ISIS Gathering At Our Southern Border. No Strategy = No America.

On Thursday, the most powerful man in the world, the President of the United States of America, Barack Hussein Obama (mm mmm mmmm) stode to the microphone…and proceeded to put his foot in his mouth.

“I don’t want to put the cart before the horse: we don’t have a strategy yet,” Obama said of the effort to combat the militant group Islamic State of Iraq and Greater Syria (ISIS) in its safe haven in Syria. “I think what I’ve seen in some of the news reports suggest that folks are getting a little further ahead of what we’re at than what we currently are.”

Obama’s comment that “we don’t have a strategy,” delivered to reporters at the White House before the Labor Day holiday weekend, prompted immediate mockery from Republicans — not to mention quick damage control from the White House.

“In his remarks today, [Obama] was explicit — as he has been in the past — about the comprehensive strategy we’ll use to confront [ISIS] threat,” White House press secretary Josh Earnest said in a series of Twitter posts. “He was referring to military options for striking [ISIS] in Syria,” Earnest added in a hastily scheduled CNN appearance.

Fox News published the following exclusive report, yesterday. ..

Social media chatter shows Islamic State militants are keenly aware of the porous U.S.-Mexico border, and are “expressing an increased interest” in crossing over to carry out a terrorist attack, according to a Texas law enforcement bulletin sent out this week.

“A review of ISIS social media messaging during the week ending August 26 shows that militants are expressing an increased interest in the notion that they could clandestinely infiltrate the southwest border of US, for terror attack,” warns the Texas Department of Public Safety “situational awareness” bulletin, obtained by FoxNews.com.

Uh huh. Well, what happens when ISIS decides to attack the Land of the Free and the Home of the Brave? Here, Josh. Spin this:

Yesterday, Judicial Watch issued the following statement:

Islamic terrorist groups are operating in the Mexican border city of Ciudad Juarez and planning to attack the United States with car bombs or other vehicle born improvised explosive devices (VBIED). High-level federal law enforcement, intelligence and other sources have confirmed to Judicial Watch that a warning bulletin for an imminent terrorist attack on the border has been issued.  Agents across a number of Homeland Security, Justice and Defense agencies have all been placed on alert and instructed to aggressively work all possible leads and sources concerning this imminent terrorist threat.

Specifically, Judicial Watch sources reveal that the militant group Islamic State of Iraq and Greater Syria (ISIS) is confirmed to now be operating in Juarez, a famously crime-infested narcotics hotbed situated across from El Paso, Texas. Violent crimes are so rampant in Juarez that the U.S. State Department has issued a number of travel warnings for anyone planning to go there. The last one was issued just a few days ago.

Intelligence officials have picked up radio talk and chatter indicating that the terrorist groups are going to “carry out an attack on the border,” according to one JW source.  “It’s coming very soon,” according to this high-level source, who clearly identified the groups planning the plots as “ISIS and Al Qaeda.” An attack is so imminent that the commanding general at Ft. Bliss, the U.S. Army post in El Paso, is being briefed, another source confirms. The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) did not respond to multiple inquiries from Judicial Watch, both telephonic and in writing, about this information.

The disturbing inside intelligence comes on the heels of news reports revealing that U.S. intelligence has picked up increased chatter among Islamist terror networks approaching the 13th anniversary of the 9/11 attacks. While these terrorists reportedly plan their attack just outside the U.S., President Obama admits that “we don’t have a strategy yet” to combat ISIS. “I don’t want to put the cart before the horse,” the commander-in-chief said this week during a White House press briefing. “I think what I’ve seen in some of the news reports suggest that folks are getting a little further ahead of what we’re at than what we currently are.”

The administration has also covered up, or at the very least downplayed, a serious epidemic of crime along the Mexican border even as heavily armed drug cartels have taken over portions of the region. Judicial Watch has reported that the U.S. Border Patrol actually ordered officers to avoid the most crime-infested stretches because they’re “too dangerous” and patrolling them could result in an “international incident” of cross border shooting. In the meantime, who could forget the famous words of Obama’s first Homeland Security Secretary, Janet Napolitano; the southern border is “as secure as it has ever been.”

These new revelations are bound to impact the current debate about the border crisis and immigration policy.

One can only hope. However…

Earlier in the day yesterday, the CBS Local Affiliate in Washington reported that

President Barack Obama is interrupting a weekend trip to return to theWhite House.

White House spokesman Josh Earnest said Obama changed his plans for Friday and will return to Washington late in the evening after fundraisers in New York and Rhode Island, instead of overnighting in New York as originally planned.

Earnest said Obama himself made the decision to return to the White House and that it was unrelated to any current events.

“He can sleep in his own bed, do a little work tomorrow, spend some time with his family” before traveling back to Westchester County in New York on Saturday afternoon to attend a private event.

A rumor has been flying around for a while now, that Obama is going to grant unconditional amnesty to Illegal Aliens on Labor Day. If that is the reason for his return to DC from his never-ending Fundraising Tour, Obama will be aiding our enemies and placing our nation in jeopardy for the sake of political expediency.

Former Congressman, Lt. Col. Allen B. West, reported the following on July 11th on his website…

Congressman Ted Poe (R-TX) told CBS’s local Dallas Fort Worth affiliate he believes that ISIS will use Texas’s southern border to enter the United States. “Of course the way they would come to the United States would be through the porous border with Mexico. The drug cartels will bring people into the country no matter who they are — for money,” says Poe.

The U.S. Border Patrol has a specific classification for those caught illegally entering America called OTMs (Other than Mexicans) which denotes those not of Hispanic descent. It is well known that drug cartels are assisting Islamic terrorists in gaining entrance and crossing the border. In fact it’s been going on for some time.

According to Breitbart.com, Human Events reported in 2010 that Iranian currency and prayer rugs were regularly found near the southern border.

A November 2012 House Committee on Homeland Security report from the Oversight Sub-Committee stated:

“U.S. Government officials who are directly responsible for our national security continue to affirm the vulnerability. In August 2007 former Director of National Intelligence Mike McConnell stated that not only have terrorists used the Southwest border to enter the United States but that they will inevitably continue to do so as long as it is an available possibility. In a July 2012 hearing before the full U.S. House of Representatives Committee on Homeland Security, DHS Secretary Janet Napolitano confirmed that terrorists have crossed the Southwest border with the intent to harm the American people. Additionally, the U.S. Border Patrol regularly apprehends aliens from the 35 “special interest countries” designated by our intelligence community as countries that could export individuals that could bring harm to our country in the way of terrorism.” From Fiscal Years 2006 to 2011, there were 1,918 apprehensions of these Special Interest Aliens at our Southwest border.”

An independent security contractor told Breitbart News last week that six Special Interest Aliens (SIA’s) from Afghanistan, Iraq, and Yemen were picked up by U.S. border patrol near Laredo, Texas. Each one had 60,000 Iraqi Dinars ($51.00) apiece on them.

