Trump Approval Rating Holds Steady, Despite “Legal Investigations” and Fake News Stories

The Washington Post “reports” that

Whether the president faces legal peril is not clear, but his presidency is at a precarious point. Recent polls suggest his repeated attacks on Mueller for leading a “witch hunt” have lost their effectiveness. And if the Democrats win a majority in at least one house of Congress in the midterm elections, now less than 10 weeks away, they would gain the power to investigate or even impeach.

“The whole reason he is freaking out is he can’t get rid of any of this,” said a longtime adviser to Trump, who, like others interviewed for this story, spoke on the condition of anonymity to discuss internal White House dynamics.

The president’s sense of betrayal came through last week when he derided cooperating witnesses as “flippers.” “Everything’s wonderful and then they get 10 years in jail and they – they flip on whoever the next highest one is, or as high as you can go,” he told Fox News. In contrast, he tweeted that his “brave” former campaign chairman, Paul Manafort, who was convicted last week of bank fraud and tax fraud, had “refused to ‘break.’ “

Trump has also focused his ire on Attorney General Jeff Sessions, whom he has repeatedly and publicly attacked for his decision to recuse himself from the Russia investigation. White House aides have explained to him that firing Sessions would not end the probe, but he remains livid, officials said, particularly after Sessions responded last week with a statement declaring that “the actions of the Department of Justice will not be improperly influenced by political considerations.”

The Trump Organization declined to comment for this story. The White House referred questions to Trump’s outside lawyers, who also declined to comment for this story.

And, with good reason.

This Fake News Story is nothing but wish-casting on the part of its writers.

Laura Ingraham’s Lifezette.com reports that

President Donald Trump’s approval rating remains almost unchanged following a week brimming with bad news for his former personal lawyer and former presidential campaign chairman, according to back-to-back NBC News/Wall Street Journal surveys released Sunday.

“We’ve had this enormous series of events, and these numbers don’t change very much,” said GOP pollster Bill McInturff, according to the WSJ.

McInturff and Democratic pollster Peter Hart worked on the two surveys in the days before and after former Trump lawyer Michael Cohen struck a plea deal and former Trump campaign chairman Paul Manafort was convicted on eight of 18 counts.

“For the 2018 Democratic strategy, the Manafort and Cohen convictions represent a fool’s gold opportunity rather than a silver bullet solution,” Hart said, pointing to the upcoming midterm elections in November, according to the WSJ.

The first poll found that 46 percent of American voters approved of Trump’s presidential performance while 51 percent disapproved. The follow-up poll found that 44 percent of American voters approved while 52 percent disapproved.

News of Manafort’s convictions and Cohen’s plea deal broke August 21. The first poll of 900 U.S. voters was conducted from August 18-22 and the second survey of 600 voters took place between August 22-25.

Although mainstream media members and the president’s regular critics immediately pounced on the Cohen-Manafort news as proof that Trump was heading closer to impeachment proceedings and permeated the news cycle with their speculation, Trump’s popularity remained virtually unchanged.

“Surprise, Surprise, Surprise!”

As I wrote on Saturday, average Americans can recognize a political railroading job when they see one.

The Democratic Party continues to overplay their hand, grossly overestimating their own intelligence while underestimating the intelligence of us Americans who live between the coasts in the Heartland of America.

You would have thought that they would have learned not to do that after their plans for a “Democratic Socialist Paradise” were obliterated on the night of November 8, 2016, when we “forgotten Americans” MADE them remember who we were.

But, no.

Modern American Liberals, especially the Far Left Democratic Party, view themselves as “The Smartest People in the Room”

You can’t tell them a thing. They already know it all.

They thought beyond a shadow of a doubt that if they came up with a cockamamie story about Trump colluding with the Russians to sabotage the 2016 Presidential Election in order to defeat their “chosen one”, Hillary Clinton, that the American People would buy it hook, line, and sinker. All they thought they had to do was get a Special Counsel appointed who had political ties to both Clinton and Obama and who would, in turn, appoint Democratic Donors as his “investigators”.

Then that Special Counsel would be given free rein to broaden the scope of his “investigation”, charging everyone who ever even knew Trump with questionable crimes in order to flip them so that they could get to their real target, President Donald J. Trump.

And so far, their plan has been sort of successful…except for one little problem: The Americans who elected Donald J. Trump are still supporting the President, making the Democrats look like fools and their “not-so-silent” coup attempt appear feckless and nothing but Political Shenanigans or as Trump himself describes it, “A WITCH HUNT”.

So, what’s next?

Next, the Special Counsel and his “17 Angry Democrats” will enlist their brethren in the Southern District of New York to go after Trump’s Organization and his family.

Because, as the Democratic Party proved at least of couple of times during the Obama Administration, if they can’t beat our candidates or our traditional Americans Faith and Vlaues,  they will use Liberals working in our Legal System to tear them down.

A strong, prosperous America and the safety and prosperity of average Americans do not matter to the self-righteous Power Brokers of the Far Left Democratic Party.

Regaining their power in Washington, D.C. does.

Manafort/Cohen/Mueller…It’s All Still Just About Hillary Losing

The one thing that hasn’t changed here, the one thing that all of this is about is forcing Donald Trump out of office because the Democrats lost an election. There are no crimes that have occurred here that involve the president of the United States starting with Russian collusion, moving on to obstruction of justice, and even this stuff now with the porn star, Stormy Daniels, Kara McDougal, and the stuff with Paul Manafort, none of it, none of it is going to result in criminal charges against Donald Trump. None of is gonna result in high crimes and misdemeanors.What it’s all gonna lead to is the forthcoming blistering report from the special counsel, Robert Mueller, who remains blind to the actual crimes that have taken place in this entire sordid story. There is clearly now a double standard, a dual system of justice at the highest levels of our Department of Justice. You can see it in the way the DOJ and the FBI exonerated the Democrat presidential candidate when real crimes were taking place for years and years right under their noses, crimes they perhaps even participated in.

Those crimes, because they involved the Democrat nominee, were exonerated. The Democrat nominee herself was exonerated. You go to the Trump campaign, the Republican, the opponent, where there aren’t any crimes, there wasn’t any collusion with Russia, there hasn’t been any obstruction of justice, and yet this is where the allegation of crimes is occurring? And it’s occurring with people who are peripheral to the original charge of all this — Russian collusion, stealing the election?

What is actually happening now is the losers of the election attempting to steal it back. And that’s what all of this yesterday means, it’s why it all happened, and it is what it continues to add up to. Rush is exactly right.

Did you pay any attention to the Democratic Talking Points being spewed out on all of the cable News Channels yesterday?

The Democrats and their Propaganda Arm, the Main Stream Media, were doing everything they possibly could to drive President Trump out of office, which, if you step back and look at it, as Rush says, is the same thing that they have been doing since before Trump was even inaugurated.

The Liberal Pundits are desperately attempting to compare what is going on to Watergate and are attempting to somehow, someway make whatever they are accusing Trump of doing into some sort of impeachable offense.

