Week One: The Agony of Activists and the Ecstacy of Patriots

As the first week of President Trump’s second term as President of the United States winds down, after a week that resembled a hurricane of promises kept, former Fox News Host Pete Hegseth has been confirmed as the Secretary of Defense.

While we still have one more day to go, Hegseth’s confirmation seems like a fitting cherry on top of what has been a first week of a Presidential Administration which has been a sweet dessert for a nation which has hungered for a real American President.

After being sworn in as President of the United States of America, Donald J Trump hit the ground running, first signing numerous Executive Orders, which undid horrendous actions taken by the previous administration.

Biden’s actions were meant to appease special interest groups, not the majority of Americans.

Some of Trump’s executive orders were meant to get America working again, getting our economy out of the porcelain receptacle, which the Biden Administration had flushed it down.

Yesterday, the President visited North Carolina and California, two states that have been devastated by disasters.

North Carolina was ravaged by Hurricane Helene and then ignored by the Biden Administration and the incompetent bureaucrats running FEMA.

The Pacific Palisades in California had been devastated by Santa Ana winds, which wrecked havoc in poorly managed forests, spreading to the suburbs through both natural means and arson.

The President told American citizens in both locations, after letting them speak their minds, that America has their back once again.

Meanwhile, Tom Holman and the agents of ICE were busy fulfilling the President’s campaign promise of deporting violent criminals who had broken into our country across our Southern border with other illegal aliens.

Hundreds of these criminals have already been deported back to their home countries.

Finally, former Fox and Friends host Major Pete Hegseth was confirmed by the Senate as our new Secretary of Defense.

It took Vice-President JD Vance casting the deciding vote in the Senate to break a tie between Republicans and Democrats due to the fact that Susan Collins and Lisa Murkowski, a couple of Democrats masquerading as Republicans, refused to vote for the decorated veteran.

This entire week has the Democrats so flummoxed and agitated that all they can do is scream, stomp their feet, and hold their breath until they turn blue.

President Donald J Trump has accomplished more in less than a week, than Joe Biden and his handlers in the Democrat Elite accomplished in 4 years.

However, one cannot call what they succeeded in doing to our country an accomplishment.

That is a fact no matter how Democratic talking heads and activists try to spin it.

If Americans were satisfied with their performance of the last 4 years, then political lightweight Kamala Harris would be our president.

Thank God that she is not.

The future is looking brighter for our country, fellow americans.

As a matter of fact, it’s looking brighter every day, as Donald J Trump has taken the reins of leadership and is stereing us in a direction toward prosperity, not only for us, but for our children and grandchildren to come.

God is good.

Countdown to Inauguration Day: Trump Wins the Army-Navy Game

“President-elect Trump took in the Army-Navy football game with a power posse that included his running mate, the world’s richest man, a host of cabinet hopefuls and a newly cleared subway hero from New York City.

The soon-to-be 47th president arrived at the 125th edition of the game Saturday at Northwest Stadium in Landover, Maryland, less than 15 miles from the White House. Trump was joined in a suite by his running mate, Vice President-elect JD Vance; Speaker of the House Mike Johnson; incoming Senate Majority Leader John Thune, Elon Musk, nominee for Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth, Tulsi Gabbard, Trump’s choice for director of national intelligence, and Daniel Penny, who was recently acquitted of charges in the death of subway menace Jordan Neely.” (Courtesy FoxNews.com)

There’s nothing unusual about the reception that President-elect Donald J Trump received at the Army Navy game.

The cadets and the Midshipmen have absolutely loved him every time he has attended.

The real story is his special guest, Daniel Penny, the brave Marine who stopped the crazy guy from killing people on that New York Subway only to be unjustly indicted and tried by Democrat Politician District Attorney Alvin Bragg.

President Trump was making a point yesterday.

We are America.

We believe and support our Brightest and Vest and honor their service to our country.

We are also a nation of law and order with a fair and impartial judicial system, ideally, that believes in justice for all.

That wasn’t an exercise in Justice, which Bragg launched against the Marine.

