Yesterday, the oldest broadcasting network in the United States, the National Broadcasting Company (NBC),experienced a day in which their News Division proved that, for them “journalistic Integrity” is indeed an oxymoron.

FoxNews.com reports that

For NBC News, it was another in a series of embarrassments on Thursday as it had to correct a story saying federal investigators had placed a wiretap on the phone lines of President Donald Trump’s attorney Michael Cohen.

As Fox News is reporting, the feds were monitoring only what calls were being made but weren’t listening in — contrary to NBC’s earlier reporting. The Peacock Network’s major turnabout was made more than four hours after the original story moved online Thursday, when it caused immediate chatter in the cable news universe.

NBC had attributed its original story to two anonymous sources with knowledge of the legal proceedings against Cohen. In an editor’s note preceding the rewritten story, NBC explains that three senior U.S. officials disputed the account, saying that the phones were monitored by a pen register, which records the phone numbers on both ends of the conversation, not the substance of the calls themselves.

The erroneous NBC report added to widespread speculation about what exactly the feds were able to seize in their April raid. Cohen’s lawyers and President Trump’s legal team have been battling in court over access to those materials.

Darn those “anonymous sources”.

Why, one might think that NBC made up that cock and bull story to begin with.

But wait…there’s more…

Amid shocking new allegations against Tom Brokaw and Matt Lauer, NBC News Chairman Andy lack is twisting in the wind as media watchdogs await the findings of an internal review to determine who knew about disgraced “Today” host Matt Lauer’s bad behavior and didn’t report it.

The Washington Post on Thursday night reported that the long-simmering investigation is “nearing its conclusion” — something Lack echoed in a memo to staff on Friday. 

“We will have findings and further steps to share with you as soon as next week,” Lack wrote to staffers.

The investigation’s closure comes as the Lauer scandal is just one of many storms over sexual misconduct, secrecy, homophobia and just bad decision-making that are dogging NBC’s storied news division.

There’s the controversy over MSNBC star Joy Reid’s anti-gay slurs; the accusations that NBC legend Tom Brokaw engaged in forceful and unwanted kissing of then-NBC correspondent Linda Vester in the 1990s; and persistent questions over why NBC sat on two major sex harassment stories: the “Access Hollywood” tape of Donald Trump and Ronan Farrow’s blockbuster reporting on alleged Hollywood sex predator Harvey Weinstein. And then there’s the foundering and hugely expensive experiment with former Fox News star Megyn Kelly, who has reportedly been dragging down NBC News’ most important show by far, “Today.”

The fact that NBC had to correct themselves over their own fake news is actually sort of amazing.

After all, since Donald J. Trump first announced his candidacy for the Presidency of the United States of America, they’ve been lying like the Grizzly Bear Throw Rug in Sarah Palin’s Den.

Their desperation to bring down a sitting President has now transcended the bounds of broadcast journalism to the point to where this “news outlet” now resembles a revolutionary faction vying for power in Venezuela.

This desperation has led them to publish unsubstantiated lie after unsubstantiated lie in order to assuage their own still hurt feelings over their failure to aid lousy Democratic Candidate Hillary Clinton in her quest to become the 45th President of the United States of America.

The depth of their grief and the blind rage of their ensuing temper tantrum has, without a doubt, wiped out any vestiges of journalistic integrity that remained after decades of being the Propaganda Arm of the Democratic Party.

The funny thing is, that during all of those decades of Liberal Self-righteousness, NBC and other Liberal Show Biz Organizations were condoning sexual harassment and intolerance in their own corporate confines.

That’s right.

The same bunch of “morally superior” East and West Coast Liberals, who have been insulting and talking down to average Americans, from their positions of notoriety and power, simply because we believe in Traditional American Faith and Values and we would not swallow the Kool-aid they we offering during the 2016 Presidential Campaign and elected Donald J Trump as President, instead of the Queen of Mean, knew all along about the debauchery going on both behind closed doors and out in their open in their places of business.

And now, they are trying to topple a president on the word of a woman who makes her living on her back.

And. the pundits at NBC News and the rest of the Main Stream Media, wonder why President Trump’s Popularity Ratings continue to rise.
