Erasing History: Biden Changes Fort Bragg to “Fort Liberty”

“Fort Bragg shed its Confederate namesake Friday to become Fort Liberty in a ceremony some veterans said was a small but important step in making the U.S. Army more welcoming to current and prospective Black service members.

The change was part of a broad Department of Defense initiative, motivated by the 2020 George Floyd protests, to rename military installations that had been named after confederate soldiers.

The Black Lives Matter demonstrations that erupted nationwide after Floyd’s killing by a white police officer, coupled with ongoing efforts to remove Confederate monuments, turned the spotlight on the Army installations. Besides the obvious fact that the Far Left Democrats are erasing history on purpose, like all Marxist Totalitarian Governments have before them, in order to keep the masses uneducated and pliant, why are the Far Left Democrats really trying to erase Southern History?

Well…

In every single presidential election, since I first voted for Future President Ronald Reagan in November of 1980, the voters of the South have proven to be the linchpin upon which all presidential candidates’ victory depended upon.

If you were able, as a Democrat or a Republican, to get the voters of the South to cast their ballots for you, you became the President of the United States of America.

The South, to this day, remains essential to winning the White House.

The Liberals in the Democratic Party and the Republican Party, alike, or the Vichy Republicans, as I call them, are all too aware of this political fact.

However, those who believe that the South, in the Year of Our Lord 2023, is still backwards, or somehow inferior to their point of view, or political ideology, have jumped at the effort to negate a period of our history in which American blood on both sides of the Mason-Dixon line was shed in combat.

Why have these Far Left Democrat Politicians tried so hard to shift the focus of the nation away from the incompetency and mental deterioration of President Joe Biden and created a cancel culture reminiscent of the Russian Revolution and the history-destroying Middle Eastern Rampage of ISIS?

Simple: Political Expediency.

By marginalizing the South as a part of this effort, the Far Left Democrats, from Joe Biden and The Squad on down the line, are hoping to diminish and possibly negate the leverage that Southern States have in molding the Political Landscape of America.

Even after the last 6 years of the Democrats’ continuous attacks on President Trump, “MAGA” Conservatives” and the American way of life, America is still a Center-Right Nation.

Through their efforts in the National Education System to indoctrinate American Children into despising what America has always stood for, these politicians and their minions hoped to swing the Political Pendulum toward their side of the Political Aisle and to create a “Democratic Socialist” (i.e., Marxist) country.

They know that, if somehow, they can place the Southern States in a “bad light” and at a Political Disadvantage, that perhaps our voice in the political affairs of this nation, will not carry as much weight.

Plus, between you and me and the water cooler, Liberals in the Northern and Western States remain ticked off that both American and International Businesses are still relocating to the South, where the climate is friendlier, the Unions have not made the cost of doing business unprofitable, and, where Old-Fashioned American Work Ethic still exists.

Just sayin’.

These Southern Americans, whom the virtue-signaling Far Left and Vichy Republicans seek to dishonor and hide away, like Bill Clinton’s little black book, were flawed men, as well.

However, the Federal Government recognizes them as United States of America Veterans.

”Every soldier’s grave made during our unfortunate civil war [sic] is a tribute to American valor… And the time has now come… when in the spirit of fraternity we should share in the care of the graves of the Confederate soldiers… and if it needed further justification it is found in the gallant loyalty to the Union and the flag so conspicuously shown in the year just passed by the sons and grandsons of those heroic dead.” …President William McKinley, 14 December 1898.

The names of the Military Bases, like the statues which the Far Left have already removed from sight, MUST be left alone, to serve as a reminder of mistakes made, by NORTH and South, and as a reminder that, like a family often does, we fight among ourselves, but our true strength lies in forgiveness, compassion. courage, and integrity.

Four character traits that both the Far Left Democratic Party and Modern American Liberals in general seemingly have forsaken in their quest to restore power to their minority political ideology.

Character traits which they had better suck up and find soon because those Americans whom they have been treating like “useful idiots” and an automatic voting base are growing increasingly tired of being fed empty promises by a party propping up a demented old fool.

HBO Plans to Produce “Modern-Day Southern Slavery Drama” as Libs Continue to Try to Divide America

If you do not live on the East or “Left” Coast or in the “Beltway”, you really do not matter to Modern American Liberals.

According to the Associated Press…

A social media campaign to derail HBO’s planned modern-day Southern slavery drama quickly caught fire, prompting the cable channel to ask detractors to withhold judgment until they see “Confederate.” The campaign, with “OscarsSoWhite” activist April Reign among its organizers, asked people to tweet to HBO with the hashtag “NoConfederate” during Sunday’s broadcast of the channel’s “Game of Thrones.”

