The Illegal Alien Invasion: How Did They Get Here? And, Why Aren’t We Sending Them Back?

illegal immigration AFBranco 71114Over the past few weeks, as the massive Illegal Alien Invasion has continued to overwhelm our nation’s resources on our Southern Border, I have been verbally sparring on internet political websites with Liberals over this situation. Of course, as their fallen messiah has, they are quick to use the term “refugees” in describing this Mexican Munchkin Migration, and loathe to use the term “illegals” to describe these lawbreakers who are entering our Sovereign Nation.

At one point during the discussion, I always bring up the question, “How are they arriving at our border?” I mean these “precious children” can’t be traveling thousands of miles through jungles and deserts, accompanied only by the Scooby Doo Backpack that they’re carrying on their shoulders.

It was reported, as far back as July 23rd, that,

The drug gangs are using scores of illegal underage immigrants as “bait” for overwhelmed Border Patrol agents to capture while nearby they are smuggling marijuana, cocaine, heroin, and methamphetamine across the border, the website said.

A military crackdown on drug traffickers in Mexico launched by President Felipe Calderon has forced the cartels, including Los Zetas, Sinaloa, and Knights of Templar, to move south and recruit gang members in Guatemala, Honduras, and El Salvador, who terrorize residents and create criminal chaos in the three impoverished countries where corruption is rampant.

In 2011, Guatemala’s murder rate was double that of Mexico while Honduras and El Salvador have had the world’s highest and second highest murder rates since the mid-1990s. Thousands of people from these nations decide to take a risk and join the surge of illegals attempting to enter the United States, rather than stay and live in fear and poverty.

The cartels used to work alongside human smugglers, known as coyotes. But in the past decade they have taken over the business, turning it into a sophisticated human-trafficking network while also continuing to smuggle in drugs, with border agents too busy catching crossing cheats to concentrate on nabbing drug mules.

The price of an illegal one-way ticket to the United States costs between $3,000 and $6,000, with hard-up family members in America sometimes transferring payments by wire on a monthly plan.

Migrants from Central America often ride on top of trains and buses from southern Mexico to border towns, an arduous journey where they will also face robbery, rape, and beatings at the hands of vicious drug and human traffickers, according to The Daily Beast.

So, how are they sneaking them through the entire country of Mexico?

The answer is: The Drug Cartels are fulfilling their mission with a little help from “our Latin American Friends”…

Though largely unreported in the U.S. mainstream media, the two nations agreed on July 7, in a presidential-level meeting in Mexico, to make it legal and safe for Central American immigrants, including unaccompanied minors, to cross Mexico’s border with Guatemala and transit Mexico en route to the U.S. border at the Rio Grande.

The agreement apparently does not recognize that the result of such trips – entry into the United States – remains illegal.

But to facilitate the program, the Mexican government announced plans to issue a new “Regional Visitor Card” that will provide documentation for the Central Americans to remain in Mexico as long as it takes to get to the United States.

Under the auspices of a “Southern Border Program,” Mexican President Enrique Peña Nieto and Guatemalan President Otto Pérez, in a meeting in Mexico, agreed to take five concrete steps designed to “protect and safeguard the human rights of migrants who enter and transit Mexico, so as to order international routes of passage [in and through Mexico] to increase and develop the security of the region.”

The five steps in Mexican “Southern Border Program” included the following action steps:

1. Mexico established for the Central American migrants transiting through Mexico a new Mexican-government issued “Regional Visitor Card” that instructs the Mexican National Institute of Migration to recognize the holder as having been granted by the Mexican government the right to a “temporary stay” in Mexico. The purpose of the “Regional Visitor Card” is to grant Central American migrants entering Mexico across the border with Guatemala enough time and legal status to complete their journey to the United States.

2. Mexico plans to open 10 new border crossing checkpoints on the border with Guatemala and two more on the border with Belize to function as “Comprehensive Care Centers for Border Transit,” designed to register the Central American migrants with Mexican immigration authorities and to issue “Regional Cards” as part of a formal government processing allowing migrants from Central America to transit into Mexico on an official basis.

3. Mexico has decided to expand throughout the country the five medical care units originally established in Chiapas to give medical aid and temporary shelter to Central American migrants transiting through Mexico, with special attention given to unaccompanied minors.

4. Mexico has decided to create a new “Office for the Coordination of Comprehensive Social Services for Migrants on the Southern Border” to be attached to the Ministry of the Interior, tasked with coordinating interagency Mexican government efforts to provide humanitarian care and assistance provided by the Mexican government to migrants crossing the border with Guatemala, so as to guarantee respect for the human rights of the migrants.

5. Mexico pledged to continue playing an active role working with international organizations to participate in conferences organized to promote legal immigration, including continued sponsorship of forums including Mexico’s National Conference on Migration.

In the spirit that migration of Central Americans from Guatemala through Mexico will be more secure if it is more formally organized, Nieto announced Mexico’s new “Southern Border Program” was a step in the right direction.

Guatemalan President Otto Pérez noted the border between Guatemala and Mexico “offers an opportunity to show how we can improve the treatment of migrants and the relations between two peoples – Guatemalans and Mexicans – who have traditionally been brothers.”

Nieto also explained that the governments of Mexico and Guatemala have been working in cooperation with authorities in El Salvador and Honduras “to work in the same direction to make Central American migration more organized and safer.”

Nieto further announced that the Mexican Ministry of the Interior, working together with officials from Guatemala, will strengthen law enforcement intelligence gathering regarding Central American migrants to develop a technological platform to share in gathering the real-time biometric information believed essential for a formal registration process to issue the migrants appropriate Mexican government documentation for use in their transit across Mexico.

In other words, “We, don’t want them. You Gringos can have them. Vaya con Dios!”

So, what can be done?

Simple. SECURE THE BORDER NOW!

Perry to Fox’s Sean Hannity: “The single most important thing he could do is to put the National Guard on the border … That would send a powerful message.”

After their meeting Wednesday, Obama said he agreed with Perry on many of the governor’s border concerns. He called the discussion “constructive,” and even Perry said Obama was seemed engaged in the discussion.

Perry, however, later told Hannity that he still was puzzled about Obama’s lack of response to the border crisis, saying he did not know whether the president was “inept” or whether something else is going on with the president’s inaction. He blasted the “failure of this administration to see the border.”

Governor Perry, Obama knows exactly what is happening at the border. In fact, he encouraged it, for his own purposed, as I wrote yesterday.

Former Alaskan Governor Sarah Palin, in her Op Ed, published earlier this week, in which she called for Obama’s Impeachment, nailed it, when she said,

In violation of our Constitution, he regularly ignores court orders, changes laws by executive fiat, and refuses to enforce laws he doesn’t like, including our immigration laws.

When Congress declined to pass amnesty for illegal immigrants’ offspring, he unilaterally enacted his own version of it, which created the current crisis on our border as illegal youth pour into our country to receive what he illegally promised them.

So, what is the solution to this “Humanitarian Issue”, as Obama and all of his hand-wringing hypocritical Liberal sycophants are calling this invasion?

Believe or not, a legendary Democrat Leader had the best solution I have heard so far.

The last bipartisan U.S. Commission on Immigration Reform happened during President ill “Bubba” Clinton’s tenure. Bubba appointed former congresswoman and Democratic icon Barbara Jordan as its chair. Jordan came from humble beginnings to become a lawyer and the first Southern black woman elected to the House of Representatives. A DEMOCRAT, she was a leader in the civil rights movement, a professor of ethics, a recipient of the Presidential Medal of Freedom, and a world-class orator (two of her speeches are considered among the greatest of the 20th century). Her appointment gave the commission instant credibility. According to Jordan, she believed her responsibility as the head of the commission was to restore credibility to the U.S. immigration system. On the issue of illegal immigration, Jordan was very clear and succinct:

Unlawful immigration is unacceptable. Those who should not be here will be required to leave.