Last week  [the second week in July] in Arizona, a Muslim prayer rug was found.

Obama is doing nothing to stop the flow of illegal aliens entering our Sovereign Nation  because he and his political party envision them as future Democrat Voters.

By granting amnesty to these people who have broken into our country, as a burglar breaks into a home, as well as to their offspring, Obama and those who handle him, believe that they are strengthening the Democrat voter base, replenishing those ex-sycophants who figured out for themselves that Obama’s promise of Hope and Change, was not one of personal prosperity.

Hence, the illogical statement, heard time and again from Obama, that:

The most significant step we can take now to secure the borders is to fix the system as a whole so that fewer people have incentive to enter illegally in search of work in the first place.

Obama and the rest of “the Smartest people in the room” have never taken into consideration that Muslim Terrorists could be among the Illegal Aliens whom this Blanket Amnesty will cover.

Their ignorance and naivete, born out of their zeal for political expediency, could be the instruments of our nation’s demise.

A wide-open Southern Border is as big a threat to the Sovereignty of the United States as anything that our enemies can throw at us right now.  Mr. President, quit playing political games.  The safety of America is at stake .

A Presidential Priority Problem

Obama80sCalledAs we journey through this Quixotic Quest, known as our everyday lives, we come across windmills, which we must tilt with daily, known as “priorities”.

Priorities are unique, perplexing things, as they vary from individual to individual.

For those of us between employment, it is finding a meaningful, well-paying job, so that we may provide for our families. For other Americans, it could be the care of their elderly loved ones. For others, their priority may be to climb the Corporate Ladder at their place of employment.

For the parents of 30-year-old Liberals and “puff puff” “l”ibertarians, it may be that their priority is to get their slacker of a “kid” to move out of the basement.

But, I digress…

Barack Hussein Obama (mm mmm mmmm), the 44th President of these United States, has a problem.

(No, I don’t mean his overbearing wife, Mooch, and her desire to build shopping carts, which will tell us what “healthy” foods to buy. That’s a subject for another blog. Besides, it takes that heifer two rips to haul a.. …well, you know.)

Obama’s problem is one of MISPLACED PRIORITIES.

This problem started the very first time he took the Oath of Office, which clearly outlines his duties as President of the United States of America…

I do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will faithfully execute the office of President of the United States, and will to the best of my ability, preserve, protect, and defend the Constitution of the United States.

Let’s examine the President’s MISPLACED PRIORITIES by using the three words which I underlined in the Oath of Office as topic headings, shall we?

To begin with, let’s examine the word PRESERVE.

It is a conflict of interest to swear to “preserve” a country which you have already promised to “radically change”.

As we have discovered, since Obama’s First Inauguration, all those long years ago, Obama has no intention of “preserving” the Land of our Founding Fathers and of hard-working Patriotic Americans, who sacrificed so much, for this Shining City Upon a Hill.

Yes, Mrs. Obama. Those before us, sacrificed “All this for a flag.”

Then, there is Obama’s Domestic Policy, in keeping with his promise to “radically change” this country, which has resulted in 92,000,000 Americans  “dropping out” of our Work Force, because they cannot find meaningful jobs in a stagnant economy, controlled by a huge all-powerful Central Government, who rewards the slackers, by giving them FREE STUFF from cradle to grave and punishes those Entrepreneurial Americans who actually hire Americans,with onerous tax burdens, slifling competitiveness and creativity, literally bringing to a halt America’s Engine of Economic Growth.

And, finally, under this “PRESERVE” heading, there is Obama and his Administration’s misplaced priority of establishing a “Tyranny of the Minority”, when it comes to imposing the immorality and situational ethics of a very small minority of Americans on the overwhelming majority of the rest of us, through the use of “Push Polls” perpetuated by the sycophantic Main Stream Media and Liberal Activist Judges, whose sole purpose is to further Obama’s original promise to “radically change” our country, including the definition of a word which has meant the same thing for thousands of years.

Next, Obama swore an oath to PROTECT America.

Obama started his presidency by bowing in front of  America’s enemies, during his World Apology Tour.

No President of the United States has every effectively protected our nation from a POSITION OF WEAKNESS.

Ask Jimmy Carter and Bill Clinton, whose milksop endeavors in Foreign Policy led to increased attacks by the Radical Adherents of the “Religion of Peace’, otherwise known as Muslim Terrorism, or as Obama’s staff immediately renamed these wanton acts of violence, “Man-caused Disasters”.

Also, how can you “protect” a nation whose Southern Border is WIDE OPEN, presently allowing entrance to our Sovereign Nation by our enemies and virulent disease, alike?

By allowing the present Illegal Alien Invasion, Obama is saying to the world,

Hey, C’mon in! Our Estados Unidos es tu Estados Unidos! Sit a spell. Unstrap your sidearm. Take us over.

And, that leads us to our final topic heading, DEFEND.

How can the Land of the Free and the Home of the Brave be defended by a President and his Administration who are so naive that they actually believe that they can effectively defend our Soverien Nation by cutting down our Military to pre-World War II Levels?

Our soldiers are, even as I write this, being handed, their “pink slips” in the field. (And, no, I am not talking about the repeal of DADT. Our Brightest and Best are receiving “Termination Notices” while on Active Duty).

Brilliant, huh?

Former Congressman and retired Lt. Col. Allen B. West thinks so, too. He wrote that

For Obama and [Secretary of Defense Chuck] Hagel to believe taking the US Army down to pre-World War II levels is a smart decision evidences their abject stupidity in comprehending the global conflagrations in which we are embroiled — the enemy has a vote. This whole inane statement about “pivoting to the Asian-Pacific rim” is more empty rhetoric as we decimate our US Naval strength while China builds theirs.

Barack Hussein Obama cannot be seen as a Commander-in-Chief and I will never refer to him that way. His fundamental transformation of America means weakening our nation and leaving our Republic less secure. I can just imagine how appreciative and elated his Muslim Brotherhood friends are at this point, to include Turkey’s President Erdogan, as well as the mad mullahs in Iran.

I realize that I could have grown this Blog exponentially, by listing all of Obama’s MISPLACED PRIORITIES en masse.

However, i believe that simplicity in communication is the best way to get one’s point across.

The point I have been attempting to maker today, is a rather simplistic one, in deference to the Liberals whom I know read this blog on a daily basis, attempting to catch me in some sort of “lie”, which only they can see.

Obama’s MISPLACED PRIORITIES have not only tarnished this Shining City Upon a ill, but it has endangered the continued existence of America and her citizens, with every day this past week, bringing a new example of Obama’s deliberate ineptness and shallow behavior, in the poor fulfillment of his Oath of Office, to the degree to which average Americans are concerned about their children’s’ and grandchildren’ sfuture.

