A Megalomaniac in Miami

While thousands of Americans gathered at Tea Party Events throughout America yesterday, President Barack Hussein Obama (mm mmm mmm) gave them  the following gracious (sarc)  shout-out at a Democratic National Committee Fundraising Event held in Miami, Florida.  The Magnificent One orated the following reconciliatory (sarc) words:

I’ve been a little amused over the last couple of days where people have been having these rallies about taxes, the president said, noting the numerous tax cuts pushed by his administration. You would think they’d be saying thank you.

For all the sound and fury and all the scare tactics… the law doesn’t hand more control to the government, the president said, it gives it back to you, the American people.

Obama borrowed a line from Vice President Biden, telling the audience, this is a big deal but strategically omitting the expletive Biden infamously was heard using on an open microphone just weeks ago.  Joe’s got a way with words, and he was right, it’s a big deal.

And the president challenged Republicans and others seeking to repeal health care legislation, saying, Go for it.

meg·a·lo·ma·nia:   a delusional mental disorder that is marked by feelings of personal omnipotence and grandeur.

It is an understatement to say Americans have never seen a President like this one.   Hubris hangs around this guy as thick as the ash from the Icelandic Volcano.   He truly believes that Americans should be bowing at his feet for passing the Porkulus bill, which has been a monumental failure, proposing a Federal Budget which includes $989 billion in new taxes over the course of the next 10 years, starting fiscal year 2011, most of which are tax increases on individuals, and,  by every sleazy way imaginable, ramming through the Healthcare, err, Health Insurance, err, Healthcare Reform Law, the biggest entitlement program in the history of America.

To say that taking more of our feedom and money away from us by means of a out-of-control Federal Government is something we should be thankful for is delusional at best, and dictatorial at worst.

Scooter, I hope you have some other skills.  You are way out of your league in attempting this whole Presidential man-of-the-people thing.

By the way, Mr. President,  I do thank Someone every day for my life and His benevolent hand in it.  And it sure “ain”t” you.  Not even close.
