In France, people had shaken their heads in disbelief upon the announcement of a new war with Germany. This would be their third major war against the Germans in the last 70 years. Their grandfathers had fought the war of 1870-71, which the French had lost. Their fathers had fought the First World War from 1914-18. And now this.

The great problem for France was that civilian indifference toward this new war was shared by rank and file soldiers of the French Army.

The French officer corps also had its problems. Senior army leaders had witnessed first-hand the horrific carnage of World War I when men died by the tens of thousands, sometimes hundreds of thousands, during battles of attrition at places like Verdun. Haunted by this legacy, they cautiously committed the entire French Army to a defensive posture this time around, thereby passing up the chance to take quick action that could have drastically changed the course of this new war.

With the German Army entirely preoccupied in Poland, the French had a huge numerical and tactical advantage on Germany’s western border. A hundred well-equipped French divisions stood in place all along the border, while Hitler had just 23 lightly equipped divisions set up as a defensive screen to hold them back. At this point, a French thrust into western Germany targeting the military industries of the Ruhr Valley would have, at the very least, disabled the German war machine by curtailing armaments production, the lifeblood of Hitler’s Army.

Instead, the French held their positions, content to rely on a series of newly built steel and concrete fortifications known as the Maginot Line to ward off a potential German invasion. Four British divisions soon joined the French and also stood by on the defensive. Like the French, the British were commanded by cautious generals who had survived the blood-stained battlefields of World War I.

Worse for the French, the country was beset by bitter and disruptive political in-fighting which caused government leaders to become indecisive at a moment of great national peril. Closely watching all of this, Hitler correctly concluded France’s political leadership, officer corps, and soldiers, really didn’t have the stomach for a fight this time around.  – historyplace.com

…Paul Reynaud and his government now left the French capital and moved to Tours. On 14th June, the Germans occupied Paris. Reynaud now realized that the German offensive could not be halted and suggested that the government should move to territories it owned in North Africa. This was opposed by his vice-premier, Henri-Philippe Petain, and the supreme commander of the armed forces, General Maxime Weygand. They insisted that the government should remain in France and seek an armistice.

Outvoted, Reynaud resigned and President Albert Lebrun, appointed Petain as France’s new premier. He immediately began negotiations with Adolf Hitler and on 22nd June signed an armistice with Germany. The terms of the agreement divided France into occupied and unoccupied zones, with a rigid demarcation line between the two. The Germans would directly control three-fifths of the country, an area that included northern and western France and the entire Atlantic coast. The remaining section of the country would be administered by the French government at Vichy under Marshal Henri-Philippe Petain.

Other provisions of the armistice included the surrender of all Jews living in France to the Germans. The French Army was disbanded except for a force of 100,000 men to maintain domestic order. The 1.5 million French soldiers captured by the Germans were to remain prisoners of war. The French government also agreed to stop members of its armed forces from leaving the country and instructed its citizens not to fight against the Germans. A third of French voters declined to choose between centrist Emmanuel Macron and far-right leader Marine Le Pen in Sunday’s presidential election, either abstaining or spoiling their ballots — a record rate in nearly half a century.According to official results with more than 80 percent of votes counted, the abstention rate stood at 24.52 percent — the highest since the presidential election in 1969.

In addition, the interior ministry reported a record number of blank and invalid ballots, accounting for nine percent of all registered voters, compared to two percent in the first round.

“That would make a total of one French person out of three who decided not to choose between the two candidates. It’s really a lot for a presidential election,” Anne Jadot, political science professor at the University of Lorraine, told AFP.

Macron claimed a thumping victory Sunday with some 65 percent of the vote, but it was the first time since the 1969 election that participation in the second round has been lower than in the first, which saw him and Le Pen go through to the run-off as the highest-scoring candidates.

“The presence of the far-right in the second round did not prompt a lot of mobilisation compared to the first round, in contrast to what happened in 2002,” Jadot said in reference to the election where Le Pen’s father Jean-Marie saw voters of all stripes mobilise to block him by backing his opponent, conservative Jacques Chirac.

That election saw a dip in the abstention rate to 20.3 percent.

But this year, “there wasn’t the ‘shock’ effect, because (Marine Le Pen’s) presence was expected,” Jadot said.

Casting a blank ballot — traditionally used by disgruntled French voters as a protest vote — usually increases in the second round.

But this year it went as far as to quadruple, thanks in part to an unprecedented situation of neither the two mainstream left-leaning or right-leaning parties making it to the run-off.

