Clash in Charlottesville: For Every Action, There is an Equal and Opposite Reaction…Even When It’s an Astroturf One (A KJ Analysis)

DHC7nf9W0AAN3tt

Black American Economist and Conservative Political Pundit, Dr. Walter E. Williams, wrote the following piercing words, in an article posted on January 26, 2000…

“The flap over the Confederate flag is not quite as simple as the nation’s race experts make it. They want us to believe the flag is a symbol of racism. Yes, racists have used the Confederate flag, but racists have also used the Bible and the U.S. flag. Should we get rid of the Bible and lower the U.S. flag? Black civil rights activists and their white liberal supporters who’re attacking the Confederate flag have committed a deep, despicable dishonor to our patriotic black ancestors who marched, fought and died to protect their homeland from what they saw as Northern aggression.

They don’t deserve the dishonor.

Unfortunately, Dr. Williams, they have not stopped with the Confederate Battle Flag.

Things have escalated like Elvis Presley’s  favorite roller coaster, the Zippin’ Pippin, on its downhill run.

TheHill.com reported that

President Trump condemned the “egregious,” racially-charged clashes in Charlottesville, Va. on Saturday, but avoided putting more blame on any particular group, saying hatred by “many sides” was to blame.

Trump made the remarks shortly after it was confirmed that one person had been killed and more than a dozen others injured after a car plowed into a crowd of people protesting white nationalist and Nazi groups marching Saturday in Charlottesville, Va.

“We condemn in the strongest possible terms this egregious display of hatred, bigotry and violence on many sides, on many sides,” Trump said at a press conference form his New Jersey golf course.

“It’s been going on for a long time in our country. Not Donald Trump, not Barack Obama. This has been going on for a long, long time,” he continued.

Trump also called attention to the economy during his remarks, and praised state and local police at an event meant to highlight accomplishments by the Department of Veterans’ Affairs during his administration.

“Our country is doing very well in so many ways. We have record, just absolute record employment. We have unemployment the lowest it’s been in almost seventeen years. We have companies pouring into our country. Foxconn and car companies and so many others, they’re coming back to our country. We’re renegotiating trade deals to make them great for our country and great for the American worker,” he said.

Trump came under criticism for not condemning the far right groups marching in Virginia, and for a statement that instead criticized violence by “many sides.”

“Mr. President – we must call evil by its name. These were white supremacists and this was domestic terrorism,” Sen. Cory Gardner wrote on Twitter.

“White supremacists, Neo-Nazis and anti-Semites are the antithesis of our American values,” wrote Rep. Ileana Ros-Lehtinen, a Republican House member from Florida. “There are no other “sides” to hatred and bigotry.”

Sen. Marco Rubio said in a message on Twitter it was “very important for the nation to hear @POTUS describe events in #Charlottesville for what they are, a terror attack by #whitesupremacists.”

White nationalist, white supremacist and alt-right groups were initially scheduled to gather in Charlottesville’s Emancipation Park Saturday to protest the city’s decision to remove a Confederate statue there.

But as clashes broke out ahead of the so-called “Unite the Right” rally Saturday morning, police declared the gathering an unlawful assembly, breaking up the event before it officially began.

Virginia Gov. Terry McAuliffe (D) confirmed Saturday night that at least three people were killed in the violent clashes.

The president first condemned the event on Twitter hours after the violence ensued.

I had to work yesterday. As I was taking my lunch, PMSNBC was on in the break room. The time was 1:30 p.m. Central.

The talking head who was acting as the “anchor” and his guests, including one-half of “The Justice Brothers”, the Reverend Al Sharpton, seemed to be having a hard time suppressing their giddiness over the opportunity they had been given to ratchet up the racial animus and divisive rhetoric which had been bursting at the seams of this great nation, to the point of busting our national unity wide open.

Of course, the Liberals Pundits and Liberal Anchor blamed everything on those who were protesting the removal of the statue of General Robert E. Lee.

They neglected to mention how all of those “Antifa” and BLM clowns, just happened to be in the town of Charlottesville.

I would guess that they relied on the same benefactor as the “Women’s Day March” and all of the other not-so-spontaneous Liberal Marches and Protests which have occurred since Donald J. Trump was inaugurated as the 45th President of the United States of America.

“Uncle George” certainly does have deep pockets.