Obama on Illegal Alien Invasion: “It’s Congress’ Fault!”

ObamalyingYesterday, the President of the United States of America, Barack Hussein Obama, (mm mmm mmmm) said the following in a news conference concerning the “Humanitarian Situation on Our Southern Border”, which his policies have caused.

(Text courtesy of BostonGlobe.com)

Hello, everybody. I just had a good meeting with Governor Perry, local officials, and faith leaders to talk about the steps that we have taken and that we need to take to address the humanitarian situation on the border. And I want to thank everybody who’s been involved for taking the time to talk to me.

It’s important to recognize two things. First, the surge of unaccompanied children, and adults with children, are arriving at one sector of the border, and that’s the Rio Grande Valley. Second, the issue is not that people are evading our enforcement officials. The issue is that we’re apprehending them in large numbers. And we’re working to make sure that we have sufficient facilities to detain, house, and process them appropriately, while attending to unaccompanied children with the care and compassion that they deserve while they’re in our custody.

While we intend to do the right thing by these children, their parents need to know that this is an incredibly dangerous situation and it is unlikely that their children will be able to stay. And I’ve asked parents across Central America not to put their children in harm’s way in this fashion.

Right now, there are more Border Patrol agents and surveillance resources on the ground than at any time in our history. And we deport almost 400,000 migrants each year. But as soon as it became clear that this year’s migration to the border was different than in past years, I directed FEMA to coordinate our response at the border. Members of my Cabinet and my staff have made multiple trips to facilities there. And we’re also addressing the root of the problem. I sent Vice President Biden and Secretary Kerry and Secretary Johnson to meet with Central American leaders, as well as working with our international partners to go after smugglers who are putting their kids’ lives at risk.

And earlier this week, Mexico announced a series of steps that they’re going to take on their southern border to help stem the tide of these unaccompanied children.

Last week, I sent a letter to Congress asking them to increase penalties on smugglers and to give us flexibility to move migrants through the system faster.

Yesterday, I asked Congress to fund these efforts. About half of the resources would go to border security, enforcement, and expedited removal of people who don’t qualify for a humanitarian claim. About half would go to make sure we’re treating children humanely. We’d also make investments to further tackle the root problems in Central America.

So right now, Congress has the capacity to work with us, work with state officials, local officials, and faith-based groups and non-for-profits who are helping to care for these kids — Congress has the capacity to work with all parties concerned to directly address the situation. They’ve said they want to see a solution. The supplemental offers them the capacity to vote immediately to get it done.

Of course, in the long run, the best way to truly address this problem is for the House of Representatives to pass [Amnesty] legislation fixing our broken immigration system, which, by the way, would include funding for additional thousands of Border Patrol agents — something that everybody down here that I’ve talked to indicates is a priority.

In other words, Scooter is, once again, placing the blame for his policy failure on somebody…anybody else.

And, when he does not get his way, he jumps up and down, yelling at the top of his lungs, then holding his breath until he turns blue, all the while looking around to see if any adults are watching him.

Texas Governor Rick Perry appeared on Sean Hannity’s Fox News Program last night. He and Obama did not quite see things eye-to-eye, no matter what Scooter says.

The Republican governor spoke out after meeting with Obama in Texas Wednesday afternoon. Both sides called the meeting “constructive” and said they agreed philosophically. However, Perry said he is concerned that Obama did not indicate he will take the immediate action he requested: to use his power as commander-in-chief to send the National Guard to secure the border.

“You know, I was like, Mr. President, you can deal with this. You can unilaterally direct the Department of Defense to put those troops on the border…” he said, later adding, “The president needs to understand that the single most important thing that he can do is put the National Guard on the border to coordinate with local law enforcement, with state law enforcement, with the border patrol…”

Obama said Wednesday that he is open to the National Guard suggestion, but that he believed it would only be a temporary fix.

Perry also criticized the fact that Obama is not visiting the border on his trip to Texas so he can witness the crisis first-hand. Obama said in a press conference Wednesday that doing so would be engaging in political “theater” and not productive.

“I said Mr. President, I really want you to come and see this,” Perry said. “I said this is important for you to absorb as a father, but more importantly as the president of the United States to see the humanitarian crisis.”

Perry said Obama’s refusal to do so is no different than the criticism President George W. Bush received when he chose to fly over New Orleans after Hurricane Katrina instead of visiting the city on the ground. He said Obama sending Homeland Security Secretary Jeh Johnson is not enough.

“I’m pretty sure that if George Bush had said ‘well I sent my FEMA director multiple times’ he still would have been criticized greatly,” Perry said. “Because you need to go. That’s what governors do, that’s what presidents do. When there are natural disasters, when there are crises like these, a president needs to be there to show the American people number one that he understands.”

In the press conference, Obama called on Congress to approve the more than $3 billion in emergency funds he requested to help with the crisis, but Perry claimed less than $100 million of those funds would be going toward border security.

“It’s the same president that said Al-Qaeda’s on the run and I don’t know whether he’s inept, or there’s something else going on, as I’ve said before,” he said. “But the fact is, the border is not secure.”

Perry said that if the National Guard was made available to help secure the border, it would send a powerful message to Central America.

“That’s the most humane thing we can do,” he said.

I swear, ya’ll. In all of my 55 years on God’s green Earth, I have never seen a more arrogant PO…err…jackwagon, representing our country as its president, than Barack Hussein Obama.

During Scooter’s moment of denial and self-adulation last night, I almost threw my Samsung Cell Phone at my Samsung Television.

I used to have difficulty listening to Bubba Clinton, also. However, the Former Philanderer-in-Chief pales in comparison to the present Prevaricator-in-Chief, in terms of being positively un-listenable.

First off, Obama is always 30-45 minutes late to his own press conferences, a habit born out of a sense of self-importance. In fact, Obama’s huge ego arrives in the room before he does.

Obama’s sense of self-importance is exceeded only by his over-estimation of his own intelligence. The former University of Chicago “Guest Lecturer” still believes that, whatever audience he is addressing, including the American people, all are less intelligence and less educated than he is.

This arrogance gives every speech he makes, a stilted, didactic tone. Obama does not talk TO the American People, as President Reagan did…HE TALKS DOWN TO US.

And, as if Obama’s overbearing arrogance was not bad enough, he doubles-down on the un-listenability factor by lying like a Persian Rug.

Obama reminds me of the children in the old cartoon strip, “The Family Circus”. Every time the children would break something, or do something that they were told not to, they would answer their parents, when asked what happened, “Ida know” and “Not me”, as smiling specters with those words printed on their chests appeared on the strip.

I thought I saw those ghosts floating across the screen as Obama spoke last night. Although, on second thought, if might have been dimwitted ol’ Joe Biden, grinning like a mule eating yellow jackets, as usual.

Growing up, I and members of my generation, were always taught that accepting blame and responsibility for your failures, was a sign of maturity.

That being the case, last night, the President of the United States sounded like he was around 8 years old.

Until He Comes,

KJ

The Illegal Alien Invasion: “…That I Will Support and Defend the Constitution of the United States of America…”

illegal immigration 3As our country was celebrating our independence from a tyrannical oppressor yesterday, our sovereignty was still being threatened by an invasion of unaccompanied minors, illegal aliens who have been streaming across our Southern Border, from Mexico, Central America, and South America, bringing with them disease, gang members, and possible enemies of our country, traveling in disguise.

