The “Trump is Imploding” Strategy: Are Average Americans Buying It?

T-Unfit-600-LA-2Over the last few days, everyone from the President of the United States of America to  local news anchors have been pushing the supposed “fact” that Republican Presidential Candidate Donald J. Trump’s mercurial nature is causing his Presidential Campaign to “implode”.

Is it?

They wish.

The Godfather of Conservative Talk Radio, Rush Limbaugh, made a great point during his program, yesterday.

Top Republicans and political allies to Donald Trump are planning an ‘intervention’ with the candidate following a disastrous two days and political firestorm encircling … the nominee. Republican National Committee Chairman Reince Priebus, former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani and former Speaker [Newton] Gingrich are among those looking to talk with the businessman…” Now, didn’t we assume they were talking to him every day anyway?  I mean, I thought Newt was an advisor.  I thought Rudy was an advisor. I certainly thought that the chairman of the RNC was.  Anyway, they want to do an “intervention” ’cause it just isn’t working.  I mean, he’s imploding! He won’t listen to anybody! (This is what they’re saying.) He won’t listen to anybody! He’s taking everything way too personally. He’s asking people to feel sorry for him. You don’t go anywhere in politics doing that.  “The group hopes to enlist Trump’s children, who have proven pivotal in advising the businessman’s candidacy, in their effort to get Trump back on track after days of feuding” on Trump’s part.

…Bill Hemmer was talking to Karl Rove, and Rove is probably — like many people — thinking: “What in the world is going on?

“This guy owned it! Trump was on top of the world, and is now just imploding.  None of what Trump’s doing is making any sense.” People are coming up with theories.  Bill Hemmer asked Rove a question ’cause Karl was quoting from polling data and basically analyzing this from the standard, inside-the-Beltway, Washington establishment political handbook.  So Hemmer said (summarized), “Karl, what if we’re all wrong about this?

“What if the way you see everything that’s happening is not the way the people of this country see it?  There’s evidence… There’s abundant evidence…” This is Hemmer talking to Rove.  He wasn’t trying to entrap Rove.  It was a legitimate question.  He was saying, “Karl, what if the people in this country are so divorced now from standard, ordinary, everyday politics — they have such a distaste for it — that they have nothing in common with it anymore?

“What if that the way you’re looking at this is not at all the way a majority of people the country are looking at it, and certainly not the way Trump supporters see it?  What are the odds, Karl, that everything in politics has done a 180, has been turned totally upside down and all of this traditional understanding of politics has to be thrown out the window?”  I didn’t get all of Karl’s answer.  He, of course, rejected the premise.

It looks to standard, ordinary, everyday political operatives like Trump is imploding. It looks like, “Oh, my God, it’s a disaster! Oh, gee, this guy is just all over the map, doesn’t have a message anymore.”  But out there Trump is the vessel for the gazillions of people who are fed up with politics-as-usual and want no part of it.  And they don’t care.  None of this traditional analysis of Trump imploding. Trump blowing it. Trump going off message.  That was the premise behind Hemmer’s question, ’cause I don’t know how he feels about it.

Of course, he’s an objective journalist, but you wonder. You know that people in traditional politics are scratching their heads, and they have been.  And they are trying… There’s another story here in the Stack that another group of Republicans has launched a brand-new effort to find a way to get Trump off the presidential ballot, and there’s a story with a list of new Republicans publicly saying they’re voting for Hillary.  You go through the list; it’s not a bunch of big names.  Most of the names you wouldn’t know. But they are big in the bowels of the GOP.  There’s one elected official, and he’s a congressman from New York.  I think his last name is Hanna.  The name added to the list today is Meg Whitman, who was on McCain’s short list to be vice president.  She’s always been a RINO or a moderate Republican. She never has been a conservative.  It’s not at all shocking that Meg Whitman would vote for Hillary.

“Karl, what if the people in this country are so divorced now from standard, ordinary, everyday politics — they have such a distaste for it — that they have nothing in common with it anymore?”

Rush’s summary of the point that Hemmer was trying to make with his question to Professional Political Pundit Karl Rove, boys and girls, is the salient point of today’s post.

The Professional Politicians in Washington dismissed the opinion of us “commoners” a long time ago.

That was the reason for the birth of the Tea Party Movement.

The corruption, “political incest”, and purposeful obtuseness as regards the traditional faith and values of average Americans, is what lead to Trump becoming the Republican Party Presidential Candidate in the first place.

Americans’ palpable anger is one which has been building since January of 2009, when a Lightweight, who seems to have as much in common with us as a Martian would, was inaugurated as President of the United States of America.

That anger, a result of Obama’s anti-American actions and resulting policies, which have affected Americans’ daily lives, has been exacerbated by the Republican Elite, who, in their desire to “reach across the aisle” and “go along to get along”, have distanced themselves from the Conservative Voting Base, who elected them to Congress in the first place.

Meanwhile, average Americans, like you and me, remain mired up to our necks in an abysmal swamp of bills and taxes, living paycheck-to-paycheck, afraid to make a move, for fearing of drowning in an ocean of debt.

Seemingly forgotten, in all of the forgotten promises, made by Barack Hussein Obama, are the 94 million Americans, who are no longer, largely through no fault of their own, participating in our Workforce.

Anger has played an important part in the forging of this great country, which will be lucky to survive Obama’s final year in office.

It was anger that formed our country….an anger over being held captive to “Taxation Without Representation”…an anger which, as a prime example of history repeating itself, Americans are experiencing, even as I type this blog.

It is this anger, aimed at Professional Politicians and the Washingtonian Status has propelled Donald J. Trump and those who prefer that things remain the same, know it.

The indisputable fact of the matter is that, in “Open” Primaries, Trump did even better than he did in those primaries in which only Republicans could vote.

Americans are fed up with the Washingtonian Status Quo.

We are tired of professional politicians’ empty promises and their failure to properly address the issues facing America, in any way, except a self-serving one.

Paul Ryan and the Vichy Republicans, as I dubbed the Republican Establishment a while back, even after Trump became their nominee, still, incredulously, hold onto a slim hope that they can, perhaps, somehow derail “The Trump Train”, through the “power” of Republican Moderation, a “power” which has turned out to be as big a gross overestimation as the one regarding the invincibility of the RMS Titanic.

Average Americans will no longer tolerate a Republican Party who would rather be enablers of those who wish to “radically change” America, than be seen as opposing them.

The meteoric political success of Trump’s is partially a matter of timing.

Also, Trump is not afraid of hard work, as shown by his successful business career.

Trump has demonstrated at the past, as Rush mentioned, that he has great instincts.

These instincts have served him well in his Presidential Campaign.

Trump was in the right place at the right time with the right message.

The Democrats, along with their enablers in the Main Stream Media and the Republican Party Establishment, along with those “Conservative Voters”, who are unconsciously supporting them in their blind rage over Trump’s Victory are attacking Trump harder and harder everyday.

My question to those who are on “our side” is simple and direct…

Why would you want The Queen of Mean, Hillary Clinton, the Butcher of Benghazi, whom the majority of Americans overwhelmingly view as untrustworthy, to be the Leader of the Free World, putting us through at least four more years of the same economically debilitating Hell that her Former Boss Barack Hussein Obama, has put us through?

Are you insane?

Machiavellian in political ambition and armed with a vocabulary that would make the legendary Gong Show Judge, Jaye P. Morgan, blush (look her up, kids), “the Hildebeast” has cut a wide swatch in her path to Political Power.

It should be obvious to Americans by now, that she believes that morality and ethics are for “the little people” (i.e., you and me).

We already have a congenital liar in the White House.

We certainly do not need another one.

It would be the height of irony and a disservice to American Conservatives who have gone before, if a bunch of voters with hurt feelings destroys all the hard work of those who have tried to prevent this country’s destruction by an out-of-control Federal Government which panders to Special Interest Groups, instead of the American voters, while inadvertently aligning themselves with these Establishment Republicans.

Now is not the time for temper tantrums, now is the time for maturity.

It is time to begin the process of taking America back.

Donald J. Trump is unabashedly American and an advocate for American Exceptionalism.

Trump has struck a resonant chord in the hearts of Average Americans, living here in the part of America, which the snobbish Political Elites refer to as “Flyover Country”, but which we refer to as “America’s Heartland”, or, quite simply, “HOME”.

Trump speaks of “possibilities” and is offering a view from outside of the Washington Beltway.

Bill Hemmer hit the nail on the proverbial head.

Average Americans do not see things the way that the Professional Pundits do.

We see things in terms of our day-to-day lives.

We live in Realityville.

In summation, the American people are tired of Political Correctness and anti-American political expediencies being forced down our throats by both political parties and trumpeted by their lackeys in the Main Stream Media.