American Progressives, both Democrat and Republican, have been taking advantage of the horrible church massacre in Charleston, SC, since it occurred a couple of years ago, to try to accomplish something that they have been trying to do for years: minimize the South’s political clout and erase our uniqueness as a region, through the taking away of symbols and statues and any other trace of the historical aspects of the Confederate Side of the Civil War, as exemplified by the Liberal Hypocrisy being displayed in New Orleans and the mission began by Former Memphis Mayor AC Wharton and his minions on the City Council to dig up Nathan Bedford Forrest and his wife, and move their bodies and a statue of the general, which all currently “reside” in a downtown park in the Medical Center. (Of course, the real reason is the fact that the University of Tennessee Center for the Health Sciences wants to buy the park, which sits in the middle of the Medical Center, for the purposes of expansion…but, no one talks about that.)

By the way, weren’t the Klansmen all Democrats?

But, I digress…

Several years ago, I bore witness to an annual Civil War Reenactment, which is held every Memorial Day on the Civil War Battlefield of Shiloh.

Cannons were fired, guns discharged, while men feigned falling in battle.

All that day, “Decoration Day” was observed, as family members laid flowers on the graves of those who had been laid to rest at  Historic Shiloh Cemetery.

This yearly event is a solemn occasion, a chance to teach young Americans about the sacrifices of those who came before them.

And now, a bunch of spineless jellyfish, far removed from that historic battleground in Middle Tennessee, worshipping at the Altar of Political Correctness, are attempting to wipe out a part of our nation’s history, in an attempt to assuage “hurt feelings”.

The dead can not fight back.

This is beyond disgraceful.

The results of a CNN poll, show that the opinion of Americans concerning symbols of the Confederacy, including the Confederate Battle Flag, remains unchanged in the last two decades.

The poll shows that 57% of Americans see the flag more as a symbol of Southern pride than as a symbol of racism, about the same as in 2000 when 59% said they viewed it as a symbol of pride.

Not to be harsh or inappropriate, but, which is doing more harm to black Americans…these symbols of a part of our nation’s history…or a lack of leadership in  parts of the black community itself?

The racial animus and divisive rhetoric which began during the 8 long years of the Obama Administration, even now, after average Americans stood up on our hind legs and elected Donald J. Trump as President, still threatens to tear our Sovereign Nation asunder.

The Democrats, as a result of their own regional bias toward the major metropolitan areas on the East and West Coasts, which has been obvious to average Americans for the last several decades, effectively divorced themselves from the people whom they claimed in every previous election cycle to “love”…Average Working Class Americans.

The Democrats became the party of the “Upper Crust” and Special Interest Groups, who look down their noses at Americans who live here in “Flyover Country”, including, and especially, all of us Redneck Cracka RAAACIIISTS, who reside below the Mason/Dixon Line.

This Liberal Crusade, through which Modern American Liberals are attempting to rewrite and censure history, in the name of Political Correctness, “racism”, and “hurt feelings” is one of the biggest exercises in Liberal Hypocrisy that this ol’ Son of the South has seen in my ever-lengthening lifetime.

And, it has been fueled by their unwavering egotistical belief that they are “the smartest people in the room”

The Democrats assumed, after reading their own press clippings, that all Americans wanted the Progressive/Marxist Political Ideology and style of governance which Barack Hussein Obama practiced during his time as President.

Well, we all know what assuming does, don’t we, boys and girls?

The American People overthrew the “Tyranny of the Minority”, which we have suffered under for the last 8 years on November 8th.

While the French long ago used “Madame Guillotine” to make a drastic change in their government, Americans used voting booths.

Now, it’s time to come together as a nation, not to purposefully further the division between us.

No amount of selectively rewriting history or removing it from public view because of hurt feelings, will never assuage the feelings of those for whom it is heritage, not hate.

And, no amount of condescension and scolding will convince them otherwise.

President Trump responded appropriately to what happened in Charlottesville.

There was more than enough ignorance and hate to go around yesterday.

Don’t believe me?

YOU go try watching PMSNBC on YOUR lunch break.

Until He Comes,

Of Ferguson, Falsehoods, and a Failed “Great Society”

Ferguson MO8202014With the reality of a historic drubbing in the 2014 Midterm Elections beginning to sink in among the grieving politically-active Liberal Element of our society, the situation in Ferguson, Missouri, where citizens and outside agitators are waiting on a decision by the Grand Jury deliberating whether or not to indict Police Officer Darren Vinson in the shooting of local thug Michael Brown, has assumed the National Spotlight again.

CNN.com reports that

Ferguson Mayor James Knowles told local media this week that authorities must “prepare for the worst” and he expects demonstrations across the area.

He and his administration didn’t respond to CNN’s inquiries about whether city officials would agree to the coalition’s requests. Ferguson police also did not respond to CNN’s questions about what that department thinks of the “rules,” but St. Louis County police said their department “endorses the statement from the Don’t Shoot Coalition regarding the sanctity and preservation of human life. To that end, and in the spirit of building communications, members of the Unified Command have met with the coalition to define common goals.”

