For God and Country: A Day to Remember Charlie Kirk

Today at State Farm Arena in Glendale, AZ, over 100,000 people, including the President and Vice-President of the United States of America and several dignitaries, will come together to honor and remember the life of Conservative Activist/Evangelist Charlie Clark.

Struck down by an assassin’s bullet in the prime of his life at only 31 years old, Charlie not only leaves behind his beautiful wife Erika and their two precious children, he leaves behind a legacy of honesty, intelligence, patriotism, and faith.

Charlie’s passion was debating young people, answering their questions about politics and faith in an honest and impactful way.

He went straight into the lion’s den, holding events in colleges and universities where Far Left professors were teaching young people that traditional American faith and values were divisive, narrow-minded, and passé.

Charlie invited everyone to ask questions of him and answered their questions clearly, thoughtfully, and fairly.

When a student came up and tried to give him a gotcha question, Charlie smiled and turned the tables on them in a polite manner that they probably had never seen before from their Far Left propagandizing professors.

Charlie amazed people with his knowledge and his debating skills.

Having dropped out of college to pursue his dream of turning around the pervasive ideology that had invaded college campuses, Charlie surprised both students and professors by his expansive knowledge of history and his own Christian faith.

Like Rush Limbaugh before him, Charlie Kirk became an enemy of those who want to change America into something that it was never meant to be, changing our Constitutional Republic into a Democratic Socialist totalitarian government in which individual rights are supplemented to the will of the State.

That is the reason that a propagandized and brainwashed individual, egged on by others unknown to us at this time, shot and killed Charlie on that faithful day, one day before the anniversary of the worst terrorist attack in American history.

Since then, those same forces who have attempted to propagandize our young people against America, have been loud and vocal, making up lies against Charlie and posting them on social media in a fervent attempt to destroy his legacy.

They are losing their battle, as millions of Americans will be watching the memorial service today for Charlie Kirk, having sworn to the Lord above and in their own hearts to carry on the fight of Charlie Kirk for God and Country, as they proudly proclaim…

“I AM CHARLIE KIRK!”

1939 Deja Vu: “Those Who Ignore History…”

“The Holocaust is generally regarded as the systematic, state-sponsored persecution and slaughter of approximately 6 million Jews — two thirds of the total European Jewish population, and two-fifths of the Jews in the entire world — but also millions of other victims, by the Nazi regime and its collaborators under Adolf Hitler.

When World War II erupted on September 1, 1939 and Germany gained victory over Poland, the Nazis began to enslave the Poles and destroy their culture. The first step was to eliminate the leaders and intelligensia. Many university professors, politicians, writers, and Catholic priests were murdered. Polish people were dislocated to make room for the “superior” Germans.

Following the German invasion of the Soviet Union in June 1941, Einsatzgruppen, or mobile killing units, carried out mass-murder operations. On September 29 and 30, 1941, for example, more than half of the 60,000 Jews living in the Ukrainian capital of Kiev were marched into a ravine and shot.

More than 1.3 million men, women, and children were murdered in such outdoor massacres. Hitler also authorized an order to exterminate institutionalized, handicapped patients deemed incurable. The practice went on throughout the war.

During the war, the Nazis created ghettos, or city districts (often enclosed), in which the Germans forced the Jewish population to live under miserable conditions. More than 400 ghettos were established, the largest of which was the one in Warsaw, Poland, where approximately 450,000 Jews were crowded into an area of 1.3 square miles.

By the middle of 1941, 4-5,000 Warsaw Jews perished every month from hunger and disease brought on by malnutrition. Between 1942 and 1944, Germans decided to eliminate the ghettos and deport their populations to “extermination camps,” or killing centers equipped with gassing facilities, in Poland. That was known as the “Final Solution to the Jewish Question” — implemented after a meeting with senior Nazi officials in January 1942.

Between September 1939, when Nazi troops invaded Poland, and Germany’s surrender in May 1945, Hitler and his army essentially waged two wars. One was against Allied forces on three continents and the other was against the Jews and other unfortunate civilians.