Donald Trump, for all of his brashness and braggadocio, is a breath of free air and, quite frankly an anomaly. He’s not a professional politician. He is a businessman who wants to become a public servant.

He is offering the possibility of a brand new “Morning in America”.

And, voters are desperate to wake up from this Long National Nightmare.

Until He Comes,

Protestation, Manipulation, and Radicalization: The Reason for America’s Long Hot Summer of 2016

Solutions-600-LA

In the beginning the organizer’s first job is to create the issues or problems.  – Saul Alinsky, “Rules For Radicals”

As the local and nation news continues to showcase the activists of the racist group, Black Lives Matter, America is left wondering…

Why now? Why is this happening now, with less than half a year left until the National Elections in November?

Just like children and their parents used to look for clues together in the Computer Version of “Where in the World is Carmen Sandiego?”, let’s look for clues, Gumshoes (detectives)!

According to the New York Times,

Sixty-nine percent of Americans say race relations are generally bad, one of the highest levels of discord since the 1992 riots in Los Angeles during the Rodney King case, according to the latest New York Times/CBS News poll.

The poll, conducted from Friday, the day after the killing of five Dallas police officers, until Tuesday, found that six in 10 Americans say race relations were growing worse, up from 38 percent a year ago.

Racial discontent is at its highest point in the Obama presidency and at the same level as after the riots touched off by the1992 acquittal of Los Angeles police officers charged in Mr. King’s beating.

Relations between black Americans and the police have become so brittle that more than half of black people say they were not surprised by the attack that killed five police officers and wounded nine others in Dallas last week. Nearly half of white Americans say that they, too, were unsurprised by the episode, the survey found.

Despite President Obama’s insistence at a memorial service for the fallen officers that the races in the United States are “not as divided as we seem,” the poll found that black and white Americans hold starkly different views on race, particularly regarding the treatment of African-Americans by the police.

Asked whether the police in most communities are more likely to use deadly force against a black person than a white person, three-quarters of African-Americans answered yes, and only about half as many white people agree. Fifty-six percent of whites said that the race of the suspect made no difference in the use of force; only 18 percent of black Americans said so.

When asked to rate the job their local police department was doing, four in five whites said excellent or good; a majority of blacks answered fair or poor. More than two-fifths of black people say the police in their communities make them feel more anxious than safe. By wide margins, whites and Hispanics say the police make them feel safer.

…Black

and white opinion is sharply divided on the aims and the approach of the Black Lives Matter movement.

Seventy percent of African-Americans are sympathetic to the movement, compared with only 37 percent of whites. Among all Americans, 41 percent agree with the movement, 25 percent disagree and 29 percent do not have an opinion either way.

So, we have assessed the “situation”.

But…what is the cause for this racial division?

According to The Daily Caller,

A Black Lives Matter activist who uses highway shutdowns as a protest tactic was rewarded with a White House visit on Wednesday.

Mica Grimm was among a group of activists, police officials and city leaders called to meet with President Obama to discuss police reform. Also present at the three-hour session were Al Sharpton and DeRay Mckesson, one of the faces of the national Black Lives Matter movement. Several members of Obama’s Presidential Task Force on 21st Century Policing attended as well.

Last week Grimm helped organize a shutdown of I-94, which runs through St. Paul. The protest was held in the wake of the police-involved shooting of Philando Castile, a St. Paul native who was fatally shot by a police officer during a traffic stop.

The day before the highway protest, Micah X. Johnson killed five Dallas police officers during a demonstration there. At the St. Paul rally, 21 officers were injured. One suffered a severed vertebrae after someone dropped a concrete block on his head from an overpass.

The Daily Caller also reports that

A post by what appears to be from the hacktivist group Anonymous is calling for a wave of anti-police Black Lives Matter protests in 37 cities in 26 states and Washington, D.C. at 7 p.m EDT Friday.

“ALL LIVES WONT [sic] MATTER UNTIL BLACK LIVES MATTER TOO,” declares the post on Pastebin.com. Another web site, D.C. Clothesline, attributes the coordinated protests as a “Day of Rage” called for by Anonymous.

Pastebin.com is “a website where you can store any text online for easy sharing mainly used by programmers,” according to its frequently asked questions page. It’s impossible to tell how credible the post is, given Anonymous’ lack of formal organization.

“WE ARE AGAINST ALL FORMS OF POLICE BRUTALITY. WE ARE READY TO TAKE A STAND,” the post said. “WE ARE ANONYMOUS.”

A nearly identical call-to-arms posted shortly after Michael Brown was shot in Ferguson, Mo. was ultimately a false rumor, Snopes.com reported.

The post includes the exact address and local time for protesters to rally.

So, Gumshoes, we have suspects and we have locations. Now, all we need is a possible motive.

Time for some deductive reasoning.

Rush Limbaugh made the following cogent observation on his program, yesterday…

There’s no effort to really solve this.  All that’s going on is more and more exploitation for personal gain.  The personal gain would be the advancement of a political agenda. It could be increased fundraising from which you siphon some money for your standard of living.

But there’s way too much benefiting happening here, way too much, and there isn’t any solving.  Nothing is oriented toward solving anything.  And that’s what grates on me.  Who among us wants the rest of our lives to be featuring this kind of stuff day in and day out, week in and week out?  What does this do to the nation’s morale?  What does this do to people’s overall attitude in the pursuit of happiness, life, liberty, what does all this do?

When you got this stuff hanging over your head every day, these constant allegations of racism, bigotry, sexism, that are bogus to begin with and then you have no effort to actually solve the problems people are bitching about?  It leads nowhere good, folks.  It leads nowhere positive.  It leads to a tipping point, it leads to a breaking point, it leads to a boiling over somewhere.

You can’t be engaged in all this.  You can’t create all this havoc.  You can’t start randomly shooting people, blowing things up not seeking a solution.  And there isn’t any solving going on.  Worse than that, there doesn’t seem to be any effort at solving anything, especially on the part of the provocateurs.

Alright, Gumshoes, let’s review the evidence, compiled from what we know from previous observations.

From 1985 – 1988, Obama was a Community Organizer in Chicago.

President Barack Hussein Obama is a follower of Karl Marx and Saul Alinsky, who said,

From each according to his abilities, to each according to his needs. – Karl Marx

Radicals must be resilient, adaptable to shifting political circumstances, and sensitive enough to the process of action and reaction to avoid being trapped by their own tactics and forced to travel a road not of their choosing. In short, radicals must have a degree of control over the flow of events. – Saul Alinsky

During his 2008 Presidential Campaign, Barack Hussein Obama himself said,

“We are five days away from fundamentally transforming the United States of America.” — Barack Obama, October 30, 2008

“We are going to have to change our conversation; we’re going to have to change our traditions, our history; we’re going to have to move into a different place as a nation.” — Michelle Obama, May 14, 2008

So, to answer the question, why is this happening now, in the last half of the last year of Barak Hussein Obama’s reign as President of the United States of America, Gumshoes?

“Radical Change” takes time.

And, Obama is running out of it.

Until He Comes,

Emailgate, The Rule of Law, and the “NeverTrumpers”

Cut-Off-600-nrdUp on Capitol Hill this morning, those who are supposed to be our Public Servants will put on a Dog and Pony Show, which promises to be interesting, but not impactful.

I hope that I am wrong.

Foxnews.com reports that

FBI Director James Comey will explain Thursday to House lawmakers his bombshell decision not to recommend criminal charges against Hillary Clinton over her handling of sensitive emails.

Comey, who took no questions after announcing his decision Tuesday, agreed to go before the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee after several lawmakers sought an explanation. In saying he would not press the Justice Department to pursue an indictment against the likely Democrat nominee for president, Comey nonetheless laid out a strong case that she had violated laws regulating government employees’ safeguarding of sensitive emails.

“The FBI’s recommendation is surprising and confusing,” Committee Chairman Jason Chaffee, R-Utah, said. “The fact pattern presented by Director Comey makes clear Secretary Clinton violated the law. Individuals who intentionally skirt the law must be held accountable. Congress and the American people have a right to understand the depth and breadth of the FBI’s investigation.”

Comey said 110 emails in 52 email chains discovered on Clinton’s unauthorized server were classified at the time they were sent or received, including some that were “top secret.” He also said that while the probe did not prove Clinton’s server was hacked, it may have been – and he pointedly noted that she used unsecure devices while visiting countries hostile to the U.S.

In addition to Chaffee, Sen. Ron Johnson, R-Wis., and Rep. Bob Goodlatte, R-Va., wrote the FBI director demanding to know how he justified his decision.

House and Senate judiciary committees could also seek testimony from Comey and his boss, Attorney General Loretta Lynch.

Lynch was already slated to testify next Tuesday at a House Oversight Committee hearing where Fox News has learned she will be questioned about the email investigation, and possibly her secret meeting with former President Bill Clinton just days before her department dropped the email case against the former first lady.