Many protesters were furious because they feel Brown’s killing was an example of excessive use of force. They and heavily armed law enforcement clashed in the streets for days after Brown’s death.

Authorities, who drove armored vehicles and wore military gear, were roundly criticized by members of the media, other law enforcement officials and demonstrators for escalating the violence, rather than tempering it. Law enforcement also was accused of blocking and, in some cases, attacking journalists who were trying to report on the situation.

Some of the coalition’s “rules” ask that police provide information that makes clear law enforcement’s chain of command, who is making what decisions and why, and assurances that neither police nor the government will interfere with the flow of information. That means, according to the “rules,” there will be no unwarranted wiretapping or attempts to interfere with internet and cellular access. The rules ask the police not to use rubber bullets, armored vehicles, rifles and tear gas.

The organization also has written stipulations about how it wants police to present themselves, including a request that officers wear attire “minimally required for their safety” and that “specialized riot gear will be avoided except as a last resort.”

Knowles would not give details on law enforcement’s plan following the grand jury’s decision,CNN affiliate Fox 2 reported Wednesday. But he spoke in broad terms about the approach law enforcement is going to take.

“It’s not going to be about lining up a fixed line of law enforcement officers somewhere, it’s going to be about being prepared, being reactive, being mobile, being able to respond to wherever an issue breaks out,” the mayor said.

Knowles also expects there’s going to be unrest outside of Ferguson.

“It’s not going to be about Ferguson,” he said. “The threats that are out there are threats across the region. Our expectation is that demonstrations will probably break out in several places.”

The mayor told Fox 2 that people who are close to organizers and protesters have informed him that demonstrators are planning to focus on areas around St. Louis and the city’s downtown.

Area school superintendents have written a letter urging that when the grand jury comes to a decision that it be announced on a weekend or at least not on a weekday until after 5 p.m. The superintendents are concerned that if chaos happens, that could affect the ability of nearly 20,000 students who use transportation to get to and from school.

Like most Americans, I have watched in fascination…and disgust…as the situation in Ferguson, Missouri has devolved into some sort of bizarre rush to judgement, for the purpose of some kind of strange racial reparation.

As the evidence against Michael Brown makes its way into the harsh light of day, the professional race-baiters, who have besieged the tiny town of Ferguson, and their supporting Liberal Pundits and sycophants on the World Wide Web, have continued their chorus of “innocence due to perpetual victimhood”, in the case of Michael Brown, proving that denial is not just a river in Egypt.

You see, boys and girls, at this point in the Liberal fairy tale narrative of “Mike the Gentle Giant”, with all of the blood-thirsty Liberal Trolls, who have descended upon the town of Ferguson, publicly writhing in anticipation of a Grand Jury Indictment in the trial of Officer Darren Vinson, anything less than that will not satisfy their blood lust.

That is why President Barack Hussein Obama sent Attorney General Eric Holder down to Ferguson. Holder was there to make sure that Officer Vinson in indicted in the “wrongful death” of “Gentle Giant” Michael Brown.

Even if the shooting of the 6’4″, 290 lb. thieving, store owner-bullying, dope-smoking, 18 year-old thug was justified.

Decades ago, when the Ku Klux Klan rode through the nation, innocent black men were hung from the nearest tree, simply because of the color of their skin.

Today, in 2014, it appears that those roles have been reversed.

And, it has been sanctioned by Presidential Decree.

Two wrongs do not make a right…”civil” or otherwise.

President Ronald Reagan once said,

There are no constraints on the human mind, no walls around the human spirit, no barriers to our progress except those we ourselves erect.

Compare it to these words:

It’s not to make excuses for that fact — although black folks do interpret the reasons for that in a historical context. They understand that some of the violence that takes place in poor black neighborhoods around the country is born out of a very violent past in this country, and that the poverty and dysfunction that we see in those communities can be traced to a very difficult history. – President Barack Hussein Obama, 7/19/2014

President Obama, for his own political reasons, reinforces, at every opportunity, the self-fulfilling prophecy that the Black Community is still shackled and limited in their freedom.

Which is an ironic statement, considering, as a Black man, that he presently holds the position of President of the most powerful country on the face of the Earth.

Back in High School, during the 1974-1975 school year, I was a Sophomore Commissioner on the Student Council with a fellow named James. James was one of those students who were bused to our school. He went on to play football and run track. More importantly, James went on to have a 4.5 GPA, make a 32 on his ACT, and receive a full scholarship to Harvard, and later, went on to Johns Hopkins Medical School. James worked hard and he achieved.

Millions of other Black Americans have, as well.