Remember the part in the first cited quote which I presented, where it said that “The great problem for France was that civilian indifference toward this new war was shared by rank and file soldiers of the French Army”?

That indifference eventually required other nations to join together to defeat France’s Nazi Invaders in a battle which sacrificed almost a quarter of a million brave young men.

D-Day, also called the Battle of Normandy, was fought on June 6, 1944, between the Allied nations and German forces occupying Western Europe. To this day, 70 years later, it  still remains the largest seaborne invasion in history. Almost three million troops crossed the English Channel from England to Normandy to be used as human cannon fodder in an invasion of occupied France.

There has never been an exact count of the sacrifices made on D-Day. Although, it is estimated that more than 425,000 Allied and German troops were killed, wounded, or went missing during the battle. 209,000 of those who lost their lives were Allied forces. In addition to almost 200,000 German troops killed or wounded, the Allies also captured 200,000 soldiers. Captured Germans were sent to American prisoner-of-war camps at the rate of 30,000 per month, from D-Day until Christmas 1944. Between 15,000 and 20,000 French civilians were killed during the battle.

Today, France is no longer in danger of an invasion of German Nazis.

Instead, their invasion has begun from within.

France has a history of decades of Islamic Extremism.

It has pursued an immigration plan of assimilation with the Muslims entering France, often winding up with them being “placed” in slums and depressed areas of France, which have led to their radicalization at the hands of willing mentors.

The Terrorist Organization known as ISIS has sought out those disgruntled Muslims in  France and has used them as tools to both polarize and terrorize the French Citizenry.

On one side, you have average Frenchmen, who are worried about the continued sovereignty of their nation. On the other side, you have France’s Liberals, who, like their ancestors before them in the years before the Nazi Invasion of France are indifferent to the growing threat around them.

By electing the “Teacher’s Pet Moderate” Macron, the French have set the scene for another takeover of their country.

Only, this time, there won’t be any allies sacrificing their brave young men to win back their Sovereign Nation when they lose it to a bunch of Barbaric Invaders.

President Barack Hussein Obama And The Halfway War (A KJ Op Ed)

AFBrancoBombingIsis1032014Everybody remembers how Barack Hussein Obama gained the Presidency of the United States by promising “Hope and Change”. Obama promised to “radically change” our nation into his “personal vision” of a kinder and gentler place, where everyone would be equal in the marketplace and everyone would get their “fair share”. Now, six and one-half years later, America is suffering through a stagnant economy, in which a record 92,600,000 Americans have dropped out of our workforce.

But, that’s a story for another blog.

In today’s blog, I want to talk about Obama’s Foreign Policy, a Foreign Policy which began with Obama going on a World Apology Tour, in which he apologized for the greatest country in the world, the United States of America, the country which is he was supposed to be championing, not degrading. He concluded his apology tour in July of 2009, with the biggest apology ever seen in the history of mankind.

In a stadium located at the University of the Egypt in Cairo, President Barack Hussein Obama, in a speech to the “Muslim World”, apologized to tens of thousands of adherents  to Islam and spoke to them in glowing terms of their “rich cultural heritage” and their “contributions to the growth of United States of America”.

Yeah, our first president, Mohammed Washington, that’s the ticket.

Now, before I go off on one my world famous KJ rants, I want you to understand that I am NOT saying that every Muslim in the world is taking part in a jihad against United States of America.

However, that sure was not a Southern Baptist, who beheaded that poor unfortunate lady in Oklahoma the other day.

Additionally, the mass murderers known as ISIS, are not Evangelical Christians, no matter how hard desperate Liberals might try to compare us to Radical Muslims.

“Now are you going to accept Jesus Christ as your personal Savior or am I going to have to behead you?” said no Evangelical Christian American, ever.

No, boys and girls, ISIS is a bunch of Muslim Barbarians…period.

For President Barack Hussein Obama to attempt to prosecute this war by remote control, with apparently no military strategy in place at all, is one the silliest things I’ve ever seen in my life.

As has been noted by several military analysts, eventually, Obama is going to have to put troops on the ground. That is, additional troops to the troops which he already has on the ground in the role of  “military advisors”.

Meanwhile, Obama’s bombing runs are doing minimal damage, at best.

The fact of the matter is, you cannot bomb buildings and expect to kill your enemy, when the enemy is a guerrilla force, which  does not stay in any building for any period of time. Just like their Nomadic Barbaric Ancestors, these guerrillas keep moving, regrouping, and attacking.