Coney’s decision was seen in many quarters as a punt. By branding Clinton’s use of unauthorized servers to send and receive sensitive — and in some cases top secret — information as “extremely careless,” Comey gave Clinton’s critics plenty of ammunition.

Rush Limbaugh made the following observations during his nationally syndicated Radio Program, yesterday…

Now, obviously criminal types have no respect for it, by definition.  But we’re not talking about criminals.  We’re talking about people in public life.  We’re talking about elected officials who campaign and seek our votes for all kinds of reasons.  And one of the things that is paramount in every election is the attempt to elect people who are of impeccable character, who are honest, who have integrity, who will thus respect the rule of law.  They run for president, they run for vice president, Senate, House, mayor, whatever, there is a United States Constitution, there are state constitutions, there is the oath of office.  It all matters.

We assume that the people who seek votes, who want to hold these high offices, we have always been able to assume they were people, we might disagree with politically or ideologically, but they had a common acceptance and reverence and respect for the governing documents that held the country together and defined it.  That’s what we’re losing here.  You can see it in the fight over the Second Amendment.  You can see it in any number of ways that the Democrats feel like they’re hamstrung by it.

To them, the Constitution is unfair, it’s too limiting, it’s is antiquated, it’s outdated, and it’s so insignificant now, you don’t even have to go through the legal process of amending it.  You can just ignore it because these are modern times, and it was written so long ago, and the Founders couldn’t possibly have anticipated what life would be like today.  Therefore, what they wrote should not be automatically applicable to life today.  That is the absence of respect for the rule of law.  And it’s exactly what’s happening.

Liberalism scares me, folks.  I come across here as adamantly opposed to it, but I do so because it scares me.  Liberalism, socialism, communism, they scare me. They frighten me because of what they portend life to become should they become dominant governmental mandates, should it become the way our government is operating.  Because it all equals the loss of liberty.

No matter how you slice it, the advent of liberalism, the spread of liberalism must, in order to spread, in order to grow, people have to lose freedom, people have to lose liberty, because liberalism is the amassing of power at the government level and as much as they can get.  And in order for them to have it, they have to take it.

As I was thinking about where to go at this point in this post, in regards to the chances of Presumptive Republican Candidate, Donald J. Trump, my mind (such as it is) began to analyze what Trump has said in the past.

If he had “played by the rules”, regarding upholding the Washingtonian Status Quo, he would not be where he is.

He continues to fight, not only those on the Democrat Side of the aisle, who are determined to make the Queen of Mean, Hillary Clinton, our next President, but, also those Republicans, and self-proclaimed “True Conservatives”, who want to keep Trump from becoming President of the United States of America at all costs, even if it means sacrificing our children’s and grandchildren’s future to do it.

You have either watched them on television, encountered them on Facebook Political Pages, or attempted to have a conversation with them in person.

They are the #NeverTrumpers.

For example, once one of my favorite radio show hosts to listen to, Glenn Beck has, in the last couple of years, become unlistenable.

The times that I have tuned in, during the course of the Republican Primaries, it sounded like Beck was possessed with the spirit of the late, great Ricardo Montalban, in his scene-stealing role as Khan in “Star Trek II”. I still fully expect to hear him say at one point:

[quoting from Melville’s Moby Dick] To the last, I will grapple with thee… from Hell’s heart, I stab at thee! For hate’s sake, I spit my last breath at thee!

As the spot-on cartoon that I used for the blog this morning, courtesy of the creative genius of Antonio F. Branco, illustrates, the #NeverTrumpers’ selfish obsession hurts themselves, as well as the country.

Holding one’s breath until they turn blue, or telling a Christian American Conservative that they are somehow condemned to Hell and are Unpatriotic, for voting for and supporting Donald J. Trump in his quest to become the next President of the United States of America, is not going to change the reality of the situation.

Neither will staying at home and not voting this November.

That’s been tried before.

That is how we got stuck with Petulant President Pantywaist.

Finally, if these “NeverTrumpers”, who claim to be Republicans, like Political Pundits Bill Kristol and George Will,  decide to pull a last-minute double-cross and have a Brokered Convention, or form a “Third Party”, nominating their own Moderate Milksop of a Presidential Candidate, America will be swearing-in Crooked Hillary as President next January.

Quite frankly…

If you hate Donald J. Trump so much, that you are willing to sacrifice America’s Future to get your “revenge”, seek professional help.

Or…change your last name to Khan…or Ahab.

We must never have someone who believes that they are above the law sitting behind the desk in the Oval Office in the most powerful position in the Free World.

The Queen of Mean and Fauxahontas: A Dream Team…For Pathological Liars

image
The Presumptive Democratic and Republican Candidates have not even received the nominations of their respective political parties yet, but the battle to determine who will be the next President of the United States of America has definitely started to heat up.

Yahoo News reports that

Elizabeth Warren attempted to beat Donald Trump at his own name-calling game in her first campaign event for Hillary Clinton in Cincinnati on Monday.

The Massachusetts senator, who is reportedly being vetted as a possible vice presidential pick for Clinton, declared presumptive GOP nominee Trump “a small, insecure money grubber,” a “nasty man who will never become president of the United States” and a “thin-skinned bully,” among other insults.

Clinton and Warren made a striking pair on stage at the Cincinnati Museum Center at Union Terminal as they clasped hands and triumphantly raised their fists high in the air. Supporters hoping for a Clinton-Warren ticket were seen waving “Girl Power” signs as they cheered on the two women.

Hillary Clinton’s Inspiring Message to Every Little Girl

Warren, who has recently become one of Trump’s most vocal critics, also accused the billionaire businessman of being out for himself only and not for the American people.

“When Donald Trump says ‘great,’ I ask: ‘great for who, exactly?’ ” Warren said. “When Donald says he’ll make America great, he means greater for rich guys just like Donald Trump. That’s who Donald Trump is … And you have to watch out for him, because he’ll crush you into the dirt to get whatever he wants.”

Warren praised Clinton as “someone who gets up every single day and fights for us” and applauded her advocacy for families and children, her “steady hands” and her “good heart.”

And Clinton was just as effusive in her praise of Warren, telling supporters, “You just saw why she is so terrific, so formidable. Because she tells it like it is.”

“I have to say, I do just love how she gets under Donald Trump’s skin,” Clinton added.

Elizabeth Warren Campaigns for Hillary Clinton for First Time, Calls Donald Trump a ‘Small, Insecure Money Grubber’| 2016 Presidential Elections, politics, Donald Trump, Elizabeth Warren, Hillary Rodham Clinton

It looks like Warren was able to accomplish just that with her speech on Monday.

Shortly after Clinton and Warren’s joint appearance, Trump’s campaign fired off an email titled “Sellout Warren,” labeling the progressive darling – who many believe was enlisted by Clinton to win over skeptical Bernie Sanders voters – “a turncoat for the causes she supposedly supports.”

“While Warren claims that Wall Street businesses have too much influence in D.C., by paying ‘barely disguised bribes,’ through campaign contributions,” the statement reads. “The Clinton campaign has accepted over $41 million this cycle from Wall Street interests. Warren is also campaigning for the author of the Trans-Pacific Partnership, a deal she has routinely slammed. This is a trade deal that Clinton has expressed support for in over 45 public speeches.”

“Warren’s campaigning for Clinton stands in stark contrast to the liberal ideals she once practiced,” the statement continues. “This sad attempt at pandering to the Sanders wing is another example of a typical political calculation by D.C. insiders.”

“Sellout Warren” appears to be a new nickname from Trump, who has previously shown a preference for “Pocahontas” – a reference to the 2012 controversy surrounding Warren’s Native American heritage – or “Goofy Elizabeth Warren.”

Warren turned one of Trump’s insults against him at the campaign event Monday, saying, “Donald Trump says he’ll make America great again … It’s stamped on the front of his goofy hats.”

“You want to see goofy? Look at him in that hat.”

Uh huh.

Trump posted on Facebook yesterday that

Crooked Hillary is wheeling out one of the least productive senators in the U.S. Senate, goofy Elizabeth Warren, who lied on heritage.

That doesn’t sound like she got under his skin to me.

In fact, both Clinton and Warren sound clueless to me, like all of their Liberal sycophants.

Rush Limbaugh explained the absurdity of Warren’s attack on Trump on husband radio program yesterday…

Donald Trump hasn’t taken anybody else’s money to get where he is. Elizabeth Warren does and has. Hillary Clinton does and has. There isn’t a single member of the Obama administration in the cabinet that’s ever held a private sector job, folks.

They’re all academicians, theorists, think tankers. None of them have ever held a job. None of them have ever owned a business. None of them have ever had a payroll. They are the money-grubbers. They’re the leeches. They are the true architects of greed. There is no greater institution of greed than the United States government and the Democrat Party which runs it, sadly with some Republicans tagging right along. Donald Trump hasn’t gotten what he has by taking it from anybody else.