The current race-baiting and racially-based pandering by the President and his Administration dishonors those who have achieved and has constrained those who might otherwise achieve.

AG Holder Goes to Ferguson to Get…err…Seek An Indictment…As the Real Truth Starts to Come Out

Ferguson MO8202014The “war-torn” city of Ferguson, Missouri has a new carpetbagger in town.

MSN News has the story…

Attorney General Eric Holder sought Wednesday to reassure the people of Ferguson about the investigation into Michael Brown’s death and said he understands why many black Americans do not trust police, recalling how he was repeatedly stopped by officers who seemed to target him because of his race.

Holder made the remarks during a visit to the St. Louis suburb that has endured more than a week of unrest fueled by the fatal shooting of the black 18-year-old by a white officer. The Obama administration intended the trip to underscore its commitment to civil rights in general and the Ferguson case in particular.

The attorney general remembered how he was stopped twice on the New Jersey Turnpike and accused of speeding. Police searched his car, going through the trunk and looking under the seats.

“I remember how humiliating that was and how angry I was and the impact it had on me,” Holder said during a private meeting with about 50 community leaders at the Florissant campus of St. Louis Community College.

Holder also met with federal officials investigating Michael Brown’s Aug. 9 death and with Brown’s parents.

While living in the Georgetown neighborhood of Washington, Holder was once running to catch a movie with his cousin when a squad car rolled up and flashed its lights at the pair. The officer yelled, “Where are you going? Hold it!” Holder recalled.

His cousin “started mouthing off,” and Holder urged him to be quiet.

“We negotiate the whole thing, and we walk to our movie. At the time that he stopped me, I was a federal prosecutor. I wasn’t a kid,” he said.

Holder also met briefly with Missouri State Highway Patrol Capt. Ron Johnson, who has been in charge of security in the community for nearly a week since relieving Ferguson police. The National Guard has also been called in to help keep the peace.

Asked whether he had confidence in the local investigation of the police officer, Johnson said Holder’s presence “is a guarantee on that.”

In nearby Clayton, a grand jury began hearing evidence to determine whether the officer, Darren Wilson, should be charged in Brown’s death.

A spokesman for St. Louis County Prosecutor Bob McCulloch said there was no timeline for the process, but it could take weeks.

At the college, Holder told his audience that the most experienced agents and prosecutors would be assigned to the Ferguson investigation.

AG Holder sounds like a man on a purposeful mission, doesn’t he?

About the subject of the Attorney General’s “fact-finding” mission…it appears that Officer Vinson got the s!@t beat out of him.

Foxnews.com reports that

Darren Wilson, the Ferguson, Mo., police officer whose fatal shooting of Michael Brown touched off more than a week of demonstrations, suffered severe facial injuries, including an orbital (eye socket) fracture, and was nearly beaten unconscious by Brown moments before firing his gun, a source close to the department’s top brass told FoxNews.com.

“The Assistant (Police) Chief took him to the hospital, his face all swollen on one side,” said the insider. “He was beaten very severely.”
According to the well-placed source, Wilson was coming off another case in the neighborhood on Aug. 9 when he ordered Michael Brown and his friend Dorain Johnson to stop walking in the middle of the road because they were obstructing traffic. However, the confrontation quickly escalated into physical violence, the source said.

“They ignored him and the officer started to get out of the car to tell them to move,” the source said. “They shoved him right back in, that’s when Michael Brown leans in and starts beating Officer Wilson in the head and the face.”

The source claims that there is “solid proof” that there was a struggle between Brown and Wilson for the policeman’s firearm, resulting in the gun going off – although it still remains unclear at this stage who pulled the trigger. Brown started to walk away according to the account, prompting Wilson to draw his gun and order him to freeze. Brown, the source said, raised his hands in the air, and turned around saying, “What, you’re going to shoot me?”

At that point, the source told FoxNews.com, the 6-foot-4, 292-pound Brown charged Wilson, prompting the officer to fire at least six shots at him, including the fatal bullet that penetrated the top of Brown’s skull, according to an independent autopsy conducted at the request of Brown’s family.

Wilson suffered a fractured eye socket in the fracas, and was left dazed by the initial confrontation, the source said. He is now “traumatized, scared for his life and his family, injured and terrified” that a grand jury, which began hearing evidence on Wednesday, will “make some kind of example out of him,” the source said.

The source also said the dashboard and body cameras, which might have recorded crucial evidence, had been ordered by Ferguson Police Chief Thomas Jackson, but had only recently arrived and had not yet been deployed.

A spokesman for the St. Louis County Police Department, citing the ongoing investigation, declined late Wednesday to say whether Wilson required medical treatment following the altercation.
