Judging by Americans’ Actual Reactions to the Dems’ “Inquiry”, It Should be a Good Day for Trump…Will Today’s State Elections Be a Predictor of 2020?

68715036-b02c-4351-890c-a67b484ad753-VPC_TRUMP_MS_RALLY_desk

FoxNews.com reports that

At a rally on friendly turf in Kentucky Monday night, President Trump urged what he called an “angry majority” of voters to send a powerful “signal” to Democrats and the world by handing the GOP a big victory not only in Tuesday’s gubernatorial race there, but also in the pivotal upcoming statewide elections in Virginia, Mississippi, and Louisiana.

The result of the showdown in Kentucky — as well as Tuesday’s gubernatorial race in Mississippi and state legislature races in Virginia — could serve as a barometer this week on whether Trump still has the ability to rally Republicans at the voting booth amid Democrats’ ongoing impeachment inquiry. Top Democrats have acknowledged that Trump’s influence helped the GOP sweep key House special elections in North Carolina in September.

Amid chants of “USA” at Monday’s rally, Trump repeatedly sought to leverage his accomplishments in office, including energy independence and historically low unemployment rates, to boost Gov. Matt Bevin.

At one point, Trump reminded the audience that American special forces had just provided “the world’s number-one terrorist a one-way ticket to hell,” in a colorful reference to the now-dead Islamic State leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi.

“The dog will be coming very shortly to the White House!” Trump remarked, shouting-out the elite canine that helped take down Baghdadi.

The president stood in front of throngs of attendees wearing “Read the transcript!” shirts — a reference to the White House’s readout of Trump’s July call with Ukraine’s leader, which has prompted Democrats to begin an impeachment inquiry even as Republicans insisted the conversation was benign.

“The Democrats are trying to tear our country apart,” Trump said, noting that partisans had pushed the “Russia hoax” and the “Mueller scam. … And then, Mr. Mueller testified. That was a wonderful day — for me,” referencing testimony from the former special counsel.

Calling The Washington Post “disgusting,” Trump noted that the paper had reported that impeachment was coming — just 19 minutes after he took office. (“At the moment the new commander in chief was sworn in, a campaign to build public support for his impeachment went live,” the Post’s piece read.)

Trump asserted that Democrats were “crazy” and obsessed with Russian conspiracy theories, noting that Hillary Clinton claimed presidential candidate Tulsi Gabbard, also a Democrat, was being “groomed” to be a “Russian asset.”

To sustained applause, the president also introduced Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell, a fellow Republican, as a hero who “refused to cave to the left-wing mob” during the confirmation hearings of now-Associate Justice Brett Kavanaugh.

McConnell is up for re-election in 2020 against Amy McGrath, whom Trump dismissed as an “extreme liberal” who inartfully compared the president’s 2016 win to the Sept. 11, 2001 terrorist attacks.

“Thank you, Mr. President, for making America great again,” McConnell said when he took the microphone. “We’re changing the federal courts forever.”

Later at the rally, Kentucky GOP Sen. Rand Paul called on the Ukraine whistleblower to testify, saying he was biased and that Democrats are trying to hide his identity from view.

“I say to the media: Do your job and print his name,” Paul said, referring to the whistleblower.

Paul also slammed Hunter Biden for obtaining lucrative roles with companies despite having no relevant expertise while his father, as senator and vice president, pushed legislation affecting those companies.

As the rally continued, Trump hammered “Sleepy Joe” Biden as an inept elderly man whose “handlers” lived in a state of perpetual fear of the next big gaffe. He also echoed Paul’s assertion that the Bidens were corrupt, saying the real “quid pro quo” was the money that the younger Biden received to curry influence with his powerful father.

“America is not for sale — and we’re more determined than ever to drain the swamp,” Trump said. “A lot of bad things are going to be revealed.”

On health care, Trump vowed to protect those with “pre-existing conditions” by preserving their “pre-existing physicians” — a quip that the president said he coined on the spot. (President Obama had vowed, falsely, that his health care plan would allow everyone to “keep” their doctors; and Elizabeth Warren and Bernie Sanders each have pushed for “Medicare-for-all,” a government-led heath care takeover.)

“Every child is a sacred gift from God,” Trump added, saying Democrats are now the party of “late-term abortion.”

…”Faith and family, not government and bureaucracy,” the president asserted, were the foundation of the country and the principles that would carry the GOP to victory on Tuesday.

…Daniel Cameron, the GOP nominee for Kentucky attorney general, tied the election to Democrats’ ongoing impeachment inquiry against the president — and told voters they should send a specific message to House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif.

“This is our president, and we’ll never let you take him away from this country,” Cameron said.

By the way, Daniel Cameron is a Conservative American…who happens to be black.

The above article is right.

Todaygubernatorial races will be used by the Main Stream Media and the Political Pundits who appear on it as a future portent of how the 2020 Presidential Election could go.

After the way Democrats have behaved since they regained control of the House of Representatives, I am looking for the Republicans to do very well in all of the state elections today.

The Democrats learned nothing at all from the 2016 Presidential Election.

I tried to watch Hispanic Activist and DNC Chairman Tom Perez on Martha McCollum’s Fox News Program before they cut away to the MAGA Rally.

I had to turn the sound off.

That clown lied the entire time he was on the show while avoiding answering McCollum’s direct questions, even after she repeatedly called him on it.

During the interview, she brought up Fox News’s current Democrat-heavy poll results which showed that 49% of those polled wanted President Trump impeached.

If you believe that, you don’t get out much.

Last week, a reporter from “Meet The Press” did Man of the Street Interviews with Americans about how they felt the Democrats were doing.

All of those interviews which they showed featured Americans who stated that they were against impeaching the President and they also stated that the House Democrats were acting like spoiled children and need to “get back to work”.

The Democrats are between a rock and a hard place.

The “Impeachment Inquiry” is, in reality, wearing then of average Americans between the coasts. You know, those of us whom Hillary Clinton called “Deplorables” because we did not buy her B.S. and voted for Trump.

Also, none of the Democratic Party’s present Primary Candidates stand a snowball’s chance in July of beating President Trump…and Hillary Clinton would face a landslide defeat should she foolishly decide to enter the race at the last minute.

It would behoove the Democrats if they dropped their Soviet-style “Impeachment Inquiry” and actually attempted to do something worthwhile for the American people.

At least then, they would be defeated for the Presidency while showing some class…

…instead of going down in history as temper tantrum throwing, Marxism-loving poor losers.

Oh, well…

It’s their (political) party. They can cry if they want to.

You would cry too, if (you were a self-serving, power-hungry professional politician and) it happened to you.

Hoyer Says “Sure” to Trump SOTU…Is a Rebellion Brewing in the House?

your-world-with-neil-cavuto-12219-neil-cavuto-breaking-news-today-january-22-2019

There are signs that House Speaker Pelosi’s firm grip on the Democrats in the House of Representatives may be beginning to weaken.

A group of centrist House Democrats, sick of political posturing, is pressing Speaker Nancy Pelosi to counter Trump’s immigration proposal with her own potential compromise. The group, led by freshman Rep. Elaine Luria of Virginia, is asking the California Democrat to offer Trump a vote on his border wall or some sort of negotiated security package in February if he first signs a bill reopening the federal government, according to a draft of the letter obtained by POLITICO.

