Obama Administration to Begin Recruiting Illegals to Join Armed Forces, While Firing Americans

The last couple of days, I have caught a lot of flack from Liberals, concerning my post about President Barack Hussein Obama’s nonchalant “Semper Latte” Salute to the members of our Brightest and Best, as he stepped off of “Marine One”, on his way to speak at the United Nations General Assembly.

My reply to them was,

It is all about context.

Today’s post proves my point.

The Army Oath of Enlistment reads…

“I, _____, do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; and that I will obey the orders of the President of the United States and the orders of the officers appointed over me, according to regulations and the Uniform Code of Military Justice. So help me God.” (Title 10, US Code; Act of 5 May 1960 replacing the wording first adopted in 1789, with amendment effective 5 October 1962).

That is the oath that every American Citizen swears when they join our Army. Soon, it won’t just be American Citizens  “serving” in the US Army.

A small number of undocumented immigrants in the U.S. will have an opportunity to join the military for the first time in decades under a new Department of Defense policy unveiled Thursday.

The new rules will expand an existing program allowing recruiters to target foreign nationals with high-demand skills, mostly rare foreign language expertise or specialized health care training.

For the first time, the program — known as Military Accessions in the National Interest, or MAVNI — will be open to immigrants without a proper visa if they came to the U.S. with their parents before age 16. More specifically, they must be approved under a 2012 Obama administration policy known as Deferred Action for Child Arrivals, or DACA.

The new Pentagon policy may be the first phase of a broader government-wide effort to ease pressure on immigrants and create new paths to citizenship. President Barack Obama, frustrated with the failure of Congress to pass any substantial immigration reform, has vowed to aggressively use his presidential authority to change the way immigration policies are carried out.

The Pentagon program is capped at 1,500 recruits per year. Officials say it’s unclear how many of those might be unlawful DACA status immigrants as opposed to others who are also eligible for military service under MAVNI, including those with legal, nonpermanent visas such as students or tourists.

Estimates suggest between 1.2 million and 2.1 million children, teenagers and young adults in the U.S. have no legal immigration status but meet the criteria for the DACA program. Those targeted by recruiters under the MAVNI program likely will be immigrants with language skills critical to national security, such as Arabic, Chinese, Pashto or Persian.

The last bipartisan U.S. Commission on Immigration Reform wrangled with the topic of Illegal Immigration for six years.

President Bill “Bubba” Clinton appointed former congresswoman and Democratic icon Barbara Jordan as its chair. Jordan came from humble beginnings to become a lawyer and the first Southern black woman elected to the House of Representatives. A DEMOCRAT, she was a leader in the civil rights movement, a professor of ethics, a recipient of the Presidential Medal of Freedom, and a world-class orator (two of her speeches are considered among the greatest of the 20th century). Her appointment gave the commission instant credibility. According to Jordan, she believed her responsibility as the head of the commission was to restore credibility to the U.S. immigration system. On the issue of illegal immigration, Jordan was very clear and succinct:

Unlawful immigration is unacceptable. Those who should not be here will be required to leave.

That “whirring” sound you hear is Rep. Jordan spinning like a pinwheel in her grave.

Not only has this imbecilic Administration deemed the people who have broken into our country to be “righteous”, Obama and his Department of Defense are going to allow them to serve in our Armed Forces.

How are recruits who are here ILLEGALLY going to swear allegiance to a country of which they are not even citizens?

Nearly 30,000 soldiers must be removed from the active rolls in the next 17 months if the Army is to make the first waypoint in a drawdown that eventually will reduce the force to 450,000, or even 420,000, soldiers.

As of April 1, there were 519,786 troopers on active duty, according to the most recent accounting of Regular Army strength by the Defense Manpower Data Cnter.

The personnel total includes 4,000 West Point cadets and several hundred soldiers who are processing for separation because of physical disability, and several hundred others who have been identified for involuntary separation or retirement because of indiscipline or selection by force reduction boards.

Since the beginning of the drawdown in October 2012, Army strength dropped from 550,000 to 530,000 by the end of fiscal 2013.

Budget projections indicate the Army will end fiscal 2014 on Sept. 30 with 510,000 soldiers. With that level of manning, the service will have to cut the active force by 20,000 soldiers in 2015.

