Stephen A. Smith Doesn’t Want President Trump at the NBA Finals …Too Bad

I hope that you are all having a great Saturday. By now, I am sure you have heard that the NBA is having its Finals and the San Antonio Spurs and New York Knicks are the last two teams standing.

What you may not know, is that President Donald J Trump is thinking about attending Game #3 at Madison Square Garden.

To most Americans, that would seem perfectly fine because, after all, President Trump is from New York City. However, Stephen A Smith, ESPN host and amateur political pundit, does not want the President to attend the game.

Smith says that his wish is not political in nature. It’s because of the chaos that the President would bring to the game.

Who in the name of Willis Reed ( look him up, kids) does Stephen A Smith think he is?

The President of the United States of America has the right to attend any sporting event he chooses.

In fact, President Trump has a history of doing just that and being well accepted by the crowds, even sitting with some of the cadets at the Army- Navy Football Game.

It is extremely presumptuous and extraordinarily arrogant of Stephen A Smith to believe that he has any sort of weight or leverage in getting his wish that Trump not attend that game.

Of course, Stephen A Smith, being his own best promoter, said this for the publicity.

However, don’t let him fool you.

He also said this for the political aspect of it.

And, that is what makes him just another pundit who is, to quote William Shakespeare, “full of sound and fury, signifying nothing”.

Until He Comes,