Where were these Paragons of Virtue when Hillary Clinton was sharing top secret e-mails on a private server while she was running a pay-for-play scheme out of the Clinton Foundation, selling access to foreign countries while she was Secretary of State under Barack Hussein Obama (mm mmm mmmm)?

Why aren’t they investigating “Spygate” and the Clinton-funded FISA Dossier, including the involvement of Clintonistas Cody Shearer and Richard Blumenthal?

Regarding Watergate, the only tape recording going on was that of Michael Cohen’s and that was an abuse of Attorney-Client Privilege.

In this American’s opinion, everything that the Democrats, their Deep State Operatives, and Special Counsel Mueller and his “17 Angry Democrats” have accomplished by all of their efforts to bring down President Donald J. Trump is to cause me to support him that much more.

This all smells like the sort of dirty political “shenanigans” that Sam “Mooney” Giancana and the Chicago Branch of the Mafia used to use when they could not overtly “take out” a politician who would not “play along” with their wishes.

In case you did not know, “Mooney” and the “Boys” delivered Illinois for John F. Kennedy in the 1960 President Election, supposedly after Kennedy Supporter Frank Sinatra asked him to.

But, I digress.

As long as Mueller is allowed to operate outside of the scope of his original mission, he will continue to interfere in the Presidency of Donald J. Trump on behalf of “The Resistance”.

If the President does wait until after the Midterms to relieve Mueller and the “17 Angry Democrats” of their duties, they will not doubt be a part of a purging of the DOJ and FBI that, alluding back to the Mafia, will resemble the activities which went on during the Baptismal Ceremony in “The Godfather”…in a strictly political way, of course.

And that, in itself, would be very entertaining.

Clinton Ally McAuliffe Calls for Trump Impeachment…Ignores Own GreenTech Automotive Scam

Another powerhouse of the left is questioning whether President Trump should be impeached.

“I think that’s something we ought to look at,” former Virginia Gov. Terry McAuliffe, a former Democratic National Committee chairman who helped run presidential campaigns of Bill and Hillary Clinton, told CNN’s “State of the Union” Sunday.

McAuliffe, rumored to be considering a 2020 run for president, disproved of Trump’s special relationship with Russian President Vladimir Putin.

“If President Clinton or President Obama had gone to Helsinki and done what President Trump had done, you would already have impeachment hearings going on,” he told host Jake Tapper, as Politico noted.

“There has to be a reason, Jake, why he is over there acting the way he acts about Putin, then inviting them here, and then saying he may go over there,” McAuliffe added. “Do not forget that they came into the 2016 election, they came in and tried to destroy the greatest democracy in the world.”

McAuliffe is the latest in the Democratic establishment questioning its own actions.

Left-wing billionaire Tom Steyer is the founder of the Need To Impeach campaign, which is aimed squarely at Trump.

The billionaire said earlier this month that while Democratic lawmakers tell him in private about their willingness to back his campaign, many won’t take any public stance.

“Their message to me and the 5.5 million Americans demanding Donald Trump’s impeachment is that it’s bad politics, it’s off message and it will galvanize the Republicans.”

House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., for example, has suggested impeachment could harm Democrats’ future electoral prospects.

McAuliffe also told CNN that the left ought to focus more on jobs and education: “It’s about the values, what you stand for.”

He added: “But our message as a party ought to be, like I had in Virginia, how do you grow an economy? …  How do you invest in education?”

Back in May of 2016, Foxnews.com reported that

Federal officials are investigating whether Virginia Gov. Terry McAuliffe’s 2013 campaign accepted illegal campaign contributions, sources familiar with the investigation confirmed Monday to Fox News.

The Democratic governor and Clinton ally is the target of a Justice Department investigation into whether he violated campaign finance laws.

The probe, first reported by CNN, involves a $120,000 donation from Chinese businessman Wang Wenliang through his U.S. businesses. U.S. election law prohibits foreign nationals to donate to political races.

McAuliffe’s attorney, Marc Elias, said in a statement his office was not aware of the investigation, but would cooperate if contacted by federal officials.

“We cannot confirm the CNN report. Neither the Governor nor his former campaign has knowledge of this matter, but as reported, contributions to the campaign from Mr. Wang were completely lawful,” Elias said. “The Governor will certainly cooperate with the government if he is contacted about it.”

A spokesman for Wang told CNN the businessman holds permanent resident status in the U.S.

Wang also has been a donor to the Clinton foundation, pledging $2 million, CNN reported.

McAuliffe now becomes the second consecutive Virginia governor to be investigated by the Justice Department.

McAuliffe’s predecessor in the governor’s mansion, Republican Bob McDonnell, was convicted on federal corruption charges but has appealed his conviction to the U.S. Supreme Court.

Before winning his gubernatorial campaign in 2013 over Republican Ken Cuccinelli, McAuliffe made his name in national Democratic politics as a prolific, well-connected fundraiser with close ties to Bill and Hillary Clinton.

Although McAuliffe is close to the Clintons, a law enforcement official told the Associated Press that the investigation of McAuliffe is unconnected to a separate FBI investigation looking at the legality of private email servers that Hillary Clinton used while serving as secretary of state.

Last year, McAuliffe’s political action committee, Common Good Va., returned a $25,000 donation from a company with ties to Angola’s state-owned oil company after The Associated Press raised questions about its legality. Federal law prohibits campaigns at any level from receiving money from outside the U.S.

McAuliffe’s international business connections also came under scrutiny prior to his gubernatorial campaign. He served as chairman of GreenTech Automotive, a company that hoped to bring supercompact automobiles to the U.S. market.

The company attracted hundreds of thousands of dollars in foreign investment, in part through a federal program that granted visas to investors who met certain job-creation thresholds.

McAuliffe resigned from the company in December 2012. GreenTech, which received millions of dollars in economic incentives from state and local officials to build a plant in Mississippi, faced criticism for falling well below expectations in production and job creation.

Oh, by the way, in a related story about Hil and Bill, the FBI has transported two planeloads of documents from the Clinton Library in Little Rock, Arkansas back to D.C> as a part of an ongoing investigation.

Now about Green Tech Automotive.

Sitting here in “KJ’s Kastle” in Northwest Mississippi, I had a bird’s-eye view of the whole unseemly mess.

Again, in May of 2016, the Memphis CBS Affiliate, WREG, filed the following report…

ROBINSONVILLE, Miss. — They promised jobs — and lots of them — but after accepting millions in taxpayer money, a Tunica County car manufacturer is refusing to say how many jobs were actually created.

GreenTech Automotive got a $3 million loan from the state of Mississippi in 2011 to build the Robinsonville facility with the promise that they would create 350 jobs. Close to $1.9 million was loaned to Tunica County to support the project.

But now the Mississippi Development Authority said GreenTech has fallen short of the promised 350 jobs.

“If we pay our taxes for it, it should be here,” said Tunica County resident Billy Jackson.

WREG called and emailed the spokesman listed on GreenTech’s website and never heard back.

Tuesday afternoon, we dropped by the Robinsonville plant, where we were promptly greeted by a manager.