…It is unclear how many Democrats have signed on to the letter, but multiple senior Democratic aides downplayed the draft missive, suggesting their party is sticking together in a vow not to negotiate until after the shutdown is over. Trump has already panned a similar proposal by Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.), one of his top allies in the upper chamber.

“We agree. The first step is to re-open government,” said Pelosi spokesman Drew Hammill, emphasizing their similarities, not their differences. Pelosi told Trump this month that she would not fund the border wall even after the government reopened, causing the president to walk out of their last meeting.

However, the letter, being circulated among some lawmakers from red or swing districts, illustrates the pressure they are under to end the shutdown. Pelosi and Schumer have argued that giving in to Trump’s desires would be rewarding “bad behavior” or “hostage taking.“ But some Democrats are starting to question that strategy.

“Give Trump the money,” Rep. Collin Peterson, a centrist Democrat from a red Minnesota district, told a local radio station Tuesday. “I’d give him the whole thing…and put strings on it so you make sure he puts the wall where it needs to be. Why are we fighting over this? We’re going to build that wall anyway, at some time.”

Peterson and Rep. Don Young (R-Alaska) wrote to congressional leaders and Trump on Tuesday, calling on them to “end the brinkmanship,” reopen the government and make a “good faith” effort on border security.

But, wait. there’s more.

It is not just the rank and file who are beginning to question Pelosi’s Political Strategy.

FoxNews.com reports that

…for the speech in the House, both chambers of Congress must approve a resolution to use the House chamber and to have both bodies meet in a Joint Session of Congress. This has not happened yet. Should the Senate move to host the president instead, a resolution would still be needed. But (House Majority Leader Steny) Hoyer, in an apparent break with Pelosi, seemingly had no problems with allowing Trump to speak.

“Sure,” Hoyer responded, when asked if he’d be open to Trump speaking in person in the House for the State of the Union. Asked if Pelosi would agree, he added, “I don’t know what the discussions have been.”

And in another split with Pelosi, Hoyer again demurred when asked if walls are indeed an “immorality.”

“Physical barriers are a part of the solution,” Hoyer said. “Look, if it’s protecting people it’s moral, if it’s imprisoning people, it may well be immoral.”

Whoa.

Well, shut mah mouth!

There just may be trouble in paradise.

Don’t you just know that Madame Speaker called Hoyer after she received word of his statements and called him everything but a child of God?

If there are any Democrats with a lick of sense left in the House, they must know by now how stupidly traitorous San Fran Nan is making them look.

The demand of Pelosi and Schumer for Trump to trust them to address building a wall or barrier along our Southern Border if he lets them have his way, possesses all of the sincerity of Lucy Van Pelt holding the football for Charlie Brown to kick.

No matter what the manufactured Democrat-heavy polls show, the majority of average Americans want Trump to build that wall….concrete or steel.

I believe that Hoyer understands and fears the same thing as the Moderate Democrats (a relative term in that political party) do: if Pelosi does not come to the negotiating table, they can all kiss goodbye their cushy seats in the House of Representatives.

The thing is, though, these Dems who oppose her had better get loud and organized.

Nancy plays dirty.

Other rebellions against her have failed.

I would not be surprised, if, like the legendary FBI Director J. Edgar Hoover, she has files on every single Democrat in the House of Representatives, chock full of dirty little secrets which can be used as leverage against them to bring them into compliance.

I do not look for Trump to capitulate to Pelosi. Not over the building of the wall nor the giving of the State of the Union Address.

He will simply find other ways to accomplish both.

Unlike the professional politicians in DC, he is very good at thinking outside the box.

It got him to the White House.

If the House Democrats don’t do something about their leader, they’ll wind up in the outhouse.

“No Nuke” McConnell Refuses to Fund Wall with Simple Majority Vote

mitch-mcconnell-bannon-political-genius-1513960058

Breitbart.com reports that

Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) rejected President Donald Trump’s call to partially fund the border wall with a simple majority vote on Friday, suggesting not enough Senate Republicans support the measure.

President Trump called on McConnell to use the “nuclear option,” or switch to a simple majority vote in the Senate, to pass the continuing resolution (CR) that would partially fund the border wall. The House passed a CR last night that would fund $5.7 billion in border security.

“Mitch, use the Nuclear Option and get it done!” Trump wrote on Twitter. “Our Country is counting on you!”

McConnell spokesman David Popp released a statement on Friday, contending that the Majority Leader continues to oppose going to a simple majority, or 51 votes, to partially fund the border wall. Popp said not enough Senate Republicans support the measure.

Popp said:

“The Leader has said for years that the votes are not there in the Conference to use the nuclear option. Just this morning, several senators put out statements confirming their opposition, and confirming that there is not a majority in the conference to go down that road.”

Retiring Sens. Jeff Flake (R-AZ), Orrin Hatch (R-UT), and Lamar Alexander (R-TN) all released statements on Friday, opposing the nuclear option to fund the wall.

“We have rules to follow. I want to put a stop to this practice of the Senate breaking its rules to change its rules,” Alexander said. “I will not vote to turn the Senate into a rule-breaking institution, and I hope that my colleagues will not.”

Not all Senate Republicans agree with the three retiring GOP lawmakers.

Sen. Steve Daines (R-MT) tweeted after the House passed its spending bill with wall funding that the Senate can do the same if it went to a simple majority. Daines noted that McConnell went “nuclear” to confirm judges through Congress’ upper chamber.

“House just passed a bill that fully funds government and enables @realDonaldTrump to secure our border/build the wall. Senate can do same by eliminating the filibuster,” Daines charged. “51 votes, same as we do for judges!”

Conservative Review senior editor Daniel Horowitz suggested that Republicans can use arcane parliamentary procedures in the Senate to pass border wall funding with a simple majority, skipping the option of entirely “going nuclear.”

Horowitz said that Republicans can exploit Senate Rule XIX, otherwise known as the “the two-speech rule,” which would prevent individual senators from speaking “more than twice upon any one question in debate on the same legislative day.” In other words, this would force Democrats to continually filibuster throughout the same “legislative day” and eventually exhaust Senate Democrats.

…The editor said that these sort of hardball tactics enabled Democrats to pass the civil rights bills in the 1960’s.

Horowitz added, “Republicans with convictions should recognize that having sovereign borders is the civil rights issue for all Americans, rooted in the entire social compact underpinning our federal government.”

“Trump must remember that his entire presidency is on the line. This is his moment,” Horowitz charged. “He must use the bully pulpit and every constitutional tool at his disposal to finally force a national debate over the integrity of our own borders.”

That’s a good suggestion.

I have one, also.

“No Nuke” McConnell needs to start caring more about the feelings of the Deplorables than those of the Senate Democrats.

What we are witnessing, gentle readers, bears witness to the fact that the Professional Politicians representing the Republican Party and more importantly, the American Citizenry, in the Senate care more about playing pussy-foot with their fellow Professional Politicians in the Democratic Party than they do about our Nation’s Sovereignty.