Unfortunately, it appears that the enemies of our sovereign nation, are already here.

Breitbart News reported yesterday that

Opponents of illegal immigration had gathered in Murrieta to stop Friday’s planned transfer of Central American illegal aliens, as they did earlier this week. A pro-amnesty counter-demonstration was organized in response.

The illegal aliens, many of them unaccompanied children, are being brought from overcrowded Texas detention facilities for processing in California.

In addition, Breitbart News obtained photographs of torn-up flags that pro-amnesty demonstrators had impaled on a fence.

Bonnie Lewis, an anti-immigration activist, told Breitbart News that she saw one of the pro-amnesty activists dragging an American flag on the ground.

“I said: ‘Hey, don’t do that.’ He said: ‘That’s where it belongs,'” she said.

Another anti-illegal immigration activist said that pro-amnesty demonstrators called her a “f***ing whore” i Spanish, and shouted, “F*** America!”

Yesterday, President Barack Hussein Obama continued to push amnesty for illegal aliens at a naturalization ceremony for immigrants who wish to earn their US Citizenship by serving in our military, the desire of just 8 % of the illegal alien population who have “broken in” to to our Sovereign Nation. During the ceremony, Obama said,

Together, all of you remind us that America is and always has been a nation of immigrants. Throughout our history, immigrants have come to our shores in wave after wave, from every corner of the globe. Every one of us –- unless we’re Native American –- has an ancestor who was born somewhere else.

And even though we haven’t always looked the same or spoken the same language, as Americans, we’ve done big things together. We’ve won this country’s freedom together. We’ve built our greatest cities together. We’ve defended our way of life together. We’ve continued to perfect our union together.

And that’s what makes America special. That’s what makes us strong. The basic idea of welcoming immigrants to our shores is central to our way of life, it is in our DNA. We believe our diversity, our differences, when joined together by a common set of ideals, makes us stronger, makes us more creative, makes us different. From all these different strands, we make something new here in America. And that’s why, if we want to keep attracting the best and brightest from beyond our borders, we’re going to have to fix our immigration system, which is broken, and pass commonsense immigration reform.

We shouldn’t be making it harder for the best and the brightest to come here, and create jobs here, and grow our economy here. We should be making it easier. And that’s why I’m going to keep doing —

…So I’m going to keep doing everything I can do to keep making our immigration system smarter and more efficient so hardworking men and women like all of you have the opportunity to join the American family and to serve our great nation. So we can be stronger and more prosperous and more whole –- together.

Today, on this Fourth of July, all across the country –- from Thomas Jefferson’s Monticello to the Alamodome in Texas — immigrants from around the world are taking the oath of citizenship. And many of them have worked and sacrificed for years to get to this moment. All of them have done it for something none of us should ever take for granted: the right to be called an American, from this moment, and forever after.

And that fact should give us hope and should make us confident about the future of our country. Because as long as there are men and women like all of you who are willing to give so much for the right to call yourselves Americans, and as long as we do our part to keep the door open to those who are willing to earn their citizenship, then we’re going to keep on growing our economy, we’ll continue to journey forward, and we’ll remind the world of why the United States of America is and always will be the greatest nation on Earth. We’re very proud of you. Congratulations.

For once in his radical life, Obama got something right. American Citizenship is not something to be taken lightly. It is something that must be earned…legally.

I know that you have heard America referred to as a Melting Pot.

That phrase was actually made popular in the 1908 play, “The Melting Pot,” a stage play by Israel Zangwill that encouraged assimilation into our nation’s culture by the immigrants of the time.

Zangwill was the London-born son of Russian Jewish immigrants. His play made its debut in Washington in 1908 and played in New York for four months the next year. The main character is David Quixano, a Jewish immigrant, orphaned by a pogram, which is a massacre of Jews. Quizano lives with his uncle on Staten Island and becomes smitten with the daughter of a Russian nobleman.

In the end, the good guy(David) gets the girl, which inspires him to shout from the rooftop of a Lower East Side settlement house that “America is God’s crucible” and to proclaim: “What is the glory of Rome and Jerusalem where all nations and races come to worship and look back, compared with the glory of America, where all races and nations come to labor and look forward!”

What Obama and the Pro-Amnesty Supporters in Washington, the Main Stream Media, and throughout the country  fail to realize, is that you can’t buy loyalty to a nation.

The British found that out with their hired German Mercenaries, the Hessians, during the Revolutionary War.

In their self-absorbed Political Greed, America’s professional politicians are setting the stage for the possible fall of our nation.

Legal Immigrants earned their citizenship. They showed that they were willing to become a part of the Great American Melting Pot (from the Schoolhouse Rock video of the same name).

They demonstrated that, as the US Citizen and Immigration services states, that they were willing to

Support the Constitution;
Renounce and abjure absolutely and entirely all allegiance and fidelity to any foreign prince, potentate, state, or sovereignty of whom or which the applicant was before a subject or citizen;
Support and defend the Constitution and laws of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic;
Bear true faith and allegiance to the same; and
A. Bear arms on behalf of the United States when required by the law; or
B. Perform noncombatant service in the Armed Forces of the United States when required by the law; or
C. Perform work of national importance under civilian direction when required by the law.

Additionally, these legal immigrants also took the following oath:

I hereby declare, on oath, that I absolutely and entirely renounce and abjure all allegiance and fidelity to any foreign prince, potentate, state, or sovereignty, of whom or which I have heretofore been a subject or citizen; that I will support and defend the Constitution and laws of the United States of America against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; that I will bear arms on behalf of the United States when required by the law; that I will perform noncombatant service in the Armed Forces of the United States when required by the law; that I will perform work of national importance under civilian direction when required by the law; and that I take this obligation freely, without any mental reservation or purpose of evasion; so help me God.

Illegal Immigrants do not respect the laws of our land, to begin with. Why would that change, if they were given the rights of citizenship?

Obama is right. Being an American is not a matter of birthplace. And, he ought to know. (I kid. I kid.)

It’s a matter of loyalty.

Until He Comes,

KJ

Down Goes Cantor! Hey, Vichy Republicans…Can You Hear Us Now?

conservative1Last night, a history-making event happened in the Commonwealth of Virginia: a sitting House Majority Leader failed to win their State Primary Election.

Establishment “Moderate” Republican, Eric Cantor, got fired by his Bosses…the Republican Conservative Base.

Foxnews.com reports that…

In a stunning upset, House Majority Leader Eric Cantor lost the GOP Virginia primary Tuesday night to Dave Brat, an economics professor and political novice.

The Associated Press called the race for Cantor about an hour after polls closed at 7 p.m. ET.

Cantor is the second-most powerful member of the U.S. House and was widely seen as the next in line to succeed House Speaker John Boehner.

Cantor’s loss to a political novice with little money marks a huge victory for the Tea Party movement, which supported Cantor just a few years ago.

Brat had been a thorn in Cantor’s side on the campaign, casting the congressman as a Washington insider who isn’t conservative enough. His message apparently scored well with voters in the 7th District.

“There needs to be a change,” said Joe Mullins, who voted in Chesterfield County Tuesday. The engineering company employee said he has friends who tried to arrange town hall meetings with Cantor, who declined their invitations.

Tiffs between the GOP’s establishment and Tea Party factions have flared in Virginia since Tea Party favorite Ken Cuccinelli lost last year’s gubernatorial race. Cantor supporters have met with stiff resistance in trying to wrest control of the state party away from Tea party enthusiasts, including in the Cantor’s home district.