Obama has failed miserably in his sworn duties as President of the United States.

But, then again, perhaps the only promise he intended to keep, was to “radically change” America.

…for the worse.

The Illegal Alien Invasion: Is It Only Latinos, Who Are Entering Our Country Illegally?

illegalimmigrants4As the Invasion at our Southern Border continues, the Obama Administration, while shouting over and over again from their mountaintop that this is a “Humanitarian Issue”, has neglected to tell the American public that there is a far more sinister concern that our wide-open Southern Border brings, as well.

Former national deputy chief of the U.S. Border Patrol Ronald Colburn tells National Review Online that the Obama administration has undone all of the progress made at America’s southern border since 9/11.

“We’re back to a pre-9/11 situation basically, and this administration did that in the past five years,” he says. “All of the good that was done after 9/11 up to now has been reversed singlehandedly.”

Colburn, who spent more than 30 years working for U.S. Customs and Border Protection, says the resulting national-security risk has to do with the “clutter” of people at the border. He says all of the gains made since 9/11 came as a result of reducing the number of people crossing the border. The Border Patrol’s task is to sort through the haystack of people as they come across, he says. “What this situation on the border is doing is growing the haystack, is adding clutter, so that those dangerous needles get through because we’re tied up capturing, instead, juvenile children from Guatemala and El Salvador,” he says. “When you see the cartels — the Zetas and MS-13 and the Gulf Cartel — laughing about this on the Internet, you know what’s behind it.”

Colburn says the “gangsters down south” enjoy social media, taking selfies, and talking about one another online. Border Patrol officials monitor the cartels’ online communications along with officials from the Department of Defense and intelligence community, he says.

Now, just suppose that Muslim Terrorists, disguised as Latinos, are entering our country, along with the rest of this Illegal Alien Invasion.

Last week in Arizona, a Muslim prayer rug was found. As reported by Breitbart.com, “Matthew Leber spokesman for the American Patriot, Three Percent, sent Breitbart News photos of what American security contractors on the ground believe is a Muslim prayer rug found near the border in Arizona last week. A member of the security team spoke with Breitbart News on Monday night saying they were on patrol right along the border came down into a wash and the area were working in just south of Sierra Vista in Coronado national forest.”

The reason why this group went down into the wash area was because the Border Patrol doesn’t go down there – in military terms, it’s a defilade position where they lose visible contact with border crossers.

According to Breitbart, the group patrolled along the border that was a patchwork of decades-old rickety fencing made from train tracks and cattle enclosures. Eventually, they were 50 yards by the border and saw a break in the wash. The contractor said, “That’s when I saw this thing laying around. And I was like, ‘What the hell is that?’ We walked over there and I didn’t really want to pull at it not knowing what was on it. I poked a bit at it with a stick and noticed some of the Arabic writing and was just like, ‘Oh boy.’ I snapped a couple of photos and then went on our patrol.”

I have always said illegal immigration is a multi-headed hydra issue and the first head is our national security. Who in their right mind would allow the American southern border to be unsecured? And to hear the liberal progressives of the Democrat Party play political games and castigate blame when this is an Executive branch responsibility is disgusting.

But, Lt. Col. West, President Obama said that al Qaeda was on the run. In fact, sir, the day after you posted the preceding information, Obama spoke extemporaneously at the White House, and said,

[T]he truth of the matter is that for all the challenges we face, all the problems that we have, if you had to be — if you had to choose any moment to be born in human history, not knowing what your position was going to be, who you were going to be, you’d choose this time. The world is less violent than it has ever been. It is healthier than it has ever been. It is more tolerant than it has ever been. It is better fed then it’s ever been. It is more educated than it’s ever been.

Of course, ol’ Scooter has been known to have been wrong before…

The local CBS Affiliate in New York City reports that…

The US Open Tennis Championship appears on a wish list of terror targets in an al Qaeda magazine, an NYPD official said Wednesday.

In a briefing for New York City’s private security community, Rebecca Weiner, the NYPD’s director of intelligence analysis, warned that Inspire magazine is instructing would-be terrorists on how to make bombs and where to set them off, WCBS 880′s Marla Diamond reported.

The magazine lists targets in Washington, D.C.; Virginia; and New York — including the US Open, which begins Aug. 25 in Flushing Meadows, Queens.

Weiner stressed that police are not aware of any specific threats against the tournament.

The Ukrainian Invasion: The Collapse of “Smart Power!”…A Return From Fantasyland

obamaputincartoonThe Russian Bear, Vladimir Putin, continues his quest to reclaim the former Soviet Bloc nation of  Ukraine, while Barack “Urkel” Obama continues to warn him against doing what he has already done.

The Washington Times reports that

President Obama warned Russia on Monday of possible U.S. sanctions over its military land grab in Ukraine, but Moscow brushed aside international threats, tightening its stranglehold on Crimea and calling audaciously for a national unity government in Kiev.

In Washington, Mr. Obama said the world is “largely united” against Russia’s military action and he is considering economic and diplomatic steps that would gradually isolate Russia. He criticized the government of Russian President Vladimir Putin for being “on the wrong side of history.”

“What cannot be done is for Russia with impunity to put its soldiers on the ground and violate basic principles that are recognized around the world,” Mr. Obama said. “Over time, this will be a costly proposition for Russia.”

But the U.S. and European Union floundered for solutions — while global markets panicked over the prospect of violent upheaval in the heart of Europe. Fears grew that the Kremlin might carry out more land grabs in pro-Russian eastern Ukraine, or elsewhere in the former Soviet Union, adding urgency to Western efforts to defuse the crisis.

Secretary of State John F. Kerry was heading to Kiev in an expression of support for Ukraine’s sovereignty, and the EU threatened a raft of punitive measures as it called an emergency summit on Ukraine for Thursday. In Congress, lawmakers prepared to move on an aid package for Ukraine.

But it was Russia that appeared to be driving the agenda.

China, Iran, North Korea…why are America’s enemies now so bold?

Russian troops are invading Ukraine and we have no response. I suppose the Pentagon has more important things to worry about – like hair and makeup for our gay military.

According to World Net Daily, “Almost seven decades after being the scene of one of the most ferocious and protracted battles of World War II – a site of legendary valor and sacrifice on the part of American soldiers – some U.S. service personnel stationed in Okinawa today are treating the world to another kind of display: Gay and lesbian service personnel performing in drag, to raise funds for their activities, to a sellout audience.

Openly homosexual service members at Okinawa’s Kadena Air Base took to the stage and performed as “drag queens” and “drag kings” Saturday on a military installation in support of lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender troops.

In September 2011, on the implementation of the repeal of the Clinton-era Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell policy, President Obama said: “I was proud to sign the Repeal Act into law last December because I knew that it would enhance our national security, increase our military readiness, and bring us closer to the principles of equality and fairness that define us as Americans.” However, the latest reports show that the rate of sexual assaults, and especially male-on-male sexual assaults, in the U.S. military has skyrocketed.

