Liberal Clergy, Including a Muslim Cleric, Protest Film About Al Qaeda Being Shown at 911 Museum

twintowers911A bunch of Liberal Clergy Members, including a Muslim Cleric, are upset that the 911 Museum in New York City plans to show a film about the Muslim Terrorist Organization responsible for the massacre of almost 3,000 Americans, on September 11, 2001.

Foxnews.com reports that

An interfaith advisory group of clergy members in New York is raising concerns over a documentary that will be shown at the National September 11 Memorial Museum when it opens next month, arguing the film is offensive to Muslims.

The film, “The Rise of Al Qaeda” refers to the 9/11 terrorists as Islamists and uses the term jihad, which has panel members worried the film will leave museum visitors with a prejudiced view of Islam, The New York Times reported.

“The screening of this film in its present state would greatly offend our local Muslim believers as well as any foreign Muslim visitor to the museum,” Sheik Mostafa Elazabawy, the imam of Masjid Manhattan and member of the interfaith group, wrote in a letter to the museum’s director.

“Unsophisticated visitors who do not understand the difference between Al Qaeda and Muslims may come away with a prejudiced view of Islam, leading to antagonism and even confrontation toward Muslim believers near the site.”

According to The New York Times, the seven-minute film explains the historical roots of the attacks and the ideology of the terrorists. The film, which has been showed to several groups, features images of terrorist training camps other attacks.

Peter Gudaitis, who brought the panel together as the chief executive of an interfaith group, told the newspaper the museum rejected certain suggestions from the panel, such as making clear that the majority of Muslims are peaceful.

Museum officials defended the film, which was vetted past several scholars.

“From the very beginning, we had a very heavy responsibility to be true to the facts, to be objective, and in no way smear an entire religion when we are talking about a terrorist group,” Joseph C. Daniels, president of the organization overseeing the memorial and museum, told The New York Times.

Despite the panel’s concerns about the film, the group was pleased to see that the museum’s exhibit space included photographs of Muslims who were among the attack’s victims, mourners and recovery workers, according to the report.

The museum is scheduled to open May 21.

Guess what, gentlemen? It wasn’t Southern Baptists who committed the largest act of terrorism ever perpetrated on American Soil.

It was RADICAL MUSLIMS.

Let’s review, shall we?

Court documents in the case of Zacarias Moussaoui, the 20th hijacker from 9/11/2001, outline how the three main leaders in Florida — Mohamed Atta, Marwan al-Shehhi and Ziad Jarrah — arrived there in the summer of 2000. Interviews and media accounts fill many of the gaps left by the FBI.

Atta, al-Shehhi and Jarrah had attended Technical University in Hamburg, Germany, in the late 1990s. They had been roommates there, part of an Islamic student group that hated Western ways. Atta signed a “will” in 1996, pledging to die in a “holy war” against the infidels.

The federal indictment against Moussaoui told how more than $114,000 from the United Arab Emirates was distributed that summer to Atta and al-Shehhi through SunTrust bank accounts in Florida. Much more would come later from the al-Qaida terrorist network. The cost of the operation was nearly $500,000.

The indictment said Atta and al-Shehhi took flying lessons from July to December at Huffman Aviation, a flight school in Venice.

Jarrah showed up that summer in Venice also, taking piloting classes at a neighboring flight school.

When Atta and al-Shehhi got their commercial pilots licenses in December 2000, Florida was still pre-occupied with the close election that put George W. Bush in the White House.

A few days later, Atta and al-Shehhi moved over to Florida’s east coast, in Opa-Locka, where each paid $1,500 cash for three hours in a Boeing 727 simulator.

During the spring and summer of 2001, eight additional hijackers came to the United States and settled in Florida. Nine opened SunTrust bank accounts. Three others arrived in San Diego, completing the five-man team based in California.

That spring and summer, the Florida terrorist group made itself at home in South Florida, renting apartments and condos, attending gyms, and going to restaurants. They were seen a lot, hsanging around Hollywood and Delray Beach.

These terrorists assimilated into American Society, excuse the expression, flying under the radar, only to strike on September 11th, 2001, killing 2,819 in the word Terrorist attack ever on American soil.

I have a question for you, gentle reader.  How many well-known practitioners/leaders of Islam can you remember speaking out after the horrible events of  September 11th, 2001?

I’m waiting.

Not too many, huh.  If you can remember any at all, you can count them on one hand.  One that remains at the forefront of opposition to Radical Islam to this day is Dr. M. Juhdi Jasser.  I’m sure you’ve seen him in his appearances on Fox News as a contributor.