Obama had hoped that his “Coalition of the Unwilling”, the Middle Eastern Muslim Nations , who reluctantly agreed to support Obama against ISIS, would be willing to be his “boots on the ground” and would lay down their lives for him.

I am still trying to figure out how Obama could have possibly thought that those who think of us as the Great Satan, would lay down their lives for us.

Of course, Obama also thinks that if  Iran promises not to build a nuke, they won’t build it.

This situation, that we are currently facing, can be traced back to Obama’s premature evacuation of Iraq.

Leon Panetta, Obama’s Former Secretary of Defense, has recently come out with a book, in which he states that the leaders of Iraq wanted us to leave a residual force there, but President Obama refused to for the sake of political expediency and partisan praise.

It is no secret that Barack Hussein Obama is a vain and petulant man. It is also no secret that he was a Far Left Radical in his collegiate days and his early political career, only moving to the middle of the political spectrum while he was campaigning for the presidency.

That being said, my Daddy always told me that when you do something, don’t do it halfway. Give it your best effort or don’t do it at all, or else you will come up short. That is what is happening with this war against the Islamic radicals in Iraq.

Obama has never liked the Military Industrial Complex. After all, he is disciple of Karl Marx and Saul Alinsky. Additionally, Obama spent his youth going to a Muslim school in Indonesia, where he was surrounded by children of wealthy Muslims, whose parents were part of the establishment in Jakarta.

Because of his political ideology and the time he spent among Jakarta’s Upper Crust, Obama is very naive, or at least, he seems to be, about those Muslims who aren’t as cultured as he and his friends were. In fact, he seems to be quite ignorant about the Muslim practice of taquiyya, in which it is permissible for Muslims to lie to infidels in order to achieve their mission.

Could Obama’s “Coalition of the Unwilling”, consisting of Middle Eastern Muslims, be practicing taquiyya? Could it be that arming the Syrian rebels was a very stupid thing to do? Could it be that it is time for Obama to quit this halfway waging of War and to go ahead and send in ground troops and take care of business ourselves?

The answer to all of the above questions is…YES.

Especially the last one…For the safety of our nation.

Vichy Republican Thad Cochran Wins Mississippi Primary Run-off With Black Democratic Votes

conservative1The term “carpetbaggers” was used in the South after the Civil War to describe Northerners who came to the South during Reconstruction to make money off of the defeated and disadvantaged populace.

Southerners regarded them as interlopers who were just passing through because of the carpetbags in which they carried their possessions (hence the name carpetbaggers).

The majority of the carpetbaggers planned on settling down in the South and taking advantage of the war-ravaged South and the commercial opportunities that Reconstruction offered.

History has made the term carpetbagger synonymous with corruption in political affairs.

Unfortunately, America now has a new group of carpetbaggers profiting from our national misery.

WashingtonPost.com reports that

Cochran outperformed his vote totals from the primary election three weeks ago in many parts of Mississippi and he held a lead throughout the night. With 99 percent of precincts reporting, Cochran beat McDaniel 50.9 percent to 49.1 percent. They were separated by about 6,600 votes out of more than 372,000 cast.

Cochran relied heavily on boosting voter turnout in the runoff among not only mainstream Republicans but also black Democrats, whom his campaign and its allies aggressively courted in the final days of the campaign.

The contest between the entrenched Cochran and the more combative and youthful McDaniel divided the Republican Party here in one of the nation’s most conservative states and delivered a stinging blow to the tea party movement.

In a bitter and angry speech to supporters in Hattiesburg late Tuesday, McDaniel refused to concede and said, “we are not prone to surrender.” He cited “voting irregularities” and thundered that the “Republican primary [was] decided by liberal Democrats.”

“We’re not done fighting,” McDaniel vowed.

In nearly every Mississippi county, voter turnout was up over the inconclusive June 3 primary. But precinct totals show it was substantially higher in heavily African American areas. In the 24 counties with a majority black population, turnout increased by 39.4 percent, giving Cochran a big edge.

For example, in densely populated Hinds County, which includes the capital of Jackson, turnout was up nearly 50 percent over the June 3 primary and Cochran beat McDaniel by nearly 11,000 votes.

McDaniel, who had been backed by the money and manpower of the tea party movement, was hoping to channel the anti-establishment fervor of Mississippi Republican activists. He had the momentum heading into the runoff, but Cochran, a 36-year member of the Senate, gambled that stressing his seniority in Washington and his long history of procuring largess for this poor state.

