Hillary’s Health: The Ignored 800 Lb. Gorilla and the Complicit Main Stream Media

Hill-Health-600-LI

The Democratic Party’s Candidate for the Presidency of the United States of America, Hillary Rodham Clinton, will once again be the subject of a lot of “Water Cooler Talk” across the nation today…despite the Main Stream Media’s ongoing attempts to cover for her.

Realclearpolitics.com reported yesterday that

Hillary Clinton had a massive coughing fit as she began a Labor Day campaign rally in Cleveland, Ohio. She had trouble speaking and thanking local elected officials and had to stop multiple times to cough and clear her throat.

Clinton’s voice did not return to normal for the rest of the speech.

“Every time I think about Trump I get allergic,” Clinton quipped.

“She had quite a coughing fit,” MSNBC anchor Ari Melber remarked. “That’s one of the worst coughing fits I have seen from her.”

The website reported later that

Hillary Clinton had another coughing fit today while criticizing Trump’s policies and agenda on her new airplane. This followed a very long coughing attack she had at a campaign event earlier on Labor Day.

“He seems to have this bizarre attraction to dictators, including Putin. He won’t tell us where he owes $650 million. There’s a lot of rumors about that. And he has made it clear that he doesn’t particularly care if Putin and the intelligence services attack American institutions,” Clinton said as she trailed off into a coughing attack.

“Can I have some water,” Clinton asked an aide.

This went on for some 20 seconds before FOX News decided to cut coverage.

This morning, as I was watching Memphis’ Local CBS Affiliate, owned by the Chicago Tribune, nothing at all was said about The Queen of Mean’s obvious Health Problems during her Campaign Push yesterday.

It’s as if the producers, who are responsible for choosing the news stories to cover, actually believe that if they choose to ignore the 800 lb. gorilla on the sofa which is the failing condition of Hillary Clinton’s Health, that average Americans will not notice her frailty and elect her president.

As I have written in a previous post, America has witnessed this sort of cover-up before.

Franklin Delano Roosevelt, known around the world as FDR, served as the 32nd President of the United States from 1933 to 1945. Paralyzed by a debilitating illness at the age of 39, Roosevelt relied heavily on a wheelchair to get around in private. However, while in public he hid his disability through the use of massive leg braces, canes, crutches, and the support of his aides and the Media.

Back then, Americans get their information free newspapers, the radio, and newsreels which were shown in movie theaters before the main attraction. Therefore, it was relatively easy to hide FDR’s disability from the American Public.

In our present age, with advent of the New Media, which has made Americans their own reporters, it has made keeping anything out of the public eye very difficult, as the Clinton Campaign is finding out.

The obviously feeble condition of Hillary Clinton’s health has been the topic of discussion across the Nation for the last few weeks.

And, rightfully so.

The Presidency of the United States of America is the most important leadership position in the world.

America is still looked upon as the Bastion of Freedom and the Land of Opportunity, even after the poor stewardship of President Barack Hussein Obama over the last almost 8 years.

Quite frankly, the President of the United States of America is expected to keep outrageous working hours in order to perform the duties of the office.

Obama has chosen not to

Hillary will not be physically able to.

Her health condition alone should disqualify her from seeking the office of the presidency of United States.

However, just like FDR, before her, Hillary’s enablers, including the Main Stream Media, are trying their best to cover up her serious medical condition.

Their attempts are failing.

Unfortunately for them, as the last several weeks have shown, and as I have documented, Americans have become our own “reporters” thanks to the “New Media”.

Americans are now living in a  time when the Main Stream Media’s blatant propaganda is no longer believed at face value, as the evidence which refutes it is appearing in the live videos and photographs being shared on Facebook and other Social Media.

This is forcing some in the Main Stream Media to actually do their job, including Liz Kreutz of ABC News, who posted several “tweets” about Clinton’s second coughing fit yesterday, which occurred while taking questions from a sycophantic MSM onboard her new Campaign Jet.