It was a political piece of lawfare, such as he’s been waging against President Trump.

Our legal system was never meant to be used for political lawfare against the political enemy of the political party holding power in Washington DC.

I believe that was one of the reasons why Trump received a mandate in the 2024 Presidential Election.

Americans are tired of seeing the Democrats use our Department of Justice as a bludgeon to beat down Donald J Trump and anybody else who dare to speak against them.

Just as their minions in the Legacy Media and the social media try to shout down average Americans, the Attorney General of the United States and all those under him tried to eliminate a threat to the Democrats’ power.

Just as Daniel Penny was trying to do the right thing and protect those people in that subway car from that psychopath, so is President Trump trying to protect us from our enemies domestically and abroad.

For some reason, there are those among us who have embraced evil and call it good and equitable.

The Bible said there were to be times like this.

I never thought that we would see these days, but I am glad that we have someone about to reenter the White House who will fight for average Americans who want to do the right thing like Daniel Penny did for those New Yorkers in that Subway car.

Countdown to Inauguration Day: Optimism, Anticipation, and a Miserable Washington Swamp

While watching clips from Fox Nation’s Patriot Awards, it struck me that Americans are actually becoming optimistic again.

After 4 years of failed leadership, the emphasizing of weakness instead of strength, and, quite frankly, perversion, instead of the things which made America the greatest country on the face of the Earth, Americans are beginning to see a light at the end of the tunnel and it’s not, for a change, an oncoming train.

Americans across the country are doing the dance that President-elect Donald J Trump does to the song “YMCA”.

Meanwhile, when they’re not blaming Biden for the political tsunami, which reelected Trump, the Democrat Elites are running around proclaiming that the sky is falling like Henny Penny in the children’s story.

The Democrats seem particularly upset that Trump is already working to fulfill the promises that he’s made to the American people.

That is to be expected because the Democrat Elite and Biden’s handlers did nothing for the American people except to make everybody more miserable.

Speaking of miserable, these Democrats and certain Establishment Republican Warhawks seem intent on fighting against Pete Hegseth, Trump’s choice for Secretary of Defense.

The reason for that is because Pete is an outsider, a straight shooter who doesn’t hobknob with the Democrat Elite and their, shall we say, “fellow travelers.”

Pete is not a warhawk.

He is a warrior.

A lot of Americans have come to Pete’s defense and have spoken about his faith in Jesus Christ.

I’m pretty sure that fact has gone straight over the heads of the Democrat Elite.

They don’t understand salvation and being born again.

Encased in a self-imposed bubble of political power in Washington, DC, these professional politicians and bureaucrats remain oblivious to the things that matter to average Americans.

All of the Democrat Elite, Establishment Republicans, and Deep State Bureaucrats need to understand and accept the fact that Trump was given a mandate by the American voters.

It’s time for them to work for the American people and not against them.

It’s a little over a month before President Trump will be inaugurated again.

Americans can see the sun beginning to come up over the horizon.

That is the reason for the growing optimism.

It will be Morning in America again.

Election Aftermath: “Anonymous Sources” Report That Democrats Haven’t Learned a Thing

11 days ago, American voters gave President-Elect Donald J Trump a mandate with an Electoral College Landslide and through winning the popular vote.

They also gifted him with a majority in the House of Representatives and the Senate.

Since then, the Democrat Elite and their minions in both Corporate Media and Social Media have experienced a meltdown bigger than even the one which they experienced after the 2016 defeat of Hillary  Clinton.

Adding to their hysteria, Trump and his team have hit the ground running, already selecting a majority of his cabinet and his administrative positions.

The cherry on top of the cake is the fact that Trump has chosen Washington outsiders and those on Capitol Hill who will have his back during his Administration.

In other words, he’s planning to throw the Bureacratic Bums out.

In the midst of their grief and loss of political power, the Democrat Elite are using perhaps the oldest method of trying to fight back against the Trump Landslide.

They have launched a war of propaganda, innuendo, and downright lies in order to disparage and stop Trump’s cabinet picks from being appointed.