“Right now, we’re building cars here, and we don’t talk to any kind of press,” said Terey Agner, manager of GreenTech’s plant.

Agnes refused to say how many people the plant employed.

“No, no, I can’t do anything,” said Agner.

We received a similar response from the Tunica County Chamber of Commerce, which hailed GreenTech’s arrival when it opened its plant in 2014.

“My only statement is that GreenTech has people employed and they are working,” said Lyn Arnold, CEO of the Chamber.

“These companies that come in and expect to get tax breaks and make promises about jobs, they need to keep their word,” said Brooks Taylor, publisher of the Tunica Times.

Taylor has tracked GreenTech’s progress since 2009, when they promised their Robinsonville plant would create 1,500 jobs.

They later revised that figure to 350.

“There’s nothing here. $5 million could have did a whole lot more to the town, to the city and it went to one job, one company,” said Jackson.

In addition to the added jobs, GreenTech had said it would also produce 30,000 cars per year at its plant.

We don’t know if GreenTech is currently meeting that goal.

GreenTech’s Plant in Robinsonville, Mississippi closed its doors in January of 2017.

The company itself filed for bankruptcy in February of the same year.

The company known as GreenTech Automotive was a shady entity from its very beginning.

The Washington Free Beacon presented the following five points to remember about GreenTech Automotive, in an article published in August of 2013…

1. GreenTech fell short on job promises multiple times

McAuliffe told Virginians in 2009 that the new car company would create 1,500 jobs for the state.

McAuliffe did not tell Virginians that the company was also in talks with the state of Mississippi, and would soon opt to move its operations there.

However, things have not panned out with GreenTech in Mississippi either.

McAuliffe projected that GreenTech would be churning out 10,000 cars in its first year and employ thousands.

At this point it is unclear whether GreenTech is producing any jobs. Further informationBelow.]

GreenTech is still operating at what was supposed to be a temporary facility in Horn Lake, Miss.

Although McAuliffe claimed that ground was broken at the company’s planed permanent facility, local investigators found that there was nothing but overgrown grass covering the plot on which it is supposed to be located.

2. GreenTech relies on a foreign “visa-for-sale” investment scheme

At the center of GreenTech’s fundraising operation is the controversial EB-5 visa program.

The program allows foreign nationals to get a visa if they invest $500,000 to $1 million in a project or business that provides U.S. jobs.

GreenTech partners with Gulf Coast Funds Management (GCFM), a company that is authorized by the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) to collect EB-5 investments for GreenTech.

GCFM has collected at least $45.5 million from foreign investors for GreenTech through the program. Anthony Rodham, a close friend of McAuliffe who also happens to be the brother of Hillary Clinton, runs GCFM.

Many have been skeptical about whether the visa program was being used properly.

Virginia officials labeled the company a “visa-for-sale scheme” and feared that doing business with GreenTech could eventually “give the Commonwealth a black eye.”

3. GreenTech is being investigated by the SEC

Both GreenTech and GCFM are targets of a Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) investigation.

Although the details of the investigation are still unclear, both companies have confirmed that the SEC subpoenaed them for documents in May of this year.

Documents made available by Sen. Chuck Grassley (R., Iowa) make clear that the investigation centers around the use of the EB-5 visa program.

McAuliffe, who quietly resigned from the company in December, claims that he had no knowledge of any pending investigation at the time of his resignation.

4. GreenTech is at the center of a Homeland Security investigation

GreenTech and McAuliffe have also found themselves involved in a Department of Homeland Security investigation.

USCIS director Alejandro Mayorkas allegedly assisted Rodham and GCFM win approval for an EB-5 visa application, even after the application and the subsequent appeal were rejected.

Documents revealed that Rodham directly contacted Mayorkas and urged him to approve pending visa applications.

Concerns were also raised that Mayorkas expedited the approval of applicants that were held for “fraud/national security.”

5. GreenTech’s parent company is based in the British Virgin Islands

GreenTech is owned by Capital Wealth Holdings, an investment company incorporated in the tax haven, the British Virgin Islands.

GreenTech president and Chinese businessman, Charles Wang, owns the investment company.

Wang is an expert on the EB-5 visa program and has coached other U.S. companies on how to effectively make use of it.

Of course, Terry McAuliffe saw things differently.

According to McAuliffe, in an op ed piece he wrote at the time for the Washington Post…

I’ve not been contacted in any way by those conducting the investigation and have no knowledge of it beyond what has been reported. From what has been reported, the investigation appears to be looking at a document allegedly prepared for potential investors — something I was not responsible for as chairman.

Republicans have also criticized the company for employing only about 100 people. Of course, that’s about 100 jobs that would not have existed if we had not taken a risk on this company. The company has taken longer to develop than many people expected, including me, but taking a risk on an innovative company is a critical part of the American system, and most business leaders I speak with agree that it’s not uncommon for a company to face challenges meeting its goals.

GreenTech was started because those involved invested their own money in high-tech manufacturing. In this case, it was manufacturing a small electric vehicle that had already won an annual award. Like every start-up during the Great Recession, the company faced headwinds. Those included a bureaucratic slowdown in a bipartisan visa program known as EB-5, which brings capital from overseas to create jobs here in the United States for many companies. I joined a variety of business and political leaders from both parties who expressed frustration to officials at the agency overseeing the program.

A further headwind is that manufacturing isn’t easy, and manufacturing a new kind of car is even harder. The company has invested in research and development, testing and safety to perfect the design. While Nissan worked to develop electric vehicles for about 18 years before launching the Leaf, GreenTech made progress in just a few years during a more challenging economic time. If GreenTech succeeds, it will be a step forward for innovative manufacturing.

I have an interest — both personally and financially — in the company succeeding, and I believe that it will. As a minority shareholder, my return will be determined by the success of a long process of testing, manufacturing, marketing and selling vehicles all over the world.

Like his dear friend, Hillary Clinton, Terry McAuliffe has a history of promising the world and delivering squat.

Democrats incessantly proclaim that they are the party of the average American.

The “temporary” GreenTech Automotive Plant, which was supposed to provide a lot of jobs here in Northwest Mississippi, sits just a couple of miles down the road from where I am writing this post. The fact is, according to both current and former employees, fewer than 100 workers produced no more than one car every two or three days…a legacy of over-promising and under-delivering, Just like the Economic Policies put in place from President Barack Hussein Obama and the Democratic Congress.

Hopefully, those who still work for the cause of justice within the DOJ and the FBI will indict Hillary Clinton and all of those who profited under scams like McAuliffe’s GreenTech Automotive.

Relative morality and situational ethics of the Obama Administration  and the Democrats in Congress sent America heading toward a brick wall of economic Despair and mediocrity, like Crash Test Dummies in the commercials we have seen for decades on television.

Thank the Lord President Trump hit the brakes.

Trump Legal Team Sends Letter to Mueller About Proposed Interview- What’s in It?

President Trump’s legal team said Wednesday they have responded to Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s request for an interview with the president as part of the probe into Russia’s interference in the 2016 election.