“Game of Thrones” is produced by David Benioff and D.B. Weiss, who are developing the recently announced “Confederate.” The pair, who are white, will work on “Confederate” with husband-and-wife Malcolm Spellman (“Empire”) and Nichelle Tramble Spellman (“The Good Wife”), who are black writer-producers.

Reign tweeted Sunday night that #NoConfederate rapidly shot to the top ranks of Twitter both nationally and internationally. It didn’t take long for HBO to respond to the campaign that amplified earlier criticism of the project.

“We have great respect for the dialogue and concern being expressed around ‘Confederate,’” the channel said in a statement. “We have faith that Nichelle, Dan, David and Malcolm will approach the subject with care and sensitivity. The project is currently in its infancy so we hope that people will reserve judgment until there is something to see.”

In announcing “Confederate” earlier this month, HBO described the story as following “a broad swath of characters on both sides of the Mason-Dixon Demilitarized Zone,” including freedom fighters, politicians, abolitionists and executives of a slave-holding conglomerate.

A backlash quickly followed, including from writer Roxane Gay (“Hunger,” ″Difficult Women”). Her July 25 opinion piece for The New York Times carried the headline, “I Don’t Want to Watch Slavery Fan Fiction.”

“It is curious that time and again, when people create alternate histories, they are largely replicating a history we already know, and intimately,” Gay wrote. “They are replicating histories where whiteness thrives and people of color remain oppressed.”

Last week, HBO programming president Casey Bloys acknowledged missteps in how it announced the drama series but defended its value.

“File this under, ‘hindsight is 20-20,‘” Bloys told a TV critics’ group. HBO was misguided in putting out a press release instead of having the producers explain the idea more fully in media interviews, he said.

The show won’t be “whips and plantations,” Bloys said, but will draw a line between America today and its past as it tries to advance the discussion on race relations. The more producers can weigh in about why the project is important, the more it will make sense, Bloys said.

But an interview the show’s creative team gave after the initial outcry failed to stem the #NoConfederate campaign. In comments to the website Vulture, Nichelle Tramble Spellman said that the drama isn’t going to be “the big ‘Gone With the Wind’ mansion.”

“Confederate” isn’t expected to start production for at least a year, Bloys has said, noting that Benioff and Weiss are working on the final season of “Game of Thrones,” with the premiere date yet to be settled. The fantasy drama’s seventh and penultimate season just began showing.

A “modern-day Southern slavery drama”?

WTH?

I would literally be doubled up in laughter, if I weren’t so disgusted.

I have Cable Television in my home. However, there is a reason that I do not have HBO on my Channel Line-up.

What started out as a great movie channel morphed over the years into just another source of Liberal Propaganda, no better than CNN or MSNBC.

The Liberal train of thought continues to boggle my mind.

Their blatant hatred for my beloved Dixie could not be more obvious if they had a airplane fly by in their standard movie opening overhead of a city skyline, flying a banner behind it which read

“The South Sucks!”

I am sure that the idea of bringing slavery back to the Modern South seems like a whiz-bang idea to the Liberals who want to produce the program.

However, my question is: are they not aware that there was slavery in  the North, as well?

Or, does their own bigotry and Liberal condescension toward the region where I live blind them to actual historical facts?

I suppose that it does.

I imagine that they are a part of the ISIS-inspired crowd of Modern Liberals who cheer when a Confederate Statue is removed from a public place, censoring history as the Muslim Barbarians which they seem to idealize have while the desecrate and remove historical sites as they cut a swath of destruction across the Middle East.

The same Liberals, who are attempting to wipe out a part of our nation’s history, in an attempt to assuage “hurt feelings”, now wish to stir things up for their own fun and profit by producing a “modern-day Southern slavery drama”.

Not to be harsh or inappropriate, but, which is doing more harm to black Americans…these symbols of a part of our nation’s history…or the “assistance” which has been given to them by Modern American Liberals when they are seated in the Halls of Power in Washington, D.C.?

For example, how many black children are being born out of wedlock?

Among non-Hispanic blacks, the figure is highest, at 72.2 percent; for American Indians/Alaska Natives, it’s 66.9 percent; 53.5 percent for Hispanics; 29.4 percent for non-Hispanic whites; and a mere 17.1 percent for Asians/Pacific Islanders.

These Americans, unlike the majority of us, are growing up without appropriate parental guidance, i.e., no one teaching them “the way in which they should go”.

The Great Society, created by a Democrat President and Congress, created a dependent class, which, instead of diminishing as it’s members joined the workforce, increased from generation to generation, relying on the federal government to provide their every need.

Uncle Sugar became Mother, Father, Preacher, and Doctor to generations of Americans. This “plantation mentality” continues to this day.

Instead of moving forward, by exercising the self-reliance that Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. preached so well, there have been generations raised to be content on being “taken care of” by Uncle Sugar, as if being held down by their own poor, miserable circumstance, was a good thing.