(After) The Third Reich collapsed in May 1945. SS guards fled and many of the concentration camps were turned into displaced person camps. Between 1948 and 1951, nearly 700,000 Jews emigrated to the new state of Israel. Approximately 140,000 Holocaust survivors came to America after 1948, most settling in New York. My father proudly served in World War II as a Master Sergeant in an Army Engineering Unit.

He participated in D-Day on June 6, 1944.

My Father, along with the rest of his unit who survived the initial assault, would go on to assist in the cleaning out of the Concentration Camps, bearing witness to man’s inhumanity to man.

The horrors he saw had a profound effect on him. One which he would keep to himself for the remainder of his life. While his children knew that he served with an Engineering Unit in World War II, they did not know the full extent of his service, until they found his medal, honoring his participation in the Invasion of Normandy, while going through his belongings, after he passed away on December 29, 1997.

What we have been witnessing on America’s college campuses and in the streets of our major cities is an insult to the legacy of all those brave men and women who gave their lives to fight fascism and anti-Semitism in World War II.

Anti-Semitism is pervasive among today’s Far Left Liberal Democratic Party.

Anti-Semitism is the norm in Marxism in all of its forms, including “Democratic Socialism”.

Anti-Semitic groups tend to gravitate toward each other, finding solace and kindred spirits in their shared hatred of the Jewish people.

For those of you who are not old enough to have actually studied history before the Liberals started revising it, the world has bore witness to this phenomenon before.

A socialist political party in a developed nation joined forces with Islamists before, based on their mutual hatred of Jews.

You may have heard of them. They were the National Socialist Party of Germany, otherwise known as the Nazis.

They caused the mass extermination of millions of European Jews, the Holocaust which gives Congresswoman Tlaib “a calming feeling”.

The political philosophies that the Modern Democrats are now embracing are the antithesis of whom they claim to be.

The false equivalencies which have been thrown about, for the last few weeks all over the cable news channels and the internet by Liberal Pundits, paid and unpaid, trying to justify the murderous cowardly actions of the Palestinian Terrorist Organization, Hamas, boggle the mind of any rational, well-informed American.

While Israel has been one of our nations staunchest allies since their birth as a nation in 1948, Hamas, who took over for the Palestinian Liberation Organization, hates our ever-loving guts, and would behead every single American, man or woman, adult or child, without any regret whatsoever. Because to them, we are infidels, and “The Great Satan”, against which they are waging a “Holy Jihad”, not to mention the fact that Israel is our closest ally.

For Liberals, like the members of the “Squad”, the Academic Elite, the Useful idiots they have indoctrinated, and the Democrat Political Elite to support murders and to advocate for a “nation” which never even existed is nothing but an exercise in stupid, dangerous naiveté for the sake of a political ideology…

…and proves continuously that denial is not just a river in Egypt.

House Republicans: “Significant Circumstantial Evidence” That COVID-19 Started as a Leak From Wuhan Institute of Virology…Were Americans Involved in the Research?

1800x1200_coronavirus_1

…You know, we have not taught communism properly in the schools in this country for at least 30 years, since the 1980s. And we have to consider that Xi Jinping and the ChiCom Politburo came up with a way to share the effects of this virus with everybody else in the world to make sure they were not the only ones damaged by it.

…In other words, these are communists. They treat their own citizens horribly. They don’t care. If something like this is gonna wreck them, then they’re gonna make sure they’re not the only ones that suffer, either reputational damage — they don’t want it thought that these viruses emanate, originate in China. They don’t want that. And they don’t want any economic damage. So it’s a fascinating theory.  – Rush Limbaugh, 4/15/20

FoxNews.com reports that

Republicans on the House Intelligence Committee say there is “significant circumstantial evidence” that the COVID-19 outbreak stemmed from a leak at the Wuhan Institute of Virology, urging the federal government to put “more pressure on China” to allow for a “full, credible investigation” into the source of the global pandemic.

Committee Ranking Member Devin Nunes, R-Calif., and Republicans on the panel released a report Wednesday, first obtained by Fox News, saying it is “crucial for health experts and the U.S. government to understand how the COVID-19 virus originated” to prevent “or quickly mitigate future pandemics.”

