Per FoxNews.com …”Multiple people have been arrested this weekend after allegedly vandalizing the newly refurbished Lincoln Memorial Reflecting Pool, prompting a strong response from President Donald Trump and an increase in security at the site.

In a statement on Truth Social Saturday night, Trump announced “many additional people” have been arrested after suspects “took some form of knife or blade, and put a 250-foot-long gash into the beautiful facade of what took so much work, competence, and money to build and complete.”

The president also alleged suspects “poured corrosive and destructive chemicals” into the basin.

“It hasn’t looked or worked like this since 1922, when it was originally built, but even then, it leaked badly, and didn’t work,” Trump wrote in the post. “Ours worked perfectly, including the mirror like finish, perfectly reflecting the two Great Monuments, which it never had before! What these terrible Vandals have done is a true affront to both Presidents George Washington and Abraham Lincoln, and should be dealt with accordingly.”

What Americans have witnessed, because of the hatred that has been generated into other Americans by foreign and domestic activists, including the Far Left Democrat Party, is beyond the pale.

I don’t care if you don’t like President Trump, he received an Electoral Landslide when he was re-elected.

While that did not mean that all the people in the big metropolitan areas in the Northeast and Left Coast voted for him, everybody else did, as you can see on electoral maps that show an ocean of red.

It is time for those on the Left to act like Americans and put on their big boy pants and get on with life.

Desecrating our national monuments and being purposely divisive will not ensure America a bright and lasting future.

Putting America first while ensuring that those who are leaching off of American citizens while not making any effort to become a citizen here and preying on Americans like a bunch of wild jackals are deported back to the hell-holes they came from will help.

However, I believe after seeing Washington, DC and our national monuments so desecrated by vandalism and areas of our country where you cannot go outside at night and have a life that on this Father’s Day it starts with strong fathers and father figures in the lives of both young men and women as they grow up.

Respect, honor, pride, and reverence for God and Country must return in order for America, as we know it, to last.