It’s obvious what defines “vital national security interest” in the Obama administration. A week ago Obama announced the decimation of our military – maybe that’s why these troops got their groove on.

I am kinda at a loss for words, but quite sure there are those of you who can fill in the blanks.

The Godfather of Conservative Talk Radio, Rush Limbaugh, was not at a loss for words yesterday. He sums up this whole ugly never-ending Benny Hill Chase Scene (to the background theme of “Yakety Sax By Boots Randolph) rather succinctly:

These are scary, scary times — and one of these days, Putin is gonna figure out that American public opinion does not have the same impact today that it had back in the seventies and eighties. He’s gonna figure out, if he doesn’t already know, that American public opinion has been dumbed down and refocused. America’s now focused on, “Should we be penalizing players 15 yards or kick ’em out of the game for using the N-word in the NFL?” The American people are focused on, “Can gay couples buy a cake from a non-gay baker or not?”

In fact, you probably have heard this by now. Sarah Palin, back in 2008, predicted and warned that Russia was gonna take Ukraine. She was laughed at. She was mocked and made fun of because, of course, that was the narrative. Sarah Palin never said was she an expert on the Soviet Union ’cause she could see it from her backyard. Tina Fey said that in a comedy sketch. Palin never said it, yet it was attributed to her.

Romney, I remember this in a presidential debate like it was yesterday. Probably the second debate, Romney is warning of Russia as our number one geopolitical enemy, and Obama is sitting there and mocking him and laughing at him and making fun of him like he can’t believe what he just heard and everybody knows it’s Al-Qaeda. And look at what’s happening here. All the people who’ve been insulted as dumb and stupid and idiotic and don’t know what they’re talking about are being borne out. There were people — I’ll leave myself out of this — there were people eight years ago warning that Putin existed to rebuild the Soviet Union. The Washington establishment hemmed and hawed and huffed and puffed and laughed, said nothing could be further from the truth. The best and the brightest had no clue.

Now, by the way, Russia and the ChiComs are aligning. They have discovered geopolitical interests that meld together and one of those geopolitical interests is opposition to us. Then you’ve got the ChiComs and the Japanese on the verge of a major conflict. I don’t think too many people are aware of that. So these are heavyweight times, and we’ve got a lot of people dazed and confused and just, in addition to dazed and confused, entirely misinformed. They happen to be our leaders at the moment.

Yes sir. These are “heavyweight  times”.

And, we have a lightweight sitting in the Oval Office as “the Leader of the Free World”.

Yesterday, even Obama’s sycophants, The Washington Post, had to admit that Obama’s “Smart Power!” is a work of fiction:

FOR FIVE YEARS, President Obama has led a foreign policy based more on how he thinks the world should operate than on reality.

Unfortunately for our nation, Obama’s Fantasy Land, where “Smart Power!” reigned, has led to a failure of Foreign Policy, and the birth of a Nightmarish Reality of a purposefully-weakened national image and cross-dressing military.

Obama to Cut US Military to Pre-World War II Levels. [Neville Chamberlain Lives!]

All of Obama’s promises come with expiration dates.

That was then. This is now: Obama has ordered his Secretary of Defense, Chuck Hagel, to offer a budget proposal which would reduce America’s Military prowess by 1/8th, taking it down to Pre-World War II levels.

Yahoo News reports that

The proposed 13 percent reduction in the army would be carried out by 2017, a senior defense official, who spoke on condition of anonymity, told AFP.

The spending plan is the first to “fully reflect” a transition away from a war footing that has been in place for 13 years, Hagel said at a press conference.

The plan comes amid growing fiscal pressures and after years of protracted counter-insurgency campaigns, which saw the army reach a peak of more than 566,000 troops in 2010.

Having withdrawn US forces from Iraq in 2011, President Barack Obama has promised to end America’s combat role in Afghanistan by the end of this year

The proposed cut in manpower along with plans to retire some older aircraft and reform benefits for troops could run into stiff resistance in Congress.

A senior US military officer, speaking on condition of anonymity, acknowledged the political challenge.

“We’re going to need some help from our elected representatives to get this budget across the finish line,” the officer said.

Several members of the Senate Armed Services Committee immediately expressed reservations about the budget proposal.

Republican Senator Roy Blunt of Missouri, who sits on the committee, said the proposals had the “potential to harm America’s military readiness.”

The Pentagon had previously planned to downsize the ground force to about 490,000.

But Hagel warned that to adapt to future threats “the army must accelerate the pace and increase the scale of its post-war drawdown.

Hagel also said the army national guard and reserves would be cut by five percent.

The smaller force would entail some “added risk” but it would still be able to defeat an adversary in one region while also “supporting” air and naval operations in another, he said.

The Pentagon for years had planned to ensure the army could fight two major wars at the same time but that doctrine has been abandoned.

Distinguished American Veteran, Former United States Representative Lt. Col. Allen B. West wrote the following, concerning this announcement:

Instead of “investing” in the most important task of our federal government — providing for the common defense — we shall now focus on “investing” in the expansion of the welfare nanny-state. There is no doubt where President Obama’s priorities lie.

We have departed from the maxim of “peace through strength” to a belief in “appeasement through weakness.” Obama somehow believes kumbaya is a strategic objective. And don’t give me the crap about drones, because we learned during Vietnam that a president should not be directing strikes from the White House – implemented by another failed progressive president, Lyndon Baines Johnson.

We should be examining how we create the capability and capacity to meet the challenges of the enemy globally. That means looking at each geographic AOR (Area of Responsibility; CENTCOM, AFRICOM, EUCOM, PACOM, SOUTHCOM, NORTHCOM) and ensuring they have the appropriate level of force mix to meet the threats in their AORs.

We don’t need massive endeavors into new technologies, we need a massive focus on capability to meet and defeat the enemy by way of deterrence. Of course I support the defense industry, but the defense industry shouldn’t be the drivers of our national security strategy.

For Obama and Hagel to believe taking the US Army down to pre-World War II levels is a smart decision evidences their abject stupidity in comprehending the global conflagrations in which we are embroiled — the enemy has a vote. This whole inane statement about “pivoting to the Asian-Pacific rim” is more empty rhetoric as we decimate our US Naval strength while China builds theirs.

Barack Hussein Obama cannot be seen as a Commander-in-Chief and I will never refer to him that way. His fundamental transformation of America means weakening our nation and leaving our Republic less secure. I can just imagine how appreciative and elated his Muslim Brotherhood friends are at this point, to include Turkey’s President Erdogan, as well as the mad mullahs in Iran.

Spot on.

The greatest American President in my lifetime, Ronald Reagan, once said, 

Of the four wars in my lifetime, none came about because the U.S. was too strong.