Brat teaches at Randolph-Macon College, a small liberal arts school north of Richmond. He raised just more than $200,000 for his campaign, according to the most recent campaign finance reports.

Beltway-based groups also spent heavily in the race. The American Chemistry Council, whose members include many blue chip companies, spent more than $300,000 on TV ads promoting Cantor. It’s the group’s only independent expenditure so far this election year. Political arms of the American College of Radiology, the National Rifle Association and the National Association of Realtors had five-figure independent spending to promote Cantor.

Brat offset the cash disadvantage with endorsements from conservative activists like radio host Laura Ingraham, and with help from local Tea Party activists angry at Cantor.

Much of the campaign centered on immigration, where critics on both sides have recently taken aim at Cantor.

Brat has accused the House majority leader of being a top cheerleader for “amnesty” for immigrants in the U.S. illegally. Cantor has responded forcefully by boasting in mailers of blocking Senate plans “to give illegal aliens amnesty.”

It was a change in tone for Cantor, who has repeatedly voiced support for giving citizenship to certain immigrants brought illegally to the country as children. Cantor and House GOP leaders have advocated a step-by-step approach rather than the comprehensive bill backed by the Senate. They’ve made no move to bring legislation to a vote and appear increasingly unlikely to act this year.

Cantor, a former state legislator, was elected to Congress in 2000. He became majority leader in 2011.

So, now, for the next several days, there will be wailing, crying and the gnashing of teeth in the Hallways of Power, up in DC, among the GOP Elite and the Democrats alike.

You see boys and girls, last night was the new “Shot heard Around the World”

In a blog I wrote titled ” The Failed GOP Strategy of Passive Resistance”, posted on 1/29/2013, I warned the GOP Establishment that

If these Vichy Republicans do not “man up” soon and start “‘resisting” the plans of Obama and his minions to turn the “Shining City on the Hill” into a Third World Barrio, they are going to find themselves out of a job after a Mid-Term Election in 2014,  that will make the political bloodbath of 2012 seem like a squirt gun fight.

Do not forget, GOP: You serve at OUR pleasure. Not yours.

However, they did not listen to little ol’ me.

So, Eric Cantor chose, like the rest of the so-called “GOP Moderates”, to push for Amnesty for all of those who have entered and are entering our Sovereign Nation’s Southern Borders illegally, including those involved in the current Mexican Munchkin Migration.

Who will be the next member of the GOP Establishment to lose their cushy job?

I would say that it will probably be Senator Thad Cochran, down here in Mississippi, who has been forced into a run-off with TEA Party Firebrand Chris McDaniels, who finished in a statistical tie, with the 40-year incumbent.

Just as was the case with the Virginia Primary, the GOP Establishment has opened their purses to bankroll Cochran’s re-election effort, issuing attack ads and fluff pieces, attempting to convince voters of Cochran’s “Conservative Bona Fides.”

Unfortunately for them, their efforts have not worked.

This new “Shot Heard Around the World” last night signaled a great awakening. America’s Political Pendulum is, once again, swinging to the Right.

Americans are watching in disgust as a United States President is intentionally harming our country, while he and his fellow travelers, Professional Progressive Politicians on both sides of the aisle, thumb their noses at the wishes of the overwhelming majority of American Citizens…the people who elected them to their cushy jobs in the first place: THEIR BOSSES.

Average Americans want common sense Conservative American Leadership.

LEADERS WHO WILL REPRESENT THEM…not themselves.

Leaders who will stand up to our Petulant Prevaricating President.

Americans want someone who can speak like this:

I don’t believe the people I’ve met in almost every State of this Union are ready to consign this, the last island of freedom, to the dust bin of history, along with the bones of dead civilizations of the past. Call it mysticism, if you will, but I believe God had a divine purpose in placing this land between the two great oceans to be found by those who had a special love of freedom and the courage to leave the countries of their birth. From our forefathers to our modern-day immigrants, we’ve come from every corner of the earth, from every race and every ethnic background, and we’ve become a new breed in the world. We’re Americans and we have a rendezvous with destiny. We spread across this land, building farms and towns and cities, and we did it without any federal land planning program or urban renewal.

Indeed, we gave birth to an entirely new concept in man’s relation to man. We created government as our servant, beholden to us and possessing no powers except those voluntarily granted to it by us. Now a self-anointed elite in our nation’s capital would have us believe we are incapable of guiding our own destiny. They practice government by mystery, telling us it’s too complex for our understanding. Believing this, they assume we might panic if we were to be told the truth about our problems.

Why should we become frightened? No people who have ever lived on this earth have fought harder, paid a higher price for freedom, or done more to advance the dignity of man than the living Americans the Americans living in this land today. There isn’t any problem we can’t solve if government will give us the facts. Tell us what needs to be done. Then, get out of the way and let us have at it.

That was Ronald Wilson Reagan, the greatest American President in my lifetime, a man who brought us together, instead of pitting us against each other….a man who stood up to tyranny, instead of embracing it…a man who fought for the rights of the unborn…instead of declaring them “a punishment”…A LEADER…NOT A FOLLOWER

Until the good ol’ boys in the Northeast Republicans’ Club, or Vichy Republicans, as I like to call them, realize that the majority of Americans out here in the Heartland are still Conservative “bitter clingers” who love God and country, they will be victims of their own hubris, and continue to lose elections.

And, it will be nobody’s fault but their own.

Until He Comes,

Vichy Republicans Expand Obamacare. Time to “Let Them Go Their Way”

boehnercryingI’m confused.

If my wife was looking over my shoulder as I am writing this, she would say,

What else is new?

I realize that the old saying is there’s nothing new under the sun, However, by now you would think that politicians would somehow think up new tricks to pull on their  constituency.

You have no doubt heard that the Republican Party, in a vote which would be called covert only in polite circles, have passed their own additions to the unwanted law known as Obamacare.

According to the Speaker of the House, Republican “Cryin'” John Boehner, the legislation weakens  Obamacare. According to the Democrats, what the Republican Establishment added to Obamacare strengthens the law.

Correct me if I’m wrong but aren’t the Republicans supposed to be the opposition party?

And isn’t the purpose of an opposition party to provide solutions to horrible laws passed by their opponents?

Just like this slavish mainstream media believe that President Barack Hussein Obama walks upon the water, House Speaker John Boehner and the rest of the Vichy Republicans, must idolize or at least respect the Democratic Party because they seem Hell-bent on copying them in their actions, words, and deeds.

Just look at their proclamations lately. They have embraced amnesty, they are in the process of embracing gay marriage, and now, these idiots have actually strengthened  Obamacare.

It seems to me that I remember John Boehner and the rest of them promising at election time to get rid of Obamacare or at least the parts of it that they didn’t like.

And then, they pull this mess, like a bunch of Democrats, and expect us to remember them in  November during the Midterm Elections?

Oh, we will remember them all right. But not in the way they want us to. We will not remember them as leaders. Oh, no. Rather, Americans conservatives will remember them with all of the fondness that the French Resistance remembered the Nazi collaborators, or Vichy French, after World War II.

What slays me is the fact that the Establishment Republicans seem to be quite content, in their moderately left-leaning stupor, to be totally oblivious and tone deaf of their Conservative Base, average hard working middle-class Americans like you and me.

You know, the people who actually put them into office.

They keep on making bad choices.

They have pushed and misty because they erroneously believe that these new citizens will vote for them instead of the Democratic Party, who are ready to be their own personal Santa Claus and by their votes with free admission to the welfare state.

