“What 2nd Amendment?” AG Garland Announces National Extreme Risk Protection Order Resource Center (Red Flag Gun Control Center)

“The launch of the National Extreme Risk Protection Order Resource Center will provide our partners across the country with valuable resources to keep firearms out of the hands of individuals who pose a threat to themselves or others,” Garland said. “The establishment of the Center is the latest example of the Justice Department’s work to use every tool provided by the landmark Bipartisan Safer Communities Act to protect communities from gun violence.”

Through the resource center and its website, the Justice Department noted that “states, local governments, law enforcement, prosecutors, attorneys, judges, clinicians, victim service providers, and behavioral health and other social service providers will have direct access to critical information that will enhance their ability to reduce firearm homicides and suicides.”

“The website will be maintained and updated to include newly developed resources for the field created through the Center, in partnership with [the Bureau of Justice Assistance],” the DOJ said. “The website also provides a platform for the Center to highlight emerging and promising practices in successful ERPO implementation and connect states and localities to innovative strategies to reduce gun violence and save lives.”

The creation of the resource operation quickly drew the ire of some House Republicans who blasted the effort as a “Federal Red Flag center” that the DOJ will use to “violate” the Second Amendment rights of Americans.

“What the hell is this evil? A Federal Red Flag center; We did not authorize this. Announced, of course, just hours after the omnibus passes,” Kentucky GOP Rep. Thomas Massie wrote in a post to X. (Courtesy FoxNews.com)

Well, Congressman Massie…I’ll tell you exactly what it is.

It’s another step in the process of “radically changing” our Constitutional Republic into a totalitarian Communist Nation.

Look at what’s happening around us. The Far Left Democrats are trying to eliminate the major threat to their political power, former President Donald J Trump, through Political Lawfare.

They’ve taken over our Department of Education and programmed our children and grandchildren for decades now.

The Democrats are now trying to force electrical vehicles on us that they will be able to shut off from a central location.

They even have a system to where they can provide instant warnings on our cell phones. What makes you think that they can not shut them off, too?

“Red Flag Centers” will be just another step in turning us into the new Proletariat.

Those like installed President Joe Biden, nitwit Vice-President Kamala Harris, and the Democrats who are constantly calling for gun control seek to punish and control the entire nation by using the actions of some to take away our 2nd Amendment rights.

If those same people would stop for a moment and consider that guns are inanimate objects which cannot fire themselves and then focus on the true cause of the increase in violence in our nation, then perhaps we could actually start making some headway and provide the care and treatment to the individuals who need it in time to avoid the horrific event of a mass murder, such as happened last year in that Private Christian Elementary School in Nashville, Tennessee.

I am not saying that this will get rid of all of the mentally ill people in our country who wish to murder others, but it seems to me that back in the day when parents actually raised their children, along with the rest of the neighborhood who raised us, we did not see this preponderance of violent acts which we are seeing today.

Also, one last thing on this Palm Sunday.

Getting back to raising our children and grandchildren in the “Faith of Our Fathers”, wouldn’t be such a bad idea, either.

Trump Tells NRA Convention “I Will Be Your Loyal Friend and Fearless Champion Once Again”

“Taking a bow as the “most pro-gun pro-Second Amendment president,” former President Donald Trump vowed to protect Americans’ gun rights “forever.”

“As a candidate in 2016, I promised you that I would save your Second Amendment from absolute obliteration — that’s where it was going — and as your president, that’s exactly what I did,” Trump told the annual National Rifle Association convention in a speech that aired live on Newsmax. “We saved our Second Amendment, and we’re going to save it for a long time to come.

“It’s under siege, but we’re gonna save it for a long time to come — forever as far as I’m concerned, forever.

“So I was proud to be the most pro-gun pro-Second Amendment president you’ve ever had in the White House. I think that’s been acknowledged. And, with your support in 2024, I will be your loyal friend and fearless champion once again as the 47th president of the United States.”

Trump made the keynote address in Indianapolis, Indiana, in the tone of a 2024 campaign speech.

“No one will lay a finger on your firearms — just as took place for four years when I was your president,” Trump said. “I will uphold those glorious words: Shall not be infringed.

“You know those words.”

Trump vowed to unwind President Joe Biden’s “war” on the Second Amendment, along with open borders, foreign policy failures, massive crime waves, and justice being weaponized against the political opposition.

“We’re going to have a big, big, successful election coming up; we’re going to take back that beautiful, gorgeous White House,” Trump continued. “On day 1 of my new term, I will stop Joe Biden’s war on lawful gun owners.

“It’s a war. What they’re doing is crazy. So many things.”

…Trump was adamant it is criminals who do not follow laws who are to blame for violence.