Reagan was a realist. He realized that, as President Theodore “Teddy” Roosevelt once advised, the best way to keep America safe, is to “Speak softly and carry a big stick”. Unfortunately for us, we are presently suffering through a president who speaks like a wuss and carries a feather pillow….and a prayer rug.

martin luther kingToday, a lot of Americans have the day off.  Why?  America is observing a national holiday in observance of a civil rights pioneer:

Martin Luther King, Jr., (January 15, 1929-April 4, 1968) was born Michael Luther King, Jr., but later had his name changed to Martin, to honor his grandfather.

On August 28, 1963, he directed the peaceful march on Washington, D.C., climaxed by his delivering of an address titled “l Have a Dream”, to 250,000 Americans, in front of the Lincoln Memorial:

I have a dream that one day this nation will rise up and live out the true meaning of its creed: “We hold these truths to be self-evident: that all men are created equal.” I have a dream that one day on the red hills of Georgia the sons of former slaves and the sons of former slaveowners will be able to sit down together at a table of brotherhood. I have a dream that one day even the state of Mississippi, a desert state, sweltering with the heat of injustice and oppression, will be transformed into an oasis of freedom and justice. I have a dream that my four children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin but by the content of their character. I have a dream today.

Also during those years…

He conferred with President John F. Kennedy and campaigned for President Lyndon B. Johnson; he was arrested upwards of twenty times and assaulted at least four times; he was awarded five honorary degrees; was named Man of the Year by Time magazine in 1963; and became not only the symbolic leader of American blacks but also a world figure.

At the age of thirty-five, Martin Luther King, Jr., was the youngest man to have received the Nobel Peace Prize. When notified of his selection, he announced that he would turn over the prize money of $54,123 to the furtherance of the civil rights movement.

On The New Yorker Magazine’s website this weekend, is a nice bit of propaganda titled : “Going the Distance…On and Off the Road With Barack Obama”.  In this fluff piece, you will find the following paragraph:

Obama’s election was one of the great markers in the black freedom struggle. In the electoral realm, ironically, the country may be more racially divided than it has been in a generation. Obama lost among white voters in 2012 by a margin greater than any victor in American history. The popular opposition to the Administration comes largely from older whites who feel threatened, underemployed, overlooked, and disdained in a globalized economy and in an increasingly diverse country. Obama’s drop in the polls in 2013 was especially grave among white voters. “There’s no doubt that there’s some folks who just really dislike me because they don’t like the idea of a black President,” Obama said. “Now, the flip side of it is there are some black folks and maybe some white folks who really like me and give me the benefit of the doubt precisely because I’m a black President.” The latter group has been less in evidence of late.

It seems to me that President Obama’s philosophy seems to be the anti-thesis of what Dr. King was speaking about in front of the Lincoln Memorial, on that day so long ago.

Whereas Dr. King was envisioning a day where his children would be judged by the content of their character, President Obama, and his fawning sycophants in the Democrat Party and the Main Street Media believe that we should ignore his incompetency and give him high marks for simply being America’s first Black President.

Dr. King sought to be a Uniter. President Obama is a Divider.

On November 4, 2013, another famous American (who just happens to be Black), the distinguished Former Congressman Lt. Col. Allen West, wrote the following in an Op Ed for The Washington Times:

..Could it be that Obama believes he possesses the ultimate get-out-of-jail-free card?

As the first African-American president, Obama was supposed to represent a new era in race relations in our nation. America sought this historic moment as a means to cleanse itself of the horrors of its past, and it has provided him a cover that he, the Democratic Party and the mainstream media have all exploited.

When the Democrats introduced Barack Hussein Obama, a young man from Chicago, to America at the DNC convention in 2004, it was part of a grand strategy. The progressive socialists who have commandeered Democrat party knew that only with a carefully crafted image could they advance their ideology and agenda. America fell for it eagerly, electing the most liberal — that is, the most leftist, socialist — man in the Senate to the White House.

The get-out-of-jail-free card then was Obama’s skin color, and it remains so today. How often is criticism of failed policies met with cries of racism? Last week many commentators struggled not to say that Obama lied to the American people, but even the Washington Post couldn’t hide the fact.

Obama was not reelected by running on his record but by being “likeable,” and by demonizing his opposition and again. Americans, albeit by a slim majority, decided failed policies didn’t matter; abandoning Americans to die in a terrorist attack didn’t matter; deception and lying didn’t matter.

So, why are we surprised that in the first year of his second term we are getting more of the same?

The media and so many others have expended every effort to provide cover for Obama and his faults, policy failures, unconstitutional actions, and lies. The president is fully aware, and his arrogance and disdain for accountability are rooted in his recognition that America lacks the intestinal fortitude to hold him accountable, because of his skin color — his personal political get-out-of-jail-free card.

Sadly, not enough Americans paid heed to Dr. Martin Luther King’s hope that we would be a nation to judge not by the color of one’s skin, but by the content of one’s character. We are now at the risk of seeing our Republic being fundamentally transformed because we wanted to celebrate a historic moment.

As I wrap up today’s blog, allow me to share a vivid memory, of a life ended way too soon:

It’s the night of April 4, 1968.  A 9 (and almost 1/2) year old boy is watching a program on a black and white television set in his home in the mid-town area of Memphis, Tennessee.  Suddenly, the screen changes to the Civil Defense logo and he hears a voice saying:

Will all members of the National Guard, please report to the Armory and all police and fire personnel please report to their stations.

Normal programming resumed.  Then, all of the sudden, or so it seemed, President Lyndon Baines Johnson came on the television saying:

I come to you tonight with a heavy heart…

And everything changed.

However, some things have not.

It still comes down  to the content of one’s character.

The Syria Situation: Are We “On the Eve of Destruction”?

I know that every generation since my parents’, the Greatest Generation, have had to live with the specter of nuclear annihilation hanging over their heads.

It has been a fact of life.

I even remember the old “Duck and Cover” movies, which they showed to school children. Those movies advised kids to get under their desk in the event of a nuclear attack by a foreign power.

Also, when I was young, I remember having the stew scared out of me by a low budget movie titled “This is Not a Test”. It concerned a Sheriff’s Deputy, out on a highway stopping people and herding them into a tractor trailer, because a bunch of nuclear warheads were on their way.

Then, of course, there was “The Day After” a made-for-TV movie starring the late, great Jason Robards and Police Academy’s Steve Guttenberg.  Again, this movie was about a nuclear attack and it’s aftermath.

All these images had an impact on me as I got older.

Now, the Republican Senator from South Carolina, Lindsey Graham, is trying to instill that same fear into all of us, over the Syria situation…

“I don’t want another Iraq or Afghanistan war because that’s just not what we need to do,” he said, before outlining his support for a contained military strike designed to degrade Syria’s ability to deliver chemical weapons in the future and assist those who want to overthrow President Bashar Assad.