As we enter the Fourth Quarter of the 2016 Presidential Campaign, questions about the Hillary’s Health and the Main Stream Media’s part in an intentional cover-up of the severity of the situation remain.

Have those in authority in the Main Stream Media known about Clinton’s obviously-failing health all this time?

Were they pressured by the Democrat Establishment to hide Clinton’s obvious health issues?

Whether Clinton’s mental and physical issues are the result of the effects of a lifetime of alcoholism, as has been rumored, or, the effects of some sort of congenital disease, does not mater at this point.

The Main Stream Media’s obvious advocacy of Hillary Clinton , including their intentional Media Blackout of stories pertaining to her health is an egregious violation of Journalistic Ethics which endangers the safety of our Sovereign Nation and our Electoral Process.

The cold, harsh reality is the fact that America simply cannot afford to elect a Marxist-Alinsky-ite, whose health is failing, as our next President.

Morally, ethically, mentally, and physically, Hillary Clinton is unfit to occupy the Office of the Presidency of the United States of America.

Until He Comes,

The 2016 Presidential Election: MSM Propaganda VS Social Media and the “Speed of Reality”

19300001338456131339201169760propaganda:  the spreading of ideas, information, or rumor for the purpose of helping or injuring an institution, a cause, or a person. ( “Media’s Use of Propaganda to Persuade People’s Attitude, Beliefs and Behaviors”, web.stanford.edu )

Last night, Realclearpolitics.com reported the following story…

Donald Trump hits the media, particularly CNN, ‘the Clinton News Network,’ at a campaign rally in Harrisburg, Penn. Monday night.

“We have a media that is so dishonest,” Trump said. “These are among the most dishonest people you will ever, ever meet.”

“We are going to punch through the media,” he said. “We have to.”

Trump tonight:

TRUMP: These are among the most dishonest people you will ever, ever meet. These people — you know, I’ve had days where I have said, ‘Boy, this was a great day. I’ll look forward to seeing it tonight or tomorrow and it’s brutal.’ And I say, ‘What happened?’

We are going to punch through the media. We have to! The New York Times is totally dishonest. Totally dishonest. The Washington Post has been a little bit better lately but not good. By the way The New York Times, which is failing badly. I call it ‘The Failing The New York Times.’ Every story that they write is a hit job. I could do the greatest thing in the history of the world. I could come up with a cure for the most horrible disease in the world and they give me a front-page horrible, horrible story. The New York Times is very dishonest but it will be out of business soon. I hope. It will be out of business. It will. Really dishonest reporters. Not all of them, but most of them.

And CNN. CNN is like all Trump all the time. All Trump all the time. You walk out of an interview and you say, ‘that was a good interview’ and then you get killed for the rest of the weekend. So they are so biased toward Crooked Hillary. You know they call it: CNN, Clinton News Network. CNN. Clinton News Network. Totally dishonest. But hopefully a lot of people aren’t watching it.

Don’t worry, Mr. Trump. We aren’t.

Now that the Democratic National Convention is over, Americans have returned to their normal viewing habits. Which means that Fox News is once again kicking the Clinton News Network’s tail., as the stats from Friday, July 29, 2016 clearly show…

Total day: FNC: 1.659 | CNN: 941 | MSNBC: 893 | HLN: 209

Primetime: FNC: 2.373 | CNN: 1.187 | MSNBC: 1.451 | HLN: 280

As I have written before, thanks to today’s 24-Hour News Cycle, Cable News Network Reporters have tossed broadcast journalism out the window in favor of political activism.

And, with the undisputed fact that the overwhelming majority of cable news reporters are flaming Liberals, this means that  news favorable to Hillary Clinton and detrimental to Donald J. Trump will be what Americans are most likely to see when they turn on CNN, MSNBC, and the News Programs of the Broadcast Channels, CBS, NBS, and ABC.