“But let’s be very clear: The issue is not too many guns; the issue is too many thugs, hoodlums, and savage criminals on our street,” Trump said. “That’s really what the issue is.” (Courtesy Newsmax.com)

The Democrats’ never-ending quest for “Gun Control”, if successful, would only succeed in controlling law-abiding American Citizens, instead of punishing those who operate outside of our laws.

The leader of the bloody Russian Revolution, Vladimir Lenin, once wrote that

“One man with a gun can control 100 without one.”

If the Democrats had their way, we would live in a country under the oppression of restrictive gun laws, which would be modeled after those in Europe. And, as past events have plainly shown, those restrictive gun laws have allowed Islamic Terrorists and other murderous nut jobs to kill innocent people unchallenged, because none of those innocent people were allowed to carry a weapon with which to defend themselves.

In fact, in some cases, even the police officers, who first arrived on the scene, were unarmed, and had to call for additional forces, thus giving the perpetrators more time to murder and maim the innocent.

One of our Founding Fathers, Dr. Benjamin Franklin, once wrote,

“Any society that would give up a little liberty to gain a little security will deserve neither and lose both.”

Like Dr. Franklin and the rest of those who have fought for our freedom, average Americans realize what Democrats do not.

The problem in stopping mass murders and other shooting deaths from happening is not that there are not enough gun laws. The problem is that the gun laws on the books are not properly enforced.

The dissolution of the Family Unit, the revolving door state of our Municipal Justice Systems, and the lack of recognition and treatment of the mentally ill and wannabe Terrorists and Marxist Anarchists, have a lot to do with the rise of these horrible massacres in America and the horrible violence which plagues cities like Chicago and Memphis.

What Liberals have never understood, in their continuous quest to take away the Second Amendment rights of average Americans, is that we will never surrender our Constitutional Right to defend ourselves and our families from enemies foreign and domestic.

What part of the words quote “shall not be infringed” do you Liberals not understand?

Passing more restrictive gun laws is not the answer.

Criminals are called “outlaws” for a reason.

They will find a way to get guns. They do now.

I agree with what President Trump said when Candidate Biden brought up Gun Control: “Hit the animals hard”.

This is a people problem. Not a gun problem.

After all, have you ever seen a gun pull its own trigger?

Biden Calls for “Infringing” Americans’ 2nd Amendment Rights…Again

“President Biden said on Thursday that he would push Congress to enact new gun control laws before Republicans took control of the U.S. House of Representatives in January.

Biden told reporters during a press event in Nantucket, Massachusetts that the recent shooting at an LGBT nightclub in Colorado had reinforced the need to pass an assault weapons ban.

“The idea we still allow semi-automatic weapons to be purchased is sick,” said Biden. “It has no socially redeeming value… Not a single solitary rationale for it except profit for the gun manufacturers.”

Semi-automatic guns, including handguns and rifles, fire one bullet for each pull of the trigger.

Biden said he would push federal lawmakers to enact a new assault weapons ban before January when the next Congress took office and Republicans gained control of the House.” (Courtesy FoxNews.com)

Democrats like Biden believe that the Constitution is a “fluid” document, subject to change to fit the political ideology of those who happens to be the majority party, presiding over the Executive and Legislative Branches of our Federal Government at the time.

The Constitution was written by brilliant men who foresaw the possibility of a minority of tyrants attempting to take over and change our Constitutional Republic into a tyrannical form of government, such as they left behind in Europe.

And, that, boys and girls, after hearing President Joe Biden once again threaten the Second Amendment, appears to be exactly what the Democrats want for the future of our Sovereign Nation and our children and grandchildren.

As Democratically-controlled cities like Memphis, Chicago, and New York have found out the hard way, strict gun control laws do not work.

Outlaws will find a way to get guns. That is why they are called “outlaws”.

And the only thing that will stop a bad guy with a gun is a good guy with a gun.

Guns can not pull their own trigger.

What happened in Colorado was horribly tragic. Thank God that a Veteran (who happened to be straight) was there to stop the psychopath from taking even more lives.

Unfortunately, we live in a different culture than a lot of us grew up in.

Something definitely needs to be done.

However, by constantly proclaiming that “no amendment is absolute”, Biden has warned us that changing the Second Amendment of OUR Constitution, a part of OUR Bill of Rights, is a very real possibility, if he can get the “Fools on the Hill”, otherwise known as Congress, to go along with it.

And, if that happens, what is to stop them from “radically changing” the First Amendment, as well?

And, God forbid, if all of that happens, our Constitutional Republic will no longer exist and America will be just another failed Democratic Socialist Third World Barrio, instead of “The Shining City Up On A Hill”.

It is time to “put on the whole Armor of God”, to pray, and to call our Representatives in Washington and tell them that We The People will not stand for this…and if they want to keep their jobs they had better start fighting against this “Russian Revolution II” and the unwanted revision of OUR Constitution.