But Graham has heard the counterarguments. He knows many are skeptical that replacing Assad would install leadership that’s any more favorable to U.S. interests, even in the military friendly Palmetto State. In fact, a common refrain across the country is that the alternative could be far worse.

“Rebel opposition forces are our sworn enemies. We’ve spent billions of dollars in one country trying to wipe them off the face of the planet ­ al-Qaida. And yet we employ the strategy of funding them and giving them weapons in Syria to get Assad?” asked Jesse Graston, who traveled nearly three hours from Rock Hill, S.C., and forked over the $12 in order to corner the senator.

Facing that strain of skepticism, Graham wound up his case on Syria intervention by raising the stakes considerably. He painted a frightening picture of cascading world events that would reverberate far beyond the borders of a civil war in one Middle Eastern country.

If the United States doesn’t deal with Syria, Graham promised Iran would acquire a nuclear weapon by 2014, the King of Jordan would be deposed and Israel would start preparing to protect itself.

“I believe that if we get Syria wrong, within six months — and you can quote me on this,” Graham said, pausing for dramatic effect. “There will be a war between Iran and Israel over their nuclear program.”

But it wouldn’t even end there, Graham surmised. Undoubtedly, he said ominously, the Iranians would share its nuclear technology with U.S. enemies.

“My fear is that it won’t come to America on top of a missile, it’ll come in the belly of a ship in the Charleston or New York harbor,” he said.

And now, for the first time in my 54 years, I am afraid of the President of the United States.

I am afraid that Barack Hussein Obama is leading us straight into World War III.

Lt. Col. Allen West, is as concerned as I am…

When you study history and understand the series of uncontrollable events that began WW I, we find ourselves not too far from that position now. It’s not just about taking military action against Assad (which in the press conference Obama seemed reticent about), it is about the unintended consequences. President Putin has vowed to continue arms shipments and support, and Iran is issuing orders to its Islamic terrorist dogs for release. The window of opportunity for a quick’ decisive response against Assad has closed. We cannot afford to destabilize another Middle Eastern country in favor of Islamists and establish terrorist sanctuaries. My recommendation? Instead of President Obama delivering a weak’ politically-scripted speech on Tuesday, read “The Guns of August” and learn something about leadership and strategic policymaking.

Growing up, my generation was always told that it only takes one weak, vacillating person in power, who hates America, pressing a button, to bring about total annihilation.

We just never dreamed that it could be the President of the United States.

The Syria Situation: Obama, the Democrats, and the Vichy Republicans Vs. America

obamaburningconstitutionAs I was riding with my non-political bride to work yesterday, I was telling her about the goings on in Washington, concerning inserting us into a Civil War in Syrian, just so the Manchurian Candidate can save face, and at the same time, possibly fulfill promises made to the Muslim Brotherhood during their visits to 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue, as the guy who promised to “stand with the Muslims should the political winds blow in an ugly direction”.

I said,

Honey, Obama and Congress are going to get us involved in Syria, even when 80% of the country does not want us there.

My bride replied,

Since when have the people ever had a choice, when we went to war?

She had a point. Usually, such decisions are made in the Halls of Power. However, the President and Congress usually seek the consent of the people before they send our Brightest and Best off to battle.

Not this time. And, as nationalreview.com reports, the backlash shows why.

Arizona congressman Matt Salmon’s constituents have called his office 500 times about Syria, he tells National Review Online in an interview, but only two callers have expressed support for intervening there. “This is not hyperbole!” he says emphatically.

And Salmon himself is firmly against authorizing a strike. “I don’t see any national-security imperative for our country at all. Both sides in this equation are bad actors.” He also notes that Obama has been unable to form an international coalition and hasn’t laid out an overall objective for a missile strike. “Other than saving face for the president, I don’t understand what we would be doing,” he says.

Further, Salmon doubts the intervention will be brief. “Nobody believes this is going to be a couple surgical strikes,” he says.

Salmon agrees the dynamics of the vote are likely to mirror the July vote on an amendment from Representative Justin Amash to reign in the NSA’s broad surveillance powers, except the vote against authorizing Syrian intervention is likely to have more support. The authorization “will fail by 20 votes,” he predicts.

Salmon praised President Obama for coming to Congress for authorization, but he fears whether the president will abide by the will of the legislature. It would be a constitutional crisis if Obama overrode the will of Congress on Syria, he says, describing that scenario as the “most significant flouting of separation of powers in this nation, if this happens.”

Salmon is part of the right flank of the GOP conference, someone who is deeply frustrated with Speaker John Boehner’s unwillingness to use the upcoming continuing-resolution fight to draw a line in the sand over Obamacare funding.

He also sees the Syria fight as part of a larger battle for the heart of the GOP’s foreign-policy soul. The lessons of Iraq, but also the “past 30 or 40 years” are that “we should be a lot more cautious.” Of the Iraq War, launched by Republican president George W. Bush, he says “We’ve spent countless lives and dollars, and for what?” Salmon says that his fellow Republicans who weren’t in office during the Bush years were more likely to have learned those lessons from the Iraq and Afghanistan wars than those who were in D.C. to authorize them.

Yesterday, the Senate Committee rammed through their resolution on a 10 – 7 vote, allowing Dinghy Harry Reid to bring it up for a floor vote as early as next Wednesday. The Senate Resolution has plenty of loopholes in it for Obama, including the authorization to put “boots on the ground”.

Sen. Ted Cruz was interviewed earlier yesterday on The Blaze Radio. He remarked,

“We certainly don’t have a dog in the fight,” Cruz said, calling it a civil war in Syria. “We should be focused on defending the United States of America. That’s why young men and women sign up to join the military, not to, as you know, serve as Al Qaeda’s air force.”

…“It appears what the president is pressing for is essentially protecting his public relations because he drew a red line, and, essentially, the bluff was called,” Cruz said.

Cruz said of nine major groups of rebels fighting in Syria, at least seven had ties to Al Qaeda, and a strategy from Obama that would arm those groups “makes no sense whatsoever.”

“I’ll give you one of the simplest principles of foreign policy that we ought to be following: Don’t give weapons to people who hate you. Don’t give weapons to people who want to kill you,” Cruz said.

About that “Red Line”…

“First of all, I didn’t set a red line,” said Obama. “The world set a red line. The world set a red line when governments representing 98 percent of the world’s population said the use of chemical weapons are [inaudble] and passed a treaty forbidding their use, even when countries are engaged in war. Congress set a red line when it ratified that treaty. Congress set a red line when it indicated that in a piece of legislation entitled the Syria Accountability Act that some of the horrendous things happening on the ground there need to be answered for. So, when I said in a press conference that my calculus about what’s happening in Syria would be altered by the use of chemical weapons, which the overwhelming consensus of humanity says is wrong, that wasn’t something I just kind of made up. I didn’t pluck it out of thin air. There’s a reason for it.”