“We have responded in writing to the latest proposal from the Office of Special Counsel regarding its request to interview the President,” said Jay Sekulow, an attorney for the president. “It is not appropriate, at this time, to comment publicly about the content of that response.”

Rudy Giuliani, another lawyer for Trump, in a statement reiterated calls to end the Russia probe.

“Millions of pages of documents along with testimony from dozens of witnesses have been provided,” he said. “We’re re-stating what we have been saying for months: it is time for the Office of Special Counsel to conclude its inquiry without further delay.”

Sources have told Fox News that the letter would largely turn down any Trump-Mueller meeting that would include any questions related to obstruction of justice.

Earlier Monday, Giuliani would not go into the details of their offer, but he told Fox News: “It’s not a refusal, but at the same time, it’s not a completely unreasonable position. I can see a way in which [Mueller] may agree with it.”

Giuliani acknowledged that Mueller could try to subpoena the president if an agreement for an interview cannot be worked out. The president’s attorneys have repeatedly stated that they will fight any attempt to subpoena Trump.

Talks between Trump’s lawyers and the special counsel investigating Russian interference in the 2016 election have restarted in recent days, and it is not clear a deal will be struck.

Trump has publicly expressed a desire to be interviewed, but his lawyers have repeatedly objected to the investigators’ proposals.

Trump attorneys say both sides have exchanged proposals for conditions for such a Trump interview.

Okay. So what was in the letter that the Trump Legal Team sent to Special Counsel Robert Mueller?

Harvard Law School Professor Emeritus Alan Dershowitz has an idea…

On “America’s Newsroom,” Dershowitz said that Trump’s lawyers will set a series of conditions that will legally protect the president going forward, which Mueller will not agree to.

“They’re going to make him an offer he can’t accept,” Dershowitz said, arguing that Trump’s team wants Mueller to subpoena the president, which he says will end months from now “in a draw.”

Dershowitz added that Trump won’t be able to be questioned about why he fired former FBI Director James Comey, but could certainly be questioned about the 2016 meeting involving Donald Trump Jr. and a Russian lawyer in Trump Tower.

“I don’t see a crime, at this point, that Mueller can come up with,” he said. “I don’t think you can obstruct justice by exercising your Article II powers under the Constitution.”

He said that it’s “awfully hard” to show Trump’s testimony is actually needed, saying that Mueller could be attempting to capture Trump in a perjury trap.

If the President and his legal team did follow the course which Professor Dershowitz outlined, they have put Mueller between a rock and a hard place.

All along, Mueller has been itching to get President Trump in front of him, in hopes that somehow, someway, he could get the President to make a mistake and contradict himself, so that Mueller could file a perjury charge against him.

And, as the Professor stated, it is going to be hard to show that Trump’s testimony is actually needed, as absolutely no evidence of criminal activities has reared its ugly head in all these many months of Mueller’s and the “17 Angry Democrats'” Russia Probe.

Collusion in itself is not a crime.

President Barack Hussein Obama and Secretary of State Hillary Clinton “colluded” on the night of that 4 Americans were massacred on the ground of the U.S. Embassy Compound at Benghazi, Libya. They “colluded” to do nothing at all. and later. they and their staff, including Susan Rice, “colluded” and decided to blame it all on a video which no one had ever watched.

Later, failed Democratic Presidential Candidate Hillary Clinton “colluded” with John Podesta and decided not to appear at her “victory” party, leaving her loyal voters to suffer their tears of anguish alone.

So, if no crimes have been committed, as Professor Dershowitz, who happens to be a Liberal, said, then why in the world are the Special Counsel and his band of Angry Democrats still expanding their scope of investigation…on OUR dime?

Hopefully, within the next week or so, Mueller will realize that his Quixotic Quest to drive President Trump from office has failed and he will submit his findings and bring this whole embarrassing exercise in futility to an ignominious end.

Then, he and his cadre of Democratic Donors can volunteer on the political campaign bandwagon of Bernie Sanders and that little girl from New York who wants everybody taken care of from cradle to grave via “Democratic Socialism”, but has no clue as to where the money will come from.

If they are going to spend money doing something useless, at least they would be spending their own for a change.

White House Press Secretary Sarah Sanders was asked Wednesday about whether the president condones his supporters’ harassment of CNN reporter Jim Acosta.

The Daily Mail’s David Martosko asked whether Trump believes it’s wrong for his supporters to be “menacing” toward journalists.

Acosta tweeted out video from Trump’s rally Tuesday night in Tampa, which showed people shouting “You suck!” and making obscene gestures toward him.

He wrote that he was worried the “hostility” spurred by Trump could eventually result in someone getting hurt.

Sanders responded by saying that the president doesn’t support violence against anyone or anything.

“We fully support a free press, but there also comes a high level of responsibility with that.”

She followed by criticizing reporters for “routinely” disclosing classified information and government secrets, arguing it has put “lives in danger.”

“Unfortunately, it’s now standard to abandon common-sense ethical practices. This is a two-way street,” Sanders said.

Martosko responded that Acosta was not “broadcasting state secrets,” but Trump supporters tried to prevent him from doing his job by shouting at him while he was on the air. 

Sanders responded by saying, “While we certainly support freedom of the press, we also support freedom of speech and we think that those things go hand-in-hand.”

Trump Tweets About Mueller’s Conflicts of Interest…Why Those are Just the Tip of the Iceberg

President Trump on Sunday renewed his accusations that special counsel Robert Mueller has “conflicts of interest” in his investigation of Russian interference in the 2016 election, citing a previous business dispute between the two men.

In a sequence of tweets attacking the special counsel’s credibility, Trump noted that he and Mueller had “a very nasty & contentious business relationship.”

Trump has alleged on multiple occasions via Twitter that Mueller has unspecified conflicts of interest, however, Sunday’s tweet marks the first time he’s elaborated beyond such accusations.

The president seemingly confirmed a New York Times report from January that said Trump attempted to fire Mueller in June 2017 over alleged conflicts of interest.

The Times reported that Trump listed three conflicts he believed should disqualify Mueller: A dispute over fees at Trump’s National Golf Club in Virginia, his interview for FBI director before being named special counsel, and Mueller’s previous employment at a law firm that represents Trump’s son-in-law, Jared Kushner.

Trump reportedly backed off his demand after White House counsel Don McGahn refused Trump’s order and threatened to quit.

Multiple reports indicated Trump interviewed Mueller for the vacancy, but it’s unclear if Trump turned him down for the position before he was named special counsel in May 2017.

Trump’s accusations about Mueller’s alleged conflicts of interest came amid a string of tweets in which he claimed the special counsel’s team is filled with Democrats.

Trump also falsely claimed Mueller’s probe was sparked by the so-called Steele dossier, and questioned why the special counsel was not investigating Democrats.

The president has attacked Mueller’s investigation with increasing regularity in recent months, frequently decrying it as a “witch hunt” and a “hoax” in an attempt to discredit Mueller and his probe.

So now seventeen members of Mueller’s Investigative Team are Democrat. But, 13…16…17…what’s a few more Democrats in Mueller’s lynch mob, anyway?