Or, they are going to be out of a job.

It is way past time to stop coddling crtiminals and to start actually punishing them.

Biden Attacks Second Amendment During Gun Control Speech to the Nation

Last night, the dementia-riddled old fool in the White House, Joe Biden, gave a nonsensical speech in which he declared that the Second Amendment is not absolute.

Quite frankly, boys and girls, Biden is so full of crap that his eyes are brown.

Here is how our Founding Fathers would have responded to the Dummy From Delaware, Joe Biden…

Schumer Kills Senate Bill That Would Make Our Schools Safer

The day after 19 innocent schoolchildren and 2 teachers were killed by a psychopath, Senator Chuck Schumer killed a bill which would have potentially provided stronger security in our nation’s schools.

The bill, named after Parkland, Florida, shooting victims Luke Hoyer and Alex Schachter, would require the Department of Homeland Security to establish a “Federal Clearinghouse on School Safety Best Practices” for use by state and local educational and law-enforcement agencies, institutions of higher education, health professionals, and the public. And it would require DHS to “collect clearinghouse data analytics, user feedback on the implementation of best practices and recommendations identified by the clearinghouse, and any evaluations conducted on these best practices and recommendations.” (Courtesy FoxNews.com)

Why did Schumer kill that bill?

He killed it because the Democrat Elite care more about taking away law-abiding Americans’ guns than they do about the safety of our children.

As Democrats Continue to Try to Defund The Police, Biden Insists That “Crime Prevention” Equals Gun Control…Totalitarianism, Anyone?

FoxNews.com reports that

President Biden in remarks Wednesday said his crime prevention strategy would focus on strengthening background checks, banning assault weapons and high-capacity magazines, and boosting community policing.

Biden met with state and local leaders and law enforcement officials ahead of his remarks to talk crime prevention strategy, amid a surge in violence in cities across the U.S.

Both Biden and Attorney General Merrick Garland, who spoke before him, pointed to a historic rise in crime in the summertime, and said that rise “may be more pronounced” as the nation comes out of the COVID-19 pandemic.

The White House has insisted curbing gun violence is key to tamping down a “staggering” surge of crime across the U.S.

“Talk to most responsible gun owners they’ll tell you there’s no possible justification for having 100 rounds in a magazine,” Biden said.

Biden also took aim at an argument used by Second Amendment advocates, that the right to self-defense needed to protect against potential government tyranny.

“Those who say the blood of Patriots, you know, and all the stuff about how we’re gonna have to move against the government,” Biden said. “If you think you need to have weapons to take on the government, you need F-15s and maybe some nuclear weapons.”

“We’re not changing the Constitution. We’re enforcing it,” the president continued.
Biden touted “zero tolerance” for gun dealers who willfully violate the law, and claimed that 90% of illegal guns found at crime scenes were traced back to 5% of gun dealers.

The “zero-tolerance” policy targets federally licensed firearms dealers who “willfully” transfer a weapon to someone prohibited from owning one or ignore a tracing request from the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF). The ATF would seek to revoke the dealer’s license after the first offense, a senior White House official said.

“If you willfully sell a gun to someone who’s prohibited from possessing it, if you willfully fail to run a background check, if you willfully falsify a record … my message to you is this: We’ll find you and we will seek your license to sell guns,” Biden said.

The National Rifle Association said the Biden initiative was an attempt to distract from the true causes of a rise in crime.

“This is a political red herring aimed at hiding the real and abysmal failures of the Biden administration,” NRS spokeswoman Amy Hunter told Fox News. “Crime rates are high because of the efforts to defund the police and a failure to prosecute career criminals. The simple fact is strict enforcement of existing laws – including gun laws – coupled with support of law enforcement and prosecutors to do their jobs would result in a dramatic decrease in crime. But, the president would rather play politics than make Americans safer.”

Biden also boasted of “historic funding for crime prevention” in the $350 billion for state and local governments, from the $1.9 trillion COVID-19 relief package, that can be used by cities to hire law enforcement officers, pay overtime, prosecute gun traffickers and invest in technology to make law enforcement more efficient. Officials said the Biden administration hoped cities would choose to use the money for alternatives to policing, too, and to invest in community policing models.

The administration has also taken aim at “ghost guns” and modified firearms, which are homemade firearms without serial numbers that can be used to trace them, making it difficult for law enforcement to determine where, by whom, or when they were manufactured and to whom they were sold.

The Justice Department’s ATF last month sought to update the legal definition of “firearm” in an effort to crack down on ghost guns.

Biden also pushed hiring programs to keep young people busy and off the streets during the summer months, as they’re often both the target and perpetrators of such violence. Biden said such programs encouraged youth to “pick up a paycheck instead of a pistol.”