On Monday, August 20, 2012, at an impromptu press conference, speaking about Assad and Syria, the Prevaricator-in-Chief said,

We cannot have a situation in which chemical or biological weapons are falling into the hands of the wrong people. We have been very clear to the Assad regime but also to other players on the ground that a red line for us is, we start seeing a whole bunch of weapons moving around or being utilized.”

Pantalones en fuego.

Lt. Col. Allen West said the following about this situation on his Facebook Page, yesterday,

Listening to President Obama in Sweden saying he never set a red line and that his credibility isn’t on the line, but rather the credibility of America, Congress, and the International community. It never ceases to amaze me how Obama never takes any responsibility for his actions. He is the leader of the United States of America and he sets the tone, not Joe and Jane. As a leader, he did nothing for all these months and now wants to enjoin everyone in his abject failure and abdication of accountability. I am not buying into Obama’s weak attempt of guilt-tripping us. Mr. President, you have not earned anyone’s respect to follow you, May I remind you of the result of your unilateral actions in Libya? Also, is it not perplexing that within the last 6 years, Pelosi, Kerry, and Hillary Clinton all sat with and praised Assad, but now they want to blow him up?

To summarize, the President of the United States and the Congress of the United States, have become, in essence, Breznev and the old Soviet Politboro.

It does not matter what Americans, the people whom they are supposed to be serving, want. It is all about them.

If the actual Conservatives in Congress don’t stand up on their hind legs and tell Obama, and the Democrats and the Vichy Republicans in Congress,  NO, we will be intervening in a Civil War on the other side of the world on behalf of the Muslim Brotherhood and al Qaeda.

And, this is all happening less than a week before September 11th.

The actions of this President and this Congress, by attempting to go to war on behalf of the MB and al Qaeda, dishonors the memories of the 3,000 Americans who died that horrible day, now almost 12 years ago.

They should all be ashamed.

The Syria Situation: Yippee-Ki-Yay, Mr. President

obamacowboyhatPresident Obama’s proposed “coalition of nations”, which he sought to put together to justify his bombing of Syria, has deserted him as rapidly as if it were last call at the local bar, and the last man standing has to pick up the check.

Both Great Britain, through a resounding no vote by Parliament, and Germany, have told Obama, in no uncertain terms,

Here’s the book. Here’s the phone. See ya later. You’re on your own.

Meanwhile, France, while claiming solidarity with Obama’s “mission”, is considering dropping their rifles once again, (which this time, would actually be a smart move).

So, did that detour America’s strongest supporter of al Qaeda (euphemistically referred to by the White House and their minions as “Syrian Rebels”) from his personal “Jihad”?

…administration officials made clear that the eroding support would not deter Mr. Obama in deciding to go ahead with a strike. Pentagon officials said that the Navy had now moved a fifth destroyer into the eastern Mediterranean Sea. Each ship carries dozens of Tomahawk cruise missiles that would probably be the centerpiece of any attack on Syria.

Even before the parliamentary vote, White House officials said, Mr. Obama decided there was no way he could overcome objections by Russia, Syria’s longtime backer, to any resolution in the Security Council.

Although administration officials cautioned that Mr. Obama had not made a final decision, all indications suggest that a strike could occur soon after United Nations investigators charged with scrutinizing the Aug. 21 attack leave the country. They are scheduled to depart Damascus on Saturday.

Gosh, when Booosh would act on his own like this, Senator Obama and the rest of his Liberal Friends would jump all over him, like  Meghan McCain attacking a ham sammich.

In fact, the “smartest people in the room” came up with a phrase to attack the Foreign Policies of both  President Ronald Reagan and President George W. Bush.

And, when Obama was a candidate for the Presidency, he was still accusing Booosh of operating in this manner

What was this phrase?  

On May 15, 2008, The New York Times ran the following story…

President George W. Bush used a speech to the Israeli Parliament on Thursday to denounce those who would negotiate with “terrorists and radicals” – a remark widely interpreted as a rebuke to Senator Barack Obama, the Democratic presidential contender, who has argued that the United States under some conditions should consider talking with countries like Iran and Syria.

Bush did not mention Obama by name, and the White House said the president’s remarks – which came as the Illinois senator has been trying to assure Jewish voters of his support for Israel – were not aimed at the senator.

But the comments created a political firestorm, especially after they were enthusiastically endorsed by the presumptive Republican candidate for the presidency, Senator John McCain. Political analysts took Bush’s remarks as a sign that he will not hesitate to intervene sharply in the election campaign on McCain’s behalf.

In a lengthy speech intended to promote strong U.S.-Israeli ties, the president invoked the emotionally volatile imagery of World War II to make the case that talking to “terrorists and radicals” was no different than appeasing Hitler and the Nazis.

“Some seem to believe that we should negotiate with the terrorists and radicals, as if some ingenious argument will persuade them they have been wrong all along,” Bush said.

“We have heard this foolish delusion before. As Nazi tanks crossed into Poland in 1939, an American senator declared: ‘Lord, if I could only have talked to Hitler, all this might have been avoided.’ We have an obligation to call this what it is – the false comfort of appeasement, which has been repeatedly discredited by history.”

Bush then made a surprising segue, adding: “Some people suggest that if the United States would just break ties with Israel, all our problems in the Middle East would go away.” He did not say who those people were.

…Obama and his supporters issued a series of angry responses, on television, via e-mail and by conference call. They characterized Bush’s remarks as a stunning violation of the longtime injunction to “leave politics at the water’s edge.”

In an e-mail statement to reporters, Obama denounced Bush for using the 60th anniversary of Israel to “launch a false political attack,” adding, “George Bush knows that I have never supported engagement with terrorists, and the president’s extraordinary politicization of foreign policy and the politics of fear do nothing to secure the American people or our stalwart ally Israel.”

An Obama aide, Robert Gibbs (and Future Press Secretary), used even stronger language.

“This is an unprecedented political attack on foreign soil,” he told CNN. Gibbs called it “cowboy diplomacy.” And he noted that Bush’s own defense secretary, Robert Gates, has argued for holding talks with Iran.

Former Congressman, Lt. Col. Allen West, summed up Obama’s Smart Power! Foreign Policy in the Middle East, and, especially, in the Syrian Situation,

Ok, I get it now, President Obama stated we would pivot away from the Middle East as part of his foreign policy strategy, or lack thereof. A few months ago, he gave a speech at the National Defense University to state that the “war on terror” has ended. Obama’s grand strategy in the Middle East Seems to be how many countries he can destabilize: Libya, Egypt, and now Syria? In each case he has removed not so good guys, but has enabled Islamic terrorists and totalitarians to gain power. Therefore, not only has Obama sought to “fundamentally transform” America but also the Middle East. He is becoming the best buddy of the Muslim Brotherhood and jihadists and a nightmare for our true buddy, Israel.