As was demonstrated throughout the Republican Primaries and at the 2016 National Convention, there is a contingency of the Republican Hierarchy, as exemplified by the late John McCain, who seem to value their friendship with those “across the aisle” from them more than the opinions of “the folks back home”.

What “No Nuke” McConnell and the rest of the Vichy Republicans need to understand is that if they intentionally keep President Trump from fulfilling his promise of a wall across our Southern Border, not only will the Congressional phone lines burn up, the switchboard itself will implode.

The average Americans between the coasts who voted Trump into the Oval Office still stand with him, as exhibited by the overflow crowds at the MAGA Rallies during the Midterms.

The Republican Senators and Representatives, too, for that matter, who have buttered their bread in DC by being wishy-washy are all choosing to retire and leave town, rather than be run over by the Trump Train.

The Presidential Election of 2016 was not only a referendum on business as usual in DC’s Halls of Power, it could very well be a portent of things to come for “No Nuke” McConnell and the rest of the “Beltway Boys” if they screw the Deplorables (i.e., average Americans living in America’s Heartland) by not funding the wall on the Southern Border.

Let’s face it…if the Senate Republicans are going to act like a bunch of Democrats…why should they keep their jobs?

FUND THE WALL.

BUILD THE WALL.

FBI Report on Kavanaugh Complete, McConnell Files for Cloture, Possible Vote on Saturday…What Now?

sleazed-dt-600 (2)

FoxNews.com reported that

Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell late Wednesday night filed for cloture to end debate on Brett Kavanaugh’s Supreme Court nomination, setting up a key procedural vote for Friday — and a possible confirmation vote on Saturday.

McConnell also revealed that the Senate would receive the FBI’s supplemental background investigation into Kavanaugh Wednesday night.

Sources previously told Fox News that Senators and some aides would be able to start looking at the FBI’s background investigation on Thursday morning and that Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Chuck Grassley, R-Iowa, and committee member Sen. Dianne Feinstein, D-Calif., will be given the first chance to look at the report.

The bureau’s investigation, ordered last week by President Trump, was designed to look into allegations of sexual misconduct leveled at Kavanaugh, who has been accused by three women of separate alleged incidents. Christine Blasey Ford, the first woman to come forward, testified before the Senate Judiciary last week about her claims.

Two senior Senate sources told Fox News earlier that the report isn’t expected to be released publicly. Instead, the FBI is expected to send a single copy of the supplemental report on Kavanaugh to the Hill, where it will be kept in a safe in the Senate Judiciary Committee. All 100 senators and nine staffers will be authorized to read it.

Earlier Wednesday, Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell denied a request made by Minority Leader Chuck Schumer to approve a briefing by FBI agents on the bureau’s background investigation (BI).

In a letter to Schumer, McConnell said a briefing “would be unprecedented and irregular” and suggested that such a maneuver would be a tactic intended to stall a vote on Kavanaugh’s nomination.

“And, in all candor, I believe it would be used to further delay this nomination—a goal about which you and your Democratic colleagues have been abundantly clear and single-minded in pursuing,” McConnell wrote.

You tell ’em, Mitch.

Here’s some things to look for as this story progresses today, gentle readers,

Of course, the Democrats will say that this Saturday is too soon to call the vote. That’s a given.

If, as I believe it to be, the 7th investigation of Judge Kavanugh finds no evidence of any sort of disqualifying behavior, as the first 6 FBI Investigations went, the Democrat will be all over the TV News Networks saying that the FBI did not ask the right people the right questions.

If the FBI Report is unfavorable to Dr., Ford and the Democrats, they will demand that it be kept confidential “for the sake of the witnesses”.

If there is even one thing found in the FBI Report that favors the Democratic Cause, it will be trumpeted ad nauseam all over the 24/7 News Cycle.

Meanwhile, Soros’ paid protesters will be all over Washington, D.C., verbally accosting Republican Senators, running them and their families out of restaurants, trying to jump on elevators with them, etc., etc., in an effort to intimidate them into changing their votes. And, Fox News will be the only ones honest enough to say that Soros is the money behind these “political activists”.

When the vote is called on Saturday and Judge Kavanaugh becomes our next Supreme Court Justice, I firmly expect some sort of violence in the D>C. Area caused by Soros’ paid political activists having an absolute meltdown.

I expect the Democratic Senators to have a meltdown as well, but it will be strictly verbal. The only violence that will be associated with them is the banging of their heads against the wall in frustration over the failure of what they considered to be a well laid out, thoughtful plan to keep the Judge from becoming a Supreme Court Justice.

That is, unless they decide to drop their masks and put on brown shirts more in accordance with the Far Left Political Ideology of the Modern Democratic Party.

As Artie Johnson of “Rowan and Martin’s Laugh-In” fame used to say, these next few days should be “verrrry interesting”.

Dem Political Activist Calls for FBI Investigation of Unsubstantiated Claim Against Kavanaugh…Call the Vote, Mitch!

dirty-diane-dt-600

FoxNews.com reports that

Christine Blasey Ford, the California professor claiming Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh sexually assaulted her more than 35 years ago, late Tuesday demanded a “full investigation” by the FBI before she will attend any congressional hearing or “interrogation” into her accusations.

Republicans repeatedly have invited Ford and Kavanaugh to testify on Monday after delaying a planned Judiciary Committee vote on his confirmation that had been scheduled for Thursday. Kavanaugh accepted the committee’s invitation, but Ford stayed mum until Tuesday night.

The development throws the entire hearing into doubt: Judiciary Committee Chairman Chuck Grassley, R-Ia., had threatened to nix the proceeding if Ford refused to participate. It was also sure to add fuel to Republican claims that the allegations — which were known to ranking Judiciary Committee Democrat Dianne Feinstein in July, but only revealed to federal authorities last Thursday — are part of a concerted effort to stall Kavanaugh’s nomination at the last minute.

“While Dr. Ford’s life was being turned upside down, you and your staff scheduled a public hearing for her to testify at the same table as Judge Kavanaugh in front of two dozen U.S. Senators on national television to relive this traumatic and harrowing incident,” Ford’s attorneys wrote to Grassley.

In the letter, the lawyers went on to assert that Ford’s family “was forced to relocate out of their home” and that “her email has been hacked, and she has been impersonated online.”

“The hearing was scheduled for six short days from today and would include interrogation by Senators who appear to have made up their minds that she is ‘mistaken’ and ‘mixed up.’ While no sexual assault survivor should be subjected to such an ordeal, Dr. Ford wants to cooperate with the Committee and with law enforcement officials.”

The lawyers, Debra Katz and Lisa Banks, said historical precedent supported the delay — echoing comments by ranking Judiciary Committee Democrat Dianne Feinstein, who on Tuesday said on Twitter that the FBI had also “investigated Anita Hill’s allegations of sexual harassment against Clarence Thomas.”

“As the Judiciary Committee has recognized and done before, an FBI investigation of the incident should be the first step in addressing her allegations,” the letter continued. “A full investigation by law enforcement officials will ensure that the crucial facts and witnesses in this matter are assessed in a non-partisan manner, and that the Committee is fully informed before conducting any hearing or making any decisions.”

In response, a federal law enforcement official told Fox News, “It’s totally inappropriate for someone to demand we use law enforcement resources to investigate a 35-year-old allegation when she won’t go under oath and can’t remember key details including when or where it happened.”