The president said the DOJ has created five new “strike forces” to crack down on illegal gun trafficking cartels and called on the Senate to reauthorize the Violence Against Women Act, thereby closing the “boyfriend loophole” to keep guns out of the hands of domestic abusers.

During the Democratic Primary Candidates Debates last year, Candidate Joe Biden said,

“150 million people have been killed since 2007 when Bernie (Sanders) voted to exempt the gun manufacturers from liability, more than all the wars, including Vietnam from that point on.”

The heavily inflated figure misrepresented gun deaths in America since 2007. From 2007 to 2017, the number of firearm deaths in the U.S. was 373,663. This number includes both violent firearm deaths and unintentional or accidental deaths, according to the Center for American Progress, an organization that promotes progressive values.

More in line with Biden’s figures, an analysis of FBI statistics by the Center found that from 2008 through 2017, more than 1.5 million aggravated assaults involved a firearm, with rates varying significantly across the states.

“If I’m elected, NRA [the National Rifle Association], I’m coming for you and gun manufacturers, I’m gonna take you on and I’m gonna beat you,” Biden said.

For years, Democrat politicians like the Dummy From Delaware have been on a crusade to pass stricter and stricter gun control laws, literally foaming at the mouth to take the right to own guns, guaranteed by the Second Amendment to the United States Constitution, away from average law-abiding Americans.

I have always wondered why they have never attempted to get tough with those who break our laws by committing gun violence, instead of trying to take away our Constitutional Right to be able to defend ourselves.

Was it just naiveté on the part of Democrats …or something else?

And then…the Democrats built a wall around our nation’s Capitol.

And, I wondered no more.

Today’s Democrat Elite have allowed their own arrogance to blossom into totalitarianism.

Their zeal to radically change our Constitutional Republic into just another Democratic Socialist failure of a country, like those in Europe and South America, has led them to no longer wish to hear any other political opinions except their own.

The Democrats, led by the Biden-Harris Administration, through their push for continued lockdowns, expanded “Unemployment” payments, flooding our Southern Border with illegal aliens, and now, attempting to abridge our Second Amendment Rights, are employing a political strategy designed to turn America into a country whose people have restricted liberty given to them by an all-powerful Central Government, instead of by “Our Creator”.

Sound familiar?

Sure, Sleepy Joe told us yesterday that he and his fellow totalitarians are “not changing the Constitution”…”they’re enforcing it”, meaning that their going after our guns is not an abridgement of our Second Amendment Rights.

And, Germany’s National Socialist Party told the European Jews that they were simply going to be “relocated”.

The name of the game, boys and girls, is ‘CONTROL”.

Give the Democrats an inch and they will take a mile.

Those who have come before us did not give up their lives on the field of battle while preserving our liberty for us to willingly give it away to a demented doddering old fool who cannot even read a teleprompter correctly.

 Those whom we have elected to represent us in Washington MUST fight for our American Freedoms.

Or, we need to boot them out and replace them with those who will.

Biden Proclaims “No Amendment is Absolute” as He Rolls Out Gun Control Measures Which He Says Do Not “Impinge” on the 2nd Amendment…Scared, Yet?

President Biden spoke in the Rose Garden of the White House with Vice President Kamala Harris and Attorney General Merrick B. Garland on Thursday.

FoxNews.com reports that

President Biden on Thursday, in rolling out a set of executive orders on gun control, said “no amendment is absolute,” while maintaining that “nothing” he is recommending “impinges” on the Second Amendment.

“Today we’re taking steps to confront not just the gun crisis, but what is actually a public health crisis,” Biden said from the White House Thursday.

“Nothing, nothing I am about to recommend in any way impinges on the Second Amendment,” the president said, calling arguments suggesting that those constitutional rights are at stake “phony.”

“No amendment, no amendment to the Constitution is absolute,” he said. “You can’t yell ‘fire’ in a crowded movie theater — recall a freedom of speech. From the very beginning, you couldn’t own any weapon you wanted to own. From the very beginning that the Second Amendment existed, certain people weren’t allowed to have weapons.”

He added: “So the idea is just bizarre, to suggest that some of the things we’re recommending are contrary to the Constitution.”

The president went on to call gun violence in the United States “an epidemic.”

“Let me say it again, gun violence in this country is an epidemic,” Biden said. “And it’s an international embarrassment.”

Biden announced a set of executive actions and legislative proposals on gun control Thursday.

Biden is asking that the Justice Department, within a month, propose a rule to stop “ghost guns,” which are “kits” people can buy legally then fully assemble to create a functioning firearm that does not have a serial number.

Biden is also asking the DOJ within 60 days to propose a rule on braces used for handguns, which make them more accurate; proposing action on “community violence intervention”; asking the DOJ to publish suggestions for “red flag” legislation; and having his administration issue a report on gun trafficking. 

