographics, they will try to separate us by religion, race, congressional district, and class,” he warned the crowd. “They will fail. We will come together. We will get rid of these public servants that only serve the gun lobby. And we will save lives. You are those heroes.”

David closed his speech issuing a rallying cry to drive people to the polls in 2018: “This is the start of the spring and the blossoming of our democracy, so let’s take this to our local legislators and let’s take this to midterm elections because without the persistent heat, without the persistence of voters and Americans everywhere getting out to elections, democracy will not flourish, but it can and it will.”

“To those politicians who say change will not come, I say we will not stop until every man, every woman, every child, and every American can live without fear of gun violence,” David said as he ended his speech. “To that I say, ‘No more!'”

As I wrote yesterday, those marches being ballyhooed by the Main Stream Media were all organized and funded by the usual suspects: Soros-funded non-profit organizations whose sole purpose in life is to restrict our freedoms through the old fascist mantra of claiming that limiting individual freedom is “for the sake of the children”. when in reality, it is for the sake of a “New Fascism”.

When our Founding Fathers sat down to provide form and substance to the laws and procedures for governing this new country, which they had fought and won a bloody war over, by pledging their lives, their fortunes, and their sacred honor, they were very aware of the price of tyranny.

They determined that this new nation would be a Constitutional Republic, having had their fill of monarchies.

In order to ensure that no leader of this new nation would go mad with power, and become a tyrannical despot, our Founders set up a System of Checks and Balances, overseen by Three Branches of Government: the Legislative, the Executive, and the Judicial, with each branch having a distinct and LIMITED  role.

The situation, which we as a nation, find ourselves in today, is one which our Founding Fathers sought valiantly to avoid.

Thanks to 8 years of the Imperious Obama Presidency, we are still suffering under a “Tyranny of the Minority”.

This minority is not based on color, rather, it is one based on political ideology and self-interest.

As the past several years have shown, this minority, buoyed by money from this “sponsors”, including the Halls of Power in Washington, DC, will shut down anyone who threatens “what they’ve got” by ANY MEANS NECESSARY, including political devices and beliefs, which we, as a country, have gone to war against in the past.

A few years back, the Patriarch of the Mega-hit Television Program, “Duck Dynasty”, Phil Robertson, sat down with Fox News’ Sean Hannity, and, as per usual, Brother Phil told it like it was…

…HANNITY: So we got to win those political battles, too. I think they’re just as important.

ROBERTSON: Yes. I just feel a little more comfortable dealing in the spiritual realm, even with the persecution of whatever comes with it, I’m just — I have a task to do and I go forth across America. I’ve been doing this, most people don’t realize, I’ve been doing this for 35 years.

HANNITY: Yeah.

ROBERTSON: I’ve been all over the United States backwards and forwards, and my message is always the same, god loves you, sent Jesus to die for you.

HANNITY: When the controversy arose were you surprised?

ROBERTSON: Surprised, not at all. Blessed are you when men hate you, when they exclude you, when they insult you and reject your name as evil, Jesus said, because of the son of man. Leap for joy because great is your reward in heaven. It goes with the territory, spiritual warfare. There is a Satan out there, an evil one, and if anyone that looks at our culture doesn’t believe it, I would simply say, what, are you blind? It’s pretty rough out there.

HANNITY: I wrote a whole book “Deliver Us from Evil.”

ROBERTSON: Yep.

HANNITY: How do you explain Pol Pot and the killing fields, Adolf Hitler, Nazi Germany, fascism, communism, imperial.

(CROSSTALK)

ROBERTSON: Evil.

HANNITY: And then how do you explain murder, and pedophilia, and rape – – evil.

ROBERTSON: Yes, yes.

HANNITY: See, when you use these spiritual terms some people get, you can’t say that.

ROBERTSON: We took the 10 commandments now and removing them from the courthouse and we’re getting them out of our psyche. We took God out of our schools. Well, if you started with young people and you taught them, you rebuke them, you corrected them, you trained them, you instructed them to obey their father and mother, honor their father and mother, don’t murder, don’t lie, don’t steal from a young age, is anyone trying to tell me that we wouldn’t have a better society? I mean, it’s nuts.

What causes somebody to “wig out”, or to have what psychiatrists call “a break with reality”? Is it caused by some genetic abnormality? Is it caused by socialization? Or, it Brother Phil right? Does the Devil make them do it?

In my present job, I get to talk to people from all walks of life. I am usually a pretty good judge of character. However, you never know…

The event which started the National Walkout Day and the March For Our Lives, the Parkland High School Massacre, was perpetrated by one lone psychopath, whom, according to local authorities was judged to have needed to have been locked up in the looney bin 2 years previous to that fateful Valentines Day 2018.

