The Thin Blue Line, the Men In Blue, who protect ordinary citizens, like you and me, from criminals and nut jobs, are under attack, caused by a wave of race-baiting, which reaches all the way to the White House.

The CBS Local Affiliate in New York City reports that

New Jersey’s state police union has issued an email alert to the group’s 33,000 members warning them to take extra caution after two NYPD officers were murdered.

New Jersey State PBA Executive Vice President Marc Kovar said in the email Sunday morning that all members and officers should take extra caution and change up routines in the coming weeks.

He cites heightened hostility from nationwide protests that he says has led to a “fever pitch of anti-police sentiment.”

“This open hostility has created more tense encounters with officers even on routine incidents such as motor vehicle stops,” the alert reads.

Kovar also advised officers to be vigilant for potential ambushes after two NYPD officers were ambushed and shot to death in Brooklyn Saturday.

As NJ.com reported, the Newark Police Department will take single officer-units off of the streets, according to the union president.

“The Newark Fraternal Order of Police is primarily concerned with the safety of the officers in the street,” James Stewart, the president of the union, said late Saturday. “In the climate we face today there is nothing more important. We are happy the Director agrees with our view and is putting the safety of the men and women in the street above all else.”

On Long Island, police in Nassau and Suffolk County will be taking precaution in the wake of the murders.

As Newsday reported, Suffolk County cops have been instructed ‘to maintain a heightened level of awareness,’ police said in a statement. There was not believed to be a specific threat.

Nassau County police will also be taking appropriate precautions, a spokesman said.

Police say 28-year-old Ismaaiyl Brinsley killed two officers in Bedford-Stuyvesant after vowing online to shoot two officers in retaliation for the police chokehold death of Eric Garner. Another police officer was shot and killed in Florida Sunday morning.

The union says officers should be alert for any interaction where someone may be looking for a confrontation.

There is concern out there that the craven coward who killed two of New York’s Finest may be the first of many soulless idiots, who have police officers in their murderous sights.

As I wrote yesterday, every race-baiter, local & national, who have fanned the flames of racial hatred, has the blood of these two police officers on their hands.

The Great American Broadcaster, the late Paul Harvey, was the son of a policeman who died in the line of duty. He wrote the following tribute for one of his daily updates…

“What is a policeman?

“A policeman is a composite of what all men are, I guess, a mingling of saint and sinner, dust and deity. What that really means is that they are exceptional, they are unusual. They are not commonplace. Buried under the froth is the fact, the fact is that less than one half of one percent of policeman misfit that uniform, and that is a better average than you’d find among clergymen.

“He of all men is at once the most needed, and the most wanted, a strangely nameless creature who is sir to his face and pig or worse behind his back. He must be such a diplomat that he can settle differences between individuals so that each will think he won, but, if a policeman is neat, he’s conceited, if he’s careless he’s a bum, if he’s pleasant, he’s a flirt, if he’s not, he’s a grouch.

“He must make instant decisions that would require months for a lawyer but if he hurries he’s careless, if he’s deliberate, he’s lazy. He must be first to an accident, infallible with diagnoses. He must be able to start breathing, stop bleeding, tie splints and above all, be sure the victim goes home without a limp.

“The police officer must know every gun, draw on the run and hit where it doesn’t hurt.

“He must be able to whip two men twice his size and half his age without damaging his uniform, and without being brutal. If you hit him he’s a coward, if he hits you, he’s a bully. The policeman from a single human hair must be able to describe the crime, the weapon the criminal, and tell you where the criminal is hiding but, if he catches the criminal he’s lucky, if he doesn’t he’s a dunce.

“He runs files and writes reports until his eyes ache to build a case against some felon who will get dealt out by some shameless shamus. The policeman must be a minister, a social worker, a diplomat, a tough guy, and a gentle man. And of course, he’ll have to be a genius, because he’ll have to feed a family on a policeman’s salary.”

So, why do we have so many out there who are calling for “dead cops”, while protesting over the deaths of criminals?

By the time President Johnson came into office, after the assassination of President John Fitzgerald Kennedy, the majority of Americans totally believed that our government always had our best interest at heart.

President Johnson came into office and immediately started his push for the Great Society. These programs were designed to make Americans even more dependent on the Federal Government for their very survival.

As the Vietnam War grew more and more and unpopular, Americans’ trust in the government became more and more compromised.  Protests against the Federal Government became more and more common and it became cool to be a rebel or “hippie”.

Time passed, and while rebellious Americans calmed down, Americans’ dependence upon government programs became generational, as multiple family members from one generation to the next, relied on Uncle Sugar for their daily existence.

Meanwhile, the rebels of the 1960’s got older and began to work within the system, taking jobs within the private and public sectors.

Eventually, they moved into positions of power, becoming heads of corporations and local and national politicians.

It is not really necessary to tell you what the political ideology of these rebels was, is it?

As the last century ended and the new one began, these hippies and their offspring, solidly in place in the halls of power, began to pass more more legislation designed to keep generations of Americans enslaved to Uncle Sugar.

In this present situation, what we are seeing is the result of anti-establishment rhetoric, spewed forth by those who are now actually “the Establishment”, taking hold, and spreading Class Envy and Racial Animus in such a way as to inspire violent retaliation for perceived “grievances”, by a fictional “White Establishment”, which is actually no longer in power, and the Police, who are seen as the emissaries of “The Man”.

Meanwhile, the Community Organizer-in-Chief is on vacation in Hawaii AT THE EXPENSE OF AMERICAN TAXPAYERS.

It’s reminiscent of Lenin and the Bolsheviks.