Do you remember  few years ago, when those 6 Imams behaved suspiciously on an airplane, resulting in their arrest?  After Dr. Jasser spoke out about the incident, he appeared on Mark Levin’s radio show and told him about the Muslim world’s reaction to his speaking out, which included being pulled from a 2007 PBS series which featured an episode titled Islam vs. Islamists:

The producers had seen my work and followed our travails with the moderates here, with what we’re doing against the fundamentalists locally. They came and spent the week with me and looked at all of our activities, the interfaith community, and spent time interviewing some of the imams locally [Arizona] and others… It is sort of a microcosm of what happened. People say, “Where are the moderates, why aren’t they speaking up?”

The movie looks at some of the response and how I’ve been demonized. I’ve been labeled as a false Muslim. I’ve been told that even though I’m proud to raise my kids Muslim and I pray and I fast that really I’m imposing a secular separation of religion and politics in our faith and for me to try to get the imams to stop talking politics in their sermons is to impose something false into our faith…

All I’ve tried to do is open the debate. The important thing this documentary did was to begin the debate and to say that certainly the fundamentalists are able to express what they want in our free speech but they shouldn’t suppress what I have to say. They should allow us to bring this debate into the Muslim community.

The preceding information came from a post I wrote on September 12, 2010, titles “A Growing Resentment”. At the time, I also wrote this:

The oppression of the Politically Correct Elite, including those now in positions of power over us, has created a backlash.  In their zeal to forcibly unite a nation created on Judeo-Christian principles with a political ideology masquerading as a religion, Progressives have become responsible for the public demonstrations of dissent that they claimed were so “patriotic” during the Bush administration.  Unfortunately for the “smartest people in the room”, they did not realize how deeply Americans would resent being apologized for to those who view us as infidels.

The thing is , proud Muslim Americans, like Dr. Jasser, are not only accepted, but admired by average Americans. They are our neighbors, our teachers, our physicians, and our friends.

However, those who not only will not admit the reality of the burden of responsibilty for that massacre on that horrible day of September 11, 2001, do not deserve our acceptance, nor our support.

Both Radical Muslims, like the murderous al Qaeda, and their apologists, deserve nothing…but our disdain.

The Syria Situation: Our Untrustworthy President

obamamyworkAs I was driving home yesterday, I was listening to “The Five”, on the Fox News Channel, Sirius XM 114.

Their resident Liberal Curmudgeon, Bob Beckel, started going off, as he has been all week, about the horrible lack of support for President Barack Hussein Obama’s plan to have a “limited engagement” against Syria’s President Assad, for allegedly killing his own citizens with chemical weapons.

What got my attention was that Beckel, obviously re-iterating the Liberal Memo of the day, that other presidents has gotten us involved in wars without Congressional approval. He, naturally, brought up Kosovo…and then, he brought up Grenada.

In October of 1983 the United States invaded the island of Grenada and overthrew the communist government in favor of a pro-Western one in a span of less than two months.

The murder of Prime Minister Maurice Bishop had triggered a breakdown in civil order that threatened the lives of American medical students who were living on the island. At the request of allied Caribbean nations, the US launched “Operation Urgent Fury,” sending the Marines to the north of the island and Army Rangers to the south.

Needless to say, our Brightest and Best kicked tail and took names taking the island by mid-December. An Interim Advisory Council was established and it governed Grenada until December 1984, when Herbert A. Blaize, the head of the New National Party, was made Prime Minister through parliamentary elections.

The United States President at the time was Ronald Wilson Reagan.

Beckel was wondering yesterday afternoon was the difference was between then and now.

There is a world of difference between Grenada and Syria.

First, Americans were in danger on the island of Grenada. The Syrians are killing each other.

Second, we tackled the “Grenada Situation” head on, sending the full force of our military assets on a mission to rescue our citizens.

Third, and most importantly, Americans, as a whole, trusted and supported President Ronald Reagan.

At this point, Obama has to wear a pork chop around his neck to get his two dogs to play with him.

Heck, even Pope Francis is calling ol’ Scooter out…

Pope Francis has written a letter to Russian President Vladimir Putin, host of the G-20 summit that President Obama is attending, urging world leaders to oppose a military intervention in Syria.

“To the leaders present, to each and every one, I make a heartfelt appeal for them to help find ways to overcome the conflicting positions and to lay aside the futile pursuit of a military solution,” the Pope urged. “Rather, let there be a renewed commitment to seek, with courage and determination, a peaceful solution through dialogue and negotiation of the parties, unanimously supported by the international community.”