“International efforts to discover the true source of the virus, however, have been stymied by a lack of cooperation from the People’s Republic of China,” Republicans wrote. “Nevertheless, significant circumstantial evidence raises serious concerns that the COVID-19 outbreak may have been a leak from the Wuhan Institute of Virology.”

Republicans pointed to China’s “history of research lab leaks resulting in infections,” and warnings from U.S. diplomats in China as early as 2017 that the Wuhan lab was conducting “dangerous research” on coronaviruses without following “necessary safety protocols, risking the accidental outbreak of a pandemic.”

Republicans also pointed to public reports that “several researchers in the Wuhan lab were sickened with COVID-19-like symptoms” in Fall 2019, and the Chinese military’s “involvement in the Wuhan Lab.”

“By contrast, little circumstantial evidence has emerged to support the PRC’s claim that COVID-19 was a natural occurrence, having jumped from some other species to human,” they wrote, saying Chinese authorities “have failed to identify the original species that allegedly spread the virus to humans, which is critical to their zoonotic transfer theory.”

Committee Republicans also claimed there are “clear signs” that U.S. government agencies and academic institutions “may have funded or collaborated in Gain of Function research” at the Wuhan Lab, claiming that research “was published even after the U.S. government had paused these kinds of studies in the United States due to ethical concerns over their biowarfare applicability and their potential to accidentally unleash a pandemic.

“To protect American citizens from future pandemics, the U.S. Government must place more pressure on China to allow full, credible investigations of the source of the COVID-19 pandemic and to allow probes of the likelihood that it resulted from a lab leak,” the report states. “The U.S. Government must also provide a full accounting of any American cooperation with the Wuhan lab’s coronavirus research, including the support of these projects through U.S. Government funds.”

The report was released after Nunes and other GOP members on the committee penned letters to President Biden and Director of National Intelligence Avril Haines, accusing the intelligence community of failing to provide timely updates on its investigation into the origins of COVID-19 and of not being “forthcoming” about “what processes it undertook to make seemingly authoritative statements early in the pandemic about the origins of the virus — conclusions that are now in question.”

The letters demanded that the intelligence community turn over all of its information on COVID-19’s origins, requesting any reporting on a possible “collaboration” between the Wuhan lab and the Chinese military. It asked for any evidence intelligence agencies had to prove coronavirus broke out naturally and originated in animals, and also asked if the intelligence community was involved in any reviews of “gain of function” research and whether it was appropriate to fund such research outside the U.S.

The letters set a deadline of May 31 to begin providing information relevant to the request.

In an article from February 20th of last year, posted on qz.com by Jan Li, their Chinese Tech Reporter, she states that

The institute first rejected speculation that the first patient to be infected  with the virus was a graduate student who studied at the lab, saying on Sunday (Feb. 16) the student is in good health. Yesterday (Feb. 19), it issued a strong worded statement (link in Chinese), saying the rumors about it have “hurt the feelings of its frontline researchers hugely”  and “severely interfered” with its task to study viruses. “We have nothing to hide,” the letter read. Nonetheless, internet users don’t appear to be convinced by the assurances from the lab. “What is the truth? The collapse of trustworthiness of media and government is not only sad for the two parties, but also for us citizens,” said a user on Weibo commenting on the rumors. “Some might think the so-called rumors are just a prophecy ahead of our times,” said another.

Some “rumors” from the early days of the epidemic after all turned out not to be far from reality. Li Wenliang, a doctor, had told others about a cluster of cases of viral pneumonia before the outbreak had been made public, but was summoned by Wuhan police for “spreading rumors.” He later became infected himself, and his death turned him into a vivid symbol of the costs of the government’s opacity—prompting an outpouring of anger and grief, and rare public demands for freedom of speech and transparency from the government.

The Chinese people themselves knew that their Communist Government Officials were lying about the origin of the Coronavirus.

Unfortunately, the Chinese Communists are famous for making people “disappear”.

Meanwhile, here in America, the Chinese have infiltrated Colleges and Universities, due to a program started under the Obama Administration.