Because Ford’s allegations do not involve any federal crime within the applicable statute of limitations, Fox News has learned that the bureau would require explicit instructions from the White House to conduct any additional probe.

Is it just me, or does this whole “guilty until proven innocent” Political Strategy cooked up by the Democrats remind anyone else of the Salem Witch Trials?

In 1692 in the town of Salem, Massachusetts, beginning with Bridget Bishop, 19 of its citizens were hanged for the crime of being a witch.

In 2018, respected Judge Brett Kavanaugh is being politically hung out to dry by Senator Dianne Feinstein and other leaders of the Democratic Party for the crime of being nominated for the Supreme Court by the 45th President of the United States of America, Donald J. Trump, a Republican who, in the Democrats’ eyes has committed two unpardonable sins 1) He defeated their candidate, Hillary Clinton, for the Presidency and 2) He is actually fulfilling his Campaign Promises to the American People.

And, Lord knows, competency in a President is something that the Democrats simply can not abide.

In a move directly out of the Democrat Playbook (See the chapter on Anita Hill), Sen. Feinstein introduced the specious testimony of a Political Activist College Professor from her Home State of California, who claimed that Judge Kavanaugh made inappropriate advances to her 36 years ago at a teenage party.

The problem is that the witness which she named has submitted a written testimony saying that there was no such incident.

For the Professor to refuse to testify in a called Senate hearing next Monday speaks volumes, as Feinstein herself admitted yesterday that she could not be sure that everything that the woman was saying about what supposedly happened was true.

With the Professor’s claim falling apart, her lawyer, on behalf of the Democratic Party, made the audacious and inappropriate request for an FBI Investigation of the matter, in order to slow down even more the inevitable confirmation of Judge Kavanaugh to the Supreme Court.

Now, the burden is on Senate Leader Mitch McConnell and the Senior Republican Leadership to stop these political shenanigans, whose only purpose is to slander a good man and to slow down or even stop him for assuming his rightful place as a Supreme Court Justice.

It is time for the Senate Republicans, especially Mitch McConnell, to grow some spines and to stop acquiescing to the Democrats and call for the vote to confirm Brett Kavanaugh as America’s next Supreme Court Justice.

Your bosses, the ones who hired you, the Americans who made Trump the 45th President of the United States of America, are watching.

McConnell Stops Bill Designed to Protect Mueller’s Job

912dc865fed1bcf04f416472bdfb1364

“Every bit of this is about getting Donald Trump. The Washington establishment cannot allow for Donald Trump to succeed. He’s an outsider.” – Rush Limbaugh

The Associated Press reports that

WASHINGTON (AP) — Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell on Tuesday thwarted a bipartisan effort to protect special counsel Robert Mueller’s job, saying he will not hold a floor vote on the legislation even if it is approved next week in the Senate Judiciary Committee.

McConnell said the bill is unnecessary because President Donald Trump will not fire Mueller.

“We’ll not be having this on the floor of the Senate,” McConnell said on Fox News.

His comments came amid widespread opposition to the bill among members of his caucus, with several GOP senators saying the bill is unconstitutional. Others said it’s simply not good politics to try and tell Trump what to do, likening the legislation to “poking the bear.”

The bipartisan legislation was introduced last week as Trump publicly criticized Mueller, who is investigating potential ties between Russia and Trump’s 2016 campaign as well as possible obstruction of justice by the president. Trump, fuming about a raid of his personal lawyer’s office by a different division of the FBI, said last week that the Mueller investigation is “an attack on our country” and is “corrupt.”

Trump has also privately pondered firing Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein, who is overseeing Mueller’s investigation.

Within a day of Trump’s criticism, Republicans Thom Tillis of North Carolina and Lindsey Graham of South Carolina combined two bills they introduced last summer to protect special counsels. They introduced the new bill along with Democratic Sens. Chris Coons of Delaware and Cory Booker of New Jersey, and Senate Judiciary Chairman Chuck Grassley, a Republican, announced that his committee would vote on the bill.

The legislation would give any special counsel a 10-day window to seek expedited judicial review of a firing, and would put into law existing Justice Department regulations that require a firing to be for “good cause.”

Democrats immediately jumped on the legislation, but many Republicans have been cool to it.

Well, gosh.

While it is refreshing to see Sen. McConnell act like a Republican Leader for a change, one has to wonder why he is acting as if he has grown a spine overnight.

Well, gentle readers, I have a couple of ideas about that…(I know. You’re shocked.)

  1. Per RasmussenReports.com, President Trump’s job approval poll numbers continue to hover right around the 50% mark, give or take a point either way. All of the Democratic Party Shenanigans, including the Mueller Prove and the Stormy Daniels Timely Distraction, are not swaying the opinion of those Americans who elected Donald J. Trump to be the 45th President of the United States of America.
  2. The House and Senate are going to have their hands full with another matter in about a month. And, Mueller is going to have his own troubles to worry about.

Justice Department Inspector General Michael E. Horowitz expects his wide-ranging report on the FBI and DOJ’s handling of the Hillary Clinton email probe to be finished next month and has been asked to testify before the House oversight committee on May 8, according to letters reviewed by Fox News.

Now, the Democratic Elite and the Vichy Republicans would not mind if the Mueller Probe went on for all four years of Trump’s First Term.

Trump’s mission, given to him by average Americans, is to drain the swamp of those whose sole mission is to serve themselves by lining their pocketbooks at the expense of the American voter.

Trump, the Billionaire Outsider, is not even taking a Presidential Salary. Instead, every quarter he gives that salary to a worthy charity.

Most of the Professional Politicians sent to DC by voters in the past have gone up there rich and come back home richer.

And, McConnell and the rest know that they have to keep in the good graces of their constituencies to keep getting richer.

As I have written in the past, all of these political strategies being utilized against President Trump have been put in place to slow him down, neutralize him, or even get him out of office, so that he cannot keep his campaign promise to the American people to “Make America Great Again”.

The sad truth of the matter is that the Democratic Party want to keep Americans struggling and divided, as Former President Barack Hussein Obama did.

It is more profitable for the future of their politicians and the popularity of their political philosophy, just as it was for the Politboro in the Soviet Union.

The Democrats, Political Pundits, and the Main Stream Media are still in shock that Hillary Clinton is not the President of the United States of America.

Their quest to regain power by getting rid of President Trump has blinded them to the fact that the American People have to actually vote for them in the Midterm Elections in order for them to regain power in Washington, DC.

That will never happen the way that they appear to the American People right now.

All the Democrats stand for as a party is being opposed to everything that Trump is trying to accomplish while telling Americans that we need to turn over our guns and to put down our Bibles because we are being “divisive” by practicing the “Faith of Our Fathers”.

And, the Democrats still can’t figure out why average Americans are not buying their B.S.

The Emp…err…Establishment Strikes Back: The Defeat of Roy Moore – A KJ Analysis

Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell speaks about the election of Donald Trump in the U.S. presidential election in Washington.

Well, gosh.

I am so glad that a bunch of stuffed shirts in (said in my best Pace Picante Sauce commercial voice) New York City, the Beltway, and the Left Coast, knew what was best for voters in Alabama.