Moderate Republicans have been a barrier to Republican victory for as long as I can remember. Like Quakers, Establishment Republicans seem to believe that passive resistance and reaching out to their sworn enemies friends, is the way to defeat those who oppose you.

It has been especially bad in this election cycle, as the House and Senate Republican Leadership apparently cherish their friendship with the Democrats more than they do the wishes of the folks back home. Yes, they talk a good game, but so did Jon Lovitz in those “Liar Sketches” during the old days of Saturday Night Live, back when they were actually funny.

Yeah,  my wife Morgan Fairchild. Yeah, that’s it. That’s the ticket!

In 1975, Ronald Wilson Reagan gave a speech which sums up our present situation and how we need to handle the Republican Party leadership, quite well.

Americans are hungry to feel once again a sense of mission and greatness.

I don ‘t know about you, but I am impatient with those Republicans who after the last election rushed into print saying, “We must broaden the base of our party” — when what they meant was to fuzz up and blur even more the differences between ourselves and our opponents.

It was a feeling that there was not a sufficient difference now between the parties that kept a majority of the voters away from the polls. When have we ever advocated a closed-door policy? Who has ever been barred from participating?

Our people look for a cause to believe in. Is it a third party we need, or is it a new and revitalized second party, raising a banner of no pale pastels, but bold colors which make it unmistakably clear where we stand on all of the issues troubling the people?

Let us show that we stand for fiscal integrity and sound money and above all for an end to deficit spending, with ultimate retirement of the national debt.

Let us also include a permanent limit on the percentage of the people’s earnings government can take without their consent.

Let our banner proclaim a genuine tax reform that will begin by simplifying the income tax so that workers can compute their obligation without having to employ legal help.

And let it provide indexing — adjusting the brackets to the cost of living — so that an increase in salary merely to keep pace with inflation does not move the taxpayer into a surtax bracket. Failure to provide this means an increase in government’s share and would make the worker worse off than he was before he got the raise.

Let our banner proclaim our belief in a free market as the greatest provider for the people. Let us also call for an end to the nit-picking, the harassment and over-regulation of business and industry which restricts expansion and our ability to compete in world markets.

Let us explore ways to ward off socialism, not by increasing government’s coercive power, but by increasing participation by the people in the ownership of our industrial machine.

Our banner must recognize the responsibility of government to protect the law-abiding, holding those who commit misdeeds personally accountable.

And we must make it plain to international adventurers that our love of peace stops short of “peace at any price.”

We will maintain whatever level of strength is necessary to preserve our free way of life.

A political party cannot be all things to all people. It must represent certain fundamental beliefs which must not be compromised to political expediency, or simply to swell its numbers.

I do not believe I have proposed anything that is contrary to what has been considered Republican principle. It is at the same time the very basis of conservatism. It is time to reassert that principle and raise it to full view. And if there are those who cannot subscribe to these principles, then let them go their way.

I believe that the Republican Party is stuck in a cycle in which their desire to protect their own hindquarters and cushy “jobs” have lead to a self-imposed isolation from the very American Citizens who were responsible for their having those cushy “jobs” in the first place.

I believe that average Americans, like you and me, have the power to relieve them of the burden of such a stressful job, and send others to Washington, who will listen to their “bosses”.

Just as Ronaldus Magnus said those 39 years ago, it is time to “let them go their way”.

From Reagan to Rubio: The Wussification of the Republican Party

Cartoon-Cruz-Vs-Establishment-600I started this Blog back in April of 2010 as a way of venting my frustration with what I saw happening in the greatest country on God’s Green Earth.

I could not believe what was going on around me. The American People had elected an incompetent, pompous, didactic, divisive, self-involved, Marxist idiot to the most important position in the world: the Presidency of the United States.

The Federal Government, under the leadership of Barack Hussein Obama, and his partners in crime, Speaker of the House, Nancy Pelosi and Senate Majority Leader, Harry Reid, was headed down the road to full-blown socialism, faster than Rosie O’Donnell heading to Golden Corral.

Gradually, from seemingly out of nowhere, a movement began. It wasn’t a Liberal “Astroturf” movement…it was a groundswell, started by average Americans, who were fed up with being over-taxed and under-represented by the people whom they had elected and sent to Washington to SERVE THEM.

As the movement began to take place, it was clear that this was a CONSERVATIVE movement…and a PATRIOTIC one…as they took the name “TEA Party” which stood for “Taxed Enough Already”. Just as the Colonials, who revolted against the King of England, these Americans were, and still are, fighting against “TAXATION WITHOUT REPRESENTATION”.

I remain proud of these Americans. As a fellow Conservative and TEA Party Supporter, they remind me of the Republican Party of my young adulthood, when, in November of 1980, at the age of 21 and 11 months, I cast my very first vote for the greatest President of my generation, Ronald Wilson Reagan. The TEA Party reminds me of the way Republicans, led by Ronaldus Magnus, were back then: plain-spoken, good-humored, honest-to-a-fault, servants of the people, whom you were just as likely to find at St. Peter’s Orphanage’s Annual Picnic in Memphis, TN, as you were at the New York Metropolitan Opera.

In fact, I and my fiancee sent a wedding invitation to President and Mrs. Reagan, and got back and official congratulations card, signed by them, from the Office of Protocol.

The Obamas think “class” is something they skipped to go “choom”.

But, I digress…

The blemish on Reagan’s record that Liberals from both sides of the aisle, are bring up right now, is his passage of a law granting Amnesty to illegal aliens.

Reagan signed the Immigration Reform and Control Act in 1986 because he strongly believed that it was time to gain control of U.S. borders and to enforce legal hiring at workplaces.

The amnesty of 3 million illegal immigrants that came with it was relatively small, and never would have resulted in 11 million new immigrants in the decades that followed had the rest of the law’s requirements been fulfilled by Congress.

Of course, they weren’t.

According to Reagan Attorney General Ed Meese, amnesty was in fact Reagan’s biggest regret, per a story in the Heritage Times, because he, like the people who supported him, believed in the rule of law.

As the halcyon days of the Reagan Administration passed by, and time moved on, the Republican Party slowly, but surely, began to distance themselves from us rubes living out here in America’s Heartland, otherwise known as “Flyover Country”.

And, as they became more isolated from the people they were supposed to be serving, they started losing elections. Sure, Dubya was elected for two terms (Thank God.), but, can you imagine either Al Gore or John Kerry as President? Without throwing up, that is?

With the election of Barack Hussein Obama (mm mmm mmmm), and with the Democrats controlling both the House and Senate, this nation was taken on a madcap plunge toward socialism faster than Elvis going down the last hill on the Zippin Pippin at the old Mid-South Fairgrounds.

And then, Americans stood up on their hind legs and started the TEA Party Movement.

Obama and the Democrats, and the Status Quo-loving Establishment Republicans, could not believe their eyes. “What was this mess? How dare these sheep break away from the flock!”

While Obama and the Democrats attacked us every which-way they could think us, accusing us of RAAACIIISM, carrying guns to rallies, etc., the “Moderate” Republicans, played it very cagey. They used the TEA Party during the months leading up to the 2010 Mid-terms, to get themselves elected, and win back the House of Representatives, on the promise that they would govern “Conservatively”.

Allow me to pause for a moment and say this: I am not speaking about actual Reagan Conservatives and TEA Party Members like Sarah Palin, Ted Cruz, Mike Lee, and sometimes, Rand Paul. I am speaking of those Vichy Republicans, like John Boehner, Mitch McConnell, John McCain, Mitt Romney, Paul Ryan, Eric Cantor, and Marco Rubio, who should just switch parties, and get it over with.