Mueller and his cadre of Liberal SS Troops have made it their mission to undermine Trump through the continuance of their Dog and Pony Show, which they euphemistically called “an investigation”.

The more that Mueller and his troops have insisted that they are non-biased, the more information has come forth that they have been and still are holdovers from the Clinton Administration, working as Deep State Operatives to do unto Trump as Brutus did unto Caesar.

They are proving themselves to be nothing but Trump Haters with no actual evidence of any kind that President Trump “colluded” with the Russians.

Several members of Mueller’s Team worked for the same Law Firm, WilmerHale, a huge Donor to the Democratic Party.

If you look at the Total Percentage of Political Contributions made by the Law Firm that Robert Mueller and several of his “investigators” worked for, you will notice that over the last 28 years, Wilmer Hale has donated approximately 8.5 million dollars to individual political candidates with 66% of those funds going to Democrats and only 31% going to Republicans.

Now. let’s get down to the number crunching….

Check out WilmerHale’s political donations for the 2016 Election Cycle. They gave $1,484,082 in total contributions. 76% of that total went to Democrats, including I am sure, a sizable chunk to the Presidential Campaign of Hillary Clinton. Only 21% of their Political Donations for the year of 2016 went to Republican Candidates.

Special Counsel Robert Mueller was a partner at Hale and Dorr LLP, an affiliate of WilmerHale, from 1993-1995. In 1994, that Law Firm gave a Total of $64,525 in Political Donations to Individual Candidates. $40,550 went to Democrats. $23,975 went to Republicans. The percentages broke down to 63% and 37%, respectively.

Robert Mueller was hired at WilmerHale in March of 2014 and stayed there until he was appointed Special Counsel in May of 2017.

That means that he was a contributor through his Law Firm to two Election Cycles, the 2014 Midterm Elections and the 2016 Presidential Election.

For well over one year now, we have been hearing from the Democratic Leadership as to how Special Counsel Mueller’s integrity is above reproach. I do not personally know the man, so I have no first-hand knowledge of whether it is or not.

However, is it just me…or does it appear to be a gross Conflict of Interest for the Special Counsel and several members of his staff, who are conducting an exhaustive, no boundaries investigation searching for possible malfeasance of the part of a sitting Republican President and his staff, to have been members of a Law Firm with a very long and lucrative history of heavy donations to the Democratic Party?

With no evidence of collusion with the Russians on the part of Donald J. Trump having been found and assurances from Mueller that Trump is NOT his target, then what, at this point, is the purpose of the Special Counsel’s Ongoing Investigation?

The only logical conclusion that can be made is that Mueller and his Investigative Team are performing a service not unlike the service that David Axlerod performed for Barack Hussein Obama when he ran for the Senate in Illinois. Mueller and his team are digging up whatever dirt that they can find, using whatever means necessary, including going way out of their jurisdiction, is order to damage and possibly end the Presidency of Donald J. Trump.

That being said, it is time for Trump to get a new Attorney General and for that Attorney General to pull the plug out of the wall from Special Counsel Mueller’s Money Machine.

And, after that, how about some actual investigating of all of the corruption that went on during the Obama Presidency such as The Clinton Foundation’s Pay-For-Play Scandal, Huma Abedin’s familial connections with the Muslim Brotherhood, and, of course, the scandal known as Uranium One.

Mueller would not be able to investigate that one because he was heavily involved in it.

After all…he was the “mule”.

CNN Airs Cohen/Trump Audio Tape About McDougal

Presidential candidate Donald Trump is heard on tape discussing with his attorney Michael Cohen how they would buy the rights to a Playboy model’s story about an alleged affair Trump had with her years earlier, according to the audio recording of the conversation aired exclusively on CNN’s “Cuomo Prime Time.”

The recording offers the public a glimpse at the confidential discussions between Trump and Cohen, and it confirms the man who now occupies the Oval Office had contemporaneous knowledge of a proposal to buy the rights to the story of Karen McDougal, a woman who has alleged she had an extramarital affair with Trump about a decade ago.

Cohen told Trump about his plans to set up a company and finance the purchase of the rights from American Media, which publishes the National Enquirer.

“I need to open up a company for the transfer of all of that info regarding our friend David,” Cohen said in the recording, likely a reference to American Media head David Pecker.

Trump interrupts Cohen asking, “What financing?” according to the recording. When Cohen tells Trump, “We’ll have to pay.” Trump is heard saying “pay with cash” but the audio is muddled and it’s unclear whether he suggests paying with cash or not paying. Cohen says, “no, no” but it is not clear what is said next.

No payment was ever made from Trump, Rudy Giuliani, the President’s attorney, has said. Giuliani has previously acknowledged that the recorded discussion related to the buying the story rights.

The recording, which was provided to CNN by Cohen’s attorney Lanny Davis, was made in September 2016.

“What is this about? This is about honesty versus false disparagement of Michael Cohen.

Why is Giuliani out falsely disparaging Michael Cohen — because they fear him,” Davis said on “Cuomo Prime Time.”

“What do they fear, Chris? Why am I representing him? They fear that he has the truth about Donald Trump. He will someday speak the truth about Donald Trump. The truth is that when Donald Trump said ‘cash,’ which Rudy Giuliani knows that only drug dealers and mobsters talk about cash, it was, you heard Michael Cohen … say what? ‘No, no, no, no.'”

Davis later added: “Ladies and gentlemen, if you voted for Donald Trump, listen to the tape and ask yourself: Is Donald Trump lying when he said he didn’t use the word ‘cash’ and accuses Michael Cohen of using the word ‘cash’? Cohen has been disparaged. Cohen has been insulted and called all sorts of things by people around Donald Trump.”

Alan Futerfas, a lawyer for the Trump Organization, refuted that the tape shows Trump was offering a cash payment.

“Whoever is telling Davis that cash in that conversation refers to green currency is lying to him,” Futerfas told CNN. “There’s no transaction done in green currency. It doesn’t happen. The whole deal never happened. If it was going to happen, it would be a payment to a large company that would obviously be accompanied by an agreement of sale. Those documents would be prepared by lawyers on both sides.”

Cash, in the conversation, was in reference to how a deal would be financed, Futerfas added.

“The word cash came up in the context of the distinction between financing, which is referenced, and no financing, which means a full payment, a total one-time payment.

That’s the context in which the word cash is used,” he said. “Anyone who knows anything about the company or how the President does business knows there is no green cash. Everything is documented. Every penny is documented.”

Court filings said federal prosecutors have obtained 12 audio recordings from the FBI raids on Cohen earlier this year. CNN previously reported that Trump’s lawyers waived attorney-client privilege on the President’s behalf regarding the recording involving him personally.

The discussion relates to whether Trump should buy the rights of the story from American Media, which paid McDougal $150,000 in August 2016 for her story about an alleged 10 month affair with Trump. The story was never published by AMI.

In addition to discussing the McDougal payment, Trump and Cohen are overheard running through a list of potential legal issues, including contesting a New York Times request to unseal divorce records from Trump’s first wife Ivana as well as more mundane matters such as polling numbers and Trump surrogate Pastor Mark Burns.