Sources say about 15 percent of the annual reduction will be achieved through involuntary separations generated by the 2014 Qualitative Service Program boards for NCOs, and the officer separation boards that met in April for captains and majors in overstrength year groups.

Involuntary separations generally do not take effect until several months after Pentagon officials approve the results of selection-out boards.

Because of budget pressures, the pace of the ongoing drawdown has been accelerated, so that active component manning is slated to hit 490,000 by the end of fiscal 2015, which is 23,000 fewer soldiers than previously planned.

Does everybody have their heads wrapped in duct tape to prevent them from exploding? Good.

Let me see if I can get this straight.

Obama and his mindless minions at the Department of Defense are going to allow those with no loyalty whatsoever to the United States of America to serve in OUR Armed Forces.

Meanwhile, he is getting rid of those American citizens who are presently serving with honor and distinction, while drawing down our military to pre-World War II levels.

Simultaneously, all appearances seem to indicate that “Military Advisors”, currently on the ground in Iraqi-nam, will be joined by more.

Obama himself has said that this “military action” against ISIS will be a long, drawn-out affair.

Especially, if he continues to eliminate the military positions of those who defend us and replaces those American citizens with Illegal Immigrants.

Because, evidently, their loyalty can be bought.

The Bergdahl Deal: When Bowie Comes Marching Home

Obamabergdahl2I have been writing all week about the inequitable trade, made by the President of the United States of America, Barack Hussein Obama, in which he released 5 “4 Star General”,Afghan Muslim Terrorists, into the welcoming arms of the Muslim Nation of Qatar.

In return, we got an American soldier, who had supposedly been held in captivity by Afghan Muslim Terrorists for the last 5 years.

Needless to say, Obama believed that both he and Pfc. (now Sgt.) Bowe Bergdahl would be hailed as heroes.

Obama overestimated his own intelligence. Evidently, he did not think that the real truth about Bergdahl would ever come out.

Major mistake.

Per foxnews.com,

Fellow soldiers who remembered Bergdahl as an outsider who studied Rosetta Stone lessons in the native language and talked of hiking to China, told Fox News they believe Bergdahl is a deserter, an offense punishable by death in the military code of justice.

“Yes, I do believe he deserted, without a doubt in my mind,” Cody Full told Megyn Kelly Monday. “He did not serve the United States with honor. We all took an oath — he violated his oath when he deserted us and put other Americans in jeopardy.”

Despite the conflicting claims, sources who had debriefed two former members of Bergdahl’s unit told Fox News Bergdahl left behind a note the night he left base in which he expressed disillusionment with the Army and being an American and suggested that he wanted to renounce his American citizenship and go find the Taliban. U.S. military officials would not confirm the existence of the letter, but if it does exist, it would likely be part of the original file on the investigation into Bergdahl’s disappearance.

Some of Bergdahl’s activities prior to his disappearance, including reportedly mailing his gear home, indicated premeditation, according to Full, a 25-year-old former infantryman now living in Houston. It bothers them that a soldier they believe betrayed his comrades, possibly leading to their deaths in subsequent rescue efforts, could be seen as a hero.

“I just don’t want to see him hailed as a hero and I just want him to face the consequences of his own actions and possibly face court-martial for desertion,” Gerald Sutton, a 31-year-old Michigan college student who left the military in 2012 after serving with Bergdahl in Afghanistan, told Kelly.

The accusations are not new. Almost from the beginning, there were questions about the circumstances that led to Bergdahl’s capture. He would later say on a hostage video released by his captors that he had been snatched after falling behind his patrol. But a Pentagon probe in 2010 concluded that evidence was “incontrovertible” that Bergdahl walked away from his unit near the Pakistan border, according to a former Pentagon official who has read it. 

Unfortunately for Obama and his Administration, it was not just his fellow soldier, who witnessed Bergdahl’s Desertion.

According to The Washington Post…

Until now, few details have emerged about the circumstances of Bergdahl’s disappearance from his base. But The Washington Post has reached Afghan villagers who spotted Bergdahl shortly after he slipped away from his base. To them, it’s clear something was wrong with the American. And he seemed to be deliberately heading for Taliban strongholds, they say.

“It was very confusing to us. Why would he leave the base?” said Jamal, an elder in the village of Yusef Khel, about a half-mile from the American military installation. (Like many Afghans, he goes by only one name). “The people thought it was a covert agenda – maybe he was sent to the village by the U.S.”