But Hillary can’t say that, and Bill Clinton can’t say that, and Elizabeth Warren can’t say that.

But they’re out there saying, “He didn’t build that! He crush everybody. He crushed everybody into the dirt.” It’s just absurd. Donald Trump is full-fledged Capitalist 101, as are many successful people, and look how they are derided. Look how they are ground into the dust and ripped to shreds as “guys who always want more.” I think the Clintons always want more, right? As far as the Clintons are concerned, enough is never enough. They’re constantly seeking more. They’re constantly usurping more. Ditto, Elizabeth Warren. Ditto, every one of these leftist leading and living off the money of other people and then seeking to be seen as compassionate in the process.

Liberals like Clinton and Warren have to be the biggest hypocrites that I have ever seen.

As Rush said, they’re jumping on Trump because he’s a billionaire, and yet they are both worth millions of dollars.

As far as them being compassionate, caring individuals who only have the best interest of you and me at heart, that dog don’t hunt.

Every study that is available on the Internet shows that conservatives outgive Liberals by as much as 4 to 1.

Hilary, like Obama before her, is passionate in her speeches to her adoring fans about “sharing the wealth”.

And, Senator Elizabeth Warren is as big a socialist as Bernie Sanders.

Oh, they love to share the wealth… as long as it isn’t their own.

They are both very skilled at sharing our, the American Taxpayers’, wealth.

Who is more reprehensible… someone who has never held a legitimate job in the private sector , but has become wealthy while living on the taxes and donations of others, or someone who has built an Business Empire through hard work and dedication which employs thousands of hard-working Americans?

Those are your choices for President of the United States of America.

So… Who are you going to vote for?

The answer to my last question is a no-brainer…just like Hillary and Warren themselves.

Until He Comes,

Trump Secures Needed Delegates. Pundits Call For “Moderation”. Should He? H@!! no.

Fliped-Off-600-LAAs you undoubtedly know by now, yesterday, American Businessman and Entrepreneur Donald J. Trump secured 1,238 Delegates, securing the Republican Party’s Nomination as their Presidential Candidate.

Of course, now will come the cries from all of the “Political Pundits”, both professional and self-proclaimed, insisting that Trump “tone it down” and “move to the middle”.

Rush Limbaugh offered the following advice in his opening monologue on his radio show yesterday:

There are people who tell Trump, “You’ve gotta change, now. You have won the nomination.  It’s not the primaries.  It’s the general.  You have to change.”  And what that means is: “You have to tone it down! You have to dial it back.  You have to become more presidential.”  Whatever the advice is, it will consist of people thinking that Trump now has to grow in stature, in office, and drop whatever it is that worked during the primaries because they’re over now, and we’re on to the general, and it’s not a whole slate of opponents. It’s one opponent, and there’s all kinds of money involved now.

And the biggest mistake Trump could make would be to take any of that advice.  The biggest mistake Trump could make would be to listen to anybody who tells him it’s time to change.  Now, some of the advice is intended to sabotage, even people supposedly in your own circle.  Folks, there’s envy and there’s jealousy within every organization, and in something like Trump’s — which is red hot. It is the focus of attention in the modern world today, and everybody involved wants the light to shine on them, too.  It’s human nature.

… Everybody who is a powerful personality, who is generating a lot of heat, who is winning at what he’s doing and Trump’s doing all of that by a multiple factor of 10, Trump just owns it right now. And there are people that don’t like that. There are people that want to be part of it. There are people who want you to think they are responsible for it. There are all kinds of people surrounding Trump right now, and I’m guarantee you that he’s being advised by… I don’t know who they are, but I will guarantee you he’s being advised to change.

He’s being advised… He’s being told by some people, “You can’t do it this way! You can’t keep doing it the way you’re doing it. You’ve got to change. You’ve got to become more president. You’ve got to do,” whatever. He’s got people on his staff telling him to ignore that, too. Don’t… He’s got all kinds there. The point is, he ought not listen to anybody except the people he goes to to ask questions. But if somebody comes in and starts giving him advice, let it go in one ear and out the other.

Depending on who the person is, be respectful. But Trump’s instincts are just fine, and he had better continue to trust them. He had better not start doubting them. He’d better not let other people make him doubt them.

I agree with Rush.

Trump does not need to change who he is.

As his rising Popularity Polls show, Trump is striking a resonant chord in the hearts of Average Americans, living here in the part of America, which the snobbish Political Elites refer to as “Flyover Country”, but which we refer to as “America’s Heartland”, or, quite simply, “HOME”.

To put it in simple terms, Americans are angry.

You want to talk about anger and frustration?

Try looking for work, when you are over 55 years of age.

It makes you want to give up…daily.

But, I digress…

Trump is building a Coalition.

Americans are fed up with the Washingtonian Status Quo.

We are tired of professional politicians’ empty promises and their failure to properly address the issues facing America, in any way, except a self-serving one.

Paul Ryan and the Vichy Republicans, as I dubbed the Republican Establishment a while back, until recently, have hung onto a slim hope that they could, perhaps, somehow derail “The Trump Train”, through the “power” of Republican Moderation, a “power” which has turned out to be as big a gross overestimation as the one regarding the invincibility of the RMS Titanic.

Donald J. Trump is unabashedly American and an advocate for American Exceptionalism.

Trump speaks of “possibilities” and is offering a view from outside of the Washington Beltway.

The reason Trump is winning so many votes, including those of Democrats?

He is offering the possibility of a brand new “Morning in America”.

And. voters are desperate to wake up from this Long National Nightmare.

Rush Predicts Landslide Victory for Trump…He’s Right.

image

Yesterday, the final opponent of Donald J. Trump, in his quest to secure the Republican Nomination as their candidate for the President of the United States, Ohio Governor John Kasich, dropped out of the race.

After this news hit the media, the Hillary Clinton campaign immediately released a brand new ad attacking their presumptive opponent in the Presidential Election.

The Trump Campaign Ad answering that insulting ad, should be something to behold,

But, I digress…

The Godfather of Conservative Talk Radio,  Rush Limbaugh, made National Headlines yesterday,  when he said,

My instinctive feeling right now is that Trump is gonna win, beat Hillary badly, that it could be landslide proportions.

…They (the #NeverTrump voters and the Democrats) think that Hillary can go ahead and lose these states, lose every state. She’s losing more than she wins.  If you follow the news, it’s clear Bernie Sanders is winning (it seems like) every primary the past month.  And accompanying every Bernie Sanders victory story is the fact that he won nothing, that Hillary gets the delegates.  So there’s just as many — or proportionally just as many — agitated Democrats.  You add up people supporting Bernie Sanders to people supporting Donald Trump, and the people that supported Ted Cruz.

You add up those voters — and if they all vote, too, Hillary Clinton doesn’t have a prayer.  I don’t care about the Electoral College. I don’t care about anything else. Just like in terms of the people that are fed up with Washington and the establishment, as we sit here today, she is the lone candidate representing what obviously so many Americans, Republicans and Democrats for their own reasons right now happen to despise.  She’s losing the vote in every state, and yet the Democrats expect her to triumph.  Where is her momentum?

How in the world does Hillary go from losing after losing after losing to becoming a triumphant victor at the Democrat convention when she didn’t win diddly-squat except superdelegates in the Democrat Party?  And I guarantee you, the AP and the media and the Democrat Party, they’re not factoring all of this in because they’re sitting there saying, “We’re the Democrats! We’re invincible. We own the media. We don’t lose.”  They don’t have… They haven’t figured out yet that the media wants Donald Trump to be elected president.

They haven’t figured out the media wants Trump in the White House because it’s gonna be the most fun four years they’ve ever had.  It’ll be fun. They’ll try to take Trump out. They’ll be able to party with Trump! They’ll go to the White House. They’ll be able to do everything they do as media; they’ll be able to trying to destroy him. He’ll expect it. He’ll toy with ’em. They’ll get to cover him, go wherever he goes. It’s gonna be unexpected, unpredictable, ratings boosts and all kinds of stuff. Make no mistake: In the Drive-Bys, this is universal.  There’s nothing exciting about Hillary Clinton.

She’s been there, done that, in a lot of ways.

Rush’s statements are quite evident, judging by the victories that the old Socialist from Vermont, Bernie Sanders, has been able to gain in the Democratic Primary Elections, including the Recent one in Indiana.

By the way, why is this self-proclaimed SOCIALIST still in the Race?

Sanders is riding the crest of a wave of popularity among the generation whom we call “Millennials”…those, whom my late Daddy, who landed on the beaches of Normandy, France on D-Day, all those decades ago, in the biggest Fight Against Fascism that the world has ever known, and the rest of “The Greatest Generation”, would have called “useful idiots”, “dupes”, or “slackers” for their inability to recognize the con job and failed theory that is Marxism, when they see it.