Evidently, those who are aligned with the DC Republican Establishment up in the Northeast Corridor are just as clueless as the Democratic Elite who believed that America would elect a stone cold bi…err….Hillary Clinton as our president.

Just as it was blatantly obvious that the “Trial By Media” of Judge Roy Moore was a set-up, it has also now come into sharp focus as to who was pulling the strings of the marionettes involved and why.

Breitbart.com reported on Monday that

Politico reported on Monday that the George Soros-funded Priorities USA Action and Sen. Chuck Schumer’s (D-NY) Senate Majority PAC are the dark money behind the Alabama shell group that has spent more than $4.1 million to defeat conservative Republican Roy Moore in Tuesday’s Alabama U.S. Senate special election in which he faces liberal Democrat Doug Jones:

Highway 31, which has dropped more than $4.1 million in support of Jones and against Roy Moore ahead of Tuesday’s Senate special election, is a joint project of two of the largest national Democratic super PACs — Senate Majority PAC and Priorities USA Action — along with a group of Alabama Democrats, multiple senior officials familiar with the arrangement told POLITICO.

Highway 31 filed its statement of organization with the Federal Election Commission on November 6, and in its 36 days of existence has delivered almost all of its $4.1 million of political messaging on credit provided by its largest vendors, three secretive Washington D.C. based consulting firms founded and run by former Obama campaign staffers.

The firms are Waterfront Strategies, a wholly owned subsidiary of GMMB Consulting, founded and run by former Obama campaign staffer Jim Margolis; Bully Pulpit Interactive, founded and run by former Obama campaign staffer Andrew Bleeker; and Putnam Partners, founded and run by former Obama campaign staffer Mark Putnam.

Federal Election Commission records show that Priorities Action USA raised and spent $192 million in the 2016 election cycle. The vast majority of the funds raised–$130 million out of $192 million–was donated by 37 individuals, each of whom donated more than $500,000. Among the top donors were New York City financier James Simons, who donated $11 million; Fred Eyechaner of Chicago, Illinois, who donated $11 million; George Soros, who donated $9.5 million; his son Alex Soros, who donated $1 million; and Hollywood mavens Steven Spielberg and Jeff Katzenberg, who donated $1 million each.

Not a single one of these 37 individuals are residents of Alabama–14 are from California, nine are from New York, five are from Florida, three are from Illinois, two are from Connecticut, and one each are from Washington, D.C., Michigan, Texas, and Nevada.

The Senate Majority PAC spent almost all the $92 million it raised in the 2016 election cycle. Two-thirds of the money it raised came from donors who gave more than $200. George Soros was among those larger donors, contributing $1.5 million, as was his son, Alex Soros, who contributed $3.5 million.

Neither PAC has filed a report with the FEC since the period ending on June 30, 2017. Their next required filings, covering the period between July 1, 2017 to December 31, 2017, are not required to be filed with the FEC, by law, until January of 2018.

Nor is the Alabama-based shell independent organization it spawned, Highway 31, required to file another financial status report with the FEC until January 21, 2018, more than a month after Tuesday’s election.

Circumstantial evidence to support Monday’s report in Politico that Highway 31 “is a joint project” between Priorities USA Action PAC and the Senate Majority PAC can be found in the 2016 election cycle reports filed with the FEC by the Senate Majority PAC. The majority of the $91 million it spent in the 2016 election cycle–a little more than $65 million–was paid to a single vendor: Waterfront Strategies, the same consulting firm that provided more than $1 million of advertising services to Highway 31 between November 6 and November 22, entirely on credit.

November 22 was the ending period of the first and only financial status report that Highway 31 filed with the FEC. It showed that as of that date, the shell group had no assets and no cash, but owed Waterfront Strategies, Bully Pulpit Interactive, and Putnam Partners a little more than $1.7 million for services provided between November 6 and November 22.

Since November 22, Highway 31 incurred an additional $2.4 million in advertising expenditures, bringing its total to $4.1 million.

It is not known if Highway 31’s vendors have provided these additional services on credit to date.

It hardly matters, because it seems quite likely that at some point subsequent to the election on Tuesday, any one of the wealthy liberal donors who have funded Priorities USA Action PAC and the Senate Majority Fund–George Soros, James Simon, Steven Spielberg, Jeffrey Katzenberg–can stroke a check for the full amount of any debts incurred by Highway 31, and the money will be passed through the Priorities USA Action PAC or the Senate Majority Fund to Highway 31 and immediately moved on to the vendors.

Though “multiple senior officials familiar with the arrangement”– presumably at Priorities USA Action PAC and the Senate Majority Fund –appeared eager to share their dark money secret, on background of course, with Politico the day before the Alabama U.S. Senate special election, a spokesperson for Highway 31 chose to play it coy when contacted by Breitbart News.

“Highway 31 continues to follow every appropriate rule and regulation. Highway 31 will file contributors per the FEC reporting schedule,” Highway 31 executive director Adam Muhlendorf told Breitbart News when asked to confirm or deny the Politico report that the PAC “is a joint project of two of the largest national Democratic super PACs — Senate Majority PAC and Priorities USA Action.”

It wasn’t bad enough that Moore was fighting against these two huge Progressive Democrat Super Pacs…he was fighting the GOP Elite…the Vichy Republicans…also!!!

Spineless Vichy Republicans have been a barrier to Republican victory for as long as I can remember. Like Quakers, Establishment Republicans seem to believe that passive resistance and reaching out to their sworn enemies as “friends”, is the way to defeat those who oppose you.

It was especially bad during Obama’s reign, as the House and Senate Republican Leadership apparently cherished their friendship with the Democrats more than they did the wishes of the folks back home. Yes, they talked a good game, but so did Jon Lovitz in those “Liar Sketches” during the old days of Saturday Night Live, back when they were actually funny.

Yeah,  my wife Morgan Fairchild. Yeah, that’s it. That’s the ticket!

and now, at almost the end of the first year of Trump’s Presidency, Congress remains oblivious to the anger of average Americans, living here in the Heartland, during the 2016 President Election, which gave them control of Capitol Hill.

It is that same anger that led to the defeat of Luther Strange and the victory of the “outsider”, Former Judge Roy Moore, who seemed to be a shoo-in to be a two-year Replacement Senator from Alabama.

The President needs to hold meetings with Congressional Leaders and point out the glaring lesson in the state of Modern American Politics that Alabama taught yesterday.

That lesson is the fact that the Republican Establishment teamed up with the Democrats and George Soros to defeat an individual whom they deemed “not worthy enough” to be a U.S. Senator.

The same fate would have befallen Donald J. Trump in November of 2016, if this new “Axis of Evil” had not greatly underestimated “the Trump Train”.

I hope that the Vichy Republicans, sitting on their bar stools at the GOP Elite Country Club, are ready for the blowback which they are about to receive.

Americans have had their fill of Establishment Politicians on both sides of the aisle, who only pretend to listen to “the folks back home” during obligatory Town Hall Meetings and when they are out stumping for re-election to their phony baloney jobs.

“Hrumph!”

Like the Far Left Democrats, the Vichy Republicans once again, of their own volition, have placed themselves, like the mythical gods on Mount Olympus, completely out-of-touch with us “little people”…the Americans whom they purport to represent.