In the two years since the TEA Party propelled them to victory in the Mid-terms, the Establishment Republicans, who rode our coat tails back to the Halls of Power, have increasingly treated us badly, at first, shunning Conservatives like we were red-headed step-children, and now, insulting and degrading us like we are lepers…or their enemy.

And now, with Obama failing miserably, tanking in every single Popularity Poll, making about as much sense as a punch-drunk boxer, the Republicans appear ready to commit mass seppuku (hari kari), as I wrote yesterday, “snatching defeat out of the jaws of victory”  by pushing for Amnesty for illegal aliens, in order to supply their Big Money Donors, in the US Chamber of Commerce, with cheap labor.

In fact, that’s not the only issue that the Vichy Republicans are wussing out on…and it has Senator Ted Cruz worried, as he told Breitbart.com:

Cruz questioned how establishment Republicans unilaterally caving to Democrats on everything from the farm bill to the budget to the debt ceiling and more could think amnesty is a good idea at this time.

“Right now, Republican leadership in both chambers is aggressively urging members to stand down on virtually every front: on the continuing resolution, on the budget, on the farm bill, on the debt ceiling,” Cruz said in a statement provided exclusively to Breitbart News on Thursday.

He continued:

They may or may not be right, but their argument is that we should focus exclusively on Obamacare and on jobs. In that context, why on earth would the House dive into immigration right now? It makes no sense, unless you’re Harry Reid. Republicans are poised for an historic election this fall–a conservative tidal wave much like 2010. The biggest thing we could do to mess that up would be if the House passed an amnesty bill–or any bill perceived as an amnesty bill–that demoralized voters going into November. Rather than responding to the big-money lobbying on K Street, we need to make sure working-class Americans show up by the millions to reject Obamacare and vote out the Democrats. Amnesty will ensure they stay home.

Cruz added that granting amnesty now–while wrong in his opinion at any time–would ensure Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid remains in his position in after the 2014 elections.

“Amnesty is wrong in any circumstance, and if we are going to fix our broken immigration system–and we should–it makes much more sense to do so next year, so that we are negotiating a responsible solution with a Republican Senate majority rather than with Chuck Schumer,” Cruz said. “Anyone pushing an amnesty bill right now should go ahead and put a ‘Harry Reid for Majority Leader’ bumper sticker on their car, because that will be the likely effect if Republicans refuse to listen to the American people and foolishly change the subject from Obamacare to amnesty.”

I wish we had a Senate full of Ted Cruzs and Mike Lees.

Ronald Reagan once quipped,

The trouble with our Liberal friends is not that they’re ignorant; it’s just that they know so much that isn’t so.

Evidently, that applies to Vichy Republicans, as well.

Amnesty and the 2014 Mid-terms: Republicans Ready to Snatch Defeat From the Jaws of Victory

Republican AmnestyYesterday morning, after witnessing, along with the rest of the nation, the worst and least-watched State of the Union Address in Presidential History, I had a smile on my face, believing that the Republicans were going to win back the Senate in a Political Tsunami of a Mid-term Election later this year.

And then, Former Republican Vice-Presidential Candidate Paul Ryan had to open his big, naive, Crony Capitalist mouth, and remind me why I came up with the term “Vichy Republicans”.

He told Chuck Todd on MSNBC that the outline would include border security, work authorization, and legal status by way of a “probationary status,” but that it would not have a “special pathway” to citizenship, as in the Senate immigration bill. In 2013, Ryan was a supporter of a bill that includes strong border security and citizenship provisions. But as House Republicans prepare to release a new, narrower proposal that they hope has a better chance of passage, Ryan seemed to step back from his previous support for reform, suggesting that something like the Senate bill would be “amnesty.”

During his interview, Ryan said that undocumented immigrants would be given a “probationary” status that would allow them to work at the same time that the border is being secured. After they satisfy rigorous pre-conditions of a probationary period including paying fines and learning English, they can then apply for “regular work permits.” Eventually some immigrants can apply for lawful permanent residence after getting into the back of the line behind legal immigrants “who did things right in the first place.”

The Vichy Republicans are not pushing Amnesty to gain new voters (As we say in Dixie, “They’re stupid, but they ain’t ig’nant”.); they’re pushing Amnesty to make their Big Money Donors in the US Chamber of Commerce happy, by supplying them with cheap labor.

Yes, boys and girls, both the Republicans and the US Chamber of Commerce have sold us hard-working Americans out…to make an extra buck or two.

And now, the Chamber wants to try to convince Evangelicals that rewarding those who have broken our laws is the “Christian thing to do.”

Last Friday, Bloomberg.com reported that

The U.S. Chamber of Commerce is wooing religious groups to overcome opposition of conservative lawmakers to immigration-law revisions as Congress is poised to consider the issue.

“The left has never been the problem on this,” Randel Johnson, the chamber’s senior vice president for labor and immigration issues, said today at an event in Washington. “The right is the problem.”

The chamber, the largest U.S. business-lobbying group, and President Barack Obama’s administration are seeking to rewrite immigration laws, which they say limits access to workers. House Republicans say they will take up the issue this year after declining to consider a Senate-passed bill last year.

Johnson said Tea Party-backed candidates and Republicans aren’t the chief obstacles to change.

“This issue doesn’t divide by the so-called Tea Party or non-Tea Party members,” he said, adding that the chamber has had more than 150 meetings with lawmakers and their staffs on Capitol Hill to discuss the issue.

Evangelical groups’ support can help win over conservatives, Johnson said. In November, the Southern Baptist Convention and the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops joined the chamber in urging Congress to act on the issue.

The event co-sponsored by the chamber featured former Commerce Secretary Carlos Gutierrez and Michigan Governor Rick Snyder — both Republicans — and former New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg, founder and majority owner of Bloomberg News parent Bloomberg LP.

“The reality is without immigration our workforce down the road doesn’t grow,” Gutierrez said. “And if our workforce doesn’t grow, our economy doesn’t grow.”

Here’s an idea, Former Secretary Guiterrez: How about employing those Americans who do not have a job, including our Veterans?

The great Michelle Malkin once wrote about the days of the Great Melting Pot, where hard-working people from other countries, came to our shores seeking a better life. However, they decided to enter through Ellis Island and other checkpoints…legally. Once they gained their citizenship, they assimilated in American Culture, becoming loyal American Citizens.

Those principles have been abandoned, scorned, and sabotaged. You have not heard an iota about them from Washington. It is the erosion of Americanization and the ascendancy of the collectivists that helped create the conditions for Election Day.

Amnesty instead of assimilation is a recipe for even greater GOP losses at at the ballot box.

Amnesty instead of assimilation is a recipe for the furtherance of American decline.

I’m all for assisting anyone in becoming a legal citizen of the United States, if that is their wish.  But, it must be done the right way, and they must accept responsibility for their illegal entry, show a willingness to learn our language, and embrace our American way of life, including respecting the American Flag.

A wide-open Southern Border is as big a threat to the sovereignty of the United States as anything that our enemies can throw at us right now.  Republicans in the House and Senate, and in the Halls of Power in Washington, need to quit playing political games.  The safety of America is at stake .

The Democrats promised that the border would be secured, if Reagan signed off on Amnesty in 1986, and did not keep their end of the bargain.  GOP, what makes you believe that you can trust them in 2012?

And, US Chamber of Commerce Leadership…you should be ashamed of yourselves.  Capitalism is one thing. Putting our nation at risk for the promise of cheap labor is another.

SECURE THE BORDER NOW.

P.S. I’m will not “evolve” on this subject. While I am striving to be a better Christian man every day, God loves me just the way I am.