Fox News continues to lead in the ratings for the cable news channels because, quite simply, they are more “fair and balanced” than CNN and MSNBC.

Conservatism remains the political ideology of the majority of Americans.

Try as they might, Liberal reporters and pundits cannot force Americans, especially those of us in “the Red States”, to believe the propaganda that they are peddling.

Even, when a push poll by CBS/The New York Times proclaims that The Queen of Mean, Hillary Rodham Clinton, has taken a lead after the  Police Line-up that was DNC 2016.

We would rather believe our own eyes.

For example, after cancelling a stop at a furniture maker in Cleveland, Ohio, according to Jim Hoft of The Gateway Pundit,

CowG64-W8AA-HL-…Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton made a stop Sunday to speak at Imani Temple Ministry.

Less than 100 people were there to see her preach from the pulpit.
(The event was in Cleveland not Columbus.)

th5RM6A420 Meanwhile, Trump spoke to a packed house at his Cleveland Rally.

In this age of instantaneous communication via Social Media, Americans have become their own on-the-scene-reporters, often foiling the planned use of propaganda by outlets such as CNN, simply by being there and sharing the event with their friends on Facebook or Instagram.

That contrary and factual information is then disseminated through the use of that same “New Media” to reach Americans from coast-to-cast, nullifying slanted stories delivered through the Traditional Media, sometimes even before they are released.

In this wonderful Technological Age that we are living in, average Americans have the ability to share information at the “speed of reality” itself. A fact which is the cause of great consternation and falling ratings to those news outlets who are attempting to be the Vanguard who ushers in a Clinton Presidency.

Marshall McLuhan once wrote that

The Medium is the message.

He was saying that mass communication influences the way that we see things and that those bringing it have to be perceived as being trustworthy in order to be believed by those receiving their “message”.

Unfortunately for CNN, their history of pandering to Liberal Causes, the Democratic Party, and the Clintons, in particular, is well-documented and has led to their, as Trump remarked, being known as “The Clinton News Network”.

Equally unfortunate for them and the rest of the Liberal Media, is that fact that Americans have become our own news reporters.

And therefore, propaganda does not work as well as it used to.

…not as long as Americans stay informed.

Until He Comes,

New Poll Shows Trump Has Best Chance to Beat Clinton. Why? “It’s the Economy, Stupid.”

Deja-VuAs Donald J. Trump’s Campaign for the Republican Presidential Candidate Nomination continues, the reality of a Trump Victory is beginning to crystalize in the minds of both his Political Opponents, in both parties, and the American Voter.

The Washington Post, in an op ed disguised as a news article, reports that

NEW YORK — The volatility of the Republican presidential race threatens to undermine the party’s July convention, putting potential donors on edge, raising security concerns and prompting some GOP politicians, including those in competitive reelection battles, to skip the Cleveland gathering altogether.

A bungled and possibly contested convention could have lasting repercussions not only for the eventual nominee but also for the Republican brand. Party leaders fear that a week of contentious floor fights, inflammatory rhetoric and potentially violent protests could project a negative image to voters nationwide.

Compounding the challenges facing organizers are the expectations of Donald Trump, who asserted in an interview that he should have at least partial control over programming, stagecraft and other issues by virtue of his front-runner status — even if he does not have the delegates to secure the nomination beforehand.

Trump blasted the GOP’s last convention, in Tampa four years ago, as “the single most boring convention I’ve ever seen.” The billionaire real estate mogul and reality-television star said it was imperative that this year’s gathering have a “showbiz” quality — and he cast doubt on the ability of the Republican National Committee, which oversees the convention, to deliver.

“It’s very important to put some showbiz into a convention, otherwise people are going to fall asleep,” Trump said in a 45-minute interview here last week in his Trump Tower office. “We don’t have the people who know how to put showbiz into a convention.”