And, like the before-mentioned Democrats, McConnell, Ryan, et al, will also find themselves out of power after the Mid-term Elections of 2018, if they do not immediately start treating average Americans here in the Heartland who placed an “outsider” in the Presidency, with the respect due us…

…AS THEIR BOSS.

And, if they don’t, then it will be up to us voters to continue the job of “Draining the Swamp” that President Trump has started.

Is the “Trial By Media” of Judge Roy Moore a Bellweather for the Country?

Steve_Bannon_Mitch_McConnell

The following editorial appeared online at wsj.com last night as I was sitting down to write this post.

A famous country song aptly summed up where the Republicans are with Senate candidate Roy Moore in Alabama: You’ve got to know when to fold ’em.

There is no doubt a sense in which Mr. Moore deserves the opportunity to challenge accusations against him for acts alleged to have happened more than 30 years ago. Though too many women were too easily ignored in the past, we do not want to live in a country or political culture in which every accusation of sexual misconduct is automatically accepted as true. Accusers can be liars too.

But Mr. Moore isn’t in a courtroom today. He’s in the political arena in which a candidate has to maintain a minimal level of public credibility to survive. And his political situation has moved well beyond a more familiar she said/he said predicament.

Several women have made detailed accusations of sexual misconduct against Mr. Moore, and multiple people now say he was known for trolling shopping malls for young girls while in his 30s. Mr. Moore’s public defenses have also been less than convincing, not least that he doesn’t know his latest accuser, though he signed her yearbook.

Mr. Moore’s credibility has fallen below the level of survivability. Some of Mr. Moore’s presumed colleagues in the Senate have said they believe the women and that the judge should withdraw. Colorado’s Cory Gardner has suggested that even if Mr. Moore wins, the Senate should vote to expel him from the body. It’s a rare candidate who achieves that degree of political abandonment.

The sensible move would be for Mr. Moore to step away from the campaign and allow Alabama’s Republicans to put forth a more credible candidate to run as a write-in against Democrat Doug Jones. Most likely, Mr. Moore won’t do that. He made his reputation as an Alabama state judge by openly defying valid court orders, which twice cost him his court seat.

In the event that Mr. Moore refuses to drop out in the next day or so, President Trump might have more sway if he suggests that he leave the race. If Mr. Trump won’t do that, then the GOP will be better off if Mr. Moore loses, despite the blow to its Senate majority. Democrats and the media will make Mr. Moore the running mate of every Republican in 2018.

Alabama’s Republican voters are in a tough spot, and ideally they’d at least get the chance to choose between a prominent write-in candidate from their party or opt for sending a message by voting for the Democrat. For 25 years Democrats and feminists euphemized and apologized for Bill Clinton, starting with Gennifer Flowers before he was President. Republicans can show their standards are better.

There is one other obvious loser in this debacle: Former White House aide Steve Bannon. Some have argued that the Bannon insurgency against the Republican “establishment” is in the mode of earlier party challenges led by Ronald Reagan or Newt Gingrich. This one isn’t close. The populism of Reagan and Mr. Gingrich was always about building the conservative movement into a majority that could govern and change the country.

The Bannonites have given no evidence or argument that they are aiming that high. They want to defeat the existing majority—a conservative majority by any historical standard—mainly to show that they can depose Majority Leader Mitch McConnell.

They have no discernible governing agenda beyond trade protectionism and slashing immigration, and those often appear to be convictions of convenience. It is hardly a surprise therefore that instead of recruiting talented candidates, Mr. Bannon is collecting cranks and outliers like Roy Moore who, demonstrably, will take the GOP into the minority.

The lesson Republican voters should draw from the Moore mess is that their future lies with nominating candidates who want to achieve substantive policy goals, such as a serious reform of the tax code or confirming originalist judges, rather than pouring their emotions into a political fringe that will always find a way to lose.

Raging against the establishment for the sake of raging is an agenda for losers, and it will cost conservatives the votes in Congress they need to achieve conservative goals.

Well, gosh.

I am so glad that a bunch of stuffed shirts in (said in my best Pace Picante Sauce commercial voice) New York City, know what is best for voters in Alabama.

Evidently, those who are aligned with the DC Republican Establishment up in the Northeast Corridor are just as clueless as the Democratic Elite who believe that America would elect a stone cold bi…err….Hillary Clinton as our president.

Just as it is blatantly obvious that the “Trial By Media” of Judge Roy Moore is a set-up, it has also come into sharp focus as to who is ultimately pulling the strings of the marionettes involved and why.

Rush Limbaugh explained it all on his program yesterday, as only he can…

I think Roy Moore is actually Steve Bannon being told by Mitch McConnell, “Oh, yeah? You think you’re getting rid of me? Let me show you what’s gonna happen to everybody you nominate to try to get rid of me.” Because Bannon has said that his objective is to get rid of Mitch McConnell, not just as leader of the Republicans, but out of the Senate. But certainly he wants to oust McConnell as the Senate Republican majority leader.

McConnell may look like a turtle, he may talk like a turtle, he may walk like a turtle, but the guy is not the turtle. He’s the scorpion, and you are seeing the McConnell scorpion sting right now. And if it weren’t Roy Moore, it would be somebody else that Bannon had chosen to support who had become a Republican candidate with the objective being to get rid of Mitch.

…See, this is the thing about this story that, without even commenting on Moore’s guilt or innocence, it’s so obvious what’s happening here. It’s just patently obvious. They don’t want this guy in Washington. Nobody wants this guy elected anywhere near either political party. The establishment doesn’t. To hell with what the people of Alabama have done voting-wise. To hell with what the voters of Alabama want to happen, that it doesn’t matter. The parties do not want this guy anywhere near.

The latest is — believe this. Apparently if the Republican Party of Alabama, after the election, if Roy Moore wins it, they can essentially say, “You know what? We were not represented. This guy is not a Republican.” They can void the election outcome by simply claiming that he was not a Republican or that they don’t sanction the result because he’s not a Republican or he doesn’t represent, whatever. If the party pulls out and does not allow Moore the identification, then apparently they can void the election and start the whole process over.

So you’ve got McConnell responding to Bannon. There’s no question that’s a lot of what this is. But you’ve also got the swamp. Nobody in either party wanting this guy anywhere near Washington, DC. And it doesn’t matter what the voters want. It doesn’t matter. Just on the basis of allegations, it doesn’t matter, because there isn’t a conviction, there isn’t without-a-doubt proof or any of that. It’s just that they don’t want this guy anywhere near there. And that’s what they’re gonna make happen.

This is a microcosm of what they’re trying to do to Trump. They’re essentially trying to say Trump is not fit, Trump is not worthy, Trump is not justified. There’s a coup that’s been underway to essentially disregard the duly constituted presidential election of 2016.

From the day that Donald J. Trump announced his intentions to run for the office of the President of the United States of America, the sphincters of those in the Halls of Power of both Political Parties in Washington, D.C. have been puckered tighter than Rosie O’Donnell’s grip on a Thanksgiving Turkey Leg.

The Republicans tried every which way they could to take the nomination away from him at the Convention. When they failed, they resigned themselves to ride his coat tails to victory and deal with him once he got into office.