So, let me let me try to understand this…when Dubya stood up and defended our staunchest ally, Israel, in front of those who would destroy God’s Chosen People in a heartbeat, that was “cowboy diplomacy”.

But, when The Manchurian President refuses to justify to the American People, an unjustifiable military operation, which will place our Brightest and Best in harm’s way, in order to set up a possible regime change, so that his Radical Muslim”Allies” can rise to Power, , that’s not “cowboy diplomacy”, that’s “protecting the citizens of Syria”.

Sure, Scooter. And September 11, 2001, was not the largest Terrorist Attack ever perpetrated on American Soil…it was the world’s largest “Man-Caused Disaster”.

You warned us that you would “stand with the Muslims” should the political winds blow in an ugly direction”.

And, this appears to be a promise you actually intend to keep regardless of its effect on our closest ally, or the citizens of the nation whom you are sworn to protect…and serve.

Obama Compares Vietnamese Despot, Ho Chi Minh, to Our Founding Fathers

Obama and Founding FathersThursday, President Barack Hussein Obama met with Vietnamese President Truong Tan Sang at the White House

During the meeting, which was held in the Oval Office, Obama says he and Sang “discussed the challenges that all of us face when it comes to issues of human rights,” which was a wussified reference to Vietnam’s horrible record on human rights.

Obama went on to say that,

And we had a very candid conversation about both the progress that Vietnam is making and the challenges that remain.

After the “Rice Wine Summit”, as he was leaving, Sang offered Obama a gift of a “copy of a letter sent by Ho Chi Minh to Harry Truman.”

And, then our Marxist-in-Chief proceeded to show his true colors, once again.

…And we discussed the fact that Ho Chi Minh was actually inspired by the U.S. Declaration of Independence and Constitution, and the words of Thomas Jefferson. Ho Chi Minh talks about his interest in cooperation with the United States. And President Sang indicated that even if it’s 67 years later, it’s good that we’re still making progress.

Liberals’, like Barack Hussein Obama, possess a passionate love  for Revisionist History, which is no more apparent than in the mythology they have built up since the 60s, concerning the Communist Despot, Ho Chi Minh.

…Ho Chi Minh was a dictatorial, megalomaniacal, and extremely cunning man. Behind that fatherly smile was a diabolical mind that was capable of deceiving the entire world, leading us to believe that he had the country’s interest in mind. Ho Chi Minh claimed to live his life with only one goal in his mind: liberating the Vietnamese people from the grips of the French. Apparently his one and only ambition in life was to free the country and lead it to prosperity. Whether or not he meant it in the beginning is debatable, but the horrifying outcomes of his actions later on are absolutely undeniable.

…Throughout his entire rule, Ho Chi Minh labeled his forces the protectors of Vietnam, attacking the South on the pretext of “liberating our southern brothers from the American invaders.” Instead of the name Communist Party, Ho Chi Minh named his group the Labor Party, looking to gain support from the working population. This worked quite well, not only for the people inside Vietnam, but also to the observers from outside the country.

Besides the People’s Army in the north, Ho Chi Minh created another military force in the south, cleverly labeled as the “National Liberation Front (NLF).” In creating this alternate force, Ho Chi Minh wanted to simulate the illusion of rebellion and revolt in the south. Ho’s plan was to make the world think that Vietnam had two separate groups who fought for the same cause, defeating the Republic of Vietnam. In reality, the NLF (aka Vietcong) were directly under Ho Chi Minh’s command and was not a separate entity in the war.

The Mind of Modern Vietnam’s Greatest Villain

As you can see, Ho Chi Minh was a political genius who fooled the world into supporting his cause. Through propaganda, terror, and betrayals of his many allies, Ho Chi Minh formed the Communist movement in Vietnam, putting himself at the top of the pyramid. He incited the patriotism of his soldiers, tricking them into thinking that what they were doing was best for Vietnam. He used the entrance of the Americans to trash South Vietnam, calling them tools of foreign imperialism, and created anger and hatred in the hearts of his soldiers.

Many of his policies during the war were cruel and atrocious. The land reform programs resulted in the deaths of hundreds of thousands of innocent Vietnamese civilians in the north. His murderous policies in treating southern civilians was also disturbing and destructive. One such example was the Hue Massacre in 1968. His soldiers captured the city of central Vietnam, brutally murdering thousands of defenseless people, simply because they lived under the government of South Vietnam.

Sympathy From the West

Even while he was committing these evil deeds, Ho Chi Minh was able to cultivate a positive image in the eyes of the world. Throughout the 1960′s, many people in the west bought into his propaganda, protested the South, and praised the North. They didn’t know of his brutal massacres or his selfish intentions. They only saw what was on the surface, an elderly smile of a charming old man, backed by thousands upon thousands of biased media outlets. The “experts” in America believed that he was a saint, comparing him to real heroes such as Gandhi, Malcolm X, and Martin Luther King. Judging by the evidence of all the Communists’ crimes, whoever made these comparisons should feel really stupid now.

They Should. Unfortunately, Liberals have no shame.

Lt. Col. Allen West posted on his Facebook Wall yesterday, that

My older brother was a Vietnam Marine wounded in a shelling at Khe Sanh. i find it perplexing and disturbing that our current Commander-in-Chief would refer to Ho Chi Minh as being “inspired” by our American founders. The individuals who inspired Ho were Karl Marx and Josef Stalin. I shudder to think President Obama regards them as our founders. Regardless, an apology is due to our men and women who served in the Vietnam War. I would have taken a walk with the new Vietnamese president over to the Vietnam War Memorial and made him see every name on that wall.

Indeed.

If Our founding Fathers were alive today to hear the Manchurian President compare the Communist Despot Ho Chi Minh to them, Obama would be picking up teeth….or challenged to a duel.

Our Founders were Men of Honor, not Men of Convenience, like the Prevaricator-in-Chief.

As his second term as president continues its descent down the porcelain receptacle, Obama’s mask has slipped down so far, it has fallen completely off. He’s either being extremely careless about maintained his persona as an American “just like us”, or Obama simply does not care what average Americans think about him any more. He’s going to do and say what he wants to.

Which explains how rapidly his poll numbers, currently at 41%, have started to fall.

The combination of Obama’s pomposity, Marxist/Alinsky-ite political ideology, and downright cluelessness as to the values and dreams of the average American, makes for a very dangerous United States President.

He’s dangerous, in that he can seemingly do and say whatever he wants, thanks to having no restrictions placed upon him by the RINOs in the House and the Democrats in the Senate.

In that one off-hand comment, he insulted our brave men and women who fought in the horrible conflict known as the Vietnam War.

An American President would have never made that statement.

Lt. Col. West is right. He needs to publicly apologize.

But, he won’t.