Speaking of dull…

…Former Florida governor Jeb Bush, a Trump critic and unsuccessful 2016 presidential candidate, will not go. Sen. Mark Kirk, facing a tough reelection challenge in blue-state Illinois, announced last week that he would not attend, while Sens. Kelly Ayotte (N.H.) and Richard Burr (N.C.) told CNN that they probably will stay away.

In that same article, Trump blasts the Republican National Committee for placing this year’s convention in the hugely Democrat City of Cleveland.

In a related statement, the writer describes into detail, preparations being made by the Municipal Authoritities to equip the police with right gear, amid preparations for the Republican Convention.

There has been a lot of buzz among the Establishment Republicans and the Main Stream Media, that the expected violence, following a possible Trump Nomination, will be reminiscent of the 1968 Convention, during which riots occurred.

What they fail to mention, is that, unlike the 1968 Convention Riots over the Vietnam War, these riots will be bought and paid for, by sponsors such as billionaire Puppet Master George Soros and the Communist Party of the United States, who played a part in financing the protesters who camped out during the Occupy Wall Street Debacle, during which the unwashed wannabe hippies, left the safety of their mom’s basement, to set up tents and cities, in a protest against capitalism, during which they attacked female protesters and defecated on police cars.

Make no mistake, the Main Stream Media will report these protests as something noble. However, as seen during the Trump Republican Primary Campaign, they will be simply a means by which to disrupt Trump’s momentum and to deny him and his supporters their Constitutional Rights, in order to preserve the power of the Wisconsin professional politicians, especially on the left side of the Political Aisle, and to preserve the Washington Status Quo.

Why has so much money been spent, through the purchase of political ads and the paying off of professional protesters, by both sides of the political aisle, in their efforts to stop billionaire entrepreneur Donald J. Trump?

After all, if you believe the polls, as put out by Liberal Organizations, such as the Washington Post and NBC, Trump does not have a snowball’s chance in Hades of beating the presumptive Democrat Candidate, Hillary Clinton.

Well…as the late, great Paul Harvey used to say…

And now, Anericans….the rest of the story…

Last Friday, Foxnews.com reported that

A new FOX News poll shows Republican Donald Trump leading Ted Cruz by 18 points, while Democrat Hillary Clinton now only has a two-point lead over Bernie Sanders.

Voters polled believe Donald Trump has the best chance of beating Hillary Clinton this fall, but they don’t think he’s the right person to negotiate with Russian President Vladamir Putin, Clinton fits that bill instead.

65% of Republicans think Trump has the knowledge to effectively serve as President, while only 12% of Democrats do.

So why do you suppose, that Trump was picked by the Americans participating in this poll, to have the best chance of beating Clinton?

The answer is simple.

It’s the economy, stupid.

In that same poll, those responding said that the economy is the single most important issue in the upcoming presidential election. Donald J Trump is a self-made billionaire. He knows how to create jobs. He understands Capitalism, the engine that runs America and her economy, don’t want a trumpet some self made billionaire. He knows how to create jobs.

Hilary, just like her former boss, Barack Hussein Obama, believes in “sharing the wealth”. She is just as big a socialist as Bernie Sanders.

Americans understand that fact.

When the only jobs that an economy is adding every month are government jobs, that country is moving in the wrong direction.

Too many Americans have been out of work for too long a period of time.

Americans are tired of the empty promises that they have heard since 2009, made by professional politicians on both sides of the political aisle.

That is why Donald J. Trump is presently enjoying a wide lead in the state of California, Pennsylvania, and his home state of New York.

The majority of Americans have had their fill of Professional Politicians, who promise the Moon, but deliver dust.

It is time to try something new.

“You Say You Want a Revolution?” Palin Warns Republican Elite Not to “Underestimate the Wisdom of the People”

untitled (52)

To say that things remain heated, regarding the possibility of a Republican “Brokered” Convention occurring this summer in Cleveland, would be an understatement.

USNews.com reports that

Voters will “rise up” in opposition if Republican power brokers try to take the presidential nomination away from Donald Trump or Ted Cruz at the GOP convention this summer, Sarah Palin said Thursday in a wide-ranging interview.