So ,now, because of the actions of that one lone psychopath, Liberal Activists are using our children and grandchildren as unwitting dupes, having them tell the world how wonderful it would be if Americans had their Second Amendment Rights restricted.

 

Brother Phil was right about how widespread evil is in our society.

A Few years ago,, while I was pursuing one of my favorite activities, perusing Facebook to see what was going on, I was on one of my favorite political pages, of which I happen to be a moderator, when I noticed that an anonymous poster had posted an anti- American Armed Forces message just to get some attention. In fact, this guy was so far around the bend, that he posted that our military deserved to die because of the interventionism and nation-building foreign policy of the United States. When he became cornered and was asked to account factually for his comments on Facebook, this loon even suggested that the Japanese attacked the US Military at Pearl Harbor, because of things they had already done and they bore no ill will toward the American people.  When I asked him whose sons and daughters did he think that the US military consisted of, he went strangely silent.

Of course, this guy wound up getting banned from that Facebook Page. Then he came back under a phony profile, and got banned again.

We later found out that this troubled soul had been banned from several Facebook Pages for posting under phony names, posting incessantly, and threatening female posters.

By now. you’re probably asking, “So what do these two examples have to do with each other and with David Hogg and the March For Our Lives or what Phil Robertson said to Sean Hannity?”

First off, restricting all Americans Second Amendment Rights is not going to stop the fruitcakes and the criminals for getting guns

There is a reason that we don’t all go out killing another and there is also a reason why we’re not all fruitcakes who go around looking for attention, threatening people on Facebook.

Now you can call it genetics, you can call it socialization, you can call it the proper alignment of the moon and stars…I choose to call it the Grace of God.

There is a comforting old saying which states

There but for the Grace of God go I.

Our American Pop Culture, being incessantly marketed by Liberals, espouses and embraces a reflection of not simply an immoral society, but, an amoral one, whose concept of right and wrong is “Whatever Gets You Through the Night (It’s Alright. It’s Alright.)”, and whose ultimate authority is not the God of Abraham, but a Godless Central Government, whose credo is

From each according to his abilities, to each according to his needs. (Karl Marx)

Just as Marxism has failed wherever it has been tried before, so will it fail here.

Just as amorality and licentiousness led to the destruction of the Roman Empire, so, if unchecked, will it lead to America’s.

The galling thing is the fact that, even though American Christians remain 76% of the population, we are propagandized and suppressed in both the Old and New Media, to make it seem as if WE are the Minority, when, in fact, WE are the overwhelming Majority.

It is this New Generation of Amoral Socialists, who are in fact, just a tiny, albeit vocal, Minority of America’s population.

So, what can an average Christian American, like you and me, do about this “Tyranny of the Minority”?

As the Apostle Paul tells us in Ephesians, we can STAND.

However, you cannot stand without “the full armor of God”. I have found, as have my family and friends, that the better that you are doing, in terms of your Christian Walk, the harder that you will be attacked.

10Finally, be strong in the Lord and in the strength of His might. 11Put on the full armor of God, so that you will be able to stand firm against the schemes of the devil. 12For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the powers, against the world forces of this darkness, against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places.…- Ephesians 6:10-12

The more we stand up for the Triune God, the harder the Enemy attacks…in all areas of our lives…including our political beliefs.

They expect Christian Americans to be “sacrificial lambs”, to meekly allow our Constitutional Rights to be stripped from us, remaining unseen and unheard from, and worshiping in private.

Well,  y’all can wish for a unicorn to magically appear in your backyard…but that ain’t gonna happen, either.

Our Lord and Savior stood up and got angry for Righteousness’ Sake. Do you seriously expect Christian Americans to do no less?

We are given free will by our Creator will to make choices and decisions on the direction of our lives. Being human, we often don’t make the right decisions and being human, those decisions have the potential to lead us down a dark path.

Whether is in reality or strictly in the close quarters of our own consciousness, the path we choose to follow is up to us. However, our parents, family, and friends can make a difference in our journey and I thank God that through His Grace that I was given a Father who made sure that I received loving instruction in The Way in which I should go.

Average Americans still believe that we live in the greatest country on the face of the earth, as was demonstrated on November 8, 2016.

We do not cower or willingly give up our Constitutional Rights so that we might “be taken care of” by a “benevolent” government.

It was that sort of “benevolence” that caused our ancestors to leave their homes and coming to “The Land of the Free and the Home of the Brave”.

As Founding Father Dr. Benjamin Franklin so famously said,

They who can give up essential liberty to obtain a little temporary safety deserve neither liberty nor safety.

That being said, we still have a responsibility to one another.

We can stand for what is right or for what is easy.

The Light or the Darkness. The choice is up to each and every one of us.