What in the name of Donna Shalala does this have to do with the original accusation against the 45th President of the United States of America, Donald J. Trump, which Special Counsel Robert Mueller is supposed to be investigating?

The answer is nothing at all.

The reason being that THERE IS NO RUSSIAN COLLUSION. Never was and never will be.

However, gentle readers, what we do have is a lawyer about to be disbarred for breaking Attorney-Client Privilege.

In the law of evidence, a client’s privilege to refuse to disclose, and to prevent any other person from disclosing, confidential communications between the client and his or her attorney. Such privilege protects communications between attorney and client that are made for the purpose of furnishing or obtaining professional legal advice or assistance. That privilege that permits an attorney to refuse to testify as to communications from the client. It belongs to the client, not the attorney, and hence only the client may waive it. In federal courts, state law is applied with respect to such privilege.

This is a bond that attorneys are not allowed to break, even to save their own sorry as…err…self.

There is no doubt in my mind that Attorney Lanny Davis is advising his client, Michael Cohen, to break this sacred bond.

Just who is he?

Lanny Davis, who worked as White House Special Counsel under Bill Clinton, is a staunch supporter of both Bill and Hillary Clinton. He attended Yale Law School with Hillary and says that he has been friendly with her and with Bill ever since.

Davis repeatedly defended Hillary Clinton when she came under attack for her email and server use during the 2016 presidential campaign.

And he went so far as to say that Clinton would have won the 2016 election — if it hadn’t been for James Comey and the timing of his investigation. Davis said that Comey’s letter to Congress, announcing that he was investigating Clinton’s emails, swung the election decisively in Trump’s favor.

Davis made the case in a book, “The Unmasking of the Presidency.” He argued that Comey’s letter came at the worst possible time for Hillary: just a few weeks before the election itself, so that she had no time to address the issues before Americans went to the polls

The plot sickens.

When the original raid on Trump Attorney Michael Cohen’s office in New York happened last August, Fox News reported that

…Cohen’s attorney, Stephen Ryan, said Monday’s raid was conducted by the U.S. Attorney’s office in Manhattan and was based at least partly on a referral from Mueller.

“The decision by the U.S. Attorney’s Office in New York to conduct their investigation using search warrants is completely inappropriate and unnecessary,” Ryan said in a statement. “It resulted in the unnecessary seizure of protected attorney client communications between a lawyer and his clients.”

A source close to the White House also agreed with Trump’s take on the alleged bias of Mueller investigators, saying that “the hiring of all those Clinton people for Mueller’s team was not an accident. It was done to bring down the president.”

Redacted Carter Page FISA Memo Released – Why It is Obvious Who Were and Still Are After Trump

Republicans on the House intelligence committee asked President Trump last month to declassify key sections of the surveillance warrant application for ex-campaign aide Carter Page, according to a letter obtained by Fox News.

The heavily-redacted application outlining the justifications for surveiling Page, which was approved and renewed several times by the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court (FISC), was released over the weekend after a Freedom of Information Act lawsuit.

“Because DOJ (Department of Justice) and FBI continue to obstruct the Committee’s investigation, it is time to put the facts in the public domain,” the letter, dated June 14, states.

The 13 Republicans on the committee, including committee chairman Rep. Devin Nunes, R-Calif., state in the letter that the declassification should be consistent “with the need to protect intelligence sources and methods,” adding that the declassification will “enable the public to understand the DOJ’s and FBI’s basis for obtaining the FISA warrant and three subsequent renewals.”

The Republicans highlight two sections of the document as key to understanding whether FBI and Department of Justice followed proper procedures when they obtained the authority to surveil Page on October 2016.

A key part of the government’s application to the FISC to surveil Page was an unverified dossier containing salacious allegations about President Trump. The dossier was opposition research paid for by the DNC and Clinton campaign.

“… [W]e respectfully request that you declassify and release publicly, and in unredacted form, pages 10-12 and 17-34, along with all associated footnotes, of the third renewal of the FISA application on Mr. Page,” the letter states. “That renewal was filed in June 2017 and signed by Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein.”

The letter states, that on its face, the bureau’s reliance on the dossier appears to violate strict, internal FBI rules.

“The Committee’s investigative findings include DOJ’s and FBI’s use of an unverified dossier of memoranda that was not subjected to proper U.S. government verification and was not handled according to FBI procedures,” the letter says.

It adds: “The FBI’s own Domestic Investigations and Operations Guide (known as the DIOG) prohibits the FBI from using unverified material to obtain a warrant under FISA. The unverified allegations in the dossier were nevertheless presented to the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court (FISC) to obtain a FISA warrant and three renewals on Mr. Page. DOJ also presented a news article that was sourced from the author of the dossier.”

That is an apparent reference to a September 2016 Yahoo News article about intelligence officials probing Page as a possible Russian operative.

Based on the weekend document release, the Yahoo News article was presented to the surveillance court as an independent intelligence stream justifying the surveillance of Page.

But London court records show that contrary to the FBI’s assessments that were presented to the FISC, ex-spy Christopher Steele briefed Yahoo News and other reporters in the fall of 2016 at the direction of Fusion GPS — the opposition research firm behind the dossier.

The lawmakers also advised the President they have requested the senior judge who oversees the FISA surveillance court “to conduct an investigation into DOJ’s conduct in obtaining the FISA warrant and renewals.”

The Justice Department and the White House did not immediately respond to requests for comment from Fox News about the letter or whether the president is considering or has rejected the request. The FBI declined to comment.

Earlier this year, the House intelligence committee also called on Trump to declassify their FISA memo summarizing the warrant application for Page and subsequent renewals, which he did.

Democrats, who later released their own memo, called the declassification a danger to national security at the time, with the FBI issuing a rare public statement that the bureau had grave concerns about material omissions, they believed, impacted the memo’s accuracy.

Rosenstein also voiced reservations on the basis of endangering sources and methods.

Of course he did.

Rosenstein needs to go. Now.

Gentle readers, if the long and winding trail which includes the Carter Page FISA Memo is followed back long enough and strongly enough, I firmly believe that it will lead back to Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and the Former President of the United States of America, Barack Hussein Obama (mm mmm mmmm).

Zeifman believes  that they were death­ly afraid of putting the break-in’s master­mind E. Howard Hunt on the stand to be cross-examined by Counsel to the Presi­dent.  The reason being, Hunt had the goods regard­ing some dirty dealings  in the Kennedy Admin­is­tra­tion that would have made Water­gate look like a kid busting open his Piggy Bank…dealings which purport­ed­ly includ­ed Kennedy’s complic­i­ty in the attempt­ed assas­si­na­tion of Fidel Castro.

Hillary and her associates were acting direct­ly again­st the decision of top Democ­rats, up to and includ­ing then-House Major­i­ty Leader Tip O’Neill, who all believed that Nixon clear­ly had the right to counsel.

The reason that Hillary and the rest came up with the scheme is because they believed that they could gain enough votes on the Judicia­ry Commit­tee to change House rules and deny counsel to Nixon.