The 2008 vice presidential nominee told The Associated Press that GOP voters have the right to decide the party’s nominee and will rebel if House Speaker Paul Ryan or some other “white knight” is chosen at a contested convention. Ryan said this week he will not seek or accept the nomination.

Palin said voters know better than to be fooled by party leaders.

“How dare they?” Palin asked, denouncing “arrogant political operatives who underestimate the wisdom of the people.”

If party leaders try to intervene at the July convention, “we will rise up and say our vote does count, our activism does count,” she said.

Palin said she is not convinced by pledges from party leaders that the GOP nominee will be chosen from among those running for president.

“There are some snakes in there,” she said of party leaders. “I’ve had to deal with the political machinery my whole career.”

Palin said she plans to attend the convention in Cleveland, but she conceded that she may have to “invite myself to the party.”

“I can’t see any of them inviting me,” she said of party leaders. “I think they are afraid of what I would say.”

Palin, who has endorsed Trump, said she is confident he will win the GOP nomination, but said she can support Cruz if he emerges as the nominee.

She said she backs Trump because he is “so reasonable and so full of common sense and knows that for America to be great again we have to develop our natural resources” such as oil and natural gas.

While some GOP leaders worry that Trump’s disparaging comments about women, minorities and others have him struggling in the polls with key voter blocs, Palin said Trump would be the GOP’s strongest nominee. Trump has created the “big tent” that party leaders have long been seeking, she said, citing the billionaire businessman’s appeal to independents and “blue dog Democrats” in the South and other rural areas.

Palin said she was not concerned about some of Trump’s comments about women, saying she has known him for years “and I know the respect he has for women.”

Trump “doesn’t have high-paid consultants and pollsters and spinsters trying to spin him into something he’s not,” she said. “He takes advice from strong, confident women in his life, like his wife and daughter.”

While Palin said she could support Cruz, she said it was “unfortunate that he has people around him who are not truthful. I sure want to believe it’s the people around him and not Cruz as a person who would flip-flop on so many issues,” including trade and immigration.

“He was there at the border incentivizing illegal families coming on over the border with gift baskets of soccer balls and teddy bears and now he says he was never for amnesty. Yes, you were, dude, come on,” Palin said.

Political Operatives, like Liberals, on both sides of the Political Aisle, love to brag that they are the most intelligent and the most tolerant people in any room that they walk into.

That is a bunch of self-conceit and downright baloney.

When a Conservative (the political ideology of majority of Americans) calls them on their overestimation of their intelligence, and humiliates them in public, if you will (as Legendary Professional Wrestler, the “American Dream”, the late Dusty Rhodes, used to say), they stalk them, like a hyena stalking a wounded gnu, waiting for the opportunity for revenge.

For example, even though they insist that the Arctic Fox is nothing but a has-been, reality show-starring ‘chillbilly”, they still secretly view her as  a thorn in their Collective Side.

And, that is why Governor Palin endorsement of the Republican Primary Front-runner, Donald J. Trump, continues to be a BIG DEAL.

As I continue to write about the 2016 Presidential Primary Campaign Season,  mistake about my political ideology:

I AM STILL A REAGAN CONSERVATIVE.

That being said, I am enjoying the stew out of Trump’s gigging of the Washingtonian Status Quo and his expertise in the art of “Political Jiu-Jitsu”, through the trumpeting of his own horn, in order to achieve free publicity for his campaign.

Since he announced that he was seeking the Republican Nomination, Americans have heard self-appointed Liberal and “dejected Conservative” Political Pundits grouse and whine that Palin’s endorsement is an albatross around the neck of Trump, and that she brings nothing to the table.

They’re full of it.

If these “pundits” are anticipating trying to defeat Donald J. Trump and Sarah Palin, in a battle of wits…they are woefully unarmed.