Biden also formally announced David Chipman as the director of the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF). 

A senior administration official Wednesday said that Chipman will respect the Second Amendment while he enforces gun laws. 

The Biden administration is also expected to throw its weight behind gun control proposals in Congress.

Democrats like Biden believe that the Constitution is a “fluid” document, subject to change to fit the political ideology of those who happen to be the majority party, presiding over the Executive and Legislative Branches of our Federal Government at the time.

That is where they are wrong…and they know it…but, they do not care, as evidenced by the bullying and didactic tone which Biden took during his Royal Proclamation yesterday.

The Constitution was written by brilliant men who foresaw the possibility of a minority of tyrants attempting to take over and change our Constitutional Republic into a tyrannical form of government, such as they left behind in Europe.

And, that, boys and girls, after hearing President Joe Biden threaten the Second Amendment, appears to be exactly what the Democrats want for the future of our Sovereign Nation and our children and grandchildren.

By proclaiming, like a monarch, that “no amendment is absolute”, Biden has warned us that changing the Second Amendment of OUR Constitution, a part of OUR Bill of Rights, is a very real possibility, if he can get the “Fools on the Hill”, otherwise known as Congress, to go along with it.

And, if that happens, what is to stop them from “radically changing” the First Amendment, as well?

And, God forbid, if all of that happens, our Constitutional Republic will no longer exist and America will be just another failed Democratic Socialist Third World Barrio, instead of “The Shining City Up On A Hill”.

It is time to “put on the whole Armor of God”, to pray, and to call our Representatives in Washington and tell them that We The People will not stand for this…and if they want to keep their jobs they had better start fighting against this “Russian Revolution II” and the unwanted revision of OUR Constitution.

Or they are going to be out of a job.

Biden to Announce Gun Control Executive Orders and Legislation Today…What 2nd Amendment?

FoxNews.com reports that

President Biden will announce gun control measures on Thursday that an administration official described as an initial set of actions aimed at addressing all forms of gun violence.

The president will detail several initiatives to be achieved through a mix of executive and legislative action, the official told reporters.

Biden will call on the Department of Justice to issue proposed rules to stop the proliferation of so-called “ghost guns” within 30 days. Ghost guns refer to kits that allow the recipient to assemble the firearm using provided parts. These guns do not have commercial serial numbers and are difficult to track.

The Justice Department will be given 60 days to issue a separate rule on stabilizing braces, which can turn a pistol into a more accurate weapon that fires like a rifle. Sixty days will also be provided for the DOJ to develop model “red flag” legislation that would allow friends and family members to identify an individual as a potential danger, thereby temporarily preventing the person from accessing a firearm.

The president will also highlight the steps his administration is taking to invest in community violence interventions and call on the DOJ to issue a firearms trafficking report.

The administration official said while Biden will call on Congress to act – including on closing loopholes in the background check system – he will not wait.

“Gun violence takes lives and leaves a lasting legacy of trauma in communities every single day in this country, even when it is not on the nightly news,” the White House said in a statement.

The administration official told reporters on Wednesday that Biden is concerned about all forms of gun violence, not only mass shootings but also domestic violence and forms of community violence that disproportionately affect Black and Brown communities.

Biden’s actions follow three recent mass shootings, and the administration official suggested there could be additional actions in the weeks and months to come.

Chipman, who is a gun owner himself, has said he backs regulations that save lives but do not take firearms away from law-abiding citizens.

The administration official confirmed on Wednesday night that Chipman was selected to enforce gun laws while also respecting Second Amendment rights.

ATF is a law enforcement agency within the Department of Justice that strives to safeguard the public from criminal organizations and activity, including the illegal use and trafficking of firearms.

During the Democratic Primary Candidates Debates last year, Candidate Joe Biden said,

“150 million people have been killed since 2007 when Bernie (Sanders) voted to exempt the gun manufacturers from liability, more than all the wars, including Vietnam from that point on.”

The heavily inflated figure misrepresented gun deaths in America since 2007. From 2007 to 2017, the number of firearm deaths in the U.S. was 373,663. This number includes both violent firearm deaths and unintentional or accidental deaths, according to the Center for American Progress, an organization that promotes progressive values.

More in line with Biden’s figures, an analysis of FBI statistics by the Center found that from 2008 through 2017, more than 1.5 million aggravated assaults involved a firearm, with rates varying significantly across the states.

“If I’m elected, NRA [the National Rifle Association], I’m coming for you and gun manufacturers, I’m gonna take you on and I’m gonna beat you,” Biden said.

For years, Democrat politicians like the Dummy From Delaware have been on a crusade to pass stricter and stricter gun control laws, literally foaming at the mouth to take the right to own guns, guaranteed by the Second Amendment to the United States Constitution, away from average law-abiding Americans.