Locals remember Bergdahl walking through the village in a haze. They later told Afghan investigators that they had warned the American that he was heading into a dangerous area.

“They tried to tell him not to go there, that it is dangerous. But he kept going over the mountain. The villagers tried to give him water and bread, but he didn’t take it,” said Ibrahim Manikhel, the district’s intelligence chief.

“We think he probably was high after smoking hashish,” Manikhel said. “Why would an American want to find the Taliban?”

And now, the best laid plans of mice and men have gone awry.

In calling off the June 28 event, the officials cited concerns that they lacked the resources to safely manage the thousands of supporters and protesters who were expected to converge on the small mountain community of 8,000 residents.

The decision came as pressure mounted to cancel the rally in the face of rising hostility, expressed in a torrent of emails and phone calls directed at city officials and businesses, over claims by Bergdahl’s onetime Army comrades that he deliberately abandoned his post in Afghanistan.

Some have asserted that the search for Bergdahl after he went missing under murky circumstances on June 30, 2009, may have cost the lives of up to six fellow soldiers.

Days ago, the central Idaho town near the upscale ski resort of Sun Valley erupted in elation over news that the 28-year-old Army sergeant had been freed in a prisoner exchange with the Taliban.

But the festive mood prevailing on Saturday after Bergdahl’s release was soon tempered by criticism from some former members of his combat unit that he was unfairly being hailed as a hero.

Hailey Police Chief Jeff Gunter said he received a phone call from a fellow police chief in Tennessee asking him, “‘What’s wrong with you people?'” Asked what he meant, Gunter recounted that the caller angrily replied: “‘What the hell’s your problem for supporting this deserter?'”

A rally organizer, Stefanie O’Neill, said as late as Tuesday it would go ahead as planned. But as recriminations grew, O’Neill and her mother, Debbie, a co-organizer, paid a visit to the sergeant’s parents, Bob and Jani Bergdahl, to ask whether they wanted the celebration to proceed.

The city later said the rally, originally planned while Bergdahl was still a captive as a show of solidarity around the anniversary of his disappearance, was canceled.

In honor of this lack of an auspicious occasion, I channeled my inner bard, and wrote the following little ditty, to the tune of “When Johnny Comes Marching Home”.

FBI Searching for American Muslim Army Recruit Planning “Ft. Hood Style Jihad”

Foxnews.com reports, in an exclusive, that

The FBI is searching for a recent Army recruit believed to be planning a “Fort Hood-inspired jihad against U.S. soldiers,” FoxNews.com has learned.

The alert, whose legitimacy was confirmed by military and law enforcement officials, stated that a man identified as Booker had told friends of his “intention to commit jihad.” Booker, who is also known as Muhammad Abdullah Hassan, was recruited by the U.S. Army in Kansas City, Mo., in February 2014 and was scheduled to report for basic training on April 7. But he was discharged last week, apparently after law enforcement authorities learned of his alleged plan.

Both the FBI and the 902d Military Intelligence Group at Fort Leavenworth are involved in the hunt.

The alert, a copy of which was obtained by FoxNews.com, was sent out by the FBI’s Kansas City Division on Friday and distributed through the U.S. Marine Corps. The portion obtained by FoxNews.com did not include Hassan’s photo or age. It was also sent to the Kansas City Police Department, which could indicate authorities believe he may have remained in the area where he was recruited.

The alert is titled, “Planned Fort Hood-inspired Jihad against US Soldiers by Army Recruit” and was issued “to inform and protect officers who may encounter this individual or others exhibiting the same aspirations.” The source of the information contained in the alert was listed as “An FBI agent.”

According to the alert:

“On 20 March 2014, the Kansas City Division FBI became aware of an individual named BOOKER aka Muhammad Abdullah Hassan who had publicly stated his intention to commit jihad, bidding farewell to his friends and making comments indicating his jihad was imminent. BOOKER had been recruited by the US Army in Kansas City, Mo., in February 2014 and was scheduled to report for Basic Training on 7 April 2014. Kansas City Division Agents interviewed BOOKER on 20 March 2014.”