The Recruitment Program for Innovative Talents (Long Term) targets people under 55 years of age who are willing to work in China on a full-time basis, with full professorships or the equivalent in prestigious foreign universities and R&D institutes, or with senior titles from well-known international companies or financial institutions. – “The Thousand Talents Plan”

Per their website, 1000plan.org, China initiated the Thousand Talents Plan at the end of 2008.

By 2017, China had recruited more than 7,000 professionals, per a bi-partisan Senate Sub-committee report titled “Threats to the U.S. Research Enterprise: China’s Talent Recruitment Plans” published in November of last year.

Okay. Why was this allowed in the first place?

And, why didn’t the Federal Government put a stop to it?

Who was the President in January of 2009?

Oh, wait…Now, I remember (with a little help from The Washington Post)

Obama became the first U.S. president to visit China during his first year in office. But his administration was taken aback by how completely the Chinese controlled all aspects of that visit.

“He wasn’t allowed to say much at all,” said Orville Schell, a longtime China scholar who was in China during the visit. “The Chinese kept him from meeting certain people, from taking questions or even radio broadcasts. He didn’t know quite how to respond. He didn’t want to be impolite. It took the U.S. a while to understand that this was the direction China and the relationship was headed.”

Some have blamed Obama for adopting such an overly optimistic and open stance during those early years. For all his outreach, current and former top U.S. diplomats say, Obama got little in return, except the feeling of being burned by Beijing.

Well, gosh.

Could it be that the 44th President of the United States of America’s naivete has led to the Chinese Communists’ infiltration of America’s Education System and the Professional Bureaucrats of the “Deep State”?

Did Former President Barack Hussein Obama “act stupidly”?

Does Adam Schiff look like Deputy Barney Fife?

Are These Colleges or Daycares? From the Greatest Generation to the “Snowflake” Generation

recycle-signs-600-la

As you all probably know by now, the election of Donald J. Trump to the Office of  President of the United States has sent all of the “Special Snowflakes”, who are the 20-something year-olds attending college, running for their “safe spaces”.

Foxnews.com reports that

Teddy bears, Play-Doh and coloring books are staples of nursery schools, but now they are showing up on college campuses to help distraught students cope with the election of a president they don’t like.

Around the nation, students are turning to the tools of toddlers as a bizarre form of therapy in the wake of Donald Trump’s election last week. Colleges and universities are encouraging students to cry, cuddle with puppies and sip hot chocolate to soothe their fragile psyches, an approach some critics say would be funny if it weren’t so alarming.

“This is an extreme reaction from millennials who are being forced to come to terms with the fact that we have a president that they don’t like –this is what losing feels like,” Kristin Tate, the 24-year-old author of “Government Gone Wild,” told FoxNews.com. “We are grooming our students to be sensitive crybabies when we need to be showing students how to deal with world situations and how to be adults –there are no ‘safe spaces’ in the real world.”

Among the top-notch schools sending devastated students back to their early childhood:

  • Cornell University recently hosted a “cry-in,” complete with hot chocolate and tissues for disappointed Hillary Clinton supporters.
  • University of Pennsylvania brought in a puppy and a kitten for therapeutic cuddling.
  • Tufts University held arts and crafts sessions for students.
  • University of Michigan Law School scheduled an event for this Friday called “Post-Election Self-Care With Food and Play” with “stress-busting self-care activities” including coloring, blowing bubbles, sculpting with Play-Doh and “positive card making.”

University of Michigan spokesperson Kim Broekhuizen told FoxNews.com the law school was providing these programs based on requests from the students on campus. But on Thursday, following media scrutiny, the event was scrubbed from the school’s website and replaced with a more age-appropriate discussion of the “limitations of executive power.”

In an email, Broekhuizen declined to say why the original event was scrapped, and said the Ann Arbor school often faciilitates similar stress-battling activities.

“These kinds of events are scheduled throughout the year including during high-stress times such as finals, mid-terms and presidential elections,” Broekhuizen wrote. “The event was scheduled before the outcome of the presidential election was known.”

At University of Michigan-Flint, students are able to visit “safe spaces” and receive counseling for their post-election needs, a program that Business Professor Mark Perry called “disturbing.”