I have always wondered why they have never attempted to get tough with those who break our laws by committing gun violence, instead of trying to take away our Constitutional Right to be able to defend ourselves.

Was it just naiveté on the part of Democrats …or something else?

And then…the Democrats built a wall around our nation’s Capitol.

And, I wondered no more.

Today’s Democrat Elite have allowed their own arrogance to blossom into totalitarianism.

Their zeal to radically change our Constitutional Republic into just another Democratic Socialist failure of a country, like those in Europe and South America, has led them to no longer wish to hear any other political opinions except their own.

The Democrats, led by the Biden-Harris Administration, through their push for continued lockdowns, expanded “Unemployment” payments, flooding our Southern Border with illegal aliens, and now, attempting to abridge our Second Amendment Rights, are employing a political strategy designed to turn America into a country whose people have restricted liberty given to them by an all-powerful Central Government, instead of by “Our Creator”.

Sound familiar?

Sure, Sleepy Joe is going to tell us today that this is not an abridgement of our Second Amendment Rights.

And, Germany’s National Socialist Party told the European Jews that they were simply going to be “relocated”.

The name of the game, boys and girls, is ‘CONTROL”.

Give the Democrats an inch and they will take a mile.

Those who have come before us did not give up their lives on the field of battle while preserving our liberty for us to willingly give it away to a demented doddering old fool issuing Executive Orders written by his Handlers.

 Those whom we have elected to represent us in Washington MUST fight for our American Freedoms.

Or, we need to boot them out and replace them with those who will.

Tensions Running High Ahead of Today’s Richmond Gun-Rights Rally as Average Americans Stand Up for Their 2nd Amendment Rights

Threats of violence, including claims of a militia storming Virginia’s Capitol and protesters weaponizing drones, have put federal and state authorities on high alert ahead of Monday’s gun-rights rally.

Thousands of people across the country are expected to show up as part of a demonstration demanding state Democrats drop a push for comprehensive gun control in the commonwealth.

The fear of violence has spread quickly and has led to heightened security, road closures and a ban on firearms in the Capitol and on its grounds. An event memorializing victims of gun violence, including one honoring the Rev. Martin Luther King Jr., was canceled due to safety concerns. The Federal Aviation Administration has banned drones within a 2-mile radius of the Capitol and nearby students at VCU and the Medical College of Virginia have been encouraged to stay indoors.

Virginia Citizens Defense League President Philip Van Cleave told Fox News it’s not the pro-gun groups that are stoking fear.

“It’s the Democrats,” he said. “It’s almost like they want something to happen. It sounds crazy, but they keep doing it and you have to start wondering if that’s intentional.”

Cleave said membership in his organization has tripled in the past six weeks and that 10,000 people have signed up for free email alerts. He attributes the spike in popularity to Gov. Ralph Northam and Democrats in the state legislature. Van Cleave believes they have “declared war on gun owners” and is counting on gun-rights advocates to show up Monday to have their collective voices heard.

Jaylynne Sensy, a mother of three from Chesterfield County, told Fox News she’s planning on coming to the rally and bringing her three children with her.

“They’re trying to take our guns and that’s not going to happen,” she said. “We won’t stand for it. This wouldn’t happen if Republicans were still running things.”

In November, Democrats flipped the state Senate and the House of Delegates, giving them control of both the governor’s office and the legislature for the first time in a generation.

Following his reelection, Northam vowed to push through new gun-control measures, saying it was a top priority for Virginia Democrats. In doing so, he angered gun-rights advocates who believe he is trying to take away their rights.

That suspicion was fueled further on Friday when President Trump warned in a tweet that Virginia Democrats were threatening Americans’ right to bear arms.

“Your 2nd Amendment is under very serious attack in the Great Commonwealth of Virginia. That’s what happens when you vote for Democrats, they will take your guns away. Republicans will win Virginia in 2020. Thank you Dems!” he tweeted.

Last week, four gun-control bills advanced in the General Assembly, setting the stage for a contentious showdown between gun-rights advocates and the Democratic lawmakers who campaigned on bringing changes to the state following last year’s mass shooting at a Virginia Beach municipal complex.

The bills that sailed through the Senate Judiciary Committee would require background checks on all firearms purchases, allow law enforcement to temporarily remove guns from people deemed to be a risk to themselves or others, limit handgun purchases to one a month and let localities decide on whether to ban weapons from certain events. To become law, the bills would have to pass the full Senate and the House of Delegates before going to the governor for his signature.

In a symbolic sign of defiance, more than 100 municipalities in Virginia have designated themselves as a safe haven or sanctuary for the Second Amendment. Lawmakers and authorities in those areas have said they will refuse to enforce new gun control laws the Virginia Legislature passes.