They have called his pick for Attorney General, Matt Gaetz, a philanderer and a liar.

They have called his Secretary of Defense pick, Major Pete Hegseth, an unqualified Whie Supremist because he has a Jerusalem cross tattoo on his chest and a God’s will tattoo in Latin on his arm. Plus, they have accused him of some sort of sexual offense.

And, they have completely lost their minds over the selection of Robert F Kennedy Jr. as the Secretary of Health and Human Services.

Of course, before the election, they were all claiming that Trump is Hitler.

The irony is overwhelming.

Germany’s National Socialist Party (Nazis), under psychopath Adolf Hitler, came to power through the use of propaganda…lies which were told in order to vilify Jews and their political opposition.

His Minister of Propaganda, Josef Goebbels, believed that if you told a lie often enough, people would believe it to be the truth.

That is what the Democrats are attempting to do right now.

Through the phrase, “Anonymous Sources report that,” they are defaming Trump’s picks in a desperate ploy to maintain some sort of power over Americans.

The Democrat Elite lost the election overwhelmingly.

Instead of looking in the mirror and performing a self-assessment as to how far they have moved away in their socialist political ideology from average Americans who still believe in God and country, they are blaming the voters who voted against them, calling them ignorant, and are attacking their political appointments with the same ignorance and hate which they supposedly oppose.

Thank God that Americans aren’t listening and neither is President Trump. He knows these people that he and his team picked. That is why they picked them. He learned a lot during his first term as president.

So did American voters… as the Democrats found out on November 5th.

Fox News Bans Rudy Giuliani and Son From Appearing for Several Months…He Found Out on Eve of 9/11…Pete Hegseth Called to Apologize for Him Being “Bumped”

Newsmax.com reports that

Rudy Giuliani has been banned from appearing on Fox News for several months, and only learned of the “from the top” order on the eve of the 20th anniversary of the 9/11 terrorist attacks.

Son Andrew Giuliani, a New York gubernatorial candidate, has also been banned.

And former NYPD Commsissioner Bernie Kerik, a close adviser to Giuliani, is rarely booked on Fox News, Politico Playbook reports.

Rudy Giuliani and Kerik were prominent New York City leaders on 9/11 as mayor and NYPD commissioner.

“They’re not doing us any favors,” a Trump aide told Politico.

The rejection on hosting the Giulianis “comes from the top,” sources told Politico.

Fox began distancing itself from Giuliani shortly after Trump left office and in the wake of Dominion Voting Systems’ lawsuit against the network. The suit cited Giuliani’s appearances and statements made on Fox in its $1.6 billion defamation case.

Newsmax was also sued by Dominion over its election coverage, but the network continues to have Giuliani, his son, and Kerik on as guests.

“Rudy is really hurt because he did a big favor for Rupert [Murdoch, founder of Fox News’ parent company],” a source close to Giuliani told the outlet. “He was instrumental in getting Fox on Time Warner so it could be watched in New York City.”

Rudy Giuliani learned of being bumped from Fox News on the eve of this 9/11 anniversary, with “Fox & Friends” host Pete Hegseth having to call to apologize for being cut from the show, according to the report.

Kerik was reportedly also un-booked from “Fox & Friends” on 9/11.

“I could not have been more disappointed with the Fox coverage on the 20th anniversary of Sept. 11,” Kerik said in a statement to Politico. “Then they chose to intentionally ignore Mayor Giuliani who was, and who, according to their own coverage for the last two decades, was America’s hero on the day and in the aftermath of the attack.

“Regardless of reasoning, I think this was another demonstration of Fox’s cowering to the far left.”

A source close to Giuliani tells Newsmax that the former mayor and his circle view their banishment from Fox as part of the network’s strategy to reduce and restrict Trump’s influence in the Republican party.

Marshall McLuhan once wrote that

The media is the message.

Well, in the past couple of decades, the Main Stream Media has become not just the message, but also judge, jury, and political executioner.

And, unfortunately, thanks to the influence of the Liberal daughter-in-laws of Rupert Murdoch, Fox News began overcompensating to the Left in keeping its programming “fair and balanced”.