In order to pull off this scheme, Zeifman says Hillary wrote a fraud­u­lent legal brief, and confis­cat­ed public documents to hide her decep­tion.

So, if you don’t think that her ethics would preclude her from being involved in this end run around the Constitution, think again.

And, you had better believe that O knew what was going on, as well. He knew that if Trump got in office, his “legacy” would be destroyed.

A ceaseless schemer, Blumenthal was so offensive to the Obama White House that he was banned from an official role at Mrs. Clinton’s State Department. But that barely slowed him down. As documented by Judicial Watch and others, Blumenthal was a constant presence by Mrs. Clinton’s side during her State Department years.

Blumenthal and Shearer are connected to a global network of intelligence and military freelancers. They played a dangerous game meddling in Libyan affairs after the fall of Muammar Gaddafi. They supplied intelligence to Secretary of State Clinton in the weeks leading up to the Benghazi debacle and pitched deals to make money off the Libyan turmoil. ProPublica reports at length on the Blumenthal and Shearer’s Libyan efforts here. According to Judicial Watch’s reporting, during Mrs. Clinton’s State Department tenure, Blumenthal also promoted African business deals and meddled in European Union elections.

As for Shearer, he has a long history of dirty tricks. He’s been linked to Whitewater-era efforts to dirty up Bill Clinton critics; to shakedown politics involving the Cheyenne-Arapaho Indian tribe; and to fronting for Bosnian Serb butcher Radovan Karadzic. Read more about it here and here.

The Guardian reports that the new Shearer document makes some of the same allegations about Mr. Trump as the original Christopher Steele dossier, including “lewd acts at a five-star hotel” in Moscow. It also notes that Steele passed on the Shearer report to the FBI in October 2016, but would not vouch for its accuracy. That’s worth pausing over.

According to the Guardian, Steele provided “a copy [of the Shearer report] because it corresponded with what he had separately heard from his own independent sources.” If the reporting here is accurate, that’s quite a coincidence—that Cody Shearer and Christopher Steele were hearing the same things from different sources at pretty much the same time. A closer look at timelines and sources might be revealing. If Sid and Cody are behind the original Russian dossier sources, that would be big news indeed.

I would not be a bit surprised if that were the case.

So, we’ve got a Machiavellian Scheme to sabotage the campaign and then, the Presidency of Donald Trump, in which the Hierarchy of the FBI bases it’s “proof” on information obtained at a hefty cost from individuals as crooked as a dog’s hind legs.

No wonder Wray and his top agents completely redacted the memo they released over the weekend.

How desperate was the FBI to be using such specious evidence as mentioned in the article above?

Their desperation at the time that they decided to use the Steele Dossier has grown and grown over the succeeding months like a Dung Beetle pushing its prize down a hill like in one of those Walt Disney Nature Films we used to watch in school.

To the point where it seems as if any day now, the DOJ and FBI Hierarchy that were involved in this ugly Deep State Operation will be announcing that they are going to progress from staging a “silent” coup to a full-blown on, deposing the 45th President of the United States of America.

Their problem, however, is that more and more of their own treasonous actions are  being revealed every day.

Donald J. Trump remains the President of the United States of America and his popularity continues to climb in the polls.

…In spite of everything they continue to try to do to him.

I believe that President Trump is waiting for just the right moment to shut this whole dog and pony show down and show Sessions, Rosenstein, Mueller, and the rest of them the door.

Liberal lawmakers and pundits, emboldened by bipartisan outrage over President Trump’s summit with Russian President Vladimir Putin, have kicked up calls to pursue impeachment — indicating the issue could fast become the next litmus test for Democratic candidates.

The discussion follows the recent political frenzy over calls to “abolish” Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE). That effort briefly served as a similar litmus test in the wake of Trump’s zero-tolerance immigration policy, which led to family separations at the U.S.-Mexico border.

The GOP-controlled House countered on Wednesday with a vote on a resolution expressing support for ICE, effectively daring Democrats to go on the record with opposition to the agency. The measure passed, with a total of 133 Democratic representatives voting “present” — amounting to a procedural refusal to take a position despite weeks of heated anti-ICE rhetoric from party leaders.

But where abolishing ICE fizzled for now as a progressive cause, the impeachment controversy could have sturdier legs. At the least, it has forced Democratic leaders to confront and carefully manage pressure from the base.

House Minority Whip Steny Hoyer, D-Md., on Tuesday charged that Trump’s remarks in Helsinki, Finland, were “nothing short of treason” and marked a “dark day” in American history.

Hoyer characterized impeachment, though, as a “distraction,” while still keeping the door open for the process in the future. “There will be time enough to deal with other issues and oversight of the president’s performance when we take back control of the House of Representatives,” he said.

Rep. Eric Swalwell, D-Calif., a member of the House Judiciary Committee, toed the same line on Monday.

“I think that’s premature at this point — we should do all we can to make sure that he’s held accountable, that we conduct the investigations the Republicans have been unwilling to do,” Swalwell said in an interview with The Hill.

“If impeachment is the case,” he added, “it’s because we found impenetrable evidence that we take to the American people and will be accepted by both Republicans and Democrats.”

Elsewhere, the calls are getting louder.

Obama-era CIA Director John Brennan all but endorsed impeachment when he tweeted that “Donald Trump’s press conference performance in Helsinki rises to & exceeds the threshold of ‘high crimes & misdemeanors'” and was “nothing short of treasonous.”

Ron Fein, with Free Speech for People, wrote in The Washington Post that while Trump’s conduct might not rise to the level of treason, “it might still be impeachment-worthy regardless.”

In perhaps the most dramatic sign that the impeachment fight may go mainstream, Texas Rep. Beto O’Rourke — he is running to unseat GOP Sen. Ted Cruz in November in the deep-red, pro-Trump state — has both advocated impeaching Trump and downplayed the Democratic consequences of such an effort.

“Impeachment, much like an indictment, shows that there is enough there for the case to proceed,” O’Rourke said this week, “and at this point there is certainly enough there for the case to proceed.”

Really? What, exactly?

The fact that he misspoke in Helsinki? Big hairy deal.

“But…but…RUSSIAN COLLUSION!!!”

Prove it. Mueller hasn’t.

The fact that he tweets too much?

He is bypassing the Main Stream Media, just like Ronald Reagan did.

The fact that he wants to place a wall on our Southern Border?

The majority of Americans want him to.

Or, is it because he is actually allowing ICE to do their jobs and they are deporting some of your future Democratic Voters?

They should have come here legally.

The fact that he is allowing Obamacare to collapse on its own?

It was failing before he won the 2016 Presidential Election.

Perhaps you would like to impeach President Trump over the fact that he supports our Armed Forces and he wants them to be better equipped than our enemies?

Over the past several years, under a Democratic President, our Brightest and Best were used as guinea pigs in social experimentation for your political causes.

Perhaps you guys are upset because his Foreign Policy of America First is working?

I thought you guys were in the Congress of the United States of America, not the United Nations.

Perhaps you’re upset that we have such a gracious, classy First Lady who speaks 6 languages and who represents her husband and our nation so well at home and abroad?

