As I sat down to write the following article last night, I went to FoxNews.com to see what their opinion of the debate was.
I had to rub my eyes to make sure that I was not seeing things.
The writers for the Fox News Website declared it close…and a draw!
Evidently, they were not watching the same debate that I was.
Vice-President Pence hit it out of the proverbial ballpark last night in the Vice-Presidential Candidates Debate.
He took on two Democrats, the Moderator, who is writing a biography of Nancy Pelosi, and Democratic VP Candidate Kamala Harris and handled them both with a calm but direct plainspoken manner that I am certain was appreciated by the American Voting Public….considering the fact that his opponent spent the debate on the verge of having a screaming hissy fit.
Kamala Harris, who jump-started (yes, I said it) her political career as 60 year old politician Willie Brown’s 20-something year old paramour, had all of the Democratic Talking Points down pat.
She tried to call President Donald J. Trump a racist. She tried to deny that she and Democratic Presidential Candidate Joe Biden came out against fracking.
She tried to make Americans believe that she, Biden, and the rest of the Far Left Democrats who have been calling for defunding the police, actually support them.
Heck, she even tried to deny her own record as a prosecutor in California.
Meanwhile, Moderator Susan Page, the Washington Bureau Chief for USA Today, was cutting off the Vice-President on, seemingly, every single response, while allowing Kamala Harris more time to answer her questions.
I should be shocked about a biased Moderator.
Heck, I should be shocked about Fox News moving to the Left.
But…I’m not.
I was scratching my head about the pick of “Heels Up” Harris as “Sleepy Joe Hiden’s” running mate.
Then, I realized that if, God forbid, those two clowns were actually elected that Biden would “decide” shortly after his Inauguration that he was too ill to carry out the duties of the Presidency and the Democrats would gleefully have another “historic first” occupying the Oval Office.
Having said that,I also realize how Tulsi Gabbard and now, Vice-President Mike Pence,so easily owned her in a debate.
As we say in Dixie,
Her cornbread ain’t done in the middle.
Until He Comes,