Daily diatribes from Juan Williams, the now-departed Shep Smith, Donna Brazile, and Chris Wallace made me more than once turn the channel to reruns of…well…just about anything.

Then, came the night of the 2020 Presidential Election.

Fox News stripped away its veneer of “Fair and Balanced” to join CNN and MSNBC as servants of the Democratic Party.

That was not a very smart move.

And, they have been making mind-blowingly stupid moves ever since.

However, this one is the cherry on top of an ice cream sundae of Cable News Channel Programming Stupidity.

I’m so old that I remember when Fox News Channel was not a member of the Main Stream Media.

According to the Old Testament Book of Proverbs,

“Pride goeth before destruction and an haughty spirit before a fall.”

That scripture has never been truer than in the case of Fox News.

Americans have noticed that Fox News has been traveling in a Liberal direction ever since Rupert Murdoch left the running of the channel to his sons.

There are more Liberal Pundits and Anchors on Fox News than there have ever been in its history.

And, those who were not known until recently to be Liberal seem to be relishing the opportunity to drive away the audience which made Fox News Channel number one in the ratings for many, many years.

What is maddening to me is the fact that Former President Trump went out of his way to be kind to them, helping their ratings over his time in office through live phone calls and exclusive interviews, including one morning when he made a spontaneous appearance on “Fox and Friends”, consenting to a live on-the-spot interview with Steve Doocy.

So, why has Fox News repeatedly bitten the hand that feeds them?

Poor management.

The change in political viewpoint at Fox News has to be the worst marketing decision since “New Coke”.

And, just like New Coke, it has left a bitter taste in the mouths of millions of Americans.

So, are the powers-that-be at FNC bright enough to apologize to the millions of Americans who made them number one in the cable news ratings for years and made them all wealthy in the process?

Heck no.

They just keep doubling down on stupid, like AOC at a MENSA Meeting.

Fox News not only jumped the shark…they continue to gleeful feed the crocodile known as the Democratic Party , along with the “Never-Trumper” Wing of the Republican Party, hoping that it will eat them last.

Their arrogance is exceeded only by their stupidity.

Will A Fox and Friends Host Be The Next Secretary of Veterans Affairs?

As every American who turns on the local news in the morning knows, President Trump is making some major changes to his Cabinet and Administrative Staff.

According to TheHill.org, one of those who might be involved is the current Secretary of Veteran Affairs, David Shulkin.

…Shulkin, the Veterans Affairs secretary, was the subject of a blistering inspector general report that found he misspent taxpayer money on lavish travel for himself and his wife. Shulkin has also been clashing with Trump’s political appointees, and many close to the White House believe it’s only a matter of time before he’s gone.

“The president has a large number of individuals that are working hard to make sure that the V.A. is helping veterans as at the best level possible,” Sanders said Thursday. “We continue to review if there is anything we can do to improve on this…I don’t have any personnel announcements but we’re looking for how to better the system every day. Whether it is through policy or personnel changes, not just at the top but across the board, we made a number of changes within the personnel and we’re making sure we’re looking at how to best serve our nation’s veterans.”

What’s interesting about this is one of the candidates whom the President is considering for the job.

According to dailycaller.com,

Veterans advocate and Fox News contributor Pete Hegseth met with GOP President-elect Donald Trump Tuesday morning for the position of secretary of veterans affairs, a source familiar with the nature of the meeting told The Daily Caller News Foundation.

The transcript of the Trump transition team call both Monday and Tuesday noted that Hegseth was set to meet with Trump Tuesday, though Sean Spicer, communications director for the Republican National Committee, did not provide any details on the meeting. Spicer did, however, flub Hegseth’s title.

In the call, Spicer referred to Hegseth as the current CEO of Concerned Veterans for America, a policy organization focused on veterans issues. Hegseth resigned from that post in January after serving in that role since July, 2012.

After the meeting, Hegseth could be seen in an Associated Press photo exiting Trump Tower in Manhattan with a copy of Concerned Veterans for America’s Fixing Veterans Health Care Task Force policy proposal for Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) reform in hand.