“Institutions of higher learning have gone from being places that might be described as ‘intellectual boot-camps,’ where [students] are challenged with a diversity of new ideas, to being places that might now be, more accurately, described as ‘kindergartens’ for adults where they are no longer challenged, but instead treated as fragile, intellectual children and coddled with a ‘safe place’ response to anything challenging or unsettling,” Perry, who also is a scholar at The American Enterprise Institute, told FoxNews.com.

Boston University skipped the hot chocolate and therapy animals, but scheduled a set of post-election discussions aimed at helping students process a democratic election that didn’t go their way.

“Because the results of this election differed so dramatically from pre-election polls and the expectations gleaned from national media coverage, many people had difficulty comprehending how it came about,” Boston University spokesman Colin Riley told FoxNews.com. “These programs are helping students and others to sort through the results –it is more than how to deal with one’s feelings.”

Discussion and debate is certainly more in keeping with academic tradition than coloring books. But one BU student told FoxNews.com that a Nov. 9 email from the University, titled “Tips for engaging in self-care,” sent the wrong message.

“It is crazy that the school is handling the outcome of an election more than a serious terror attack,” the student told FoxNews.com. “We didn’t get a ‘self-care’ guide during any of them –not even after Paris last November while I was studying abroad.”

Cornell Psychology Professor Katherine Kinzler said not all students at the Ithaca, N.Y., Ivy League school are handling the prospect of President Trump like babies.

“My students tell me they are having conversations about their role as young adults in driving civic engagement, and the implications of the election for their nation and for their futures,”  Kinzler wrote in an email to FoxNews.com. “Students thinking through the issues and coming together can help us create productive solutions for the many critical problems of our times.”

It appears that these millennials believe that they have cornered the market on sensitivity. They have invested their very souls in it, allowing their quest for sensitivity to run and ruin their lives, leaving the males among them resembling a mirror image of the goofy looking guy in red pajamas who was sipping his latte in that advertisement that was encouraging all of us to buy Obamacare.

Sensitivity did not start with this generation.

Please allow me to tell you the story of another sensitive 20-something year-old, who was a member of the Greatest Generation.

D-Day, also called the Battle of Normandy, was fought on June 6, 1944, between the Allied nations and German forces occupying Western Europe. To this day, 72 years later, it  still remains the largest seaborne invasion in history. Almost three million troops crossed the English Channel from England to Normandy to be used as human cannon fodder in an invasion of occupied France.

Among the young men who stepped off those boats, in a hail of gunfire, was a fellow named Edward, whom everyone called Ned, from the small town of Helena, Arkansas.  Already in his young life, Ned had been forced to drop out of school in the sixth grade, in order to work at the local movie theatre to help support his mother, brother, and sister, faced with the ravages of the Great Depression.

He was a sensive soul. A gentle man who loved to laugh and sing, having recorded several 78 rpm records in the do-it-yourself booths of the day. And now, he found himself, a Master Sergeant in an Army Engineering Unit, stepping off a boat into the unknown, watching his comrades being mercilessly gunned down around him.

Ned, along with the rest of his unit who survived the initial assault, would go on to assist in the cleaning out of the Concentration Camps, bearing witness to man’s inhumanity to man.

The horrors he saw had a profound effect on Ned.  One which he would keep to himself for the remainder of his life.  While his children knew that he served with an Engineering Unit in World War II, they did not know the full extent of his service, until they found his medal, honoring his participation in the Invasion of Normandy, going through his belongings, after he passed away on December 29, 1997.

Unlike my father and the other brave men and women who served during World War II overseas and on the homefront, these college kids who are protesting the election of Trump as our next president are succeeding and doing nothing worthwhile. The only thing they are succeeding at is making themselves the laughing stock of the nation.

These young people will be graduating eventually and moving into the business world.

What are they going to do when they get a job and they fail at an assignment the boss gives them and they get chewed out for it? Curl up in a corner and color and play with Play-Doh?

Puhleeze.

Suck it up, buttercups.

Trump won.

Obamacare and America’s “Yutes”: The Thrill is Gone

obamacareyouthAs President Barack Hussein Obama’s Signature Legislation, the Affordable Care Act, or Obamacare, continues to swirl down the ol’ porcelain receptacle, the Administration has targeted America’s young people. Obamacare was designed on the presumption that young Americans will go head over heels for the new Healthcare Exchanges, and, in turn, that will finance the plan.