Sanders seems to basically appeal to the collegiate and “slacker” vote, the MTV Generation, still living in Mom’s Basement, who cling to the vision of “money for nothing and their chicks for free”.

What his collective hive-mind of group-thinking followers do not seem to grasp is the reality that Marxism has NEVER worked, anywhere that it has been tried.

Man’s own greed and corruption, as in the case of the old Russian Politboro, always gets in the way of their dream for a Socialist Utopia.

That is the reason that Marxism remains a THEORY…and a failed one, at that.

Unfortunately, for these young minds full of mush, the Democrats had already chosen their presidential candidate come along before the primaries started.

Hillary Clinton was chosen as the potential successor to Barack Hussein Obama long before Bernie Sanders even decided to enter the race.

Because of the Backroom Political Machinations of the Democrat Party, Bernie never stood a chance.

That news isn’t all bad for ol’ Bernie, though.

Perhaps, they will make a remake of “Back to the Future”.

He’s a dead ringer for Doc Emmett Brown.

Regarding Rush Limbaugh’s comments about the Main Stream Media wanting Donald J. Trump to win the Presidential Election, as he himself said in so many words, be careful what you wish for.

One of the secrets to Donald Trump’s Political Success, is, in fact, his masterful manipulation of the scavaging vultures that comprise the Main Stream Media.

Trump has played the media like Charlie Daniels play the fiddle, with outstanding expertise and unerring accuracy.

Regarding his upcoming battle in the General Election with the “Queen of Mean” herself, Hillary Clinton…

Unfortunately for both the Democrats and the “Eeyores” and “Prophets of Doom” in the “#NeverTrump” Crowd, as Rush alluded to, the American people have her figured out, as her long and bloody Political History is there for everyone to see.

Lying comes as naturally to The Former First Lady as breathing in and out.

As I have written, from the time she was fired from the Watergate Investigative Committee to wiping her private e-mail server, Hillary Rodham Clinton has been as crooked as a dog’s hind leg.

Oh…and Ambassador Christopher Stevens remains unavailable for comment.

So, my Prediction for the upcoming Presidential Campaign, leading up to the election of Donald J. Trump, as the 45th President of the United States of America?

Grab your popcorn, boys and girls, this is gonna be fun.

Call It “Nationalism” or “Populism”, There is a Reason That Trump is Still Leading The Republican Primary: Americans Are Voting For Him.

Final-GOP-Cut-600-LAAs I was perusing my usual sources this morning, in my preparation for writing today’s post, I found an article by Patrick J. Buchanan, who was twice a candidate for the Republican presidential nomination and the Reform Party’s candidate in 2000. He is also a founder and editor of The American Conservative. Buchanan served three presidents in the White House, was a founding panelist of three national TV shows, and is the author of 10 books.

The title of the article, “What Trump Has Wrought”, leads one into a descriptive summary of the movement that the Political Intelligentsia is referring to as “Nationalism”.

In other words, the old-fashioned, according to Liberals and Marxists (but, I repeat myself), concept of PUTTING AMERICA FIRST.

And, while the article is a very nice summary of exactly where we are and why Donald J. Trump is leading the Republican Presidential Primary Race, on behalf of my fellow contributors at www.hotgas.net, please allow me to quote John McClane (Bruce Willis, in the now-classic movie, “Die Hard”), when I say,

Welcome to the party, pal!

As we have been chronicling, this “Nationalism” that Buchanan refers to in his article, is actually a Grass Roots Movement, just like the Tea Party Movement was, and is.

It is a Populist Movement.

Dictionary.com defines “populism” as

1. the political philosophy of the People’s party.
2. (lowercase) any of various, often antiestablishment or anti-intellectual political movements or philosophies that offer unorthodox solutions or policies and appeal to the common person rather than according with traditional party or partisan ideologies.
3. (lowercase) grass-roots democracy; working-class activism; egalitarianism.
4. (lowercase) representation or extolling of the common person, the working class, the underdog, etc.:populism in the arts.

That word first reappeared in the American Lexicon, when Sarah Palin almost dragged John McCain’s RINO Rear across the Finish Line, in the Presidential Election of 2008.

The Grassroots Movement, which began back then has led us to a seminal moment in American Politics.

The American People are speaking, loud and clear.

Along with my fellow contributors at Hot Gas, I have been writing factual articles about why Donald J. Trump was winning in the Republican Primaries, so far.

And, we have all caught Hell about it.

We have been was called everything, but Children of God.

Heck, one guy of the Political Facebook Page of another Christian American Commenter, even reported a recent article of mine as “spam”.

If y’all have any doubts about my Christian American Conservative Bonafides, there are almost 2,200 blogs which prove them, going back to April of 2010, when I started.

Or, you can ask the “Missional Community” (it’s not called “Sunday School” any more, at this contemporary church) Class I led last Sunday Morning at my home church.

But, I digress…

The word “populism” first reappeared in the American Lexicon, when Sarah Palin almost dragged John McCain’s RINO Rear across the Finish Line, in the Presidential Election of 2008.

The Grassroots Movement, which began back then, through the hard work of average Middle Class Americans, like you and me, has led us to a seminal moment in American Politics.

A “Citizen Statesman”, such as our Founding Fathers envisioned, is on track to be the Republican Candidate for the Presidency of the United States of America.

The American People are speaking, loud and clear.

A Candidate has to build a coalition, in order to win the Presidency.

Ronald Reagan, and, again, I am not comparing Trump to Reagan, figured out in 1980, that, in order to win the presidency, you had to bypass the Republican Establishment and go directly to the American People.

That is exactly what Donald J. Trump has done.

The Godfather of Conservative Talk Radio, Rush Limbaugh, broke it down for us, during his program on February 10, 2016…

This is what the Republican Party’s been telling us they need to win.  I’ve had ’em come to my office.  I’ve told you.  I’ve had Rand Paul here, Mitt Romney’s here.  One thing they’ve all said in common is that Republican Party can’t win with Republican votes alone anymore.  We have to branch out, we have to reach out.  This is what they were telling me to prepare me for some of the campaign tactics that I was gonna see. That they were gonna have to reach out and immigration was one of the ways of reaching out, supporting amnesty. Well, all along Trump has built that coalition the Republican Party claims to want and they’re out there badgering it and bashing it.  It’s exactly what they claim to want.  They could have had it.  The Republican Party could have had the Trump coalition.  They could have had it at health care.  A majority of Americans opposed Obamacare from the get-go.  The Republican Party could have seriously attempted to form an alliance with the Tea Party and the anti-Obamacare people and been a dominant majority party on that issue alone.  And then on subsequent issues to come down the pike the Republican Party could have formed an alliance with majorities in other areas of opposition, and they didn’t.

Donald Trump has the exact coalition the Republican Party, to a man, has told me they need to win, that they need to thrive.  And now they’re reduced to bashing it by virtue of bashing Trump.  And now they’re reduced to bashing it by virtue of bashing Cruz.  The two people who are showing the Republican Party all they had to do all these past seven years, but they didn’t.  They purposely, strategically, tactically refused to push back, refused to make a spectacle of stopping Obama, and they have themselves to blame for this predicament.

People are not gonna donate and donate and vote and vote and hear the right things during campaigns, the promises to stop Obama, to oppose Obamacare, to seriously make an effort to repeal it.  Even if they don’t have the votes to override a veto, the effort, all it would have taken was the effort, all it would have taken was put the onus on Obama, make Obama illustrate that all this is his fingerprints.  No such strategy was ever seen.

As I gave previously written, Trump is riding the crest of an ever-growing anger over the inaction of Professional Politicians, whom, after being voted into National Office by their constituents back home, have literally bitten the hand that feeds them, tossing Ma and Pa Kettle aside for Big Money Donors and the Political Prestige of “reaching across the aisle”, i.e.. “selling out”.

The results of today’s Wisconsin Primary, are promising to be very close.

All of the so-called “Political Pundits”, both Professional and self-identified, to use a Millennial Buzzword, have already given Cruz the victory.

The problem with their presupposition, is that several polls are showing a last-minute surge by Trump.

Things could get very interesting tonight.

I understand the ongoing frustration that Cruz Supporters are feeling.

I liked him, too. In fact, during his ongoing quest against the Establishment (Vichy) Republicans, I stood by him 100%.

However, this Presidential Primary Season has revealed, one thing, if nothing else:

There are no angels in these Presidential Primary Races. One either side.

The problem is, Moderates and Democrats, for whatever reason, do not trust Cruz.

Holding one’s breath until they turn blue, or telling a Christian American Conservative that they are somehow condemned to Hell and are Unpatriotic, for pointing out the reality that Trump is the Undisputed Leader in the Republican Primary Race, is not going to change the reality of the situation.