Hegseth, himself an Army veteran, backed Trump during his campaign and openly criticized the Obama administration over its treatment of veterans.

As part of the Army National Guard, Hegseth deployed to Guantanamo Bay and to Iraq, where he served in the 101st Airborne Division, and then once to Afghanistan as a counterinsurgency trainer.

“He’s remained very vocal on veterans’ issues and has continued to be a big ally in the fight to reform the VA,” Dan Caldwell, vice president of policy and communications at Concerned Veterans for America, told The DCNF.

“While he was at CVA, he helped grow the organization into what it is now and played a key role in developing our comprehensive VA reform proposal and also helped develop some of the legislation we supported to make it easier to fire bad VA employees,” Caldwell added.

By the way, Pete Hegseth achieved the rank of Major during his service to our country, a title by which Geraldo Rivera addresses him when he is hosting a segment of Fox and Friends which Geraldo is appearing in.

So, what is that proposal that Pete, as he is known to all who watch Fox News as, helped develop?

Its entitled the “Caring for Our Heroes in the 21st Century Act.” And, according to the CVA Website, the proposal consists of the following…

RESTRUCTURING THE VETERANS HEALTH ADMINISTRATION

The legislation does several things. First, it separates the VA’s payer and provider functions to ensure that veterans can receive timely care of their choosing. The payer function will be administered by a new office within the VA, and the brick-and-mortar medical centers and clinics will be managed by a government-chartered nonprofit corporation. Veterans will be able to use the same clinics, see the same doctors, with the only difference being how those clinics and doctors are managed.

EXPANDING VETERANS’ HEALTH CARE CHOICES

The proposal would also offer a premium support model for veterans who wish to receive their care from a non-VA provider. This support will be fiscally responsible and offer every veteran a true choice. Enrolled veterans over the age of 65, and those who qualify for Medicare due to disability, would gain the option of using their VA funds to defray the costs of Medicare premiums and supplemental coverage.

MONITORING THE PROGRESS OF VETERANS’ HEALTH REFORM

The legislation also establishes a board of directors to oversee operations of the nonprofit government corporation managing delivery of care and advise the VA on further reforms, and also an advisory commission, a nonpartisan legislative agency, to implement the legislation. Congress would also maintain oversight and funding roles.

Conclusion

Ultimately, this reform would be a solution for the issues listed above. It would offer veterans real choice, enable better access and timely delivery of care, and give VA employees an incentive to pursue accountability. The only question is whether Congress will side with veterans, or whether it will allow special interests and entrenched bureaucrats to determine how we as a nation treat our heroes in this century.

The responsibility for everything that happens to the men and women serving in our Armed Forces, in which some part of our federal government is involved, both during and after their service, falls on the shoulders of the President of the United States of America and whomever he chooses to be his Secretary of Veterans Affairs.

There is not a more important position in the President’s Cabinet than this one, as we saw throughout the tenure of the previous occupier of the Oval Office.

Barack Hussein Obama was more intent on granting amnesty to illegal aliens and bringing Syrian Muslims to our shores than looking after those who had risked their very lives under his command, only to come home to a Veterans Administration, in which the hospitals were ill-managed and in which much-needed assistance, both medical and social, was very hard to come by.

This mistreatment of our Brightest and Best, whom Obama viewed as subjects for Social Experimentation, happened throughout the long, arduous 8 years of what was a nightmare of a Presidency.

The Great Communicator, President Ronald Reagan, used to famously quip that the nine words that you never want to hear were

I’m from the Government and I’m here to help.

With all the love and respect that our Present Commander-in-Chief has shown our Armed Forces, I am certain, as he stated, that he wants the best treatment available for our Veterans.

I believe that the proposal from the Concerned Veterans For America makes a while lot of sense.

And, I think that Major Pete Hegseth would not only make an excellent Secretary of Veteran Affairs, but he would be just the man to make sure that our Brightest and Best receive the outstanding care and treatment which they so richly deserve for their willingness to serve our country.