The move is the latest in a series of efforts by the Holy See to prevent military action in the already civil-war torn region. On Sunday, the Pope declared in his Angelus teaching that Saturday Sept. 7 would be an day of fasting and prayer for peace in Syria. The prayer rally will take place in St. Peter’s Square from 7 p.m. to midnight, on the vigil of the birth of Mary, the Queen of Peace. “Let us ask Mary to help us to respond to violence, to conflict and to war, with the power of dialogue, reconciliation and love,” the Pope asked people around the world. “She is our mother: may she help us to find peace; all of us are her children!”

Next Pope Francis took his views on Syria to Twitter. On Monday he tweeted, “War never again! Never again war!” and “How much suffering, how much devastation, how much pain has the use of arms carried in its wake.” On Tuesday, he tweeted “We want in our society, torn apart by divisions and conflict, that peace break out!” and “With utmost firmness I condemn the use of chemical weapons.” Today his social media message was, “With all my strength, I ask each party in the conflict not to close themselves in solely on their own interests. #prayforpeace.”

Cardinal Dolan and leaders of the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops followed the Pope’s lead and wrote to every member of Congress today urging them to vote against military intervention in Syria. Yesterday the USCCB also wrote to President Obama, reminding him that the Pope and Middle Eastern Bishops “have made it clear that a military attack will be counterproductive, will exacerbate an already deadly situation, and will have unintended negative consequences.” Dolan also asked Catholics to urge their representatives in Washington to vote against a military strike.

The Vatican, which almost always stops short of taking sides in international issues, historically holds to just war theory, which requires a military defense meet a set of strict qualifications, including that “the damage inflicted by the aggressor on the nation or community of nations must be lasting, grave, and certain,” “all other means of putting an end to it must have been shown to be impractical or ineffective,” and ”the use of arms must not produce evils and disorders graver than the evil to be eliminated.”

On Tuesday night, Obama is finally going to address the nation , concerning his desire to insert us into Syria’s Civil War, on behalf of al Qaeda. Of course, he will not refer to them as al Qaeda, he will call them “REbels” and “freedom Fighters”.

And, his pleas will fall of deaf ears.

You see, after 5 years of intentionally attempting to turn American into just another socialist nation, while happily entertaining members of the Muslim Brotherhood, in the People’s House, Americans on both sides of the aisle are smelling what Obama’s Shoveling.

And, it sure doesn’t smell “like Teen Spirit”.

We are not the only ones who are telling the Lightbringer to go jump…House Members are, too.

Two new whip counts of House members by ABC News and the liberal Firedoglake web site show a majority of House members firmly or leaning against intervention. The Washington Post’s more conservative count stands at 204 “no” votes, only 13 short of the majority needed to kill the president’s request.

When it comes to a succinct overview of this whole mess and Obama’s lack of judgement, II wholeheartedly agree with the indomitable Sarah Palin, who recently wrote,

President Obama wants America involved in Syria’s civil war pitting the antagonistic Assad regime against equally antagonistic Al Qaeda affiliated rebels. But he’s not quite sure which side is doing what, what the ultimate end game is, or even whose side we should be on. Haven’t we learned? WAGs don’t work in war.

* We didn’t intervene when over 100,000 Syrians were tragically slaughtered by various means, but we’ll now intervene to avenge the tragic deaths of over 1,000 Syrians killed by chemical weapons, though according to the White House we’re not actually planning to take out the chemical weapons because doing so would require “too much of a commitment.”

* President Obama wants to do what, exactly? Punish evil acts in the form of a telegraphed air strike on Syria to serve as a deterrent? If our invasion of Iraq wasn’t enough of a deterrent to stop evil men from using chemical weapons on their own people, why do we think this will be?

* The world sympathizes with the plight of civilians tragically caught in the crossfire of this internal conflict. But President Obama’s advertised war plan (which has given Assad enough of a heads-up that he’s reportedly already placing human shields at targeted sites) isn’t about protecting civilians, and it’s not been explained how lobbing U.S. missiles at Syria will help Syrian civilians. Do we really think our actions help either side or stop them from hurting more civilians?

* We have no clear mission in Syria. There’s no explanation of what vital American interests are at stake there today amidst yet another centuries-old internal struggle between violent radical Islamists and a murderous dictatorial regime, and we have no business getting involved anywhere without one. And where’s the legal consent of the people’s representatives? Our allies in Britain have already spoken. They just said no. The American people overwhelmingly agree, and the wisdom of the people must be heeded.