Of the 41 candidates Palin endorsed in 2009,2010, and 2012, 30 of them earned victories.

In 2012, she endorsed the following winners: Rand Paul, Marco Rubio, Tim Scott, Pat Toomey, Nikki Haley, Deb Fischer, Jeff Flake and Ted Cruz, himself.

That is the reason that he was so gracious and kind toward her, when her endorsement of Trump was announced.

Not too shabby, huh?

Former Governor Palin is right.

Both Trump and Senator Cruz have struck a resident note with the majority of American people because they are saying the things which we would like to say to these professional politicians, who have forgotten who gave them their phony baloney jobs.

Those protecting the Washington Status Quo, both Liberal Democrats and Vichy Republicans, have had their way in the course of a great many things, during the nightmarish Presidency of Barack Hussein Obama.

Plain talk and forthrighteousness have been replaced by weasel words and political correctness.

The fulfilling of promises made to constituencies by Republican politicians, has been replaced by “Vichy Republicans” “going along to get along” with their drinking buddies from across the Political Aisle.

Just as the colonists revolted against taxation without representation, I believe that we are seeing, through the support of these two men, especially the support given to the “Political Outsider”, Donald J. Trump, the beginning of a revolt by average Americans, like you and me, living here in the Heartland of America, who have had enough of lies and broken promises, given to them, by Professional Politicians who are supposed to be serving them and not the other way around.

Last summer’s backlash against Barack Hussein Obama’s reluctance to lower the American flag on all government buildings after the massacre of five of our Brightest and Best, after he and Valerie Jarret immediately bathed the White House is a rainbow of spotlights, after the Political Activists in the Supreme Court legalized Gay Marriage, was just a prelude to what we are experiencing in the Republican Primary.

The American people are getting ready to exercise their Constitutional Right to determine the future of our nation, in a mighty way in November of 2016.

I have a Word of Warning to the Republicans on Capitol Hill:

It is time to man up, boys and girls, and actually represent your constituencies, and not yourself.

Vichy  (Establishment) Republicans, if I were you, I would heed “Sarahcuda’s” warning.

As actor Kevin Kline, playing the title role in the movie “Dave”, in which he impersonated the Presidency of United States, said about the presidency,

This is just a temp job, at best.

Truer words have never been spoken.

Those words apply to Congress, as well.

Get the hint, Republicans Party Leaders.

Lead, follow…or, get out of the way.

7.8% Unemployment: Figures Lie. Liars Figure.

The hot topic right now, is  a fortuitous lower Unemployment Rate that miraculously appeared in yesterday’s Jobs Report.

Noel Sheppard of newsbusters.org has the story:

The unemployment rate decreased to 7.8 percent in September, a number certain to impact the presidential race.

Pundits have been saying for months this number had to drop below 8 percent for it not to be a hindrance to President Obama’s reelection chances.

The economy added 114,000 nonfarm payrolls in the month according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics with gains in healthcare, transportation and warehousing.

Truly shocking in the report was that the number of unemployed people dropped by 456,000 to 12.1 million.

Maybe more shocking, total employment, as measured by the Household Survey, rose by 873,000 in September to 142,974,000, the biggest one month jump since June 1983.

As such, total employment now stands at the highest level it’s been since December 2008 before Obama was inaugurated.

But even more mysterious is the divergence in the two surveys done by the Labor Department.

The Household Survey showed a gain of 873,000 people employed in September – resulting in the surprise drop in the unemployment rate – while the Establishment Survey only showed a rise of 114,000.

Here’s an interesting fact:

At least two economists at the Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) have contributed to President Barack Obama’s campaign. Harley Frazis of Bethesda, MD, has contributed at least $2,000 to Obama and $9,000 to the Democratic National Committee over the last three election cycles. During his time at BLS, Harley has published a number of papers including his most recent, “How to Think About Time-Use Data: What Inferences Can We Make About Long- and Short-Run Time Use from Time Diaries?”

