The scene is post-World War I Germany, the year is 1921. In a country badly in need of national pride, a cadre of ambitious politicians and political organizers known as The National Socialist German Workers’ Party decide to establish a German militia, also known as Brownshirts, or the SA. These young people were placed under the leadership of Ernst Röhm, who would be in charge of physical training and political indoctrination.

When the Nazis gained power 1933 their strength was about 400,000 and they considered themselves the rival to the German Army. At the instigation of the Army and SS leaders, Hitler had all the SA’s leaders murdered 30 June 1933, the ‘Night of the Long Knives’, and the organization disbanded.”

Fast forward to July 2, 2008. Democratic Presidential Candidate Barack Obama proclaims in a speech:

“We cannot continue to rely on our military in order to achieve the national security objectives that we’ve set,” he said. “We’ve got to have a civilian national security force that’s just as powerful, just as strong, just as well-funded.”

Barack Hussein Obama becomes President of the United States of America on the theme of “Hope and Change” and a rarely discussed, though publicly proclaimed, political ideology of “spreading the wealth”(a.k.a. Socialism). He immediately sets sail in pursuit of the Great White Whale that has alluded Far Left Democrats for years: The Socialization of America. He immediately passes a so-called Stimulus Bill, which turns out to been nothing more than a ineffectual bill laden with more pork than the Rendezvous Restaurant in Memphis, TN (rest in peace, Charlie Vergos). Then he shoots the moon. He announces that the world’s finest Healthcare System is horribly flawed and needs government intervention. He spends all his political capital, makes the health insurance companies his personal scapegoat and the bill finally passes, through subterfuge and chicanery, almost 1 ½ years into his Presidency.
April Fools!!!! “Scooter “ Obama hid some nifty little extras in his Healthcare, err Health Insurance, err, Healthcare Reform Bill, now the law of the land. For instance:
Section 5210 of HR 3590 the Obamacare Healthcare Reform Law: Establishing a Ready Reserve Corps.

Per Judge Andrew Napolitano:

“In the healthcare debate during the last few months, the issue of creating a small armed force under the control of the President seems to have escaped notice. The legislation that creates this para-military force purports to pre-empt the authority of State governors to control their own National Guard, absent war, which the Constitution does not authorize.”

The new Obamacare healthcare law creates a Ready Reserve Corp – an army of emergency responders. The US Public Health Service describes this army as “an elite team of more than 6,000 full-time, well-trained, highly qualified public health professionals dedicated to delivering the nation’s public health promotion and disease prevention programs and advancing public health science.” It also says the force will respond on short notice to “routine public health and emergency response missions,” even involuntarily.

According the US Public Health Service, the new health care army will:
* Provide essential public health and health care services to under-served and disadvantaged populations
* Prevent and control injury and the spread of disease
* Ensure that the nation’s food supply, drinking water, drugs, medical devices and environment are safe
* Conduct and support cutting-edge research for the prevention, treatment and elimination of disease, health disparities and injury
* Work with other nations and international agencies to address global health challenges
Provide urgently needed public health and clinical expertise in response to large-scale local, regional and national public health emergencies and disasters

But wait, there’s more…

This egregious legislation also added the following text to Section 203 of the Public Health Service Act:
‘(b) Assimilating Reserve Corp Officers Into the Regular Corps- Effective on the date of enactment of the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act, all individuals classified as officers in the Reserve Corps under this section (as such section existed on the day before the date of enactment of such Act) and serving on active duty shall be deemed to be commissioned officers of the Regular Corps.
‘(c) Purpose and Use of Ready Research-
‘(2) USES- The Ready Reserve Corps shall–
‘(A) participate in routine training to meet the general and specific needs of the Commissioned Corps;
‘(B) be available and ready for involuntary calls to active duty during national emergencies and public health crises, similar to the uniformed service reserve personnel;
‘(C) be available for backfilling critical positions left vacant during deployment of active duty Commissioned Corps members, as well as for deployment to respond to public health emergencies, both foreign and domestic; and
‘(D) be available for service assignment in isolated, hardship, and medically underserved communities (as defined in section 799B) to improve access to health services.
‘(d) Funding- For the purpose of carrying out the duties and responsibilities of the Commissioned Corps under this section, there are authorized to be appropriated $5,000,000 for each of fiscal years 2010 through 2014 for recruitment and training and $12,500,000 for each of fiscal years 2010 through 2014 for the Ready Reserve Corps.’

Guess who this unit reports to: Barack Hussein Obama, of course. The problem is, there is no Constitutional basis to this authority. States normally use the National Guard (state militia) to handle emergencies. This new law gives the president more power over the states.

Another lovely added feature is that it may provide power for Obama to force all Americans into vaccinations and other medical treatments using the words national emergency.

This is a fear that doctors who plan on leaving the profession due to the Obamacare mandates will be forced into service. Remember the force will respond on short notice to “routine public health and emergency response missions,” even involuntarily.

Just think…someday soon, you might be saying this to a young person you know, or, even, God forbid, your own son or daughter: “Where did you get that brown shirt from, kiddo?”