Non-Profit Led By Hillary’s Press Secretary Trying to Sway Moderate GOPers to Oppose Trump SCOTUS Pick

President Trump hasn’t even announced his Supreme Court nominee and already liberal advocacy groups are pumping millions into campaigns pressuring Republican lawmakers to oppose his pick.

One group at the forefront of these efforts, Demand Justice, has launched what is reported to be a $5 million campaign targeting two moderate GOP senators – Susan Collins of Maine and Lisa Murkowski of Alaska. 

Demand Justice is led by the former press secretary for Hillary Clinton’s presidential campaign, Brian Fallon, and is one of several groups launching an aggressive push to sway moderate senators of both parties to oppose the eventual nominee. 

“The next SCOTUS pick should await the next election, but McConnell won’t wait,” Fallon tweeted last week. “The future of the Court for the next 40 years – and thus the fate of abortion rights, and the ACA – may be decided in the next 3 months.” 

The Washington Post reports the group’s ads will start airing Thursday in Murkowski and Collins’ home states. They focus on the possibility that Trump’s pick to replace retiring Justice Anthony Kennedy could help the court overturn Roe v. Wade, among other major decisions. 

The narrator in the ad pressuring Collins urges Maine residents to call her office and demand she “keep her word.” 

“Senator Susan Collins could be the deciding vote on Trump’s pick for justice. She claims to support a woman’s right to have an abortion, so why won’t she rule out voting for Trump’s anti-choice picks?” the narrator says — in a taste of what swing senators have to look forward to in the coming weeks. 

Fox News reported Thursday that Trump has completed his interviews of Supreme Court candidates after speaking to six judges — Brett Kavanaugh, Raymond Kethledge, Amy Coney Barrett, Amul Thapar, Joan Larsen and Thomas Hardiman. He is said to be focusing on Kavanaugh, Kethledge and Barrett, and is expected to announce his decision Monday.

Republicans currently have 51 votes in the Senate and would ordinarily need 50 to confirm Trump’s nominee, provided Vice President Pence votes with them to break a tie. But with Sen. John McCain, R-Ariz., out battling cancer, if Democrats can remain together and just one Republican defects from the party line, Trump’s nominee would fail to win confirmation.

Besides running ads in both Maine and Alaska, Demand Justice is one of a number of groups that plan to rally outside of the Supreme Court in Washington, D.C., next Monday – the same day that Trump is expected to nominate his choice. 

Much of the ad campaigns and outreach has focused on the possibility that the next justice could provide the vote that would permit states to ban abortion. In Maine, the group NARAL Pro-Choice America plans to take out full-page ads in four newspapers to highlight this issue, as Collins is one of the few pro-choice Republicans in Congress.

…Collins has said she would not support a nominee who shows “hostility” to Roe v. Wade. 

So, who exactly is “Demand Justice”?

According to the New York Times in an article posted on May 3, 2018…

Mr. Fallon has assembled an initial staff that includes judicial experts such as Christopher Kang, a former senior congressional staff member who played a central role in the Obama administration’s vetting of judicial nominees, and Paige Herwig, a former Judiciary Committee aide to Senator Dianne Feinstein of California, the top Democrat on the panel. The new organization will rely on a digital team led by Gabrielle McCaffrey, a digital organizer for the Clinton campaign. Cornell Belcher, a Democratic pollster, will conduct research for the group. About a dozen staff members will be housed in newly leased space near the White House.

Mr. Fallon said he was more than halfway to the initial fund-raising goal. He declined to name donors but said the organization had multiple backers and was also planning to seek smaller contributions online. He spoke recently at the Atlanta conference of the Democracy Alliance, a network of progressive donors that has included the billionaires George Soros and Tom Steyer.

In that article Fallon said that he hopes to raise $10,000,000 in funding in the first year and that he is already halfway there.

Gosh, I wonder where he got the money from? (I’ll give you a hint: either one or both of the last two names mentioned in the above article.)

Being the curious guy that I am, I went to the organization’s website,  DemandJustice.org, and on a page titled “What’s at Stake”, I found the following. One note of advice…put on your wading boots. It’s about to get deep.

Our courts are supposed to be the place that protects the rights of all Americans, but Trump is now stacking them with people loyal to him and his agenda. Trump’s judges are overwhelmingly white men. Many are not at all qualified for their posts. And they consistently hold extreme, right-wing views.

His nominees have a record of favoring big corporations over workers. They have fought to restrict women’s access to reproductive health services and deny equal treatment to LGBTQ Americans.

Trump’s judges also have a clear record of bigoted views when it comes to race. His nominees have defended voter suppression tactics, promoted the racist birther conspiracy against President Obama, and even defended the Ku Klux Klan. His picks also won’t even say they agree with the historic Brown vs. Board of Education decision by the Supreme Court that led to the desegregation of our nation’s schools. 

A majority of Democratic senators have voted for more than half of Trump’s judges.

Long after Donald Trump is no longer our President, his takeover of our courts will keep alive his hateful vision for America for decades to come. 

Trump has bragged that his takeover of our courts will be “country-changing,” and his allies in Congress agree. Senate Republicans are changing the way the Senate works to install Trump’s judges as quickly as possible ahead of the 2018 midterm elections.  Mitch McConnell said his goal is to move America “right of center.”

And how are Democrats in Washington responding? Not very courageously. A majority of Democratic senators have voted for more than half of Trump’s judges.

If we truly want to stop Trump, we can’t surrender this fight.

Have I lost my mind? (Don’t answer that.)

Or, hasn’t every other president been able to choose his own nominees to fill vacancies on the Supreme Court?

Lord knows, Obama did: Kagan and Sotomayor.

And, isn’t it interesting that “Demand Justice” just sprang up and is already halfway funded?

For a party that was “refudiated” (as Sarah Palin would say) on November 8, 2016, they certainly are full of themselves if they believe that they still carry enough political weight to influence the opposition party into going against their own president.

I realize that Susan Collins and the rest of the Never-Trumper RINOs are tone-deaf politically, but certainly they have been paying attention to what is happening in America politically.

Trump, despite the best efforts of the Democratic Party and all of the Liberal non-profits like Demand Justice which work for them, is fulfilling his Campaign Promises to the average Americans who voted for him….with spectacular results.

Gorsuch has proven to be a solid Constitutionalist edition to SCOTUS and I do not see Trump nominating anyone less qualified to fill this vacancy.

If RINOs like Susan Collins value their “government jobs”, they will stand with the Republican Side of the Political Aisle in support of a president whose job performance is growing the ranks of the Republican Party.

If the RINOS fall for the Liberal garbage being spewed by the Democratic Operatives at Demand Justice, they will, quite deservingly, find themselves voted out of office, for they will have betrayed both their political party and their constituencies.

As for the Temper Tantrum-throwing Far Left Democrats, watch for more of these “non-profit organizations” like “Demand Justice” to pop up out of nowhere and attempt to stop President Trump from fulfilling his Campaign Promises to the American People.

And, they will be as successful as Hillary Clinton was.