Using the fear of another Charlottesville, Gov. Northam has declared a state of emergency. He has also banned firearms and other weapons on the Capitol grounds.

All of the conversation and news reports about today’s rally made me remember last September when Former Democratic Primary Candidate Patrick “Beto” O’Rourke inadvertently admitted to Americans that Democrats were indeed going to come after our guns.

As has been demonstrated to us over the last few decades, Democrats are indeed going to continue to come after the guns of law-abiding American Citizens whether they take back the power of the Presidency in 2020 or not.

The Democrats have danced around the truth for years now, parsing words while speaking vaguely about “Gun Control”, while enticing school children to walk out of schools to help facilitate acceptance of a “benevolent” bunch of “Democratic Socialists” violating one of Americans’ Constitutional Rights.

As any American with any common sense whatsoever will tell you, the purpose of “Gun Control” IS control.

The Second Amendment of the U.S. Constitution, regarding the right of Americans to bear arms, was more than just a statement written in a document long ago by our Founding Fathers.

It was an admonition.

By now, gentle readers, I hope that you have taken stock of the fact that every single time that there is a mass murder in our Sovereign Nation, before the smoke even clears, Democrat Pundits, both professional and amateur, start drooling from their pursed lips in an ecstatic frenzy to be the first to call for “Gun Control”.

It is not, regardless of what the Dems say repeatedly when these tragedies happen, “for the children”.

Oh, no.

If Liberal Democrats were so concerned about America’s children, America would not be witnessing the yanking of children from their mothers’ wombs at the rate of 1,000,000 abortions every year.

And, it is an ultimate height of Liberal Hypocrisy that Gov. Northam and the Virginia Democrats are championing full-term abortion while claiming that they want to enact “Gun Control to “save lives”.

Make no mistake. Gun control is no more a Democratic Mantra spoken out of concern for the welfare of Americans than Nancy Pelosi is in full control of her mental faculties.

Vladimir Lenin, the Communist Leader of the Bolsheviks and Mensheviks during the Russian Revolution, stated that

“One man with a gun can control 100 men without one.”

Just as during the Russian Revolution, our modern-day Bolsheviks and Mensheviks, whom we call Millenials and Progressives, seem to blindly follow as one the notion that more control somehow means more freedom.

Little do those who are being “sponsored” to march for Gun Control realize that they are being led over a cliff like the herd of lemmings which my generation used to watch in school in those Walt Disney True Life Adventure Movies.

Just as Lenin played upon his followers’ emotions, so are the Democrats manipulating “useful idiots” for their own political purposes.

As Mr. Andrew Pollack, the father of Parkland shooting victim, Meadow Pollack has said, the Democrats do not care about

“…underlying causes for these shootings….They’re not addressing mental health…or arresting these people when they make threats…those are the real issues…”

And, God bless him, he is exactly right.

Guns cannot shoot themselves.

As one of our Founding Fathers, Dr. Benjamin Franklin, once wrote,

Any society that would give up a little liberty to gain a little security will deserve neither and lose both.

That is why it is so important for average Americans to continue to stand up for our Second Amendment Rights.

Our freedom, national and individual, is at stake.

As another Founding Father, Thomas Jefferson wrote

The laws that forbid the carrying of arms are laws of such a nature. They disarm only those who are neither inclined nor determined to commit crimes…. Such laws make things worse for the assaulted and better for the assailants; they serve rather to encourage than to prevent homicides, for an unarmed man may be attacked with greater confidence than an armed man.

Disgruntled City Employee Opens Fire in Virginia Beach Municipal Bldg Killing 12, Injuring Several…Dem Calls For Gun Control to Follow in 5…4…3…

A disgruntled city employee shot and killed 12 people and injured several more Friday when he opened fire inside a Virginia Beach municipal building before he was killed by police, Police Chief Jim A. Cervera said on Friday.

DeWayne Craddock, 40, was a longtime public utility worker who made multiple firearm purchases in recent weeks, officials told the Wall Street Journal. Police did not describe a possible motive for the attack.

The suspected shooter died in a gunfight with police officers. A police officer was also wounded, but was saved by his bullet-proof vest, Cervera said.

“I can tell you that it was a long gun battle between those four officers and that suspect,” Cervera said.

“This is the most devastating day in the history of Virginia Beach,” Mayor Bobby Dyer said. “The people involved are our friends, co-workers, neighbors and colleagues.”

Five people were taken to Virginia Beach General, and one was being flown to the Level I Trauma Center at Sentara Norfolk General Hospital, The Virginian-Pilot reported.

Authorities said via social media they believed there was just one shooter involved at the Virginia Beach Municipal Center, which houses over 400 workers. The White House said President Donald Trump had been briefed and was monitoring the situation.