Stephen Phillips of Washington, D.C., has contributed at least $270 to Obama during the 2012 cycle. According to his LinkedIn profile, Phillips served as an economist at BLS between June 2009 and July 2012. Phillips was responsible for examining the impact of Obamacare on Healthcare North American Industry Classification System indices. Phillips was also assistant coach for a girls’ high school tennis team in 2010.

To say that yesterday morning’s jobs report released by the Bureau of Labor Statistics is being met with skepticism is an understatement.

Labor Secretary Hilda Solis appeared on CNBC yesterday morning, where they actually asked her if the books were cooked.

Solis called the charges insulting and “ludicrous.”

Douglas Holtz-Eakin, a former economics adviser to John McCain and the former head the Congressional Budget Office, calls the numbers “implausible.”

“Sept. unemployment rate fell to 7.8 percent due to an extraordinary – but implausible – estimate of 873,000 #jobs in household survey,” said Holtz-Eakin on Twitter.

“The report presented a slew of contradictory data points, with the total employment level soaring despite the low net number,” said CNBC’s Jeff Cox.

The Washington Post’s Neil Irwin adds, “Weird that payrolls are exactly on forecast but household survey is far better.”

And the Wall Street Journal warns that these numbers should be taken “with a grain of salt.””The big jump in the household survey is certainly a welcome sign. But take this data with a grain of salt, especially considering the volatile reputation this data point holds,” writes the Wall Street Journal.

“No way in the world these numbers are accurate,” said Ed Butowsky of Chapwood Capital Investment on Fox Business. “Somebody needs to do an investigation. … Investigate these numbers.”

The Republican Candidate for President agrees.

“This is not what a real recovery looks like,” Mr. Romney said in a statement, pointing to what he said was a downward trend of job-creation. “We created fewer jobs in September than in August, and fewer jobs in August than in July, and we’ve lost over 600,000 manufacturing jobs since President Obama took office.”

The Bureau of Labor Statistics‘ key jobs survey said the economy added 114,000 new jobs in September, and BLS said the unemployment rate dipped to 7.8 percent — a drop of three-tenths of a percent.

That means the rate is now back down to what it was in January 2009, when Mr. Obama took office, inheriting a recession from President George W. Bush.

BLS also revised July and August job numbers upward by a combined 86,000, suggesting a slightly better jobs picture over the summer than was reported at the time.

The jobs news comes just two days after Mr. Romney seemed to be gaining momentum from a strong debate performance.

The Republican presidential nominee loses a major talking point from the campaign trail, where he regularly talked about the streak of consecutive months the unemployment rate had remained above 8 percent.

Mr. Romney on Friday said the jobs picture is still bleak — particularly because of the millions who have dropped out of the market altogether.

“If not for all the people who have simply dropped out of the labor force, the real unemployment rate would be closer to 11 percent,” Mr. Romney said in his statement. “The results of President Obama’s failed policies are staggering — 23 million Americans struggling for work, nearly one in six living in poverty, and 47 million people dependent on food stamps to feed themselves and their families. The choice in this election is clear. Under President Obama, we’ll get another four years like the last four years. If I’m elected, we will have a real recovery with pro-growth policies that will create 12 million new jobs and rising incomes for everyone.”

A Cleveland , Ohio businessman summed up America’s economic problems in one sentence:

Potus stopped to meet people waiting for him, where he did the requisite hand-shaking, high-fiving and the rare baby-holding before going on to chat with proprietors at Turczyk’s Meats and the adjoining Larry Vilstein’s, Christopher Bakery and Edward Badbuster & Son. He then asked the proprietor at Rolston Poultry how business was going. “Terrible since you got here,” the man said. Pool could not get close enough to the Rolston Poultry man to get his name or political affiliation. Potus didn’t appear amused by the sentiment.

Hang in there, sir. Things will get better after we throw the Manchurian President out of OUR house.

C’mon, November 6th!