Guess what? That ain’t happening, according to nydailynews.com,

Fears that insurance exchanges that are the linchpin of President Barack Obama’s federal health care overhaul wouldn’t attract the young, healthy people needed to make them financially viable are being heightened by the early results of signups in several states.

If it becomes a trend, that could lead to increases in insurance premiums and deductibles next year. Along with the paltry enrollment numbers released this week, officials in a handful of states said those who had managed to sign up were generally older people with medical problems — those with the greatest incentives to get coverage.

It’s unclear whether that will persist. Young, healthy people may be more inclined to procrastinate, especially given doubts about the law’s technically flawed online signup system. They have until Dec. 15 to sign up if they want to be covered on Jan. 1.

Insurers have warned that they need a wide range of people signing up for coverage because premiums paid by adults in the younger and healthier group, between 18 and 35, are needed to offset the cost of carrying older and sicker customers who typically generate far more in medical bills than they contribute in premiums.

The first set of enrollment data revealed that 106,000 people signed up for coverage nationwide, far short of the 500,000 initial sign-ups the Obama administration had expected. In states where officials discussed more detailed information, it also became apparent that the people who flocked to the exchanges after they opened Oct. 1 were those who were desperate for coverage.

In California, the state with the largest uninsured population, most of those who applied were older people with health problems. In Kentucky, nearly 3 of 4 enrollees were over 35. In Washington state, about 23 percent of enrollees were between 18 and 34. And in Ohio, groups helping with enrollment described many of those coming to them as older residents who lost their jobs and health coverage during the recession.

However, the administration is going to do whatever they can to force young Americans to participate in Obamacare, even those young folks who are still in college, as foxnews.com reports…

For decades, universities and colleges have offered students bare-bones policies. But because of the Affordable Care Act, those policies no longer cut it – and universities are forced to decide whether to offer significantly higher-cost plans or cancel coverage altogether.

The new rules affect a broad swath of American schools, especially the small ones.

At Bowie State University in Maryland, the cost of student health insurance policies went from roughly $100 a year to $1,800 a year.

The cancelled plan offered $5,000 worth of medical coverage to students for just $54 per semester. University administrators said an acceptable replacement under the Affordable Care Act would have cost $900 per semester, a 1,500 percent increase.

Students who need individual coverage are likely to find a better deal for themselves on the Maryland Health Connection insurance exchange, University spokeswoman Cassandra Robinson said.

In the end, the school decided to drop the policy for all of its 5,500 enrollees. Students were notified of the dropped coverage on the school’s website.

“Bowie State University has suspended offering health insurance for domestic students for the 2013-2014 academic year,” according to the school’s official website. “Due to new requirements of the Affordable Care Act which will go into effect on January 1, 2014, the cost of insurance for domestic students will increase to approximately $1800 per year.”

The sticker shock didn’t sit well with some students who spoke out against the price hike.

“You’ve haven’t done anything Obama and I am disappointed in you,” one student said. Another told Campus Reform, “We don’t have that money. We can barely afford books.”

Well, gosh, that doesn’t sound like the perception the White House has of America’s young people.

In fact, one would think that being a young American is all about promiscuity and alcoholism, according to the Obamacare Ads put out by the Obama Administration.

The first ad shows a pretty young thing, all excited and showing off the birth control pills which she received through Obamacare. At her side is a swarthy looking young man, with his shirt out and sports jacket on, trying his best to look like a young John Stamos, with an anticipatory ear-to-ear grin on his face.

The other ad involves three male college students. two of them each have the leg of the third, and are holding him above a keg  while he balances himself with both hands while hollding a hose coming from the keg in his mouth.

Talk about aiming to the lowest common denominator in an advertising campaign…

Evidently, the only contact the White House has with college age and young adult Americans, has come from hanging out with the OWSers and/or watching the Jerry Springer Program.

Anyway, it certainly appears that they overestimated Obamacare’s popularity with that demographic and underestimated young Americans’ intelligence.

Or, perhaps, like the rest of us, these yutes simply don’t like being lied to.