Marine Corps spokesman Capt. Ty Balzer confirmed the alert’s legitimacy, but referred questions to the FBI. A spokeswoman with the Kansas City Division of the FBI — the same division responsible for sending out the alert and who, according to the alert, spoke with Booker on March 20 — said she did “not have any information to provide in regards to your inquiry.”

Law enforcement sources familiar with the alert said it appeared to suggest that there may be others in addition to Booker who also might have expressed similar intentions to commit jihad against U.S. military installations.

A military source said it appeared the bulletin was provided by the FBI, then distributed by the Marine Corps under the normal protocol of sharing any information relating to a potential threat to U.S. military installations or personnel.

A spokesman for the Kansas City recruiting station where Booker enlisted referred FoxNews.com’s questions to 902d Military Intelligence Group, which did not immediately return requests for comment.

So, we are looking at another incident of Muslim Terrorism against our military which Obama and his minions will label “workplace violence”.

I believe that the politically-correct, stupid insensitivity of the Defense Department’s description of the Ft. Hood Massacre can be traced all the way back to President Barack Hussein Obama’s remarks that fateful day, November 5, 2009, in front of a crowd at the Tribal Nations Conference, hosted by the Department of the Interior:

“I planned to make some broader remarks,” he told the crowd. “But as some of you might have heard there has been a tragic shooting at the Fort Hood Army base in Texas.”

The president’s words on the deadly rampage came two minutes after he gave a “shout out” to an audience member and stressed the need to pass health care reform.

“I hear that Dr. Joe Medicine Crow was around, and so I want to give a shout out to that Congressional Medal of Honor winner. It’s good to see you,” he said.

On Friday, Obama opened his remarks at a brief press conference in the White House Rose Garden in which he warned the American public against “jumping to conclusions” over the motives of the shooter.

“This morning I met with FBI Director Mueller and the relevant agencies to discuss their ongoing investigation into what caused one individual to turn his gun on fellow servicemen and women,” he said. “We don’t know all of the answers yet, and I would caution against jumping to conclusions until we have all of the facts.”

The Executive Summary of the Senate Report on the Ft. Hood Shootings  breaks the massacre down for those who are too politically correct to speak the truth and shame the Devil:

Although neither DoD nor the FBI had specific information concerning the time, place, or nature of the attack, they collectively had sufficient information to have detected Hasan’s radicalization to violent Islamist extremism but failed both to understand and to act on it.

Our investigation found specific and systemic failures in the government’s handling of the Hasan case and raises additional concerns about what may be broader systemic issues.

Both the FB I and DoD possessed information indicating Hasan’s radicalization to violent Islamist extremism. And, to the FB I’s credit, it flagged Hasan from among the chaff of 7 intelligence collection for additional scrutiny. However, the FBI and DoD together failed to recognize and to link the information that they possessed about Hasan:

1. Hasan was a military officer who lived under a regimented system with strict officership and security standards, standards which his behavior during his military medical training violated;

2. The government had [REDACTED] communications from Hasan to a suspected terrorist, [REDACTED], who was involved in anti-American activities and the subject of an unrelated FBI terrorism investigation. This individual will be referred to as the “Suspected Terrorist” in this report. Although both the public and the private signs of Hasan’s radicalization to violent Islamist extremism while on active duty were known to government official s, a string of failures prevented these officials from intervening against him prior to the attack.

Evidence of Hasan’s radicalization to violent Islamist extremism was on full display to his superiors and colleagues during his military medical training.

An instructor and a colleague each referred to Hasan as a “ticking time bomb.” Not only was no action taken to discipline or discharge him, but also his Officer Evaluation Reports sanitized his obsession with violent Islamist extremism into praiseworthy research on counterterrorism.

While I realize that this is a potential domestic terrorist incident in the making, the very fact that Nidal Hasan and this home-grown Muslim Barbarian got into our Armed Forces at all, is a direct result of the naivete and attitude of arrogance involved in the Administration’s Smart Power! Foreign Policy dealings with our sworn enemies, the Radical Muslims.

The fact is, Barack Hussein Obama is a pussy-footing dhimmi, who believes in negotiating from a position of weakness and “reaching out”, to the adherents of a political ideology masquerading as a religion, who would sooner behead us “infidels” than allow us to continue breathing.

Additionally, the Obama Administration’s use of our Armed Forces as guinea pigs for social experimentation is potentially endangering the lives of our Brightest and Best.

And, that is unforgivable.