Misplaced Priorities: America’s Jobless and the Push for Amnesty

UnemploymentAs the attention of Americans remains focused on the disaster known as Obamacare, another disaster has slipped by the public’s watchful eye.

CNSNews.com reports that

The number of Americans who are 16 years or older and who have decided not to participate in the nation’s labor force has climbed to a record 90,609,000 in September, according to data released today by the Bureau of Labor Statistics.

The BLS counts a person as participating in the labor force if they are 16 years or older and either have a job or have actively sought a job in the last four weeks. A person is not participating in the labor force if they are 16 or older and have not sought a job in the last four weeks.

In from July to August, according to BLS, Americans not participating in the labor force climbed from 89,957,000 to 90,473,000, pushing past 90,000,000 for the first time, with a one month increase of 516,000.

In September, it climbed again to 90,609,000, an increase of 136,000 during the month.

In January 2009, when President Barack Obama took office, there were 80,507,000 Americans not in the labor force. Thus, the number of Americans not in the labor force has increased by 10,102,000 during Obama’s presidency.

The labor force participation rate, which is the percentage of the non-institutionalized population 16 years or older who either have a job or actively sought one in the last four weeks, was 63.2 percent in September. That was unchanged from August.

When President Obama took office in January 2009, the labor force participation rate was 65.7 percent.

In other words, ladies and gentlemen, Americans have given up looking for jobs. And, this is a subject I know a little something about.

I used to work the Front Desk at a State-run Employment office.

While there, I was able to observe folks down on their luck, struggling to find work and survive in this economy.

I also saw American families, whose existence living on the Government Dole, had become generational.

It is these people whom Obama and the Democrats have hypnotized into believing that Uncle Sugar loves them, and is their only solution to surviving a stifling existence.

They are so, so wrong.

The strength and vitality of America does not come from the benevolence of a Nanny-state Federal Government.

As the greatest American President of our lifetime, Ronald Reagan said:

The nine words you never want to hear are:  I’m from the Government and I’m here to help.

Being enslaved to the Government Dole steals one’s ambition.  It takes away any impetus or desire to create a better life for yourself and your family, to challenge yourself to pick yourself up by your bootstraps and pursue the American Dream.  It makes you reliant on a politically motivated spider’s web full of government bureaucrats who view you and your family as job security.

I watched American citizens trapped in this web of government bureaucracy,  so numbed of any initiative that they once had, that they seemed offended that they actually had to prove that they inquired about three jobs that week in order to keep their “benefits”.  Others seemed puzzled that they had to search through the state data base and pick out a job that they wanted to talk to an interviewer about receiving a referral to, and weren’t just simply handed a job when they walked through the door.

So, yesterday’s news was not a huge surprise for me. With an Administration who positively revels in their growing control of American Citizens’ lives, cradle to grave, it is a fait accompli that the amount of people who forgo providing for their families by the sweat of their brow, to embrace “Free Lifetime Benefits” given so graciously to them by Uncle Sugar, should rise.

That being said, what is the Administration and the Vichy Republicans doing to correct this problem, and get America working again?

Answer: Absolutely Nothing (Say it again!)  The Administration and their “friends across the aisle are making plans to grant amnesty to 10 million Illegal Aliens, in a fight to see who can create more voters for their political party.

in fact, per  Breitbart.com,

According to Politico, pro-immigration reform groups will target House Republican leaders and over 20 Republicans they think are vulnerable on the issue. Their goal is to get a vote on immigration reform this year.

Republican mega-donor Paul Singer has teamed up with George Soros to finance pro-comprehensive immigration reform groups like the Evangelical Immigration Table, which released a letter on Monday urging lawmakers to support a pathway to citizenship, and the National Immigration Forum, which will also be mobilizing support.

The Fair Immigration Reform Movement, described as “an umbrella organization for an array of immigration rights groups nationwide,” will “intensify the pressure on House Speaker John Boehner (R-OH), Majority Leader Eric Cantor (R-VA) and Majority Whip Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) as well as 26 Republicans” representing districts with a significant number of minorities.

Both Political Parties need to realize that if they free up our Capitalist System to run in the manner in which is has for over 200 years, Americans will have jobs, their outlook will be more hopeful, and both parties will have happy voters. And then, they can decide what to do with the 10 million who have broken our country’s Immigration Laws.

Our American Leadership have misplaced priorities.

It’s still the economy, stupid.

Amnesty and the Economy: A Juan Valdez Overload

ibamaillegalimmigrationSo, how that Hopey-Changey Thingy workin’ out for ya?

Gallup.com reports that

Americans’ confidence in the economy in July was the lowest it has been in any month since April. Gallup’s Economic Confidence Index slipped to -12 last month, down from -8 in June and -7 in May — with the May reading representing the most positive monthly average since Gallup began tracking economic confidence daily in 2008. Still, consumers’ confidence remains higher than the -16 reading in March — the lowest monthly score this year — which encompassed the public’s reaction to the automatic budget cuts that took effect as part of sequestration.

Also, according to Gallup, 35% of Americans say that Economic Conditions are Poor, Only 19% of Americans believe that Economic Conditions are Good. 42% of Americans believe that things are getting better. 53% of us believe that things are still in their descent down the ol’ porcelain receptacle.

Meanwhile, out on Martha’s Vineyard, our Slacker-in Chief invited the Press to watching him play around of golf…AFTER he had the First Dog, Bo, airlifted, all by his lonesome, via helicopter to join the rest of the family on vacation…the Obamas’ SIXTH Luxury Vacation of the year.

So, while the majority of working class Americans are living paycheck-to-paycheck, the Obamas and the rest of the New Aristocracy, are living the High Life in their Beltway Bubble, up on their own “Mount Olympus”,

And, like the gods of old, they “know what’s best” for us mere mortals.

These Omnipotent Olympians actually claim that AMNESTY will help America’s Economic Plight.

Recently, brilliant American Economist and Political Pundit, Dr. Thomas Sowell, was interview by Laura Ingraham, on her syndicated radio program. Here is what he had to say about Amnesty and the Economy:

That’s incredible. I mean —first of all to an economist, it is incredible to speak about shortages without talking about prices, in this case wages…You know there, there have been so many predictions of shortages of so many occupations and the shortages don’t materialize. And why not? Because if there is a shortage, the wage rate goes up. That attracts in more people and lo and behold, the jobs are filled.

In agriculture, the farmers would obviously prefer to get workers who get low pay rather than workers they have to pay a higher wage. And as long as there are an unlimited supply of farm workers coming in from Mexico, they will never have to raise the wages very much. They say Americans won’t do these jobs. These are jobs Americans have done for generations, if not centuries. And it’s a time when millions of Americans are out of work, and are looking for any kind of work. And so this is utter nonsense.

…They constantly talk about immigrants in the abstract. You know, there are no such thing as abstract immigrants. There are immigrants from country a, b, c, d. They are radically different. People coming in from some countries almost never go on welfare. Immigrants coming in from other countries go on welfare to a great extent. If we’re going to have a rational immigration policy, then we have to be able to decide what people, what countries, what occupations — things like that, instead of rushing everything through.

The other main thing though is that if we don’t control the borders, we don’t have an immigration policy because regardless of what policy you put on paper, if people can just walk across the border when they darn well please, then your policy means nothing. The other thing that bothers me is the Republicans seem to think we will give — illegal immigrants citizenship if they do a, b or c. Democrats say x, y and z. I don’t know why we need promise anybody citizenship before we get control of the borders and have time to sit down and think and look at the facts, and then try to draw up some rational policy.