Since Trump assumed office, there have been two impediments to him keeping his promises to the American People: the Democratic Party…and the Republican Party.

For every promise that we hear from Paul Ryan, Mitch McConnell, and the rest of the G.O.P. that they are going to support and assist Trump in fulfilling his campaign promises, there are also deals being struck in the Congressional Coatroom, where “business as usual” has always been conducted on Capitol Hill.

The Establishment Republicans seem to be quite content, in their Moderately Left-leaning stupor, even after the mandate that We The People delivered to them on November 8th, 2016, to be totally oblivious and tone-deaf of their Base, average hard-working middle-class Americans like you and me.

You know, the people who actually put them into office.

They keep on making bad choices.

With the cries from the Establishment Republicans for Judge Roy Moore to end his campaign in Alabama, it is now very clear that the noble sentiments that we hear and the “Hail Fellow well met” reaction to the Populist Movement and President Trump himself that we see from Ryan, McConnell, and the rest of the entrenched Republicans are a reenactment of William Shakepeare’s “Julius Caesar”.

Beware the Ides of March.

Meanwhile, on the other side of the Political Aisle, you have San Fran Nan Pelosi and the rest of Democrats joining in the chorus to string Judge Moore up from the nearest tree…while ignoring all of their fellow Liberals and Democratic Donors in Babylon West, otherwise known as Hollywood.

Backing them up is the Main Stream Media, like the Associated Press, who word their articles about both Trump and Judge Moore very carefully in their role as the Propaganda Arm of the Democratic Party.

However, they can not hide their bias. Their hatred of anything to do with the “Uprising of “The Heartland Political Uprising” shines through in both their prose and the individuals they use as sources for their articles.

Those who Support the Republican Establishment in their effort to subjugate us “peons’ are just as didactic and condescending in their writings, as the above article by the Wall Street Journal clearly demonstrates.

To summarize, average Americans and the “political outsiders” whom we wish to see in power in DC are catching flack from both sides of the Political Aisle.

Clowns to the left of me…jokers to the right…here I am…

Everybody sing!

Just kidding.

If the Republican Establishment keeps mooning average Americans and showcasing their Spines of Jell-O, instead of supporting average Americans’ political choices, including President Trump and the mandate which the American People gave them on November 8, 2016, average Americans are going to show them what they think of them by decimating the  entrenched House and Senate Vichy Republicans in the Mid-Term Vote.

In summation, the American people are tired of Political Correctness and anti-American political expediencies being forced down our throats by both political parties looking out for their own personal interests and trumpeted by their lackeys in the Main Stream Media.

Political Outsiders, like President Trump and Judge Moore, with their straightforward no-nonsense way of talking to us, instead of down to us, are a breath of fresh air and, quite frankly an anomaly. They are not professional politicians who have made their fortunes up on Capitol Hill. They have actually worked for a living, alongside average Americans.

And, the Establishment Elite simply cannot have that.

The Art of the Deal: Trump Makes Gov’t Funding Deal with Dems to “Clear the Decks” for Tax Reform

43F1BB5F00000578-0-image-a-4_1504650105023

“MY STYLE of deal-making is quite simple and straightforward. I aim very high, and then I just keep pushing and pushing and pushing to get what I’m after.” ― President Donald J. Trump, Trump: The Art of the Deal

Breitbart.com reports that

President Donald Trump celebrated a deal with Democratic congressional leaders to punt the debt ceiling and government funding to December in an effort to speed up tax reform.

“I’ll tell you what, we walked out of there, Mitch and Paul and everybody, Kevin, and we walked out and everybody was happy,” Trump said after the meeting. “Not too happy — you can never be too happy, but they were happy enough.”

The deal fit neatly with what House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi and Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer wanted, but not what Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell or House Speaker Paul Ryan were looking for.

Republicans wanted a longer, 18-month raise of the debt ceiling and government funding, while Democrats see the possibility of a government shutdown in December as a political opportunity. The measure will likely be attached to spending for Hurricane Harvey relief in Texas and Louisiana.

But the White House argued that it was important to make a deal to ensure tax reform could happen.

“We believe that helping to clear the decks in September enables us to focus on tax reform for the American people,” White House Director of Legislative Affairs Marc Short told reporters on Air Force One. “We need to get the economy growing again and that’s what we need to focus on.”

Short said he planned to meet with Congressional members of the Freedom Caucus to discuss the deal, which he argued only extended the debt ceiling for a short time.

Trump appeared delighted to find an easy solution to the process, which many in Washington thought would be bloody.

“It was nice to see that happen for a change,” Trump said, during a tax reform speech in North Dakota. “That hasn’t happened for a long time in this country, for a very long time.”

Why did President Trump feel that he had to basically bypass both Rep. Paul Ryan and Sen. Mitch McConnell, in order to get something done?

Perhaps, he was simply tired of waiting.

Back on May 1st, Rush Limbaugh, the Maha Rushie himself, asked the following during his radio program…

…Why hasn’t there been a flood of legislation emanating from the Republicans in the House and the Senate to begin the process of implementing the Trump agenda? I know, I’ve answered my question. I’m doing this in a rhetorical sense to set up a premise. As I’ve stated many times, the Washington establishment’s totally opposed to Trump. They don’t want anything that Trump campaigned on to happen. They don’t want an outsider coming in and succeeding and thereby demonstrating how it can be done.

Nobody on the outside is supposed to be able to come in and reform Washington and improve it. The establishment has set it up so they have an exclusive, exclusionary club that very few people are capable or qualified to be part of, and that’s that. So the last thing they can afford is for somebody like Trump, who’s not a politician by trade, to come in after winning an election and totally turn the town upside down. They will not do it.

But the dirty little secret is that there isn’t any evidence that anywhere in Washington is there any aspect of the Trump agenda on display. It doesn’t seem to be that in the House of Representatives that there is a desire to implement any of the Trump agenda. It doesn’t seem in the Senate that there is a desire to implement any of the Trump agenda. It does seem in the House that there is a lot of energy devoted to stopping a Trump agenda. Ditto in the Senate.

So the people who are running the show in Washington are impervious and unconcerned about public opinion and the results of an election and are now in the process of doing what they can to thwart the will of the people in a very clear issues-dominated and issues-oriented election. Trump wins, he has a specific agenda. Where are the members of his party writing legislation to get going on the implementation of his agenda?

Where indeed.

What slays me about thwhole situation involving this “Do-nothing Congress” is the fact that the Establishment Republicans seem to be quite content, in their moderately Left-leaning stupor, even after the mandate that We The People delivered to them on November 8th, 2016, to be totally oblivious and tone deaf of their Base, average hard working middle-class Americans like you and me.

You know, the people who actually put them into office.

They keep on making bad choices.

Spineless Vichy Republicans have been a barrier to Republican victory for as long as I can remember. Like Quakers, Establishment Republicans seem to believe that passive resistance and acquiescing to the wishes of Democrats, instead of dealing with them, as Ronald Reagan did with Tip O’ Neil, is the way to defeat those who oppose you.

That’s the ticket!

and now, in the ninth month of Trump’s Presidency, Congress remains oblivious to the anger of average Americans, living here in the Heartland, during the 2016 President Election, which gave them control of Capitol Hill.

