As someone who has been brutalized by police, I continue to stand in strong solidarity with Palestinians rising up against military, police, and state violence. Congress must stop funding human rights abuses by the Israeli military.
– Rep. Cori Bush, Twitter, 5/10/21
FoxNews.com reports that
Missouri Democratic Rep. Cori Bush praised the Black Lives Matter activist who advocated “death” for police officers in 2014 and tweeted the BLM chant “pigs in a blanket fry ’em like bacon.”
Bush, a newly minted member of the “squad,” compared the ongoing conflict in Israel and Gaza with the Black Lives Matter movement during a speech on the House floor Thursday, reflecting on the life of Bassem Masri, who died in 2018.
Bush described Masri as a “St. Louis Palestinian,” noting how he garnered national attention for live streaming heated exchanges between himself and Ferguson police officers following the 2014 shooting of Michael Brown Jr.
Masri was among those arrested on a variety of charges following demonstrations outside the Ferguson Police Department in November 2014. Just one month later, Masri tweeted what became a notorious BLM phrase: “Pigs in a blanket, fry ’em like bacon.”
“As a Palestinian, he was ready to resist, to rebel, to rise up with us as our St. Louis community mourned Mike Brown, Jr.’s state sanctioned murder, and as we demanded an end to the militarized police occupation of our communities,” Bush said in an address to lawmakers on Thursday. “Palestinians know what state violence, militarized policing, and occupation of their communities look like.”
“So when heavily militarized police forces showed up in Ferguson in 2014, Bassem and so many others of our St. Louis Palestinian community, our Palestinian siblings showed up too,” she continued.
Cell phone footage captured in a live stream on Oct. 8, 2014, showed a crowd of people surrounding police officers in St. Louis as one man yelled obscenities, the local FOX affiliate reported.
“Coward straight pig out here b—! You gotta go. Your life is in danger homie,” one man yelled at a police officer. The man yelling was Masri, who then asked an officer, “What happens when we take your gun?”
Masri told police officers, “I’m praying for your death and your death and your death and your death,” as he pointed at one after another.
The St. Louis activist later told a local FOX affiliate, “If the citizen is pissed, you don’t look at the citizen and say ‘oh he’s bad, he’s a terrorist’ you look at the police and say ‘how come this man is mad at y’all’.”
“I don’t want to get hurt. I don`t want to go to jail,” he added. “I’m a citizen who’s mad.”
Masri died in 2018 from what Bush described in her floor speech as a “health crisis.”
The Missouri Democrat continued her speech by comparing the events that led to the Black Lives Matter movement to the recent deadly rocket fire in the Middle East.
“That harassment, that extortion, that brutalization by heavily armed militarized presence in our community, that’s what we fund when our government sends our tax dollars to the Israeli military,” the Missouri congresswoman said.
Bush suggested diverting funds used to bolster Israeli military support to St. Louis communities instead.
The Israeli and Palestinian death toll has steadily climbed since fighting started Monday, with at least 122 people dead in Gaza and at least eight people dead in Israel, according to the BBC.
Bush led the mob outside the home of Mark and Patricia McCloskey with a bullhorn screaming, “You can’t stop the revolution!”
The McCloskey’s were indicted by Soros prosecutor Kim Gardner for exercising their 2nd Amendment rights on their own property when they were assaulted and threatened by the mob of white Black Lives Matter terrorists.
For those of you wondering who Bassem Masri was, Here as excerpt from an article found on LegalInsurrection.com on October 25, 2014, during the height of the Ferguson Riots…
…As much tension as there is, an underreported story is the active role of “pro-Palestinian” activists who have exploited the Ferguson riots and tension this summer and fall to push their anti-Israel agenda. That anti-Israeli agenda, which involves encouraging confrontation with police in solidarity with Palestinians, is helping provide the accelerant to an already volatile situation.
It started with a propaganda campaign over the summer when Brown was shot. On Twitter and elsewhere, anti-Israel activists started tweeting messages of “support” for protesters in Ferguson, including advice on how to deal with tear gas.
It was a highly organized effort to exploit the Ferguson tension and co-opt it into the anti-Israel cause:
….But there is one anti-Israel activist who actively is trying to provoke a confrontation between protesters and police, even taunting police in crowd situations about losing their guns and hoping they die.
His name is Bassem Masri.
Masri presents himself as a journalist, but the mask is off.
Masri has been touting anti-Israeli conspiracy theories while organizing Ferguson protests, via Free Beacon:
Angry protesters in Ferguson, Mo., shut down CNN’s live broadcast Monday night after repeatedly heckling the reporter and cameraperson for working for an organization “run by AIPAC” and “Zionists.”
The heckling is audible in a video filmed by protester Bassem Masri, whose Twitter profile touts the Palestinian cause and reads “long live Palestine.”
“You f@#king lie about Ferguson; you lie about Occupy Wall Street; you lie about Palestine. You’re all run by Zionists,” one protester said. “We’re holding y’all accountable.”
The hecklers threatened to shut down future CNN broadcasts. “They’re an AIPAC-run agency,” Masri said. “Don’t even think that we won’t.”
Much more ominously, Masri appears to be directly fomenting violence…
So, Rep. Bush fits in with the other anti-Semitic members of “The Squad”.
Through her speech in the the House of Representatives, she inadvertently show here true colors as an anti-American, anti-Semitic, cop-hating Fascist Marxist.
She praised a Muslim Insurrectionist who hated everything that America stands for, including Law and Order.
By comparing the cowardly barbarians of Hamas to BLM, she hit the nail on the head without even realizing how right she was.
Both are Hate Groups, formed to take over and tear down countries and cultures which brave men and women have given their lives to build, secure, and protect.
Rep. Cori Bush is a hateful little nobody who is a stain on the floor of the House of Representatives.
If she loves the Palestinians so much, she should move to the Gaza Strip and experience how they treat women…
……and take the rest of the Anti-Semitic Anti-Americans in The Squad with her.
Until He Comes,