As the dramatic event was unfolding, Virginia Gov. Ralph Northam urged his constituents to stay away from the area and abide law enforcement warnings in a tweet on Friday.

That they should be taken in this manner is the worst kind of tragedy,” the governor said during a Friday night news conference.

The shooting occurred shortly after 4 p.m. when the suspect entered Building 2 of the center on Friday afternoon. It houses departments such as planning, public works and public utilities, and employees were seen exiting the building in tears, with some in need of medical assistance, according to reports by Fox News affiliate WAVY News 10.

Officers found victims on all three of the building’s floors Cervera said. They found .45 Caliber handgun with large empty magazines and a sliencer.

“It’s a huge scene,” Cervera told reporters at a news conference. “Please understand the intensity of this.”

A rifle and pistol found by police at the scene are believed to have been used in the shooting, CNN reported. The weapons were believed to have been purchased legally.

Christina Pullen, a spokeswoman for the FBI in Norfolk, said the bureau was responding to assist Virginia Beach police, The Associated Press reported.

According to The Virginian-Pilot, City Council Member Barbara Henley had just pulled up to the City Hall building just after 4 p.m. to pick up the agenda when she heard sirens and saw police cars.

“I thought it was an accident,” Henley said, according to the paper.

Megan Banton, an administrative assistant in the public utilities office where the gunman worked, said she called 911 and barricaded the door.

“We tried to do everything we could to keep everybody safe,” she said. “We were all just terrified. It felt like it wasn’t real, like we were in a dream. You are just terrified because all you can hear is the gunshots.”

Public Works spokesman Drew Lankford told the paper he left the building to get a haircut. He received a call from his daughter, who also works in the building, that there was a shooter and that security instructed everyone to get underneath their desks.

“This day will not define Virginia Beach,” Councilman Aaron R. Rouse said during the news conference. “We will come together. We will show the strength of our city.”

Democratic Virginia Sen. Tim Kaine said he was devasted by news of the shooting.

“I’m devastated to learn of the tragic shooting tonight in Virginia Beach. My heart is with everyone who lost a loved one, and I’m praying for a swift recovery for all those who have been injured,” tweeted.

Sen. Mark Warner, also a Democrat, wrote: “Praying for all involved as we learn more.”

Several Democratic presidential candidates also tweeted their condolences over Friday’s events.

Make no mistake, yesterday was and is a senseless tragedy which was caused by a very sick and twisted individual.

However, once they have finished with their condolences, be prepared for Congressional Democrats to once again call for Gun Control.

The Democrats’ never-ending quest for “Gun Control”, if successful, would only succeed in controlling law-abiding American Citizens, instead of punishing those who operate outside of our laws, such as the Virginia Beach shooter, DeWayne Braddock,  Parkland High School Mass Murderer Nikolas Cruz, and the thugs who have turned Former President Obama’s “hometown” of Chicago and my hometown of Memphis into their own personal “Killing Fields”.

The leader of the bloody Russian Revolution, Vladimir Lenin, once wrote that

One man with a gun can control 100 without one.

If the Democrats had their way, we would live in a country under the oppression of restrictive gun laws, which would be modeled after those in Europe. And, as past events have plainly shown, those restrictive gun laws have allowed Islamic Terrorists and other murderous nut jobs to kill innocent people unchallenged, because none of those innocent people were allowed to carry a weapon with which to defend themselves.

In fact, in some cases, even the police officers, who first arrived on the scene, were unarmed, and had to call for additional forces, thus giving the perpetrators more time to murder and maim the innocent.

One of our Founding Fathers, Dr. Benjamin Franklin, once wrote,

Any society that would give up a little liberty to gain a little security will deserve neither and lose both.

Like Dr. Franklin and the rest of those who have fought for our freedom, average Americans realize what Democrats do not.

The problem in stopping mass murders like yesterday’s from happening is not that there are not enough gun laws. The problem is the gun laws on the books are not properly enforced.

The dissolution of the Family Unit, the revolving door state of our Municipal Justice Systems, and, as in the case of DeWayne Braddock and Nikolas Cruz, the lack of recognition and treatment of the mentally ill and wannabe Terrorists, have a lot to do with the rise of these horrible massacres in America and the horrible violence which plagues cities like Chicago and Memphis.

What Liberals have never understood, in their continuous quest to take away the Second Amendment rights of average Americans, is that we will never surrender our Constitutional Right to defend ourselves and our families from enemies foreign and domestic.

What part of the words quote “shall not be infringed” do you Liberals not understand?

Passing more restrictive gun laws is not the answer.

Criminals are called “outlaws” for a reason.

They will find a way to get guns. They do now.

This is a people problem. Not a gun problem.

After all, have you ever seen a gun pull its own trigger?