So says the Liberal Yankee Newspaper.

As the halcyon days of the Reagan Administration passed by, and time moved on, the Republican Party slowly, but surely, began to distance themselves from us rubes living out here in America’s Heartland, otherwise known as “Flyover Country”.

And, as they became more isolated from the people they were supposed to be serving, they started losing elections. Sure, Dubya was elected for two terms (Thank God.), but, can you imagine either Al Gore or John Kerry as President? Without throwing up, that is?

With the election of Barack Hussein Obama (mm mmm mmmm), and with the Democrats controlling both the House and Senate,this nation was taken on a madcap plunge toward socialism faster than Elvis going down the last hill on the Zippin Pippin at the old Mid-South Fairgrounds.

And then, Americans stood up on their hind legs and started the TEA Party Movement.

Obama and the Democrats, and the Status Quo-loving Establishment Republicans, could not believe their eyes. “What was this mess? How dare these sheep break away from the flock!”

While Obama and the Democrats attacked us every which-way they could think us, accusing us of RAAACIIISM, carrying guns to rallies, etc., the “Moderate” Republicans, played it very cagey. They used the TEA Party during the months leading up to the 2010 Mid-terms, to get themselves elected, and win back the House of Representatives, on the promise that they would govern “Conservatively”.

Allow me to pause for a moment and say this: I am not speaking about actual Reagan Conservatives and TEA Party Members like Sarah Palin, Ted Cruz, Mike Lee, and sometimes, Rand Paul. I am speaking of those Vichy Republicans, like John Boehner, Mitch McConnell, John McCain, Mitt Romney, Paul Ryan, Eric Cantor, and Marco Rubio, who should just switch parties, and get it over with.

In the two years since the TEA Party propelled them to victory in the Mid-terms, the Establishment Republicans, who rode our coat tails back to the Halls of Power, have increasingly treated us badly, at first, shunning Conservatives like we were red-headed step-children, and now, insulting and degrading us like we are lepers…or their enemy.

And now, with Obama failing miserably, tanking in every single Popularity Poll, making about as much sense as a punch-drunk boxer, the Republicans appear ready to commit mass seppuku (hari kari), as I wrote yesterday, “snatching defeat out of the jaws of victory” by pushing for Amnesty for illegal aliens, in order to supply their Big Money Donors, in the US Chamber of Commerce, with cheap labor.

As our forefathers experienced, we are presently under the thumb of a government, which is traveling in an opposite course from the overwhelming majority of its citizens. What makes our present situation intolerable, is the fact that , those who believe that they are “over us”, were actually chosen by us, to be our public servants.

These “Public Servants”, through the corruption of power and avarice, have become a New Aristocracy, answerable, or so they believe, only to themselves.

Which is what just happened in Mississippi. With help from fellow Vichy Republican John McCain, Professional Politician Thad Cochran accomplished a Pyrrhic victory in the Mississippi Republican Run-off.

Now, the Vichy Republicans will cry out for unity, expecting Mississippi Conservatives to vote for Cochran in November, running back to them, like an abused wife runs back to her brutish lout of a husband.

Self-serving arrogance and corruption is the same, no matter what side of the political aisle it is practiced on.

We have an opportunity in front of us, Americans…and choices to make. We can either throw off this Marxist-inspired, tyranny and corruption, which we find ourselves under, relying only on our own limited devices, or we can return to the Faith of our Fathers, the Divine Providence which secured our AMERICAN FREEDOM for us in the first place. History has shown us what happens when men endeavor to strike out on our own: We usually wind up back under the tyranny of men, instead of the Sovereignty of God.

God has given us a remarkable system of government. We have the opportunity in 2014, to “muck out the stalls” in Washington, DC. Our “hoses,shovels, and brooms” will consist of the tools given to us by our Creator, enumerated in our Founding Documents: Freedom of Speech, Freedom to Assemble, and the Right to Vote.

Do you remember what happened in November of 2010?

Americans, through a groundswell movement, which became known as the Tea Party, named so in honor of the American Revolution, changed the make-up of Congress.

What we did not count on, was the fact that

Absolute Power Corrupts Absolutely.

Hence, it is time to begin a New Tea Party Movement, not just relying on our own limited devices, but, as our Founding Fathers before us,

with a firm reliance on the protection of divine Providence, we mutually pledge to each other our Lives, our Fortunes and our sacred Honor.