Neither will staying at home and not voting this November, if Trump receives the Republican Nomination.

That’s been tried before.

That is how we got stuck with Petulant President Pantywaist.

Finally, as I have observed in previous articles, if the Republican Establishment decided to have a Brokered Convention, as appoints their own Moderate milksop of a Presidential Candidate, America will be swearing-in President Hillary Rodham Clinton, next January.

However, I am beginning to believe that the Vichy Republicans. for all of their bluster, could care less.

They appear to be willing to do whatever it takes to preserve the Washingtonian Status Quo…including ignoring the wishes of the American Voters, who gave them their cushy jobs.

As it has  proven, without a doubt in the past, the Republican Establishment’s arrogance will be their undoing.

After all…

Actions (and Inactions) have consequences.

The 2016 Republican Primaries: A Clash Between Political Elitism and a Populist Reality

Super-600-CIPopulism – (NOUN)  1. support for the concerns of ordinary people: “it is clear that your populism identifies with the folks on the bottom of the ladder”

Liberals love to brag that they are the most intelligent and the most tolerant people in any room that they walk into.

That is a bunch of self-conceit and downright baloney. When a Conservative (the political ideology of majority of Americans) calls them on their overestimation of their intelligence, and humiliates them in public, if you will (as Legendary Professional Wrestler, the “American Dream”, the late Dusty Rhodes, used to say), they stalk them, like a hyena stalking a wounded gnu, waiting for the opportunity for revenge.

After the Political Massacre, that was the Mid-term Elections of 2014, the Main Stream Media has been waiting to get revenge of the Republican Party.

And, the arrogant obtuseness of the Republican Elite has given them that opportunity.

The Washington Post’s Lead Story today states the obvious…

Only a year ago, Republicans were congratulating themselves on having the strongest field of presidential candidates in a generation — diverse, highly credentialed conservatives who might be the salvation of a party that had lost the popular vote in five of the past six elections.

But now, the question is how close the Grand Old Party will come to annihilating itself and what it stands for.

Donald Trump — dismissed by GOP elders for months as an entertaining fringe figure who would self-destruct — has staged a hostile takeover and rebranded the party in his own image. What is being left by the wayside is any sense of a Republican vision for the country or a set of shared principles that could carry the party forward.

A substance-free shout-fest billed as a presidential debate Thursday night marked a new low in a campaign that has seen more than its share of them.

The increasingly prohibitive front-runner and his three remaining opponents spent nearly the entire two hours hurling insults back and forth, with Trump at one point making a reference to the size of his genitalia.

“My party is committing suicide on national television,” tweeted Jamie Johnson, an Iowa political operative who had been an adviser to former Texas governor Rick Perry, one of the dozen Republicans whose presidential campaigns have been incinerated by the Trump phenomenon. The latest, retired neurosurgeon Ben Carson, formally dropped out Friday.

Also Friday, Trump clarified earlier statements that as president, he would order the U.S. military to waterboard militants and carry out other acts that violate international law.

In a statement, he said he understands “that the United States is bound by laws and treaties and I will not order our military or other officials to violate those laws and will seek their advice on such matters.”

In Thursday’s debate, moderator Bret Baier had asked Trump what he would do if service members refused to comply with his orders for exteme measures. The candidate replied, “If I say do it, they’re going to do it. That’s what leadership is all about.”

Trump’s musings on torture were among the many remarks that have alarmed establishment Republicans as worrisome and reckless.

“Republicans in general tend to be a group of people who like to view themselves as serious, having decorum, being orderly, being thoughtful,” said Roger Porter, who served as a senior policy official in the White Houses of Ronald Reagan and George H.W. Bush and who is now a professor at Harvard University’s John F. Kennedy School of Government.

Uh huh.

I guess the writer never saw President Reagan chopping wood at his ranch or Dubya clearing brush at his.

But, I digress…

The word “populism” first reappeared in the American Lexicon, when Sarah Palin almost dragged John McCain’s RINO Rear across the Finish Line, in the Presidential Election of 2008.

The Grassroots Movement, which began back then has led us to a seminal moment in American Politics.

The American People are speaking, loud and clear.

A Candidate has to build a coalition, in order to win the Presidency.

But, how does a Candidate accomplish that?

Ronald Reagan figured out in 1980, that, in order to win the presidency, you had to bypass the Republican Establishment and go directly to the American People.

That is exactly what Donald J. Trump has done.

As the article from the Washington Post shows, both the Republican and the Democrat Elite, alike, are having trouble wrapping their heads around the reality of Trump’s Insurgency.

Reagan’s Attorney General, Ed Meese, in an article about reforming the Reagan Coalition from 2006, written for the Heritage Foundation after the Republicans blew the Mid-term Elections, stated that

Republicans failed to be the champions of the middle class; Republicans failed to be reformers, particularly on ethical matters; and Republicans became the party of big corporations and big corporation welfare-all of which tended to expand government and certainly increased the spending of government.

Since then, the Republican Establishment kept on repeating those same mistakes.

Now, Trump is riding the crest of an ever-growing anger over the inaction of Professional Politicians, whom, after being voted into National Office by their constituents back home, have literally bitten the hand that feeds them, tossing Ma and Pa Kettle aside for Big Money Donors and the Political Prestige of “reaching across the aisle”, i.e.. “selling out”.

By the way, I understand the frustration that Cruz Supporters feel right now.

I like him, too. In fact, during his ongoing quest against the Establishment (Vichy) Republicans, I’ve stood by him 100%.

If you would have told me, before Trump entered the race, that he would not be the Primary Leader, I would have disagreed with you.

Trump changed everything.

The problem is, Moderates and Democrats, for whatever reason, do not trust Cruz. I wish that they did.

Holding one’s breath until they turn blue, or telling Christian American Conservatives, such as myself, that they are somehow condemned to Hell and are Unpatriotic, for pointing out the reality that Trump is the Undisputed Leader in the Republican Primary Race, is not going to change the reality of the situation.

With Time Winding Down on the Game Clock, and Jeb! out of the Game, the Desperate Republican Elite, Call an Audible, and Bankroll Rubio

High-Ground-600-LAThe failure of  “Third Generation Professional Political Legacy” Jeb! Bush and the unabashed success of American Entrepreneur Donald J. Trump in the Republican Primaries, has forced the Establishment (Vichy) Republicans to “throw a lateral pass” and to bankroll Senator Marco Rubio, who , by default, has now become, “Their Guy”.

Mainstream Republican donors and elected officials flocked to Sen. Marco Rubio (Fla.) on Monday amid a growing sense that he is the last best chance to prevent Donald Trump from running away with the Republican presidential nomination.

But Rubio’s path remains narrow and perilous. He has yet to win a state, and a raft of major March 1 contests known as “Super Tuesday” offers few obvious chances for him to do so. And if Trump keeps racking up wins, it will become more difficult to blunt his progress.

Increasingly, there is a recognition among Republican elites that if Trump is not slowed by the middle of March, it may be too late to prevent him from winning the nomination.

“The window is closing, and we need to move now,” said Bobbie Kilberg, a major Republican donor who lined up behind Rubio after former Florida governor Jeb Bush ended his campaign Saturday.

Fielding questions from reporters here Monday morning, Rubio didn’t predict any imminent victories.

“We look forward to continuing to add delegates to our count, and as we get into the winner-take-all states, I think we’re going to be in a very strong position,” he said, referring to primary contests that begin March 15.

Bush’s departure from the race has provided Rubio with a much-needed injection of establishment money and structural support. Those who sided with Bush or were reluctant to cross him now feel free to back Rubio.

Throughout Monday, a string of former Bush backers from across the country gravitated to the senator from Florida, including former Republican presidential nominee Robert J. Dole and Sen. Orrin G. Hatch (R-Utah). In South Florida, Republican Reps. Ileana Ros-Lehtinen, Mario Diaz-Balart and Carlos Curbelo and former congressman Lincoln Diaz-Balart — all of whom had backed Bush — announced their support.

Rubio also picked up backers who previously stood on the sidelines, such as former Minnesota governor Tim Pawlenty and Sens. Jeff Flake (R-Ariz.) and Thom Tillis (R-N.C.).

On the donor side, in addition to Kilberg, former ambassador Francis Rooney, who gave more than $2 million to a pro-Bush super PAC through his holding company, is now with Rubio. So is financial industry executive Muneer Satter, who also made big donations to support Bush.

Phil Rosen, a New York lawyer who is a major Republican fundraiser, said he has spent the past two days on the phone with former Bush donors who are eager to join the Rubio effort.