* Our Nobel Peace Prize winning President needs to seek Congressional approval before taking us to war. It’s nonsense to argue that, “Well, Bush did it.” Bull. President Bush received support from both Congress and a coalition of our allies for “his wars,” ironically the same wars Obama says he vehemently opposed because of lack of proof of America’s vital interests being at stake.

* Bottom line is that this is about President Obama saving political face because of his “red line” promise regarding chemical weapons.

As I said before, if we are dangerously uncertain of the outcome and are led into war by a Commander-in-chief who can’t recognize that this conflict is pitting Islamic extremists against an authoritarian regime with both sides shouting “Allah Akbar” at each other, then let Allah sort it out.

Mr. President…it all boils down to a matter of trust. And, the overwhelmingly majority of Americans simply do not trust you.

Until He Comes,

Our Anti-Christian, Anti-American, Bizarro World President

obamaegypt7613As I write this post, the Organizng for America,’s website, barackobama.com is being blown up by comments for Egyptian Citizens, protesting President Barack Hussein Obama’s support for the Islamic Terrorists, known as the Muslim Brotherhood.

I’m in solidarity with them.

If you have read any of my blogs at all, you know how I feel about the Manchurian President, Barack Hussein Obama. If I expressed my true feelings about the Communist Community Organizer living in OUR house at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue in Washington, DC, my web host would probably ban me…and, I would lose my witness. (That’s a Southern Baptist thing. Y’all may not understand.)

Anyway, I can prove all three of the adjectives I have used in the title of this Blog to describe the loser in the White House.

Obama could not care less about Christians, Americans or otherwise. Remember a few years ago, when he said that America was no longer just a Christian nation? Or, before that, while out fund-raising in front of a bunch of private donors, he spoke about us average Americans “clinging to their guns and Bibles”? Obama publicly claims to be a Christian. However, in “Dreams of My Father”, ghost written by Bomber Bill Ayers, he states that he will “stand with the Muslims if the [political] winds blow in an ugly direction”.

Well…it has. And..he is.

As you know, if you’re not living under a rock, like those guys in the Geico Commercial, the Muslim Brotherhood is rioting over in Egypt over being thrown out of power by Moderate Muslims, who want their country to move forward, not backward. like the Islamic Theocracy of Iran. While these esteemed purveyors of the Religion of Peace have been having their hissy fit, they have decided to take it out on…you guessed it…Egyptian Christians.

30 churches have been damaged or destroyed, mostly due to being set on fire. Additionally, Christian schools, libraries, shops, cars and businesses have also been attacked by the supporters and members of the Muslim Brotherhood.

Four Coptic Christians have been savagely murdered. The MB and their sycophants believe that Christians, who make up 10 per cent of the population, were partially responsible for Former President Morsi getting the heave-ho by the Egyptian Army, with the support of the Egyptian people. Threats and warnings have been written on the sides of churches, adding to the terror being perpetrated against them by the Islamists.

And, America’s Anti-Christian President has not said a mumbling word about it. In fact, it was his largess, using our tax dollars, that caused it.

On April 7, 2012, Andrew C. McCarty reported for National Review.com that

…the Obama administration quietly released $1.5 billion in foreign aid to the new Egyptian government, now dominated by a Brotherhood-led coalition in parliament — soon to be joined by an Ikhwan (i.e., Brotherhood) luminary as president.

…the Obama administration from its first days has embraced the Ikhwan — both the mothership, whose leaders were invited to attend Obama’s 2009 speech in Cairo despite its then-status as a banned organization under Egyptian law, and the Brotherhood’s American satellites, which have been invited to advise administration policymakers despite their notorious record of championing violent jihadists and repressive sharia.

Obama has overlooked the MB’s intimate ties to Hamas, which self-identifies as the Ikhwan’s Palestinian branch and is formally designated a terrorist organization under American law. Administration officials have absurdly portrayed the Brothers as “secular” and “moderate,” although the organization, from its founding in the 1920s, has never retreated an inch from its professed mission to establish Islam’s global hegemony.

So, despite the wishes of Congress, our idiot president gave our tax dollars to the Godfather of Muslim Terrorist Organizations, whose membership wants to behead each and every one of us Americans, and Christians the world over.

And, then, in January of this year,Fox News.com reported that

A source who works on the Naval Air Force Base in Dallas confirmed the departure of the state-of-the-art fighter planes to FoxNews.com. Sixteen F-16s and 200 Abrams tanks are to be given to the Egyptian government before the end of the year under a foreign aid deal signed in 2010 with then-Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak, a longtime U.S. ally..