Dr. Sowell, sir, I believe that Rationality and the New Aristocracy, including the Vichy Republicans, took divergent paths a long time ago.

All weekend long, Drudge has been reporting that the Democrats claim to have enough Republican votes in the house to push through a “Path to Citizenship” Law, or AMNESTY.

My concerns about this whole “Path to Citizenship” business, can be divided into four bullet points. (Hey, I’m a VP of Marketing. What do you expect?)

1. Patriotism – Will these new “citizens” be willing to fly our flag above theirs? Will they be willing, if called upon, to serve in our Armed Forces, at home or abroad? Will they love this country, more than the one they left?

2. Loyalty – When these “new Americans” achieve the right to vote, are they all going to vote Democrat, so that they can receive more FREE STUFF? Is the Republican Party shooting themselves in both feet by pushing an outcome which will simply add new Democratic Voters? As I asked in the first point, will they honestly embrace our sovereign nation as their new home? Or, will they remain loyal to Mexico?

3.  Immigration – Are we rewarding illegal behavior, while at the same time, insulting all of the brave souls who have come here legally, seeking a better life for themselves and their families?

4. Economy – Our anorexoc economy cannot afford to take on more “tradesmen” and/or unskilled laborers. What we need are more entrepreneurs and business executives.

I understand that people want a better life for themselves and their children.  We are all immigrants in this land, except for American Indians, and they got here by crossing the Bering Straight.  But there is a huge difference between immigrating here legally and sneaking in illegally, between assimilating into an existing culture, and insisting on replacing a country’s existing culture with that of the country you left.

I’m all for assisting anyone in becoming a legal citizen of the United States, if that is their wish.  But, it must be done the right way, and they must accept responsibility for their illegal entry, show a willingness to learn our language, and embrace our American way of life, including respecting the American Flag.

So, let’s take this one step at a time.  Secure our borders.  Enforce the anti-illegal immigration laws.  And if the Federal Government won’t, the states, like Arizona, will have to pass their own laws.  America became a great nation because it is a melting pot of American-born and legally-immigrated citizens with a shared allegiance, not a multi-cultural United Nations with everyone loyal to their home country.

A wide-open Southern Border is as big a threat to the sovereignty of the United States as anything that our enemies can throw at us right now.  All of OUR SERVANTS, up on Capitol HIll, need to quit playing political games.  The safety of America is at stake .  SECURE THE BORDER NOW.

Ohh…and, one last thing…ATTN House Republicans! If you vote for Amnesty, I hope you have a trade to fall back on., because AMERICANS will fire you as soon as possible.

House Establishment Republicans Begin Push for Incremental Amnesty.

boehnercryingWell, it appears that the Republican Establishment is determined to start pressing for incremental amnesty, in order to compete with the Democrats for the “Mexican” vote. Of course, they are couching it in the politically correct terms of  “Humanitarianism” and “fairness”.

Frankly, these RINOs sound like a bunch of Democrats.

‘‘Paul Ryan says we cannot have a permanent underclass of Americans, that there needs to be a pathway to citizenship,’’ says Rep. Luis Gutierrez, D-Ill., who has been working relentlessly on immigration legislation. ‘‘He is my guiding light. I know I get him in trouble every time I say it.’’

Senior White House aides often mention the Wisconsin Republican as crucial to the prospects for legislation this year, hoping the Republican with impeccable conservative credentials will sway recalcitrant House members. Ryan also is a reminder of two other powerful forces backing an overhaul of immigration laws — the Catholic Church and business.

Ryan is a practicing Catholic who made a point of attending Mass every Sunday during the jam-packed 2012 campaign; the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops strongly favors the first major changes to immigration in 27 years.

Ryan also represents a southeast Wisconsin district in a state that relies on the manufacturers of Waukesha engines, Kohler generators and numerous supply chains. The companies are counting on immigrants to fill future factory jobs.

‘‘The American economy needs immigration reform, certainly the Wisconsin economy does,’’ said Kurt Bauer, the president and CEO of Wisconsin Manufacturers & Commerce, the state’s chamber of commerce.

Ryan made his appeal at last week’s closed-door GOP meeting, urging Republicans to seize the moment and opportunity.

He ‘‘made some very good points about how immigration is part of our history, it’s made us great as a country. The diversity of America is one of its greatest strengths,’’ recalled Rep. Tom Reed, R-N.Y. ‘‘I will heartily agree with that. I think all of us in the conference accept that and believe that, and that’s where we recognize that this is a problem that has to be dealt with.’’

Speaker John Boehner (R-Ohio) on Wednesday offered an endorsement for a proposal to grant citizenship to children who were brought to the U.S. illegally by their parents.

“This is about basic fairness,” Boehner said one week after convening a two-hour meeting to discuss immigration with his conference.

“These children were brought here of no accord of their own, and frankly they’re in a very difficult position,” he said. “And I think many of our members believe that this issue needs to be addressed.”

Majority Leader Eric Cantor (R-Va.) and Judiciary Committee Chairman Bob Goodlatte (R-Va.) are crafting a bill to deal with children brought to the U.S. illegally. They have said it will differ from the Dream Act in the Senate, which would grant citizenship to children brought to the U.S. illegally who meet certain requirements.

Back on June 28, 2013, townhall.com reported

Speaker John A. Boehner reiterated to House Republicans this morning that he will not bring up the Senate’s immigration overhaul for a vote in the House. “Weeks ago, I — along with Eric, Kevin, Cathy and Bob Goodlatte — issued a statement making clear that the House is not going to just take up and vote on whatever the Senate passes,” Boehner told lawmakers, per a source in the room. “We’ll do our own bill, through regular order and it’ll be a bill that reflects the will of our majority and the people we represent.” … Democrats have ratcheted up pressure on Boehner to bring up the Senate’s bill even if a majority of his own conference opposes it, if the House is unable to pass legislation of its own. But the speaker last week all but guaranteed a majority of his majority would have to back any immigration bill before it would come to the floor.

What is now obvious is the fact that Boehner, Ryan, Cantor, and the rest of the Republican Establishment are the most gullible politicians on the planet.

These lunatics actually believe that, if they grant incremental amnesty to the illegal immigrants who broke into our sovereign nation, these lawbreakers will repay them by voting for RIINO Candidates in the Midterms and beyond.

Sure, they will. And, I actually resemble the late Paul Newman. Trust me.

Perhaps the GOP Elite realize that the Conservative Base will not continue to support the squishy non-Conservatives they continue presenting as viable candidates for the House, Senate, and, especially, any “Moderate” Nomination for a Presidential Candidate.

Think about it…when has a RINO actually won a Presidential Election for the GOP?

Dubya doesn’t count. Even with his lavish spending, he was waaay more Conservative than he was a RINO.

You would think that these guys would learn by now, that us “creepy a@@ crackas” living here in the Heartland actually believe in good old fashioned American Values.

We believe in morality that isn’t relative. (Just ask Hollyweird about how their Summer Box Office receipts are doing.)

Our ethics are not situational.

We include the words “under God” in the Pledge of Allegiance.

Our children belong to school organizations like the Fellowship of Christian Students and the Fellowship of Christian Athletes.

We proudly fly our nation’s flag above every other nation’s.

And finally, we Conservatives, out here in America’s Heartland, believe that Patriotism is taught as part of an American child’s upbringing, and loyalty is something that you earn.

These are not things you can buy.

And, those politicians who believe that, are not ones worthy of our support.

So, the question is, Mr. Speaker, , et al…

Can you buy off enough illegal immigrants to replace your Conservative Base?

Don’t bet on it.

I hope y’all have a trade to fall back on.

Until He Comes,