Sen. Marco Rubio delivers his speech to a crowd at the conclusion of the South Carolina Republican primary on Saturday night. (Alex Holt/For The Washington Post)
“They have a lot of disappointment about Jeb, but they are ready to put full steam ahead for Marco,” said Rosen, who said he has gotten commitments from 15 top Bush bundlers.

“I am going to continue to reach out to literally every person that was on the Bush campaign,” he said.

Rosen said he has not encountered any residual bitterness from the campaign clashes between the two men.

In a new ad released Monday that will run in Super Tuesday states, a super PAC supporting Rubio casts Trump as “erratic” and “unreliable.” It says Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Tex.), another top rival, is “calculated” and “underhanded.”

Rubio campaigned in Nevada on Monday in advance of the state’s Tuesday caucuses, which seem to favor Trump but are small and unpredictable. At his campaign stops, Rubio talked up his personal ties to the state, where he lived as a child.

On March 1, Rubio’s most pressing goal will be to eclipse the threshold required — as high as 20 percent of the vote in some states — to qualify for delegates in the states holding contests that day, most of which are seen as friendlier to Trump or Cruz.

Beyond that, Rubio is looking to the delegate-rich states of Florida and Ohio on March 15, which will award delegates on a winner-take-all basis. Rubio’s backers concede that a loss in his home state to Trump would likely be a fatal blow.

As the pace picks up, Rubio has adopted a broader message, sounding general-election notes in recent days as he has tried to bolster his central argument: that he is the most electable candidate left in the GOP field.

“Americans are the descendants of people that came here, whether it was two centuries ago or two years ago, because they refused to live in a society that told them that they could not be who they wanted to be,” Rubio said in Franklin, Tenn., on Sunday before his largest crowd of the campaign. “America is the descendants of slaves who overcame that horrifying institution to claim their stake to the American Dream.”

In a North Las Vegas hotel ballroom Sunday night, Rubio recalled recently being asked about the GOP’s minority outreach issues and responding with a story about the ethnically diverse group of South Carolina leaders who backed him.

“I said, ‘Well, just this afternoon, I was onstage receiving the endorsement of an Indian American governor from South Carolina, who has endorsed a Cuban American from Florida. And I was standing next to the African American Republican senator from South Carolina. That sounds pretty minority to me,’ ” he said.

Rubio was introduced Sunday and Monday by Sen. Dean Heller (R-Nev.), a former Bush backer. Heller told the crowd in North Las Vegas that the race is a “two-man show” between Rubio and Trump and repeated himself in Reno on Monday. He pointedly left out Cruz, who won the Iowa caucuses and who finished close behind Rubio in South Carolina.

At a rally in Minden, which was held outside on a sunny and temperate afternoon, Heller joked, “I heard that Trump kicked El Niño out of the country.”

Rubio will campaign Tuesday in Minnesota and Michigan, which vote on March 1 and March 8, respectively. There, he will continue his strategy of focusing on major metropolitan areas and suburbs.

A threat to Rubio, particularly in the Midwest, is Ohio Gov. John Kasich, a centrist who finished second in New Hampshire and is signaling that he has no intention of leaving the race. Kasich will campaign in Virginia, Georgia, Mississippi and Louisiana this week.

In the South, Cruz — who was bruised by his third-place showing in South Carolina — remains a major obstacle to Rubio. The Texan has staked his campaign heavily on a collection of Southern states voting on March 1.

And then there is Trump, who is ahead in polling and seemingly poised to compete everywhere. Rubio aides are confident that Trump has a lower ceiling of support than their candidate. But the front-runner is fresh off decisive wins in New Hampshire and South Carolina and campaigning hard in Nevada.

At a Sunday rally for Rubio in Little Rock, Seth Flynt, 28 of Sherwood, Ark., held up an “Anyone but Trump” sign.

Flynt embodied the challenge Rubio faces in trimming down the field to a one-on-one showdown with Trump. He explained that Rubio was not his first or even second choice. His pick: retired neurosurgeon Ben Carson, who is still in the race despite poor showings in the early states.

Okay…so now, Senator Marco Rubio is the New “Establishment Guy”.

Gosh, who could have seen that coming? **cough**  **Everybody who has been paying attention.** **cough**

The problem is, Rubio is still in Third Place, engaged in a “Bi-lingual Battle” with Senator Ted Cruz.

On his program yesterday, the Godfather of Conservative Talk Radio, Rush Limbaugh, addressed the main reason why the “Rank Amateur”, Donald J. Trump is presently beating the “Professional Politicians” like a rented mule…

But, what is one of the things you have to do to succeed in politics? (interruption) Well, yeah, you have to win, but you have to draw flies. You have to draw people. You have to make a connection with people. You have to go out there and you have to do whatever it takes, because that’s how you win. Yeah, you have to win. Yeah, you have to raise money. But you do all that by connecting with people. You have to create an army of supporters. Now, here’s Trump — a quote/unquote “political neophyte,” never done it before. In the words of the establishment, he’s inexperienced, doesn’t know what he’s doing. “We’re the pros.” The establishment cannot draw flies. The Republican establishment candidates cannot draw a crowd. They cannot connect with the voters. They have blown it. So just how…? For people who think that Trump is somehow doing all this on a whim and things are aligning and it’s just coincidental that it’s working, Pat’s point is that there’s much more than coincidence going on here.

And it looks like Trump has a better understanding of what has to be done to draw a crowd and to hold the crowd and to expand the crowd than the political professionals, the people that devoted their lives to it. And make no mistake: That ticks ’em off. Oh, do not misunderstand. Here you have this cadre of political professionals at all levels. You got professional analysts. You got professional strategists. You got professional consultants. You have professional advisors.

You have professional lobbyists. You have professional suck-ups. You have professional yes-men. You have professional everything. You’re inside the Beltway and you’ve got the best, the creme de la creme. And here comes a guy, a reality TV host carnival barker, and he’s running rings around you on your field. He’s running rings around you in your business. It makes total sense that they would be flabbergasted, that they would be discombobulated, that they would be all out of sorts and not understanding what’s hit them.

Because there’s an arrogance sometimes that attaches itself to years and years and years of unchallenged dominance or superiority. And it’s clear that the professional political class is making a mess of things.

Americans have watched in disgust as a United States President intentionally harmed our country, while he and his fellow travelers, Professional Progressive Politicians on both sides of the aisle, thumbed their noses at the wishes of the overwhelming majority of American Citizens…the people who elected them to their cushy jobs in the first place: THEIR BOSSES.

Average Americans yearned for Common Sense Leadership.

A LEADER WHO WOULD RECOGNIZE THEIR ANGER AND FRUSTRATION AND REPRESENT THEM…NOT THEMSELVES.

A Leader who would stand up for average Americans.

Americans wanted someone who thought and spoke like this man:

I don’t believe the people I’ve met in almost every State of this Union are ready to consign this, the last island of freedom, to the dust bin of history, along with the bones of dead civilizations of the past. Call it mysticism, if you will, but I believe God had a divine purpose in placing this land between the two great oceans to be found by those who had a special love of freedom and the courage to leave the countries of their birth. From our forefathers to our modern-day immigrants, we’ve come from every corner of the earth, from every race and every ethnic background, and we’ve become a new breed in the world. We’re Americans and we have a rendezvous with destiny. We spread across this land, building farms and towns and cities, and we did it without any federal land planning program or urban renewal.

Indeed, we gave birth to an entirely new concept in man’s relation to man. We created government as our servant, beholden to us and possessing no powers except those voluntarily granted to it by us. Now a self-anointed elite in our nation’s capital would have us believe we are incapable of guiding our own destiny. They practice government by mystery, telling us it’s too complex for our understanding. Believing this, they assume we might panic if we were to be told the truth about our problems.

Why should we become frightened? No people who have ever lived on this earth have fought harder, paid a higher price for freedom, or done more to advance the dignity of man than the living Americans the Americans living in this land today. There isn’t any problem we can’t solve if government will give us the facts. Tell us what needs to be done. Then, get out of the way and let us have at it.

That was Ronald Wilson Reagan, the greatest American President in my lifetime, a man who brought us together, instead of pitting us against each other….a man who stood up to tyranny, instead of embracing it…A LEADER…NOT A FOLLOWER.

He became the President of the United States by communicating directly with the American People, in straight-forward language, that we could understand.

While Trump is not Ronald Reagan, he, too, has identified the Political Reality, known as the Washingtonian Status Quo, which has been holding average Americans, here in the Heartland, hostage, for far too many years.

Now, the good ol’ boys in the Northeast Republicans’ Club, or Vichy Republicans, as I like to call them, after the failure of Jeb!, have finally begun to realize that the majority of Americans out here in the Heartland are fed up with the greed and machinations of self-serving Professional Politicians., and are scrambling to maintain their Positions of Power.

And, it is nobody’s fault but their own.

You see, boys and girls, they forgot, a long time ago, that they are not “THE BOSS”…WE ARE.