In 1975, Ronald Wilson Reagan gave a speech which sums up our present situation and average Americans’ visceral disdain for the Professional Politicians, who value the Washingtonian Status Quo, above US.

Americans are hungry to feel once again a sense of mission and greatness.

I don ‘t know about you, but I am impatient with those Republicans who after the last election rushed into print saying, “We must broaden the base of our party” — when what they meant was to fuzz up and blur even more the differences between ourselves and our opponents.

It was a feeling that there was not a sufficient difference now between the parties that kept a majority of the voters away from the polls. When have we ever advocated a closed-door policy? Who has ever been barred from participating?

Our people look for a cause to believe in. Is it a third party we need, or is it a new and revitalized second party, raising a banner of no pale pastels, but bold colors which make it unmistakably clear where we stand on all of the issues troubling the people?

A political party cannot be all things to all people. It must represent certain fundamental beliefs which must not be compromised to political expediency, or simply to swell its numbers.

I do not believe I have proposed anything that is contrary to what has been considered Republican principle. It is at the same time the very basis of conservatism. It is time to reassert that principle and raise it to full view. And if there are those who cannot subscribe to these principles, then let them go their way.

Note to the GOP Elite:

You guys are now facing the same situation that faced Victor von Frankenstein, in the classic movie: You have created this “monster”.

…a pi$$ed-off base who voted for an “outsider”, a non-professional politician talking directly to the people…

And, you have lost control.

President Trump has shown, by both his words and actions, that he is determined, one way or another, to keep his Campaign Promises to the American People.

Your only hope is to catch this lighting in a bottle and to ride this lightning bolt all the way through Donald J. Trump’s tenure as President of the United States of America, supporting him and passing legislation in accordance with the wishes of the American Voters who made him the “Leader of your Political Party”.

Your phony boloney jobs are at stake.

If you do not straighten up and perform your job, by supporting President Trump, in accordance with the mandate which we gave you on November 8, 2016, those jobs which you have become so comfortable in, can and will be taken away in the next Midterm Elections.

The American People replaced a Professional Politician who screwed up the country with a Citizen Statesman.

You are not exempt from the same fate.

Dear Vichy Republicans: Repeal Obamacare NOW! Sincerely, Your Bosses

th7XHBHZGO

I was literally raised by 3 doctors. No, I’m not some genetic experiment, like Arnold Schwarzenegger was in the movie “Twins” with Danny DeVito. I was born a severe asthmatic, caused by being born a month premature to a Mother 3 days before her 40th birthday. These three men worked in the same clinic in Mid-town Memphis, TN. They later went on to become the chairmen of the Medical and Surgery Departments at a local hospital.

Some of my most vivid childhood memories involve laying in one of their examination rooms, with oxygen strapped to my face, as my beloved Daddy waited nervously, by my side.

Asthma treatment back then, consisted of a swig of nasty-tasting yellow Triaminic Syrup, a shot of Epinephrine, an antibiotic shot (usually a Mycin drug), a prescription for Prednisone to alleviate the inflammation, and a prescription for an anti-biotic (again, usually a mycin drug). Thank goodness, back then, (1960s through early 1970s) Sears, where both of my parents worked, had a really good insurance plan.

That being said, I owe my life to those three devoted physicians and the Greatest Healthcare System in the World.

And, to the solid Health Insurance which my parents had through their jobs at Sears Roebuck and Company, jobs which they held until they were forced to retire in the early 1980s by the people who have run that once proud company straight into a rapidly-approaching oblivion.

Unfortunately, America’s Healthcare System, thanks to the Marxist Megalomaniac who formerly resided at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue in Washington, DC, is in the process of going that same way, unless Obamacare is repealed immediately.

Foxnews.com reported yesterday that

Republican Senators Mike Lee, of Utah, and Jerry Moran, of Kansas, announced late Monday they would not support the GOP’s most recent version of the Senate health care bill, effectively stalling the legislation.

In a statement released Monday night, Sen. Lee said he will vote no on the Better Care Reconciliation Act.

“After conferring with trusted experts regarding the latest version of the Consumer Freedom Amendment, I have decided I cannot support the current version of the Better Care Reconciliation Act,” Sen. Lee said. “In addition to not repealing all of the Obamacare taxes, it doesn’t go far enough in lowering premiums for middle class families; nor does it create enough free space from the most costly Obamacare regulations.”

Sen. Moran tweeted his official statement in which he voiced his opposition to the Senate’s latest bill, stating, “We should not put our stamp of approval on bad policy.”

The two senators join Senators Rand Paul, of Kentucky, and Susan Collins, of Maine, who both made clear last week they would not support the bill.

With a 52-48 majority, the two senators’ opposition to the bill means it is effectively dead in the Senate.

Sen. Chuck Schumer, D-N.Y., said the Senate’s second failure at attempting to repeal and replace ObamaCare is “proof” that the bill is “unworkable.”

The legislation, which was strongly backed by President Donald Trump, is the second failure in the Senate for Majority Leader Mitch McConnell, who had to cancel voting on an earlier version of the bill last month when it became clear it wouldn’t pass. McConnell had planned to “move to proceed” on the health care bill this week.

The Senate bill eliminated mandates and taxes under ObamaCare, and unraveled a Medicaid expansion. But for conservatives like Lee and Paul it didn’t go far enough in delivering on Republican Party promises to undo Obama’s law, while moderates like Collins viewed the bill as too extreme in yanking insurance coverage from millions.

After the announcement of this impasse in the Senate, President Trump tweeted,

Republicans should just REPEAL failing ObamaCare now & work on a new Healthcare Plan that will start from a clean slate. Dems will join in!

Wow. Common sense coming from the White House. How refreshing.

After the President’s Tweet, Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell issued the following statement…

“Regretfully, it is now apparent that the effort to repeal and immediately replace the failure of Obamacare will not be successful. So, in the coming days, the Senate will vote to take up … a repeal of Obamacare with a two-year delay to provide for a stable transition period to a patient-centered health care system that gives Americans access to quality, affordable health care.”

There is still one major roadblock preventing the President’s suggestion from becoming a reality:

PROFESSIONAL POLITICIANS

Trump was elected President, to a great degree, because he is NOT a professional politician.

He was an American who wanted to make a difference.

That being the case, his penchant for not beating around the bush, i.e., being direct in his statements and actions, immediately put him at odds with the Vichy Republicans of the G.O.P.

The President is doing his best to fulfill all of the campaign promises he made to those of us who voted for him last November.

As is the case with getting rid of the disastrous failed bureaucratic boondoggle known as Obamacare. since Trump assumed office, there have been two impediments to him keeping his promises to the American People: the Democratic Party…and the Republican Party.

Donald Trump, for all of his brashness and braggadocio, is a breath of free air and, quite frankly an anomaly. He’s not a professional politician. He is a businessman who became the President of the United States of America.

I believe that President Trump will continue to navigate his way through these shark-infested waters.

The success that he has achieved as President so far is not just a three-hour tour and he is not Skipper Jonas Grumby.

Although, Congressman Paul Ryan does resemble Gilligan.

But, I digress…

Until He Comes,