Since August of 2014, under the previous Presidential Administration, the results of LBJ’s “Great Society” have been the lead story in seemingly, every television newscast, on every newspaper front page, and on every internet news/political website, as the results of a president espousing Racial Division and Class Warfare continue, even after the departure of that president, to “reap the whirlwind”.

Meanwhile, these same condescending Liberals, who created the failed “Great Society”, insist that everything will be better if we just rewrite history, all of us Southerners “sit down and shut up”, while they remove the Confederate Battle Flag, and all statues and references to the Confederacy, from public view, while continuously disparaging the South, in an attempt to diminish our Electoral Power, so that they may someday regain control of the Presidency and Congress.

Which, in turn, will allow them to continue to rail against individual achievements by great Americans like Dr. Ben Carson and all those who dare to step off of the Liberal Democrat “Plantation” and achieve.

What a bunch of condescending hypocrites Modern American Liberals are.

Charleston’ s Aftermath: The Purposeful Marginalization of the South

Yesterday, while I was about and about, performing the duties of my real job, the Godfather of Conservative Talk Radio, Rush Limbaugh, made the following observation…

This effort to have the battle flag of northern Virginia removed is really an attempt to segregate and isolate the entire South and to sort of Alinsky it. You know, the Rules for Radicals, you seek the target, you isolate it, you attack it, humiliate it. This flag represents what the left believes is the last remaining Republican electoral stronghold in terms of presidential politics, and that would be the South. So this is an effort going far beyond the Confederate flag or the battle flag of the army of northern Virginia.

This flag represents to the left a symbol of everything that’s wrong with not just South Carolina, but North Carolina, Mississippi, Georgia, Alabama, you name it. And that’s what the objective here really is. And that’s why when Republicans make these efforts to appease, to please, and even if they think they’re doing the right thing, it never is enough, and it’s never genuine, and it’s never accepted, or very rarely is it accepted. Very rarely do the Republicans seeking to gain political points with their opponents or their enemies actually pull that off by acceding to their demands.

So just keep a sharp eye on this because you’ll see, even after the flag comes down, it’s not gonna be the end of this. After the flag comes down, after the flag is removed, you’re gonna continue to hear what it stands for, what it stood for, how rotten it is and how even though it’s gone, you can bet they will report that Southerners all across this country in heart and in mind and even geographically will be displaying the flag in their homes and on their cars with bumper stickers and so forth. Just keep a sharp eye. ‘Cause I’m telling you the flag is a symbol and it’s a symbol to the left, and it represents a far more wide reaching objective than just getting the flag removed from public view.

You got Walmart saying: We’re not gonna sell any flag, Confederate flag merchandise anymore. We’re not gonna sell anything that offends anybody. Okay. Well, that’s an open invitation to the left to go out and claim that anything that they don’t like in Walmart that represents Republicanism, conservatism could offend them. You wait, folks. I mean, we’ve been trending in this direction for years now. This is really nothing new.

The point that Rush made yesterday is, as usual, spot on.

Through their efforts to make an inanimate object responsible for the death of the Pastor and 8 members of Emanuel AME Church, these politicians and their minions hope to swing the Political Pendulum toward their side of the Political Aisle.

They know that, if somehow, they can place the Southern States in a “bad light” and at a Political Disadvantage, that perhaps our voice in the political affairs of this nation, will not carry as much weight.

Plus, between you and me and the water cooler, Liberals in the Northern and Western States remain ticked off that both American and International Businesses are still relocating to the South, where the climate is friendlier, the Unions have not made the cost of doing business unprofitable, and, where Old-Fashioned American Work Ethic still exists.

But, I digress.

The Alinsky-approved Tactics, currently being employed by Barack Obama and his Liberal minions on both sides of the aisle, are giving them, at best, a temporary victory.

This effort against the Stars and Bars, while incendiary and pyrrhic in nature, has the lasting effect of a bottle rocket.

The thing about attempting to rewrite and ignore history, is the fact that Liberals have no power over it. 

It has already happened.

And, they are powerless to change it.

Black American Economist and Conservative Political Pundit, Dr. Walter E. Williams, wrote the following piercing words, in an article posted on January 26, 2000…

The flap over the Confederate flag is not quite as simple as the nation’s race experts make it. They want us to believe the flag is a symbol of racism. Yes, racists have used the Confederate flag, but racists have also used the Bible and the U.S. flag. Should we get rid of the Bible and lower the U.S. flag? Black civil rights activists and their white liberal supporters who’re attacking the Confederate flag have committed a deep, despicable dishonor to our patriotic black ancestors who marched, fought and died to protect their homeland from what they saw as Northern aggression.

They don’t deserve the dishonor.

Facts are stubborn things.