And, to paraphrase “The Donald”,

THEY’RE FIRED!

Until He Comes,

Hillary After New Hampshire: From “The Inevitable Candidate” to Just Another “Face in the Crowd”?

Berni-Treasure-600-nrdLast  night, in the New Hampshire Democrat Primary Election, Former Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton, lost, in epic fashion, to the old Socialist, Bernie Sanders.

In fact, the only age group who voted for her, were well-off folks, who were 65 years old and older.

What happened to “The Inevitable Democrat Presidential Candidate”?

Dick Morris, Former Advisor to President Bill Clinton, wrote the following op ed for thehill.com

Hillary Clinton’s presidential campaign is falling apart. Bernie Sanders soared in New Hampshire and now two polls have him tying her nationally. It’s a disaster.

Now she’s called in the B Team — the cynical, paranoid and wacky twins Sidney Blumenthal and David Brock — to bail her out. And here comes the elderly, diminished and livid former President Bill Clinton to lead the duo’s frantic attacks on Sanders.

The attacks are rooted in nothing more than a list of dirty names they call the Vermont senator every day. Having found little in his record to attack, they have consulted the thesaurus to turn up ugly sounding accusations.

Sanders has a coherent, consistent and concise message: Incomes are stagnant because the economy is rigged by the top one-tenth of 1 percent that controls politics through massive campaign contributions.

Clinton has no competing message, just the charge that Sanders’s supporters are “sexist and vulgar.” Brock adds that one of Sanders’s ads was racist because it had too many white people in it.

Their strategy is laughable. After losing 84 percent of young voters in Iowa — and failing to recover them in New Hampshire — they sent in two aging fossils of feminism to insult and threaten young women.

The 81-year-old feminist Gloria Steinem charged that young women are only backing Sanders because that’s where they can meet boys. And 78-year-old Madeleine Albright threatened to consign to a “special place in hell” women who don’t back female candidates like Clinton.

Those are two great ways to attract young voters.

The aging and raging ex-president, meanwhile, speaking to a half-filled gym in a New Hampshire school, ranted about Sanders’s “hypocrisy” in condemning his wife’s paid speeches. Sanders, too, has given paid speeches, Bill Clinton claimed.

He’s got a point. In 2013, for example, Sanders made all of $1,500, which he donated to charity as required by federal law. In 2014, he raked in $1,850 for paid speeches. By contrast, Clinton made, and kept, over $21 million during the same time period. Sanders was only reimbursed for coach class airfare, while Clinton demanded private jets. Sanders’s hosts were the TV show “Real Time with Bill Maher,” Avalon Publishing and a machinists union. Clinton’s were Goldman Sachs, the big banks and the pharmaceutical and energy industries. What hypocrisy for Sanders to use that as an issue!

Both Brock and Blumenthal share the former first lady’s enthusiasm for discussing the “vast right-wing conspiracy” in America. Now that they’ve been outed as being back on her team, it’s easy to understand why Clinton sees conspiracies everywhere. This paranoia, egged on by the B Twins, explains her failure to grasp the cataclysmic changes her own misconduct has wrought on her image, to say nothing of the societal and economic tectonic shifts at work. No, it’s all the GOP’s fault.

Blumenthal worked to spin Monica Lewinsky as a crazed stalker of an innocent president, and his hundreds of gossipy emails urged Clinton to do all she could to topple Moammar Gadhafi when she was secretary of State without realizing that it would open the door and let the terrorists waltz in. He hides in the shadows, ducking subpoenas and frantically emailing his crazy self-serving ideas while flattering his way into Clinton’s affections.

Brock first came into the Clinton camp as a convert from conservatism. Before he did so, he outed Paula Jones, triggering Bill Clinton to lie to a grand jury, resulting in close to $1 million in payments to Jones and thousands to the court in fines, as well as disbarment and impeachment scandals. Now he serves to destroy Hillary Clinton’s career as well by counseling a scorched-earth policy that savages Sanders and alienates the very young people who must provide Clinton her political base in the general election.

Neither the B Twins nor Bill Clinton’s rage can save the bewildered former secretary of State, who cannot understand why a funny thing is happening on her way to her coronation. Voters looked at her and ran screaming.

My, how the “Inevitable Democrat Presidential Candidate” has fallen.

I was immediately struck by how similar the rapidly-devolving candidacy of Hillary Rodham Clinton was to the classic movie “A Face in the Crowd”:

afaceinthecrowdAndy Griffith makes a spectacular film debut in this searing drama as Lonesome Rhodes, a philosophical country-western singer discovered in a tanktown jail by radio talent scout Patricia Neal and her assistant Walter Matthau. They decide that Rhodes is worthy of a radio spot, but the unforeseen result is that the gangly, aw-shucks entertainer becomes an overnight sensation not simply on radio but, thereafter, on television. As he ascends to stardom, Rhodes attracts fans, sponsors and endorsements by the carload, and soon he is the most powerful and influential entertainer on the airwaves. Beloved by his audience, Rhodes reveals himself to his intimates as a scheming, power-hungry manipulator, with Machiavellian political aspirations. He uses everyone around him, coldly discarding anyone who might impede his climb to the top (one such victim is sexy baton-twirler Lee Remick, likewise making her film debut). Just when it seems that there’s no stopping Rhodes’ megalomania, his mentor and ex-lover Neal exposes this Idol of Millions as the rat that he is. She arranges to switch on the audio during the closing credits of Rhodes’ TV program, allowing the whole nation to hear the grinning, waving Rhodes characterize them as “suckers” and “stupid idiots.” Instantly, Rhodes’ popularity rating plummets to zero. As he drunkenly wanders around his penthouse apartment, still not fully comprehending what has happened to him, Rhodes is deserted by the very associates who, hours earlier, were willing to ask “how high?” when he yelled “jump”. Written by Budd Schulberg, Face in the Crowd was not a success, possibly because it hit so close to home with idol-worshipping TV fans. Its reputation has grown in the intervening years, not only because of its value as a film but because of the novelty of seeing the traditionally easygoing Andy Griffith as so vicious and manipulative a character as Lonesome Rhodes.

Just like Lonesome Rhodes, Hillary’s is a completely manufactured persona. Also like Rhodes, she was meant to represent something unique.

While Rhodes represented the common man, down on his luck, who pulled himself up by his bootstraps to achieve success, Clinton, in turn, is supposed to represent the return of the affable Bill “Bubba” Clinton’s reign as President…a fictional Kennedy-style “Camelot”, where Fairy Tales came true, and the Progressive Clintons ruled with impunity.

And, just as Rhodes was exposed for the vacuous, megalomaniac that he was, so has Hillary been revealed for who she is, through Benghazi and the popular movie about that horrible night, her corrupt influence-peddling involving the Clinton Foundation, and, the FBI Investigation into her use of private servers to handle Top Secret E-mails, while she was Secretary of State.

About that influence-peddling…

Hillary continues to refuse to release the contents of her speeches to Goldman Sachs. There’s a reason for that.

In an attempt to appeal to the young and dumb Bernie Voters, Hillary has been trying to portray herself as an anti-capitalist.

However, Rush Limbaugh, during his nationally-syndicated radio program on February 8th, made  the following observation

How did the Clintons end up having a fortune of $150 million when they had Clinton’s salary of 400 grand as president and Hillary, whatever she had as a Rose Law Firm lawyer, they didn’t have any money compared to this.  I’m not saying they were dirt poor, but how they ended up having $150 million, for doing speeches, are you kidding me?  Nobody gets paid that much to do speeches, because nobody has that much to say to make it that worth it.  There’s something else going on here.  That’s why Mrs. Clinton won’t reveal the transcripts of these speeches.  Something in them would give away the game.

Either these speeches are filled with nothing but slathering, slavish, complimentary garbage about how great the banks are, how great Goldman Sachs is, and if that’s in there, there’s no way Mrs. Clinton wants her average voters to see that.  As far as Democrat voters are concerned, Hillary and Bernie hate the banks, and if there are transcripts of speeches with Hillary out there praising the banks, talking how wonderful the banks are, saving the world, it would be a big problem.  So there’s no way you’re ever gonna see those transcripts.  But, I mean, $120 million doing speeches.  This is so phony you can just see right through it.

In conclusion, there was a reason that the only voter bloc that Hillary carried last night was the old and the wealthy.

They are the only Democrat Voters who can relate to her.

Now, don’t get me wrong…Bernie is nothing but a Professional Politician, peddling empty promises, also.

However, just like the “47%” voted “Baracky Claus” into a second term as President, so are the “Young and Dumb” voting for “Mr. Free Stuff” in the Democrat Primary Elections.

Perhaps Hillary should promise the young Democrat Ladies free dates with Bubba?

Until He Comes,

KJ