Critics, including several in Congress, say it doesn’t make sense to follow through with the package, given that new Egyptian President Mohammed Morsi, elected last summer, has given decidedly mixed signals about relations with the U.S. While he has toned down his rhetoric since his election, in 2010 – the same year the aid package was struck – Morsi attacked Obama for supporting Israel.

So, not only did Obama send money to the Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt, he sent them overwhelmingly lethal weaponry, as well.

This is Smart Power? No, but it sure was against the best interests of our nation. It was an Anti-American action.

And, that’s where the Bizarro World part of the title comes in…

All average Americans, boys and girls, were brought up on Superman, whether through reading comic books, or watching television. As you know, Bizarro World is the home of “Bizarro”, a replica of Superman who does everything completely opposite of the way normal people do this. In fact, his entire world runs the same way

And, so it is with the Manchurian President. His words and actions, time and time again, are the exact opposite of what an American President would say or do.

On Thursday Morning, Obama made the following statement about the rioting by the Muslim Brotherhood and the Egyptian Government’s response to it.

Guess whose side our sitting American President took?

Let me begin by stepping back for a moment. The relationship between the United States and Egypt goes back decades. It’s rooted in our respect of Egypt as a nation, an ancient center of civilization, and a cornerstone for peace in the Middle East. It’s also rooted in our ties to the Egyptian people, forged through a longstanding partnership.

Just over two years ago, America was inspired by the Egyptian people’s desire for change as millions of Egyptians took to the streets to defend their dignity and demand a government that was responsive to their aspirations for political freedom and economic opportunity. And we said at the time that change would not come quickly or easily, but we did align ourselves with a set of principles: nonviolence, a respect for universal rights, and a process for political and economic reform. In doing so, we were guided by values but also by interests, because we believe nations are more stable and more successful when they’re guided by those principles as well.

And that’s why we’re so concerned by recent events. We appreciate the complexity of the situation. While Mohamed Morsi was elected President in a democratic election, his government was not inclusive and did not respect the views of all Egyptians. We know that many Egyptians, millions of Egyptians, perhaps even a majority of Egyptians were calling for a change in course. And while we do not believe that force is the way to resolve political differences, after the military’s intervention several weeks ago, there remained a chance for reconciliation and an opportunity to pursue a democratic path.

Instead, we’ve seen a more dangerous path taken through arbitrary arrests, a broad crackdown on Mr. Morsi’s associations and supporters, and now tragically the violence that’s taken the lives of hundreds of people and wounded thousands more.

The United States strongly condemns the steps that have been taken by Egypt’s interim government and security forces. We deplore violence against civilians. We support universal rights essential to human dignity, including the right to peaceful protest. We oppose the pursuit of martial law, which denies those rights to citizens under the principle that security trumps individual freedom, or that might makes right. And today the United States extends its condolences to the families of those who were killed and those who were wounded.

And given the depths of our partnership with Egypt, our national security interests in this pivotal part of the world and our belief that engagement can support a transition back to a democratically elected civilian government, we’ve sustained our commitment to Egypt and its people. But while we want to sustain our relationship with Egypt, our traditional cooperation cannot continue as usual when civilians are being killed in the streets and rights are being rolled back.

As a result, this morning we notified the Egyptian government that we are canceling our biannual joint military exercise which was scheduled for next month. Going forward I’ve asked my national security team to assess the implications of the actions taken by the interim government and further steps that we may take as necessary with respect to the U.S.-Egyptian relationship.

Let me say that the Egyptian people deserve better than what we’ve seen over the last several days. And to the Egyptian people, let me say the cycle of violence and escalation needs to stop. We call on the Egyptian authorities to respect the universal rights of the people. We call on those who are protesting to do so peacefully and condemn the attacks that we’ve seen by protesters, including on churches. We believe that the state of emergency should be lifted, that a process of national reconciliation should begin, that all parties need to have a voice in Egypt’s future, that the rights of women and religious minorities should be respected, and that commitments must be kept to pursue transparent reforms of the constitution and democratic elections of a parliament and a President.

To use an Internet Abbreviation…WTH?

Egyptians overthrew their burgeoning Radical Muslim Theocracy, in order to install a more Moderate, Democratic Pathway, in search of good, fair national government. What can’t Obama see this? Is he that stupid? Or, that devoted to “the Religion of Peace” that it has blinded him to reality? if so, Americans, we are totally scre…err…shafted. And, in the worst possible National Security Situation we could find ourselves in.

Evidently, Obama is either naive, or he’s in agreement with the stated mission of the Muslim Brotherhood.

Either choice means dangerous days ahead for our Constitutional Republic.

May the God of our Founding Fathers, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, protect and preserve us.

Until He Comes,

KJ
